MEPS - Wednesday, Aug. 26 - the pressure cooker is heating up...

EPISODE #131 (#136 in Mexico):
* Flor finishes talking with Fer and tells Fer to trust and have faith in Franco.

* Steve shows Camilo the car in the barn of Las Animas. Camilo is intrigued. Steve tells him that Camilo will have to present Lovely as his fiance in a very public event, and he has to do it within the month. Then Steve hands Camilo the keys to the car -- take it or Steve will take it to Gonzo and tell him the whole truth about how he obtained said car.

* In the hall, Barb asks to speak with Flor in her office. Flor tells Gardenia at the reception desk and leaves.

* In the office, Barb gives Flor the riot act for spouting off to Fer about Rubiel Villasana. Flor denies saying nothing to Fer. Barb wonders if Franco said something. Flor sputters and panics as she recalls Villasana's outburst in front of Franco. Barb fires Flor on the spot.

* In the reception area, Fer asks Gardenia where Flor is; they have work to do. Gardenia tells her Flor is in with Barbinator.

* As Barb continues her torment, Fer barges in and interrupts. Flor leaves.

* Damian meets up with Priscilla in the parking garage.

* Fer tells Barb that neither she nor any of the family has any right to fire a loyal employee like Flor Campillo. Barbie quiets down, then brings up her and Gonzo's sympathies and intrigue over Fer's separation from Damian. Fer is intrigued by this and starts to hint to Barb about her own pseudo-marriage to Gonzo. Barbie gets defensive. Fer leaves. Barbie grumbles.

* Franco meets with Don Artemio at the mansion office. They discuss Franco's visits with Lili. Franco has to explain how interested Steve Norton is with knowing everything and everyone involved with Grupo Lactos. Don Artemio has doubts and suspects that Franco may also be a spy for the Elizalde family. Franco is confused. Don Artemio mentions his mother's diary and then asks for a meeting with Steve - DA may cancel the visits with Lili. Franco understands. As Don Artemio mentions taking Franco to see Lili, Flor calls Franco to tell him about Barbie being on the warpath. Franco thanks her and hangs up. Just then, Don Artemio receives a phone call from Barbinator herself. She warns him that his suspicions of Franco may have some basis for concern after all.

* In the coffee bar, Flor warns Gardenia to keep her mouth shut and not tell anyone about Franco/Eduardo.

* Fer talks on the phone with Villasana about his case against Damian. Fer has to assure him again that she will help him bring Damian to justice.

* Don Artemio brings Franco in to Lili's room. Lili sits up and looks at Franco. Don Artemio leaves then alone. Franco talks with Lili. In the hallway, Don Artemio pauses and ponders.

* Vladimir is happily surprised to find his gordita linda (Priscilla) standing there in his apartment. She's very serious and really upset with Vladimir for pushing her into the most impossible situation ever - she suspects that someone will end up hurt or destroyed in the end. She's really frustrated. Vladimir only wants to be her husband and father to her and their baby. Priscilla freaks and yells at him the realities of her life with Anibal and the baby again - as if she thinks Vladimir will actually listen this time.

* Lili stands watch as Franco reads from Ana Gregoria's diary. This time he gets to the part where A.G. mentions Soledad, his mother.

* Camilo barges into Barbie's office and forces her to follow him right now!

* Priscilla explains to Vladimir what Anibal is now doing - he's playing the model husband and father and insists on naming the baby Vladimir. Vladimir is surprised and delighted with the news. Priscilla is really upset and thinks he's doing it to continue to torment her about their secret. Priscilla suspects something dangerous for them both. Vladimir is angry. Priscilla calms him and explains.

* Damian is outside the convent school. He knocks on the doors.

* Vladimir wonders about Damian. Priscilla tells him that Damian has officially been kicked out of the hacienda and is separated from Fernanda. She tells him that Damian has threatened to tell the families and the public about the secret if they don't go along with him. Vladimir wonders what they can do? Priscilla explains that she doesn't want any scandals, especially for her baby's sake.

