Amor Bravío #85 (Uni 80) Mon 12/17/12

Capitulo 85:   Ready, Aim....

Lo del pasado

The official at the police station assures Rafael that there are adequate charges to keep Leoncerdo in prison a long time and there are no charges pending against Andres Duarte.  With regard to the missing pistol, finding it would bring another murder charge against him.  Becerra and Teresa talk about Dante and about Daniel's arrest.  Alonssso is served, attempts to rip El Diablo a new one, and finally walks off, leaving Hissadora to demand to know what side El Diablo is on.

Lo de nuevo

Becerra in office / Daniel at Vivi's: They talk on the phone about Teresa's fact-finding mission and Dante. Daniel isn't sure what company he works for, but is sure that it's a large one. Daniel doesn't quite understand why there is no record of his arrest.  Becerra tells him he is about to file the papers regarding Daniel's dual citizenship, which will give him protection in this situation. Since Francisco Javier is Mexican, this will not be a problem. Daniel is pleased at this, since his mother loved Mexico and his heart has been stolen by a Mexican lady.

Outdoors: Hissadora tells El Diablo she knows him very well, that he only does what suits himself. He replies that he knows the same about her. She wants to make sure that their actions benefit the two of them. He asks whether she is alright with the result that her son goes to prison. She feels that they are weaker with him than without him. He loves her cynicism and she tells him he is without limits. She kisses her fingertip and places it on his lips, but she has not fooled him... or us.  The string section is giving this some staccato moves and a gallop or two.

La Buenaventura, Parlour: Mariano enters with the two children and Cayetano following them.  At Rocio's question about who the boy is, Cayetano tells her that Refugio was hiding him in her room. He is not pleased [We suspect she will be even less so], saying that this was a bad thing to do because Ana was involved. Mariano tells Ana that his only problem with this is that she didn't trust him to tell him about this. She asks if Roman can stay with them until after the Monterde party. Refugio says that Padre Anselmo can help; he has a place with people who can help. Mariano is alright with that and Ana is grateful. The three of them and Refugio leave and Rocio tells her husband she does not want to go to the party at La Malquerida. She seems to weaken when he reminds her that Pablo will be there and she says she hopes that the girl won't be. [Dream on, Rocio; your husband is not so delusional about this.]

Cabaña: Camila confides in Maja that she hopes Mariano doesn't get any romantic hopes up. Yes, he's a good man, but el corazón no se manda. . Alonssso knocks and enters showing Camila the summons. He's panicking about the possibility of going to prison for defaulting on the contract and talking faster than the guy in the old Federal Express commercials. She tells him they will speak to Daniel about this. “But you have to relax!” Alonssso won't – or can't – and with a lot of nervous gestures begs her to help him. He asks for one embrace and we're hoping Camila won't give it to him. However, she does.

Courtyard: Camila tells the staff that all work is to be suspended because of the celebration of the return of Duende to the ranch. They are the best workers and they will toast her uncle, who would be proud of this moment.

Rectory: Padre Anselmo impresses upon Tolentino that the religious life is not for the lovelorn, but for those with a genuine calling. He implores him to be patient.  Mariano arrives; they are old friends (like Don Daniel and Padre Baldomero back in the day). Tolentino takes his leave and the two men sit down to talk.

La Malquerida, Parlour: Ximeana arrives in her typical ramerawear and Hissadora tells her that they must take advantage of the party situation tomorrow to advance their plans. Ximeana is to contact her friend to tell him that tomorrow is the day.

Rectory: The two friends have caught up to each other's lives and Teresa's name enters the conversation. Mariano describes her as “enchanting” and asks if she is married with children. The padre tells him no, that she is a successful lawyer and does not have a relationship. That Mariano was the love of her life (and she wouldn't like that he is saying so). Just as those in Ciudad de Caray have decreed. They finish their coffee and make a reference to helping Roman before they part company.

La Malquerida, Parlour: Ximeana asks what they should do if things don't go as planned. Hissadora makes it clear that there is no margin for error. That when one makes this kind of a decision the thing to do is to keep one's eye on the bullet ball. Ximeana never thought to kill anyone, but Hissadora tells her that she won't think about it when they two of them own La Malquerida. [In your dreams, Mama Dragon.]

