In Friday's episode, it looks like Rodolfo is in a hospital room with lots of machines and bells and whistles with Natalia by his side, and she says he's going to be OK.

Did anyone notice that when he fell after Carloca shot him, that he grabbed the bedspread where his cell phone was laying, and the phone fell almost on top of him? That means it was close to him as he was on the floor after Carloca left, so he could have called anyone, and it looks like he called either Natalia or Yvonne.

So now Germs is busted and revealed as the father of Ro-MEANa's baby, and in the avances, we see that Chris brings in the official results of the paternity test (why Chris, how did he get them from Rodolfo's office?) and tells everyone that Em is not the father of the baby. I can't wait to see Germy and Romy exposed and disgraced all over RDM.

I'm ecstatic that Carloca can't sleep and is freaking out that she's been busted for shooting Rodolfo, which she has. The only thing I hate about watching her squirm is the psychotic rage she goes into and the way she treats Rufi as a result. It looks like Rodolfo is really going to torture her (as per the avances) by sending an anonymous note that says "I'm alive."

I love the twists and turns the writers are giving us.

Dona Gringuita - I too wondered how and why Chris had the test results but his delivery of the bomb shell and the expressions if Romena and Emilino were great.

And the fact that Dr. B. is sending La Loca letters cut out from magazines/newspapers is a brilliant plant/pay off by the writers. I also hope her unraveling will not include harm to Rufi or Pal however, let the mind games on Carloca begin in earnest!

I know most are tried of Em now but I had to give him points for not becoming violent and taking pictures. Now, go to a lawyer (Don E. perhaps though he's busy setting up the Purple Terror) and get your divorce.

Also I was amazed that Romemena did not pick up on the daggers coming from Em when he looked at her. Self-absorption on be dangerous (like La Loca saying no Dr. B. isn't alive after the phone call. Yet another great moment of watching her squirm).

Episode 155

We have the repeat of the ending of yesterday's episode to start off this episode.




Carloca sits in her lair reminiscing about her latest mental abuse towards Paloma with a self satisfied smile on her face with her good work.Saying you won't be leaving for Mexico and now you probably won't want to have anything to do with Gabriel.

The only thing i have to worry about is where is the body of Dr.B i know i killed him but where did he go sits the very worried Purple Grinch.

Camila and RoMEME are at the police station where a weary Camila is leaning against the counter and RoMEME complains how she has called Emoon but he won't answer her calls.I know we are tired of the mope but can you blame the guy?

Clueless Orlando walks in and overhears her complaint, he tells her don't worry i told him you're here. Orlando ask Camila if she is fine a first for him maybe a little progress. Camila responds yes then clueless Orlando ask what happen why didn't you call me why Rafael.

Camila tells clueless Orlando how she was at RoMEME house with her Samuel who i was looking for, i had to tell Rafael about what had happen with Samuel and Diana.Then Samuel went buck wild on RoMEME and me.

Orlando ask her what was he doing at RoMEME house money he wanted money from RoMEME that's why i was looking for him because i was worried he would go to her.

Orlando why didn't you call me i'm suppose to be your husband why call Rafael forgive ask Camila which does not placate and angry and upset Orlando he keeps telling her how Rafael always has to be near her.

So much for that little progress old clueless Orlando made huh,Camila looks down in shame.While the object of their argument comes out from the back.
 

Rafael comes out to tell them all how Samuel will be having a nice stay there for awhile this of course upsets miss selfish who ask why. Rafael says they are looking into how he has committed fraud not only with Diana but with a whole lot of other women.

Then two cops lead out a disheveled handcuffed Samuel you're shameless, you're shameless says a angry RoMEME how could you fool so many you're my father. Shameless Sammy says he has a explanation for that please help me.

He tells her i'm innocent of what their saying please help me he begs, RoMEME says no not anymore and you'll serve the appropriate time for your crimes. Hija says shameless Sammy please help me the cops then take away Samuel.

RoMEME looks after her Shameless dad then walks out followed by Camila they walk outside the police station.How could he mama how cries RoMEME in the background they are followed by Orlando then Rafael comes out and looks at them and walks away with Orlando staring daggers at him.

Meanwhile Camila tries to calm crying RoMEME she asks Camila is that why he left you yes but out of love i didn't want to tell you the truth. It's best that he left you and me mama says RoMEME.

Thank you thank you for finally seeing how your own father truly is,Camila then tries to tell her she does not need to stay in a marriage when she is not loved.
Meanwhile Orlando is standing in the background like he is Secret Service.

Then Emoon walks up and ask RoMEME if she is alright, RoMEME latches onto to him like a clinging vine saying Mi Amor. I'm so glad you are here looking for any type of affection from Emoon.

