What will it take to knock any sense into Tony's head? He's the biggest imbecile -- or the dumbest sadist -- in the entire story. There must be a few things he can be arrested for.

Murderous Marcy's failed seduction of Bruno was both cringeworthy and hilarious: The cousin peeks and smiles enjoying the hard moment Bruno is going through. I'm sure hard is the last thing Bruno is at that moment! Money is what gets his motor running and if Marcy doesn't have it she doesn't get any... action. I can imagine the next scene between them with Marcy going Lorena Bobbit on his equipment.

I'm sure Julio stashed away plenty of cash prior to his scheme and he's prepared for anything. I can't wait for his plan to get underway. And we can hope that if Alicia spills the frijoles on Eva's wearabouts that she and her tia will already be on their way back to L.A. That should make Leo feel like a real idiot.
 

Thanks so much, Marta (or is it Martai? I've seen both), for a wonderfully detailed and delightful recap. I kept chuckling at your comments, but I burst out laughing when I got to the part where you gave Laurita permission to do whatever it takes to make her father take off his amnesiac blindfold. I loved your suggestions!

Like UrbanA, I'm pretty sure that Leo will get Alicia to give him enough information to get to Tia Tilda's, and I agree that it's likely he'll get there after Eva, Don J., and Tia T have left for LA. At least I hope so!!

There's a lot more I could say, but I've got a plane to catch, so I'll stop here. The next three weeks, I'll be even more dependent than usual (if that's possible) on these recaps, since I'll be traveling and not able to watch the show. Again, muchísimas gracias.

Martaivett, I really laughed at the thought of Laurita dressing her dad up as a clown, because lately he has that sad, sad clown face, and that pink shirt. He must have some masochistic streak to force himself to "conciliación" with Icky, out of some misdirected sense of duty. I was gagging, too. All the Pepto in the universe won't help.
And Tony...don't ya all know that Alicia will never think of going to the police for a restraining order? No, instead she goes to another diletante to be plied with wine...wearing that same spandex uniform she always wears. What is with that? She wears it to bed, she wears it to work, she wears it to impress Leo...

I think Tony might just go telling Daniel that Leo paid him to say those things about Eva, to get back at Leo & Alicia, which will start the ball rolling on daniels brain cells that Eva might be innocent.

Also can someone tell me is Bruno sleeping with his cousin? Leo 's secretary b/c I don't think he can do that, there's something wrong.

I felt so bad for little Laurita last night she wanted to slap her papi, and tell him to wake up. I hope the writers wont let Vicky her this little girl.

How in the heck is Daniel going to shake this witch (Vicky) when Eva comes back? I mean he's saying this is a reconciliation is basically signing his death warrent with this women ( Vicky), b/c she going to make his life hell, and then Marcella is going to kill him to get the money. He's so stupid right now.
Did it strike anyone else that Alicia has a bad habit and a nasty pattern with men. I mean when ever this girl gets into trouble she turns to the nearest man in her life. examples
1. she gets into trouble at school with cheating, turn to Tony.
2. She's about to get exspelled for what Tony did to the professor. She goes to Carlos, When Carlos ends up in jail, back to Tony she goes.
3. Now that Tony want's to collect for said debts, he feels she owes him. she run to Leo. When is this girl going to lean that you have to pay a price for such silly behavior, and take responsibility for her actions.
NOT saying what Tony did to her last night was right by any means, But I saw it coming, and I think she will pay a much high price with Leo, in order to get rid of Tony.Michele in PA
 

Marta: Thank you so much for such a detailed recap of a capitulo that was very difficult to watch (for me).

Tony is becoming beyond sickening. I think he is dangerous and abusive. Why in the world Justa has thought he was a 'good' person is beyond me. He is a time bomb waiting to explode and explode he will.

The scenes with Dumb Dano and Ictoria were DISGUSTING!!! I had to switch channels as I could not take it anymore.

My word...that man (Dano)has a LONG road back to Eva.

My faith lies with Don J and Laurita. The rest...they are bozos.

thanks everyone and thanks Jardinera for posting it... I am sorry I had no time or energy to edit it, I just typed as fas as I could and then went to sleep...
I dont think Tony would clear Eva's name to get back at Alicia and Leonardo... I am sure he will find some other way but without benefiting Eva since Eva is on his sh__ list too... and cleaning up Eva's name would not exactly hurt Alicia.

ITA that Alicia is really asking for a lot lot of trouble and I am afraid eventually Tony and/or Leo will be blackmailing Eva so that Alicia does not get in more trouble... Alicia will be a weak spot for Eva for sure.
I have to go to my daughter's career day at school to talk about computer careers but will check the page later in the afternoon again. BTW I forgot to say when Tony lost his control and asked Alicia if what she wants is money, he dumped a bunch of bills on her feet to humilliate her showing he can also provide that for her... NOT!!...
 

