Tontas no van Wed Apr. 15 - A bucket for your, er, thoughts, and some ice all around

We open with Pau trying to get nookie from Santi. No go.

Pau gets dressed. She notes this is the first time he’s rejected her and well he's really in love with Candy. She could always get him to give in. He says yes, because she's beautiful and she’s the mother of his daughter etc. He calls her flirty when she keeps trying, and eventually pushes her out.

He thinks he needs to tell a buddy about this advance maybe that he was able to reject it; not Lalo though, I guess that’s not such a good topic for him, so he settles on Carlos.

At breakfast, the crew at Meno’s house discusses the day’s plans and picking up Chava. Meno is helping himself to THREE spoons of sugar in his coffee, and he’s eating a sweet coffee cake kind of thing. Greg slaps his hand and tells him to leave it. His response is that he is not her husband. She says he’s getting fat, and has to watch sugars and fats. He continues he‘s not fat, he’s only retaining water and stop playing wife in his house. She says she’s just a woman who cares for her in-law. He is surprised she cares about him after all her rejection and she says well now she’s lying again as she did for two minutes but not now. Candy tells him he needs a check up and that she leaves him to her Mom’s care. He grabs the cake anyway after they all leave and proclaims it doesn't raise his triglycerides.

Carlos is begging again for Horty to go out with him. When she rejects him he smacks a big one on her and tells her if she changes her mind to look him up. She gets into it…and is impactada as he walks away. The boys Santi and Lalo watch from behind amazed at what they saw. When they try to get Horty’s attention, she replies that his appointments are in the agenda but she can’t work today…and walks out just like that.

Santi I think is shocked because she never leaves. The boys hug and reflect how beautiful is love…er no futbol, time to watch football they chant as they separate.

Marta is on the phone to Candi that she can’t talk to her hubby about something, so Candi tells her to bring him in and they’ll work it out together. Just then Horty shows up still dazed. Candi is about to tell her to bug off if she’s got something on behalf of her boss but Hort stops her short that she needs her and came for herself.

Meno and Greg are at the docs. I’m trying to figure out what the heck is behind them, either a huge blow up of blood platelets, a lung cat scan or some really funky Italian marble. Modern art? Med folks any help? Meno yells at Greg for forcing him into this and she says she can leave but he says no stay because he’s getting some flushed cheeks (Bochornos) and he’s not going through menopause or something like that.
Horty confesses to Candi that she’s not been with a man in so long and isn‘t sure what to do. She thinks she’s big. her body is awful, and he’s too young for her and a whole host of things. Candi thinks she can fix this and that there is nothing wrong with Horty that it’s all just fear of commitment.

Lalo and Santi have a talk about Lalo’s upcoming “Spermogram“ what a great word. I love it. Santi tells Lalo it’s nothing and he will get a little bottle that he just needs to fill y ya. Plus they have mags and videos to help you. Lalo guesses the jar will be small but Santi educates him it’s bigger and he just should think of it as the size of a soup plate. I swear the actor Lalo is trying not to crack up at the idea of Spermogram. He seems to covers his mouth to hide this. I think Camil actually does. This looks like a face trying to quell a laugh if there ever was one.

After the girls go through a round table of what they each are scared of, boring, I’m not going through that, they welcome Horty to the institute and manage to persuade Horty that she should call Carlos.

The boys Lalo and Santi are washing up for surgery while doing line dances and chatting about their women problems.

Horty calls Carlos and will make him dinner. Her fan club cheers and takes her shopping. I’ll bet the guys loved this scene where she is trying to select some lingerie that goes from clown boy shorts to thong. They then move on to a dress, and the first one is kind of sixtiesish and they aren’t so fond of it. When she dances away, her microphone on her leg shows. She does a pole dance when she finds the right dress. I guess I have to put this in for Carlos...

Horty appreciates all this, she’ll even tell Candi gossip about her jefe, but Candi says not right to gossip so that‘s ok. Horty thanks her and tells her Jefe has never hit the sex bell with her because he really cares for her, she‘s the most important and hopefully they can figure out their stuff, because, say it with me, Tontas no van al cielo. Ha ha!

Ali and Mari spar about getting ready to go to the airport and how he will die when he learns he’ll never see his kid again.

Carlos is now at Horty’s who really looks super HOT!!!!! He tells her as much and she wants to know if he’ll kiss her. He throws the chair out of the way and jumps her live a ravenous beast.

