En Nombre del Amor, August 13, 2009--This Episode Brought to You by Anvils R Us

Repeat of Carlota smiling smugly as she finishes making her witches’ brew.

Paloma is on the phone with Inaki explaining that Carlota wants Inaki and his parents to come over for dinner and that he officially ask for Paloma’s hand. Inaki says that he doesn’t think his dad will want to come. Paloma asks Inaki to try to convince him, and he agrees to try, but can’t promise anything. After he hangs up, Carmen says she has no desire to socialize with Carlota but understands that for Paloma’s family this dinner is important, so she’ll talk to his dad. She inquires about the investigation of Paloma’s inheritance--he responds that later he’ll show her what the investigator gave him and she’ll see what people are capable of doing for money. He’s going to tell Paloma about it, but not until after they’re married and she’s 18, so she can request a copy of the will. Carmen also asks what Paloma said about coming to live in her house, and Inaki reports that she was happy about but embarrassed/shy. But why? you’re my only son and I’m going back to Spain, and the house is at your disposal.

Romina’s listening to music in her room when Camilia enters to tell her that the teacher she hired has arrived (this is a loose interpretation but I guess the teacher is there to help Romina make up the classes she’s failed); it was the condition the school put so that she doesn’t have to lose the whole year. Romina doesn’t want a teacher, she thinks she can study on her own. They argue, with Romina pulling out the “I’m 18 and you can’t make me do anything” card and Camila using “as long as you’re living here you have to” card. Romina says fine, if you want I’ll leave whenever you want.

Joel presents Rafa with a budget (presupuesto) for a new ceramics line and informs Rafael that they have a new investor whose only condition was anonymity. Rafael can’t believe it—this couldn’t have come at a better time.

Camila calls Emiliano and asks him to help her--Romina doesn’t want to study and he’s the only one who can convince her to do it.

Diana is talking with Ines about the separation. Ines says that Diana and Rafael were the ones she least expected this of. Then Diana announces that she’s not going to Paloma’s wedding because she’s a hypocrite. Ines agrees and recounts how Paloma ran off with her boyfriend and got into an accident, and Carlota had no choice but to organize a quickie wedding. Diana says that has nothing to do with my situation with Rafael (is she referring to when she married Rafael, or to the separation? I didn’t quite get this scene). Ines is glad Diana cleared that up, because that’s what the gossip is making it out to be. She then advises that Diana try to reconcile with Rafael--you’re not going to find another man like him. Men don’t know how to be alone and Rafa can seek consolation in some woman.

Emiliano visits Romina and asks about the search for her dad (she doesn’t have any news) and then if she’s ready for her exams. No, she doesn’t feel like doing anything. Emiliano says she has to finish what she started, but she wonders what for or for whom, when she’s so alone. Emiliano tells her she can’t depend on others to be happy, she has to have something that motivates her. Romina replies that if he loved her and came back to her she’d be happy, it’d be a motive for her to do things well. She asks him a couple more times to come back and kisses him, and he gives in.

Alonso is on the phone with Carmen, refusing to go to the wedding, much less ask for that girl’s hand. Carmen tells him that Inaki is going to marry with or without his consent--if you don’t come to the dinner don’t complain to me later when you regret it. Natalia is eavesdropping and when he finishes the call says she’s going to the wedding and that this would please Paloma’s mother. He warns that if she goes she’ll be going against him, and that could have serious consequences, and she kind of looks like “oh well, whatever.”

German and Inaki are at a bar and German thinks he should have a bachelor’s party. Emiliano joins them and when he announces that he’s back together with Romina, German looks upset.

Romina tells Paloma about how she’s back with Emiliano and how he (allegedly) said he missed her and couldn’t live without her. Romina somehow manages to talk about something other than herself and mentions the wedding, and asks if Inaki is really the man of Paloma’s life. Paloma answers that she has no doubt he is.

Musical montage of Paloma getting her dress fitted, Inaki showing Em and Orlando the rings, Romina with her tutor (but not really studying) and preparations for the big ask-for-Paloma’s-hand shindig.

Paloma is in her room getting ready when Mac comes in-—she has brought a pearl necklace for Paloma, who flashes back to when she was younger and saw the necklace in Mac’s box o’ memories.