Camila and Orlando look on this display with a look on both of their faces like WTF did you not listen to word your mother just told you.
 

Eugenio,Madeline and Cris are sitting at a dining table Madeline says something then Cris ask what is happening did they find any proof that Carloca had anything to do with what to Dr.B..

What do you think happen ask Eugenio that he disappeared or was he assaulted?I don't know says Cris but i do know it has to with Dr.B. and Paloma. Look says Cris on the night of Paloma's party.

I went over to her house and it looked like she was going out i don't know the street anywhere but it looked like she was going out. She claim she forgot her purse and she was by the door when she opened it.

She is very astute and she thinks very quick, but there is no proof that she attacked Dr.B or tried to kill him says Eugenio. Cris tells Eugenio you have to see her with your very own eyes.

How her attitude changes and her demeanor there's something about her that is frightening Cris says. Eugenio listens to this like he is gathering information.

Madeline while listening to this scary conversation implores Eugenio once again to save her family please help my granddaughter ask Madeline if Carloca had anything to do with Dr.B i don't want my granddaughter near her.

Orlando,RoMEME,Camila and Emiliano are back at their apartment Emoon is telling them how happy he is Rafael was there to defend them. Orlando who is jealous tells them well it's time for him and Camila to go.

Are you going to be ok ask Camila as she gets up to leave with insensitive clueless Orlando yes replies RoMEME i have Emoon here with me.RoMEME tells Emoon come give her a hug which he does.

She then tells Emoon her father is where he belongs in jail for defrauding all of the women he used including his mother.Emoon pushes her away from him to look in her face and ask what about my mother.

Yes he stole from your mother too he had her sign over her house to him.
 

What says emoon how come you didn't tell me about my mother and your father. Emoon when do we ever get to talk, at this time i kind of agree with the queen of green jealous envy between his friendship with Anamar and his fulltime stalking of Paloma and semi work life when does he have a chance to talk to her.

How could this happen i don't know says RoMEME i couldn't believe it either,i have to go see my mother he says. Don't go Emoon i need you here with me i feel all alone now.

RoMEME you know you're not alone you have Camila,please i'm alone right now and i need you near me please don't go ask RoMEME.This doesn't change anything RoMEME emoon tells just because your father is in jail now i still won't move back in here with you.

Emoon leaves her after kissing her on her forehead the second queen of tantrums has a fit goes over to the table and picks up a vase full of flowers and smashes it on the floor. I wonder if she pays her housekeeper double for all of the things she breaks around her house.

She cries in misery for a couple of seconds then reaches for her phone and calls German she ask him where he's at.Come i need you so much she begs.

Suddenly night is upon OL' little town of Murder and Chaos Emoon is driving when he gets a call from the hospital about the baby.He is told the baby is very ill and he needs to come. Emoon drives off in a hurry sorta like Batman but no Robin riding shotgun.

It's dark and the lights are off in RoMEME's apartment she walks to open the door to let in German who ask her what's wrong.She starts her crying woe is me act, German falls it and holds her in his arms.

Kiss me ask RoMEME yes says German i love you he tells her they kiss passionately she starts to unbutton his shirt.

Yes the President of Murders by La Loca herself is walking by the crime scene tape in front of Dr.B's house the put the tape around Dr.B's car. La Loca looks stylish in her long black boots and black coat.

She looks up at Dr.B's house then she sees the police car sitting outside his house with the flashlights on. The old crazy one is not deterred though she closes her eyes briefly maybe she thinks she's I Dream of Jeannie but she didn't do the head nod though.
 

Maybe that's why her being invisible didn't work she boldy ducks under the yellow police tape crime scene and starts to go up the stairs when some one says good evening.La Loca turns around in shock that her invisible spell didn't work. Next cross your arms, close your eyes then do the head nod it might work then. Oh forgot you have to be dressed as a harem girl too.

Clothes are scattered all over the floor as the camera slowly pans to the bed and it's occupants of German and RoMEME doing what comes naturally. Emoon in his white crusader pulls up outside the house.

German and RoMEME are still getting it on then Emoon comes in the door looks down and sees a pink striped shirt thrown on the floor. he picks it up with a look that says i don't have a shirt like this and i moved all my stuff out of here when i left anyway look.

Back to the two rabbits in RoMEME's bed, Emoon looks at the shirt again and walks in the back with the shirt in his hand. German and RoMEME in their haste left the door to her bedroom open.

Emoon looks in and sees them both he has a look of first shock that is slowly turning to anger on his face.

La Loca meanwhile is talking to one of the detectives on Dr.B's case outside of his house.She said she was interested in this case because it never happens in RDM.It was a assault and the person disappeared we don't know if he's alive or dead the detective tells her.The Purple one's eyes have bugged out from hearing this.