* In the garage, Camilo walks Barbie towards the car. Barbie is impactado (stunned). Camilo explains how Steve returned it to him now.

* Outside at las Animas, a taxi drives off. Venus meets with Steve. Steve explains the deal worked - Camilo is on board for the big public engagement party like she requested. Venus is half-excited. Steve wonders if there's more. Venus hints that she's sure this party will be an extra-special night for Camilo Elizalde (the parasite).

* Camilo asks Barbie how to explain this to his dad. Barbie has to think and leaves. Camilo opens the car door when dear old dad nails him to the car hood and accuses him of stealing the car.

* Franco continues to read the diary entries -- he's at the point where Altagracia threatens Ana Gregoria to continue writing all the truth about her and Don Geronimo, or be kicked off the hacienda forever. Franco looks at Lili and asks a question. Lili tells him where to continue reading.

* Fer and Flor are in a meeting. Mami Ursula barges in hysterical. Flor leaves. Ursula doesn't understand why she sent all Damian's things back to the house. Fer calmly explains that she is divorcing Damian. Ursula freaks out; she can't believe it; she can't believe it. Fer states it's a fact and is happening. Ursula defends her son. Fer tells her nothing will change her mind about the divorce, but she should convince Damian to return the funds stolen from the Villasana family or go to jail; and he should do it for his dignity and self-respect. Ursula is in tears.

* In the office, Gonzo scolds Camilo for stealing the car and accusing someone else of taking it. Camilo tries to explain. Gonzo doesn't believe him and calls Barb to come to the office. When Barb enters, Camilo says that what's best is they have the car back. Gonzo doesn't think so - he wants the truth and justice to be served. Barbie finally speaks and tells Gonzo the truth is that the car was never stolen.

* Aurora is out in the courtyard painting. Sister comes over to talk with her, and tells her that a man has come to visit her - his name is Damian and he's here on behalf of Santi. Aurora knows who he is, but doubts that Santi sent him.

* Gonzo is upset with Barbie defending Camilo like he's a five-year-old child. Barbie claims that the car was collateral used to clear up Camilo's bad gambling debts. Gonzo is upset and angry. Barbie continues with her 'fish story'. Camilo apologizes and leaves. Gonzo asks Barbie why she is covering for Camilo? Barbie pulls out all the overly-dramatic tears she can muster as she explains why she handled it alone and kept it from him. Gonzo asks about the liquidation of funds - Barbie explains that as well. Barbie then mentions Camilo's engagement with Lovely Norton.

* Franco reads from the diary the part right after Ana Gregoria gave birth to her son - when Altagracia throws Ana Gregoria and her baby out of the hacienda in the midst of a horrible pouring down rainstorm. Franco mentions this is a very sad story. Lili says a story of love. She then tells him to read the ending. As Franco reads the last entry, Don Artemio has his assistant move Lili out to another part of the mansion. Franco reads that Ana Gregoria named her infant son Artemio after her grandfather. He repeats aloud, "Artemio" and looks up to see Don Artemio glaring down at him.

* Camilo sneaks back into the office. Gonzo has calmed down. He explains that Barbie has made him understand Camilo's problem and predicament. Then Gonzo surprises Camilo by giving his blessing to the engagement with Lovely Norton; in hopes that with marriage, Camilo will become a responsible adult.

* Damian meets with Mother Superior in the office. Mother S talks to Damian about the convent rules and has one question for Damian - why is he there to see Aurora? Damian says because of Santi, her fiance. Mother S accepts the response and leaves to tell Aurora.

* Franco listens intently to Don Artemio. Don Artemio is protective and defensive about his mom and the diary; he hates the Elizaldes with a passion - because of all the evil cruelty that his mom had to endure so many years ago. He asks if Franco has ever suffered like that in his life. Franco pauses and says no, never. Don Artemio says how fortunate. Then he asks if Franco's discovered who the infant son is? Franco asks 'who?' Don Artemio says, "The son is ME!"