Inaki and Carmen arrive for the dinner and Carlota is all nice and smiley-—she made a special drink for the occasion and goes off to get it. In the kitchen, Rufi has already poured a few drinks, so Carlota tells her to take them in to the living room, and she’ll bring in her and Inaki’s drinks. The drink or cocktail looks like red wine to me, and after Rufi leaves Carlota takes out a bottle hidden on a bottom shelf and pours some in Inaki’s glass, all the while ominous music plays and she grins evilly. I guess that means that it’s not so much a family dinner as it is a very exclusive tasting of Chateau Bruja’s finest wine, La Belladona. She gives Inaki his drink, saying “especially for you,” and then offers a toast to the novios’ happiness.

Inaki thanks the tias but Carlota says there’s nothing to thank them for, as everything they do is because Paloma is the most important thing. Inaki assures them they he’s going to dedicate himself to making her happy. Inaki would have liked his father to be there, and Carmen says that since he’s not, she doesn’t think there will be any objection to her asking on Inaki’s behalf for Paloma’s hand. Carlota says oh no, of course there is no objection, we’re here to support the kids.

To everyone’s surprise, Camila, Romina, and Emiliano arrive--turns out that Carlota invited them because she wanted it to be very special night for Paloma. Geez, she’s laying it on pretty thick tonight, but nobody seems overly concerned. Mac mentions to Camila that she doesn’t understand--she thinks Paloma/Inaki changed her sister and sighs about how different their life would have been if Carlota had always been like she is tonight.

Natalia is packing her bags to go to the wedding and Alonso comes in and says more of the same stuff, how she’s going despite him not agreeing with it. Natalia thinks they should have been at tonight’s dinner and regrets that she didn’t go, so she’s not going to miss the wedding. Alonso says fine, but you’re not taking Sagrario. He threatens to limit her expenses and she tells him to do whatever he wants, she’s going to get a job to earn her own money.

Romina comments to Paloma that she couldn’t believe when Carlota called her, she thought it was a joke. Paloma laughs and says she’s so happy Romina is there. Emiliano is standing in the corner and Inaki notes that he’s looking serious, but Emiliano says it’s nothing, he’s just glad that everything has worked out. Paloma credits him with having a lot to do with that and says he’s like their “hado padrino” (fairy godfather). Then she goes off to get Inaki another drink.

Carlota notices Paloma’s pearl necklace--she explains that Mac gave it to her. Carlota has a flashback of someone putting the necklace on Mac while Carlota looks on from behind the trees. Carmen comments that in some cultures pearls are a symbol for tears...in this case they’ll be a sign of tears, but tears of happiness. Then, when Carlota learns that Paloma was on her way to get Inaki another drink, she takes the glass and offers to get it.

Romina sees Paloma & Inaki laughing and talking and glares at them, and when she notices Emiliano watching them rather forlornly she snaps at him and orders him to smile.

Carlota delivers the drink to Inaki. Then Carmen starts talking about how they’re there to officially ask for Paloma’s hand. Inaki is my only son, the love of my life and the reason for everything I do. Inaki & Paloma’s relationship was full of obstacles and the fact that they’ve overcome them is a sign for me that they were made for each other. Carmen also thanks the tias for accepting Inaki as a part of Paloma’s life.

Carlota agrees to the request for Paloma’s hand, but first scares everyone by making it sound like she’s going to wreck the party--Inaki wasn’t what I had in mind for my niece--but the two of them have given me a huge lesson and shown me that love conquers all, etc.

As we go to commercial, Inaki starts to look like he’s dizzy.

Diana goes to Rafael’s office and finds Joel there-—she’s surprised to find him so happy, she thought everyone would be in mourning since the company is closing. He tells her that they have a new investor, which surprises and interests Diana a great deal. Yeah, I guess that Rafa isn't such a loser after all. Joel is sure that the new project will be a success and that they will earn more with than they have with previous projects.

Emiliano calls Orlando for advice again, as he thinks he shouldn’t have come to the dinner party. Orlando thinks it’s a way for Emiliano to accept that Paloma can’t be for him. Maybe you’re right, replies Emiliano. As of tomorrow--SIGHHHHH--she will be completely forbidden to me.

Paloma and Romina go up to her room and Romina comments how strange it is that Carlota has changed so much. Paloma brushes it off with something like “whatever the reason, I’m happy,” then shows Romina her dress. Romina never thought Paloma would get married before her, and Paloma admits that if Carlota had always been like she is now, she wouldn’t be getting married so quickly. They chit-chat about married life and how the wedding night will be Paloma’s first time, and Romina is surprised that nothing happened the time the two lovebirds left town together.

