RELACIONES PELIGROSAS, Part 1

Okay, now I think we ARE in a new phase. Miranda has to make a choice, whether to tell Mauricio about the baby she's expecting, and I think she'll keep quiet about it. Here's why.

After she faints, JP gets her into his car. She says we can't go to the nearby hospital, we have to go the far away people's clinic. Once there, it doesn't take longer for the doctors to start talking about her pregnancy, and JP is right there. He tells the staff her name is Miranda Reyes (his last name). The doc gave her an injection of something, and this saved the baby's life. In fact, if they had arrived 20 minutes later, the baby would have died!

The doc gives her folic acid, iron supplements and a few more things, and says she has to stay calm. JP pays the bill ($5,000!) in cash. He then confronts her - who is the father? She tells him everything, it's Mauricio, they only had sex twice, she didn't know he was underage the first time, the second time it was legal. He's somewhat shocked, but maintains his cool. He asks if she wants to tell Patty (no), and if she'll tell Mauricio (we don't know yet). The only "good" think from the viewers' standpoint is that the doc says no more sex, too risky for the baby, so JP will have to aguantar as to that.

By the end of the episode, Miranda is so grateful to JP she invites him to live with her. Her apartment just happens to have another spare room.

What about the other characters? Orlando is getting closer to uncovering the drug thing. He talks to Andres, why did drugs from your company wind up in Cervantes? Andres says ask Victor. Orlando does, and while Victor denies, denies, denies, he's very nervous, and Orlando seems to notice this.

Meanwhile, Javier tells Gonzalo, the guys arriba don't like leaks. Indio, Gia, Billy are all dead. We're next! Maybe they'll first send a message, like a family member (look out, Benita!) Ana interviews Gonzo about the drugs, says she knows he's involved, it's only a matter of time before she can prove it.

Nora tells Diego her Mom saw Miranda at the clinic (she says she went for vacuna (vaccination). They wonder if Miranda is pregnant. When they kiss, Alejo sees, and doesn't like it.

Joaco is working as Ricardo's chauffeur, but that means he's also at the chemical facility where Ricardo and Patty are working on the new formula, so he has time to flirt with Patty. Orlando wants Patty and Ricardo to analyze the drugs that caused the kids' death. Again, I think they'll realize it's just like the one they're working on.

RELACIONES PELIGROSAS, Part 2

Leo shows Liz his belt marks, left by dear ol Dad. Liz wonders if he's thought of filing a complaint. Thousands of times, sure, but I can't hurt my Mom. But does your Dad beat her, too? Leo admits it, but the two decide to keep both their secrets for now, his beatings, and her eating disorder stuff. Back at school, Gonzo again gets jealous as those two were both absent.

Julia wasn't lying. Hector tells Santi and her that little Bea has a form of leukemia. The only cure is a bone marrow transplant. They each only have a small chance of being a donor match. But you know what would be a perfect match? If Julia and Santi have another child! The child would almost certainly be a match. Santi doesn't like this, and in vitro is so expensive, so Julia wants to make the child the old fashioned way! Santi sadly breaks the news to Ana, right after she says she loves him.

Olivia tells Carmen that if Mau gets his emancipated status, that could end the case, and Mau and Miranda could openly be together. Carmen wants to stop this at all costs. Olivia has a plan, and Carmen agrees to help. Mau sees them conniving, but doesn't know what it's about. I'm sure it's sneaky.

So, in what I'm calling a new phase, it looks as if everything might go wrong for Mau - JP and Miranda will be living together, and he probably won't know about the baby. When he does find out, Miranda could lie and say it's JP's baby. Plus, Olivia's plan sounds sinister. All this is just speculation, but even though Mauricio is the smartest young telenovela character ever, will he be able to find out what's going on? How in the world is he going to get his scholarship, preserve his love, find out about the baby, and make sure it's not taken away? It's a tall order.

Whoa...the things you miss thanks to hockey...!

So Miranda's now had her requisite one scare WRT her pregnancy. That should ensure the baby's survival under normal circumstances, if I remember my Novelalandia rulebook correctly, but in this case...would they really give her a child by a minor before said minor's status changes, either due to age or emancipation? The drama's in the pregnancy, not the child (yet)--and we've still got JP and Miranda playing house and whatever the hell Olivia and Carmen's plan is for derailing Mauricio's plan to look forward to on top of that.

And now that you've said it ("look out, Benita!")...if Gonzo's chickens have to come home to roost, it's probably a given that they'll somehow spare him and end up taking out someone else close to him. Benita is probably the most obvious target, though I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be Bob or even Emily.

CORAZÓN VALIENTE – VIERNES – Part 1

Juan Marcos and The Rat stage a testosterone contest at the police station. A lawyer named Gerardo Campos shows up telling the Rat to close his lips over his too white and rather frightening dentadura. This is the mouthpiece that Vicente arranged, with the fees being secretly paid by Fernanda.

Was there ever any doubt that Willy’s new guardaespaldas would be a woman? She’s a rather severe looking, but pretty, Frida Brown. Willy has on the same shit eating grin as his aging lothario papí. Frida announces that she’s the best, having protected movie stars, politicians, etc. Sam shakes her hand and says she's leaving Willy in good hands.

Violeta further removes any sympathy we might have for her by showing up in Génesis’ room saying that it’s G’s fault that her father is a prisoner. She demands that her family leave this house. She tells Génesis that she’s taken her mother, her father (in jail) and now her abuela. She resents the fact that Estela has been asked by Ángela to care for G while she goes to the jail. Génesis starts to cry, really upset at the loss of her friendship. I’ve come to the conclusion that rat genes trump human ones and that Violeta is going to be exactly like her father: dumb, possessive, and vindictive.

JM tells Marshall that Campos is very well known and his fees are enormous. How can Luis afford to pay? Someone else must be footing the bill.

The Rat says he bought the rosary. The Reptile shows up at the jail. [Can we have any scene without her flouncing into it?] She drapes herself all over JM again, but has to walk a fine line about not taking his side too noticeably in front of the Rat, who knows her secrets. Marshall is struck dumb, his mouth open.

Génesis gets some comfort from Peralta in her post-Ratita misery. She tells him she’s afraid of losing Ángela.

Sam is bringing Arturo to her new apartment when a guy gives her a package. Arturo seems to be trained as a bomb detector because he starts barking furiously. Sam opens it up and sees a not yet armed bomb inside.

Ofelia delivers an identical package to Willy. Frida wisely tells him not to open it. She does so and discovers the same thing, a bomb that isn’t ready to explode. Meanwhile Sam thinks Willy’s may have been real and, when he fails to answer his cell, she drives recklessly toward his house, getting in an accident on the way.

Ángela shows up at the jail, and JM tells her that the cops went to see the person Luis says he bought the rosary from. Sure enough, some sleazy looking guy shows up and points his finger at JM, saying he was the one who told him to sell Luis the rosary. Ángela appears to believe this.

