You're great Jardinera to put up th review. Really was all about Art's stupid firing of Mariano (petty much?). Art just came off as such a jealous little kid - Mariano's attitude was great. Man, he just stands his ground, doesn't he?

I try to ignore anything to do with Johnny, and we just knew the whole fiasco with Juana and Hector was just a matter of time. I don't see it working out with Cutie though either - bet there will be a misunderstanding and he'll go back to what's her face. Poor Juana.
The minute they sowed Fer walking into the apartment, just knew who was going to be right behind. Let the games begin...

Wow, Tere really moves fast. She's already making her next big play for Fernando.

I was disappointed in Art last night. His owwn guilt is magnifying his jealousy to unreasonable levels. I was so proud of Aurora for backing Mariano up, and so proud of Martin for doing the same.

So now that Fito knows the cops are on his trail, I wonder if he'll leave his apt in Johnny's care and then Johnny (and Pati who will be living in the apt) gets busted as the drug dealer? Things could get really complicated for Johnny really fast. Plus, there will be people able to testify that he delivered drugs to them. The cops would NEVER believe that he only thought he was delivering sandwiches. No one could be THAT stupid, is what they will think.
 

I'm wondering if Tere will be Johnny and Fito's defense lawyer? I don't know how she'll get out from under that anvil. It's inching up higher and higher.
 

Thank you for posting the overall review of last night's show Jardinera. You captured the full gist of everything that happened. Arturo in his jealous firing of Mariano gave Teresa the ammo she needed to confront him about sleeping with Paloma and call him out for his hypocrisy. She wasted no time in making her move on Fernando who is definitely starting to crack and from the previews major fireworks go off between them.

Mariano loves taunting Arturo too. Did Arturo threaten to kill Mariano in the previews? I missed part of the dialogue.

Hector should've came clean with Juana about his MIA wife. He gave her a reason to break up with him (even though she was going to do it anyway and didn't because of the news of Paloma's death).

Well let the games begin tonight.
 

Thanks, Jardinera. Tiny Terror is a girl on a mission...accumulate men and money. I wonder what her just reward will be . She hasn't killed anyone, but she's been cold, selfish, greedy, heartless, jealous, and calculating. How do the novelas repay those attributes ? Will something happen that will make her turn over a new leaf and reform ? Is there a great big anvil awaiting her or just some tiny ones ? Will she end up alone and poor ?

As most have said you hit the major plots points last night.

Arturo did threaten to kill Mariano if he came near Teresa.

Let me add to other scenes that i thought were good.

Ruben confronted Espe about having his baby. Espe was getting weak and starting to fall for Ruben's B.S. she got saved by a phone call from Geno wanting to tell him about finding out Fito she needed to see him in person. So Espe came to her senses and decided that Ruben would never make her his main priority and told him to shove off for good and leave her alone.

Really you can see how both Johnny and Espe are related they both have that naive stupid gene.

The other good scene was Aeeeeeeeeeeeeeda going to Mariano and thanking him for turning the information over to Geno about Fito's license number on his motorcycle.

Mariano told her it's not him she should be thanking someone else gave him the info. Aeeeeeeda very happy ask Mariano to tell her who it is she wants to really thank that person personally for doing her that favor.

Mariano asks Aeeeeeeeeda if she sure she wants to do that? Absolutely says Aeeeeeeeeeda i would nothing more than to thank him or her who did this? Mariano then tells her it was Espe.

Leaving our shrewish harpy with a stunned disbelieving expression on her face. I guess not all people from Teresa's neighborhood are bad after all huh Aeeeeeeeeeda?

Jardinera, thanks so much for posting the recap, the essential points are all there. The episode was dominated by Art, his reaction to Mariano being involved in the foundation, blah, blah, blah.
In the middle of the snarl always is Tere. Some of the time you can't directly blame her, but she is always involved somehow.
I guess she thinks she'll divorce Art for infidelity, marry Fernando, divorce him, and then return to Mariano? Or what? i mean, pull back a little babe.

Thanks a million for clearing up a few (many) missed points on my part. Am I the only one who can't stand Juana? I can't stand her fake braid, ugly halter dresses, and the way she is always talking and chewing with her mouth open when she's eating. Is that supposed to make her endearing. And tho I'm no great fan of Hector either, Cuthberto is just plain stupid and dull, not endearing in any way. Sorry, venting. I really like the show.
 

Anon.: To each his own! Some of us dislike Cutberto and are in total agreement with you. Hector is dull as dishwater, but Juana is quick to pick up on what's done around her, so I don't think that she still is eating with her mouth full, but it was done earlier to distinguish her from Art's class of people as one of the barrio folks.

I'm startingt to wonder would Teresa actually sleep with Fernando. She has to know that he will eventually want to take her to bed. How would she get out of it? Fernando doesn't strike me as the type of person you want to tease and he gets nothing for all his troubles. I suppose we'll find out throughout the course of the novela.
 

People like Teresa are usually paid back in kind, with rejection, poverty, and humiliation.

She will mostly likely be shunned. It's also possible that she will somehow end up disfigured.

Lol finally I couldn't agree Anon I can't stand Juana either everyone here seems to like her but she just rubs me the wrong way.

Although I like Cutberto he can be annoying and immature Juana just seems like a bitch to me she kicked Hector out of Arts house saying Vete! And when she was in Cuernavaca she went up to Mariano basically saying the same thing to leave I was like NO bitch this isn't your freaking house get a grip already.

And her designs are UGLY remember how HORRIBLE all of the bridesmaids looked in Teres wedding all thanks to Juana.
 

Thanks, Jardinera and Blusa, for an interesting recap. We had mainly Art acting stupid and same ole Ruben and Espe. The Johnny, Patty, Cutberto, Juana, Hector stories are mainly boring filler and I am starting to disliking all of them. But almost every novela has to have some filler to give the main actors some rest.

Anyway, the Tiburoncita works fast and sees an opportunity to seduce her next victim, Fer. She can't go all the way because her main reason for divorce is Art's night with Paloma so she can't do the same I would think.

We have several characters that might join the happy little Teresa cast....Hector's wife, Paloma's cousin(?) and Seinz the mysterious client. They will probably shake things up a bit!

Teresa probably told Juana to make the dresses that way. Cant have the bridesmaids outshining the bride, ya know.