Inaki (still drinking his wine) finds Emiliano outside on the patio and asks again what’s up, as he seems a bit strange tonight; Emiliano answers that it’s just work stuff, he’s fine. He mentions how Inaki “te echaste a la tia a la bolsa” (I think roughly this means he won Carlota over, or got her wrapped her around his little finger) but Inaki says he doesn’t trust Carlota, she’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing and she’s only interested in money. Whose money? asks Emiliano. Just then Carlota comes to tell them dinner is ready. Before going in, Inaki gets dizzy again, and attributes it to his drinking Carlota’s drinks too fast.

Paloma and Romina are still in her room--Romina doesn’t know how she and Inaki could resist sleeping together that night in the hotel. She thinks Emiliano wouldn’t have been able to, he’s so passionate. She reveals that her first time was with Emiliano, it was incredible. She plays coy when Paloma asks her to tell all.

Diana shows up at Rafael’s hotel room; she asks if he really prefers to live there than at home. He says there was no other option. She asks him to come back home, she misses him. She claims she doesn’t know what came over her when she said all those mean things before, he’s the perfect man for her. She kisses him and they’re off to the races. That puts tonight's score at: Money-grubbing harpies, 2; the Saenz men, 0.

At the dinner table Rufi gets weepy about how she’ll miss Paloma a lot. Carlota says let’s not get all sentimental, it’s a wedding, not a funeral (well, not yet, anyway).

After dinner Carmen takes happy pictures of everyone while Carlota goes to get the coffee and puts more of her special concoction into just one cup, complete with more scary music and an evil glare. When she brings it out to Inaki he offers it to his mom, but luckily for Carlota she declines and Carlota laughs nervously.

Ines and Aron are discussing Paloma’s wedding--she didn’t think Paloma would marry so young and to someone so different from her family. Aron says that anyone would want to marry Paloma and Ines looks surprised...you too? Aron wonders why that’s strange, wasn’t she trying to fix him and Paloma up? Ines says she gave in to Carlota’s request, but isn’t sure about wanting to marry into the Espinosa family--she thinks they are like "aves de mal aguero" (birds of ill omen), they’ve been surrounded by pain, and she prefers a different class of woman for him.

Paloma and Inaki bid each other good night--Inaki promises that as of tomorrow they’re going to be together forever, have a couple of kids, and they’re going to be very happy.

Rafael and Diana are in bed, and he wonders if she’s sure that this is what she wants. He doesn’t want to return and have everything continue like it was before, the separation was very painful for him. For me too, lies Diana. She assures Rafa that everything will be different between them. He tells her about the new investor. If everything goes as expected, I’m sure that you’re going to be proud of me...I’m going to be able to give you everything you’ve dreamed of.

Back at his house Inaki gets dizzy again. He thinks he drank too much so Carmen tells him he should go to bed. Before he leaves he thanks his mom for being at the dinner tonight. She has been the best mother, and he’ll never forget her support and love. She says that a son like him is a blessing in life. They hug and tell each other they love each other.

Paloma is praying, thanking the Virgin for everything, she’s so happy to have Inaki with her. She only would have liked that her parents be there but in some way she feels like they are there.

Poor Inaki is in the bathroom, sick and breathing heavily while clutching his stomach--did they really need to show the barfing? I think we get the picture, after all the close-up shots of him drinking Carlota’s beverages all night, that it’s not looking good for him. Anyway, the episode ends w/him lying on the floor in pain.

The avances show Emiliano learning that his parents have reconciled, Camila telling Orlando that Romina is her daughter, Carlota asking Rufi if anyone has called the house, Carmen going up to Inaki’s bedroom door about to knock but deciding to let him sleep in some more, and Paloma arriving at the church in her wedding dress but Inaki hasn’t arrived yet.

Great recap Deb, written with a light touch (a necessity with this heavy drama). I watched the last few minutes of this and found it so upsetting. Not only is this fine young man going to die, he's going to die in such agony. What a painful story!

I cannot wait till later on tonight to see what happens with poor inaki, it makes me upset that no on found it suspect the cruelota was being waaaaaaay to nice especially to inaki.