CORAZÓN VALIENTE – VIERNES – Part 2

Emma fakes a severe pain in order to get a massage from Peralta. Nelly, of course, shows up and sees Emma in her undies with Peralta. She rushes out, but Peralta convinces her there wasn’t anything going on.

Ángela does the stock telenovela business of speaking to the Rat outside his jail cell. This always bugs me when it’s a novela in modern times. I’m sure family members don’t go into the actual cells to speak with their imprisoned loved ones. The Rat does a pretty good acting job relating how JM set a trap for him with the rosary. He says he was dreaming of how she’d look wearing that rosary on their wedding day. He then swears on his daughter that he’s telling the truth.

Later Ángela glares at JM. It appears that the dummy believes the violent, jealous maniac she’s married to instead of the rather kind and noble man she now loves. Bah! She tells JM she’s confused. The Rat swore on their child that he was telling the truth. JM says that he’s not going to swear on his. If he has to swear on his child for her to believe him, then that means she doesn’t trust him. She should go ahead and marry Luis in the church.

Marshall goes to the lab and gets the cat hair analysis: positivo. I fear his life expectancy just dropped precipitously.

Luis is released and talking things over with the Reptile. We see the typical villain psychological profile. While constantly professing his love for the protagonist, he is overcome by lust when he’s around the antagonist female.

Bernie drives me nuts. Every time he’s in a room with a woman, unless it’s Ofelia, he moves in too close, seemingly unable to have a conversation with an even halfway attractive woman without touching her. He’s leering at Estela and asking what happened to her friendship with Perla. He gets it out of her that Perla and her husband were lovers.

Ángela says she’s no longer confused. She says she’s sure. And that she’ll never forgive JM. He gives her a cold look and tells her he was very mistaken about her and then walks off. Now she says: Perdon…. Perdon…..Perdon. Porque se duele tanto el amor. [What? Now she’s telling him she believes Luis to protect him?]

Bernie uses the info from Estela to threaten Perla with telling Darío about their relationship if she doesn’t tell him where his grandson is.

Marshall has the Reptile come to his apartment. She’s expecting the normal worship of her “Body by Fisher – that is Dr. Fisher”. [I have to interject something here. Revealing my age, I remember GM bragging that their cars had "Body by Fisher, famous car designers. When googling this out of curiosity, I discovered a California plastic surgeon whose web site is www.bodybyfisher.com.]

Marshall, however, tells her she’s a demon. He goes on to say he knows she's a killer and that he has to tell his superiors.

She goes for him, but he pulls a gun on her. Just then JM calls him on his cell. Marshall tells him he knows the name of his parents’ killer. How is the Reptile going to get out of this one? It would be the greatest telenovela moment in history if he told JM, handcuffed the witch, and we don’t see her again until the trial. And she’s declared guilty at the trial. Sadly, she’s sure to get out of it somehow.

CORAZÓN VALIENTE- Great recap of a real bummer of an episode. The bad guys had it all their way. How quickly our good opinion of Marshall went down the toilet. Why on earth would be meet alone in his apartment with someone he knows is a murderer? Of course, he's not got going to be able to tell JM about Fernanda nor do I expect him to survive Monday's episode.

Ángela was very disappointing in believing Luis's lies and Violeta is an obnoxious one-tune Charlie. Why is Génesis is bed all the time? Shouldn't she be in wheelchair or something?

I was thinking exactly the same thing about Bernie. Why is he all over every female that comes into the house except Ofelia?

Grrrrr!

CORAZON VALIENTE:

Thanks for the recap, Novelera. I totally agree, Violeta is like a little version of Luis (I noticed you called her Ratita :)

As for Marshall, the problem is that actually is smitten by Fernanda (apparently that part wasn't fake, as weird as it seems), so it's difficult for him to turn her in. So either 1) the Reptile will hiss and he'll put down his gun and get some lovin', which we could view as her attempt to "Court Marshall", or 2) she has a gun or a knife, and so much for the Marshall Plan.

Didn't Sam and Willy make love again? Maybe that was the day before. He did meet her when she had a little bandaid on her forehead, the only fallout from her car accident. Those two are so much fun to watch, taunting each other, but not being able to resist each other.

what happened agian when willy went to go see samantha in the hospital?

CORAZÓN VALIENTE

Janae101, I don't precisely remember the hospital scene. Willy got a call that Sam was in the hospital. This was a typical "create suspense" telenovela move. We spend a bit of time wondering if she's really hurt. Then all she has is a bandage on her forehead. She runs to embrace Willy, overjoyed he's OK. They kind of tease each other a bit, and that's that.

Hombre, LOVED "Court Marshall" and "Marshall Plan"!!!

The two recent times I remember Sam and Willy making love were, and we assume this because they didn't show it, in the plane before Eugenia arrives and in Mexico in the same bed where they both lost their virginity.

If they've been together since being back in the US, I don't remember it. And, yes, these two are wonderful together. So much more fun to watch than the constantly guilt-stricken Ángela when JM puts some moves on her.

CORAZON VALIENTE:

Thank you so much for the recap Novelera. I like your digs at Violeta. Although she gets on my nerves, since I gave Genesis a break for some of her bratty behavior, I figure I should give Violeta a break too. But not for long if she keeps this up.

Sam and Willy did not make love. They kissed in the hospital and then in her new apt. But then they were interrupted by his new bodyguard. Sam is happy that the new bodyguard is so proficient, but she gets on Willy's nerves. Sam is amused by this and teases him. She knows he's in good hands, so he doesn't need her anymore. Willy says he doesn't need her as a bodyguard, but he needs her as his woman (mi mujer). The dog also seems to be possesive of Sam and pushes his way between them.

I was glad to see that Peralta isn't falling for Emma's games, nor is Nelly. She needs to stop acting like a spoiled baby, and maybe then Peralta will take her seriously.

I was really mad at Angela when it seemed like she was believing the Rat's story that JM tried to frame him. I am now only annoyed that she is just pretending for the sake of love. The thing is, if she believes the Rat is capable of setting this up to make JM look guilty, and therefor possibly having something to do with the death of JM's parents, why would she want her child or herself to be anywhere near that scum?! If she's trying to protect JM, shouldn't she also protect herself and Violeta from that loony?

CORAZON:

I really like the scenes of Peralta and Genesis together. He really connects easily with her, like Angela did. Is this forshadowing since he may be her uncle some day?

Thank u so much and i must say i have been reading this "el mundo de telemundo" since flor salvaje was on air and i have to say u are amazing with the summary's and love ur feed backs as well, im african american and i love these Spanish soap operas I've been watching them since i was 7 my first one was Gata salvage. and thanks for replying back.

Welcome Janae101 Glad you enjoy the blog. My first novela was Gata Salvaje, too. It was a hoot but I have always had a fondness for Mario Cimarro and Marlene Favela.

