Cuando Me Enamoro #123 Tuesday 10/11/11 Cuando No Enamoro!!!, SOCCER???? QTH?

So I sat down to do a lovely re-cap for all of you this morning, things are getting really good. The Mexico vs Brazil game was all I got!! So unfortunately I have nothing to post except Futbol highlights. If anyone got anything please share. I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!!!

UPDATE: Here is a mini-recap based on the highlights provided by commenters Audrey, Susanita and Chuchi:

Agustín in going to Dr. Tatas to get a check-up and clear to fly, is delighted to overhear (and confirm) that Dr. Tatas is pregnant by Jero.

A lot more lovey dovey with Jero and Renata, but the real world calls, and they eventually make plans to leave their love nest and have the important conversations pending.

Roberta tortured her mother by letting Fina watch (via computer video conference) her being "mothered" and spoiled by Regina, and afterwards told Fina how much she despises her. Fina, however, looks like she might have gotten the upper hand by threatening to reveal all to ruin Roberta's current good life. Fina swore that she could destroy Berta even if she is her daughter- nice ha?

Gonzo announced to Mopias, Hons, and Cons that Roberta is Regina's daughter.

Cons is visibly upset. Mopias is not too happy, either. Hons gives Gonzo Roberta's phone, but neither bothers to check on which calls have been received even though they both know that Malafina has been trying to contact Big Mouth Roberta. The mobile accidentally falls to the floor; the two men commiserate about it a bit and Gonzo says he will get a new mobile for Roberta.

When Nata finally gets into the office (she was a tad distracted), Mopias warns her that she still needs to be careful of Roberta. Mopias emphasises that Roberta is not to be trusted. Hard to say whether or not Nata understood that Mopias was truly concerned about her.

Nata and Adri share a happy girl to girl talk.

Ines and Regina have a conversation at the breakfast table. Roberta is in the background hiding and overhears everything.

Ines says that all are very surprised at the Roberta news as both she, Isidro, and Hons expected that it was Nata who was Regina's daughter. I don't remember the Whiny Regina's reply, but Ines says that now she has no reason to stay and will give Isidro the go ahead on their move to Guadalajara. Regina is upset at this as she does not want Ines to leave, but Ines reassures her that they will always be like sisters even though they are not related by blood.

The good Padre (from his sick bed) gives Doc of the Tetons a good 'I told you so lecture' to which she replies that she loves Jero and will do anything to keep him. I think she conveniently neglected to tell her tio that she was preggers. When the Padre said that Jero was still in love with his 'wife', Tatas responded 'ex-wife'. Wowsers. You think that makes a difference, Tatas?

Carlos calls Jero to tell him that Dr. Death will be ready to be moved to his new location in a few days. Jero says he will return to La Bonita by then. He also tells Carlos that all has been patched up between Nata and himself and they are happy lovers once again.

Kari is doing her usual song and dance routine and telling Matilde and Carlos she has to leave. Laz overhears the conversation.

Cons and Jero have a brief visit. They discuss that Roberta is 'officially' identified as Regina's daughter. Cons keeps saying 'no' and becomes quite upset. She tries to get the words out, but cannot and can only thought bubble that she knows this is not the truth. or some strange reason she did not react that way when Gons was telling the family. For some strange reason she did not react that way when Gons was telling the family.

Jero tries to calm her down and really talks over her. If he had just shut up, Cons might have been able to say something important to him. I also believe that Jero tells Cons that he cannot believe that it is Roberta who is Regina's daughter and not Nata.

Nata tells Gonzo that she and Jero are back together again and that she is supremely happy. Gonzo is thrilled at this news. They sit down for a bit of a chat and Gonzo asks Nata if she has told Agustin this news?

Nata replies that she has not, but that the bottom line is that she has never loved Auggie, but that he has been so wonderful and such a gentleman to her (RIGHT.) In any event, she promises that she will get this checked off her list very soon.

