Refugio Para el Amor #164 Thu 11/29/12 Mateo Finds His Family; Karma Finds Gala and Julie

In my last recap of this TN, Vivi is joining me doing this recap. We started this TN together and did two hour recaps every other day, until the rest of our wonderful team joined us. So I thought it was fitting for Vivi to join me. Now on to the recap. -- Madelaine
------
PART I (BY MADELAINE): THE CHILD OF LOVE IS FOUND
Rosa's Den of Insanity:
Luci is with la loca Rosa in her den of insanity and has confessed that she wrenched that bebe out of Luci's arms and has the nerve to ask Luci for forgiveness. Her soul is in torment, doncha know. Luci, however, doesn't care about la loca Rosa's soul, she just wants to know where her bebe is and like right now! Luci grabs la loca's arms and is shaking her wanting that info like yesterday already! Luci is so distraught she is actually begging her.

Max in the Sitting Room:
He is sitting in the sitting room, of course at the Torreslanda Home, looking beside himself when Rod comes in. Rod wants to know what is up with his la loca Mama now??? Max tells him she is very bad off and thinks she is dying. Rod really doesn't think it is that bad. Max says this is his wife, his life partner and now he fully understands the vow of till death do us part. Rod is disgusted and says that she was supposed to protect her children, and what did she do? She separated Rod from Luci the love of his life. Rod has no time for forgiveness and he's not forgiving his loca Mama. Rod goes, and Max' cell phone rings, it is wait for it, no not Vicki, it is Jorge, Pato's therapist. He tells Max that there is a surgeon that will be in Mexico for a conference that specializes in spinal surgery, this surgeon is internationally known, and Pato has a chance to see him. Max tells Jorge finally some good news. Max is very happy. Max acknowledges to Jorge that there are risks but Pato is willing to take them. We in Viewerville are very worried about Pato now!

Rosa's Den of Insanity:
Luci is now shaking the daylights, as if la loca ever had them, out of Rosa and asking over and over where her son is. Luci is really frenzied here, her eyes are wide, filled with tears and the pain is very visible on her face. Rod comes in about this time and pulls Luci off his la loca Mama. Luci lets Rod know what his la loca Mama imparted to her, just minutes ago. La loca, in utter madness, is muttering to herself how it is all her fault. Rod is flabbergasted! Rosa la loca has gotten on her knees and tells Rod it is necessary for him to forgive her. She is completely and utterly mad!

Street Corner in the D.F.:
Don Chelo is on the corner, by himself for a change, selling those newspapers, when who should come up and greet him?? That's right Viewerville it is Pato! Don Chelo asks him if he can help him in anyway. Pato asks if he is addressing Don Chelo and gets a si, of course. Pato tells him he is Patricio Torreslanda the brother of Rodrigo Torreslanda. Don Chelo still wants to know what he can do for Pato. So Pato gets to his mission and says he came to visit Mateo of course. Luci, Rod and Alexia miss him. Don Chelo is trying to blow Pato off, in his usual way and tells Pato that Mateo isn't with him today and Dona Chuy took him off somewhere, liar, liar pants on fire. Pato says what a shame. Now Pato wants to wait for Mateo to come back. Don Chelo so doesn't want that. Don Chelo wants to know if Pato knows about the adoption plan Rod suggested to Don Chelo. Of course, Pato knows. Well Don Chelo says now he will NOT allow Mateo to be adopted, this is HIS child and he won't be separated from HIS Mateo. Pato just wants to see Mateo and is looking very distressed!

Back to Rosa's Den of Insanity:
Luci is telling Rod that la loca must know where their son is. Now Rod grabs his la loca Mama and tells her to stop with the mumbo jumbo and tell them where their son is already! Rosa, still in her own little insane world, tells them that yes, she took that bebe out of Luci's arms and then tells the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help her Dios, or her equivalent of same, and says she GAVE THE BEBE TO GAGME!!!!! And that Gagme took the bebe away. Luci is beyond shocked and awed now, along with poor Rod. Now La Loca is repeating that Gagme took the bebe away.

Restaurant of the Stupid, Totally Clueless Partay Girls:
So Mirko along with Gagme, Champagne Queen and Fernanda have gathered to sign those papers, doncha know, giving their total financial gains, er, fortune over to that grifter Mirko. I am cheering Gagme on to sign already, jus' sayin'. Mirko assures them they will be very rich, doncha know! Does Gagme see that Super-sized Pie Cart rolling over her, of course not and she, wait for it, SIGNS THE PAPERS. We in Viewerville are so poised for her complete down fall. They all toast to their "success" with red wine, except Champagne Queen of course, who has the ever present bubbly to toast with. Cheers to our "success" er, doom!

Het Het: Yay!!!!
I have one last scene in Het Het and of course it involves Don Aquiles, it is the reading of his will, doncha know. Present at the reading is Magda, Violeta, Procopio and Baboso, I don't think they have ever given us his real name. Of course the will starts out with the obligatory, being of sound mind and body, blah blah. The first bequest, Aquiles’ beloved truck, goes to Baboso, surprise, surprise. I believe Copio benefits from some of the business and rental payments. He also thought of Copio as a friend. Wow! Magda wants to know why she and Vio are even there. The lawyer tells her, it ain't over yet. The rest of his estate goes to Magda and Violeta, that would be the rest of his bidness, his lands, property and house. Magda is impressed as is Vio.

Back to the Street Corner in D.F.:
Pato tries to explain to Don Chelo that Rod's intention isn't to take Mateo out of the Don's life but to provide a better life for Mateo. Pato would like a favor, and asks Don Chelo to take him to the place he found Mateo. Don Chelo says the garbage cans? Pato wants to see with his own eyes where he found Mateo. Don Chelo looks verklempt.

Torreslanda House:
Luci is way beyond pithed now, and is stomping out of that loveless house of pain, vowing nevva, eva to darken its doors again and Rod is right behind her. Rod grabs her and tells her he can't believe his mother got rid of her own flesh and blood. Luci is so done and they are shouting so loudly, that Frigid and Mati have come out to see what is going on!

Rosa's Den of Insanity:
Max is with Rosa now, having learned she stole their grandson. How could she have kept this secret for FIVE YEARS! Ok , is everyone thinking that Max has also lost it, just about now? La loca says simply ,in her lunatic way, that she just had to confess everything to Rod and Luci, and she is still ranting about stealing the bebe. Max is lookin' totally devastated and disillusioned as he watches her rant.

