My thanks to all the MEPS recappers!
REMINDER: Sortilegio starts tomorrow. I'd still like another volunteer to step up and take at least half the Mondays (I'd rather not have an every-week slot...)

And thank you, all you recappers, for a job well done. I bow to you... er ... y'all.(That is "Southern" for ustedes)
The DH looked at me and commented that now that MEPS is over, maybe he'll have his wife back. HaHahahahahahaaaa Took him a minute to think about what he just said, and realized I'd probably get hooked on the next one. Bless his heart!
I give a standing ovation to everyone.
Jody :)
I just finished reading all the recaps and comments and would like to thank you all for a fabulous job on perhaps the most satisfying ending that I have yet seen. I guess it all boiled down to a resentful rancorous old fart who had nothing more worthwhile to do than take 15+ years to try to destroy a family that wasn't even aware of his existence. Made for a rollicking good ride, however. It prompted some lively discussions and speculations. The Elizalde family made the sitdown family dinner into riotous entertainment and their parties were real events. Good to see Lil free and happy once more.

I'm still not sure if I like this format any better than the one where separate threads are maintained, but having the recaps is nice. If I'd have my druthers, I'd like to have a combination of both - where a recap is posted and then people can have respnses organized by groups of threads organized in "conversations" - but I guess that will be the next "generation" of some blog software out there.
I'll be leaving telenovelas for awhile. US tv looks like they will have one of the best fall lineups in years - when one throws in all of the cable tv programming, as well as the CW network - and I can't watch all of the new shows and a telenovela at the same time.
Adios and Buena Suerte!!
Silverfox
Thank you from the very depths of my heart. Everything was benign. Thank you again for being my unsuspecting support group.
These shows would have been unavailable to a lot of us due to the language barrier. televisa owes all of you big time.
Till next time.

"gracias" to all who comment. You are a clever, intelligent, funny and compassionate group. I would love to invite you all to my house for a drink! (I can just imagine the living discussions!) I am not wild about the next tn, but will stick around for the excellent company.

Mil gracias for this site and all the great recaps. You guys are wonderful! You take something already fun and turn it into a blast. I can't believe how much my spanish is improving through all this fun!! I don't know about you but I thought this "grand finale" was one of the best I've seen. Not just fluff but really filled with action and more action. I loved it! Thanks again for all your hard work. It is appreciated.
Now onto the next one.

I've been checking in around here on and off, but not posting. I knew if I got started posting I'd never stop and I'm studying for the CLA Exam like a maniac.
Also, just to give you guys an update, my husband has been back from Mexico with his Legal Permanent Resident Card in hand! Success! Thank you guys once again for all the support and encouragement you gave me during that fiasco!
Has anybody heard from Cheryl? How is she doing?
Comments on the MEPS finale:
I could NOT stop thinking about you guys the whole time! When I saw Eddie in the motorcycle jacket the first thing I thought of was Power Ranger! And of course, reading the recaps, what do I find? The same description. I love you guys! Poppin' wheelies was just too much for me - I was literally ROFL! Hubby too!
The Barbie-Q ending was gross but fitting. I could not believe she did that to herself. Man, Lucero really did a great job. She's much better as a villain than as the nice girl a la Alborada.
I'm not sold on Cadmilho's rehabilitation.
What up with Vlad the Impregnator and Prisci? We never really got to see them together.
Miguel and Lili - weird combination.
Gardenia and the Naco sittin' in a tree - K-I-S-S-I-N-G.
Did anyone happen to notice that in the last few episodes Esteve all of a sudden became a gringo again? OK, and Esteve taking the phone call from Fer while they're loading Eddie on the plane? If he was so "grave" weren't they in a hurry?
The comment about Eddie flying the hot air balloon because the space shuttle was busy was a CLASSIC!!!!! Love it!
Thanks again you guys! Not sure if I'll have time or am willing to watch Sortilegio - I have a problem with Jacqueline Bracamontes "horse teeth". The only reason I want to see it is because Carla Estrada is the executive director. I love her novelas.
I'll be checking in periodically, though, and I do hope to come back one day (after the CLA) as a full time recapper!
Take care all!

I so appreciate all of your hard work. Family matters have intervened and prevented me from participating in the blog in the last two months but I have so enjoyed your recaps. Thanks again to all, with a special nod to 5ft.
Melinama, huge kudos to you for creating and maintaining the blog. It has grown into something quite amazing, don't you think? Buen hecho!