CORAZON VALIENTE:

Novelera - thanks for the amusing recap (i.e. "I fear his life expectancy just dropped precipitously.") I don't even want to guess what'll happen to him tonight.

Vivi in DC - I love every scene Peralta is in. and thank heavens he's being strong in not giving in to Emma. I can't stand the stunts she tries to pull. although I can hardly wait to see them 'together.'

I am totally smitten by Jon Ecker. I googled him, and found out he was the lead in MTV Tr3s novela called Popland. so I've been watching 2episodes per day online. It's a teeny-bopper show, but he is just too cute. I'm glad he's not too young (27), or I'd be labeled a pedophile.

GENERAL

Deb, thanks for the news bulletin and for dropping by.

Iván Sánchez!!!!

He's hot, hot hot. They'll probably need voice coaches to wash the European Spanish accent out of him.

And that sounds like a good cast. I'm thinking it must be the replacement for Relaciones Peligrosas, since the mystery/thriller ones usually air at 10 pm.

CORAZÓN VALIENTE

Since Monday is a good day for me, I'll recap tonight.

CORAZÓN VALIENTE – LUNES – Part 1

The Reptile hypnotizes her prey while he speaks to Juan Marcos on his cell phone. She moves in seductively, knees him in the groin and then bashes him in the head with a bookend. This doesn’t kill Detective Marshall. He gets to his feet woozily and listens to her raving about those she killed deserving to die. When he asks if he deserves to die, she predictably shoots him over and over. She actually seems sorry for the first time. Later she and the Rat burn up his corpse, saying no one can ever find him.

Ángela tries to convince the Ratita that they should stay at Casa Arroyo for a while for Génesis’ sake. Said Ratita pouts and says her mother doesn’t love her much, manipulating for all she’s worth. She says she hopes her mother is here for Génesis. If she were here because of Juan Marcos, she’d never forgive her.

Perla denies the affair with Miguel, but Bernie grabs her and tells her she’d better tell him all about his grandchild. She says she brought him to an orphanage and that’s all she knows. [Hmm. I thought she said she saw him a few times until he was adopted.]

While Frida and Sam are comparing notes on bodyguard assignments, the doorbell to Sam’s apartment rings. It’s the private detective, Ledesma, saying he has news about Lucas. Frida has hustled Willy out of sight, but he hears what the guy says about Lucas. Willy wants to know who Lucas is. She tells him he’s the person she went to the Valle de Bravo to find. Naturally, like all TN galanes, Willy gets jealous.

Emma gets into the shower with Peralta. There’s some passionate kissing. And I’m thinking: “Good move, Emma; no way Nelly can interrupt.” Unfortunately Nelly does come to the door and says something about the señorita wanting her to come to his room. So Peralta realizes it’s another of Emma’s tricks.

Sam comes to thank Bernie for his help with the private detective. He embraces her, and Willy comes in just then. Sam approaches him and tells him that his father had helped her in her quest to find Lucas, her son. Her father stole her baby when he was just born!

Ángela comes in to talk with JM about not being able to find Marshall. He almost cries, saying he can’t stand living with this fear, fear of someone doing harm to his loved ones. When she puts her arm around him in comfort, the Ratita appears, snarling at him to let go of her mother. When Ángela tries to explain about comforting JM, who has just lost both his parents and his wife, the little brat makes her promise never to embrace him again.

Willy asks Sam why she didn’t tell him she had a child. She said they took him when he was born and it was too painful to talk about. She also says she didn’t think Willy would be interested. He gives her a soulful look and tells her everything about her interests him. When he tries to ask more questions, Frida comes in and keeps insisting he needs to fill her in on his day’s activities and RIGHT NOW.

CORAZÓN VALIENTE – LUNES – Part 2

When Willy goes to do Frida’s bidding, Bernie starts talking her out of telling Willy the truth. He says he wants him to know the truth but not when his life is in danger. [Liar, liar, pants on fire!]

The Reptile has some kind of trophy in a box of Marshall. She tells the Rat to review Marshall’s file about the case of JM’s parents’ murder and also to get busy on those wedding plans.

When Willy comes back to talk with Sam, he asks how old the boy is. She says he’s eight. [This is to throw him off the scent; the boy is 14 or 15.] He asks why a person as strong as she is would let this happen, and she tells him she was ill after the birth and couldn’t prevent it. When he asks why she didn’t report him to the authorities, she says it was because she was afraid he’d do something worse. She also tells him that her mother kept quiet about it, like always.

What???? The scumbag detective, Ledesma, is also being paid by Darío. He tells the guy that he’ll let him know what to tell Sam.

Nelly tells Emma in the kitchen that she won’t let her ruin their love. In a very sarcastic way, Emma tells her she’s fired. When Peralta rags on him, she tells him she admits she fired Nelly for jealousy. She tells him he’s the white light of her life, calming her and that he’s also the red light of her life, her heart, and her love. How can she let him go?

JM roars up in his car to the Rat and the Reptile. He pulls a gun on the Rat and orders him to tell him where he got the rosary. Fernanda grabs for the gun. A shot rings out!

Willy wants to know who’s the father. She won’t tell him. When he asks if she loved the father, she said very much . [God, this is frustrating. Why does she have to hurt him like that?]

Perla has come to talk with Bernie, at his request. He says he doesn’t want the boy to appear any more than she does. He tells her this is because it would unite Sam and Willy, and he doesn’t want them together. [I knew it!!] He then taunts her again about how beautiful and desirable her daughter is. He tells her Sam’s flesh is firm, and does she even remember how that was? He says he wants Sam with every fiber of his being. Boy, I hate this guy!

The one who was shot was Fernanda. In the hospital Luis makes sure a cop overhears him talking to Ángela and saying that JM went nuts and came after him with a gun. But when the cop appears to arrest him, the Reptile makes up a story about how she thought there was going to be an assault on them and she grabbed the gun in fear and accidentally shot herself.

For a slight wound in her reptile skin [She’ll probably shed that one soon anyway.], Fernanda is rewarded by JM fussing over her and saying he’ll stay the night with her.

Perla raves at Estela for telling Bernie about she and Miguel. They just about get into a cat fight.

Willy punches out Darío in a bar and tells him it’s because he stole Sam’s baby from her. The miserable SOB tells him that Sam actually abandoned her baby.

Luis shows up at Casa Arroyo badmouthing Luis, saying he’s crazy, and that he’s come to take she and Violeta away.

Wow great recap a lot has been going on... i personally think that willy should at least know the truth and at the same time i think samantha should but wont tell him maybe because if one Mafioso men's find out that the 14 or 15 years old boy blood runs in willy who is their main target might be at risk like his father. i have a feeling that when willy finds out he will get furious becuase he told samantha once that he doesnt like lies and might beat up dario some more.. im loving this novela so much right know wish i was Spanish so i would understand it more!