Infamous Garbage Cans in the D.F.:
Don Chelo has finally caved and brought Pato to the garbage cans he found poor lil Roddy/Mateo in. Don Chelo explains to Pato it was pouring rain that night he found Mateo, the bebe barely had anything on and the air was cold and the bebe was very cold. Don Chelo says the poor bebe was so cold, defenseless. Pato tells him the same about the Mama, she was defenseless too, and has suffered, lo these many years. Pato asks how far the clinic is from this spot, and Don Chelo tells him about three blocks (cuadras). Pato then tells him he was so close to his Mama when Don Chelo found him.

Luci's Apartment that isn't filled with much light or hope right now:
Rod tells Luci he wants to go confront Gagme on his own. Luci isn't allowing that, no siree bob, she isn't. She wants to confront the guttersnipe herself! Rod feels, if he confronts her alone, he will get to the truth, what has Rod been smokin', jus'sayin'. He has Luci by the arms tryin' to shake some sense into her, when Mama Paz to the rescue. She wants to know what the hey is goin' on! Luci informs Paz that la loca Rosa and Gagme stole her bebe! Paz can't believe it and Luci is screaming she is going to confront the gagging one. Paz tells Luci oh, no you aren't and tells Rod to handle it, handle it. Rod goes and Luci struggles with her Mama Paz, who now has her by the arms. Mama Paz tells Luci she is sooo stayin' put and punto!

The Case of the Raging Rod:
Rod is in a rage, as he is driving mind you, he calls Gagme and wants a meet at the apartment, and gets a response of so sorry, so sad, can't. He says she better be there, click! Then he rips the blue tooth out of his ear!

The Apartment of No Love Lost:
Rod is swilling the whiskey, looks like Jack, but could be Wild Turkey for all I know, anyhoo he is so beyond pithed. Gagme comes in and says I'm herrrre. What do you want she asks him? Rod wants her to join him in a drink. After handing her the drink, the name calling begins and boy does she so deserve everything he is dishing out! He calls her perverse, vile and he can't believe she is a living, breathing being! She goes to slap the crap out of him, but he stays that hand. Yay! He now puts her in a choke hold and demands to know where his son is! He releases the choke hold, turns her to face him, is squeezing that face of hers, and informs her, his la loca Mama has spilled the frijoles in front of him and Luci and now he wants to know where his son is! She instead, shows her grill for him to see as wide as it will go. Bitch!!! She tells him he's crazy! He says not so, my la loca Mama spilled everything and then of course she says his mama is crazy! Gagme reminds Rod that his la loca Mama is a criminal and that the family protected her all these years! Then she tries to tell Rod that this is his loca Mama's revenge for her divorcing Rod, but unbeknownst to either one of them, Ms B/Frigid is listening to every single word. O. M. Gee what will B/Frigid do now? Hmmmm????

Boxcar Barrio:
*** Explicit Emotions Advisory Brought to You By Your Recapper**** Ok, y'all I advise you to have a box of tissues, cup of good strong tea, or other beverage handy and get ready for some raw emotions. Remember I warned you. Pato and Don Chelo have come back to the Boxcar Barrio. Mateo is there with Dona Chuy and Pato says you must be Mateo. Mateo wants to know who he is, Pato tells him I'm your, er, brother of Rod. Mateo is very happy to meet Pato and shakes his hand, and Pato lovingly holds on to that hand. Mateo offers refreshments to Pato, but Pato says no thanks and won't let go of Mateo's hand, the nephew he hasn't seen in a long time! Pato says so you are learning your letters, and Mateo shows him the M that Alexia taught him and he also tells Pato he isn't in school. Pato wants to help him with the letters, but first Mateo wants to take his outer shirt off, he's too warm. We in Viewerville are holding our collective breaths. We are also saying , show us the medal already, jus' sayin'. Pato helps him take that outer shirt off and wait for it, THERE IS THE MEDAL FOR PATO TO SEE!!!! Pato doesn't say anything, just stares at it. Mateo is talking about his letters again, he knows M is for Mateo and Mama and now he wants to learn the letter P for Papa and Patricio, awww cute! Pato is starting to cry, as I suspect all of us in Viewerville are beginning to, and Mateo asks him why he is crying. Pato is reaching for the medal and asks if it is Mateo's. Don Chelo tells Pato it is Mateo's and has always been with him. Pato informs them that this is the medal he got for the bebe, as a matter of fact, he placed this medal around the neck of the bebe shortly after he was born in the hospital. Mateo says he doesn't understand if this is true. Don Chelo has to sit down, realizing the truth he has been hiding from now for five years, and he looks mighty sad. Pato turns Mateo around and assures him this is true. He tells Mateo that I am the brother of your Papa, I am your Tio. Mateo is now very confused and looks at everyone around the room. Pato is very overcome with emotion, he can barely speak, as he holds Mateo's hand, and he asks Mateo to let his Papa Chelo explain it to him. So Don Chelo now has to tell Mateo the truth. He tells Mateo that he loves him, he is his son in his heart, he loves him most in this world, but he is not his real father. Mateo says you aren't my Papa? Pato tells him no he isn't, he has a Mama and Papa. Mateo is amazed he has a Mama and Don Chelo tells him, yes indeed you have a Mama! Don Chelo finally tells Mateo that his friends, Luci and Rod are his TRUE PARENTS. Not a dry eye in this scene, nor in Viewerville I suspect. I have to take a minute here, to drink my tea, and dry my eyes. Ok, I'm back now. Now then, Pato asks Mateo if he'd like to see his parents. Mateo nods yes and Mateo hugs Don Chelo and cries. Mateo says Tio Patricio and Pato says yes. Don Chelo is very distraught and Dona Chuy comforts him. Now Mateo and Pato hug, best hug I've ever seen, jus' sayin', and here ends my part of this recap.