You don't say acts a shocked Carloca, but you are investigating it aren't you yes the det. tells her but i can't give you all the information on the case. I understand a clever Carloca tells him it's incredible that something like this can happen in RDM.

A lot of intriques are going on goodnight Carloca tells the Det. he raises up the crime scene tape for her to pass back under a pure black it looks like a Labrador is walking by but stops when it sees Carloca and runs back off the way it came.

Pure evil has that kind of effect on animals, Carloca walks away in shock and very much worried.

Emoon is standing in the doorway glaring anger he backs out and raises his cell phone. I speculated about this in my comments from the preview if he was smart he should take a picture of them on his cell phone.
 

Most cell phones have the camera feature so it looks like he was listening for a change. Emoon takes a picture of the writhing betrayers in RoMEME's bed with his cell phone camera.

He has a snarl of anger on his face once again over emoting his scene oh well we are near the end anyway.

Paloam still badly dressed is staring at a picture is Gabriel's studio apartment in walks Eugenio who is surprised to see her there, what are you doing here. Tell me have you been waiting long yes she says.

i wanted to leave RDM but that are alot of things going on i know Eugenio tells her how Madeline and Cris explained everything to him about about Dr.B. don't worry he says i will use all of my influence to help you with him.

Thank you very much says Paloma but i didn't come to see about Dr.B but about Gabriel is it true she ask reluctantly is he dying?

Eugenio surprised by her question ask her who told you, my aunt Carloca says Paloma she told me how did she know he ask her. She told me you had confessed to her Gabriel condition.

Eugenio looks away with a look of disgust now he knows personally how evil Carloca is, please tells me Paloma begs him is it true.Eugenio upsets at the way she is being manipulated by her aunt over his son condition reluctantly tells her it's true.

It's true he is dying we then hear the male choir singing the sad hymn in the background to confirm how serious the situation is.

Eugenio sits down with Paloma and tells her the history of Gabriel's heart illness he tells her how he and his wife went crazy hoping to find a cure for him . We took him to every medical doctor we could find for help.

They tried everything for him to let him live as long as possible i just wanted him near me but not to suffer Eugenio tells her with a parent who knows his child is going to die soon emotion.

Paloma ask Eugenio why didn't Gabriel tell her, he never been in love Eugenio tells her he's always been in pain for him but with you. What you have given him has been marvelous for him it's the first time he's been in love Eugenio tells her.

Emoon is standing outside the apartment he once shared with RoMEME walking back and forth in anger trying to cool down.
 

He finally opens his cell phone and calls her, RoMEME and German are basking in the glow of their booty call when the phone rings.Hello ask RoMEME, Emoon says her name she ask him did he call her because she's all alone, thinking she is pulling another one over slow Emoon but our miss jealous green queen does not realize each lie she tells now is digging her own grave.

He angrily tells her that they have to go to the hospital for Bernado the baby who is very sick.What ask RoMEME do you know what happen i don't know anything Emoon tells her.Get ready i'll be waiting for you outside your house.

He hangs up and then kicks his car still fuming about how he has been manipulated by her.German ask RoMEME what happened she tells her that Emoon is coming here that you have to leave.

What in a high pitch says German what's the matter what's going on he ask her again i have to go to the hospital for the baby.Please you have to leave here i don't want Emoon to catch you here.Too late for that honey but you keep being your own delusional self.

A nurse is checking the monitor of a patient we don't conveniently see another woman is in the room a visitor who is rubbing the patient's arm hint hint. She ask is he doing ok yes the nurse says he's doing better.

Thank you and we see the woman visitor is Natalia she thanks God out loud.

rafael comes into Diana's soon to be former house he says good evening he she says i have nothing to talk to you about snottily.So you don't know about Samuel what about Samuel ask Diana anxiously.

He just been arrested for fraud Diana gasp in shock Rafael tells her how he's been doing this in Pachuca you don't say Diana says worriedly. Rafael tells her could she sign this house over to him for his business. Well isn't this house mine Diana tells him.

You should have been sure about him and the business deal he was doing before signing over your house to him.Diana says the house is the only thing i have she whines.

Samuel better have not have lost my house, Rafael tells her he's into a lot of things and she better be prepared for what it implicates it's her problem goodnight he tells her.


rafael Diana calls to him but he leaves her anyway, Diana turns around slowly between clenched teeth she vows she will kill Samuel if he has cost her, her house i will kill you she says it's all your fault again in anger.
 

Camila is setting the table for dinner when Orlando comes in and tells her that was just Anamar on the phone what did she want ask Camila. She told me we have to get to the hospital because something is wrong with the baby. This news makes Camila anxious and worried so they both leave to go see about the baby.