CORAZÓN VALIENTE - LUNES

Must have been half asleep putting up that recap.

Corrections:

When Peralta rags on her [not him], she admits ...

Luis shows up at Casa Arroyo badmouthing Juan Marcos [not Luis].

CORAZON VALIENTE:

Great recap, Novelera. Thanks! I think the "trophy" Fernanda had in that little box was Marshall's ashes! (could be wrong).

For being the "best detective in LA", that Ledesma sure is corrupt, allowing himself to be bought by Bernie, than rebought by Dario.

RELACIONES PELIGROSAS:

This may be short, as I don't have much time today. I'm starting to believe Olivares, who tells someone (can't remember who) that JP seduced his daughter Laura, and used that to steal Olivares' money, and then killed her. Then he seduced Marta to become his accomplice. Now he's seducing Miranda, and she could end up dead, too. Yeah, but Miranda doesn't have money so this doesn't totally make sense.

Andres shows Victor a list of people who have to be "silenced". I think it includes Ricardo, Patty, Miranda, and maybe someone else. Not good. Victor apparently has sent a thug to terrorize Gonzo and him Mom (but didn't tell Andres this). I think Andres knows half of the dirty stuff, but not everything Victor is doing. The thug ties up Gonzo and Benita. Gonzo gets free, fights with the guy, and while Benita has fainted, accidentally KILLS him (he went back against something sharp sticking out from the wall :) Gonzo has to dispose of the body. He hides it from his Mom, but the shock has made him much closer to Benita.

Mau doesn't trust JP either, especially when he hears he's moving into Miranda's place. But Miranda feels she owes so much to JP, who's behaving like a perfect gentleman. Maybe not, as he takes a few of her sleeping pills for some new plan.

Joaco agrees with Mau that he doesn't trust JP. Meanwhile, he and Patty are hitting it off, and she has a new look! (took off the glasses, hair not so ruffled).

Victor seems to be seducing Yesenia!

Julia and Gilberto almost have sex, to "pay back" their cheating spouses. But they stop just in time.

If I remember more, I'll be back.

CORAZON VALIENTE:
Thanks so much for the great recap Novelera. I was a bit disappointed that Peralta seemed to be giving in to Emma in the shower, but impressed that he and Nelly kept their cool when they realized it was yet another trick by Emma. Time for her to change tactics already.

Looks like JM is starting to have feelings of gratitude towards the Reptile. Even if he allows himself to get roped into a relationship with her because of gratitude and because he's mad at Angela, she must realize that he'll never really love her. And that's what she's trying to do-- make him fall madly in love/lust with her and then kill him.

I just don't get Sam's reasons for not telling Willy the truth about Lucas. I will be surprised if Willy believes Dario, but if he does, it serves Sam right for being such a liar.

My patience with Violeta has now run out.

RELACIONES PELIGROSAS:

Olivares was talking to a detective whom JP had hired to check out Miranda's past. Of course, since Olivares is paying "more", the detective breaks all his confidentiality promises. He tells Olivares about the druglords in Mexico who might want revenge on Miranda since her father was a cop who infiltrated their group (and got killed). O thinks maybe the druglords have offered money to locate Miranda here, but the detective doesn't think so.

Liz throws up again. But this wasn't induced by herself after she ate. Since this is a novela, could she be pregnant?

Armando, Santi's father, tells Dr. Hector he wants to be tested for bone marrow compatibility. Even though he could die, he's going to die anyway from his brain tumor, and he'd be happy to be a donor to save little Bea. The cute tyke still hasn't said a word, but she did shake her little curly head yes at one point.

Ana is inclined to give Miranda a second chance, not take away her license, telling Teresa "everyone is entitled to one mistake". Teresa remembers when she herself was young and pretty like Ana, now she has "nothing."

I think Miranda is just about done with the tutoring of Mau (one more session?). Mau is hoping that JP will move out at that point, but I don't think so.....

CORAZÓN VALIENTE

Gracias Novelera.

ugh! Marshall deserved what he got for being so stupid/unprofessional.

CORAZON VALIENTE:

Thanks for another great recap, Novelera.

I particularly liked: For a slight wound in her reptile skin [She’ll probably shed that one soon anyway.], Fernanda is rewarded by JM fussing over her and saying he’ll stay the night with her.

It was amazing how the Reptile could turn JM's impulsive act to her benefit. Luis' face was a study in frustration when he realized that the Reptile deep sixed his plan to get JM arrested.

I agree that the box the Reptile has was supposed to be Marshall's ashes but there is no way that just dousing a body with gasoline would reduce it to the kind of ashes you get at a crematorium.

Of course Sam should tell Willy about their son but not giving important, useful information is the meat and potatoes of novelas.

I am eager to see how we will meet this kid. I am sure that by some amazing coincidence he will cross paths with Willy or Sam.

I'll do tonight's episode.

My goodness, is this Patty/Joaco thing moving at a snail's pace or what?? I suppose it is kind of refreshing in a way, maybe they're building it up to be something serious, but I'd still like to see them move things along a little :) Love them together!!

CORAZÓN VALIENTE-martes

Luis knocks out Diego and pulls a gun on JM in his car. He is very tempted to kill JM especially when JM refuses to say that he will stay away from Ángela. But he remembers the Reptile’s warnings that she will kill Ángela and Violeta if Luis harms JM. Ángela sees what is going on and stops Luis from leaving in JM's car. JM & Luis get in a fight. To protect JM, Ángela promises to marry Luis whenever he wants.

Vincente reads the police report on the cat hair found where Isabel was murdered. The Reptile tells him and Luis to destroy all records of the analysis.

Sol finds a picture of the Reptile when she was an adolescent and looked like a human. She thinks that the Reptile looks familiar. Bernie tells her that she probably saw Fernanda at that time hanging around with her brother.

First, Darío tells Willy that Sam gave her baby away. Darío is surprised that Willy knows about the baby but realizes that Sam hasn’t told Willy that he is the father.

Sam denies Darío’s accusation. Willy confronts Darío in a restaurant & we get this weird camera shot that appears to be someone watching from a concealed position. Willy tells his bodyguard not to interfere with his personal life and to give him some space.

The next day, Willy gets a letter from his stalker describing the scene in the restaurant. I'm beginning to think that it isn't Mafia guy's buddies who are after Willy.

Emma is annoyed to see that Nelly is still at the house. Peralta tells her that only JM can fire Nelly. Peralta finds Emma doubled up on the floor and she says that she has been poisoned by Nelly.

JM tells Ángela that in spite of everything that has happened, he still loves her and he suggests that they have a clandestine affair starting right now in his bedroom. Of course, they are interrupted by Génesis who tries to walk and falls. She says that she wants to be her old self again.

