Episode 123

We start this episode where Gabriel is throwing out his rude and threatening house guest Carloca.

Paloma comes up behind her hearing a little bit of how rude she is with Gabriel.Paloma ask her what she is doing here.

Carloca angry at being told to get lost by Gabriel tells Paloma to let's go.Paloma refuse to go and tells Carloca that she isn't going anywhere.

This infuriates her she ask Paloma what is she thinking by taking classes with Gabriel. Gabriel interjects his two cents and makes the mistake of calling Carloca Senora.

Loca Carloca becomes even more furious and stresses to him to call her Senorita.Gabriel laughs at her craziness and this makes Carloca tell him that her niece will not be taking painting lessons from him.

Gabriel confronts carloca and tells her i don't believe you know how talented your niece is. Anyway it is her life.Paloma agrees with Gabriel and tells Carloca she won't permit her to decide her life regarding this.

Carloca being angry already physically pushes Paloma out of Gabriel house, Gabriel looks on alarmed and worried for Paloma.


RoMEna is walking alone when she comes upon Sandra who calls out to her.Sandra ask how RoMEna is doing and starts to walk away when RoMEna brings up the graduation.

RoMEna tells sandra how her husband, mother and father in law will be coming with her.Sandra then gushe how her family and Gabriel are coming for her.

RoMEna then says not the handsome guy who is Paloma's painting instructor Sandra says yes him and shares girl talk about how handsome Gabriel is.

Carloca after forcibly removing Paloma from Gabriel house. they continue to argue out in the street.Carloca calls Gabriel a devil and a wolf.

Paloma ask why she doesn't want her to be happy at all.Carloca ask are you interested in him, Paloma tells her that Gabriel is her instructor that's all.

Carloca tries to convince Paloma that she will suffer because of him.

Dario worriedly paces back and forth in the woman editor's office.The editor ask Dario is Angelica really lying. Dario response is you don't believe me.


The editor say Angelica is sure that this is her book. Dario says no this book is his he insist that it's not hers.The editor tells Dario about the projects she has lined up for him..

Paloma is talking to Gabriel about Carloca and how over protective she is with her.

Paloma cell phone is beeping Gabrielask why she is ignoring it. She tells him it's Emiliano and she doesn't want to talk to him.

She lets Gabriel listen to the message Emiliano left her.Gabriel listen to Emiliano talking about it's something serious about PJC.

Gabriel tells her the message was about PJC expulsion from the church both are in shock.

Diana is combing her wig while she gossip with Inez looking on.Diana says how do like my new look, Inez sarcastically says it's beautiful.

Inez excitedly tells Diana she discovered who her secret admirer is.Diana quickly brushes this aside and talks about her revenge on Camila.

She tells Inez about Samuel, Camila's ex and how since she tried to take Rafael from her she will get with Samuel.

Someone needs to Diana the joke and revenge will be on her. Inez looks at her scatter brained friend with worry.

Camila and Monica are talking about her brother, Camila then ask Monica and Meche about what to buy for her wedding dress.

Camila brings up RoMEna and how she would like to have a happy wedding unlike RoMEna's.Monica urges Camila the most important thing she think about is her and Orlando.
 

Orlando gets a phone call from his associate in Houston, telling him he would like to come to house and speak to him in person.

Orlando wonders how he will tell Camila this news but he thinks since she agreed to become his wife she will be happy for him.

Emiliano and German talk about whether he has told Paloma about PJC. Emiliano said no but i left a message on her cell.

German tell Emiliano since he married RoMEna how Paloma doesn't want anything to do with him.Emiliano warns German to be careful of Carloca.

German meanwhile thinks to himself how much money Paloma has for inheritance, he recalls how he made copies of Paloma's inheritance papers.

German believes he has the upper hand on Carloca's control of Paloma.

Gabriel and Paloma come out together after her class is over with him. Paloma tells him how she is afraid when people get close to her they end up dying.

Gabriel points out to her how Emiliano is still alive and that she just has to live in the moment.

PJC is sitting by himself while the guy who looks like Frankenstein watches him, PJC ask whats the matter. PJC tells him he wants to be alone.

The inmate who attacked PJC comes over to taunt him,he then gets up into PJC face. PJC cellmate defends him and tells the guy to leave PJC alone.