I agree that each day the LOOONNGGG road for Dano to get back with Eva is getting even longer and steeper... this man will have to do a lot of crawling to both Eva and Laurita... he will be hitting his head on the wall so much when he realizes Laurita was right all along and he was just blinded listening to the last people he should be listening to.

This was not the easiest recap to read, reminding me of some of the C*** that went down last night, but as my language skills aren't stellar, I needed to get a few things clarified and you did that for me Marta. Thanks so much.

As much as Guy is so easy on the eyes, the character of Dano right now needs to be slapped up the side of the head and read the riot act. He can wallow in self-pity all he wants, but to subject his daughter to a woman who she didn't like even BEFORE Eva showed up, just wrong. Glad Fran said what he did, maybe there's a few brain cells registering somewhere in Dano that will start firing. How could he forget how easily Icky went off the deep end before...ok, rant over.

Well, maybe not, Tony needs to be thrown out of the pension NOW. I hated him before but he crossed the line and if no one reports him, he should at least be forced to get away from everyone. What's he going to do, sober up, and come walking in again with the "what's up family?" Ok, rant really over now.

I have to admit, Leo is slimey, but he does it so well. I wonder how far he'll take being Alicia's protector and possible "love". With Eva back, who's side will Alicia take if she gets in thick with Leo. Hmmmmm....

Kudos to the actor (forgot his name) who plays Bruno...That was one of the best portrayals of someone looking physically sick and disgusted I've seen. Marci's attempt at seduction was both hysterical and nauseating to watch. If he's leaving town, he better do it fast! This woman is not in a good mood.

actually looking forward to tonight - wonder how "transformed" we'll see Eva become. New hair, clothes?
 

Marta: Terrific recap, amiga! Had to laugh at all the Pepto you had to take to get through all of it! That is definitely dedication! LOLOL! I think Laurita should be put up for sainthood! Bruno seemed to need another shower the minute Manhandling Marcy left the apartment. He'd be smart to change the locks, too. Wasn't too bright of him to give her her own key. Oh well, live and learn! Maybe he will skip out and just not show up to work the next morning.

I don't have much faith in Alicia holding out where Leo's concerned. ITA that he'll find out the address but won't get there till after they all leave for the city.

It was disturbing that the one thing Eva never thought to mention to Julio was that Leo was the one who told her about Dano running over her father. That would have been a horse of a different color then.
 

Love Don Julio. A juicy role & well acted. Can we keep him alive for a long time, please? Also, love Tia.

Would like to believe Alicia believes in sisterhood & togetherness and not rat out Eva, but don't think she's got the courage or the smarts.

Also love little Laurita. Very believable and sweet.

And I like the Pepto shirt. Please, no greens.

Anon at 11:18--you are so right. Green, even a pretty mint green would be awful with Guy's skin tone. He's looked smashing in pink, dark purple and that reddish shirt he had on when Laurita disappeared.

You can pretty much be sure that these are not kissin cousins. They are probably sharing digs when Bruno is not expecting a rendez-vous with Morcilla.

Michele--I don't recall Leo paying Tony to bad mouth Eva when Dan came to the pension looking for her. He's not going to do anything that helps Eva. The lies he told Dan were completely a creation of Tony's criminal mind to put Eva in the worst light possible. He was furious at her at that juncture for Eva's interference with his relationship with Alicia.

I wonder what Leo and Gallo's detective is going to come up with. I also think Alicia is going to spill the beans once Leo gains her confidence. What is Marcy doing to find Eva. She's the one that really needs to find her double quick.

Please, please spare me any more V-Icky-Dan smooching. Like I said yesterday--those lips are for meant for kissing, but only for kissing Eva. How dare the writers besmirch their sanctity.

Was anyone else on the edge of the chair when DonJ had his latest episode? I was convinced that Eva and Tilde would go back in to find him expired. Whew.

I would love to see Don Julio getting Dan and Eva in a room together and locking them in until they duke it out. They will yell at each other a lot, but Eva won't be able to walk away from Dan and leave him standing there looking dumb and calling out Eva, Eva no te vayas.

Laurita is the key to everything here. I wish Eva could get in touch with her somehow.

I somehow suspect that we will only see the beginning of Eva's makeover tonight and the rest on Monday.