While Emma is in the shower, Peralta finds pills underneath her bed. He confronts her and accuses of poisoning herself using the verb, "intoxicarse." She denies it but not very hard. She says that it is Peralta who intoxicates her. He tells her that if Nelly leaves, he leaves.

Sam goes to see the detective because she hasn’t heard anything from him lately. He leaves her alone in his office while he takes a call on his cell phone. Naturally, she rummages through his files and finds out that a child that could be hers was adopted by a family and taken to San Francisco. She is determined to go to SF immediately.

More fun at Bernie’s house. Willy is trying to get info on Sam from Perla. Estela shows up to give Bernie his medicine and Sol flounces in announcing that she is Bernie’s girlfriend.

When JM tries to reinitiate things back in the bedroom, Ángela demurs. She suggests that Fernanda might be better for JM. They are of the same world and had a romance with her in the past. JM protests to Ángela that he loves her.

Vincente is sucessful in wiping out the report on the evidence of the cat hair on the police lab technician’s computer and Luis runs the technician down in with a car and kills her. Problem solved!!

Emma confesses to Peralta that she OD'd on purpose because she can’t stand it if Peralta doesn’t love her. Later Peralta finds Emma in the pool and confesses that he loves her but somehow they manage not to get together.

Peralta tells Nelly that he loves Emma.

Sam tells Bernie that she is going to SF to look for her son. Willy wants to go with her. When he says that he will do anything for her, she tells him to take care of her dog.

Angela tells her Mom that she is wild with desire for JM. Estela says that she feels the same way for Bernie!

Bernie asks Willy if he wants to know who is the father of her child. If so, he will tell Willy. For sure, he's not going to tell Willy the truth. Do we think that he will that HE is the father?

CORAZON VALIENTE:

Great recap, Jean! I can't guess what Bernie is going to tell Sam. Bernie's a popular guy, with Estela, Perla and Sol all after him (for various reasons).

I'm thinking maybe Bernie himself is sending the threatening letters to Willy, but as for the reason, I have no clue.

I feel a little sorry for Ofelia, who had to clean up Marshall's ashes, and was also openly told that Luis killed the lady who analyzed the cat hairs, but of course can't breathe a word to anyone. But someday.....

CORAZON:

I meant, what Bernie is going to tell Willy!

RELACIONES PELIGROSAS, Part 1

Things are getting a little dicey for our hero. Olivares disguises himself a little, comes to Miranda's as the "new neighbor" and give her a plant. It's got a hidden microphone inside, and he later hears all sorts of juicy stuff. I forgot exactly what he heard, but maybe that Miranda is pregnant, and definitely that she has "enemies".

Other than that, JP's plan works great. He tells Mau to come for his last tutoring session at 8:00. He convinces Miranda to drink some "natural tea" which actually has 2 sleeping pills in it. She goes to bed. Right before 8, he takes off his clothes and slides into bed behind Miranda. He turns the clock back an hour. Mau shows up through the window, and sees the "lovers". JP says why are you early, sorry you interrupted us. Oh, gee, this clock is wrong. Hope you're not uncomfortable.

Mau is shocked. I'm rooting for him to see through JP's trap, but he doesn't. He sadly thinks Mir has betrayed him. He carelessly leaves through the front door, and is seen by Olivia, Patty and Joaco. Olivia later confronts him at the trailer. She could turn him in and get Miranda in big trouble, but she agrees not to, trying to get on Mau's good side. And he is grateful. He also wants to find out more about JP, and she tells him about JP's double identity. Later, Mau asks Joaco for some tools to break in to JP's apartment and check him out.

Gonzo eventually gets the thug he killed (Rafael, Victor's cousin, I think) wrapped in a rug and put in Bob's trunk. The cops almost check this, but he talks his way out of it, and eventually dumps the body off a bridge into some water.

RELACIONES PELIGROSAS, Part 2

Gilberto comes into Ana's office. He's heard that she may not can Miranda, and he's thankful, since that means Patty won't insist that Gil get canned for his DUI's. Ana says she wasn't even thinking about Gil, but tell your prostitutes to be a little more careful about their marks (pointing to a hickey Gil got from Julia!).

Julia messed up, too. She berates Santi about not wanting to have sex with her to produce a child for Bea's bone marrow transport. Armando says there may be another way (he could be a donor) but doesn't say what. But Teresa discovers an earring on her sofa (it was Julia's, left over from when she and Gil were making out). Where have I seen that earring before? Tere asks herself.

Liz is concerning she was throwing up, but not on purpose. Leo says Gonzo could take her to the doctor. But Liz wants Leo to take her. She feels safe and secure (segura) with Leo.

Benita tells Nena how her son saved her from that thug (she thinks the thug ran away). She'd do anything for her son. Nena agrees, the love of a mother for her son is the strongest of all (they cut to Miranda talking to herself about how she's happy now, with her (unborn) son, who now gives her life meaning and purpose.

Herbert (the chauffeur) tells Victor that the thug they hired disappeared.

Victor takes Yesenia to dinner at a fine restaurant and gives her an expensive watch. I'm not liking this.

JP visits Cortez the lawyer, and tells him Miranda is pregnant with Mau's kid. He then bribes Cortez (who readily agrees) to convince Mir not to tell Mau. Cortez goes to see Miranda, says the court just happened to order a pregnancy test, today, you have no problem with that, do you? Miranda freaks, tells him she's pregnant, and he says don't tell Mau no matter what. Oh, and by the way, I can cancel that pregnancy test with some legal mumbo jumbo.

Cortez does say that if the baby was conceived in Georgia, Miranda's in the clear! JP wants to make sure Miranda never thinks of this. He seems to really love Miranda (said, forgive me when he got into bed with her drugged out body), but what's his real goal??

CORAZÓN VALIENTE - MARTES

Thanks, Jean! Excellent recap.

I know that the insane jealousy of telenovela protagonists is de rigueur but really? Luis doesn't think of Fernanda's threats to kill Ángela AND Ratita until he has the gun at JM's temple prepared to blow his brains out?

I have an awful feeling Bernie is going to tell Willy that Sam's baby is his. The fact that Sam lied and said the kid was eight would make Sam 22 when this "happened" neatly getting Bernie off the hook for statutory rape.

Bernie told Sol clearly what he'd alluded to before: that he'd spent a boatload of bucks on plastic surgery for the Reptile, changing her looks completely. I'm pretty sure that was a completely different actor shown in flashbacks killing Gonzalo.

More delayed sexual consummation. Except for the Reptile and the Rat [and these two could possibly pass muster as mating in the wild on a National Geographic special], this TN has been PG rated all the way. When Peralta is close to Emma in the pool and tells her he loves her, she jumps to some off-the-wall conclusion that he's said it out of pity.

It's pretty crazy the way the Reptile isn't more careful about who knows about her crimes. So far the living witnesses are Vicente, Ofelia, Bernie, and Luis. And everybody keeps her secrets!