ADVANCE: Damian attempts to mediate between Barbie and Aurora. Now that Franco knows the truth, Don Artemio attempts to control him and force him to continue to keep it a deep dark secret.

Thanks for a great recap! Lots of tension tonight between Fer & Evil Barbie and between Fr/Ed and Don Artemio. Loved Fer putting Barbie in her place regarding her phony marriage to Gonzo!

Best part of the show for me - Mother Superior telling Dam to "button up". Too bad she didn't insist on him buttoning the collar as well. Dam is the master of cheeziness. Ever notice how much he resembles Ned Flanders on the Simpsons?

Good morning xintperuvian and Jody. Xint...you loved the same scenes I did. Fer getting tough on Barbara and the LOOK the mother superior gave ratty old Damian.

Now Jody, dang it, you're teasing me (like Damian does when he won't throw a cell phone. I'm sure there were several charactes in last night's episode who were shaken and stirred...Camillo for one!

No matter. Great recap and love how this is moving along now. Even Gonzo's discovering some leftover testosterone.

Thanks for the recap Jody. Another informative and exciting episode. Where to begin?

Fer barging in on Barb and telling her how it is...super duper.

Fr/Ed-Artemio--BUSTED! Fr/Ed should have been more careful.

Mother Superior-Dam--too funny. She's got his number for sure.

Loved Barbie's explanation of the car. I scoffed and snorted but Gonzo bought it hook, line, and sinker. Are we sure he hasn't had some kind of lobotomy or something?

It does my heart good to see Barbie's plans falling apart.

Why is it that people just come barging in other people's offices?

Merci beaucoup, Jody! We're picking up speed in MEPS Land (or it's alternate title "The Land That Time Forgot") & lotsa lotsa secretos spilling out all over the place. Man, I have a feeling that there's a big week of confessions about to hit the screen.

xintperuvian: Dam DOES look like Ned Flanders! Of course, Ned's probably appalled that he's being compared to a sleaze king like Dam but between the moustache & glasses, they do look alike!

Babs has to learn that she can't rely on idiots. Cam & Dam (aka Dumb & Dumber) certainly weren't the effective evil cohorts she expected. Bwa ha ha!

Ruh roh, very bad vibes for Vlad the Impaler. Better up the life policy while you have a chance.

AB & Fr/Ed have more in common than they realize, well, ex the murders & stuff. Hmmmm...

Maggarita
:-D

I think Artemio is intrigued by Fr/Ed. Otherwise he probably would have whacked him already. You can tell he's trying to figure him out and is curious.

Thanks for the recap Jody. Things are indeed heating up.

Xintperuvian - Ned Flanders and Dam hilarious and as Homer would as, "that's so true."

Thanks for the recap, Jodie, kind of a nonsensical episode for me.

Babs' flimsy explantion for the disappearance of the car- will Estif call Gonzo to see if Cad has told him the story of its disappearance? (Like the follow-up call the local chief of police did to my parents about some beer in my car that I "forgot" to tell my folks about)
The Ab/Franco thing is weird. i don't quite understand why the evil AB is allowing Fanco to see Lili- what's the point where AB is concerned. The final scene where AB explains that the "Artemio" in the diario is he, himself. Really? Gee whiz, I'd never guess that! Eddy blew it- if I were Eddy, I'd have started out- "Lili was reading this, she showed it to me; what a sad, tragic story- is this the story of your birth, don Artemio?" But no Eddy sits there like a dolt and lets AB do all the talking. Beanie adjustment.

I'm very disappointed in Madre Superior, who I thought was the most intelligent person in this TN, she didn't even ask WHY Santiago didn't come himself.

Did anyone understand how the supposed gambling debt was supposed to be settled with the mafia?