As for Romina I'm so tired of her selfish, woo is me, I'm the princess of the universe attitude. I would have already to her if you don't want to attend school have good grades and you think this is a free ride please leave and let's see how the real world works for you.

I just wanted to let you know I love the sites re caps, especially since I barely understand spanish and my husband (who is Dominican) barely translate because he is super interested in the show so he prefers to watch rather than tell who's saying what.

Does anyone else find Cruelotas evil theme music amusing....reminds me of Jaws lol

Debbie, thank you. I agree that you struck just the right note in capturing this upsetting episode. Those last scenes of Iñaki were unbearable. Even though the pairings in the credits gave a hint he wouldn't be around for long, I just hoped I was wrong. I can't imagine how this will impact Paloma and his parents. I like Emiliano, but he seems boyish where Iñaki seemed more a real man and perfect for Paloma. On a different level, the scene of Diana again getting "la suya" made me want to fling something at the screen. She didn't even seem very convincing being all lovey-dovey. Yuck.

Judy, I thought of you when I was watching Iñaki's scenes, that now you'd never change your mind and watch this show. Way too much trauma. I had been hoping you'd succumb and watch as I always enjoy your comments.

Welcome, Kynyetta, your husband reminds me of my former co-worker's husband, who first resented that his wife comandeered the television to watch novelas and then became totally hooked himself on all three evening shows. He was also Dominican, as was she. She was also one of the few people I know in real life who watch these shows so I had someone with whom I could discuss them.

Well, I'll continue watching no matter what happens. I feel I can't abandon Paloma and Mac now. Plus, I'm waiting for the gigantic anvil that will eventually fall on the no-way-can-she-ever-be-redeemed Carlota.

Jackie...I'll chime in on the recaps when I can but this is the darkest telenovela I've seen yet (admittedly my background is scant). I had to drop out of Destilando Amor and FELS (well heck, FELS was just plain stupid) and yet somehow I was able to watch all of Heridas.

But oh my, the parent's death, blaming Paloma, killing the puppy, strangling the budgie, sending Iñaki to a torturous death, breaking both Paloma's and his mother's heart (she has no other children to console her either), well, it's just too much for this little pantywaist!

Debbie: A thoughtful, caring recap. Gracias. Thank you for infusing a few glints of light into last night's darkness: "Mac’s box o’ memories" and "Chateau Bruja’s finest wine, La Belladona."

The graphic depiction of Inaki's excruciating pain was unendurable. Judy, I'm sorry you saw that and honestly, if I had any idea of how bad it was going to be, wouldn't have watched it myself.

kynyetta, welcome. I didn't know a word of Spanish when I found this site, but have picked up a lot from the wonderful recappers and bloggers here.

Jackie, I totally agree. The scene of Di trying to "reconcile" with her husband made me ill. She is a status-seeking, heartless, money grubbing loser...

I thought the scene between Inaki and Carmen after the party was one of the most touching, lovliest scenes I've ever seen. The acting was powerful and believable from both actors.

I started tearing up when Inaki was drinking Carlota's deathly concoction, started crying at the above scene and by the time Inaki called for Carmen, I was in full blown cry mode.

Am I hoping in vain for a miracle tonight????

Diana in MA

Great recap, Debbie. Very thorough. This is a dark novela. Some recappers on other novelas have the pleasure of being snarky and making fun of the characters. Hard to do with this one. But it has me hooked, and it's quite well acted.

Also disgusted that Joel had to spill the beans. I was hoping for a bit more freedom for Rafael. But when we saw the chemistry between Orlando and Camila, we knew Rafa was either stuck with Diana, who could be redeemed or with an actress not yet introduced.

Wow, Romina is really turning into a poisonous person. She couldn't even tolerate Paloma's hug and being thankful to Emiliano without glaring at her "best friend". And as the party wore on she was beside herself with jealousy at how much Iñaki doted on Paloma.

Iñaki's death seems inevitable. Very, very sad. But it was the only way for the writers to get Emiliano and Paloma together, since Paloma really does love Iñaki.

I'll also continue hoping for a miracle, but it doesn't look good. That was awful. Not my beloved Iñaki! Why can't someone we don't much care about die instead?

Debbie, thanks for the excellent and thorough recap and for the bits of humor to distract from the trauma.

I also didn't quite know what Inés was getting at, except that she definitely seemed disapproving of divorce...or, rather, of not having a man to provide status and income.