PJC cellmate and the guy get into a fight, PJC cellmate gets beat by the guy who looks like Frankensten. PJC gets up and hits Frankenstein over the head with his food tray.

They are separated by the guards but not before the good Padre got in a couple of more punches.

Frankenstein again threatens PJC and PJC tells him he is not scared of him.

Carloca is walking down the street when Camila comes out her store and sees her. Camila ask her if she knows what's going on with PJC.

Carloca says what do i know about him, it's all over town about the attack. Camila says you don't believe that surely, Carloca says nothing surprises me.

Camila ask her do you believe that Macarena would fall in love with a man like that.Carloca ask her what do you know.

Camila tells her that i know Cris was the great love of Mac's life, Carloca uncomfortable with hearing this says isn't your life already complicated enough for you to worry about something more.

Camila tells Carloca how she thought of Macarena like a sister,Carloca tells her to please stop talking about this person who is a murdered.

Carloca tells her how he doesn't belong in the church and how people don't have have any morals and how she sacrifice her marriage.

Camila listen to this speech in shock.

Luz and Rafael are walking along holding hands, Luz tells him how happy she is.

RoMEna is trying on dresses but they don't fit her because she is pregnant, she complains to the sales woman.

The sales woman says these dresses will not fit her because she is pregnant.She suggest she tries some maternity dresses and RoMEna tells her no way.

Camila tells Carloca forgive me but don't bring up Samuel and me.Camila tells her how Samuel is her ex husband and she doesn't want him near her.

Carloca taunts her about her failed marriage to Samuel and how RoMEna has turn out as a daughter.She walks off leaving Camila's mouth wide open at her nerve.

RoMEna comes out the shop empty handed and sees Rafael kissing Luz from across the street from her.
 

RoMEna can't believe what she is seeing, she takes out her phone and calls her mother.

Camila is concern and ask if anything is wrong, RoMEna says not for me but maybe for you. Camila tells her everything is alright with her at this moment.

RoMEna ask are you sure, Camila ask RoMEna what she is talking about talking about. RoMEna gleefully tells her mother how she saw Rafael with a much younger woman.

Way much younger woman stresses RoMEna and Camila's mouth once again is left wide open in shock.

Inez serves her secret admirer some coffee,they talk nervously towards each other.He shyly ask Inez for a kiss and she says yes.

Samuel is in his hotel watching tv when he gets a call from Diana, Samuel tells her he didn't think she would remember his number.

Diana tells him she just wants to talk, Samuel says i didn't think you were interested and let's talk tonight. Diana eagerly accepts this invitation.

Samuel talks to himself about how he needs money and since he can't get Carloca attention.

Diana excitedly thinks she is getting her revenge on Camila.

Emiliano and German are talking together, when Gabriel comes in with Paloma. Paloma looks away from them being uncomfortable, she thinks Gabriel for coming with her since he is so busy with his work.

They say goodbye to each other and Gabriel nods at Emiliano and German while German gives a not so happy nod back.

German remarks on why she showed up with her instructor, Paloma tells him that she didn't wsant to bother Emiliano.Emiliano walks by her steaming with jealousy.

Paloma wonders about why he's acting like that.

Angelica is packing her suitcase to leave when she gets a knock on her hotel door.She opens it without asking who it is,Dario is there Pushing his way in.

He tells her it's necessary for them to talk,Angelica tells him he has a lot of nerve. How he has mess up her life and future Dario ask her to forgive him.Angelica ask him why hasn't he done everything to her already.

Emiliano paces back in forth in front of Paloma looking at her angrily. Paloma getting fed up ask him what his problem is.

Emiliano tells her every time he sees her that jerk is with you, Paloma responds you're msarried to RoMEna not me.

Emiliano jealously tells her there is nothing going on between him and RoMEna. He and Paloma go back and forth in their argument, then German walks up to them and tells them that they can go in.

Angelica ask what happen Dario what question does he have to ask about her book.Dario tells her things that they could work together on the book.

He'll permit her to help him with the book and so that she can forgive him. Angelica fuming tells him one day he is going to die, Dario ask her not to say that.

Dario tries to tell her he loves her,Angelica tells him she doesn't believe anything that comes out of his mouth.Dario tells her that the book has his name on it.

Angelica tell him she will soon tell everyone about what he did to her,Dario scared grabs her arm.Angelica tells him to let go of her.