Santi shows up at Pau’s, and she was only expecting a club sandwich.

Santi wants her to go back to NY and she wants to stay with them so gave up everything. She paid a high price for her money and prestige, she lost both of them. She says he’s not that great he had his “Ranking” of priorities, and he didn’t give up his friends etc. She continues that he did something to her when she came back last time and says Santi, SANTI, kiss me! He falls off the bed and moans in distress.

Horty now tells Carlos to get out. Apparently she’s not ready. He promises to help her be ready, but that doesn’t work and he says if he goes then he’s gone, she says so you are gone. Goodbye, and they both resign to taking cold showers.
Santi turns off Pau’s spout too. He’s appalled that the “Mom of my kid“ would be willing to see him in secret and now be his lover….e leaves. She then makes a call to “Jennifer” to see if Jorge tried to call her. Apparently, she won’t go back to NY because she doesn’t want this guy to find her. Aha……

Chayo bugs Lalo to make sure he will go for his sperm count, and offers to go with, but he doesn’t want that so she primes him, almost too much and so she puts the brakes on him and says to think of her while filling his little bottle. He says little bottle, ha, barrel!

Tina and Issy talk about cancer and that they should talk about it. Otro PSA. She says many cancers are curable if detected early so it's not an automatic death sentence. Try telling that to my cat. Issy will go with Tina to her appointment. Santi comes down and Issy notes he’s in the same clothes he wore yesterday. She takes him outside to chat.

She doesn’t want to butt in, but thinks he stayed with Pau. He says just because he’s in the same clothes his meat doesn’t smell, that or he doesn‘t smell like meat. He went to Chapala, in the middle of the night? Yeah, he had to think, and the flies (mosquitos?) kill by the way. This scene made little sense.

This was hysterical. Lalo enters the fertility clinic to make his deposit and doesn’t want anyone to know his purpose. He wants a bag to cover his "sample". Of course there are beautiful women all over and the nurse reminds him everyone is there for the same thing. He sits in the private room rocking out to Iron maiden or such thing and can’t “make it” so calls Chayo. She tells him to use his imagination. Ruh roh. He imagines a bevy of women in sexy nurse outfits, that no one wears anymore, and then suddenly Lulu is there and he snaps out of it. Another make out session with Barb and then some hairy legs. It’s Santi in drag with a bucket for the sample!!!

Candi has spent too much time looking at the flowers says Chayo. The card from Santi says he’s free. In English. Chayo astutely notes that if he is in English, he’s free in Spanish too. Candi agrees she loves him but worries that things won’t work out with him either.

Turns out he plants a tree for Candi and after checking his appts for the day takes his Mom to see it in the yard.

Meanwhile in the underworld, Mariloca Maternity Bruja from Hell is wrapping herself with bandages, I think to make her belly look smaller. She says something about wanting to look like she’s only seven months and something about peoples mouths dropping maybe. She asks Ali for help, but Ali gives up when she learns the wrap has to go under the dress and remarks she's not Mari's servant. Mari confirms her bro will come over later and the gals sit down and begin to make a video.
Issy shows Candy her tree and tells her she wants her son to be happy and blah blah.

Lalo gives up the goods asking for another jar. The nurse says it took him 2 hours for this one! He slinks away.

Issy tells Candi all the trees names, so Santi considers her part of the family and she should know but don’t tell him she does. He’s happy only with her. She says she too, but she just got rid of Pat, and has to deal with her son etc. Issy understands.

Raul arrives…. He finds the note and video camera.

Santi is chatting with Horty and lays some John Lennon on her, that life is what happens when we are making plans. He tells her she’s putting her life to one side. He pushes for his buddy… that Carlos likes her and is a good guy and it‘s normal to be afraid, and she should tell him all this.
Just then Lalo shows up visibly disturbed to collect Santi for Raul. Since he was snuggle facing with Horty he is startled and throws around the flowers. Lalo tells him everyone is waiting at his house for something very serious.

Mari and Ali get on the plane. I love how Ali throws her purse up into the bin.

They get to the house and Mari is on the phone telling him bye bye and to watch the video.

They do and in it she tells him here is his last look at his son. You’ll never see her again, or your kid…ouch.

I posted to sidebar.

Fabulous pictures!!! I can't believe you captured Camil's supressed smile so perfectly! He usually covers it well. Great catch!