PART II (BY VIVI): MOTHER AND CHILD REUNION*
The cage match between Gala and Rod continues in the Dungeon in the Sky. Gala’s a scrappy fighter. She’s not intimidated by Rod the Bod’s muscles, yelling, or shaking. She gives just as good as she gets, and threatens to sue him for defamation if he continues to accuse her of stealing his child. In fact, she’ll start by putting a story about it in her magazine. Rod grabs her by the scruff of her neck to try to shake the truth out of her, but Grillz is made of stronger stuff than he (but, we always knew that). Luci enters the apartment spoiling for a fight too. Since he’s getting nowhere, Rod the Bod decides to exit the ring and go hide in the bedroom so that his tag team partner, Luciana Linares La Luchadora, can have a go at Grillz. Grillz shows us how she got her name by giving her new opponent a huge satisfied grin as Luchadora enters the ring..errr, living room.
G: Well, well. Look who has come—the offended “domestica.” (Chuckle)
L: Alight now Gala. You WILL tell ME the truth. WHERE IS MY SON?!!!!!!!!!
G: (chuckle, grin) Look, domestica, it’s one thing for me to permit Rod’s accusations (reclamos), and quite another for me to permit you to do it. If you accuse me again, I’m going to sue you for defamation. I have no idea where your spawn is. I already told Rod.
L: Well, Sra. Roselena doesn't say the same thing. She says she gave him to you, and YOU know where my son is, and you’re going to tell me right now Gala!

Luchadora drags Grillz up off the couch and starts to shake her while yelling her new mantra, “WHERE IS MY SON?!!!!!” Having already been shaken by the best, Rod the Bod, Grillz is not stirred by Luchadora’s efforts. She wonders how Luci could believe that demented harpy Rosa, who has always hated her. “I have no idea (where your son is)!” From outside the ring comes an assist for Luchadora. It’s Brigida la Frigida, who interrupts to give Luchadora more ammunition for her fight with Grillz. It’s the hospital bracelet worn by Baby Boy Roddy Torreslanda. Frigida calls Grillz a liar and says she found the bracelet in one of her purses. Luchadora grabs the bracelet, reads it, and then looks at Grillz with a whole new level of hatred burning in her eyes.

We take a break from the cage match in the Dungeon, and head to the silent Mausoleum that was once the home of the Torreslandas. Hannah, formerly Torreslanda, now Jacinto, walks into the house with Mati. Mati is so sad about Rosa, who is currently sleeping under the influence of the drugs prescribed by Dr. Hauser. Hannah has come to get some of her clothes—the rest will be sent along with Genaro to be delivered to her new home. Hannah also intends to see her mother on this visit. Mati marvels that Hannah is now a woman. But instead of this house being filled with happiness as it should be, it’s filled with sadness and desolation. Hannah is not going to buy into this TL curse of unhappiness. She is happier than she had imagined she could be. “I love Lorenzo with all my might. I’m so happy that he embraces me, that he’s with me. This happiness is stronger than all the evil deeds my mother has committed.  Let her bad deeds stay in this house, with her. I no longer want to suffer because of that.”

Back to the cage match. Grillz is asking for a beat down. She eggs on Luchadora. “Hang on to that bracelet domestica, because it’s going to be the only reminder you’ll have left of your spawn.”  Luchadora winds up from all the way on the other side of the ring, heading straight for Grillz’ grill. SMACK!! A right bitch slap across Grillz’ left cheek. SMACK!!!  An immediate follow-up backhand pimp slap across Grillz’ right cheek, which drops her to the couch holding her face. Satisfying for Viewerville, for sure, but being the spawn of Satan, Grillz is not so easily knocked out for the count. Under the tussled flat-ironed blonde mane, we hear an evil chuckle. Then we see that evil grin again. “Look wretch, I already don’t feel the pain (of the slaps). But for you, the pain of not knowing if your son is alive or dead is going to accompany you ALL YOUR LIFE! Maldita domestica!” She grabs Luchadora and throws her on the couch in order to make her escape out the door. Luchadora runs after her and yells for Frigida to grab her (agarrar), but Grillz is too quick and too slippery for them. Rod the Bod finally emerges from the bedroom, wondering what all the yelling is about. He grabs Luchadora and prevents her from running out the door, yelling at her to calm down. He tells Frigida to grab her, while he runs out the door after Grillz. The cage match is over, and although Luchadora got in some good licks, it’s Grillz who wins this battle. But we know she won’t win the war.

Unfortunately, Luci does not know that the end of her suffering is near. She shrugs off Brigida’s attempts to calm her down, falls into the couch, and lets out a primal scream. “I WANT MY SON!!!!!!!!”

Let’s take another breather and head to the TL Mausoleum. Rosa rocks back and forth on the window seat in her bedroom, contemplating her hands, when Hannah walks in behind her.
R: I’ve lost everything. I’ve lost everything because of my love for you Hannah. Because of my love for your bothers…for the family. I lost everything for you, my children. Are you going to stay here with me?
H: (gently stroking her mother’s hair) No, Mama. I came to see you, to say farewell (a despedirme).
R: When are you coming back to see me?
H: Never Mama. I only came to say goodbye. You are never going to see me again. For me, you are dead. Hannah kisses the top of Rosa’d head and leaves, but Rosa is too lost in her crazy delusions and private conversation with her god to notice. She is His chosen one.

Rod comes back to the Dungeon in the Sky empty-handed. Gala managed to escape in her car, and Luci is not a happy camper. She is hysterical at this point. She hands Rod the baby bracelet. Usually sweet faced Luci looks like a red-eyed Fury straight out of a Greek tragedy. She orders Rod to FIND GALA!

Gala’s also giving orders. She’s ordering Mirko over the phone to pack his bags because they are leaving the country TODAY!  They’ll meet at the airport and Julie is coming with. Her next call is Julie telling her the same thing. Only take the necessities. They have to get out of Dodge today!

Rod, who up to now has failed in his manly duties to protect the woman he loves and his children, and to punish the baddies, swears he will have Gala thrown in jail for her crime, even though she is the mother of his child. He begs Luci not to leave the apartment while he goes to pick up Alexia from kindergarten. She sinks to a chair, lost in despair, and Brigida chooses this moment to make a lame apology. She admits that even though at one point she was part of the Blonde Bitches’ evil schemes, she had nothing to do with what they did to the baby. She just found the bracelet and kept it, until just now when she knew what to do with it. Luci ignores her. Viewerville rolls their eyes. But it’s no surprise that Brigida knows which way the winds of change are blowing and wants to make sure she’s going with it. She goes to answer a knock at the door.