Why oh why did Sam have to go tell Bernie about Lucas being in San Francisco? He now has plenty of time to foil her plans.

I guess we could have guessed about Estela. She makes me nauseous the way she simpers over Bernie every time she gives him a pill.

Corazon:

Thanks for all the great recaps!

I thought it was funny when Estella showed up at JM's and complained that she tried calling Angela but couldn't reach her. Angela replied, "It's been a complicated day!" LOL! Poor JMs been threw the wringer and Angela is always one step behind him with all the drama.

Curious about Willy having a body guard that annoys him, but he doesn't share the threatening letters...HUM. I like his inner reflections on it and he seems to be taking "Live everyday like it may be your last" to heart. Also, he laid into the body guard about interfering with his personal business and wants her to back offer.

I have a feeling the boy in SF isn't the right kid. Too easy, but should be fun watching the reactions.

Jean, Novelera, Hombre, everyone who has commented: thanks! Always plenty of interesting theories to ponder here. Never thought about Bern telling Sam that he was the father of Sam's baby. I did however wonder if Willy's new bodyguard Frida Brown is working for the bad guys, she seemed so insistent on knowing his schedule.
Also, interesting that Bern would worry about Sol recognizing Fern if she has been transformed through plastic surgery?

CORAZÓN SALVAJE – MIÉRCOLES

This is going to be short. Please feel free to expand on it.

Bernie lies to his supposedly adored son, telling him that the father of Sam’s child was one of the bodyguards she worked with and that she was madly in love with him.

Nelly tells Emma that Peralta broke it off with her and asks her not to hurt him.

The wedding date of Ángela and the Rat is set for one month.

Emma tries to impress Peralta with her domestic skills, making a pretty rotten breakfast and leaving a big mess for Nelly to clean up.

Willy tries to be a better man, settling down to work at the office.

Sam shows up in San Francisco, saying that she’s the mother of this woman’s child, Martin. The woman proves she’s the biological mother of Martin. Later, this Valeria has a phone conversation with Bernie, where she wants to know why she had to lie to Sam about working in that adoption agency. Evil Bernie tells Ledesma that this was his plan to get Sam to trust Ledesma, because Ledesma called Sam while she was still at Valeria’s house, saying he made a mistake.

JM is in the office in tears, remembering the death of his parents and thinking about A’s wedding. The reptile swoops in saying the classic antagonist’s lines: I don’t want anything in return, only to be your friend.

Luis shows up with a wedding dress for Ángela that the Ratita spotted on the way to school. He is all over her again, licking his rat chops over the thought of having her in his bed again. He squints at her and asks if she ever had sex with JM. She replies never.

At least the Ratita is not being so awful to Génesis. The two girls ask Ángela to try on her wedding dress, and of course JM shows up to suffer some. The girls want him to give Angie away! Luis, of course, loves the idea of having JM’s heart broken at the church.

Later JM is drunk in his office. The Reptile shows up and slithers all over him. Gah!

CORAZON VALIENTE: Thanks, Novelera! I think you got most of it. Why on earth did Sam announce that she was the kid's biological mother right in front of him? The poor kid. She should: 1) have made sure that he is the right kid; and 2) once shw was are sure, break it to the kid gradually.

But I'm not sure I understand what happened. Did Ledesma on Bernie's orders let Sam find the false information in his office? Why would Sam trust Ledesma if he is so incompetent that he would believe that the biological child of an employee of the orphanage and who is the incorrect is Sam's child. And what is Darío's role in this? Is Ledesma working for Bernie or Darío?

The Reptile didn't just slither all over JM. She gave him a beaver shot and she probably wears a thong or nothing at all. Yuck. Drunk JM will probably do something stupid though, like have sex with her.

Sol was trying to be the lady (duena) of the house ordering Ofelia and Estela around and annoying the Reptile. Sol tells Bernie that she loves him and wants some kind of commitment. Bernie temporizes and flashes back to the women that he believes he has/had some affection for: Isabel and Sam (as opposed to the women he just has sex with like Perla).

RELACIONES PELIGROSAS, Part 1

Just about everything worked out in favor of the bad guys in this episode. JP talks to Miranda's ob-gyn, who says Miranda is 4 weeks pregnant. Drat! thinks JP, the baby's "legal". So he offers the doc a wad of cash to tell Miranda she's 2 months pregnant (even though Mir probably had her period in the interim, but let's not quibble). The doc TAKES THE MONEY (doesn't ANYONE have ethics?). He later presents Miranda with a (phony) paper showing she's 2 months pregnant. Miranda is destroyed. Now Mauricio can NEVER know. She calls her Mom, who says "How come if you did it in one state it's totally fine, and in another it's ten years in jail?" Good question.

Miranda just wants to get away, to escape to Mexico. But Mom has a friend who says to Mom "No! if she comes back, those drug lords will kill her!"

Victor is really dating Yesenia because he likes babes, not for any work related thing. Andres tells him every time he dates someone, they end up dead (like Gia). This doesn't look good for Yesi, who receives another present from Vic, a dress.

Andres tells Vic, this time, let's test the drugs on high school kids in California. Miami is too hot, with that prosecutor Aragon (Orlando) checking everything. So, this means Andres DOES know about the drugs that killed Rodrigo and friend, and was "trying them out" on kids at Cervantes!

Liz tells Yesi that Leo makes her fell safe, whereas with Gonzo, it's like falling off a cliff. But they both agree if Liz went with Leo, Gonzo would go ape.

Vic's cousin Rafael's body is found in the creek. Benita found blood on the floor, and Bob's friends said Gonzo stole Bob's car. Benita lies on the phone and tells Bob his car is still there, but when Gonzalo comes home, she confronts him with all this. They see the thug's mug on the news, and Gonzo admits to his Mom he accidentally killed the guy!

RELACIONES PELIGROSAS, Part 2

Gonzo tells Benita we can't call the cops, even though it was self-defense, because the guys responsible will want revenge. What guys? He can't tell, but his Mom realizes he's mixed up in something so dangerous it could get both of them killed! Bob and Emily could also be in danger, although they don't know it.

Patty overhears a bit of talking between JP and Miranda, but doesn't yet know Miranda's pregnant. But she's knows they're hiding something.

Olivia visits Yesi, "you're the one who sent me the nude picture of Miranda!". Yesi says what makes you say that? Olivia had borrowed some scotch tape, which had Yesi's fingerprints, which matched prints on the photo. Clever cop. Olivia tells Yesi she might need witnesses, and Yesi could help put Miranda away for good!

Carmen visits Orlando, ragging on him for his machismo, just like Manuel, boys will be boys attitude. Orlando says look, I lost my son, Sebastian is talking about moving to Washington DC with his mother, I've got no one. Shouldn't you try to save your family, not blame everyone? This makes Carmen think.