El Diablo's Lair: Natalia enters looking like she's wearing a little girl's nightgown. She takes her seat in front of the desk. El Diablo tells her he has been preparing her office and getting her a computer and other stuff she will need. She explains she has worked for a doctor and at La Malquerida so this will be new for her; he expresses his confidence in her ability to learn new things. He hands her a checque for a week's salary in advance and some expense money. She is floored at the amount (which is not shared with us) as he mentions that her car is at the agency waiting to be picked up. She is surprised because the money is much more than she has previously made in a month and also she doesn't know how to drive. He tells her he will assign one of his young men to instruct her. Consider it a loan. He wants her to feel good working for him because he wants her with him for a long time. [There are neither clocks nor calendars in hell.]

Jewelry Store (Slight correction applied): Pablo – looking adorable in his grey ranch wear – awaits Mariano's assistance in picking out an engagement ring for Luzma.  Mariano offers to come with Pablo for the "pedir la mano," asking Piedad for Luzma's hand in marriage.  Pablo told Mariano that he was afraid Mariano might make Piedad nervous, so he'd rather it just be the three of them.  He picks out a ring while Mariano picks up a heart-shaped pendant. He intends to give it to Camila the next day after the party. [Maja really should tell him to not embarrass himself.]

El Diablo's Lair: He hands Natalia a checque to be deposited to Augustina's account. As she gets up and says she'll take care of it right away he tells her that her car will be ready and she'll have her first driving lesson when she gets back. She is no sooner out the door that he calls Augustina to tell her that her first commissions are being deposited as he speaks. At her surprise he tells her that her payment is the largest because she sold the most. Camila enters the parlour during this conversation and displays her approval at Augustina's glee that this is the first money she has earned. El Diablo finally ends the conversation and his expression changes as he puts down his cell phone. He was clearly not enjoying that conversation. He gets up to leave but stops when he notices the sweater Natalia left behind. He picks it up and sniffs it, thereby causing all viewers to wince, as he relishes the thought of winning Natalia's love and making Amanda suffer for leaving him.

La Malquerida, Parlour: Camila is proud of her mother, but Augustina is upset that Camila is not yet convinced that El Diablo is a good man. “What you see isn't always what it is” is Camila's response. Augustina doesn't want to discuss this anymore; she asks to help with the fiesta.  Camila is thrilled at the prospect and Augustina is pleased that her daughter is moving on with her life after Alonssso and Andres. She wants her to choose Mariano. Camila tells her not to start. While Mariano is a trustworthy man [hombre de fiar], el corazón no se manda. Before they can disagree again Dorotea announces that Comandante Juarez has arrived to see Camila.

Foreign Relations Office: Becerra hands Daniel a file containing his parents' marriage certificate and his father's birth certificate. This should be enough to insure his dual citizenship. As the other lawyer leaves them alone for a few minutes Becerra confides in Daniel that he is interested in Amanda and wants to protect her and Natalia... far away from Aculco. Some pleasant music plays in the background as Daniel is pleased at this prospect. He says that if all goes according to plan El Diablo will be arrested and in no position to harm either of them. Becerra explains that the problem is that Amanda doesn't feel the same way about him. Daniel tells him not to give up or lose faith. The official returns with a document and they conclude their business.

La Malquerida, Courtyard: Comandante Juarez tells Camila that the gun used to kill Julio Martinez may be in the lake on the property. Camila invites him to search if finding it will further justice. Augustina asks rhetorically how they could fail to see what sort of person Leoncerdo is, but Juarez assures them that even with only the charges against him, Leoncerdo will be in prison a long time.  [This has been said too many times for proper assurance.]

