Refugio Para el Amor #111 Wed 9/12/12 Vicky Wins and Rosa Whines and Vio Flirts With Danger
Due to a scheduling conflict, I am taking Anita's recapping night this week and she is taking mine.
Rod and Gagme Torreslanda's Apartment of No Love Lost:
Mati is trying to get Rod to forgive his loca Mama for all the trouble she caused. Rod says it'll never happen, not going home either. Mati thinks he ought to forgive her.
Het Het:
In the hamelt of Het Het, Magda is on the phone with Estelita looking for her daughter Vio, who she finds out is not there. Magda is very concerned, but Estelita tells her not to worry, Vio spent the night with Luci in the hotel she is staying at, while in the D.F. Magda wants Estelita to be sure to tell Vio she called and hands the phone to Paz. Paz wants to know how her darling boy is doing. Estelita says no worries, your son is fine and selling loads of tacos. Paz tells Estelita that the peeps down there can call her anytime cause Claudio installed a phone right in the house.
Torreslanda Bidness, Max' s Office:
We have one pithed off Max calling Vicky who is at work. He tells Vicky his wife saw the text message and now he's in all kinds of trouble. Vicky says well, I guess it's time for us to break up then, now that Rosa knows. He wants a meet, but she says she can't do it now, she's at work and besides she is so NOT putting up with his whims anymore, she just can't come running anytime he feels he wants to see her, and she hangs up on him. Yay! Max is pithed and yells and looks like he wants to fling the cell phone, and Rod the Bod comes in at this time and asks if he's ok? Max tells Rod everything is spiffy, just a little glitch with a bidness deal. Rod wants to know, from his Papa, why Rosa didn't end up in the carcel for what she had done to Luci and Claudio? Max tells him, thanks to Luci and her compassion, your mother stayed out of jail, cause Luci didn't want to send her there.
Torreslanda Home, Rosa's Room:
Rosa la loca, is in her room, staring out into space, while Frigid is in the bathroom folding towels. Mati walks in. Mati doesn't see Frigid, and Mati tells Rosa, Frigid said you were looking for me. Of course la loca can't be happy cause her prodigal nana returned, so she lights into her. (Note to Rosa: I bet if it was the second coming and Jesus would appear to you, you'd ask him where he's been, jus' sayin'). Rosa wants to know why Mati left her all alone, oh, poor thing, NOT. (Note to Mati- I know we in Viewerville have been giving you a hard time about what you did to enable la loca, but really, you and Pato need to go find a place, and you stay with him and take care of him, lots less stress and no more secrets.). Mati informs la loca she went to see Rod to ask him to forgive her. Rosa wants to know what he said. Mati tells la loca Rosa, Rod still won't forgive her or come to the house. Frigid heard every word and Rosa la loca cries.
Nicole's Salon:
Nicole is very proud of Vicky for standing her ground. Nicole said something else I didn't catch, someone please fill in. Vicky now texts Aldo, who is in his mini office at Torreslanda, making a pyramid out of toilet paper rolls, lol. We know how this jr. exec works, working hard, hardly working.
Cafeteria Somewhere in the D.F.:
Luci and Claudio are having coffee. Luci tells her Papa she is going back to her hamlet of Het Het tomorrow. Claudio assures Luci she will learn the bidness little by little. Claudio mentions getting corporate credit cards from Oscar for he and Luci. Luci says oh, all right. Luci says she has a plan for the unemployed ladies in Het Het, she wants to give them jobs. Claudio likes the idea and Luci says she wants to help all the people in Het Het.
Hospital in the D.F., Hydrotherapy Room:
Pato is doing his hydrotherapy and Rod is helping him along with Jorge the therapist. Pato thanks Rod for coming with him. They are doing some arm exercises in the pool. They are out of the pool now and Rod thanks Jorge for allowing him to help Pato with the hydrotherapy. Jorge thinks the three of them make a good team and he goes. Rod tells Pato he talked to their Papa and tells Pato the only reason their loca mama isn't in the carcel is because of Luci. Pato is not surprised. Rod says Luci is a wonderful woman and all his life he will regret having caused her so much pain. Pato rolls away in his chair.
Torreslanda Home Rosa's Sitting Room:
Conny and Rosa are having a convo. Rosa informs Conny that Rod still won't forgive her. Rosa thought that if Rod "saw" how repentant she was, he'd forgive her. Conny feels that Rod would never abandon his la loca mama, and that she is glad now the kids know the truth. Rosa la loca, says she hates Luci still, but this time she isn't screaming it. She looks at Conny with dead eyes. Conny informs Rosa that Aldo and Melissa were mad at her too, for keeping this secret, but she is glad they know now too. Rosa is still giving the song and dance about keeping this secret cause she wanted to protect her kids and she loves them so much, yeah right. Conny tells Rosa la loca this is the consequences of your actions. Rosa feels so abandoned by her children and her husband! Conny wants to know why Rosa is saying this about Max. Rosa starts the yelling. She tells Conny that Max is cheating on her, he got a text on his phone, she was suspicious looked at the phone and there it was she saw it with her own eyes! Now I have to say here, my Mama had a real knack for pithy sayings. This one fits here perfectly I have to say. It is in German and I will translate: Setzen sie nicht den Tuefel an die Wand= Don't put the devil on the wall, in other words, don't keep saying something bad, cause then it will happen! Don't wish for bad things. If there is a saying like this in Spanish please comment. Well, Conny isn't buying it, she's heard this song and dance before. Rosa says she saw that text message and he is going around with a chippy. Conny still isn't buy this bill of goods and Rosa insists she is sure. Rosa says Max blamed it all on her, it was her fault, oh why poor pitiful me, AGAIN! Conny just looks at her, as Rosa cries. Well, Conny says they need to work on the marriage. Rosa is only happy they have three great children. The Champagne Queen takes this time to pay Rosa a visit. The Champagne Queen has come with a baby magazine to bamboozle, er, get some stuff for the baby and she wants some champagne of course. The Champagne Queen has a no, never mind attitude of seeing Rosa is upset, Rosa is wiping her eyes and Conny is just standing off in the corner. The Champagne Queen suggests they could go out for a drink and the Champagne Queen says well, we can get Frigid or Mati to mix up a batch of mimosas! The Champagne Queen finally notices that la loca has been crying. She asks what is wrong. The Champagne Queen wants Conny to join them, but Conny won't. Well, The Champagne Queen tells Conny go find Frigid so we can have a drinky poo and shows Rosa the baby magazine, while she is running her mouth.
Torreslanda Bidness, Foyer of Bidness:
Luci's cell rings and it's her Mama Paz. Luci tells her mama she misses her so much. Paz wants to know if those Torreslanda's are giving her a hard time, cause if they are, she and Magda will be on the next bus to the D.F. to defend her. Luci tells her Mama Paz no worries, Claudio is here protecting me. Paz wants to know when Luci is coming home. Luci says tomorrow. Paz is overjoyed!
In The Hood:
Ah, we have a shirtless Lorenzo, who is ironing the shirt he is going to wear. He still has the scapula his Mama Paz gave him around his neck and he is talking to himself and says how he misses his mama. There is a knock on the door, and Lorenzo thinks it is Fabian and tells him to come in, and he continues to talk as if Fabian is there, but he's not, it's wait for it. Hanna. Hanna is getting a good look at the shirtless Lorenzo! Lorenzo has turned around and now Hanna has a good frontal view of his chest! Lorenzo, of course, apologizes for being shirtless, and Hanna says she'll go, but Lorenzo tells her to wait. He turns his back to put his shirt on and Hanna is doin' a lot of looking! Hanna came by to see Lorenzo cause she is sorry for the trouble her mama caused him with the taco bidness. She now knows he is back on the corner selling his marvelous tacos and she couldnt' be happier. Hanna tells Lorenzo she actually came looking for Luci. Lorenzo tells her Luci is in D.F. but not staying in the hood. She is working with her Papa Claudio at the bidness. Hanna says well then get me a piece of paper so I can write my cell number down and she can call me. Lorenzo gets the paper. Lorenzo apologizes for the dustup with Boris the other day and Hanna apologizes for Boris too. Lorenzo tells Hanna, if she were HIS girlfriend he would have done the same thing. Hanna stands to go and Lorenzo gently takes her arms and asks her if she loves Boris very much. Hanna doesn't answer him and she goes. Lorenzo stares after her and thinks to himself, he may yet stand a chance with Hanna!
Torreslanda Bidness, Luci's Office:
Luci arrives in her office and on her desk is a huge vase of white roses, and some purple flowers mixed in. She is curious to know who would send her flowers and she opens the card. These flowers are from Pato and he thanks her for being part of his life. She has a profound look on her face, half dismay, half confusion. Rod the Bod has come to Luci's office,and as soon as she sees her Mushashon, she hides the card behind her back. He comments on the lovely flowers, and she is about to tell him who sent them and show him the card, but he stops her and says he doesn't need to know. He actually says it is better to keep the personal bidness out of the office and Luci thinks it is better too. Luci wants to know why Rod the Bod has come to see her. Rod has come to thank her for not sending his loca mama to la carcel. Rod asks her why she did this, and she says she didn't want to cause the family pain, I think. Rod the Bod thanks her and goes, and after he leaves, with tears in her eyes, Luci says I did it for you Mushashon.
