MEPS, Thursday, June 4, 2009, Nothing Is What It Seems to Be and Father Bosco Is a Priest with Nine Lives, Cap. 78

Good morning, world. Someone please post this for me. I was a little under the weather last night and made my best effort under the circumstances. Please enjoy and comment.

Martina repeats that she is delighted to see Venus, but she wants to know about Columba and Ysenia. Venus tells her about the three unidentified bodies. Silvestre enters singing a song, and Martina wants to know why he left the hospital. Venus tells Martina that damned Jairo just about to killed Silvestre.

Jacinto and Marg discuss the pitfalls of arguing with the Elizaldes. Jacinto has had it up to here, and Marg realizes that Jacinto is a strong and good man. There is a knock at the door and it is none other than dear Camilo. Camilo invites Jacinto outside, but Jacinto holds his ground. Camilo enters and Jacinto wants to know what’s up. Marg goes outside and prays for God to protect Jacinto. Camilo wants to know how much money Jacinto wants for the papers he found in Gonzo’s car. Camilo tries to backhand Jacinto, but Jacinto blocks it and gives Camilo a piece of his mind and tells Camilo to get lost. Camilo can’t believe Jacinto is in his face and giving him orders.

Marg comes back inside and finds Jacinto in an agitated state. He says he’s the same person he’s always been, but he’s sick of Camilo beating up on him.

Silvestre, Martina and Venus have a lovely family moment. Martina gives Silvestre money that she has earned as Lili’s caregiver. Martina asks Venus what she’ll do now that the cantina is gone. Venus says she’ll look for work and a place to stay. They offer her their house. Silvestre tells her that life is now offering her another opportunity because she’s a decent girl.

Aurora is saying the Rosary at Dominga’s. Fortunately for us, this is all we have to her from her today. At the same time, Barb is pondering the last words she heard from Artemio Bravo about Aurora. She cuts her initials out of the handkerchief, and she remembers that Artemio Bravo told her that Aurora means nothing to her. But Barb still wants to know Aurora’s connection to Artemio Bravo. She thought bubbles that if Aurora crosses her path again, she’ll be met by the Devil just to get back at Artemio Bravo.

Vlad tells Anibal that they have to talk. Vlad says that he succeeded in avoiding a disaster. He wants Ani to explain some minutes of the Board of Directors meeting to him. Vlad, the rat, tells Any that someone in the organization is passing info to the Alvear family, their competitor.

Fer calls FrEd. She has found out something, and he asks her if it’s about Power Milk’s deposit. She wants to meet with him, like at 7:00 p.m at his house.

Damian finds out that Vlad is now in his old office. Vlad tells Damian that Fer wants to talk to him. Poor woman, says Vlad. He reminds Damian that he can trust him. Vlad says that Fer will pay to see him and that she’s inclined to help him.

Fer and FrEd meet. She doesn’t understand why he’d give $10 million to a company associated with Camilo. Ed doesn’t want to stir up trouble in the family. He also wants Barbara to be happy because she’s the only one who opposed the partnership. Fer thinks FrEd is playing with them. He says all business is a game of strategy, but that she is not part of the strategy. He asks her to confide in him.

Vlad wants to know what Dam will do. Dam will please his wife.

Fer tells FrEd that she believes that she’s shown him on various occasions that she trusts him. Her cell rings and she asks FrEd for privacy. Steve is waiting in the living room, and tells FrEd that it is dangerous for Gardenia to stay at Las Animas. They are going to find a place for her where no one can find her.

Fer and Damian talk. She wants to know why he hasn’t tried to contact her. He goes into his “mi peque” act and tries to get her sympathy. She’s not buying it. He tells her that he’s not with her because Barbara would like to see him dead.

Barb asks Tomasa if Santiago has returned. Tomasa tells her no because Aurora hasn’t returned either.

Damian continues playing Fer. He needs to see her real soon because Barb turned him in to the police and put a price on his head. At this point they discuss where they can meet and he comes up with la Troje Vieja, the Community Center (?) and begs her not to tell anyone and that they will meet at soon as possible.