Marce didn't get any affection from toy boy Bruno last nght, she needed to de-stress. Poor Marcela!! please no more close ups of her lips..ewwww!!
Dano is looking older with all the issues he is having to deal with.. being sad and depressed does not make him look any younger. When he is angry he is not believable to me, reminds me of my husband, lol About his colorful shirts, I love them!! I rather have him wear pink than any green.. I love it when good looking man wear pink.
IMO asides from Tony and Leonardo being bad evil villains, I'm enjoying seeing them.. they are hotties! I could care less for Bruno.. I'm not sure where he is in the "looks" department.. he is not handsome, not ugly, hmmm

Daisynay said most of what I feel about Dano and Tony in her rant but I just want to say I still don't understand how you can't overlook some money but you can overlook some crazy chick trying to kill you in bed with a knife. Even the best beanie's can't handle that. And it would be fine if his stupidity only was about him but he has a child. I wish Laurita could take some of your suggestions Marta : )

One plus about Tony snapping like this is he and Leo may kill one another ;)

ITA on the idea of Don Julio putting Eva and Dan in a room togetther and taking the key with him. I would also have him give them a written copy of what each is accusing the other of, and who was their source of information... so they can rebute each accusation without being interrupted by the other...

Another character that I am becoming fond of is Georgio... At first I thought he had major issues with Eva, for the role/rank difference... but lately he seems to be more reasonable, even when Marcela told him that if she had to go as far as killing to get Eva out of the way... his face was cringing as if that was beyond his sense of justice. I want him to end up with someone good for him. He sounds like a character that has suffered greatly in the past... he deserves someone who can compliment him and make him happy.

Watching Marcy's meltdown was priceless--absolutely made my day and worth another beer. Let's see, will she have to live in some cracker box apartment? Maybe end up at the soup kitchen and homeless shelter. Ah, there IS a Goddess.

Why the hell didn't Alicia's family call 911 when Tony the Toxic came bursting in and slapping everyone around? Damn, I wanted to see him in an orange jump suit.

In view of what Tony said about her to Daniel, I suspect that Alicia didn't want to risk any more contact with the police.

Not to mention that Mexicans probably don't trust cops in the first place.

When the hell is Daniel going to realize that the day of the hit and run was the day he lent his car to Leo?
 

UrbAn--I don't think Dan knows yet that he has been accused of running over Eva's dad.

Has it come up in any of Leo's conversations with him? I thought Leo was only filling Eva's head with the "facts" in the case to turn Eva against Dano.

Poor Dano doesn't know anything about the date it happened--only Eva and Leo know.

I agree. Dan has no clue of what it is SO CRITICAL that Alicia told him Eva said he did... he has no clue. I bet when he learns that he will instantly remember but he will defend himself exactly the way Leo predicted for Eva so Eva won't believe him at all. Unless Julio comes forward for Dano and against Leo.
ITA that Tony should be in jail and about the cracker jack / one room living place for Marce... that will REALLY turn her COO-COO.
 

Are we not getting a recap of Friday. If not what happened after Daniel asked Vicky to marry him. Didn't he think it was strange that, they a now his friends. That whole family is just crazy!

I see that Don Julio told Eva she's to learn English. Hum
wondering if they will have her speaking English in this TN.

let me see what I remember... might not be in order..
at Misery manor, family is having breakfast... Leo has learned from detective that Eva and her aunt left with an elder man that seemed to be relative, but Leo thinks this is strange since according to Alicia they have no other relatives. He assures Cruella he will find Eva...
Can't remember much detail about Dano and Vicky scenes... but I do remember Dano trying to convince Laurita that his marrying Vicky was going to be good for them but Laurita saying she supports her dad in everything but she does not support him in marrying Vicky since she knows that is not good for any of them and that he does not love Vicky.
Eva and Julio make it to a beautiful house, Eva and her aunt are still concerned/reluctant since Julio has not given them any details of what 'his plan' is. But the aunt seems to be convinced when Julio tells Eva that Eva Gonzalez will die in this house to make room for a new woman. Later on he tells Eva that in time after her 'transformation' she will go back to the house to claim what is hers. Eva says she did not leave anything there. Julio replies itis not what you left but what belongs to you (now). He gives Eva a list of things she will be 'educated' on, beginning with learning english, some culture education, manners and self-image boosters, and an accelerated intense course in advertising. Eva gets excited. Julio also tells Eva that Marce was poisoning him and Eva guesses correctly that that is why Marce went to the boardhouse to get her to come back, because Marce was going to frame Eva for the death of Julio.
 