Afternoon Delight Suite of Max and Vicky:
Max and Vicky are meeting. Max wants to know if Vicky is crazy. She it's all my fault that your wife saw that text message. Well since your wife knows now, we should stop seeing each other. He is mad and pushes her and she lands on the bed. She is crying and he says HE'LL decide when they break up , not her! Vicky says they fight, he doesn't love her and it would be better if they break up. She is working it crying like crazy and she says she works to eat, he won't help her, she needs the money for a better future and Max says that is not his problem. Well, Vicky is really sobbing now, and Max is looking at her. Vicky tells Max that she really loves him but is looking out for her and her Papa's futures. She wants something better than she has now. Max finally tells her to stop crying. He's decided to help her, he caved big time! Way to go Vicky! He tells her as a matter of fact, start looking for locations for your own salon. Vicky is so over the moon! He asks if she is content now. She is and gives him loads of kisses . She thanks him by giving him, well some afternoon delight of course!
Torreslanda Bidness, Claudio's Office:
Claudio is calling Melissa, and when she answers we see her taking a stroll through the park. Claudio needs a favor and is trusting her with this. She essentially says your wish is my command, well you get the picture. He wants Melissa to speak to Luci about finding a gyno for Luci in the D.F. It would be better coming from Melissa than him. He wants to make sure Luci and the baby are healthy. Melissa tells him, no worries she will meet with Luci and get right on it. She will send Luci to her own doctor.
Het Het:
Magda and Paz have encountered Copio on the street in Het Het. They want to know why he is roaming the streets, wuz up with that? He complains that the funeral bidness is slow, noone has died! Magda and Paz say, thank Dios for that. Copio says he has been put in charge of Don A's bidness while he is gone to the D.F. He tells Magda and Paz that Don A has gone to the D.F. to go to El Inferno and then he'll go to Heaven, then Copio says he has to go. Magda is very worried about Vio now, since Don A will be going to Club Inferno. Paz tells Magda no worries, Claudio is in the D.F and can protect Vio from Don A too, she is like family after all.
The Hood, Estelita's Apartment:
Vio, Estelita, Serena, Marianita and Ofelia are all together and Estelita passes on Magda's message to Vio. Vio thanks her. Estelita and Marianita go to the store for some bread and now the ladies talk. Vio is saying she likes the life of the rich and she wants some guy with money to marry. (Note to Vio: You need to get your head out of your butt, take Luci up on the job offer, and find a really nice guy at Torreslanda's jus' sayin'). Ofelia says she'd like to get married to someone who loves and respects her. Serena agrees. Vio just wants the money, no love involved. The girls just look at Vio.
D.F. Airport, Arrivals Gate:
The Aging Lothario has landed! He debarks from the plane and is one jazzed guy.
Gagme's Magazine, Gagme's Office:
Gagme is at work, gasp, actually working. The Champagne Queen comes in and asks her how her day is and how is she doing. The Champagne Queen says she just left her mother-in-law's house she couldn't really talk to her and that Conny! The Champagne Queen can't figure out what is up with those two. Gagme tells her Chamagne Queen Mama she doesn't think her planes for Rod es Mio are working out. The Champagne Queen gives her some advice. Now I am inserting another pithy saying of my Mama's again in German and will translate: Wenn die Maus ist voll der Mais ist bitter= When the mouse is full the corn is bitter. In other words, when you have so much, it still isn't enough. If there is a phrase like this in Spanish, please comment. The Champagne Queen tells Gagme, I got it, get a new bank account of your own and transfer Rod's money from his bank to yours, he'll never know! (Note to the Champagne Queen, bank transfers are a lot easier these days to track, jus' sayin'). Gagme is not into that, she says she wishes that Rodrigo es Mio would get that domestica out of his head!
Torreslanda Bidness, Luci's Office:
Luci is feeling frustrated. She can't understand this paperwork and what is it all about anyway. (Note to Luci: Should have asked for Pato's or Mushashon's help or even your Papa's help jus' sayin'). When she is saved by a visit from Melissa! Luci is very happy to see her and asks her to have a seat. Melissa asks Luci how she is, she says she's fine. Melissa has come to ask Luci about her gyno. Luci says she's happy with the clinic in Het Het. Melissa says that's all well and good but she needs a gyno here. Luci says no, rather go to the clinic in Het Het with her Mama Paz. Melissa says you are Claudio's daughter, are you not? He's worried about you and Hanna and I can go to the gyno with you. Luci finally agrees to go for the health of her baby and Claudio's peace of mind.
Evening:
Club Inferno:
Vio is singing on stage, hey they got her a bigger stage, like lighted cubes and she is closer to her audience. Serena and Polo are talking while Vio is singing. Polo is telling Serena he wishes Vio were his girlfriend. Serena tells him not much of a chance there, since Marcial has been such a jerk to Vio, she has closed her heart to lurrrvve. Our aging lothario, also known as Don A has finally arrived at Club Inferno. He watches Vio singing and she is working it on the stage, sort of singing to him. Vio is done singing and goes to Polo for a drink. Polo tells her she is beautiful and Vio thanks him. And wouldn't ya know it guess who comes up behind her? Anyone, no not Don A, it's Mr. Lemon Sucking Face of course. He hugs her from behind and kisses her ear, thru her hair and she turns around and says one of my favorite phrases in Spanish, No me toques! She tells him you are, wait for it, DEAD TO ME, and the dead don't talk.
Don A. rips Marcial off of Vio and tells him the lady asked you not to touch her! Vio grabs Don A by the arm, RUH ROH, and thanks him for saving her from Mr. Lemon Sucking Face. Vio is majorly sucking up to Don A and pulls him along with her, she is holding his hand ,and Marcial stalks off. Polo and Serena have seen it all and are like QTH!
In The Hood:
Ofelia, Fabian and Lorenzo cleaning the baskets to get ready for tomorrow to sell some more delicious tacos. Ofelia tells them she may have found a job at a cafeteria. Fabian and Lorenzo are happy for her. Fabian is looking like he is really liking Ofelia!
Rod and Gagme's Apartment of No Love Lost:
Rod and Gagme are about to have dinner. It seems they can be civil to each other, as a matter of fact Gagme is doing dinner. Rod wants to know why he can't go to the gyno with Gagme. She says he doesn't care enough and Julie goes with her, thank you very much. Ah, the microwave is going off and Gagme goes to fetch dinner. She puts the pyrex dish down and it looks like a horrible frozen lasgne, with no sauce and it is dry. She serves Rod and then herself and says eat up, it's delicious. (Note to Gagme: Obvi you haven't heard the way to a man's heart is thru his stomach, you should have gotten takeout or called a catering service something, that food looked like, I am sorry to say, throwup on a plate, jus' sayin'). Rod looks like he wants to hurl. He is so not happy.
Restaurant Somewhere in the D.F.
Meanwhile, Luci, her Papa Claudio and Melissa are enjoying a nice dinner out. Luci thanks Melissa for coming with them. .Claudio is happy that Melissa is going to the gyno with Luci. Melissa says her doctor is the same one that Conny has, he actually delivered Melissa and Aldo. Luci is happy that she can set her Papa's mind at ease. Claudio wants to know how far along Luci is. She says she is about 2 1/2 to 3 months along. Melissa also tells her she will be able to hear the baby's heartbeat. Claudio and Luci are over the moon with this news!
Back To Rod and Gagme Torreslanda's Apartment of No Love Lost:
Surprise! Surprise! Guess who has come to call on Rod and Gagme? Anyone?? That's right, Rosa la Loca. She apologizes for the surprise visit, she doesn't want to fight with Rod, but Rod says he has nothing to say to her. Gagme of course tells Rosa la loca, if Rod won't invite you, I will. So Rosa comes into the apartment. She tells Rosa la loca, never mind Rod we'll have us a little visit. Gagme says we can talk about your upcoming grandchild. Rosa would prefer to talk to Rod and alone. Gagme says of course y'all have alot to talk about, and Gagme goes. Rod wants to know what is up with his loca Mama now. Rosa starts right in on how Max is cheating on her and this time she's sure (Note to Rosa, you cry wolf long enough, noone will beleive you, jus' sayin'). Rod says it's your jealousy again, isn't it. Rosa insists Max has a lover, for realz. Rod says oh, not another "supposed affair", like the one he had with Aurora. Rosa tells Rod she saw a text message on Max's phone that said Osito mi amor, I love you, we need to talk. Rosa suggests Rod talk to his Papa.
Advances:
Rod goes to the gyno with Luci and something wonderful happens; Ya wanna know what, you say? Tune in tomorrow to find out!