FrEd tells Steve that the problems with Gardenia are related to Manzanares, Camilo, Artemio Bravo and the bombing of the cantina. Fer walks into the living room and tells FrEd that she has to leave because she has a meeting she forgot about. Once again she tells him he doesn’t have to escort her to the car.

Steve enters and FrEd says he’s wants to follow her and find out who she is meeting. It is now dark and Vlad is driving Damian to the meeting place.

Steve says what are you talking about. FrEd say he has to find out what’s going on.

Damian chose this dark lonely place to meet with Fer so that there would not be any witnesses. Dam gets out of the car and tells Vlad to go on. Fer drives with FrEd following behind her.

At Pueblo San Rafael Father Bosco bids goodnight to an employee. He locks up the building and the woman leaves through the walled garden and shuts the gate. Carpio and friend discuss Padre Bosco and that they can’t fail Artemio no matter how you look at it. Carpio is dangerous, but after reminding all of us that he looks like the son from Sanford and son, I think only of Frick and Frack when he appears on screen.

Ed realizes that Fer is going to “la Troje Vieja.”

Padre Bosco is saying his evening prayers when Carpio says it’s time to go. His sidekick doesn’t want to be part of this, but Carpio reminds him about Artemio’s orders. They carry long ropes and climbing gear out of the car.

Fer arrives at La Troje Vieja and looks around. She leaves the headlights on and calls out Damian’s name. He comes out of the shadows and all lovey dovey says, “yes, it’s me,” and you are a dream. FrEd is shocked to see them embrace. Dam tries to work his magic on Fer, but it does not appear that she’s going for it. Dam says when he explains, she’ll understand. So get on with it she says. He tells her that Barbara Greco is to blame for everything.

Frick and Frack have climbed the wall and rapel down into a patio and then the courtyard. The good padre has turned in for the night – when bad weather interrupts my satellite transmission.

Back again, Padre Bosco heads for the bed and leaves a candle burning, but he reaches up and shuts off the electric light. The two intruders head for his room and put silencers on their pistols. Carpio kicks at a door and Bosco gets up to see what’s happening. He looks out the window and calls out. Bosco then opens the door to his room. Commercial break.

Bosco walks down the hall while Frick and Frack are walking around in circles. There is a knock at the door by none other than Gardenia and Steve. Bosco knows them and invites them to sit down. Steve tells Bosco that he has brought Gardenia to Bosco’s church for safekeeping because she is in great danger. Looks like she’s jumping from the frying pan into the fire.

Frick and Frack realize that this is not their night and give up and leave.

Damian tells Fer that Barb told him that Gonzo had given the order to transfer the money. She wants to know why she didn’t tell her. He says Barb double crossed him and accused him of fraud and turned him in to the police. He was afraid to contact her because he thought it might be a trap. The money, he says, probably went into one of Barbar’s foreign accounts. Fer wants proof. He tells her that she has his word and if he had $3 million he wouldn’t be here. She doubts that she’s the only person he can trust and wants to know what he wants. She’s having a hard time understanding his tale. He understands and wants to know how he can prove his innocence. He needs her and embraces her. FrEd shakes his head in disbelief as he hides in the shadows.

Avances: FrEd can’t believe he’s so stupid.

Have not read this recap yet--but I know it will be good, as are they all. Thanks to all the recappers.

Have to tell you all that we have a new puppy--4 months old, black Lab mix...and her name is Liliana.

LR

Thank you for the recap, Pasofino. I hope you will feel better soon.

It would be nice if Venus spent the rest of her life taking care of Silvestre. She is a good person and looks to be around his age.

I can’t believe Padre Bosco went to bed with candles burning around the building.
I wonder what Frick & Frack will say when they bump into Gardenia …. Again. They’ll probably wish they’d bumped her off the first time. Let’s hope Padre B has nine lives, like Father Bouffy did in FELS.

Thanks for the recap Pasofino. Go Jacinto! So was Ed able to hear anything Dam and Nanda said or just see? I just loved Dam and Vlad in that little car.