On MEPS, the guys have been talking about fantasy-invoking nurse uniforms. Somehow, I don't think tonight's photo was what they had in mind.

Lastly, Santi's advice to Hortensia - You can have a great night, and it could turn into a great relationship. SAY WHAT??? Call me old fashioned, but isn't it supposed to be the other way around?

Just what I was thinking Paula but yes, by today's mores, I think we ARE old-fashioned. Scary isn't it.

Always appreciate the pictures but even more so tonight because I had no Univision. A placard was on all day saying "not available" If I have none today I'm calling Time Warner and sob!....really miss my telenovela "fix"...I may be needing a 12-step group soon.

Thanks so much, Kris, REALLY enjoyed the recap. Now I truly realize what a service this provides for those whose cable is out or who don't get Spanish very well. Muchas gracias.

PS I think Hortensia has great legs.

Kris, the recap was fabulous. Your pictures? Amazing.

It's so nice that not only have Greg and Meno reconciled, they're really developing a good relationship. Their banter is always fun: "He continues he‘s not fat, he’s only retaining water and stop playing wife in his house."

Please, let's have some romance for Meno as well as for Tina (Donato?), not illness the way the current plot seems to be shaping up.

I was laughing at the fantasy nurse scenes until Lulu appeared. How sad the writers chose to have Ed gag and look repulsed. From the previous episode, I thought the writers were finally going to give Lulu the respect she deserves. Guess not. Blech...

Poor Santi. Hoping for a fast father/son reunion.

Judy, sorry you lost Univision last night. It happens in our area regularly and is very frustrating. Hope it's back today.

I'm with Judy and Paula that building a good relationship prior to the good night may be a better idea. Of course, perhaps Hortensia realized it too and that's just what she did.

Jeri, I clicked on your name (couldn't get to it any other way). What a treasure trove of pictures! Of course, I was temporarily stuck late yesterday on EY, my own personal choice for TBLMOE. Thanks again.

Thanks for the nifty, illustrated recap Kris. What a great bonus the photos are. I thought the exchange between Lalo and Santi was downright funny and you captured it nicely in both your description and photo.

How stunning and sexy (thanks a lot for cheapening this word, Pato) Hortensia was last night. I loved seeing her in that slinky dress. Again, thanks for the photo.

Isabel(whom I really like), in her pep talk with`said something that I have to challenge, and that was,"cancer is not the enemy, fear is." No, darlin', cancer IS the the enemy. Fear is a legitimate, normal response to cancer. Fortunately, these days we're a lot better in dealing with both. And thus ends my own PSA for today.

Carlos

Carlos: Thank you for the picture of your beautiful dog. Diana

Kris, thank you very much for the recap. I don't blame you for skipping over the blab session at the institute.

One noteworthy thing was that Candy said she's afraid that her relationships won't work out. And she really did seem downcast about that; I hadn't noticed that she was worried about it before, so that is a development.

Maybe she will be seeking steps to act on her love for Santiago and get her self confidence back.

What seemed most interesting plot-wise was the phone call between Paulina and her secretary in New York.

It's confirmation that she is not in Guadalajara to be with her ex and her daughter, which I'm sure everybody suspected she was not.

Apparently, Paulina is involved with a man somehow, and she is trying to escape him. I'm curious to know who that will be, since they wouldn't waste time bringing him up in dialog if he weren't coming to Mexico.

I haven't heard of anybody who will be joining the cast; I wouldn't consider it a spoiler if someone said who the actor is.

Diana, so glad you got into the photo galleries. :-) So, you are a big EY fan, eh? As you may be able to tell by the great preponderance of EY screen caps in my albums, that is a sentiment after my own heart.

Have you heard the rumor that he is being cast as "Juan del Diablo" in a remake of "Corazon Salvaje?"

This is not my favorite idea for a telenovela or for a role for him. Corazon Salvaje is probably the single most beloved telenovela ever, and people are going to be hideously upset at the remake and the casting.

I wish they would cast him as a character who is at least in his 30's. "Juan" is a young person. But at least there will be EY every night again for a while.

Thanks so much Kris!
I loved Santi in drag but could have really done without the entire "sample" plot. Call me a prude but I'd rank it along with all the potty scenes these writers are so fond of.
I'm glad to know what Pau's real purpose is for this visit. She wasn't running to her loved ones she was running away from someone. Funny, she doesn't seem the type to be afraid of anyone.
I'm hoping somehow Santi and Raul or maybe Pat, will figure out where the witches have gone and arrive to save the baby in the nick of time.