School, Exterior: Luzma and Irene come out of class with Irene asking how she is. Luzma tells her she is alright, but wishes that the baby were Pablo's and not Leoncerdo's. Just as they part company Luzma sees Piedad, who just arrived. She explains she found out that Leoncerdo also killed Fidencio, Luzma's father. She explains that he had never abandoned her and that Leonderdo murdered him on what was to have been their wedding day. He was determined that she would never be happy. Luzma asks how there could be so much evil in one man. Piedad replies that she doesn't know, but because she can't revive Fidencio she will make sure that Leoncerdo pays for this for the rest of his life. She will be going to the officials to report this along with Hipolito, who is waiting nearby. He had seen Leoncerdo dispose of the body but didn't report it because Leoncerdo had fled the town. Luzma states she will go with them to get the DNA test so Leoncerdo pays for his crimes.  Piedad tells Luzma she admires her courage.

Prison Yard: Luzma – and Ciudad de Caray – will likely soon get their wish. Some minor-key music plays as we see Leoncerdo in his standard grey uniform, still bandaged. The other prisoners already know his rap sheet and five of them surround him. They tease him about not having a tongue and don't let him leave when he tries to. They say things like:

You're not just a killer, you're a rapist,”
You may not know what happens to rapists here, but you will soon find out.”
And the best part is, you'll try to scream and won't be able to!”
I can't wait for you to try the first time!”

They let him walk away, but they laugh. [They'll have him squealing like a pig and Piedad will have the last laugh.]

La Malquerida, Lake: The forensic team is diving for the firearm under Juarez' supervision. A diver surfaces with the pistol, which Juarez recognizes. We note that all are wearing rubber gloves and the pistol is placed in a plastic evidence bag. [At least they are handling it correctly.] Camila comes by on her horse. The police will examine the pistol and return with it to compare it to Don Daniel's collection and to any others on the property. Camila tells them that no others like it exist among the help, and is sure that this will be the next-to-last nail in the coffin of Leoncerdo's freedom.

Park: Luzma walks down the stairs with Piedad and Hipolito, who carries Piedad's suitcase as he talks about Fidencio. And doing the right thing after all these years.

Police Station: The three enter and tell a suited official that they are there for a DNA test (Luzma) and to give testimony (Hipolito) regarding Leoncerdo Martinez.

El Diablo's Lair: Natalia returns to find Omar with his master. She hands over the deposit slip to El Diablo and he hands her the car keys. He then instructs Omar to escort her to her car and teach her how to drive... within one week. She is to become his assistant and to regard his place as her home palace. Omar is to escort her home after the lesson and they will see her on Monday. When she has her driver's license, she can take possession of the car and drive herself home. She is clearly overwhelmed by all of this. We are not certain how much Omar knows.

Metepec, Real Estate Office: Amanda is looking to sell the hostal but doesn't want that known in Aculco. The realtor is confused by this, as that would make the process faster. Amanda wants to get out of there and doesn't want anyone there to know until she actually leaves.

Viviana's Apartment: The friends drink to Daniel's citizenship and to the reprieve of Duende. Aaron comments that it's a shame neither he nor Daniel can attend that celebration, but Camila promises one when they can both can stop being incognito. This cannot happen soon enough for Camila, who mentions that everything is very tense there with Hissadora and Alonssso. Daniel asks about Francisco Javier, but Camila says although he's a complication he has mostly stayed out of her way. Which he will do, Daniel says, as long as he has money to drink and gamble; however, they are not to trust him. As for Alonssso, they should get him a lawyer and Daniel will cover the cost. Rafael and Viviana think Alonssso should spend a little time in the slammer since he did commit a crime. Camila doesn't disagree and then brings up El Diablo's trip to Chile and his intent to see him. Daniel remembers the night of the Great Escape hearing the guards talk about someone coming to see a prisoner but did not realize that it was possibly himself. They trust that Teresa can find out who got special permission to see a prisoner. Camila prepares to leave to go to sleep early because of the events of the next day. Daniel tells her he'd like her to sleep there with him although he can't engage in more strenuous activity just yet. Viviana discreetly suggests they all retire to their rooms; she and the other guys leave Daniel and Camila alone to love talk, kisses, and a love song on the couch.

Hostal, Kitchen: As Amanda counts the plates El Diablo enters from behind and grabs her. He holds her head in one hand and puts the other at her throat, demanding to know why she left him [???]

