Amor Bravío #60 (Uni 55) Thu 11/8/12 Amor Revelado

Pablo hangs out at the hospital in Zacatecas.  He decides to try calling Luzma at La Malquerida.  She answers the phone, and he makes like Stevie Wonder…"I just called to say I love you!"  Luzma is glad he's far away.  Pablo says he misses her, but Luzma lies and says she wants nothing more to do with him.  Pablo's not buying it, but Luzma insists she's already over him.  She hangs up the phone on a hurt, confused Pablo.

Dio gets into his marital bedroom and snaps at Agustina not to ask him questions, damnit!  He wants some alone time, but Agustina wants to talk.  She says it's best he hear this ASAP, "Camila doesn’t want us to live here.  She'd rather we live at your place and you're not going to have a say in anything to do with the house or the ranch."  Dio asks what she wants and Augie wants to stay, but she doesn't want Cam being rude to Dio.  He tells her not to worry about him.  They'll stay because she wants to.  "Don't worry about Camila either.  I'll gain her affection, acceptance, and trust little by little."  Augie wants him to read in bed, but Dio would rather read elsewhere and menacingly asks her if that's clear.  Yeah, Augie, is it at all clear what kind of jackass you married?

Camila is sad that they're stuck with Dionisio.  She tells D'Andres that Osvaldo the lawyer is also worried about Dio and wants to talk to Camila about it in person.  D'Andres tells her to remain calm until she talks to Osvaldo.  Camila wishes that Daniel would show up already so she could just hand over the ranch to him and she and D'Andres could get the hell out of there.  That's going to be difficult.  Their impending nookie is interrupted by Isadora's entrance.

Ximena ponders how she can most effectively cast Camila as the "bad" sister in their mom's eyes.  Then she wonders if it might not be better to bust Cam and D'An together and promise to keep her mouth shut so Cam will think Xim is her ally.  She chooses option "B"…that's B for self-interested bitch.

D'Andres pretends he was just taking his leave and Camila neutrally tells him she doesn't need anything else.  Isadora hints it's inappropriate to attend to her employees in her pajamas.  Cam shuts her down, so Isa moves on to saying she can't believe what Alonso dared to try.  "A mother is always responsible for what her children do.  I'm worried about him."  Isa says she thinks he needs psychiatric help.  Cam agrees, but says that's his decision.  Isadora wants Camila to convince him to do it, but Camila says that's no longer in her job description.  Isadora wants Cam to give Alonso more time before they finalize the divorce because she's afraid he might deteriorate when it's final.  Isadora plays the "Oh, is it that you've moved on to a new guy already?"  Camila says that's none of her damn business and self-righteously stomps off to her room, hurting herself in the process.  Isadora finds an envelope on Cam's desk and stuffs it in her purse before she leaves.

Isadora sees D'Andres lurking outside.  She tells him she knows that he and Cam have something going on.  "I'm glad you realize Camila isn't alone."  He tells her not to mess with him.  "You were seen getting in your car on the day of Camila's accident.  You were also seen near the hostel when Padre Baldy died."  Isadora plays it cool, asking him what business it is of his.  D'Andres says he's just a chauffeur, but perhaps it's best they got along with each other.  Isadora doesn’t answer and oozes away.

Dionisio hangs out at the ranch, pondering the cows and how close he is to getting his hands on the ranch and becoming the owner of the new tourist development.  All that's left is to get his grubby hands on Camila.

Aaron makes it to the hostel unnoticed and checks in with Amanda.  She insists on feeding him breakfast.  D'Andres won't be by until later.  Aaron says he'd like to go straight to bed, cause he was resolving things back in Chiapas until late and didn't get any sleep.

D'Andres and Rafa wait on the DNA test results.  Rafa and Vivi realized that Vivi is being followed now, so she stayed home. Per the DNA test, D'Andres and Camila aren't related.  Score!  Rafael wants D'Andres to hold on to the results in case he needs to show them to Camila later.  They head over to Amanda's to talk to Aaron.

Camila finishes covering up her bruise as she walks into her living room/office.  D'Andres has left her lilies.  Her divorce papers, however, are missing.  She realizes Isadora must have taken them.