Carrie L.

Jeri, no I hadn't heard! I have been wondering where and when EY would end up next. He is the finest man I've ever seen - sigh...

I will have to do some googling as I'm new to telenovas and am unfamiliar with "Corazon Salvaje". Until he emerges, I will be happily content with your excellent pictures:)

Diana in MA

So Paulina is running away from somebody. Assuming we see the person. The choice of actor would absolutely be a spoiler. Trust me.

Last Friday at dinner our waiter smiled just like Ed Yañez. He was a big guy too. He looked a lot like him, so I told him so. He'd never heard of him. In an airport I once saw a guy who looked A LOT like Colunga. EXCEPT when he smiled. I told him too. I figure it doesn't cost anything to boost a guy's ego a little, and I'm old enough, that it doesn't look like I'm trying to pick him up.

Jeri, would you mind e-mailing me so I can give you one important piece of the puzzle (not a spoiler, I promise)? paulah88@hotmail.com

When Isabel was telling Candy about the trees, I wanted her to say, "... and a birch he named Lucía, and there was a poison ivy he named Marissa, but he uprooted that."

Notice how many people last night counseled Candy to go for it?
* Hortensia in the boutique, something like, "If you walk away, you’re nuts."
* Santiago: Roses that say, "I'm free."
* Chayo, over the roses: "You have no excuses left to deny you love him."
* Isabel, about the trees: "He considers you part of his family. He's only happy when he's with you."

Are we getting close?

Diana, I have to agree with you. If you want to see some of his early work, buy the abridged DVD of "Dulce Desafío," (1988) from Amazon, his first novela with Adela Noriega.

It was a big teen hit. There are screen caps from that in the album, but there is much more of him in the DVD.

Also, in the rodgrigo-misc. album, at the bottom of that page, there are three pictures scanned from a recent People magazine article.

The bottom three are regular resolution, but the three above are very high resolution of the same shots (slow loading).

Paula H, I would be happy to email you, but I trust you that the actor name would be a spoiler; so I'm taking your advice and don't want to know anymore.

I'm not a fan of spoilers of any kind; but the cast information is readily available, and I don't usually mind knowing who's in it.

This comment has been removed by the author.

Paula H, I just did. I sent you a photo of our magnolia in bloom. :-)

Thanks, Kris for a fun recap, and super pictures!

I, for one, enjoyed Lalo's "sample" scene, at least until they got to Santi dressed as a nurse. I especially liked Barbara in the nurse's outfit, along with the other fantasy nurses they showed from the legs up!

I agree with everyone that it seems so many of the characters have undue pressure to sleep over on the first date. Recently we had Gregoria, and now Horti, who didn't, but is being criticized for not taking a chance. She hardly knows Carlos. On the other extreme, we have Candy, who probably won't sleep with anyone until she is at least engaged (and I think that's fine). Lulu seems to be afraid if she kisses Tono, it will inexorably lead to sex. Oh well, I guess I'm just old fashioned, too.

Ugh, what is with this "Do you maybe like me a little bit? Great; let's hop in the sack right now" line of thinking they're promoting here? Does no one believe in a slow seduction and the building of a real relationship first anymore? I know, I am a relic.

So, the whole premise of the institute, as I understand it, is that it is a group of seventh-grade girlfriends you can hire, because you no longer have your own group of seventh-grade girlfriends, because you are no longer in seventh grade. It's complete with the hair-braiding and the giggly prank calls to boys. I forget, do girls that age still play "light as a feather, stiff as a board" or is that more of a fourth-grade thing? I fully expect games of "truth or dare" any day now.

This was an absolutely fabulous recap. What an episode, too!

Yesterday Mike asked, "..why all the TN actors/actresses look European." I heard a statistic, I don't know how reliable, that Mexico is 10% indigeno (native), 85% mestizo (mixed), and 5% white. But on Mexican news when you see government officials, stock exchange analysts, corporate CEO's, etc, they are ALL white. We're not talking about children of European immigrants here. Long-established families. There is even reference to "the 100 families," the old-boy network of the people at the head of government and business.

Consider this. Blacks have been in this country since about 1615? In the 350 years thereafter (until 1965), how much interracial marriage was there? The races coexisted but did not mix. I suspect that in Mexico, it's still that way, at least among the whites.