Great recap Madelaine! I had to laugh when no one would believe Rosa about Max's affair. Note she said he is having "another" affair to Connie. So she STILL clings to the fals belief that he had an affair with Aurora. No wonder they all were incredulous. But Rod does know about Vicky, so he will likely speak to his father to get the real deal. Rosa now has a perfect weapon to use to get her kids' sympathy.
By the way, what Rosa implied to to Connie before they were interrupted by Julie was that she already gave Max three kids. Any more sex beyond that is just "lujuria" (lust). That's why Connie had such a shocked look on her face because she realized Rosa was admitting she hadn't had sex with Max since her last kid was born.
I laughed out loud though when Rod made that face at Gala's caserole. Ha ha! At least it was a civil dinner. No yelling this time. How does he possibly think he can stay married to a person he can't stand, is beyond me. Gala actually wants Rod to come with her to her gyno appointment and he wondered why, since he just went with her 10 days ago. That's when she tried to guilt him by saying she'll then have to take her mom with her instead. So I'm betting there will be firworks tonight when Gala finds out Rod refused to go with her, but went with Luci. Ruh-roh!
By the way, what Rosa implied to to Connie before they were interrupted by Julie was that she already gave Max three kids. Any more sex beyond that is just "lujuria" (lust). You know, it was more fun just watching the expressions of the non-speaking actors last night. I'm sorry, mMax is an ass, but watching his reaction to Vi's blubbering (which was a tad over the top--but hey it worked) was kinda hysterical. Connie just has that " OMG" constant expression fixed on her face lately listening to Rosa. And dinner, or whatever that was supposed to be ( thinking some lean version of a vegetable lasagna badly made) and Rod's looks...sorry, dude, you kind of deserved that moment.
Cutest confrontation of the night though had to be Janna and Lorenzo. The look on her face as she walked in and saw him shirtless---yeah, Boris, who's Boris? But bummer, now Ofelia is drooling for him as well. So don't want to go there....
I too would love to see Luci work with Pato to learn the business. Rod is getting more enlightened, but frankly, I still see Luci and Pato more in tuned to the same things...and with his foundation in HET HET and her wanting to help there as well....just saying.
Now if possibly Dumbass thinks right, he'll confront dear old Dad, and Max will more than likely tell him flat out the hard facts of what life with mumsy has been like for the past 18 years. (Give him a good hint at what his life will be like with Gala?) Good Morning y'all, thanks Vivi and Emarie for what I missed.
Vivi- you are right, Rosa will use this for her kids' sympathy especially with Rod. She'll do and say anything to get him back into her clutches. You are right Rod does know about Vicky and so does Pato. I wonder if Rod will tell Pato about this.
Emarie- I hope the visit to the gyno is true and not a dream. I like how everyone is really concerned and helpful about Luci's pregnancy, whereas noone except Rod and The Champagne Queen care about Gagme's.
DaisynJay- Yes, my Mama was a wise woman, she always gave me great advice. I too liked Max's expression but I didn't think he'd cave. He has always told her no before and now he caves, maybe he feels guilty about the rough treatment he gave her awhile back. Maybe Luci is rubbing off on him, nah, that would be too good to be true. I agree too about Pato helping her. Noone seems to want to teach her about the bidness. Luci is smart, and I think will learn quickly, but somebody should be training her.
The Champagne Queen has no soul as far as money goes. I can't beleive she wanted Gagme to start transferring money from Rod's account and we all know where that money would be going, straight to designer clothes and champagne for the Champagne Queen.
Ruh, Roh with Vio. I was hoping the writers would NOT go down this road. If Don A is indeed Vio's papa this will be a huge yuck factor. I really hope before anything serious between the two happens that Vio finds out the truth. Shame on Magda for never telling her. I think now Magda should spill. She sure looked worried when she found out about Don A going to the D.F. and El Inferno.
Loved Hanna and Lorenzo, they are so cute. I hope they get together and she dumps Boris. Boris is just too possessive.
That dinner Gagme made/bought looked horrid, sorry. It almost looked like vegetable lasgne. I would have thrown some sauce on there. I love vegetable lasgne and I would have put a beschamel sauce on top of it with a sprig of parsely on the side, jus' sayin'.
Vivi- you are right, Rosa will use this for her kids' sympathy especially with Rod. She'll do and say anything to get him back into her clutches. You are right Rod does know about Vicky and so does Pato. I wonder if Rod will tell Pato about this.
Emarie- I hope the visit to the gyno is true and not a dream. I like how everyone is really concerned and helpful about Luci's pregnancy, whereas noone except Rod and The Champagne Queen care about Gagme's.
DaisynJay- Yes, my Mama was a wise woman, she always gave me great advice. I too liked Max's expression but I didn't think he'd cave. He has always told her no before and now he caves, maybe he feels guilty about the rough treatment he gave her awhile back. Maybe Luci is rubbing off on him, nah, that would be too good to be true. I agree too about Pato helping her. Noone seems to want to teach her about the bidness. Luci is smart, and I think will learn quickly, but somebody should be training her.
The Champagne Queen has no soul as far as money goes. I can't beleive she wanted Gagme to start transferring money from Rod's account and we all know where that money would be going, straight to designer clothes and champagne for the Champagne Queen.
Ruh, Roh with Vio. I was hoping the writers would NOT go down this road. If Don A is indeed Vio's papa this will be a huge yuck factor. I really hope before anything serious between the two happens that Vio finds out the truth. Shame on Magda for never telling her. I think now Magda should spill. She sure looked worried when she found out about Don A going to the D.F. and El Inferno.
Loved Hanna and Lorenzo, they are so cute. I hope they get together and she dumps Boris. Boris is just too possessive.