Rodolfo is visiting Natalia he gives her a picture of her daughter Sagario.Natalia tells him how German has helped much and Rodolfo tells her she should get another lawyer.

Natalia begs Rodolfo to help get her out of here she has to be with her daughter.
 

The Bishop discusses PJC with Padre Mateo,Mateo says he understands the church position.PJC has done so much with helping people and those who had drug problems.

The Bishop explains why PJC is terminated and the church cannot allow people with bad personalities to lead others.

The phone rings and Mateo answers a woman ask to speak to the Bishop.Bishop cannot believe what he has been told.He tells Mateo how the news is becoming so public it might go international.He warns Mateo that he knows the significance of this.

We see someone using a motorized wheelchair, bringing it up to a open laptop sitting on a desk.

Elderly woman looks at the screen focuses on the names of PJC and Natalia.

PJC sits in the waiting area for Paloma and Emiliano, he then ask Paloma just to call him Juan Cris.

He no longer is a Padre, Paloma whines you will always be a father to me.Emiliano ask how he is doing, JC tells him he is dealing with it.

Paloma whines about the injustice,she says she knows he is innocent.JC then takes Paloma's hand and places it in Emiliano's.

He tells them how he wants them to be together and not separated, they both look at each other not sure of what to say.

Sandra is walking along when Gabriel calls to her from his suv, he ask where she is going she says to his house.

He ask why she says to give him his invitation to her graduation.Gabriel then ask Sandra about the deaths in Paloma's life.

Sandra tells him if he buys her coffee she will tell him everything about Paloma's great love.

Rufi cleaning Paloma's room talks to Mac's picture about PJC.She tells her how innocent PJC is and if she can help get him free.

Paloma reassures Cris of his innocence and tells him that he will be free someday.He thanks her for coming and kisses her goodbye.

Emiliano gets up to leave but Cris calls him back to tell him to be very careful of Carloca and how dangerous she is.

Sandra is telling Gabriel all about RoMEna, Emiliano and Paloma.She ask who do you love, Gabriel seems uncomfortable with this question.

Gabriel tells her that love can never be for him.


Camila stands outside her shop going over RoMEna words about Rafael.While Luz and Rafael happily walk along hand in hand.

Monica then confronts Camila about what is affecting her that Rafael is dating someone younger or that he is just seeing another woman.

Monica tells her she doesn't really love Orlando if she is this upset with Rafael dating another woman. This gives Camila something to seriously think about.

Episode 124

We pick up where the first episode of tonight's doubleheader left off.Monica confronting Camila about her true feeling for Rafael.

Emiliano comes out after being warned by Cris to be very careful of Carloca and how dangerous she is.He ask German where Paloma is.German tells him she took a taxi back into town.

Emiliano ask German about carloca and why Cris suspects her of being dangerous.Paloma walks along sadly remember how Cris put her hand in Emiliano's.

Emiliano is mooning over Paloma at the prison.

Carloca receives a delivery of flowers,she then nastily sends the delivery guy away without a tip.

We learn the flowers were sent from Samuel who is waiting outside.Samuel ask Carloca to give him a opportunity and Carloca gives him back his flowers.

Carloca tells him she doesn't want him near her,she warns him how she will tell Camila how he wants to be with her.She then flings the card he gave with the flowers in his face, and walks away.

Eugenio is hugging his son Gabriel, he ask after Luz and Gabriel tells him how Luz is very busy with the new guy she is seeing.

Gabriel then tells Eugenio about his encounter with Paloma's aunt Carloca, and how she is trying to ruin their plans for Paloma.

Diana is gossiping with another woman about Samuel.

Jc talks to his cellmate, who begs Cris to be very careful, Cris sees another inmate come out of cell. Cris ask him why he was in there. the guy does not answer and walks away.

Cris goes in to look trying to find out why this other inmate was in his cell.Frankenstein looking inmate sneaks up on Cris from behind.

He takes out prison made knife , Cris is looking to see if anything was taken by the other inmate. he turns around and is stabbed by the Frankenstein looking inmate.

He thrusts the knife several times into Cris , who then slowly falls down the wall. Frankenstein stealthy leaves and gets back into his cell unseen.

Cris cell mate comes back and finds Cris stabbed and calls for the guards to help.