Who is the cute guy doing the Ford commercials, looks like he might be an actor or singer. And no, I'm not about to cheat on FC.

DD, I thought maybe he was sitting back and watching to see how the situation was going to play out.

Vario- I understood that the car was presented as collateral on the debt, which was subsequently repaid, the car returned.

I think Ford guy is the horse guy that was interested in Slofia from FELS for while.

Does anyone have a clue as to what Damian has over Priscilla now and why he needs to threaten blackmail? There's no point since the Fr/Ed and Fer spy game is over now with Fer dumping Dam. Right?

Thanks for a fine recap Jody.

I was a little worried when Damian showed up at the garage to talk to Pris. She is under a lot of stress and he can be very volatile and for a mad moment I thought he might push/shove her and she might lose her balance/baby in the aftermath.

Good for Nanda for letting Barbie know that she knows something of what is going on with the Gonzo/Barbie marriage. Gave old Bi**h Barbie something to mull over.

I haven't seen last night's episodio yet but look forward to it thanks to Jody! Not looking forward to the Aurora abduction plot or to seeing Bebe's Mama crying over her precious bebe.

MEPS in AZ

I sure would like to not see Dam's mama every again. She is just awful. Almost as annoying as Abora. Again, why do people just burst into other people's offices? Why doesn't Gardenia stop them in the lobby? My boss would be upset if I just let anybody roam the office.

Thank you Jody for a great and speedy recap. I missed part of the show last night and It seems things are really heating up. Barbara has now become Damian's controller? Does that mean she is setting up her own mafia network opposite Artemio? This is going to be interesting. Damian's mom reminds of those parents who also see good in their mass murderer children. She is a trip. I am so proud of Fer for putting an end to this nonsense.
Hanna, md

Thank you Jody. It was a night of surprises for me. Pop Gonzo busting Camiiii in the garage. Why would he take the car THERE!? Oh right, not an ableminded person. Good.
Damian's mommie going strait to Fernanda! Like her tears are going to float her bebe back to safe luxury. And then Franco reveals the diary said I named the baby after my grandfather! Back to the branble bush geneology. Now I'm left with one question for Dimwatt Gonzo: What was your grandfather's name.
Did we misunderstand Jody? Did the diary say she named the baby after the the patron's grandfather?

Thanks, Jody, for the great recap.

Anonymous 10:12 - I think the hold that Dam still has over Priscilla is his threat that he'll tell her father, her brother, and Gonzo about her infidelity and the identity of her son-to-be.

What I think I understood is that Damian is now threatening to tell the rest of the Elizades and Pris's family if she doesn't find out how Fernanada found out about his embezzelment of the deceased rich lady.

What is Anibals plan? He must have some long range plan other than torture Prisila. I did think about his misuse of his wife's money so he maybe needs to replace some of her money before he kicks her out. Could that be his short term plan? But what does he get out of torturing her? He never loved her, the idea of a child or anything except the business. so what's he doing? Why does he feel a need to torture her?

Thanks, Jody. Love your bulleted scene by scene recap organization; it really helps me understand what I saw and gets it better organized in my mind.

Dorado Dave, I also thought Fr/Ed missed a great opportunity to appear just curious and interested in Artemio's story. But, he just sat there and stared like he was getting caught at something he shouldn't be doing, when a few well chosen words could have made the situation less tense.

It was great when Fer straight-up told Ursula that Dam and she were finished. Yep, Ursula is the kind of mother who would defend her bebe as a good boy no matter what the evidence is against his sorry butt.

Although never a good practice in real life, I'm still glad Fer had the nerve to storm into Babs' office with her six-guns blazing to defend Flor. Flor would have been out the door again if Fer had NOT barged in. It also seemed that scene was another line Fer was drawing in the sand against her evil madrastra.

Great recap, Jody!

Vlad's getting that crazy look in his eyes again. He'd do anything to save his gordita. Would that include violence against Damian? I mean, Damian is threatening his sweetie-pie, so why not?