In this country, most of the Mexican immigrants are indigeno, with a small percentage being mestizo. I believe (but I'm open to correction) that is because the indigenos in Mexico have zero opportunity to improve their position, so they come to the US. The mestizos have more open doors in Mexico, so they stay there. And the whites are at the top of the heap; why should they leave?

My friend told me that in all of Mexico's history, it has had one native president.

That would be Benito Juarez:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benito_Ju%C3%A1rez

I was kind of surprised last night at how nasty Hortensia was to poor Carlo, telling him to beat it after she couldn't cope, like it was his fault or something.

Maybe she was mad at herself, but nobody but her would have known. He's been nice to her, so I think she owes him an apology.

Then again, he was all, "sleep with me now, or I'm never coming back!" Pushy!

Sorry, but I gotta list some spoilers:

- Marissa & Alicia fly to Charlotte where Marissa gives birth in a ladies room between gates A16 and E37. Alicia hands the baby to a passing nun. A&M fly to Athens, then take a boat to the Island of Lesvos. Between high res satellite imagery and Google street view, Carlos, Hombre, Jeff & I get to watch their sweaty, writhing Sapphic trysts under the Mediterranean sun.

- Turns out that Paulina was fleeing from Jorge, her supplier and also a capo w/ Las Zetas. Paulina's head is found in a styrofoam cooler in front of the Guadalajara police headquarters.

- One fine night, Patricio and Santiago split a bottle of Patron and find "in agave, veritas": to wit, Candy ain't worth the time of day. They, like Rick and Louis, have the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Santiago sees Hortensia for the solid woman she is, complete with a sense of humor; likewise Patricio opens his eyes to Barbara. The families, including Chava, Beto, Lucia, and Rocio vacation together at the Jersey shore each summer.

- Candy declares "al Diablo con todos" and marries Raul. She wears the dead wife's wedding dress and lies in a tub of ice water before going to bed. Raul is delighted. I mean, hey, who knows more about faking being a dead chick than Candida?

- Meno and Gregoria decide they just enjoy each other's company, acknowledge their similarities and differences and live together as great friends.

- Soledad finds that Oprah's people will not return her calls, but she gets to appear on Maury Povich and tell of her awful life. She does get appreciative wolf whistles for wearing her shorty shorts. OMG!! Maury's surprise guest today is Candy and she and Sole talk smack with some babydaddy stories before their catfight.

Yeah, I wasn't sure what to make of that whole Carlos thing. I mean I think the idea with her and Greg, and so on, is that they are trying to open up these poor lonely women to enjoying companionship again. And yes, that's important, but hell, it doesn't have to mean sex, or need to happen in one night (except in telenovela land when you only have 150 or so nights to live your whole life....) but it also could be chauvinistic in a way too, that these women are never truly happy until they get the bone.

What the heck. I thought the whole concept of the institute was to teach women they can be happy with themselves and a man is not their identity.

Anyway, yeah, mixed messages there for sure. And no, it's not old fashioned to dine first and then have sex some several (or very several) dates later. It's normal and safe, and healthy for both mind and body.

PS I too don't want to know anything about any suspected guy for Pau or anyone joining the cast for any reason or that anyone even knows anything about there being some other cast members.

Hints that things exist or don't are even spoilers for me so I try to stay away from those. Nobody knows nothin' is the best practice for me. I can't go to you tube even because things have come up in the past and well it ruins the suspense, and I like the suspense! I know some folks don't mind that.

It's hard with this one because it's so bloody old by now, but yeah, a humble reequest to all of you who know things out there, please no hints or guided speculations here. Thanks!

Mike just saw your spoilers, and you will be excepted from my request, of course.

Too damn funny!!!!

Okay Mike, what DID you have for lunch!? Anyway, too funny and I agree...both Patricio and Santiago would be better off with others. Not sure about Barbara but definitely Hortensia...sense of humor, sexy, good legs...and she can still run the office!

Julia, you're of the younger generation (compared to me) so I'm glad you've still got some old-fashioned thinking also. Although thinking back, even in the 60's there were those guys who expected "criterion behavior" on the first go-round. But I don't think they got it as regularly as they seem to be getting it now.

Julia, Carlo said if he leaves, he's gone, not that she had to sleep with him. He hasn't acted like that so far. He came there for dinner; skipping dinner was Hortensia's idea.

Oh my, I'm still reeling, Mike and will cherish this all day.

I love "in agave, veritas"!!!!

Brilliant!!!