Moving Denia to the church, just what I thought last night, too... from the frying pan into the fire. They'll be back. Carpio's buddy definitely was not into it. :)

JeffMN

Pasofino, I enjoyed your recap. Very good. Sorry that you weren't feeling well, I hope that you are better today. Perhaps you need a little tila te.

I know that they had no idea that Padre Bosco is a target, but could our Gardenia have any worse luck? Or maybe this time it is Carpio with the bad luck. I was hoping that they would stash Gardenia at Dr. O's place. Perhaps she could snap Lila out of her stupor with her endless, mindless chatter.

LR, congratulations on the new pup. Hide the shoes.

Carlos

Doris, yes, Silvestre would like that, Venus staying there... But the same age?? Maybe they could just knock over one of those candles and burn the place down. Other thing I thought last night, they didn't have any qualms blowing up the mudbar and killing a bunch of people, I didn't know why they didn't kill the padre and whoever was at the door.

Pasofino, yes, hope you start to feel better soon. Hate not feeling well in the summer, just not right. :)

Carlos, either Denia would get Lili out of her stupor or sink her deeper into it .. as well as everyone else there. Dr O would not be affected as he would sleep through it. :)

JeffMN

Thanks, Pasofino, especially since you were under the weather. [I'm under the weather, too. Not because I feel sick but because it has been gray and rainy here all week. Thank goodness the sun is supposed to come out this weekend and temps are supposed to be in the high 70s.] Question: Why would Fr'ed send Gardy to Padre Bosco when he knows that Manzares also paid the good padre some visits ?? Doesn't make sense for Fr/ed to think that she would be any safer with the padre. Ithink that Fr/ed could only see Fern and Dam , and he couldn't see the disbelieving look on Fern's face as Dam was embracing her. Now, he thinks that Fern still loves Dam. Didn't Fr/ed say at the very end .'Eduardo is stupid, but Franco isn't.'' ???? Does that mean that he [as Franco] is going to go all out to seduce Fern because he thinks she's still into Dam and has been leading Fr/ed on ????

Poor Gardenia. Girl just can't get a break. I wonder if the writers have named her storyline "The Perils of Pauline"?

Thanks for the recap Pasofino. I didn't get to finish watching my recording but you filled it in for me so maybe I don't need to.

I thought for sure they were going ot take Gardenia to Dr. O. That is a perfect place for her. I can't remember how the priest fits in. Does he know somehing that Artemio doesn't want anyone else to know?

Go Jacinto! We knew Cadmil-ho was going to try to smack him! Cad didn't know what to think of that.

LR, we love puppies. Post a picture if you can.

Thanks, Paso, yeoman's effort to recap while feeling poorly.

The whole episode was a bit goofy. Fer requests a meeting with Eddy. I was expecting at least a warm friendly encounter, but they were so formal, like they had just met. Has something happened that I missed?

The mtg Fer/Dam was kinda interesting. Eddy couldn't see or hear Fer's part, and of course senses the worst. Damian's explanation revealed more truth that lies, and Fer's suspicions about la madastra should be growing exponentially now. What's she going to do with this info? Is she going to tell Franco about it at all?

Frick and Frack on the hit man trail again. Why did they feel the need for a mission impossible entry with the ropes and rappelling? Seems like a knock at the door would suffice, it got DEnia and Esteve in, no problema. Maybe they will leave their ropes in the truck next time... And Estve's plan to bring her there for safety's sake! I thought that F&F said that they had all night to take care of Bosco, we know they will be back, unless Ciggy calls them off.

Another pile of buildup leading into a Friday episode, should be fun!

dorado dave

Venus almost hanging on Silvestre- what's with that? She must be suffering from extreme low self esteem to be hooking up with a nearly blind, shot-up, and broke old blacksmith. An port in a storm, and her former domicile isn't an option, I guess.

Connie- Ciggy thinks that Soledad might have confided in/ confessed to Bosco some damning ifo on Ciggy, and wants to eliminate the possibility that this info gets out.