Carloca is yelling at Paloma and about how people will talk about her. Paloma tells her she doesn't care,Carloca is telling her but i want your happiness that is why i am so concern for you.

Paloma mentions PJC and this distracts Carloca who wants to know anything concerning Cris.

Carloca ask if she has talked to Cris and Paloma tells her how Cris was expelled from the church.

Crazy Loca now thinks to herself he is free now for me, she also manages to keep her smirk from showing in front of Paloma.

The guard ask the inmates if they seen who stabbed Criswhile he is being put on a stretcher. Cris's cell mate looks at the Frankenstein looking guy.

Cris's cell mate ask one of the attendants if Cris is going to die he's says it doesn't look like it but his condition is very critical.

It'll get more critical than that if you don't get a move on and get him to a hospital.
 

RoMEna is talking on the phone about her father, she ask the person isn't he in Mexico and tells them to leave a message that she called.

RoMEna gets off the phone and starts to call someone else when Emiliano comes home.She's calling Samuel and leaves a message for him asking why he's not in Mexico.

Emiliano overhears this part of the conversation, he ask her what question does she have to ask her father.

RoMEna tells him only about the furniture for the baby's room.Emiliano brings up the check she wrote him to get the furniture.

RoMEna then gets defensive because she does not like to be told the truth.She says her father would not take her money and use it for anything else. She does not like how he thinks about her father.

Emiliano tells her ok goodnight,but RoMEna calls him back.Emiliano tells her off and goes to bed.

RoMEna does not seem to be happy about the bed she made, she touches her portruding stomach sadly.

Samuel is in a restaurant and listens to his message from RoMEna,he thinks to himself about the control of her mother.

Smiling thinks because of his grandchild he got money for the furniture he was supposed to buy for it's room.

Orlando is looking at the invitation in bed while Camila takes some clothes out of the drawer.

Camila brings up his business partners in Houston, Orlando says yes you have to come with me next time i go to Houston.

Camila tells him how she has to get her visa updated.Camila tells him how she doesn't want to leave RoMEna. Orlando tells her that he will be her husband and that he will need her too.

Orlando then tries to kiss her but Camila tells she is tired.She gets up and leaves and Orlando is wondering what is wrong.

Rafael and Luz are doing some type of back thing in bed.

Diana and looks like the Mexico version of ex wives club are playing cards, drinking and gossiping.Samuel walks up and joins them and he and Diana flirt with each other.

RoMEna is having a sleepless sleep in bed, Emiliano sits in their living room thinking about paloma running into the arms of Gabriel.

Paloma is in bed thinking of Emiliano and he still sits in his living room thinking about her.

RoMEna is tossing and turning not get any sleep at all from her misery.

Eugenio ask Gabriel about Paloma who tells him that Carloca is a force to be reckon with.Eugenio calls Carloca Senora, Gabriel stresses how she insist to be called Senorita.

Eugenio ask how his son is really feeling, Gabriel says tired.
 

Eugenio is worried about other people finding out. Gabriel tells him only PJC knows of his secret.

Carloca looks at a picture of Macarena she crazily tells the picture how only she can save Cris from his fate now.

This will make them be together she puts down her picture and picks up the engagement ring Cris gave to Mac.

She gloatingly puts on the ring saying know one will ever know of the work she done.

The attendant from prison is telling a doctor about Cris and how critical his injury is.

The doctor ask the name of the patient and is surprised it's PJC.

Samuel walks wacky Diana home, Diana informs him how she is alone now slimy Samuel lies to Diana about how young she looks. Diana eager for attention soaks this lie up,Samuel leans and kisses her goodnight.

It seems Samuel charm is working wonders with Diana because she swoons from his little peck on the side of her mouth.Stumbles off after saying goodnight to him.

German is walking down a lot of stairs when someone calls him on his cell.They inform German about how Cris was Stabbed.

German ask what hospital is PJC at.He runs off in a hurry.

Rufi is cleaninng in Carloca's study she puts the papers on top of the desk in the drawer. When she sees a ring box and opens it up.Rufi recognizes the ring as the one Inaki gave Paloma for their engagement.

Rufi then puts the ring in her smock pocket.

Paloma is walking and laughing with Sandra and Liliana, Sandra tells them about how she invited Gabriel to their graduation.