Said Auggie then bounces into Nata's office and tries to plant a few kisses on her, but she very adeptly turns her face. She looks surprised to see him, but goes with the flow and says that they need to go to the cafeteria as they have important things to discuss.

The fact that she chose a cafeteria versus a nice restaurant or some other location to drop her bombshell might have sent some worry into Auggie's brain, but being the smooth snake in the grass that he is, he hides it very well.

The parents of Carlos make a short appearance, discuss (gripe?) that the Carlos and Mati marriage is not happening as planned, and wonder if it had anything to do with their disapproval. They act like this is a bad thing. What's up with them? We thought they didn't want Carlos to get married. Hmmm...

It ended with Agustín getting to just the beginning of the break-up talk from Renata. Renata explained to him that Roberta is actually Regina's daughter, since she (Renata) doesn't have a congenital heart problem. Agustín doesn't correct her about her heart history.

The avances show that Augustin is the one to tell Nata that Tatas is preggers.

Regina remains a stupid as ever and Berta continues in her bad ways.

Don't know what became of Chema, didn't he pass out in Tyne street the other day?

Jules, yeah, a lot of us were caught out by the schedule change. A couple of folks gave a heads up in yesterday's comments, but the CME broadcast time depended on your time zone. Emilia and I missed the first 15 mins. Don't know that the story line really advanced very much last night.

Bits and pieces in no specific order:

Gonzo announced to Mopias, Hons, and Cons that Roberta is Regina's daughter.

Cons is visibly upset. Mopias is not too happy, either. Hons gives Gonzo Roberta's phone, but neither bothers to check on which calls have been received even though they both know that Malafina has been trying to contact Big Mouth Roberta. Just remembered:

Cons and Jero have a brief visit. They discuss that Roberta is 'officially' identified as Regina's daughter. Cons keeps saying 'no' and becomes quite upset. She tries to get the words out, but cannot and can only thought bubble that she knows this is not the truth.

Jero tries to calm her down and really talks over her. If he had just shut up, Cons might have been able to say something important to him. I also believe that Jero tells Cons that he cannot believe that it is Roberta who is Regina's daughter and not Nata.

cons was upset when Jero told her about Berta being the daughter and kept saying NO, but for some strange reason she did not react that way when Gons was telling the family. Fina swore that she could destroy Berta even if she is her daughter- nice ha?
Regina's friend decided that now that Regina found her daughter she can move with her family to Guadalajara, good riddance!
Don't know what became of Chema, didn't he pass out in Tyne street the other day?

Another item: Nata tells Gonzo that she and Jero are back together again and that she is supremely happy.

Chuchi, looks like we were writing at the same time!

Great mini recaps everyone!

One more thing:
The parents of Carlos make a short appearance, discuss (gripe?) that the Carlos and Mati marriage is not happening as planned, and wonder if it had anything to do with their disapproval. They act like this is a bad thing. What's up with them? I thought they didn't want Carlos to get married? Hmmm...

Cap'n: Yes, I forgot that little tidbit. It almost seemed like a continuity problem as it came out of left field. One minute they did not want Carlos to marry and now they do? Very odd, indeed.

Susanita

I now find Roberta nothing less than repulsiva, and I want her DEAD--but not before she tells the truth about the DNA test.

What I thought was pretty funny was at the beginning when Dr Tatas was counting with her fingers to figure out if her period was late, she opened her left drawer and quite handily she had an EPT test right there. I forgot about Carlos' parents, that was strange.

Jules, as Mike noted, the plots didn't advance very much last night so it wasn't a bad night to miss. Unless, of course, you wanted a last hurrah of seeing the lovey-dovey between Jero and Renata, sigh. There was a lot of that and it's going to have to hold us for awhile I'm afraid.

I've updated the post so that everyone's recap highlights are now a recap. I don't know if it's in the exact order but it's good enough.

Susanita, I agree that scene with Carlos's parents was oddly placed. I only mentioned it because I suspect it might be important down the line.