Carloca is sleeping soundly dreaming her evil schemes when the phone rings a young male voice tells her that he has found Dr.B and he is alive,who is this who screams La Loca.

At the hospital RoMEME,Emoon Anamar,Orlando and Camila wait for news when Rafael comes in and ask if they have heard anything else about the baby. No not yet he is told.

In another hospital room Natalia is on the phone telling someone that the patient she is watching over will be well enough soon to go home. The camera pans the bed but the patients face is conveniently hidden again by objects in the room. I think we can all say it's Dr.B in lying that bed. Natalia tells the other person on the phone not to worry she will take good care of the patient.

La Loca has gotten out of her bed ranting and raving in her madness he can't be alive he can't be i killed i know i killed him worriedly trying to convince herself this is so.

Angelica rushes into the hospital waiting area where everyone is they are discussing the baby condition when Angelica pipes up i've heard of that it can be fatal if the baby's pulmonary lungs aren't fully developed everyone straightens up at this.

Rafael ask Angelica but he can survive Angelica says yes but it depends on his parents genetic makeup at this comment RoMEME has a deer in the headlights look on her face.

Anamar then suggest maybe both of the parents should take a blood test, this comment enrages the trapped RoMEME who yells at Anamar to mind her own business.
 

RoMEME meanwhile walks threateningly towards Anamar Emoon tells her to cut it along with Camila belatedly.RoMEME tells Emoon we should be the only ones deciding what to do with our child.

Emoon is staring holes of anger at RoMEME should be thankful that he doesn't have Superman's laser beam ability otherwise she would be toast by now.Emoon moves slightly away from her touch by RoMEME then suggest they go home together and freshen up she wraps herself around Emoon again.

While he stands there stiffly barely tolerating her touch. Camila and Orlando agree that's a good suggestion and ask Emoon to go. No says Emoon i'm staying right here with the baby.

RoMEME is disappointed again and leaves with Camila and Orlando the others leave also.

Emoon sits down in the chair and looks at the picture he took on his cell phone of German and her he thinks to himself my friend and my manipulating wife. Now i have to the proof to finally get out this bad marriage.

German did call Carloca to tell her he changed his mind and he will help her find Dr.B for her Carloca smiles evilly. This scene happen before Orlando told Camila bout the baby.

Rufi is praying to the virgencita for Dr.B when Paloma walks in Rufi ask her if she alright she tells Rufi she just talked to Eugenio about Gabriel.

Is it true ask Rufi yes all of it she cries and tells Rufi how Gabriel will die soon from his heart condition. This news makes Rufi who is sadden to hear it cry also.Rufi says how wonderful a young man he is.

I have to go see him says a determine Paloma i have to see him before i lose him forever.
 

Gabriel is looking at something it looks like pictures he puts in a envelope and writes something on it, he wonders to himself why does he miss her so much talking about Paloma to himself.

Cris,Madeline and padres Mateo and Benito are being served by Madeline's man servant.They discuss the plans he made with Rufi and Dr.B. concerning Paloma.

They say how suspicious it is that Carloca was near Dr.B. they vow to help find Dr.B and protect Paloma.

This a little out of order guys so forgive me.

Paloma comes downstairs saying good morning to Rufi who gives her a glass of orange juice she tells Rufi that she is going to see Gabriel.Rufi ask what about your aunt she still sleeping Paloma.

She kisses Rufi goodbye who tells her nina to be very careful.The crazy one yells for Rufi in her bed in a very bad mood.Didn't you hear me call you ask the purple one.Rufi tells her goodmorning.

Carloca wants her to find out what is happening with Dr.B isn't the police investigating that ask Rufi innocently. Carloca orders Rufi to go to the market and other houses and find out what people are saying or know about Dr.B.

But for what ask Rufi looking at her strangely because i order you to Rufi looks at her like why are you asking me to find out Dr.B look.

Rafael told Emoon that he will soon marry Luz and adopt Xochitl Emoon congratulates him.

Luz is confronted by Xochitl abuser who threatens her with a knife in broad daylight he tells her how she has messed up his making easy money and she's going to pay.

Gabriel is sitting in a chair on the lawn taking his pills, when Paloma comes up behind him and says hi.
 

Eugenio is telling Paloma how she is the only one Gabriel has fallen in love with,Paloma is surprised by this news and so is the audience we woman folk can't believe Gabe the babe hasn't been with a woman or been in love before.

Eugenio ask Paloma is it a incredible possibility that she feels the same for his son why are you asking me this whines sobbily Paloma.All i want for my son is to be very happy Eugenio tells her.

I just want the life he left to be with the one who makes him the most happy that all, Paloma tells Eugenio how everyone she has loved has left her.From her parents,Inaki her mother and Emoon.