Mauricio sneaks into JP's apartment and sees Ignacio, the one-armed buy, whom he remembers. He's able to not be detected. While he's there, Ignacio gets a call from JP, look out for anyone trying to get into my apartment. He writes a note on a sticky, puts it on the computer.

Olivares keeps hearing all sorts of juicy things from the flowerpot/mike. He now knows Miranda is pregnant with Mau's baby. Patty comes home, puts the flowers in water, and that's the end of the mike! But Olivares comes over AGAIN, and sneaks another mike under a table. Later, JP asks Miranda if any neighbor has visited. Well, yes, that nice man Mr. Conti. JP is incensed.

He goes over to Olivares' apartment, pulls the gun. While he's there, Mau sneaks into Miranda's and confronts her. "I came into your bedroom last night and you were in bed with JP. Did you have sex with him? If you tell me yes, I'll never bother you again". Miranda thinks to herself, now that I know the baby's "illegal", this is my chance to get Mau to stay away. She tells Mau, Yes, I slept with him! Mau is destroyed, and runs away in shock.

Over at Olivares', they two guys heard this, and they also hear Miranda sobbing. So, says Oli, she REALLY loves the kid, and not you! JP clocks him with his gun, and destroys the listening equipment.

OMG!

RELACIONES:

I forgot one thing. Mauricio took the sticky from Ignacio, which had a phone number. He called it, and it's Marta. She wasn't there, he left a message, but maybe this info will help him unravel JP's deep dark secret!

CORAZÓN VALIENTE - Miércoles

Bernie's plotting was pretty murky. I suppose he and Ledesma DID set it up so Sam would see the false report about the boy in San Francisco. That could only happen in a TN, that Ledesma would leave and Sam would look through the stuff on his desk. I think Ledesma works for Bernie but keeps Darío informed. So, if what Darío wants done conflicts with what Bernie wants done, Darío would be the "highest bidder", and Ledesma would hide new info from Bernie.

I suppose the intent was that, when Ledesma called admitting Martin was not the correct boy, Sam would think he was being honest with her and continue to trust him. Whatever.

But, as I remember it, Sam was telling Valeria that she was Martin's mother, and the boy just came up out of nowhere, having overheard. The way I saw it, Sam did not make that claim in front of the boy intentionally.

I really don't like Manuel Landeta, the actor portraying Bernie. I suppose you could make the case he's doing a good job because I despise him. But that phony smile when he's lying to someone drives me nuts. And I find him so off-putting that I can't stand watching him grope women, especially Sol. The thing with Sol makes me feel like he's a pedophile.

Now the plan for Juan Marcos to give Ángela away at her church wedding is one of the most inane things I've ever seen in a TN, and that's saying something. Plus, a couple of episodes ago the Ratita was snarling at JM to stay away from her mother. And now she wants him in the wedding?
Please.

CORAZÓN VALIENTE

Thanks, Novelera y Jean.

ugh! I've really lost interest in the JM/A/R/L quadrangle. I just watch JM for the eye-candy.

can't believe the Reptile has 4 accomplices... absurd!!

RELACIONES PELIGROSAS

Your recap was very interesting, Hombre. I see bits and pieces occasionally, and it appears to me that Miranda is a complete wimp. She never appears to show any spirit.

And lying about how far along her pregnancy is by JP is pretty dastardly. The guy might not be SO horrible if he'd shave. The way he looks is so repugnant to me.

Corazon V:

Where to start...Thanks for the recaps to get us going!

The whole adoption thing with everyone keeping secrets and laying false info and brides is getting confusing. The PI did tell Berni he is not an emotional guy...but berni and dario are really destroying Sam's life. She needs to get Berni out of the loop. Why can't she trust Willy? He was so heartbroken last night. Even told Berni that it doesn't bother him that Sam has a son, but that he's not the father.

Novelera: I like berni in this role, his sh__-eating grin is kind of annoying...but I just watched him in Teresa and he's an actor you love to hate.

Yikes! The beaver shot to a drunk JM is spelling bad news. I can only hope that the secretary walks in with the reports he just requested and she breaks up the moment before he falls into her reptile claws.

ShallowGal:
With you on the eye candy. The triangles are long and tedious but looks like we'll get a post-shower JM tonight! One thing I learned long ago...there is never a "happy" couple in soaps. At least spanish TNs are short runs, so we get a gran finale unlike US daytime.

CORAZÓN VALIENTE- jueves

JM succumbs to the reptilian charms of Fernanda and they have sex on JM's desk. Afterwards, JM tells Fernanda that it didn't mean anything. He can only concentrate on helping his daughter and finding the killer of his parents and wife.

Ángela calls JM while this is going on and Diego takes pleasure in telling her that JM is "muy occupado" with the Reptile in his office and that Ángela made a bad choice.

Bernie comes over to commiserate with Sam about the false start on finding her baby. When Sam asks why he is helping her, Bernie replies that he loves her. He says that Willy is incapable of having a real relationship with a woman unlike him. He says that he will find her child and make her love him.

15 days later.

It turns out that Génesis and the Ratita were born on the same day in the same year. Ángela makes cakes for both girls. Génesis has a quiet celebration at home while the Ratita has a big party with a bunch of other kids and a magician.

Darío complements Sam on the job she had done running the company and planning a big party for the company. Sam tells him that she is quitting the company and going back to being a bodyguard.

Frida appears to be attracted to Willy. Then Willy gets a funeral wreath (corona de muertos) with his name on it and another threatening letter.

Willy wants to go the party at Sam's company but both Frida and Sam ixnay that idea as being too dangerous.

The Reptile tells Ofelia that she is sure that JM is falling in love with her and that all she needs is for Ángela to marry Luis and get out of JM's life. When Ofelia points out to her that JM won't even take her calls, the Reptile tells Ofelia to get out.

At the big birthday party for the Ratita, JM shows up with Génesis and the Reptile and Sam attend as well. Ángela is dressed as clown. She and JM have a momentary kiss while they are part of a disappearing act.

The Ratita gets the bright idea that Ángela and Luis should be married at Sam's family's finca in Valle de Bravo in Mexico. Everybody reluctantly agrees to this so it looks like we have another trip to Mexico coming up.

Sol tells Bernie that she thinks she is pregnant and a test confirms this. That was pretty careless of old Bernie.

Emma tells Peralta that she is a virgin.

Sam tells Ángela that she and Willy had a child when she was 15.

There was probably more but I got lazy taking notes at the end.

RELACIONES PELIGROSAS:

I've been thinking how ridiculous Corazon Valiente has been getting recently, with crazy coincidences, pregnancies, accidents etc., but Relaciones is just as bad. Tons of crazy things happened last night, and since I didn't take notes, I probably forgot most of them, but here are some:

JP already has Miranda thinking the baby is illegal, but he needs more. He gives Cortez more money. Cortez visits Miranda, says sorry, you'll just have to abort, the judge just wants that pregnancy test. Miranda is desperate, and Cortez manipulates her to come up with the idea of JP giving the baby his last name, and claiming it's his. Even Miranda should realize the lawyer can't ethically do this, but oh well. She says she'll think about it, but I'm sure she'll do it (and JP will of course graciously accept).