At breakfast Agustina is continually displeasing her new husband. Let me explain…no, wait, there is too much, let me sum up…I suspect Dionisio is being deliberately picky so that Augie can keep screwing up so he can keep snapping at her and put her in her place and/or find out how much crap she'll take from him.  He wants his coffee AFTER the meal, not before…and he's in the middle of eating his fruit, damnit, so he doesn't want his eggs NOW, he'll ask for his eggs when he's READY for them!  Ximena is witness to this.  She ponders what the land could be if it wasn't a ranch.  "But if it wasn't going to be a ranch, what would you do with it?"  Augie says she doesn't know.  Maybe she'd split it up…use different areas for different things.  Ximena suggests...maybe a tourist development?  Augie remembers Don Daniel getting that kind of proposal.  Dio confirms that he did, but says he doesn't know why Don D didn't accept.

Isadora breaks it to Alonso that D'Andres appears to know about their involvement in Padre Baldy's death.  She's starting to suspect there's more to him than meets the eye. He doesn't act like any of the other ranch hands and he's sure not "just" a chauffeur.  She suspects him of being a spy sent by Daniel.  "He's watching us all.  And he could turn into a dangerous enemy."  She doesn't think now is the time to get rid of him, though.  "Don't forget that Camila is in love with him."

Back at the breakfast table, Ximena says that if she owned the ranch, she'd sell it to a developer…"It's ideally situated to be a tourist area."  Dionisio agrees with her.  Augie tells them both not to breathe a word of that to Camila, who can't imagine anything there but a ranch and would be horrified at the thought.  "If ranches like this one shut down, those bulls are in danger of extinction."  Ximena's, like, "Whatever.  So what if they're from Lidia…boooring!"  I looked it up and couldn't find anything suggesting they'd be extinct.  However, although they're wild, what that means in this day and age is that they're raised on big-ass ranches like La Malquerida where the land is set aside for them to run wild, so perhaps if all the big-ass ranches go belly up the bulls would have nowhere to go.  Oh, and Ximena, they're not "Toros de Lidia" as in "Bulls from a land called Lidia" they're "bulls for FIGHTING"…"lidia" is a noun meaning "bullfighting"..."lidia" from the verb lidiar--to fight, to struggle.    Sorry if someone else pointed this out earlier, I just really felt the need to verbally smack Ximena.  I pondered whether she also could have been saying "so what if they're fighting bulls" but Mr. 5ft concurs that, no,  she's just an airhead.  Dio changes the topic of conversation, asking where Camila is, but Ximena says you never know with her…she's so unpredictable.

Isadora figures that D'Andres must be really close to Daniel.  Alonso wonders if Dio hasn't figured this out yet.  Isadora says they'll have to work on him for a while and get him on their side.  Alonso thinks that's preposterous, but Isa tells him to shove his ego aside.  Isa isn't sure if she'll tell Dio.  "Knowledge is power."  And she wants the power.  Dio's been excluding them from his plans, so she's not sure if she wants to tell him.  She gives Alonso the divorce papers and begs for a hug.  Creeeeepy.  Their faces were a little too close together, there.

Ximena wanders out looking for Camila.  Rodolfo doesn't know where she is, but he knows she left alone.  "Strange.  Doesn't she always go with Andres?"  Rodolfo agrees Camila gets along well with Andres, but he says she gets along well with everybody.  Ximena demands a tour of the ranch…in the truck, of course…and Rodolfo agrees.  Ximena looks around, thinking all this must be worth a fortune and she's sure "the chauffeur" realizes it.

Amanda shows D'Andres his supposed dad. He's only seen the younger version in a picture, but he's sure this is his biological dad since he's not related to Camila.  He's not sure how he feels about it…he can't understand how having a biological link doesn't lead to an emotional one.  He has no desire to hug the guy or anything.  Amanda agrees that parenting is about the relationship, not the biology.  She wonders if he would recognize D'Andres.  He doesn't think so.  D'Andres says he's going to do a "test."

Camila shows up to yell at Alonso and Isadora for stealing the divorce papers.  Alonso tells her he changed his mind cause he knows she's sleeping with the driver, spy, whatever he is.  He calls her a slut and earns himself a smack.  Of course, he has no backup for anything he's saying and Camila taunts him about that, telling him if he's going to run his mouth he'd better be able to back it up.  Alonso physically throws her out of the house, saying they're going to fight this divorce out.

D'Andres and Amanda go into the dining room.  They make a show of D'Andres asking if she's still serving breakfast and lamenting that his usual table is occupied.  His dad gets up and says he was just leaving anyway, so no problem.  He may have noticed that D'Andres was giving him a funny look, but there is no llamada de la sangre.  He leaves and D'Andres rather sadly tells Amanda that he doesn't think the guy even realized he was face to face with someone who carries his blood.