Eugenio says he understands but Gabriel been in pain too he weeps, Paloma why does everyone i love have to die, Eugenio tells her death is apart of life as well as love. Sorry at this moment i need some tissues because Cesar Evora is killing and spectacular in this scene. Eugenio tells there is a significance in what is happening.

Paloma weeps how God has let her down by letting the people she loves die and be taken from her.What is the significance in that Paloma ask a crying Eugenio why must it be Gabriel.

Paloma then pleads with Eugenio to give her Gabriel's address she must go and see him. Eugenio kisses her hand as saying thank you to her. I need a moment to dry my eyes folks wow what a scene.

Miriam is in the kitchen with Angelica who tells her friend she needs more information on Dario she wants to get the other women Dario has done this to to make sure he never is able to ever do it again.

A lot of connectivity problems so i will finish this episode a little different from my usual style.

RoMEME is sitting in the car with Emoon who ask her casually so you were alone all night huh.RoMEME not picking up his angry sarcasm smugly says yes i was all alone by myself she reaches over to touch him. He pulls away from her touch because he is so disgusted by her lies.
 

Gabriel ask her why she is here i know your secret Gabriel Paloma tells him, i don't want to be separated from you Paloma tells him.

The abuser guy is still threatening Luz in broad daylight with his knife under her throat.Luz dares by saying you're not getting any money from me nor will you get Xochitl back either.

I don't care about you but i want the little girl back she not yours says Luz she isn't yours either her abuser tels her.

I'll give you several days but if you don't bring her back to me you'll be very sorry that you didn't.Kuz bravado disappears when he leaves.

Gabriel ask Paloma who told you your father she says he tells her to leave him but Paloma argues she won't i want to be with you. I don't want to talk about Gabriel tells her about my secret.

I don't want to be another burden for you and cause you pain just leave please.Is that what you really want ask Paloma yes says Gabriel.Paloma won't accept his rejection and tells him how very important he is for her.

Why couldn't you face me with the truth ask Paloma you know why Gabriel tells her i don't care Paloma says. I just want to be near you ask Paloma.
 

I don't want to cause you anymore pain Gabriel tells her because i will be dying soon. Gabriel keeps rejecting her but Paloma does not want to hear it she tells him i want you in my life no matter how much pain i will be in when i lose you they hug each other.

When RoMEME went home German was still in her bed sleeping she told him to leave now.

Dona Gringuita i have to disagree with your speculation my first point Dr.B. probably needed medical attention quickly.

Second he had lost a lot of blood, even if he called Ivonne and Natalia he would still probably be too heavy for them even together to lift out of the house the logical choice is Eugenio who knew about Dr.B. while at the same time Emoon was talking to the police.

You are right about his cell phone was lying on the bed when he pulled the cover off the bed after he was shot.Eugenio probably got Dr.B. medical attention right away then took him to the hospital he's in and called Natalia to look after him.

Remember Eugenio has a lot of connections it be easy from his position to call up a Dr. friend to help save Dr.B then move him to where Natalia lives.

Karen i disagree with you too Dr.B is in no condition to send La Loca the cut out letter yet so that leaves two people either Cris or Eugenio has sent it to her.

My money is on Eugenio because Cris told him how Carloca was behind the letter that set up him and Natalia.Plus Eugenio has only so far has told Natalia about Dr.B. who sitting and watching over him in his room.
 

Good morning ENDA Anon. Wow, sounds like a blockbuster episode. So much happened. No fillers, no way. Thanks for such a detailed account. I could visualize and practially "hear" what was going on. This is really building up to a grand finale isn't it?

I love your I Dream of Jeannie description of La Loca. I too was thinking WTH as she ducked under the tape. Woman, there's a cop car with the lights flashing? What about that don't you get? I'm not even sure what she thought she was going to find in there. But hey, she doesn't operate on all cylinders anyway, so why try to think her way. we could hurt ourselves.


Ok, I know awards are out there and we're supposed to be concentrating on other major characters, but can I just say that if I could just sit and watch our dear Eugenius (Cesar)for most of the epsiode I would be a happy woman. The man kills. Some of the actors in this TN should take notes watching what this man does in a scene.


Diana - too bad. You must reap what you sow darling. I love that Rafa just walked out on her.Not loving the twist with the thug threatening Luz.


I'll give Emoon the benefit of the doubt and figure he's more upset about the fearsome twosome because he knows now there is no doubt that the baby is most likely not his. The results Monday will just confirm, and he'll probably use his proof on the cell when Romeme tries to claim the results can't be true.
Ona side note, why why why were Anamar and Angelica even at at the hospital. Who called them? Emoon?

I don't think it's Dr. B actually sending the letters, etc. to La Loca. I think Eugenio, Nat and possibly someone else are doing this as a way to trap her or unnerve her.