That's right. Thanks Dorado Dave. Sometimes it's hard to keep up with all the action. At least this one moves along and we don't have to watch Slofia crying for weeks on end. Although Abora and Santi are almost as bad.

Why would the guys send Gardenia to Padre Bosco? Fr/Ed and the Padre discussed that Bosco was likely also a target after Manzanares body was found, recuerdas? Maybe Fr/Ed didnt tell Esteve where to take her? I obviously need a beanie adjustment. As much as Deluded Denia annoys me, I have to admit I'm starting to pity the poor thing getting kidnapped at gunpoint every other day.

-Liliana

Dorado Dave~~~I was thinking the same thing about Carpio's Mission Impossible entry. The housekeeper left by the main gate and didn't seem to lock it. The bungling duo were right there watching from the truck. Has anyone mentionned that Carpio appeared in the first episode of Alborada? He was Antonio's mother's servant who captured Luis after he escaped from prison. On the mother's orders, he threw Luis into Hippolita's room to make a baby since Antonio hadn't been up to the task. I've seen the other guy before, too. I think that he played a ranchhand on Amor Real on Manuel's hacienda.

susanlynn--I thought that was him! I kept thinking he looked familiar.

Great recap, Pasofino!

As for Troje Vieja, we could translate that as the Old Granary. A troje or troja is where they store grain. This is, of course, the same place where Ed and Fer carved their initials, and where Fer is going to have a new Community Center built.

I agree that Carpio indicated that they had all night. They were just going to wait until the visitors left. However, since Gardenia isn't leaving, maybe their night is complete.

I originally thought the lady who left the church didn't lock the gate, but maybe it locks itself. Also, when Gardenia knocked, Padre Bosco asked who it was before opening. So maybe the gate really was secure, and Carpio actually needed that mountain climbing equipment. Or maybe not, and the writers thought it would be more fun!

liliana- I'm not sure that Esteve knows about that Manzanares had visited PadBos, and he and Eddy did not discuss Denia safe house. They should have done this, they talked about putting her in a safe place several episodes ago, even before she was abducted by F&F. This is a glaring tactical mistake that will have consequences, we know.
This, so far is the first mistake that we have seen el gringuito make so far. Interestingly, he has been portrayed as a wise, caring friend and mentor to Eddy, albeit in a comical way. I'm wondering if this is reflective of the way that the writerssee us, or whether how they would like the viewers to see us, or whether I am reading way too much into this thing. Is there a self-adjusting beanie available?

Thanks, Pasofino - I was a little lost on some of the conversations last night (no beets to blame this time, I was just tired), but you didn't miss a beet. I mean beat. Your under-the-weatherness didn't show at all.

Damian so mean to Vlad... and Vlad is such a dope. It was hilarious when Dam was shooing him out of the room during his phone conversation with Fer.

Hombre- I think that the gate did not latch, certainly she did not lock it when she left. Also, Esteve and Denia were pounding on the door, they had already passed thru the gate. Did Bosco know who at the door when he opened it? I'm not sure...

I couldn't see the logic in sending Gardenia to Padre Bosco either. The one good thing about the church - or maybe it's a monastery since it has so many corridors and rooms is that it is difficult to find anyone in it unless you know exactly where to go. Just a thought.

Here's another thought. Barb may think Aurora is some kind of mole sent by Artemio Bravo to spy on her. Barb could set up some kind of real harm to Aurora, only to find out later, after the damage is done, that Aurora is/was her daughter.

Hmmm...another question : What did the whole scissors scene signify? Babs cut the R.S. off the corner of the hanky and then snipped it up. Is that what she plans to do with Auroraborealis or was that symbolic of Babs attempting to obliterate her former self [Becky Sanchez]??? I thought that she had some underlying maternal feelings and the call of the blood happening , but maybe she doesn't want her spawn reappearing in her life. We'll see if she is as evil as Crabiella or if she has a spark of motherly love still trickling through her veins.

Pasofino, thanks for the great recap - you are real trooper.