EMarie I had a friend who had that kind of pregnancy, not the faking just no fetus. It would make sense cause I can't see Gagme as a mother or having an ending with two kids. I like the idea from the preview that Rod refused to go to the gyno with Gagme but is there for Luci. That tells us all we need to know, not that we didn't how he feels about both the women and their child.
Of course it did occur to me, please God in a city with 20 million people don't let Gagme and Luci end up with the same doctor. I do remember that Gagme's was a female so keeping fingers crossed. That same doctor sets up the boring baby switch scenario I so hate.

The convo with Conny was interesting and I too saw the shock on Conny's face when Rosa essentially said she had produced an heir and a spare and a girl and her duty was done. I've thought for some time that Rosa is Frigida2 and has some sexual hang ups. When Gagme was whining about Rod not going to bed with her she turned the conversation off by saying she wasn't interested in intimacies. She also reacted the same way to Max when she told him Luci was pregnant and he reminded her that Luci and Rod were (had been) newly weds and it was natural. I'm actually surprised considering how she constantly rebuffs Max why she isn't relieved that he has a mistress. Now she can feel virtuous in rejecting him.
I do have to say that Vici's acting in the scene with Max was awful. In a show where the acting is uniformly excellent she is the weak link and she blew it last night. I did laugh when Max said no more tears, clearly being a guy who is uneasy around crying women.
Another vote for Luci going to Pato for help understanding the business. In reality i don't think she want to learn about it, she just wants to go back to pot painting in the burbs. I do, like Claudio, admire her for wanting to do something for the people in Het Het so she better buckle down and learn about the business.
Vi and Don A - major gag. He is such an old lecher and surely she knows he isn't the kind of rich guy she wants. She must know what he did to Luci and how he really is so I think she was just sticking it to Marcial.