They've never really made it clear whether the fact that Ana Gregoria and baby Artemio were thrown out into the rain, only to struggle for years with no support from the Eliazaldes, was the complete source of Artemio's rage, or if there was something more.

I'm not worried about Fr/Ed vs. Artemio. Fr/Ed has much more info. Artemio is suspicious, but keeps thinking and hoping that Franco is his ally in getting revenge on the Elizaldes. In some ways, Artemio is a teensy bit like his doddering half-brother. He's been trusting Barbara, and now he seems to be trusting Franco. When he left Franco and Lili, I think he thought about going right back in, but decided to trust them.

Thanks for the recap, Jody.

I think the Ford pitchman is Cristian de la Fuente. He's a hunk, and yes, he was in FELS.

Thanks, Jody. As to the Ford guy, I think it is Chtristian de Fuentes who played with bulls and was smitten by Sofia in FELS and danced on Dancing with the Stars. Ursula...yikes...I've known mothers like Ursula . They always believe that their ''bebes'' could nunca jamais do anything bad....and there in, my friends, lies the problem. Maybe Mother Superior should have told Damed to button his lip as well as his shirt. What a tool. This guy is headed for a fall, but who knows where or when. I've given up trying to figure out what is going to happen next, but I'll bet those breakaway promos of Fer and Fr'ed are just teasers and that we will never really get to enjoy Fer and Fr'ed on a beach blanket by the sea.

Susanlynn, I have accepted that those are the honeymoon shots...and that's all we will see. Well, we have seen his 'wet-dream', verdad?

I thought it was touching when Pris was going to say "my" baby, but then changed it to "our" baby when she was talking to Vlad ... at least she's acknowledging that he has some feelings too. I can't imagine how that plot line is going to turn out ... or any of the other plot lines for that matter. The Venus / Steve is muy estúpido por supuesto.

Thanks for the great recap, Jody.

Yes, that Cristián de la Fuente is some hunk. He was in FELS, but he has also acted in English. I've seen him in Brothers & Sisters and Ugly Betty. In his English speaking roles (speaks English well, by the way) he seems to be typecast as the drop-dead gorgeous hunk that one of the characters is briefly infatuated with. IMDB also said he's a reserve officer in the Chilean Air Force and flies in something called the Halcones, which sounds like our Blue Angels.

Hombre, if I remember correctly, Silvestre told Fr/Ed that he, as well as Soledad, knew Ana Gregoria and that after she was thrown out of the Elizaldes hacienda, she lived with her child like a wild animal in the hills and went crazy.

Rogelio Guerra is doing a fabulous job in his dual role. I actually forget it's the same actor when he's being malevolent Artemio.

From the avances, it sort of looks like Damn didn't get Aurora on the first try. We'll see. Sometimes they have red herring avances.

Anon at 1:23, I'm not so sure Pris said "our baby" because she's softening toward Vlad. I lean more toward she's trying to manipulate him to restrain Damian.

I guess it's never occurred to Dam or Barbie that Rubiel Villasana could have emailed Fernanda, or sent her a letter at Lactos, or come back by the office or one of the many people milling around in the lobby could have heard Rubiel Villasana screamed "Estafador!" could have contacted Fernanda. Or heck Villasana could have been at the cheese fair and found a flyer with Fernanda's number. Florecita and Franco are not the end all, be all of Rubiel Villasana.

Gak! Damian's mother is hideous. She looks like an old Joan Crawford that someone hit with a bus. She's the kind of woman that you look at and think, "Do I really love this guy enough to have her as a mother-in-law or should I just drink cyanide instead?"

For some reason I have the feeling that the Vlad & Pris relationship might work out. (I know, I'm nuts, but I'd just like to see Pris have somebody who loves her.)

The Ford Guy!! Whoo Hoo! He's second on my list of "kissables" right after FC.

Jody: Another excellent recap, thanks so much.

