Martincito’s operation is a success, in large part thanks to Max’s quiet donation of the magic box. Or whatever was inside it. María stays close to the boy. And Max stands back and enjoys the fruits of his generosity from a distance. And in silence.

That silence allows JP to conclude that St Bernarda was the anonymous donor – (And one wonders: Is there a minimum SAT score to get into the seminary? Or maybe it’s a maximum?) In any event, that holy mother has dug deep into the Ugly Closet to find the stand-up pleated white collar she wears for the occasion – is she supposed to be a Medici regent?

Against his better judgment, Osvaldo agrees that he and V will give bratty Fer not just a gold watch but also a new car for her Bday.

Fer’s party is an opportunity for all the Sandoval haters to come out and play. Of course Guillermo and Ofelia are there delighting in Osvaldo’s recent misfortunes and gossiping about V’s humble origins. Pestilential Padilla – the rapist from V’s tragic past -- has the agallas to show his face in the company of his spawn, Scuzzy Tattoo Boy. V and Toni nearly faint when they see him; he recognizes them too and seems to intuit that V’s pride and shame will keep her from speaking out against him.

Padilla Père takes the opportunity to steal Fer’s gold bd watch after she carelessly leaves it on the bathroom sink.

Padilla Fils takes the opportunity to steal Fer – and whatever virtue she may have possessed -- after V & O carelessly allow her access to booze and car keys.

Back at Yenta Center, LindaHo pushes out her bazooms in JuanJo’s direction after Milagros volunteers the information that JuanJo has some money saved up. It looks like LindaHo is calculating Plan B.

MD/MS have no face time that I can recall, just lots of dreamy flash-backs and sighs. And then of course we have …

JP rolls up in Burnie's crib and tells her about M-Cito's miraculous recovery. When Burnie says "Say I thought you said he was gonna die without the equipment" JP says "Somebody miraculously bought the equipment!"

I was looking closely at Garcia-Cantu's face last night. I love that face...he could play the devil himself!

How very rude of Producer, Producer's wife and Guillermo to enjoy the hosts' dinner, etc and then make such rude comments.

Victoria has kept one too many secrets...they are all going to blow up in her face. Why not tell Oz that Padilla raped her? It actually might make her human. That could be a good thing for the Oz/Victoria relationship.

I missed the entire LindaHO scene, but did she go to the party in that black leather number? What was she doing in Milagro's kitchen exposing her clearly artificially enhanced (you can't miss the outline of implants) boobs wearing that see through outfit?!

I nearly gagged when she stood up. If I'm not mistaken, I am sure JuanJo grabbed his privates as he was falling to the floor.

She is a tramp and then some.

...and...what in the WORLD is Oz doing discussing his involvement with LindaHO with Guillermo?! Methinks that this will make the tabloids very, very soon.

As Fony Fer and Tattoo Boy were making out, I was trying to make out what type of auto she was given. Was it a Mini-Cooper?

--Yes she did, the shameless mother of ...

--The party isn't over -- I think she is going to make an appearance tonight (unless I dozed off during that scene.)

-- Milagros invited the girls to taste another of the specialties. María was out doing saintly stuff. Nathy begged off saying she had to study but she pushed Linda to accept the invitation ("Just put on a robe and go!") in the hopes of distracting her so she wouldn't crash the Sandoval party. Linda took her advice. Except instead of putting on the robe, she just sort of draped it loosely around her shoulders.
 

I think MP has had implants because I remember her riding that bike in the CCEA credits with the v-neck t-shirt and saying to myself "Ok, implants."

I fight the urge to grab a pair of Tweezers and reach thru the TV screen to pluck Victoria's eyebrows. They are a beautiful shape but they have way too many straggly hairs underneath and all that eye makeup isn't helping matters.

Linda is just too much for me. All that purring and cooing and stuff. I want her and Juanjo to go away (Milagros can stay, though).

NovelaMaven/Anon.: Thanks for jumping in there with the highlights. I have access to modify and put it up officially for everyone. I remember that Max tells Fabian and their drinking bud that he's in love with Maria and plans to eventually marry her. Also, Fer and Tattoo-Boy take her new car for a spin and to some secluded woodsy area and end up "trying out the springs" in the front seat. I'll put that in also.

I completely understand Victoria's not telling Osvaldo about the rape. She didn't want to relive it again by telling it. She would also be ashamed of her vulnerability. When a woman presents herself as tough that doesn't fly with her.

The actress playing Fony Fer has definitely had implants and her character is too young to be allowed to have the surgery. She should be played by someone younger. (I promise that's the last time I say that.)

Vic now needs both Oz and Padre Hottie. Big time.

Since you ladies have your fill of Max and OZ, I enjoyed myself with Linda, Fernanda and Maria. I was mildly surprised when i saw Linda stand up from the table and Juanjo was giving her his full attention. what a way to steal some kisses too. :D Wow. She went up there in her nighties. Yipee.

That was an intriguing party indeed. Lots of scheming and backstabbing. I'm not sure Maria(Maite) has had implants. They are not big enough. I know that Linda and Fer have implants. UA, I think it is implied that Fer is naturally big chested or at least that is what they want us to believe. I don't think Victoria and Osvaldo would spend money for implants on a supposedly teenaged girl who might be a late bloomer. Just my opinion.

I also don't think Victoria can just easily say she was raped because in Mexican culture, she may lose face to being a victim of such a scndalous thing. they also have a thing for avoiding scandal much more than we do.

I don't think Maite has implants,because they actually move when she moves, not like Linda's ones which are round and totally lifeless.I think Maite is wearing push up bras.
 

Thanks to Novela maven, Anon, and Jardinera for going above and beyond to recap this episode. Burnie [a mother superior...superior mother] will surely burn you-know-where by the end of this novela. Did last night's deflowering of Fer put her in the family way ? Poor little rich girl. Things are getting interesting on several fronts. As for LindaHo...what can I say except thar she is a ho who seems to want to replace both Vicky and Fer in Ossie's affections....young enough to be his daughter and old and trashy enough to be his lover.
 

So, a day (more like 5 days) late and a dollar short, but Maite Perroni did get implants shortly after Rebelde ended. There was an RBD interview where she talked about it in very vague terms.