If Magda is so concerned about Don A and Vio, she needs to just come clean ASAP. If he writers go any further with the old geezer romancing Vi, then they the "secret" better be something else. I agree---major Yuck if it's allowed to drag out and everyone starts the ":not my secret to tell" excuses.

Decie Girl- I hope you are right that Gagme and Luci do not have the same gyno. That would be too awful. I wonder if Gagme and Luci will have their babies at the same hospital though. I don't like that idea either. I am really hoping Luci's baby is born in Het Het.

Rosa with her moral issues, she seems only to want to use them when they suit her. It's so funny how she told Conny that sex was only for pro-creation. The Catholic Church used to teach this, but not anymore. The good Padre Honesto must have forgotten to tell her this, lol. It's funny that she can't handle the fact that Rod and Luci had sex, they were married after all, and now are expecting a child, wasn't that the whole point with her skewed vision of marriage, where on the other hand Rod and Gagme had sex, in an unmarried state, the Church frowns on this, but she is willing to accept that baby? She is truly la loca.
I don't think there is a possibility of Gagme and Luci having their babies at the same time. Luci is by my guess at least a month or six weeks further along then Gagme. Rod was already divorced when he had the fatal tryst with his beloved wife LOL.

So after the doctor told her she should have no more children after the first (my husband's mother) that was it for the physical relationship! Her husband eventually found consolation with a willing widow in town, and his grandmother dramatized her suffering to one and all. So sad.

You know Gringo, if there's one thing I noticed in this TN, it is the low number of extras. very few kids hanging out at school eating when Janna is shown, it's amazing how the Inferno stays in business with it's sorry lack of customers ( last night was down-right hysterical. And the pre-recording could be better matched to the actual singing and clapping of the patrons....just saying).

LOL!!)... people who work out so much as Rod usually only have lean meat and salads for dinner... that plate was full of fat and carbo!! no wonder Rod was making faces... who knows what that hot mess smelled like!

Gringo- Good point about the pool. Maybe Pato goes in between times for more privacy, but I doubt it. I wonder if this company goes to private homes that have a pool and do therapy there too. Do the Torreslandas even have a pool? I don't remember seeing one.

Marta, thanks for what I missed. I just knew Lorenzo was thinking he maybe had a chance with Hanna. I like the fact that they always talk and spend time together. Not much lately, but at least they have contact. I just can't stand Boris. He should be hooking up with Lula. Marta, Peter and the Wolf, good one.

I'm with JudyB on Vicki's acting. The actress is good. The character was the one wailing and pretending to be sad. I don't think Vicki gives a #$%^ at this point what Max does, as long as she gets her shop if she's going to keep putting up with him. She better get it in her name, just in case.
And Fabian better look out. He was starting to look a little rapey the way he was staring at Ofelia.

I couldn't help thinking during that scene at the pool when Rod was whining about Luci having such a great hear and how he'd miss her all his life and Pato rolled away. I could almost hear him thinking "Shut up, you dumbass. I told you that from the begining and I don't want to hear it again."

ITA Decie, it must be not only torture for Rod to say it but must be double torture for Pato to hear it since he would DEFINITELY have done things differently than Rod had he been given the chance... but with his current physical limitations, he can't give all the support he would want to give Luci and he can only be there for both of them, even if it hurts him even more to wonder if HE had been given the chance with Luci...
I am beginning to get a bad feeling... Violeta wants a 'viejo con harta lana' ... and other than Don Aquiles, guess who fits the bill? Initials MTL. could she be Vicky's replacement?
Madelaine, thanks for the recap and the German sayings. To Judy B. I agree with you. I drool over RE and Connie's wardrobes, same with what Alfie wears and a bit of Florencia's dresses in Abismo. RE and Connie's remind me of Jackie O's style. Now why can't Elisa be like them? With Luciana we know her character is very regionally nationalistic. (did I say that right?)And oh to get back to the story, I really think that luciana would be safer if she stayed in Het Het away from the witches, meaning Brigida, Champagne Queen and Gagme and most of all,ladyMacbeth/LaLoca.