The camera closes in on Luci’s anguished face, and so we and she do not see who enters. We then see a small gloved hand touch Luci’s shoulder and she looks up and turns around in surprise to find little Mateo. He takes off his hat and looks at her with big soulful eyes—she says his name and hugs him close as tears begin to fall from her own big soulful eyes. Pato wheels close and says here is her son. Chelo joins in and shows Luci the medallion Mateo was wearing when he found him all those years ago. Luci takes it in shocked disbelief and begins to look at Mateo’s face in wonder. She strokes his face and looks into his eyes as Pato takes the medallion and reenacts the intimate scene the three of them took part in five years ago when Mateo/Roddy was a newborn in the hospital. Pato places the medallion gently around Mateo’s neck. Luci holds him close to her and begins to cry from a mix of emotions—sadness of years lost; joy of finally holding her child in her arms; relief of no longer having to search; and guilt of feeling responsible for his "loss" in the first place. She begs Mateo to forgive her. The little guy just looks content to be in a loving mama’s arms.

Gala is a bitch, and so is Karma. We all knew that, but Gala is only starting to learn it. She bitches at the airline counter ticket lady because the tickets Mirko said were waiting for her and Julie are not in the system. Yes, the flight info that Mirko sent her is correct, but she and mama Julie are not booked on it. Gala looks like her double cage match has given her a major headache—a headache that is getting worse by the minute when she realizes Mirko Cazador (his last name means hunter, ha!) is already on the plane and intends to leave without her. Julie arrives and decides they should hurry on to the gate anyway to try to catch up to Mirko and stop the plane. Gala follows.

A happier mother and child are holding each other tight. Luci asks Chelo why he lied to her about Mateo’s age all those years ago. Chelo’s excuse is almost as lame as Brigida’s excuse for not fessing up about the bracelet. He saw that Luci was so interested in Mateo at the time that it caused him to be mistrustful. “You know how it is.” (NO CHELO! We don’t know how it is. LAME!) He admits Mateo was only two months at the time.

Little Mateo joins the conversation and innocently asks if he will be able to go with his Papa Chelo. “Yes. He’s your Papa, and he will always be your Papa.” Mateo goes over to Chelo and hugs him. “Papa Chelo. I love you a lot.” Alexia runs in and immediately gives Mateo a hug and a kiss. Rod is surprised to find all the visitors there.  Luci walks up to him, takes his face in her hands, and tearfully tells him that Mateo is their son. Rod walks over to Mateo, kneels down and pulls him into a big hug. His picks him up over his head and shouts, “You are our son, Mateo!” Luci has also taken Alexia into her arms and the four come together in a big hug, as the happily united family they will be from now on.

Gala and Julie are still making their way from one part of the airport to another. Gala is on her phone with the bank authorizing a transfer of funds from her savings to her debit card. Uh oh! Looks like there is no money to transfer. As Gala yells about there being an error, Julie goes ahead of her onto the escalator. It seems to be dawning on her faster than it is on Gala that they’ve been swindled. Usually wearing something too short or too tight for her age, Julie chose today of all days to wear sensible, wide legged, flowing linen pants. Karma rears her ugly head once again, and a leg of Julie’s pants gets caught in the teeth of the top of the LONG escalator. She loses her balance and goes tumbling backwards, down, down, down, past Gala—a symbol of the slow descent to hell the rest of their lives will be from this point on.  Rewind it a few times Viewerville. It doesn’t stop being amusing.

Let’s switch gears to watch our favorite characters who are finally emerging from the hell they have been living in the last few years. The party has moved back to Luci’s happy apartment. Rod, Alexia, Chelo, Pato, Paz, Claudio, Hannah and Lorenzo are in the living room. Alexia has just asked if Chelo will officially become part of their family now, and gives him a sweet kiss on the cheek when he accepts. It may be dawning on Chelo that he is not losing Mateo, but instead gaining a huge loving family.

Pato gets off of a call with a big smile on his face. He explains that tomorrow he has an appointment to meet with a famous surgeon who may be his only hope of recuperating. Claudio points out that he’s already quite recuperated, but for Pato that only means being able to walk again. Rod points out the risks of the operation, but for Pato it’s ALL OR NOTHING. The mountain in Het Het is waiting for him to climb (escalar). Everyone tries to look optimistic, but they really look worried.

Meanwhile, inside what would have been Roddy’s nursery, Luci is watching as Mateo explores the room. He plays with the mobile over the golden crib where he never got the chance to sleep.
L: Do you like it?
M: Yes. It’s really nice.
L: This room is yours. It’s been waiting for you for five years.
M: Five years?!
L: Now we’re going to have to get rid of the cradle because you’re not going to fit (caber).
M: It’s really big (looking around the room). Can my Papa Chelo sleep here with me…when we come to visit you?
L: (choosing her words carefully) I would like for you to sleep here. And your Papa Chelo has his wagon that he likes a lot, and he will be able to come here whenever he wants, and you can go see him whenever you want.
M: You want me to live here, in this place that is so nice?!
L: Yes, everything that is here is yours.
M: And will my Papa Chelo also come to live here?
L: (Again at a loss for words.) But your Papa Chelo can’t leave Doña Chuy all alone either. Plus, imagine, you could have two homes, and come and go whenever you want. And your Papa Chelo and Doña Chuy can also come and go whenever they want. (Big happy smile from Mateo.) But I’d really like for you to live here with me. (She starts to get teary.)
M: But if I stay here my Papa will have to sleep all alone.
L: (Fully crying now.) You can go and visit whenever you want. But I’ve waited so long, and I missed you so much, every second, every moment of my life. I don’t want you to leave again. I promise you that you will be able to see Don Chelo whenever you want. I know that he’s your papa. Please. We can give it a try to see how you feel. You can choose your bed…yes?
M: I thought my mamita was dead. I always wanted a mama to cover me with kisses, affection (cariño), and cuddles (apapachos). Can I cover you with kisses, affection and cuddles?
L: Of course. I also want to cover you with kisses and cuddles. I don’t ever want to let you go. Te quiero mucho. Te amo.
M: Te quiero mucho, Mama.

Luci is holding Mateo tight, but looks up into his face after he says these magic words.
L: What did you call me?
M: Mama.

They both repeat the beloved magical word, Mama, and smile at each other. Luci pulls Mateo close once more and he gives her a loving kiss on her brow. Luci makes the sign of the blessing, and the two lose themselves in this moment of complete love and bliss.

Your recapper is also lost in this moment of love and bliss, and I am grateful to have such a lovely moment on which to end my Refugio recapping duties. Gracias amigos!—Vivi

Congrats on a great recap of a great episode. Gala and Julie are about to find out that Karma is a Bitch and She has PMS.

Gala's forthcoming Karmageddon at least will spare little Alexia the pain that Jana has experienced.

