Synopsis of "Llena de amor" (Full of Love) - upcoming novela
This is a remake of Mi gorda bella (My fat beauty); Llena de Amor will have its grand Univision premier on Monday, August 9, 2010
Despite having lived almost her whole childhood without the love of a family, Marianela (Ariadne Díaz) hasn't lost her smile, nor the sweetness of her character. After the death of her father, her aunt Freda (Azela Robinson) imprisoned her in a school with the pretext that her mother was an alcoholic and couldn't take care of her.
Years later, her mother dies in a mysterious accident and Marianela goes to live with the evil Freda.
Marianela is the victim of jokes and humiliations. Only her cousin Emanual (Valentino Lanús) treats her well and defends her, and Marianela can't help falling in love with him.
In time, Emanuel begins to feel a strong attraction towards her. Simply imagining them together drives Freda crazy and she decides to poison the girl with some chocolates apparently from Emanuel. When she finds out the chocolates Emanual gave her were poisoned, Marianela feels profoundly wounded and decides to go to Spain.
Months later, Marianela returns to Mexico - but the Marianela who left for Spain isn't the same as the one who returns, full of optimism and confidence in herself, determined to descover the truth and get back what belongs to her.

Oh dear, Marianela has borrowed Robin Williams' body suit from "Mrs. Doubtfire" for her role in "Llena." Her bod looks just like his did!
I am SO excited for this one :) It seems cute and fun. Much more lighthearted then its current predecessor.

I got a view a few episodes of this when I visited Colombia a month back. I really liked it. I'm glad it's coming soon!

Thanks for posting Fiddler! This TN sounds a less dark than MP, and I think I could use that right now. Plus it has a lot of actors that I enjoy. I could listen to Cesar all night!
Do you know when this starts and the time spot it will have? I've been watching Telemundo lately cause Univision was giving such "follow the recipe" stories. But with two narco pieces of crap replacement on its agenda, goodbye Telemundo (after El Clon, of course). This one has some of my all-time favorites. Lois

Seems that lately, characters are always falling in love with their cousins. Mexico is a big country so there has to be someone who is not blood related out there. It may be a cultural difference that I need to accept. Looks like fun especially with Cesar Evora aboard.

I am so far very disturbed at that they are first cousins...second cousins, maybe a little more acceptable. and knowing how these novellas are they will prob end up not being related at all (someone has to be an illegitimate love child!) but for now they are both aware of there familial relationship and acting like that. weird!