Vivi gets back to her house and asks Rafa about the DNA test.  She's thrilled that D'An and Cam aren't related.  Rafa has pretty much figured that he has no chance with Camila, so he's getting over it.  Vivi tells him one day his love will come along.  Rafa tells her that Dionisio married Agustina in Las Vegas.

Dio gets a call from his spy to tell him that Vivi and Rafa are both home now.  Agustina brings him a coffee, but he says he has to go.  "I'm a busy man, so get used to it!"  He chugs his coffee and then complains that he likes "café" not "ca-fue" (a play on words, either meaning "fue" as in "was" or "fue" as in "went"…so he likes coffee, not "it WAS coffee" or "the coffee has left the building"). Come on Augie!  Grow a spine!

Amanda tells D'Andres that Aaron is resting.  He decides not to bother him right now.  He tells her that Osvaldo wanted to talk to Camila about Dionisio and wonders how much Osvaldo knows.  She says Osvaldo knows all about Dio/Hector.  D'Andres asks her for a favor….

Ana's on her way out of the hospital.  Pablo is glad that Mariano is finally breaking the promise he made to his late wife and bringing Ana home with them.  He doesn’t think he could bear to let anyone else raise his child.  Grandma Ruth is teary.  Other grandma is practically gloating, though she says Ruth can come visit anytime she wants to.  Ana is a too-old-for-her age non-cutesy chill kind of moppet, thanking her grandma for not being mad at her for wanting to live with her dad.  I may end up liking her.  Especially if she plays practical jokes on Ileana.  I can dream.

Piedad is glad that Luzma decided to have the baby…"even if you are giving it up for adoption."  Uh oh.  She asks Luzma to go back to school now, before the baby comes.  "I don't think they'll want a pregnant girl in school.  I'll go back after the baby is born."  "Oh, ok…but what if you change your mind and decide to keep the baby?  I mean, it's going to be pretty hard to study while taking care of a baby."  Luzma declares in no uncertain terms that she is NOT keeping the baby.  "I'm having it because I don't think I'm anyone to take someone else's life away, but I DON’T WANT IT!"  Yeah, Piedad.  Please don't make me dislike you.

Yago tells Ileana that Mariano et al, are on their way back.  Natalia comes into the office and Yago sends Ileana to tell his dad that Mariano's on his way back.  Once she's gone, Natalia says she agrees to keep going out with him in secret.  They make plans to go into the city on Saturday.  Ay, Natalia.

Isadora summoned BioDad (I'll get his name eventually) to have him confirm that Aaron is really Daniel.  Yeah, you read that right.  "What?  I thought you said you knew who my son was."  "Well, I do, but it never hurts to confirm.  So is this your son, or not?"  She shows him the picture of Aaron and DumbassBioDad says yep, that's his boy all right, he's sure of it.  Isadora seems satisfied with his answer.

Camila paces angrily around her lawyer's office, complaining that it's not fair!  She's sick of Alonso and his mother!  She admits to the lawyer that yes, she's seeing someone, but so what?  Alonso can't hold that over her head.  The lawyer says that for him to do anything with that knowledge, he'd actually have to catch her in the act.  However, if he did that, it would be grounds for a divorce, which he appears not to want, so….  "Well, I sure as hell want one!  I totally understand the saying now that you marry someone you know and end up getting divorced from a complete stranger!"  The lawyer says, "Well, perhaps you can also become a complete stranger to Mr. Lazcano and do exactly what he would least expect from you.  Is there a medical and irrefutable way to prove that Mr. Lazcano was impotent when you married him?"  Camila remembers that it must be in the hospital records.  The lawyer says if she presents the evidence, he'll need to divorce her as soon as possible.  Camila rushes off for the hospital.

Ximena visits Alonso.  He whines like he's getting sick of her.  Ximena says she's sure now that Alonso only married her sister for money.  She knows he and Dionisio are trying to get the land and turn it into a tourist development.  Well, their secret is safe with her …for a price.  She wants a share of the profits and she wants to make her relationship with Alonso "official."  Dude, I don't even like you and I want to tell you to run screaming from this spandex addict!

Vivi's doorbell rings.  Dionisio has come to pay a visit.  "I was surprised to find out that Daniel Diaz Acosta had been here and that you two were hiding him and laughing behind Camila's and all of our backs."

Osvaldo welcomes Amanda to his office.  She says she needs his word as a friend that he won't take any steps that would harm…well, she needs him to trust in someone she vouches for.  She lets D'Andres into the office and D'Andres tells him that he's really Daniel and needs his help keeping him and the Monterde family out of danger.