Let me go on record saying -- as the daughter of a toxic mother -- that I was cheering Jana through her final farewell to Roselena. Totally appropriate as she never truly existed for Roselena.

More later.

Wow Madelaine and Vivi this was great! I am so happy the writers didn't drag out the family reunion any longer. I know there are other things to be resolved (and if Pato doesn't make it, tonight was the finale for me) but today was a very satisfying episode for me.

Mads - Kudos for you keeping it together when Pato meets Mateo. BP is such a great actor and I was so psyched he got to "discover" Mateo/Rod. His face when he saw the medallion was perfect and reflected both his joy and sorrow.

Vivi - ITA about Don Chelo's LAME excuse. And when he was continuing to act stupid w/Pato at the start of the episode, I wanted to strangle him. While I can appreciate all he has done for Mateo and how he changed his life for the child, Mateo had two parents, who were desperate to find him.

I just hope the writers don't fail us and let Pato walk again and don't kill him off.

I...am...a...wreck. There is a pile of kleenex on the table. The cat came and cuddled on my lap and tried to pat my face to stop me sniffling. What a wonderful episode...acting eceptional by all, but especially little Matteo.

Mads and Vivi, your dual recap was brilliance and you captured all the emotion and craziness wonderfully. Thank you so much for all your recaps thru the show, but especially this last, very special one.

UA, agree on your sentiments. I totally understood, and applauded, Janna's decision to cut her ties to this woman who was willing to hurt her and destroy her. It is an odd feeling to "love" this person who was your parent, but really as a person want nothing more to do with them. She will find the real love she needs with her new hunky hubby and with her new extended family. (Wait until she gets a load of one of those big noisy dinners!)

As for Gagme and Julie--strangely I actually could care less about them now. With one episode left to wrap things up, I'm almost hoping we spend as little time as possible on them. (Oh, and Gagme grabbing the back of her head constantly...hope her brain implodes.)

But I save Pato for last. The writers are to be thanked for how they brought this so wonderfully full circle to have him be the one finding the truth and bringing Matteo to Luce. When he couldn't even speak--my word, Brandon just knocked that entire scene out of the park. And I was mush.

But now I fear his promise will come true--he said he would give his life to protect her and his nephew at the clinic. Is that the price to be paid for their reunion? All clues and comments seem to point to Pato not making it thru this surgery...lord I pray I'm wrong.( RE gets to live in her insanity and Pato in his goodness no? Yeah--not happy about that.) I'm picking up more kleenex after work to be prepared.

Ladies, you two are awesome. Thank you so much.

Am I ever grateful that Pato was the one to reunite Luci with her son. No Rod in site, thank goodness, it would have just spoiled the moment.

I am afraid that I agree about Pato and surgery. Wish it were so, but I am afraid there is no other way to end this for Pato.

Poor Chelo, he may never recover from all of the love he is going to receive from his new extended family.

It was great the way the bracelet came to light. Fridg know which on which side her bread it buttered.

RE's descent into the hell of her own making is not going to be pretty. Put you have to admire for standing by her until death do they part.

Julie and Gagme's karma better be just as ugly and hateful as they are.

Rosemary Primera

I'd like to say thanks to the recappers; you did a wonderful job! I'm really going to miss this novela!!

Well after that i don't have much make up to remove. Really heart wrenching. I'm glad they had a few scenes in the TL hell and with Gagme and Co. If they had kept up the level of emotion I might have gone BSC myself.

I've been hopeful for Pato but those flash previews show Luci dressed in black and sobbing and that doesn't bode well. Can keep my fingers crossed but worry never the less.

Loved Alexia welcoming Chelo into the family but as I feared our little Mateo did seemed overwhelmed and not really ready to leave Chelo behind. Luci was having to struggle with his wanting to sleep near his father. i see a period of adjustment all around.

Brandon was powerful in those scenes and at one point watching he looked and moved exactly like his father. The acorn does not fall far from the tree. It is going to be interesting to watch how he handles his career.

AMOR- Don’t worry. They’ll manage to pack a LOT into that last hour. Hang in there.

Urban- Yes. I have often compared Alexia and Hannah in my mind. I am SO glad that Alexia will now have a loving mother with Luci. I was cheering when Hannah told Rosa that she’s dead to her and that this is the last time she’ll see her. It doesn’t matter if Rosa is certifiably crazy, she’s toxic to Hannah. Hannah doesn’t need her in her life.

Karen- ITA about Chelo. He was trying my patience too. If he had his way, no one would ever find out the truth.

Daisynjay and Rosemary Primera- I also love that the writers brought things full circle and that it was Pato who brought Roddy back to Luci and they got to reenact their medallion moment. I also really couldn’t care less about the villains at this point. I’m more interested in seeing how the characters I like move forward.

Rosemary Primera- Yes. There is something admirable, and also very sad, about Max sticking it through, till death they do part, with Rosa. In many ways, he’s reaping what he sowed by so often giving into his baser nature (greed, envy, lust for power), instead of his better nature (loving father and loyal friend).

Tricia- Thanks so much for commenting and letting us know you enjoyed it. I’m going to miss this tn too!

Decie Girl- Indeed, this episode was intense and heart wrenching, and we almost needed those quiet moments in Casa TL to give us a bit of a break. ITA about Brandon. Great young actor and he can only get better with time.

Can't wait to see Brandon again! He has a very quiet way about him that is nice to see after all the drama.

Like Juli for example. She's taking the easy way by dying. I'd rather see her live and be poor, with Gala of course.

So not only did Paz NOT lose her daughter when the truth came out, but now she's gained another daughter in Jana, along with a couple more sons. She's the uber-mom and I loved how she took over when Luci was freaking out. (It's ok that Luci escaped since we got to see the SMACK DOWN)!

And Claudio has a whole herd of kids he never had before. He and Paz will be good grandparents. So much more deserving than RL and Max.

They have a lot to wrap up tomorrow. No way can this be done in one hour. Still need comuppance for Max, Lastra and Ivan, Gala, Brigida. Something is going to happen with Aldo and Vicki. And Magda and Vio need to come back for the big wedding that we assume is going to happen. And Pato needs to get through his surgery just fine. Or else.

Kelly

Kelly- I noticed in the scene with the whole family that Alexia went right over to Paz and rested against her in her arms, as if she had been her grandma forever. Yes, she and Claudio will be very good parent and grandparents to the TL brood.