They each talk about who they are going with and Paloma says how she is going alone.Liliana tells her she can't go alone.Liliana would like nothing better than to make RoMEna look jealous.

She feels so sorry for poor Emiliano to be married to her.Both Sandra and Liliana keep telling Paloma she has to bring a date, sandra ask her maybe she should ask gabriel set her up with one of his friends.

Paloma gets upset tells them she has Rufi and Carloca in her life and that she does not need anyone else.She walk off upset and leaving Liliana and sandra puzzled by her reaction.


Paris, France we see the elderly lady in the wheelchair with her male guard companion buyibg to tickets to go to Mexico first class.

Rufi comes into Paloma's room to check the ring she found in Carloca desk drawer with the one Paloma has.

Rufi takes out the ring and compares them.Rufi can't believe how much alike the rings are.She says out loud their the same ring, but why are they the same ring.

The only significance of this is Carloca but what she ask out loud.


Joel is in the office when camila comes knocking on the door.Joel is surprised by Camila's presence, Camila wants to know about what happen at the convention.

She starts to ask about the woman with Rafael, Joel tells her how she is in Real Del Monte now.

Camila ask who she is,Joel begans to tell but Rafael walks in with Luz right at that moment.
 

Camila looks at both of them most especially Rafael, who ask her why is she here.Camila politely ask Rafael how he is doing, he says fine.

He then introduces her to Luz, they exchanged handshakes while Luz says nice to meet you.An uncomfortable silence grows in the room.

Luz then makes a excuse to Joel that she would like to have a tour of the place.Luz tells Camila how she is considering being a new partner with Rafael and Joel.

Camila has a flashback from the convention when she saw Luz with a very smiling Rafael.Rafael tells Luz about how Camila designs were what made his ceramics popular.

Luz acts impressed and congratulates Camila, she then reminds Joel of the tour again.

Camila clearly upset tells Rafael that she has to go,she leaves bvut comes back in after a couple of seconds.

Camila is very jealous she ask how could he deceive her like this, Rafael defends himself by saying you left me remember for Orlando.

They go back and forth and finally Camila leaves for good.

Orlando is coming into his office when he gets a call from miserable RoMEna who tells him she looking for her mother.

RoMEna then tells him how Rafael now has a very young woman he is dating he much younger than her mother.She ask if he speaks to her mother tell her she's looking for her.Orlanndo can't believe it.

Eugenio and Gabriel come to Misery Manor together, Rufi ask who are they here to see. Eugenio replies Carloca, Rufi ask Gabriel if he remembers her he says no i'm sorry.

She says its ok i remember you when PJC got locked up she then ask them to come in and offers refreshments to both of them but they decline.

Rufi informs Carloca of her unexpected guests she tells her they are in the living room waiting for her.

Carloca sighs heavily and says ok then tells Rufi to leave.German calls Carloca with the news about PJC.

Carloca is shaken and stirred about the news of Cris being stabbed and how critical his condition is.

She starts asking for Cris not to die please don't die.Carloca totally distracted with the news about Cris tells Eugenio and Gabriel she can't talk right now with them.

They both ask her what is wrong carloca tells them very agitated how Cris is in the hospital and she has to go see him.

She then leaves her guests,Rufi comes out and ask what happen to Carloca they both tell about Cris.Rufi does the sign of the cross.

M.S. is in her office talking to Liliana and Paloma and then she gets a phone call. Liliana leans over towards Paloma asking why she M.S. about PJC being thrown out of church.

Angelica shakily comes into the office where she is greeted by first Emiliano and the Orlando.

Orlando tells what a miracle she is and to never leave them like that again. Angelica starts to tell them both about her problem.

Emiliano gets a phone call from German telling about Cris stabbing.
Eugenio is walking with Gabriel talking about Carloca.

Eugenio keeps calling her Senora Carloca, Gabriel tells him not to call that but Senorita instead she might kill you he jokes with his father.

Eugenio then ask Gabriel about how he feels towards Paloma. Orlando tells Emiliano since Angelica is here that they both should go see about Cris.Emiliano tells them he will go look for Paloma at her school.

Angelica urges them both to hurry and go, she then talks to herself about how Dario's lie with time will be revealed.

Gabriel tells his father about how talented Paloma is, and Eugenio ask if Gabriel is in love with her.
 