Cad is such a jerk, but I LOL when he walked into Santi casa and brushed off his jacket.

Esteve probably took Denia to the church because they know that Padre Bosco is one of the few people they can trust and knows the whole story. If she doesn't stay there I am sure that he would know where to send her. I doubt if there is anything that can be done about her motor mouth.

rsk

DoradoDave, the padre did know who was at the door in that he asked and she said who it was. Not sure if it would have stopped him opening a door whether she said it or not. I thought it was somewhat interesting, she said it was the cunada of Jacinto. Seems like she should have said Gardenia Campillo instead of cunada of Jacinto?

JeffMN

thanks, Jeff, now I do remember the cunada reference, i thougfht it a bit odd, funny I didn't remember till I read what you wroteThe thig with Babs and the cutting- it was very strange, and puzzled me, too. I finally took that act to signify that she was obliterating her past, but she still has a rather large ban balance in that name. She looked like she was menacing her own face with las tijeras. I wasn't sure what threat she was making in her rambling- was she threatening Aurora? What is she going to do now?

You know Frick and Frack in the same scene with Gardenia and Bosco could be very interesting. In their own bumbling way B&B might out smart F&F. Especially if F&F don't know G is there and she surprize attacks them. Remember what she did to C'ho? But he was only one person.

I took the hanky cutting as a mere shredding of evidence. I may be wrong.

--Beth

Dave, wasn't sure either what was said by Barb. Sounds like she is threatening Aurora since Art doesn't want Barb to know anything about Auroraboreallofus.

The padre does have quite a few lives. At least no damage done too him yet. Watching Mariana de la Noche during the day and that Padre just crawled out of the cave where he was tossed. He was whacked twice in the head by Gaviota(!) and tossed in the mine/cave by Gaviota and RightArmando (FELS) and left for dead. There has been discussion before about whether they do in the priests and apparently some have bit the dust. Maybe a lot of them don't get killed off, but boy, they sure try to do them in.

JeffMN

Thanks for the recap...Has anyone noticed that in the last couple of days Sylvestre has been very happy with Venus living there? i was cracking up when they were standing in the house and she had her arm leaning on him and she was cracking her gum and he was allll smiles....too funny....Fr/ed cannot see the look of disbelief Fer is giving Damian so he is getting jealous....I don't think Fer will get back with damian...she is to into Fr/ed now...yeah and who ray for Jacinto for finally getting some balls to let Cadmilo have it.... I was soo happy and wanted to see a smack down....things are moving along...right along...BN in CA

Thanks so much, Pasofino, for above and beyond the call of duty recapping while ill!

I really don't think Silvestre has designs on Venus. He's concerned about her going back to the bad side and wants to protect his daughter's best friend.

Interesting thing about Colomba and Yesenia possibly being among the unidentified chicharones. If Jairo were also unidentified that could mean Dominga somehow got away. Or Dominga could be the third corpse.

Jacinto totally handled Camilo. I watched it twice! He more or less ordered him to meet him at the stables, I forget when. The actor did a great job in the scene afterward with Margarita, trembling from the effort of having confronted his childhood nemesis.

It appears Babs believes Ciggy that her child died at birth and that Aurora is not that child. Now she thinks Aurora is an agent of Ciggy man and Babs is planning to destroy her as part of her revenge against Ciggy. That surprised me. Maybe they're going to have Babs do something really bad to Abora and then suffer the pangs of remorse when she finds out the truth.

I can't believe Vlad puts up with Damian shoving him in his own home!

I think the scene with Fer and Damian showed pretty clearly that she's not in love with him. She didn't immediately believe him and wanted proof. Unfortunately, it looks like Freduardo only saw the embraces and not Fer's face.

A few details.

1. When Camilo asked Jacinto how much he wanted for the papers, I thought (but I missed parts) that Jacinto refused to sell him the papers. He was basically keeping them as insurance to keep Camilo under control. Did anyone get a better detail on that conversation?