Thank you ladies, for your joint recap of such an emotional episode. I was crying through most of it.

I feel bad for Don Chelo, it seems like there has to be a better solution here than joint custody.

The last episode is only an hour? It seemed like an awful lot has to happen.

I know Julie fell down an escalator, but we don't know that it will kill her.

Sigh, I'm going to miss this one.
So, has it been decided that Corona de Lacrimos is not going to be recapped by Caray Caray? I haven't seen any announcements.

Only halfway through the recap, but thank you Madelaine and Vivi for keeping this telenovela going through your recaps in the early days. I wasn't going to watch it but you gradually drew me in. And I must say I wouldn't have missed it for the world. So beautifully done. The scene with Pato and Mateo was exquisitely moving. So well written, directed and acted. In every nuance.

Oh, and "Apartment of No Love Lost" great!
Now back to read Vivi's part.

Okay, had some things to attend to but back now. VIVI..weren't you having fun with the fight scene! Your luchadora images and your sly shoutout to James Bond "having been shaken by the best, Grillz is not stirred" was a hoot. Honestly, Gala is such a good liar, I almost believed her myself.

And calling the mansion a mausoleum. How apt. Indeed, now I realize that's what that awful gray structure has always appeared. Dead dreams, dead hopes, dead spirits.

The director of this has really pulled some great acting out of previously vapid folks...both the actress playing Luciana and Gabriel Soto have surpassed themselves. I've never seen Brandon Peniche (Pato) before, but he has been tremendous from the beginning, and I am haunted by that beautiful scene where he finally sees the medallion and reaches out to Mateo.

I'm so glad to have seen and experienced this gripping story and very honored to have served (however belatedly) on a recapping team with you both. If you both hadn't had the fortitude to keep the recaps going in the early days I might have skipped it. And this turned out to be a terrific telenovela. One of the best.

EMARIE...CarayCaray is skipping Corona de Lagrimas. It simply did not look recap worthy. And perhaps it will be quickly relegated to the midnight hour and something better will be put in its place. I'm going to watch it regardless, because 7 pm is my TV hour. So if you ever have a question, click on my name and you'll find my email. We can discuss it!

If there's enough interest in Corona de Lagrimas, I might try doing a weekly recap of it. Melinama will certainly give me the space to do so, if I wish. Not detailed as our daily ones are, but hitting the highlights. However, it depends on whether or not this one finds an audience.

I think Don Chelo and Dona Chuy (what is that a nick for?) should be part of this family. They need the kind of love that this newly-formed extended family will generate. Don Chelo needs a real job of some kind, although I don't know what if for some reason he can't sing anymore.

Jana is so much better off without Roselena. Rod will probably reject her, too.

I cried more just now reading your recaps than I did last night.

Madelaine and Vivi, you did charming, utter justice to this amazing episode. Beautiful and heart felt, your insight, humor and details were nothing short of perfect

Along with Judy, Anita, Marta and Frances, I thank you for the marvelous gifts you have given us -time and dedication to craft these wonderful recaps. You educated, enlighted and delighted us. Thank you for your comments and making me feel very much a part of this beloved community. Gracias!

"loveless house of pain", "guttersnipe", "cage match", and "Grillz is made of stronger stuff than he" were only a smattering of my favorites.

The reunion scene was amazing...I was trying (unsuccessfully) to follow exactly what Luci was saying to Mateo about Don Chelo in the nursery so the conversation translation was really appreciated Vivi.

Even in the face of truth, of being caught, Gala STILL thought of nothing but putting the “domestica" in her place - her leering and jeering was disgusting and reprehensible.

ITA that the acting has been superb and last night's episode was the finest I have ever seen.

I read everyone's comments about Pato. I'm blocking out what my head is telling me. My heart says that Pato's heartbreak will come to an end. Not his end, but to a happy, joyous future.

I won't be able to read the finale until Monday but bless you all - I'll think of you while I'm riveted to the TV tonight.

Diana

Whoever was responsible for coaching the child actors in this tn did a great job. They got fabulous performances out of really little kids. I really miss 7 year old Ariche. What a cutie that actor is. And the casting for Mateo was perfect. I like how they put real thought into what children of Rod-Luci and Rod-Gala would loook like.

Judy- I agree that this director also pulled great performances out of an actor like GS who tends to be flat, and ZV who is a very young actress (only 23), as well as the Lorenzo and Hannah actress. Of course, they were surrounded by old pros like Laura F., Roberto B., David O., and Zaide G. (Paz).

Diana and Emarie- I'm glad to hear that Mads and I were able to move you with our recaps. It wasn't difficult with this episode and the Pato-Mateo and Luci-Mateo scenes.

Thanks so much Madelaine and Vivi, and Anita from yesterday. And JudyB and Vivi again! I've been swamped this week so just now catching up. Fabulous recaps all week, thank you all so very much!

I knew there would be a bunch of wet hankies in Viewerville. Those were several touching reunion scenes in a row, and the young Mateo actor was priceless with his face of wonder and quiet watching while all the adults around him were weeping. Very well done by all!

Looks like tonight is going to be a busy night! LOL - Gaga too busy haranguing the ticket clerk while Julie figures out that Mirko is taking off in the plane without them. LOL again! Bullying isn't going to get you out of this mess, Gaga my girl.

UA - Chuy is a nickname for Jesus, or in Doña Chuy's case, Jesusa. They also use Chucho or Chucha.

I want to say thanks to all the recappers. I've been reading and lurking. You've all done a fabulous job as always. I'm going to miss this TN and feel cheated about the one hour FIN.

After Triunfo del Amor, I swore I would never watch anything with Victoria Ruffo in it again, so I'm not going to be watching Corona de Lagrimas. She is my LEAST favorite actress of all, with her giant head and sobbing all the time.

I'm enjoying Amor Bravio - Silvia Navarro is a great actress. I'd like to see her in something with Brandon Peniche.

But, like a lot of you, I'm wait for TBLMOE, Fernando Colunga's next novela - although I'm not a huge Blanca Soto fan, I will always watch anything with FC.

Thanks again recappers - as always your hard work is appreciated!

Thanks y'all for the great, wonderful comments. There was so much emotion in this epi and all the actors really brought it.

I am really happy that Brigida gave Luci the bracelet and apologized to her. Who knew Brigida would be so good with kids, amazing.

BP should be a galan in his next TN. He may not be buff, but those eyes and expressions and his work on this TN should get him there. I can't wait for his next one. I too will really miss this TN and this team of recappers and all those that commented through out this TN.