Debbie – I so much agree with everyone that you struck just the right tone in your recap. Very well done and well written. Thank you!

Kynetta – it’s great to have you join us!

I kept waiting for the belladonna to kick in, which I think it should have done almost immediately. It messes with the parasympathetic nervous system, causing dilated pupils, staggering, slurred speech, confusion and hallucinations. Instead of all that, we got Inaki feeling a bit woozy then much much later having stomach cramps and vomiting.

Anyway, it was hard to focus on the rest of the story as I kept waiting for the anvil to fall. I fear our sweet Inaki is a goner, and that he’s going to take his knowledge of Paloma’s inheritance with him to the Great Beyond.

Thanks everyone! After all the heavy-handedness of last night (e.g,. the continuous close-ups of Inaki drinking and musica de suspenso) I'm wondering if the writers/producers were setting us up and Inaki will manage to pull through. But even if he does, I'm sure Carlota will find some other way to get rid of him. I liked that they showed the flashback of Carlota seeing Macarena and the necklace, but I wish we had more backstory on her, because right now she's just too cartoon-y for me to take seriously.

Thank you, Debbie, for making your recap of this heavy episode enjoyable.

Oh, my heart is breaking. Our beloved Inaki doesn't seem long for this world. Though I am sure he and Carmen have always had a wonderful mother/son relationship, I am glad they had, perhaps, a final farewell where they expressed their love and appreciation for each other.

If this is Inaki's final swan song, it may be hard to root for Emiliano, the galan, since he is a weaker character than Inaki and hopefully, he won't allow himself to be manipulated by Romina in the future but I wouldn't bet against it.

It so nice to see such sensible children, Romina excepted, who don't seem to be bound by small town ideas and gossip. Aron is not influenced by Tia Ines, thank goodness.

The acting is just super and the fast pace is making this a must see novela for me.

GinCA

"Brought to you by Anvils R Us"....ha, ha. That is a great title.

GinCA

Maggie, yes! I was thinking the same thing: Iñaki!!! You're doomed so please tell SOMEONE about Carlota's appropriating Paloma's inheritance. He almost told his mother and Emiliano. But no. That's not the telenovela way. It's way too early for Carlota to get her comeuppance.

One more thing. I posted yesterday that I couldn't see how Carlota could poison Iñaki at the dinner and get away with it. I still don't see how blame wouldn't attach to her. This young man is (was?) not a peasant. Surely there'd be an autopsy, an investigation of his death.

The person who was threatening to have him brought up on charges of statutory rape and attempted homicide would certainly look like a likely enemy, not to mention eating food and drinking beverages provided by this same person hours before his symptoms came on.

Come on. This novela has been really good and fairly logical so far. It just doesn't make sense she'd get away with this so easily.

Novelera, I was thinking the same thing. It was obvious that Carlota insisted upon personally preparing and serving all of Iñaki's beverages. Everyone at the party was suspicious of Carlota's change of heart anyway. So, duh. And Carmen is no dummy and does not like or trust Carlota. The only possible explanation that could deflect suspcion was the recent car accident. I wonder if Carmen or Natalia will even want to follow up on the inheritance issue after this. And yes, Joel needs to tell Rafael that he told Diana things were picking up at the company. I can see why he is going along with Camila's wish to be anonymous but he knows how shabbily Diana treats Rafael so where are his loyalties?

Diana, I was also tearing up during the final scene with Carmen and Iñaki, as I felt they were saying goodbye but didn't know it. Ditto with the happy photos scene. I was thinking that when Carmen looked back on those photos and how happy her son was that evening, she would be thinking, like the famous opening line from "A Tale of Two Cities" that "It was the best of times and the worst of times".

Judy, all the scenes you mentioned were dreadful. I just realized that I'm sticking with this novela becaause the very fact that I care so much is a testament to how well this show is paced, plotted and acted. The hardest part from here on will be seeing evil Carlota on my screen.

Julia, I'm also hoping for a miracle for Iñaki as I don't want to lose him from the show. He is such an appealing and real character to me. I just love him.

Good observation Jackie. And certainly this show is very well acted and paced.

My problem is I have poor emotional boundaries. My mentor in prayer counseling at my church pointed out to me that I totally enter into the emotional intensity of whatever someone is telling me at the time. And of course people come in for prayer counseling when they are in great distress.