2. When Fern was in Ed's office and she took the call, what was Ed up to before he left the room. It seemed as if he leaped toward her to catch her or something? But then he didn't say anything and left her alone. Did it mean something, or did someone make a mistake in maneuvers?

3. We've established, Fr Bosco is Rumpole. The thug is Lamont Sanford. But who is Sylvestre? I swear he looks like somebody.

4. Steve's role. He's obviously the hero's sidekick. But is the sidekick normally smarter than the hero? In comedies I gather the sidekick is an idiot (Omar the Imbecile in LFMB, Ed in Tontas). In more serious stuff, isn't he a few steps behind the hero, like Marioooo in Pasion?

Or is the sidekick sometimes the smart one? I'm thinking of the monk (Cristobal?) in Amor Real. But was he really the sidekick, or more like the "Voice of Reason (VOR)" character. Isn't the VOR usually more distant? Is he/she ever the sidekick?

HEY! Don't the writers know they're supposed to follow the formula?

Paula, someone, and I'm sorry, I forget who noted that Silvestre looks like Gepetto, which I also thought the first time I saw him. I also thought that Pris reminded me of Xena.

Carlos

Sylvestre was on Destilando. He was the supervisor of the workers. Was his name Roman? I can't remember right now.

Thank you Pasofino. It was a night of surprises and you helped me understand what was happening. I thought the obvious place to safely keep Gardenia was the manecomo. But it was way more fun for viewerville to see what they thought was safe!

And LOL - past tense- when Cad knocked so hard on the door that the cross shook. Then to have Jaci as his wife to make them coffee?! Message to Cad was we are now on equal ground. Yay Jacinto!

BTW, I thought the Hit Man still had his foot in the air when the knock on the door downstairs came. LOL and lovin this.

novelera - my beanie hat will have to be on very tight with heavy duty aluminum foil before I can imagine "Babs" and "remorse" in the same century.

Bully for Jacinto, that was ok for now, but very soon I want Jacinto to have a go at Camilo with the riding crop, then I want Saleroso or any horse to kick him in the teeth & while he's down I want Erika to kick him in the ribs. A few weeks in the hospital would be great, so Natasha can NOT visit him.

Fr/Ed did tell Esteve that he had just the place for Gardenia, which I thought would be Casa Loca. I just don't get the Padre Bosco thing. The phony Manzanares was investigating both Fr/Ed & Padre & they both know that. Padre saw him in the grave & knows now that he is an impostor. Fr/Ed knows that Manzanares, Carpio & Nestor all work for Artemio. Has our Fr/Ed lost it? Definitely beanie time. Maybe tonight will clear up some things.
In my avances, Fr/Ed asks Erika to dinner.

Cristobal , the monk, was Luis's sidekick in Alborada. I thought that was an interesting setup of multiple swidekicks : Cristobal [religious] , Felipe [lawyer/father figure], Marcos[bodyguard/ son figure]. In Amor Real, Manuel had 2 sidekicks Sixto [lawyer/best friend] and the older guy who helped on the hacienda. I think that sidekicks usually serve as sounding boards and usually aren't as smart/handsome/clever etc. as the galan. However, in this novela, Esteve seems to be sharper than Fr/ed who seems dazed by looove.

''swidekicks'' ???? Why don't I proofread my posts ???? Word verification ''commar''....dinnertime

Bonney, you're not the only one who thought "Manicomio!" when they were talking about where to send Gardenia. But I guess he can't really just install anyone there he wants to. It could be a problem for the current patients and staff, and he doesn't really have any authority there, except where Lili is concerned.

You know what else I thought of last night? I don't know what will happen to Barbara in the end - prison, death, whatever - but I hope she loses her hair first, somehow. Because she's always stroking her hair, brushing it, stroking other women's hair... her hair's gotta fall out.

ANd she really did look like she was menacing herself with those scissors, didn't she??

Carlos~~~YES>>> I knew that Prissy reminded me of someone, and you are so right...Xena, Warrior Princess. [It's that long black ponytail and that buxom bod. I'll bet she'd look great in Xena's fab costume...that armorplated bra and leather short skirt. Do you think that Pris could manage the war cry ????