To xintperuvian and everyone else who's mentioned it, the hightlight of the wpisode was also the MS asking (as well as motioning for) Dam to button up. Not even Tom Jones in his heyday had his shirt unbuttoned quite to the waist. :)
And of course, Ned does resemble Ned Flanders. Excellent!

Hombre, I was also wondering what else is in Ana's diary, especially what their life was like after they were evicted. Did Ana meet an early and cruel demise? I hope everything is made clear. As you noted, there had to be more to the story.

Diane in MA

Anonymous~~But that would make SENSE, and we all know that telenovelas never do !!

Bonnet Churros~~~I laughed out loud at ''Like her tears will float her bebe back to safe luxury.'' Wellsaid.

Dear Ladies and gentlemen,
I just read that Cristian de la Fuente has been added to the cast of "Corazon Salvaje" with Eduardo Janez.
I think it's shaping up to be a real great telenovela.
I'm hoping it will keep us busy until Fernando appears in another
epic, which I believe are his forte.

Oops, sorry,
That should have read Eduardo Yanez.

Jody, thanks for the excellent recap.

Why was Mommy Dearest wearing black, she looks as if she were going to a funeral.

Granny Elizalde has the same evil, twisted mind as BBarbie.

For Christian de la Fuente fans, he is the love interest on In Plain Sight on Sunday nights.

rsk

I don't think Vlad is mentally healthy enough to love Pris. Why that dazed smile all the while Priscila was being humilliated, and he felt nothing for her, only his pride in haveing had sex with her producing sperm. Even now he is willing to go along with any body's plan that results in him posessing Gordita and bebe. There are moments of lucidity when he glimpses his beloved's worry but not her pain. Maybe his is the kind of love that leads to dismembering a loved one so that they can be with you all the time everywhere. Vlad's a crazy, do home to daddy Pris and watch the papers.

Wow! Alice, that sounds like one I don't want to miss for sure. Hopefully there will be lost of bathing and swimming.

So which novela is coming after MEPS? Yanez and Fuente or the one with "the blond guy." I can't remember his name ... played also in Pasión.

Pretty sure we'll see Sortilegio with William Levy starring after MEPS. They are still filming Corazon Salvaje and I don't know that they are even showing it in Mexico yet.

Dorado Dave, I was asking where the money came from to get the car back. Gonzo asked the same thing & Babs said sth, but I didn't get it.

In the diary, I thought Ana meant she named the baby Artemio after her abuelo.

Hopefully Damian will be in la cárcel before he can reveal anything to Pris's family & the Elizaldes.

Oh, Connie, lets hope! They are pirates, so shouldn't that require lots of getting wet and having to change? Is that one going to run in the spot after MEPS?

Jody, thanks for another good recap.
I was applauding from my chair when Fer walked out of Barbi's office while Barbi was still speaking.
I'm bemused by Vlad's endless supply of sweaters. And amused by
Mother Superior gesturing to Damian to button his shirt.
Yes, Gonzo, a wedding will be just the thing to make Cadmilo a mature, responsible gentleman.
La Paloma

Bonney- the diary entry said Ana Gregoria named the baby after her own grandfather, not Geronimo's.

-Vivi in DC

Vivi, uh-oh, I REAlly want to hear what was Gonzolo's abuelo's name. Geronomo treated Ana like a household convenience. Did his Father before him do the same? I'm thinking along the lines of extended family incest. If Ana and Geronimo shared a grandparent etc.

Molly, I hope it's on soon. It sounds promising. Pirates are much better than charros and those rooster shirts. They will have to take their shirts off to ring them out at least every once in awhile!