Viviana's Apartment, Daniel's Room: He lays on the bed, shirtless as Camila enters from the bathroom wearing his shirt. He comments that the shirt looks better on her, then gets up and gives her the gold medallion of the Virgen. He wants to remember this moment forever. He doesn't have a ring to give her, so he is giving her the medallion as a symbol of his love and the promise he intends to make for the rest of his life. As Don Chente sings, Daniel kneels in front of Camila and proposes.

Avances

Ximeana catches El Diablo and Mama Dragon; Camila is stalked.

Quick and dirty version tonight; I had an exhausting weekend. I have the feeling a lot of stuff will go down in tomorrow's episode.

And with the pending proposal, cue the resurrection of Miriam I bet. Especially with Teresa in Chile asking questions.

I can't figure out Ramon and who he will be.

Thanks for the fast recap!

Cindy

It may be quick and dirty to you, but always fabulous for us! It's going to get really ugly with Ximena/Bruno/Hissadora and Camila. A little scary...

Hey, UA--It may have been quick, but it was oh, so clean and tidy. We all thought this was going to be the night Bruno did his dirty deed, but it will be tomorrow or Wednesday, I guess. Dan & Cam get a reprieve, but it's obvious there's murder involved.

Being the incurable romantic that I am, I'll take the liberty to expand UA's last encounter between Dan & Cam (although Paquita will get to do a repeat of this scene tomorrow)

"He lays on the bed, shirtless as Camila enters from the bathroom wearing his shirt. He comments that the shirt looks better on her...and Cam replies that she likes the way his things fit her (tus cosas me quedan bien) then gets up and undoes the medallion he's been wearing. In that case, I want you to have this. She says, no, not your little medallion. Dan says he's been wearing it ever since he arrived in Mexico (the old curandera gave it to him) and it has brought him luck. Now he wants her to have it and gives her the gold medallion of the Virgen. As he puts it on, he asks her to lift her hair and as he doesn't have a ring to give her, he is giving her the medallion as a symbol of his love and the promise he intends to make for the rest of his life. Dan stands back to look at her. She looks down at the medallion, thinking, is this what I think this is? He wants to remember this moment forever. Dan continues, he wants to remember that she is here because she loves him and is here with him of her own free will. As Don Chente sings, Daniel kneels in front of Camila and proposes with those magic words a girl like Cam wants to hear from a guapo like him--Te Quieres Casar Conmigo?."

Woohoo. When he got down on his knees and asked her, I didn't care that not much else happened in the whole episode.

(Well, ok, Hipolito joins the MQ circus, Leonmudo gets threatened, Mariano will have his heart broken, Yellow Baby Doll gets a car, Suarez finds the gun, Alonesomeo panics--and since mama isn't there to hug him and Xi is mad at him, he needs that hug from Camila [I noticed she kept her arms in front and didn't hug back], the Scooby Doo Team toast with wine and Maja gives us another brief appearance.)

UA - Thanks for your recap and it was quite thorough.

Cindy - ITA I'm waiting for Miriam and the child to show up w/her silly brother hiding out some place (a guess). Either that or bungling Bruno may actually hit/get his target.

Marta - Yes the latest team evil plan could be very scary. Thankfully most of Isa's schemes do not pan out.

Anita - Oh my, once shirtless Dan got down on one knee, I was proud of Cam for staying focused on what he was saying.

Roman has said nothing about parents or any relatives so this will be interesting.

Maja looks so soft and cuddly; I love that breed.

Alonssso has most likely figured out that Hissadora never loved him and is incapable. However, he's too damaged to be able to think clearly about what to do.

I loved the scene with Leoncio being tortured by his prison mates. The cold-hearted bastard finally gets what he deserves for raping Luzma and killing Fidencio and Julian.

I also liked the scene at the end of the episode where Daniel asked Camila to marry him. So beautiful.

Urban- I agree with everyone that this may have been quick, but it was not dirty at all. It was right on target.

Anita- Thank you for expanding on my favourite scene of the night. It was so romantic and Dan looked so hot! Is there any doubt what Cam's answer will be? I'm glad the writers are giving us a few more episodes of happy time for our couple before the crap hits the fan. Looks like Isa and Xi will make sure this is an eventful party. Yikes!