I think Babs is finally losing it, since she is losing control of everyone & everything, except 15 watt Gonzo. I think the hankie thing is symbolic, of what I'm not sure.
The best place for Babs last days would be in Casa Loca under the care of Dr. O, he has some getting even to do. Lots of needles would be just fine.

Paula~~~I do think that Cristobal was Luis's voice of reason and moral compass. Whenever Felipe or Marcos suggested more violent means of dealing with situations [like making Hippolita's hubby disappear] , Cristobal always cautioned against those methods. He also was always trying to convince Luis to see Hippolita's view and respect her. He was definitely the voice of reason for Luis when his other 2 sidekicks were either agreeing with him or encouraging him to do something rash.

Susanlynn, I believe that Pris can do just about anything she sets her mind to(and so far has). Fuel for fantasy, Pris decked out as Xena, excuse me while I ponder.

Carlos

Thanks Pasofino for the recap done under trying circimstances. I hope you are feeling better and Susanlynn, I hope you get more cheerful weather soon.
I loved the Padre Anselmo was reading Vidas Ejemplares (I saw it on tape this morning) which must have aided the bewitching that guarded him from certain destruction by the Boyz in Black. I thought I heard them say they have all night to get to Padre so I think they are lurking somewhere in the church. Should be interesting when Esteve goes home and Gardenia and Padre are left to their own devices against the Mission Improbable team.

I hope we see Franco angry and Jacinto reinforced and stronger and not much of the teary eyed couple Santi and Abora. ¡Basta! No lloren ya.

Pasofino, you write a stellar recap even when you are under the weather. Thanks.

Per our readers, Gonzo has gone from 60 watt dim bulb, down to a 25 and now to a 15 watt dim bulb. Ha ha. However, once in a while he does have that constipated look when he ponders something but usually nothing comes of it.

Missed the epi and must catch up on you tube. GinCA

Novelera, both Jairo and Dominga have been included in the identified dead, so they wouldn't be any of the 3 unidentified bodies. I believe Jairo is more than likely dead as I think he is really past any usefulness for plot purposes. Now Dominga, I wonder if she is dead or alive? I'll believe she is dead when they show us a dead body. She may still show up back at home and surprise Auroraboreallofus.

JeffMN

Cheryl, thanks for the recap of Wed. episode. It was loaded with great snarky descriptions.
Thanks for the Thurs. recap, Pasofino, and for your extra effort to overcome not feeling well.
Didn’t eSteve greet Nanda “Hello, gorgeous!” Crazy.
Dorado Dave, there should be a Velcro tab or a sliding buckle for the beanies, like some ballcaps have for easy adjustment.
La Paloma

Re: Gonzo's wattage- he is a 1/2watt nightlight; and that constipated look is just that, and i don't need to know what might come from it...

Julie you are too funny - Barb's hair falling out would be perfect. She does seem to have hair fetish.

Bonney, Denia could not go to the Manicomio because they have their own pair of Frick and Frack's and I am sure they are for hire.

rsk

Hope you feel better soon, Pasofino.

I like the hair falling out of Barbie's head idea. I've noticed that Fer pulled away from Barbie the last few times she tried to touch Fer's hair, arm etc. That gives me the creeps (a tingly up & down the spine feeling)when she does that...
jb

Pris as Xena. So THAT's why she looks familiar to me.

I think taking 'Denia to the Fr. Bosco's was a plot device, to save him from the Mission Impossible team.

Dorado Dave, I am liking Pris as Xena. I really like the actress and would prefer her having fun like Xena to this sniping at Vladi and snapping at Anibal, even though they both deserve it.

Aurora reminds me of Mary Anne from Gilligan's Island.

Aurora = Mary Anne minus personality

For sure DDave, minus personality and much more. Now Pris as Xena, yes. I think Martina and Aurora could have fought beside Xena with no problem, too. :)

JeffMN

Pasofino, thanks for the recap, also the Sanford & Son reference, I kept thinking he looked familiar but couldn't place it.