Pal - you go girl. Get your man, at least until the writers make you go back to Emotetoomuch. I will enjoy every minute.
 

EDNAnon, thanks so much for your recap. Some of your phrases were classic such as "the President of Murders" and "basking in the glow of the booty call." I also enjoyed your description of Em and if he had Superman's laser vision Romemena would be toast.

I didn't mean to pre-empt you with commenting on the previews. However, it's so much fun seeing the baddies getting their just deserts.

You are right Dr. B. is in no condition to send the letters. And the fact that it is Chris or Don E. sending them makes it even better.

Now that her grandson is ill, Orly is in so much trouble with this Houston crap. After knowing all Camilla went through with Shameless Sammy, his lies and manipulation are even worse.

I hope Luz gets a body guard or at least tells Rafa and keeps him close.

Why, I think that is the most I have seen Emo actually look at Romina. Anon, I loved the visual of Superman's lack of laser beam ability...on track with my visualization only mine included lots of burning flesh and smoke. I still don't get why Romina developed such an obsession with Emo. German is sexier, a lawyer, and apparently pretty darn good in the boudoir. At some point I truly think the obession became more of keeping Emo away from Paloma than any real love.

So Slimy Sam got busted. I was hoping for more physical pain for him after his actions toward Camila and Romina. What a no good human being. He will hopefully be serving someone's good in his new cell. Maybe he will be paired up with Ole Frankenstein.

Who thought the whole illness with Baby Bernardo was strange? I mean the kid should have been home a long, long time ago. I think he must have caught some virus from being in the hospital for way too long and stuck in the incubator...tight quarters for a baby who appears atleast 4 months old. Poor baby. I just kept thinking that this TN has to wrap up in a way that keeps Romina away from that baby. She clearly won't put his needs ahead of her own. She left without even hearing from the doctor? WTH? She apparently didn't like hanging around the hospital with the scent of love clinging to her while Emo shot daggers at her with his eyes. Maybe he can point those things at Slimy and La Loca too.

To me, the only thing that makes sense is that Dr B went unconscious without fingering La Loca. If he can talk in any way, then seems to be simple. "Mr. Policeman, I was shot be Carlota, La Loca. Please arrest her. Gracias." Get her locked away and them start searching the house for a weapon.
 

The Purple Beast must now be renamed the Purple Moron. Let's see she goes back to the scene of the crime, sees a police car with flashing lights, sees crime scene tape but calmly ducks under the tape and walks to the door like she is making a friendly call. I actually thought for a moment she would tell the cop that she and the doctorcito had been lovers and she wanted to get something she left in the house.

I totally love the idea that the new gang of 4 or 5 are gas-lighting her. The mysterious phone call (whose voice I thought sounded suspiciously like German) and soon the cut out letter. That can only have come from Don E direction since he probably found out how Cris and Nat had been accused.

The Junior Queen of Mean certainly remains consistent. Hanging all over Emoon at every excuse, especially after slimy daddy's true character is revealed. When that didn't work, as usually she makes a whining call to German who, while not moping around her all the time reacts just like Emoon does when Pal is round and races over.

Totally loved Emoon glaring and then taking the cell phone shots as we had predicted. I though he would have been much cooler if instead of leaving he had walked into the room and calmly said "Sorry to interrupt but our baby is sick and we need to get to the hospital." I guess he is just going to wait to drop the bombshell on Romena later. (He doesn't know that Cris is going to beat him to it).

For the life of me I can't understand who told the skank from Monterrey. I can only assume Orly called the office because both the "secretaries" showed up. Found it hard to believe that Emoon didn't call Paloma.

For a minute there I was afraid that Luz was going to be history thereby getting her out of the way for Rafa to snag dull Cami and then she might have another daughter she could raise as badly as she has Romena.

Our patience is being rewarded as ll the hidden truths in RdM come out. I am concerned however about Gabe coming back to town with Pal. That sets him up to be offed by the Crazy Purple One and if she uses her favorite method no one will know because he has a history of heart problems.
 

Forgot this in my first post of the weekend LOL. I totally loved the scene between Paloma and Eugenio. Reminded me of a couple of their scenes in Guapos. He is an absolute master in conveying emotion. One of the thing O love about this novela is the chance we are getting to see some real actors at the top of their game and some potentially good younger ones as well.

Wow, Orly is a major obsessive. I don't think Rafael even knew Camila was at Romina's house. I wasn't clear about how he knew Sammy the Snake was at Romina's in the first place. The call that the maid was on during the episode? Anyway, how was Camila supposed to call her loving husband from a choke hold? Instead of being grateful Sammy didn't harm his wife and step-daughter, all he can think about is himself. I can hardly wait for his comeuppance.