Tomorrow: Dionisio threatens Daniel through Vivi; Daniel asks to be the one to tell Camila the truth.

Really? Really? The warning signs were there, Augie! Quit looking confused and take some frickin' action already!

Asking too much, I know. Tightening my beanie...lining it with lead...coating it in titanium....

Ay, yi, yi...real life has calmed down a bit. I'm done with traveling until December at least. The show was very well received in Nogales and I must say, if you're in the mood for karaoke in Nogales on a Friday or Saturday night, head to La Americana. DJ Raul has an excellent book of canciones en espanol! I totally rocked it, but alas, my phone battery was drained from trying to find a signal anywhere in town and I didn't get audio or video.

Muchas gracias Kat. Wonderful snarky recap! I haven't had a chance to watch my recording yet, but it sounds like things are getting even more complicated.

It seems like Isa did not actually see Dan and Cam smooching, as the preview implies, but she still had suspicions and Dan confirmed them! Bold move, but it seems to have worked in his favor as now Isa will keep her mouth shut about it to Dio, and she wants to make D'Andres and ally.

It sounds like a comedy of errors with Dan's dad not recognizing his real son standing in front of him, but swearing up and down that Aaron is Daniel. What a dope!

So, Bacerra has been brought into the Scooby Doo Gang. Yay! But, now that the DNA test is in hand, Dan needs to reveal all to Cami too.

Glad Cami found another way to foil Al's plans to stall the divorce, but was it realy wise to go confront the crazy dude who just tried to rape her a few days ago? She should have stopped off at Vivi's and brought her with her as backup. Vivi is so tall, she could have easily stopmed on skinny Alonso. Although, it sounds like Cami held her own this time.

Alas, I do not need a beanie to believe that Gussy is letting Dio belittle and humiliate her. The woman is a doormat for men.

Also not surprised that Xi is planning on catching Cami and D'Andres in the act, to use in her favor to get what she wants.

Good work, Kat. I almost lost my temper a half dozen times during this episode.

Augustina: She is an idiot. I didn't get to say this yesterday but she has the self-interest gene that matched with Diaz' for that brat daughter of hers. She spent the past x number of episodes protesting that La Malquerida rightfully belongs to Camila and now -- when it suits her own interest -- points out to her that she doesn't own it and doesn't have the right to demand that she leave it.

Per previous episodes she has some damned nerve expecting that El Diablo will take authority over Camila on the ranch when Camila is the executrix appointed by Don Daniel.

Licenciado Becerra might not be right about their marriage being illegal. It would be illegal in Mexico because El Diablo is using a false name, but that does not invalidate a witnessed marriage in the US.

Ximeana doesn't even care about the obvious emotional abuse El Diablo is handing out to Augustina; no surprise here. As clear an example of how a DNA relationship does not guarantee an emotional one as we can expect. Daniel didn't know Francisco Xavier during his childhood, so what's Ximeana's excuse?

It's that she's just as greedy as her sperm donor.

Camila: She should throw the Komodo dragons out of her townhouse ayer. She needs to find out what charges she can bring against Hissadora for stealing the envelope with the divorce papers. She should furthermore order all the workers to keep her and her slimy son off the property, followed by a restraining order. Considering the lax attitude about medical confidentiality in the Mexico of this tale, finding out when Alonssso got his Viagra should not be difficult. Since Daniel and Amanda know about the adultery with Ximeana Camila has more leverage than the knows.

It's too bad Camila didn't witness that breakfast fiasco, but I doubt that El Diablo would have behaved that way in front of her. His intentions regarding Camila really creep me out.

Piedad: She observed the emotional abuse of Augustina by El Diablo while attempting to serve the coffee. How can she even imply that Luzma would change her mind about keeping the devil cake she has in the oven? That is a permanent reminder of Leoncerdo's abuse. What if the baby looked like him (see L&O SVU episode "Screwed" for a good example of this scenario)?

El Diablo: Apart from the aforementioned, where does he get off thinking he can just possess Camila as though she were a blow-up doll? Not to mention threatening her friends?

Thanks for the wonderful recap and mirroring our disgust with the Creeeeeeeepy Mother-Son talk and Augustina's lack of spine.

"Spandex addict" LOL

Off to go watch....

word verification: conwork (as in Dio)

Kat. thanks once again, you are terrific.

I was LOL when Al forced Cam to leave the townhouse. Has she forgotten that she ownes the townhouse and she is the one that would be evicting Al and his evil mother?