About the remake of Corazon Salvaje, I've been checking it out on youtube and discovered that this novela has been made several times , but the last version has a lot of fans who didn't want it remade again. Instead, they wanted that version aired again. Aracelys [?] is going to play both female parts which also has some people unhappy. I've only seen bits and pieces of the version that everyone loves starring Edith Gonzales on Youtube. However, I like Ed Yanez , and he has long hair and period costumes in this one , so I'm in. I saw part of the first episode of the new version with English subtitles on Youtube, and it was very good. The kid who played Ed Yanez's character as a boy looked like him. The acting was good , as were the costumes and scenery. I wonder if Christian de Fuentes is going to play the part of Ed's stepbrother.

Keep us posted susanlynn. That sounds like a good one.

Mmmmmm....priates......

It looks like a lot of actresses were considered for Corazon Salvaje including Silvia Navarro and Danna Somebody [Is that the actress who plays Monita in Gancho ?] Also Adela Noriego, Barbaraori, and Lucero . I guess that they are filming now in Vera Cruz. I am ready for an epoca. I hope that TBLMOE returns to a historical novela soon . He is so perfect for horseriding , tailcoatwearing , and swordfighting. [Although compared to watching Adrian Paul swordfighting skills in Highlander, FC seemed a little nervous during the swordfights in Alborada. Maybe the swordfighting could be replaced with kissing scenes. ...in the interest of safety.

Jody, thanks for another marvelous recap. Excellent details and beautiful, easy flow. Good work.

If Vlad doesn't go stark-raving, howl at the moon crazy before this is over, it will be a waste of a perfectly good potential lunatic. In every show I've seen him in, that has been his fate and he never disappoints.

Diana, I've speculated that Ana Gregoria is now practicing as a board certified primary provider family Bruja under the alias of Rosenda. She certainly fits old Sylvester's description. I have been wrong before, however.

Carlos

Interesting idea Carlos. I don't think I would have ever thought of that.

I'm going to give up on Amor Real and skip to Pasion I think.

Connie~~~Don't give up on Amor Real. I know that the dvd is very edited and chopped up, but it is such a good novela . If you're confused about something, just ask and I will try to clear up things that have been left out. Looks like Sebastion Zurita who is in ENDA is going to play Gabriel in Corazon Salvaje [Wild Heart]. Have you ever used the translator...very weird..it's English but it doesn't make sense.

I generally understand prety much what is going on but then it jumps to something else and I'm like...huh...

Regarding comments about why didn't Franco admit the truth of his identity to Fernanda when she implored to remove his mask, if he has one. He gave his reason to Flora when she asked why not tell Fernanda: She hates Eduardo Juarez and if she knew that Eduardo Juarez had pulled this "fast one" on her (ie the Franco identity), she would hate him even more and go absolutely ballistic and ruin everything. That, is, of course, his view. Viewerville (and Flora) believes that she would forgive him, but what do we know?

I wonder what happened with Pris's stolen money - why can't she counter Anibal's pressure with some of her own regarding his stealing her money??

I am fast forwarding through all the stuff with Steve and Lovely and Camilo. How did the writers come up with this garbage side plot?

Since Artemio was born into poverty, I wonder how he got all of his money?

It is surprising that Damian has never brought up his $3 Million dollars that Barbara never gave him. He would seem to need it now more than ever so that he could go to a South Pacific Island.

Bonney Churros,
Regarding Vlad: "Eww, Eww, Eww! I hope he doesn't end up a psycho killer. We have had enough of them around here in the NW. I don't want to see any more in my "entertainment"... that would be awful!

I've seen Corazon Salvaje translated 2 ways
Wild at heart
Savage Heart

Jody - THANK YOU for the recap. I'm out of town (in
Boston) and will miss the rest of this week. (wah!)

It looks like all the TN's have an Aurora. I have En Nombre del Amor on & every time I see it a young girl is sobbing, I think her name is Paloma.

I never did get the stolen car side plot. Probably because I missed several capitulos a while back. Can someone fill me in on that. Thx.

I've watched all the episodes & I don't get it either. Have no idea why they just wouldn't give it to Gonzo & tell him how it got there.

I can understand them wanting to make Camilo sweat buuut?