Olivia shows the picture to Yesi, forcing her to admit she sent it. Yesi says she loves Mau. This gets Olivia thinking, and she then visits Mau in the trailer. He's drunk by now, so upset about Miranda's possible betrayal with JP. Olivia shows him the nude picture, says Yesi betrayed you. But she, Olivia loves him deeply. She turns on the sex appeal, and despite his trying to push her away about 5 times, she finally gets both their shirts off, they fall onto the bed, and at that precise moment, Yesi arrives, and now hates Mau, too!

She likes Victor the creep though.

Gonzo is scared to death, and freaks out Liz, forcing her to swear she'll always love him and no one else. She asks why he's so paranoid, and he says he committed a crime. But instead of saying he killed that thug, he says he sold drugs to the kids at Cervantes. He shows her the vial, and Liz says, wait a minute, these are the drugs my father Ricardo is working on!

Gonzo's Mom Benita is also scared witless, tells Gonzo he can't be seen at home, Bob will figure something out, he's got to hide. She'll cover for him. After all, a mother is capable of anything to protect her child! She cleans up all the bloodstains and other marks (with window cleaner).

Teresa confronts Gil with the earring of Julia's she found.

Armando IS a match for Bea's bone marrow transplant. He'll do the operation in two days, just long enough to say goodbye, since he'll probably die from his brain tumor.

Marta returns Mau's call. Sure, she'll tell him about that "traitor" JP. They'll meet tomorrow.

JP also engineers something where Miranda is filing a complaint against Mau (JP just says this, Miranda didn't) for invasion of privacy (when she was "having sex" with JP) and breaking the restraining order. JP could go to jail!

Ignacio holds a gun to Olivares, he's working for JP now!

Andres has some mistress named Monica, and Victor better keep quiet about her!

The chauffeur tells Andres that Victor's a loose cannon and should be eliminated!

Hector sees Alejandro (almost) kissing his son Diego!

JP threatens Nora, didn't you see Miranda at that clinic? And are you legal?!

You see? The show is ridiculous!
But I like it.

CORAZÓN VALIENTE - JUEVES

Thanks, Jean. Great recap.

What happened at the end was that Sol announced her pregnancy in front of the entire del Castillo household. This causes dismay in Estela, sarcastic smiles from Willy and complete disgust from Fernanda. I'm sure he's seething about Sam hearing about this.

If the adults continue to indulge these kids' every whim, they're going to turn out to be....Emma.

They sure tried to scare us that the clown was going to open the door of the disappearing closet when JM and Ángela were still kissing.

The Rat tells the Reptile that his pitiful salary as chauffeur isn't going to work for him any more. He wants money to move away from LA, money to set Ángela up in a business that will support them, and a renta mensual (monthly income). He never plans to work another day in his life and plans to live like a king.

Peralta didn't believe Emma's tale of being a virgin. He thought she was trying to make herself a better "package" in the same way that she's been learning to cook. He told her he wasn't concerned about any past lovers, joking however that 50 would be excessive for someone her age. This guy is adorable.

CORAZON:
Thanks Jean and Novelera. Between the two of you, you got it all. There was a scene at the end where Angela walks into JM's room and he's in the shower. He comes out and then whips off his towel and begins to flirt heavily. This leaves Angela completely flustered. Since the Reptile, the Rat, and Ratita are hanging at Bernie's and occupied with baby announcements there, could this mean Angela and JM could actually get to 3rd base without being interrupted?

I was highly disappointed in JM for having sex with the Reptile. I was so hoping he would take the call from Angela and stop the madness, but it just spurred him on more.

I also thought it was cute that Peralta did not believe it when Emma finally tells him something that's true.

CORAZÓN VALIENTE

I'll again do a recap of tonight. In fact, I'll plan on doing Friday and Monday for the duration unless I say otherwise.

Friday is obviously good because I'm off Saturday. And Monday works for me. I've been doing very short ones Wednesdays. That's my Spanish class night, so I'm very short on time. If I can do it, fine. Otherwise I may be too tired.

CORAZÓN VALIENTE

Thanks Hombre and Vivi for filling in the parts of last night´s episode that I forgot.

Yes, it was too bad that JM ended up having sex with the Reptile but it was probably inevitable for plot purposes.

Anybody interested in taking bets on whether Ángela will actually end up marrying Luis? I'm willing to bet that Luis won't get to have sex with Ángela since usually in novelas, the heroine isn't obliged to have sex with a bad guy.

Crying wolf does have it's consequences as Emma has found out.

Sol's life expectancy gets shorter and shorter.

I was falling asleep at the end of the episode and I totally forgot the scene with JM and Ángela post shower. Ángela was funny trying not to look at what was on display.

CORAZÓN VALIENTE

Gracias otra vez, Jean y novelera.

ugh - why do the galans always end up having sex with another? i am not pleased about that. I thought JM would be the exception... ugh!!

craaap... of course I must be the only who wants to believe the wedding won't happen, but what do I know?

Vivi - I'm still not sure whether Emma was telling the truth.

Peralta needs a trim... he's looking a bit scraggly; still a cutie pie though.

Corazon V:

Thanks for the recap Jean!

I didn't even recognize Angela in the clown costume and I was really surprised her makeup didn't rub off to JM during the kiss in the magic box.

I cringed during the JM/reptile quickie. If he only knew! She totally took advantage of his drunk goggles being on. It would have been better if he passed out before. But he is officially single, so our galan can get away with that. Typical double standard in TNs.

Sounds like the boda in Mx should be full of surprises! If the wedding is in two weeks, I would have thought their venue/church would be reserved. Depending on the church, the reservations would be made up to a year in advance. So now they will just pop down to the finca and everything will be ready to go!!??

(Not sure if this was in the previews) Sam started "working" at the fam business like a month ago and insisted her dad retire on the spot. Now she is quitting with no notice. No wonder their relationship sucks!

Jean: I also think Sol is walking a thin line to her own demise.

Jewels

CORAZON:
Shallowgal- The reason why I think Emma is telling the truth is that they specifically showed her freezing up and freaking out the few times that loser guy (whose name I can't remember) tried to go further with her. Nothing they have shown about her shows that she was like Sol, who has NO problems sleeping with any man, even an old one like Bernie. I agree that Sol's life expectancy just dropped, but they must be planning on her to remember Fernanda killing her brother. (If she doesn't remember already and has just been playing dumb to plot revenge.)

CORAZÓN VALIENTE

Vivi - I get what you mean. oh yeah... I wonder if Gabriel (Vicente's brother) is out of the picture completely. not that I miss him.