Also, Laurita is refusing to eat or go to her usual after school activities (not sure if it was dancing or sports thing).
Previews show that tonight is supposed to be the wedding of Dano and Vicky, but aunt Matilde is telling Eva that maybe he (Dano) is innocent after all, and we see Dano talk on phone (maybe Eva called his cell?) and ask if it is Eva, to speak to him, but Eva is just frozen at hearing his voice... someone is saying (sounded like Francisco) that maybe Dano is not so sure of doing this (marrying Vicky)...
the voiceover made it sound like maybe there won't be a wedding after all... who knows... probably it will happen (GAG!!)... sine Eva would need months for her transformation...

Daniel facial expression told me something bad was happening in the pre-views for tonight. I'm glad the Don Julio will be giving Eva the tools to help her fight the Marcella, Vicky, and Leo.
That's a beautiful house Don Julio bought for He, Eva, and Tia Tilda. If I was Eva I'd sell Misery Mansion and keep the new house. Why does Daniel continue to leave Laurita out when he's getting married out of two almost ceremonies she has not gone to any of them. Michele in PA

The TN is moving rather quickly, so I thnk the transformation will be quick and will not take months but maybe a week or two, but you never know.. we'll see.
I'm not looking forward to the wedding scenes, it'll be painful to watch if Dano goes through with it.
I can't wait to see what the second letter says. I'm thinking is probably asking Marcela to drop the charges against Eva, but who knows! Good TN watching tonight..can't wait.

something interesting when I was watching this chapter online. At the toast that was made to Daniel and Vicky, he did not drink, he just held his glass and looked sad. :(

I've been reluctant to comment given the rules about spoilers, but it looks like we might not have our re-cap from Friday (it's Ok, Gloria...we totally understand), so...the scenes with Dano and Bimbutt were difficult to watch. Dano states he hates Eva, but sits there like a bump on a log when Bimbutt pretty much pushed him into clarifying his position with her.

I don't think he was ready to move as quickly as Bimbutt, but I have no sympathy. Bimbutt directly asked him what specifically did he mean by their getting together. She said she did not want to wait and find out what he meant. She wanted answers now. While she is waiting for his replies, Bimbutt chips away at Eva every chance she gets.

The sad thing is that Dano with his Emmett Kelly Clown Face of Sadness does literally nothing to stop the cheap words coming out of Bimbutt's mouth (oh my...such a long road to redemption for Dano).

Somewhere along the line, Dano seems to be taken in by the vortex known as Bimbutt and agrees to marry her. She says (with that pointy little chin of hers) that she will do everything for him always. BARF.

During the huge toast to this happy re-union, Dano stands there with no life in his eyes or face, but just lets the tide take him wherever.

Cruella Marcella, meantime, thinks that this is a wonderful happening. She ponders how she will get rid of Laurita and then Dano and then it will all be hers.

Dano refuses to listen to Laurita. He actually believes Bimbutt when she says it is Laurita who does not allow Bimbutt to become close to her. Another BARF.

The excitement in this TN is the Don J, Eva, Matilde arrangement. I HOPE AND PRAY that Eva will become strong.

Dano is not strong. Eva, I predict, will become stronger on all counts.

Will she still want him? I would certainly be asking that question.

I think it is worth pointing that dano sat down with Jackie and asked her what was up with the relationship Laurita/Vicky. This was after Laurita refused to eat or go to her usual routine events (after school stuff)...
Jackie says that neither Laurita or Vicky really like each other. He rebutes that Vicky keep ssaying she tries to get close to Laurita. At this point Jackie could insist that Vicky does not really go out of her way to get close to Laurita (quite the contrary) but since he is her boss and maybe going against Vicky could affect her stay there (if he does get married), she prefers to tell him a white lie, that people are like that, sometimes you have someone you become fond of right away and there are people that you just don't get along with, and that it happens to anyone, even them (Dano and Jackie). this leaves dano with no real answer/viewpoint coming from Jackie... if anything, he is just as confused as before.
 

ITA that Dano just keeps a sad face and does not even toast to his upcoming marriage... like you said, sits there like a bump on a (floating) log letting the tide/wave take him wherever...
I wish there were no wedding tonight but I am hot keeping my hopes too high.
 

Marta: From what we saw of the avances, if that dress that BimButt is wearing is her wedding dress, then I hope it brings her BAD LUCK! Ha! I would hardly call the get up a bona fide wedding dress.

Who knows...maybe Dano will snap out of his self inflicted stupor! One can only hope.

My money is on Don J (who is already stealing every scene! Way to go!!)

IMO who's going to stop the wedding is Debra's. Remember she did hire the private detective and he is finally found where Eva's was, which would be Marcella's house or should I say her (Eva's) house. In that case he would still be a little late in the information department, but its possibly that maybe just maybe Debra might be the person to stop the wedding. Demanding to know where the Heck her girl(Eva) is.