Yes, baby Bernardo has Cystic Fibrosis, a nearly universal death sentence. Some do live to adulthood. I don't think any live to middle or old age. A childless couple that I work with, originally both from Mexico, had tried for years, enduring many miscarriages, to conceive. They finally adopted a baby girl from a small village in Mexico. The child turned out to have CF. She died at 10 years of age, after they endured years and years of sleepless nights and long stays in hospital. What kept her alive was the excellent care she received at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford University.

Angelica described it reasonably well. The CF child's lungs fill up with mucus. There is some method of pounding them on the back that I don't fully understand that loosens this mucus. So Luis and Carmen are eligible for sainthood for all they endured caring for this child.

It's a pretty sad turn for the novela to take. I don't see Romina enduring the torture of parenting a CF child.
 

One of my good friends had a serious boyfriend when we were college who had CF. He was a walking miracle because he had made it to his early 20s. I am not sure if he is still alive now. This has made me want to check in with my friend to see if she has news. It is not a pretty disease, and it is hard on the bodies of those who have it, and hard on the families. Lots of hosiptal stays, lots of work to do each day to get the mucus out of their lungs (I watched my friend pound on her boyfriend's back for long periods of time). Indeed, this is a very sad turn for the novela to take. And I honestly can't see selfish Romina or German doing what it takes to keep this child alive for as long as possible and taking care of him. Emiliano HAS to get full custody. This child will need a responsible and dedicated parent for all its life.
 

The life of the parent of Bernardo will be much like how Eugenio described his as his wife's lives as they fought to get their son the best care, to keep him alive as long as possible, to let him live a full life, and to themselves live with the anguish of knowing that their son will die young. Do you think the writers made that connection on purpose?
 

Vivi, what an interesting thought about the similarities between Bernardo and Gabriel, both born with a death sentence. I hadn't considered that. I was frankly gobsmacked that they visited that diagnosis on the unlucky preemie. Babies in TNs are often switched and kidnapped. But they always seem to end up healthy and smiling in the arms of the correct, loving parents.

Way to go Emo getting a picture, but he neglected to get their faces. Apparently he didn't watch Veronica Mars like I did. His facial expressions were hysterically funny, almost like he was doing some sort of facial stretching exercises.

I'm shocked that they gave a telenovela baby cystic fibrosis. Usually the worst thing they get is something that is instantly cured once a matching donor of blood or marrow is found.

One of my uncles had cystic fibrosis and lived 51 years and died of heart failure, but I think that is pretty rare. He had a sibling who also had it who died in childhood. I also had a coworker with CF who died a few years ago at about 30 years old. I think it is a very difficult disease to live with.
 

Okay, nitpicky pointing out of a continuity error: Romina's bra color changed back and forth between a dark purple or brown and a lighter beige, and not just when she'd been out of her clothes in the sack with Germs. If your underthings are going to be so exposed, they need to be included in wardrobe continuity, Romi dear.
 

That scene with Eugenio and Paloma was beyond great. I'm so glad Paloma went to Mexico City to see Gabriel, although she shouldn't have walked up behind him like that, knowing he has a bad heart.

I'm not sure why Gabriel doesn't seem to get that his death is going to be painful for her anyway, and having not spent time with him when she still could would only make it worse.
 

Lover ENDA Anon. loved your detailed recap and your funny aside about Carloca thinking she has the super power of invisibility. Yes, her reign as Queen of Doom is coming to an end and she is being thwarted at every turn. So enjoyable to see her losing control over others and her own life at long last.

I also though "heart attack" when Pal crept up on Gabe from behind and though Emo should have shouted "SMILE" really loud when he took that photo of Romi and Germ. I don't think a photo of a faceless woman and a some guy's back will hold up as evidence of infidelity. LOL.

What a contrast between selfish Emo who has never really given up Pal and has always taken any opportunity to be near her even though he is a married man and Gabriel who is willing to give up his true love Pal to spare her the pain of losing another person she cares for. Hopefully, the writers will let Paloma come to her senses and love Gabe as more than a friend and let them be together for as long as possible. Then someday, when Pal and Emo are both free and hopefully old and gray, they can reunite. That's my version of a better ending than Pal remaining in love with Emo the Bland instead of her soulmate Gabe the Babe.

By the way, Julia, I loved Veronica Mars especially Season 1. Veronica was pretty snarky about everything so that's probably why I enjoyed it so much along with the good writing, characters and acting (except for her original boyfriend who had no affect.)

I have a thought about Pal and Gabe. If Gabe is destined to die, which I am not completely sure of anymore, could this be an opportunity for Paloma to experience loss on different terms. All of her losses to date were pretty much unexpected. This may be an opportunity for Paloma to come to terms with a loss in her life that doesn't leave her feeling hopeless and responsible. For her to be a positive part of the process and in some ways a very healing experiece for her. I really want to see Gabe make it through though.
 