Cap'n: I suspect you are correct re Carlos' parents.

Susanita

I was curious about the scene with Carlos's parents, too. I did notice there that Carlos's dad looks just like him, especially when he made that face at mom. That's either amazing casting, or the two actors are actually related. I tried to look up the actor who plays the dad but didn't see him listed with the rest of the cast.

It's too bad Regina is the least observant person ever. She should have glanced at the computer screen while she was chatting with Roberta--she would have seen Fina in the reduced video chat box. Also, I noticed that one of the friends on Roberta's chat list is "Pony." I wonder who that could be? From the list it looks like Berta had friends at one point.

So frustrating the way everyone keeps shushing Constanza rather that being patient and waiting for her to talk. Haven't they figured out by now that she knows stuff?

Where oh where is Chema? I hope he isn't lying in a gutter somewhere. Adri really should have insisted on taking him to the hospital. It was clear he was very unwell.

Thanks everyone for stepping in and helping make up for the soccer scheduling disaster. It was so hard to figure out because sin some parts of the country CME was moved to an earlier hour before the match and in other areas it aired a couple of hours late after the match.

But you guys are troopers -- with great memories and your joint was quite complete.

The last moments of ecstatic love were fun -- and very sexy considering that our lovebirds were clothed and in the kitchen for most of it. They have great chemistry and he has that wonderful smile while she has that infectious laugh. Wish this could go on a bit longer but from the previews it looks as though Auggie is going to drop the big baby bomb tonight. Drat!

I don't know where that is going -- but she stood her ground when Tio Padre berated her for getting involved with Jero. She told him that she doesn't regret following her heart and that she still loves him. I don't think she will intentionally cause trouble but I'm betting she is wanting the baby since she can't have the father. As someone said a few days ago -- shades of Adriana's mother & Honorio.

Cheryl -- great photos yesterday I didn't see them in the morning when I commented but I caught them late last night. You have quite a gift.in

I saw the actor playing Agustin on an afternoon show -- quite handsome and totally different looking without his jaw jutting.

Just a few secs to bop in today at lunch - you are all so awesome to get these recaps up. I got home late from work so missed the first 20 minutes. So appreciate the info on what happened.

Can I just say I am now at the point where I would like to yank Dr. Basooms by that blasted pony tail of hers. Betcha she, well the writers, are going to pull that old plot devise of "Jero needs to do the morally correct thing and marry me". Rubbish...and of course Padre will be front and center on that. One can take responsibility outside marriage--that's just my opinion.

Dona - I'm fed up with Berta too. Not to wish her actually Dead I guess, but I find nothing appealing about her spiled brat attitude anymore. She could change, she just doesn't want to. She thinks it's fun the way she is.

Going to hate smug-faced Augustin tonight. Hope I can flip to a ball game or something if it gets too painful to watch.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who chipped in to create a great recap. I didn't see the episode and was sorry to have missed the Roberta/Fina interplay. By Audrey's vivid description - Roberta is so clearly Fina's spawn.

I am fervantly hoping Renata dumps Augie, despite the pregnancy news.

And yes, ITA with everyone who is wondering where and how poor Chema is. If nothing else, I hope his illness gives Adri a chance to retthink choosing "Mopias" (I just love these clever names)...

Diana

Audrey, Susanita, Chuchi: great job. Thanks for pitching in.

Dona: I keep looking for a sign that Berta is becoming affected by Gina's treatment of her, but so far nada. But still hoping. I'm with daisynjay, don't want her dead--yet.

Julia: Re: Cons. They are so ready to tell her to be calm. Maybe letting her talk would help speed up her recovery?!. I haven't see her collapse yet because she wasn't tranquilla.

Daisynjay: I'm with you. I'm dreading tonight. Might just wait until tomorrow and read the recap first to prepare myself.