Gabriel quickly shoots down that question he then tells his father that they need to go to Paloma's school. To tell her about PJC.

Eugenio looks at his son again.

Rodolfo and the doctor who was there when Cris was admitted to the hospital talk to a nurse about Cris's condition. She tells them that Cris lost a lot of blood.The doctor tells Rodolfo about how incredible the violence is in jail.

Paloma walks out Laughing with Liliana, Emiliano is waiting for them.They both ask him what he is doing here, Liliana brings up how RoMEna will act if she finds out.

Emiliano ignores her and tells them about PJC and that he's in grave condition.Paloma ask what, she can't believe what he just told her.

Just then Gabriel walks up with Eugenio and tells Paloma the same and that he will take her to go see PJC. Emiliano tells Gabriel not to bother her she's going with him.

Eugenio tells Paloma he is sorry for what happened,he tells her how Gabriel told him how important PJC is to her.

Emiliano tells Eugenio that he respects him and that Paloma is going with him.

Eugenio sees how his son is reacting to Emiliano marking his territory, he realizes Gabriel may have fallen in love with Paloma.

Gabriel then ask Paloma to decide who she wants to go with Emiliano or with him looks between them.

So ends episode 124.

Anon, thank you so much for your recap. When Carloca goes on one of her rants, I haven't a clue as to what she is saying.

Did Inez tell her suitor that she had been a cabaret singer before the kiss? If so, there goes Diana's big secret that she has always held over poor Inez.

Actually, Inez did tell her friend about her singing in a cabaret, and he said, is that all? She told him that's all, and he really thought it was nothing.

It seems like La Loca is being too obvious about PJC after she pretended in the begining not to care about him and to suspect he was guilty. Hope that will catch up with her. It is still so hard to watch her get her way all the time. I can't imagine what punishment would be enough for her crimes.

I don't like Orlando lying to Camila, thinking he can force her to move once they are married.

Wonder who the older woman is in the wheelchair - someone related to PJC?
 

I actually thought that could be someone related to Mac and Carloca. Was it ever said what happened to their mother? It always seem like they talk about the father. Maybe their mother, maybe an aunt? Perhaps she is there to unveil the truth about the death of Mac's and Carlota's father? Enough musing...

Thank you, Anon recapper. It covered everything we need to know.

I'd like to add thie little detail about the Carloca-Gabriel encounter, because it says much about Gabriel: When Carloca says, It's Senorita... he responds something to the effect, I can see why...that raises her anger even more.

Also, in the prison-visit by Emiliano and Paloma, he begins by calling her hija and then corrects himself and says he no longer has the right to say that. That's when Paloma says she will always call him Padre, because that is how she thinks of him. When they get ready to leave and PJC calls Em back, it is also to beg him to look after Pal because he can't do it anymore from prison.

The lady in the wheelchair was looking at a newspaper picture of PJC, with a caption about him, so I think she's connected to him, rather than Mac & Cheesy-Loca. That is, unless she knows of a connection between PJC and the two sisters.

I LOL'd when Carloca indignantly tells Gabriel to call her Senorita and he goes "oh I can see why". LOL again. That was so funny. I thought it was sweet when Inez confessed her "sorrid past" about her being a cabaret singer to Juanco and he said no wonder you sound so beautiful when you sing at church. Sorry i missed the part of when inez told Juancho about her past. I enjoyed Gabriel smirk when Carloca kept insisting he address her as Senorita.

In someways from what I have seen Paloma is acting a little like that herself. Especially when she got upset with Liliana and Sandra, when they were just telling her she should bring a date to Graduation party.

As for Camila wow maybe RoMEna does have some of her personality after all.She has some nerve being jealous of Luz because she too frighten of what Diana was saying to people about her.

As for the mystery elderly lady i don't know if you guys are noticing the change in the opening credits. She is first shown with Cris standing behind her in her wheelchair.

Then she is shown being very warm towards Eugenio giving him a sort of hug.Hopefully she will shed some light on La Loca.

I wonder if she's related to Cris in some way, because when she saw the article on the computer she looked very concerned.

Rufi needs to be careful but i'm glad she found Inaki's ring.German i hope becomes another victim for Carloca he's just so sleazy.
 