I want to thank Anita so much for what she said yesterday. I am a shameless cheerleader for TN's and from the first moment I saw this one I had a feeling it was going to be great. I also want to give a shout out to Melinama and Ezra that were in this from the very beginning too, and then went to Eva and then Vivi joined me here and then Judy, Anita, Decie Girl, and Paquita. I am glad we drew you into this story.

This Caray Caray board is one of the best places in the world to learn Spanish. I love the comraderie here and the help I get when I fudge something. Thank you so much.

And a special thank you to Urban who gave us that wonderful karmageddon topic to comment on. Wonderful work.

I hope this team of writers does another TN, they did an incredible job on this TN.

I also want to thank Vivi, Judy, Anita, Decie Girl and Paquita for all the hard work they did and subbing for me when I wasn't able to recap, thank you so much :)

Oh, and Audrey, thank you so much for the last two you recapped for me :)

Oh, I forgot one more recapper, thank you Marta too for all your hard work and for joining us too :)

Usually a telenovela is all wrapped up the day before the last episode, which is then used as a celebration (usually a wedding or equivalent), so I was frustrated as they drug this out. But all's well that ends well. Not a dry eye in the house, the champagne queen going @$$ over teakettle, Rodteo finally with the right folks, la loca gone over the edge, etc. But wait,we still have to finalize the ositos, Melissa's May-December dilemma, Violeta's and Pato's futures - all in one night?
Vamos!

Stand up and take a bow, both of you. Perfect. It could end now and I'd be content.

Things that satisfied me:
>Seeing RE babbling away
>Seeing Max wringing his hands, head down, knowing he's stuck with this insane creature por la vida (no matter how much he loves her)
>Watching the one time I was glad Rod trigger-finger temper was pulled and got Gala in a choke hold
>Seeing Luci's one-two punch in the Gala vs. Luci boxing match
>Seeing Janah's Breaking Away scene
>Seeing Gala's panic when she realizes her bank account has been cleaned out
>Seeing Julie do a Down the Up Staircase Gaviota
>Crying a bucket during the Patricio-Mateo Reunion
>Seeing the reunited and soon to be united family posing together
>Seeing the extended family Chelo is getting (and Chuy and Janah, too) headed by matriarch Paz and Patriarch Claudio
>Hearing Luci explaining the new living arrangements to a dazed child whose only home has been a boxcar and only parent has been a recovering alcoholic

Things that didn't satisfy at all or not quite enough:
>Not knowing why Rod left the room for so long leaving Gala and Luci alone
>FrBrigida "getting away" with hanging on to the bracelet for 5 years
>Gala getting away at all
>Not getting to see Mirko's face, sitting in first class with a glass of champagne
>Don Chelo's lame excuses
>Giving short shrift to Bore-Us, Ofelia, Estelita, Vio & New Boyfriend, Ariche, Melissa-Claudio, Aldo, Pato happy (but not necessarily walking-a la Rogelio), and...OH, WAIT, there's still a possibility, we have ONE more HOUR to go.

UA--'Karma is a Bitch and She has PMS.' Had to read that twice, but once I got it, I almost lost my mugful of specially brewed Chiapas coffe.

Our UA has a great way of putting things, doesn't she?

Now that Refugio is over, I wish we could get Jarocha in to amplify on her earlier remarks as to why Mexican viewers didn't like Patricio--or was it Brandon they didn't like.

I think his role was the most difficult of all of the characters to portray, save Luciana who was on camera most of the time, anguished and denied the love of her life and her child.

His portrayal of a vigorous young man in the prime of his life relegated to an immobile, useless body with life as usual going on around him. He was overnight dependent on people to take care of feeding and changing him like a baby--until Luciana came back into his life. His slow remarkable recovery, his determination in the face of knowing that Luciana was for someone else, was not sufficient to let him quit. His willingness to take the responsibility for his newborn nephew, in his condition, was admirable--he wanted a reason to stay close to Luci, for her to need him, like he needed her. The loss of the baby changed Luci's priorities. But, he was instrumental (as was Claudio and to a certain extent Namurachi) in covering her wounds, even if only superficially and channeling her love and devotion to other endeavours where there was a need.

Back to Pato/Brandon. What he could communicate with just facial gestures was AMAZING.

He got me right from the beginning--and I actually thought this tn might be different when they first met and Rodrigo blew off Luci's request for help on the road. They teased us again when she shows up at TL Mansion and starts to take care of him. Then Rod horns in again, yes, I would call it stalking. But the night of the award ceremony she gets her kiss from Rodrigo and that sealed MY fate. I wonder if Rodrigo, seeing her in "sophisticated city clothing" had anything to do with his growing attraction. I'm glad he let her be herself, though, as Pato would have, too.

Decie--I can't wait for your review on the earlier novela this was based on AND to find out which one you liked better and why (not to put too much pressure on you--D-Day is only 5.5 hours away)
A devoted Refugio fan,
Anita

Apologies for not finishing my first sentence in regard to Pato and ...His portrayal.... My brain was typing faster than my fingers. I should have finished it with UNSURPASSED, or some other superlative.

Wow is all I can say RE: last nites episode. Pretty much all but a couple of loose ends were tied up.

I loved the wrestling descriptions provided by the recappers of Luci/Rod/Gagme's no hold barred battle royal. I think Bridiga wouldve thrown Gagme back in the ring if she could. Good for her for stabbing Gagme in the back.

Boy Gagme is one dense girl. While mama CCQ Julie figured out really fast that their money is about to fly out of the city, Gagme is whinin & cryin to the ticket counter clerk of why her name is on not on the flight. Um..Gagme..you were played by a player. Wonder if they'll show Gagme's final (soon to be ex) friend Fernandina slapping her into next week tonight when she finds out her $$$ flew out also.

I will admit I did wince when Julie fell down that escalator. Yeouch!! And did anyone notice Gagme grabbing her head like she had one heck of a migrane coming on? I have a feeling some bad ju-ju is about to befall the bruja duo.

The Mateo reunion scene with Luci & Rod...definately was a 5 kleenex scene. I think Luci & Rod will keep Chelo & Chuy around. They know they took such good care of Mateo and it would be cruel to suddenly separate him from the only family he's known in his 5 years.

Going to be bittersweet tonite. While I'm exciting to see how the final loose ends are tied up, I'm sad to see this one wind up at the finish line. It's been such a well-acted TN.