Thanks EndaAnon for your recap with so many fun visual descripttions. These latter days of any telenovela are so funny when most viewers are sick to death of someone or many of the characters and the humor is without mercy or remorse.
I am totally enjoying seeing such top rate actors, especially Evora and even the Carloca who has made my favorite color purple so dreadful but they have created an indelible prop with the exaggerated use of it.

I am sorry about the baby developing such a sad, hideous condition but perhaps it is better than a long life with RoMEMEME who doesn't seem to have developed an ounce of altruism or motherliness. Maybe we can be surprised with a misdiagnosis, I would rather hear about malpractice than the obvious doom of an innocent, he is such a cutie.

I too had a friend in college with CF, who lived to be in her early twenties.

I thought that Emiliano's reaction to Ro and Ger was rage --that hesaid he had given up his chance to marry Paloma because he thought the baby was his and he was doing the right thing. Also, it was interesting that when Ro left to go to the hospital, I thought German seemed concerned. He asked her to let him know how the baby was. I am seeing redemption for German.

Gabriel got a good report from his Dr. Could that be a harbinger of good things to come for him and Pal? Also was I correct that he tried to get her to define what she felt for him (after she said that when she found out about his illness she realized how much she cared for him)and she kind of hedged saying that she cared for him although what she felt for him and Emilio was different. Does anyone remember exactly what her answer was? Also Gabriel was clear that he didn't want her to commit to him because of pity.

Ditto about the comments on the scene with Paloma and Eugenio. That really was a 3 hankie scene....

I've forgotten that Eugenio told Carlotta about Gabe's illness. When and how did that happen?

NJ Sue- He didn't tell her. She listened in on the call he had with Gabe's doctor on the phone in her office. She listened in on another phone in the house.
 

Paloma is not good with Gabriel. He is dying, acts like he wants her then tells her not to love him and he has that Terrorist look about him.

My Spanish is not so good, but from what I gathered they are suspecting CF, but they are not sure. I'm hoping it will turn out that the baby has just pneumonia and will be just fine. The writers had been really cruel to this baby so far, I hope they will come to senses and give this baby some love.
 

That would make better TN sense Maria. It does seem strange they would saddle a poor baby with something that serious. Perhaps it was a PSA segment like sometimes happens.
 

Just chiming a little late to thank you for your recap, Enda Anon. It's my weekend treat. I hope we'll get to hear from you again after this show ends, whether as a recapper, substitute or commenter. I like your down-to-earth style.

The last wisp of hope I had for Romina to be redeemed evaporated when she left her critically ill baby to go home to change her clothes. She hasn't shown an ounce of maternal feeling for that child and has not tried to bond with him at all. If this health crisis doen't move her, nothing will. I'm kind of worried where the writers are going with the baby storyline now that they've saddled him with such a serious disease. I am so ready for some happy endings and no further tragedies.

It's quite gratifying to see Carlota squirm, but I don't get the point of all the cloak and dagger stuff with Dr. B.'s shooting. Well, if they're going to be using Natalia's home as a safe house for Dr. B, maybe he'll be able to get some visits from her friend Yvonne. I can see these two ending up together.

I'm with you I didn't get that Bernie had CF just something they were looking into. Angie was the one that got everybody's knickers in a twist with the doom and gloom explanation of CF.

After years of novela watching I can say there are certain things that are consistent beyond the moping galans and weeping ingenues, meddling servants and/or priests etc, and if the baby had this critical a disease it wouldn't come at at the end of the novela. It would have been part of the early ongoing story.

I think that Cami called Rafa before going to Romena's and the confrontation with Sammy because she wanted to warn him about what had happened with Diana. I am mystified however as to why he felt it necessary to go to Romena's.
 

I'm not sure why he called, but I thought that Rafa was the one that called RoMEE's and the maid told him there was a fight going on. He then ran over.
 

Jeff, that's what I thought, too. That Rafa was the one on the phone and that the maid told him what was happening. I didn't think he even knew Camila was there when he called. He was just trying various options to locate Sammy the Snake to confront him about the Diana situation.

The thing that amazed me is that Camila just let that go by when Orlando got up in her face about not calling HIM. She should have fired right back at him. She didn't know Rafa was coming and she didn't expect Sammy to get violent. It seemed to me as if she thought she could get rid of him by just stopping Ro from giving him money.
 

Well we all know that Cami isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. Anyone want to take a bet that when Cris spills the beans she won't just look at Romena and wring her hands while saying "Oh Romena how could you?" Meanwhile Orly will thought bubble - well the kid isn't my grandson so what's the big deal about going to Houston