What a great way to start the new year with two very excellent recaps. Thank you, Anon for helping out. Yes, I can't figure out why they think they need all that music and effects (drums, cymbals etc) over the actors' voices. The sound and music directors/editors need to be canned.

Real del Monte is a super angst ridden town. Only Ines and her suitor seem happy at this point. I love that Rufi found more evidence against Carloca when she realized there were two identical rings. I hope she can deduce that Carloca had a cheap facsimile made and kept the valuable ring, Rufi knows a lot of info about Pal and Loca and needs to tell someone but I don't think that is likely at this point in the novela.

I hope Pal looks like a knockout at the graduation as Lilian suggests and doesn't wear a drab homely beige dress as in the past. That would put Em and Romi in their places.

I was thinking that perhaps the lady in the wheelchair might be related to Natalia if not Chris.

Can't wait for Monday and it seems miss La Loca may come unhinged from her handiwork. I can't wait to see how she acts when she gets to the hospital concerning Cris.

Let's hope someone wakes up and takes note of her behavior.

I want to see what Angelica has in store for Dario.
 

Thanks for the recap, Anon. I enjoyed it very much. I was worried we wouldn't have a recap for these episodes especially because there were so many things going on.

I was glad to see Camila get so upset. I like her but poor Rafa has been through a whole lot lately.

Samuel is a disgrace.

Actually, what Dario said to Angelica was that he wanted to work with her on his next book. What a rat! He made it sound like a peace offering. Of course he knows there won't be a second excellent book for him unless he can con Ange into working with him.

What Monica was talking to Camila about was the upcoming meeting between Joel and her child, who has Down Syndrome.

Can't remember if it was last night's episode or the one before, but I was DYING for Paloma to pick the sexy red dress instead of that old lady beige thing with the fake flowers on it. I wonder if we'll EVER see her looking sexy?

I can't believe Romina's nastiness toward her own mother. All she's ever done is sacrifice for her and love her. Ro couldn't wait to tell her about Rafa holding hands with Luz, knowing full well that it would hurt. At the same time, I agree that Camila has some nerve yelling at Rafa because he's found someone. He pleaded with her, but she only cared about what people thought about her seeing a married man.

I feel sure Orlando's wedding plans aren't going to work. Somehow Camila is going to find out that he plans to marry her and THEN break it to her that they're moving to the US. The dummy seems to think that once a ceremony has been held she'll do whatever her hubby wants.

I hope Rufi mixes up the rings and gives the cheap one to Carloca!
 

Thanks for the great recaps you have been doing Anon. Watching the opening credits, the wheelchair women was with PJC and later it showed her with Eugenio. Not sure who she is associated to. Hmm, hah, perhaps she is the mother of both PJC and Eugenio. They would be half brothers. :) The way some of these TNs go, it wouldn't surprise me... But... I doubt she is that. :)
So far, Eugenio seems to be a pretty nice guy. It's the nicest I have ever seen Cesar Evora. Times I've seen him in the past, he has sometimes played some characters that have some goodness, but not as much as I've seen so far here. :)
 

I agree, Jeff. I'm really enjoying César as a good guy. The last time I saw him as a good guy was in El Privilegio de Amar. He may have been a good character in TNs that I missed. But he was bad to the bone in the ones I saw. It's also nice to see him clean shaven. He's had beards and/or moustaches in the ones where he's a baddie.
 

Novelera i was thinking of that same novela with Cesar El Privilegio De Amar. I think there's another one where he was a good guy in with Susan Gonzales but i can't remember the name right now.

I thought the dress that Paloma choose was the brown looking drab dress she was showing Rufi. I saw that hanging in the background when she was in the store with Liliana.

I said there's no way she would choose that red dress but i hope she get something better than she has right now.

RoMEna so miserable with Emiliano plus she's realizes what her father is really about. I'm not surprised she's lashing out even though Camila nor Orlando deserve her nastiness.

I wonder what Gabriel secret is.Yes Rafael deserves to be happy too after putting up with Diana for that many years.

I wonder if Orlando ever did read Angelica manuscript before she gave it to Dario.

Kudos for putting in such hard work and doing it so quickly. It is very hard to get everything. When you're busy scribbling notes about one scene, sometimes you miss key dialogue in another. It's one of the frustrating challenges of being a recapper.