~Paula~

WOW!--WOW!--WOW! What an episode!!

Madelaine and Vivi---You guys were superb. I actually read the recap twice. I have never done that before. I hardly know where to start---well, maybe with the episodes title. Madelaine, your title was one of the best, it really caught my eye.

I was writing my notes so fast that I forgot to indicate who said what, but you guys were both superb.

Vivi---these are yours for sure---but being the spawn of Satan, Grilllz is not so easily knocked out for the count. I would like to add that I am not usually in support of violence, but last night I was hoping that Luci could have gotten in a couple more good ones. A black eye or a brused lip would have been great for Gagme.

Another good line but also so true was---Brigida knows which way the winds of change are blowing and wants to make sure she's going with it.

Madelaine---I think these are yours.

Luci is with La Loca Rosa in her den of insanity---A great way of putting it.

Her soul is in torment, doncha know. And I add, it should be.

A symbol of the slow decent to Hell the rest of their lives will be from this point on.

the Torreslanda Mansion = loveless house of pain.

cheers to our "success" er doom--LOL

Urban---I agree that the good Padre needs a vacation. and I add, maybe a good drink. La Loca could drive anyone to drink, even a good Padre.

Diana---Well said. Gala still thought of nothing but putting the "domestica" in her place. I will be cheering when she goes down for the count tonight.

I wonder how much blood pressure went up all over viewer land last night.

Pato---Please don't die tonight.

One last thing. Wasn't Paz in Het Het with Magna and Vio? How did she get to Luci's apartment so fast? Did I miss something?
the gringo

Anita

I love them both and oddly enough for the same reason. it is those Peniche men. They know how to act and have extremely expressive eyes and faces. You can't take your eyes off them in a scene. While I hated the Rod character in the prior version Arturo made him believable even when he was a total rat bastard. You always knew how much he was suffering because of his own stupidity. Soto doesn't have that ability and tended to make the character completely self absorbed.

gringo--Paz came with Luci to attend Lorenzo's wedding. She was already there. Vio and Magda stayed behind to listen to the will, so they missed all the locura at the wedding. No Ariche either.

I need more happy scenes to make up for all of the heartbreak that has happened in this novela! The scene with Lucy and Mateo in the nursery broke my heart. I think it was supposed to be happy but they lost his first FIVE years!

I have loved Pato from the beginning and he was amazing in this episode. I hope everyone is wrong about him dying in tonight's episode!!

Does anyone remember if Paz knew that Lucy's birth father was alive and in prison? Or did she have no information about her true father? My memory is bad but I'm wondering if there is a parallel here with Don Chelo. I remember Paz feeling some sort of remorse over falling in love with Lucy from the moment she was in her arms and not doing more to discover the truth.

Decie--Self-absorbed. You nailed him. I think he learned to be that way at Mamaloca's knee. At least he's had "some" mitigating influences in his life--Mati, Max, Pato and his business associates, Gabe & Marcos. Then he met Luci, then Claudio.

Amanda--We have to wait until Vivi comes back to check postings. If I remember correctly, RE handing Paz the baby was a complete surprise to her. There would be no real reason for a gardner to know much about what was going on with the folks inside the mansion and at the hospital. BUT, I could be wrong.

Amanda- Anita is right that Paz had no idea what was going on with the TL family friends. She might not have heard the info about CL being jailed. Rosa didn't even tell her whose baby it was she was handing her. Paz just knew instinctively that if she didn't take that baby, it wouldn't be safe with Rosa (she was right). I think she eventually figured out the baby was Aurora's because she had seen Aurora come to the house, and she seems to have known Aurora died.

But at the end of the day, the stories are similar. Paz and Galdino kept quiet all those years, not knowing what had become of Luci's father and not making the effort to find him. But they were also very scared of what Rosa would do to Luci and to them. There was also the fear of losing Luci's love. Just like Chelo feared the authorities and losing Mateo. But when Luci went to D.F. and ran into CL, and Paz realized he was her father, she decided Luci HAD to know. When Chelo realized that Luci and Rod were likely Mateo's parents, he tried even harder to keep the truth from coming out.

SO much to say---I like movies but I have never been an avid movie buff. However, I am sure that this one or parts of it will stay with me forever. Great job Univision and actors.

I would also like to say that I have really, really enjoyed the Caray, Caray! bunch. I will be reading some of your comments on other novelas in the future I'm sure.

Two brief questions---
#1 Namurachi sounds like a Japanese name to me. Is it? Does anyone know?
#2 It was said that this Refugio is a re-make. What was the name of the original?
the gringo

gringo-

The original was a Venezuelan 1977 tn called La Zulianita. The next version was called Morelia and was made in 1995. Tis is the version Decie Girl saw.

Namurachi is the name of a famous canyon in the State of Chihuahua, where San Francisco el Alto is located.

Hey Anon 7:09- You'll see that your comments disappeared. Not to worry, I'll repost it for you when we post the finale recap tonight. I know the final is showing tonight, but your comment is still a spoiler for those who have only watched up to this episode when they read this recap. Hope you don't mind.

My thanks and cheers for all the recappers and most especially to Vivi. This is my first participation in the Caray blogs although My first tn was Teresa. I have enjoyed that very much but I wasnt aware of the recap/blog CarayCaray until I accidentally stumbled thru it while looking for a English recap of Teresa. I barely can speak Spanish but I do read a little bit of it. I have learned a lot from the wonderful recappers. Now I can not live without CarayCaray.
Since this is our last exchange( I have already seen the east cable Final episode)I wish to extend my gratitude to the writers and the recappers. I choked and my throat had a big painful lump since yesterday. As I said I cried over the poignant Procopio/Don A. scene but the funeral procession robbed the televiewers of more important would be scenes. i.e. Pato's future. Also I think that this tn is really the story of Luciana's journey thru life, being misplaced since birth then finding her way back to fulfill her destiny. What a great story. I would have love to see dvds of the other versions of this story.

Great to see you here Vida2. We are so glad you found us and joined us here. I always enjoyed your comments.

Marta will be sending along the finale to me when she's done, so I hope you come back to comment on the finale too.

Merecedes, I must disagree. However, I'm very tired right now so I will write out my thoughts tomorrow morning before I go out to meet friends for the Met matinee.

Mercedes and AMOR, I have also moved your comments over to the finale recap to get the conversation going there. See you over on the finale.

Urban- Have a great time at the Met.
