Wed Dec 9 = Un Gancho al DVD player
My turn to be a spatnik. So I return from a late dr appt to find my DVD jammed up and no recording. No worries, I finally found the right download episode so I'll work on throwing something together for you folks today as time permits. Hang in there Capn, and anyone in early time zones I know you like your gancho with your morning coffee. I on the other hand would like to gancho my DvD player!!! :>)
Ok I think I found the episode again, but now I have to wait to recap it. Oh well.
So far we have a very uneven lucha match not going terribly well for our heroes, and a jealous Gabi spying on Sal in the restaurant. Interesting.

Well, now I can't seem to find the download and I'm hung to redownload it...might be a bit longer. Feel free to chat about details though. I did see that Estre was cornering the masked Fury (aka Aldo this time) that will be interesting!!!
My thoughts on last night's episode...
Luchadors: hooray for our side! Aldo was so obviously proud of his dad that he almost got attacked by one of the bad guys but Nieves fought him off with her cow-purse. Aldo also gloated a little to Estrella but for a kid I thought he maintained pretty well. I enjoyed the fight and thought Beto's posturing was hilarious.
Lovers:
1)Looks like Beto and Xime are teaming up to make Coni and Rolu very jealous. Xime had Costeno wheel Rolu home so she could have dinner with her "amante" Beto and pretend to make kissy face in front of Mau and Coni. This ought to be good.
2)Estrella followed Furia home, meanwhile Aldo snuck into the Furia hideout so he could play dress-up with daddy's costumes. When Estrella paid a surprise visit who should answer the door but son of Furia. Will Aldo be able to pull off the charade? I'm getting warm just thinking about it.
3)Gabi and Sal are bound to have a misunderstanding over his 'date' with Jacqui.
4)Coni is about to cause big problems for Monita and Mau if she manages to pull off her pregnancy scam. Will Xime really let her get away with it?

I wouldn't mind too much getting a little himented myself, I must say.
I love how detail-packed every scene is. They don't just stand there saying their lines to each other like some shows tend toward. Best racy moment last night was when Estrella said something about wanting to feel the Fury inside or something suggestive like that, and Aldo pulled his cape around him. And this is in the family hour.

No kidding. I wish I was better at picking up on all the double-entendres. Luckily Estrella is so suggestive with her body language that it really helps my comprehension. I think Ximena also does that really well even though sometimes she pretends not to "get" her own jokes.
Why doesn't that surprise me Julia? Maybe I will have to try that technique in tonight's recap. Something tells me I might get some practice.