Robey

To the Padre, Renata is still Jero's wife, since the Catholic Church does not recognize civil divorces. He's been trying to tell Tatas that Jero is still married all along...... (not to mention that Padre recognized Jero was still not over Renata).

Audrey

Thanks to everyone who stepped up with the details of this episode.

At least Dr. Tatas asserted that she had used some sort of contraception, noting that nothing is 100%.

I don't think that she will insist that Jero step up and do the right thing, but I'll bet that Renata does.

I'm enjoying watching Robi trying to be the naughty child. She's not all that good at it, but it was fun to watch her looking at the reduced image of Fina fuming on the computer screen as Regina played adoring mommy. It is also a treat to watch her taunt Augie.

I'm beginning to worry about Gitana a bit. As best I recall, she is at Augie's place, which is not ideal, but I think that she'd be less safe in DF right now.

Carlos

If Gitana is at Augie's place he could have done something to the horse to get Renata back to Ensenada. That probably hasn't occurred to him. I can't remember if Gitana is at Cruz Sin Amor or La Bonita.

Carlos: "I don't think that she will insist that Jero step up and do the right thing, but I'll bet that Renata does." I agree. Of course, it isn't necessarily the "right" thing to marry her, but I can't see Nata marrying Jero because of this--she would believe the child deserves her/his parents together. Though she's seen what a loveless marriage can do. What a dilemma!

Robey

This is completely off topic.

Our PBS station has a show called The Territory (which I think is produced locally) which features short films from all over. Last night the show included this very short film called What's a Virgin?"

I found it on Youtube and thought that you guys would enjoy it as much as I did.

Carlos

Carlos: Very funny!! The little girl was adorable.

KCET has a four part series every year of short student films. Some of them are quite good, too.

Robey

Started to watch your short film, Carlos, and right in the middle our entire power went out! including that of the whole block. No way am I watching the rest of it!

I really, really hope that by some miracle my dvr caught on to the schedule change and recorded last night. You guys did a fabulous tag team job though, and managed to get us a near complete recap. You all rock!

I cannot find any complete episodes online. I did find this Jero y Renata video of their reconciliation which is a mix of Monday and Tuesday night. So, if anyone else is like me and was aching to see the lovey dovey stuff between Jero and Nata during their reconciliation, here it is: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xjcklt_cme-renata-y-jeronimo-parte-76-reconciliacion_people

Since I've only seen the lovey dovey scenes from this episode, that's all I can comment on. I loved the scene in the kitchen as Jero and Nata teased each other and Jero chased and tickled Nata. I am so sad to think it will all end very soon when the Marina Baby Bomb drops. I missed tonight's episode as well, so I will wait eagerly to read the recap.

thanks Vivi for the info. I missed yesterdays show and now i feel a bit caught up.

Carlos...brilliant!! I guess it pays to ask kids exactly what they mean prior to providing long explanations. Poor kid didn't seem to have a clue what mummy was on about.

Thanks to TEAM CME, you guys rock. Sorry I wasn't around to help but had a performance to attend. Everyone pitched in to help each other. It makes me proud to be a part of this group, but I was already. There are such fun, clever participants.

I know the developments are necessary evils of a telenovela but I cringe when Marina says she LOST Jero when she never had him in her possession and Augie is even worse. He is actually planning to be a nasty tyrant when he finally OWNS Renata. Roberta has disappointed me almost all the way through but I am glad to see the sideways looks of Honorio, Matias and occasionally Gonzo slips and lets his face tell the truth that Roberta is such an unlikely candidate for Regina's daughter.

I am ready for Adriana and Matias (no longer Mopias) to frolic in the Sea of Cortez. That may be our next and only romance and laughter scenes for some time.

I forgot to thank Carlos for the Virgen on youtube. That is so funny I am howling. I think we need more good news like that for all CME fans.

I am not looking forward to Chema's demise. He was a fun, sexy diversion for a lot of episodes. I guess I need a I Miss Chema t-shirt if I can get one made up in Turkish toweling to mop up the tears.