I don't feel one bit sorry for Augie, she has and always will be a doormat for dishonest men. I wonder when she will run into her ex-husband.

One good bit of news was the DNA test.

Isa should have put Xi in the bull pen, that girl just needs to go.

Rosemary Primera

Thanks so much Kat. Glad to hear things are going well on the performance front.

I am glad I can watch the episode. I was so concerned about Isa seeing Cam/Dan that I need to read the recap first.

Mena, thanks for your recap yesterday. I got to it too late to post there.

Thanks so much, Kat, for another splendid recap. Loved your snark, as always, and very much appreciated your explanation of "lidia" and "lidiar."

Vivi, yes, I too enjoyed the comedy of errors in DNADan Sr's not recognizing his own biological son but affirming that Aaron is indeed his son. However,
I am so hoping that Amanda's PSA about parenting being about the relationship, not the biology, coupled with Piedad's hoping that Luzma will keep the baby and Luzma's adamant assertion that she will not, doesn't point the way to a change of heart on Luzma's part. I can understand and respect her wish to have the baby, but to KEEP the spawn of El Cerdo and have to look at it every day? No, NO, NO!!!

Good point, Rosemary Primera, about the absurdity of Alonso kicking Camila out of the house, when it's HER house.

I don't know whether I understood the avances correctly, but I think when Dandres asks for Becerra's help in telling Camila that he is Dan, Becerra replies that she's present. So is this the way Camila finds out?

My famous last words "off to watch", but although it is recorded, and it shows its recorded, I can't pull it up. COMCAST! I am spewing "Comcast" like Seinfeld spews "Newman".

So it looks like I'll miss seeing Isa catch Cam/Dan in a kiss. Was it obvious to her that they were kissing?

On the bright side, I just realized that Univision logo is a colorful "U". D"U"h! It only took me 1.5 years of seeing it daily.

I don't think Francisco Xavier ever saw either of his two children. I think he ran out on both Agatha and Augustina when they were pregnant. Neither Daniel nor Ximeana have ever mentioned seeing their fathers in person.

I neglected to mention before that El Diablo obviously arranged to marry Augustina in Las Vegas to avoid the legal problems he would face in Mexico once his current name is proven false.

Luzma is totally within her rights to postpone her education until after the baby is born and gone to an adoptive family. The writers should allow her to have a miscarriage if it's still too controversial for them to let her have an abortion.

Comments before reading the recap/comments. Hopefully, I got the gist of everything correctly:

First off: HOW DARE ALONSO KICK CAM OUT OF HER OWN HOUSE?! If I were her, I’d get the police and forcibly remove Isa and him from the premises.

Now that it looks like Cam has another chance of securing her divorce, she and Dan better cool their jets for awhile.

Xi: Little girl, you are delusional if you think you’re in the same league as Dio.

Nanette

It's been over 12 years since I practiced family law, but I think that even a U. S. witnessed marriage may be declared invalid if one (or both) of the parties is not free to marry; such as being already married to another.

Is he still married to Amanda, though, and was his marriage to her legal in the first place? He may have used a false name when marrying her as well.

I am certainly not looking forward to Natalia finding out she's the devil's daughter but by TN law that can't remain a secret.

Camila needs to evict the Komodos. Of course the discovery she is in for later is not coming at the best of times, since Daniel still has legal problems in Chile.

Thanks Kat, for the great recap. Glad the shows went well.

I thought Isa might have realized Andres was really Dan, but I see she just suspects he’s a spy.

Mr. 5ft’s description is spot on. Xi is an airhead.

“Especially if she plays practical jokes on Ileana. I can dream.” YES!!! That would be a hoot.

UA: “It would be illegal in Mexico because El Diablo is using a false name, but that does not invalidate a witnessed marriage in the US.” I also think that’s one of the reasons he did it in Vegas besides being able to marry right away.

Someone told me that Cam couldn’t throw Al and Isa out of her house legally, but I don’t see how that can be when she loaned them the use of it and they are not paying rent.

Why can't she throw them out? I think that should be her next move after she gives her lawyer the medical info on Al's impotency. Poor Cami has free-loaders everywhere-- Dio, Xi, and even Gussy now, in the hacienda; and Isa and Al in HER house in town.

Vivi: I totally agree with you. There should be absolutely NO reason why Cam can't kick them out (I'm into caps today its seems).

5ft - Great recap. Thanks for the vocab. Not knowing what Dio meant by "cafue" was driving me crazy. Appreciate the way you broke it down, and “Toros de Lidia” too.