Alas, when watching a movie or telenovela, same thing. I am flooded by the anguish and anxiety of the situation (unless the show is so goofy that one can detach with sarcastic humor) so I really need to stay away from a story as intense as this.

If these were real people, I could pray for them and turn them over to God. But this is just a show. Still I'm affected as if it's real.

Just my bad luck that I got home from a meeting just before Mañana was about to start and I saw that scene. Broke my heart. Oh my. Maybe it was a false alarm. They do love to do that. Let's keep our collective fingers crossed.

I'll continue to read the recaps because I think this is such a talented team of writers.

Judy, I am a social worker and when I'm reading or watching something that is purely fiction, I have to reel myself in from viewing the characters as real people, so I understnad and relate to you completely. Plus, in real life I'm very senstive to other people's feeling so I understand the concept of emotional boundaries. Other than this show, I've been most affected by "Amor Real' and "Alborada", novelas with real human situations and dynamics. I tend to get bored and give up on the more inane story lines. I do enjoy the opportunity to practice my aural comprehension with the novelas, but my literary leanings are gratified with the shows that seem well thought out and real. On the other hand, I don't want to stress or depress myself when I'm supposed to be chillin' out in the evenings. I'm so happy to have found this blog and all the interesting and talented folks that recap and comment here. I've noted before that I'm very shy in real life so hesitate to comment too much, but at times I can't contain myself. :)

Jackie, keep 'em coming. Your comments are always well thought out and enjoyable.

Thanks for the great recap Debbie. I've been in mourning over Inaki's apparent demise. :(
If Inaki is gone or if just extremely ill, you would think someone would be smart enough to point to Cruel. I think Arcadia will put two and two together and figure it out. Problem is, she'll try to extort something from Cruel and then she'll be on the receiving end of an Anvils R us Blue Light Special.
The other one I think would figure it out is our nasty little Romina. She still does not believe Carlota and I think would jump to that conclusion.
But then... If anyone has a mind to think... Carlota is an obvious conclusion. Just beginning math is all you need to add it up. :)

Kynyetta... Welcome, yes, I think of the Jaws theme, too.
Jackie... I think Natalia will continue to follow up on the inheritance issues, but probably not Carmen. She'll probably want to be rid of them.

JeffMN

Novelera, thank you, that was so nice of you.

Jeff, I was also thinking Natalia would be the only one who might pick up the thread of the inheritance. I don't even know if Carmen or Alonso will have an ongoing role if what we fear about Iñaki is true. I'm almost afraid to watch tonight, except that I know I can count on my virtual support group to be there on Monday.

Jackie...yes, I was twisting in the wind with Amor Real. A friend send me the full deck of DVD's and I was so stressed I actually looked ahead to the end to reassure myself that everything turned out all right. But even then, it was sooo painful at times.

I HAVE found that if I can watch a difficult telenovela during the day, I can process the anxiety better. Watching at night means I keep seeing the painful scenes and hearing the painful words when I close my eyes. And then the 3 am wakings aren't good either. Glad you're handling this one better than I am, amiga!

Thank you ladies for the warm welcome, its nice to find others who share the same interest as me (watching telenovelas, GOOD telenovelas).

Diana I cried also when I seen Inaki in pain and calling for his mother, it broke my heart.

I can't believe Palomas aunt is so cruel (hence the nickname u ladies dubbed for her "Cruelota") what happened to her to make her that way, I to wish they would give more back story on her......

P.s and fella thank you jeff sorry I didn't mean to leave you out lol.

Not sure if anyone's still out there on this episode, but....

Judy, we are indeed kindred spirits. I have been known to skip to the end of a book that was getting too intense to be sure my favorite characters were safe and sound in the last chapter. I could then go back and read the whole thing peacefully. So glad you got the uncut "Amor Real". I don't know where you are in the story so I won't say anything that could be a spoiler. I can just say that my favorite character was Umberto. I thought his growth as a person was touching and memorable. Well, the steamy Fernando bathtub scenes weren't too shabby either.

Knyetta, The only thing that's been revealed about Carlota's meanness is that she was in love with the same man (Cristobal, now a priest) as Macarena and the man loved only Macarena. She's been insanely jealous and hateful ever since.

I have been having problems with this website. I am not able to see Friday's episode recap. Is it me or is it not posted yet????

I was in tears friday night, sad sad episode

Friday is not posted yet.

Friday's episode has to be the worst episode ever shown in any novela.