You're doing a great job. If you thought you wanted to do this regularly, you could contact Melinama (see the side bar) and then you'd be able to post the recap on the main page. Or you could get in touch with one of the ENDA recappers through their e-mail(click on their names and it will take you to their profile page) and they could post it for you.
 

Hi Anon, I had forgotten it was Friday and missed the episode so I especially appreciated your vivid recap.

Gabriel seems to have a double anvil hanging over him, with the ominous mystery condition and now Carloca as a ruthless enemy. I llike his personality. He's very low key but can confront someone if he has to. Sort of like Inake.

Cris needs to find out ASAP that German has been named Carloca's personaly attorney, which is, of course, a conflict of interest. Hopefully the lady in the wheelchair will turn out to be a guardian angel, and a powerful one for him. He could sure use one right about now.

Oh dear, unlike many of the good folks here, I prefer Cesar in his villain roles and those are the ones I find memorable. Carloca would be no match for him in his incarnations as Atilio Montenegro or Federico Rivero.

Jackie i'm thinking this new addition of the woman in the wheelchair hopefully will be beneficial for Cris and Natalia too.

I have a feeling that she will become Carloca's most formidable opponent.

The one thing Carloca likes to throw in people faces are their morals or lack of them, she does have the upperhand on most of anyone who has confronted her so far.

That's why the secrets that Rufi knows could destroy her.

I am hoping now that Cris knows how evil and what a liar she is he will rethink about what she told him about Macarena.

I'm thinking Rodolfo might reveal about German's conflict of interest, since Rufi already told him about German coming to the house to talk with Carloca.


Thanks JudyB i don't know about becoming a regular but i so enjoy discussing this novela with my fellow ENDA addicts.

I am happy to pitch in when i can i so look forward to everyone's response and ideas about ENDA.

I know the person who used to do Friday's had something personal going that prevented them from continuing to recap.

People were complaining not rudely and asking for a comment section to be put up so we could discuss Friday's episode right away.

I thought i give it try and i hope everyone likes it, and because i'm sure i miss parts i don't have a problem with anyone pitching in and helping with missed dialogue or missed interpreted wording.

It's one of the reasons why i tell you guys to feel free to pitch in and help me if i messed up.The biggest thanks you guys give me is just your points of view and comments on the episode.
 

Thank you so much, anon! Usually where there’s a two-hour show, two separate people team up to do the recap, each one recapping one hour. So this was quite a marathon for you.

I’d just add one thing: When Camila was reproaching Rafa, her argument was that if he was truly in love with her as he’d said he was, he wouldn’t have fallen for someone else so quickly.

Somebody asked the other day why the big scary guy in prison hated Chris, and I think it was that when he first saw Chris in the shower room, he sort of made a pass and was rejected.

Boy, Romina suddenly got a pregnant belly! It was flat just a few days ago.

I’m wondering how German knows that Paloma’s going to inherit a lot of money, unless a specific dollar amount was in the will. Usually a will just states what percent of assets a person gets, or at least my will does. And I don’t think there’s any property left anywhere, but maybe then again there is.

I thought Sandra had already told Gabriel the whole Paloma story. Or maybe she told him just the Emiliano part – we didn’t actually hear what she told him.

I agree it would be weird for Germs to know how rich Paloma is/should be just from reading the will...it shouldn't really list exact amounts because most investments change value, at least that's the idea. Maybe it just listed enough accounts and assets that it really looked like a lot, or maybe it stated what the value was on the date the will was written to give an idea of how much there should be. Or maybe it's just telenovela handwaving...
 

Good comment, Maggie. I hadn't thought about whether the will had dollar amounts in it. But somehow, German interpreted that Carlota had squirreled away big bucks and was holding off on Paloma getting any until age 21.

ITA with you and Julia about the big belly suddenly appearing. When she was trying on dresses for the "in your face" appearance at the graduation, you couldn't see it at all. And, yes, how could Paloma still only be 17 since Ro looks 7 months preggers!

I had forgotten the extremely ugly guy started out with a crush on PJC before unrequited love drove him to attempt murder.
 

I'm not sure if it's showing dollars amounts on the will, but remember when Alonso saw it. It indicated how much Carloca got for selling Javier and Sagario's house.

Then he mention something about how well the investments she made for Paloma turn out and made the inheritance even more now then when
Javier and Sagario died.