I'm kind of pithed at Camila for having her signed divorce papers laying around. In her case, she should've had them taped to her body. She and her flower man better be a lot more careful. Too many people are almost catching them.

Dio is savvy enough to know how to pretend to be sweet to Gussie to get what he wants. But I guess since Gussie has already served her purpose – got him in the ranch – he just doesn’t give a damn. When even Piedad is looking at you with pity cause your husband's a rude-a$$, you know you're in trouble.

Thanks 5Ft, great as always. I always love your comments that you add.

One reason I think Aggie is pushing with Cam for Dion to take control is because she sees he's always mad and she thinks if he can get what he wants, then he'll act lovingly toward her and act like he actually loves her. So for know, she's insisting that they stay because that's all she can get away with.

I'm hoping that tomorrow, Cam shows up at Bercerra's office while Dan and Amanda are there, and they explain who Dan really is to her. Right there in the office. I'm crossing my fingers.

Cathyx: "I'm hoping that tomorrow, Cam shows up at Bercerra's office while Dan and Amanda are there, and they explain who Dan really is to her. Right there in the office. I'm crossing my fingers." From your lips to the writers' ears.

Cathyx and Nanette: What you're hoping for is what I think we were shown in the avances--Camila in Becerra's office when Dan tells the lawyer that he is Daniel Diaz Acosta. At least I hope so!

Enjoyed the recap, 5ft. I am traveling, so I am watching it on the laptop. I miss the subtitles. I am finding I need them.

Along with decent curtains, why don't people use locks for God's sakes?

OK, I get to watch tonight's episode now before you guys. I saved it to flashdrive. I won't spoil it for you though.

Cindy

What is essentially happening is that Augustina is throwing Camila under the bus for the sake of being married to an abusive, controlling pervert.

Hardly a candidate for mother of the year. Tonta.

Juanita: or it good be fancy editing like they did when it looked like Isa was going to catch Dan and Cam in the act.

Avances are often edited to be vague or misleading. I have often wondered whether we should even put them in.

Nanette, you're absolutely right. We've been fooled any number of times with misleading avances. But (to respond to UA's comment), I still think they're worth putting in. Misdirection is often part of the fun.

Thanks 5ft for another of your always great recaps.
1) Kat you said “Rafael wants D'Andres to hold on to the results in case he needs to show them to Camila later”. That’s a scary thought because no doubt Camila is going to demand to see the DNA results and guess what, they will be as missing as that letter Don Daniel wrote to D’Andres.

2) I’m willing to bet that despite some of our wishes, there is no way the writers are going to let Luzma put her baby up for adoption to a stranger. I may be wrong but these are my bets:
a) she will miscarry.
b) she will fall in love with the baby after carrying it for 9 months and decide to keep it.
c) Camila will marry and adopt the baby.

3) I realize that Luzma is a teenager but still I wish she had a more truthful/sympathetic way of explaining to Pablo that she’s just not emotionally ready to accept his love and affection. It breaks my heart to see him try so hard to be there for her, to convince her that he loves her as much as ever, only to be rejected.

4) Alonzo and Isadora’s hug and kiss did in look a bit creepy for a mother grown son embrace. That close should have ended when he was 2 or 3 years old. She treats him like he’s a kid. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her tuck him in bed and give him a cute little stuffed animal to cuddle .

5) I had actually looked up the word “ca-fue” and when I found nothing, I assumed it was comparable to our “cafe latte” or cappuccino .

I didn't previously comment on the Hissadora/Alonssso embrace, but I agree; it was creepy. These two have no boundaries.

I wasn't a bit surprised that Dan's Dad claimed that he was positive that the man (Aaron) in the picture was indeed his son. Don't forget that this man is shady and is in it for the money. He was too money greedy to admit that he has no idea what his son looks like.

Foxy, I think 5ft's explanation for cafue is correct. Meaning it's old coffee, fue meaning gone, old. It was supposed to be a joke.

Juanita: "I still think they're worth putting in. Misdirection is often part of the fun." I agree. I breathed a sigh of relief when Isa did not catch Cam and Dan, only to have her make off with the divorce papers!!!

Foxy: Does Isa know that Francisco (I think that's his name) hadn't seen Daniel since he was a child--if ever?

Nanette, I just got in and read your comment. I must admit that I don't recall if during the conversation between Isa and Francisco anything was mentioned about the last time Francisco had seen Dan. That's very interesting though because I did wonder why Isa was drilling him asking over and over if he was sure.
If someone else knows the answer please comment.