For most it's "in agave, vomitus"!!

:)

Really, the best "agave" I know is called Tres Generaciones. Our son and I have come to enjoy a shot of that after the meal at our favorite Mexican place.

Well, I get most of my shot, though someone likes to mooch "just a taste..."

Suave does not begin to describe TG. But Patron is really nice, too, and it's available at the Virginia ABC stores.

Still prefer Woodford Reserve most of the time, which is made not far from the Forks of the Elkhorn, Judy.

Ah, for me, so far, the best fairly affordable and readily available in the US is Cazadores Anejo.

For fun I also love Patron XO Cafe.

I'll have to try Tres Generaciones again. I'm pretty sure I've had it but it's not in recent repetoire.

Salud!!! I have a craving now. Can I have a tequila lunch? Hmmmm.... :)

Hey Mike...if it's made near Forks of Elkhorn, it's got to be good. Does Emilia know you tattled on her about mooching a taste? Get out the iron skillet, Emilia!

Kris, looking at the Va ABC web site, they can special order "Gran Patron Burdeos Anejo" for the low low price of only $515.80.

Umm, caramba? I had no idea one could spend that much on tequila. Think we'll stick w/ Joe Crow for Margaritas.

Judy, it's really good Bourbon. If you get down that way, take the distillery tour.

There better not be no dang ol' fryin' pan this time. Not if someone wishes to continue mooching.

All the tequila advice I've ever seen says that good tequila is wasted on margaritas.

I have a bottle of reposado that's been in the pantry since DA.

Mike, enjoyed your spoilers. Although I'd like to see both Meno and Greg in loving relationships, living together as friends is a great idea if the first scenario doesn't work out.

Jeri, I'm proud to say I did manage to tear myself away from EY viewing for a few brief moments to view some of your great Fea shots. I'm hooked :) Diana in MA

Jeri, agree and that's why Cuervo's fine. Is the term "reposado" (rested?) for tequila that's been aged in oak barrels? DA?

Diana, LFMB has not replayed in the US yet, so it will probably come around again.

Although, I should point out that it was a big hit and that "Amor Real," which was such a mega, mega hit, has not replayed yet here since its original 2003 run.

Mike, "Destilando Amor" was a telenovela with a tequila theme. We got all the lowdown on how it's made. I couldn't resist buying some; I like tequila, but I hardly ever drink. DA was a couple years back, and my bottle of tequila is, too, LOL.

"Reposado" is aged from 2 months to a year in oak barrels. That expensive "añejo" is aged one to three years.

Here's the list from wiki:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tequila#Types_of_Tequila

Mike, very funny and yet further proof that "An idle mind...", well you know. Yes, Tres Generaciones is very smooth, But nothing compares with Ardiente Pasión, or so I've heard. Most here have heard of it but I venture to say none of us has actually tried it. We can only dream and speculate.

Carlos

Jeri, I never drink other than an occasional glass of wine either (I don't like the diminished self control), but after watching so much Univision, and especially the tequila stuff on Tontas, I had to try it. I was at a friend's house and drank less than 4 cc's, and though I enjoyed it, that little bit was enough to definitely feel it.

Paula, I like the taste of beer, wine and spirits; but it doesn't do me a bit of good, unfortunately.

It always gives me a headache. I have to be careful and not drink the whole margarita; which is hard, since it's delicious.

Diana, just curious -- when did you meet EY?

Ooooh yeah, no, if I drink that stuff I drink it like Candi and Santi, by itself. Maybe some lime sometime afterward. That would indeed be wasted in margaritas. Shoot, Sauza blanco is good enough for me in a margarita! Well if we all ever meet up someday, we could chip in and splurge on that Patron special anejo...I always say for that kind of money it better wash my car and clean my floors too! :)

Kris, I finally got to read your awesome recap and the hilarious comments. Nice job on the pictures and way to spy Horty's microphone! I loved Lalo's fantasy, it didn't seem to me that he thought Lulu was yucky but maybe I am just hoping too hard that the stoopid writers are finally getting a clue.

Well I am not old fashioned and I thought Hortensia would be crazy for sleeping with Carlos in the hope their relationship would develop. Don't boink too quickly, that's sex ed 101. Way to go Horty!

Uh oh...looks like Pau's got herself in a bit of a jam. I wonder what sort of ominous trickery the writers have in store for us now?

Thanks again Kris, you write such clever recaps and your pictures are too much fun.