What Dio asked Amanda is why didn't you obey me/listen to me (hacerme caso)? Poor Amanda. I hope Nat doesn't allow herself to be dazzled.

UA - Enjoyed the recap. You covered all the bases.

The proposal was very sweet. Hope Mariano notices this necklace before he tries to give Camila his.

Proposing to Camila is guaranteed to resurrect Miriam.

So is Roman going to be the new Gael?

Where will Natalia keep her new car and how will she explain that to Amanda?

Rocio was not as rude to Roman as I thought she'd be. Maybe that's only because Ana was in the room.

Mariano needs to slow his roll, buying lockets and whatnot for Camila. He will get his face cracked once he realizes she's reconciled with Daniel.

Can't wait for "Andres" to roll back into MQ as DANIEL DIAZ ACOSTA, DUENO OF LA MALQUERIDA and see all the shocked faces, especially that of Agustina.

Oh, and even Ximena's ramerawear covers more of her body than Elisa's ramerawear. SMH.

Cindy--I think Ramon is a sidestory and a distraction. There's only so much intensity we can take without any relief. Besides, Televisa needs a new crop of tweenagers every year. And these kids get a paycheck, so they are happy to get the work.

He did say he doesn't have any parents or familiares. That doesn't mean he doesn't have a backstory. I wonder how many children there are who live by their wits on the streets. At least Ramon found a comfortable place to live, but hey, way out in the country, isolated like that, how did he stay so healthy looking--just saying'.

Oh, UA--I was going to thank you for the screenshot. Everyone has been mentioning Xi's ramera wear, but Hissy is sporting the After 50 ramerawear line.

LOL! Anita, yes, I was thinking the same thing about Hissy's dress last night. Are she and Xi trading clothing now too? But she worked it.

I don't think Ramon will be related to anyone. He's a playmate for Ana, and kids in these tns always end up helping the story along somehow. There are also plenty of good people around to eventually adopt him (Mariano, Cami, Dan, Vivi, Rafa, Aaron, Padre, even Teresa who has dedicated her life to work and not to a relationship or a family).

Typo. That's Roman, not Ramon.

Mariano really jumped the gun with the necklace. This is not going to be pretty. I really hope he finds out the truth before he embarrases himself. He can always give the necklace to Ana.

Or to Teresa. Here's hoping it doesn't have an engraveable surface.

Thanks for the recap, UA, since I only caught the last 10 minutes.

What if Cam disappears? The necklace gets yanked off in the struggle. Everyone knows it's Andres'. He becomes a suspect.

Nanette

Ay yi yi, Nanette--don't bring me down so fast. Please don't add any more legal troubles to Dan right now.

Thanks, Vivi, I knew it was Roman, but my fingers just kept typing Ramon.

Thanks UA, your quick recaps are like everyone else's regular ones, so don't feel like it's not enough.

I certainly melted at the proposal. Sigh!

I can't imagine what Isa is planning for Cam at the party. And she won't have Dan there to look out for her. Maybe Alonso will save the day.

Thanks Anita for the detail of the proposal. That necklace may be Cam's saving grace.

Teresa needs to hurry back home and run into Mariano. Then they can rekindle the flame.

The Evil Bitches' plan is to incriminate Alonssso.

Camila will be a fighter, especially after everything that's happened and with what she now knows.

Anita- I did the same typo too, so it was more of a correction for myself. I actually like the name Roman better than Ramon. It's more interesting.

You ladies are likely right that the necklace will play some role in whatever is about to be done to Camila. What's she going to do with her bulls head necklace now? :)

hey ximena! you're GRRRRRRRREAT! but tony the tiger wants his ramera wear back.

love the actor that plays hipolito. hope we see more of him, but since he's not really in the intro, prolly not. was it fuego en la sangre where he had the long hair?

i wonder if ramon's purpose was to get ana to openly talk about mariano and cam marrying by falling down a well and needing help. that was a hugely awkward moment.

mai tai

UA, thanks a bunch for a terrific recap. It sure sounds like a precursor for some very interesting developments.
One sentence I don’t quite understand, “The friends drink to Daniel's citizenship and to the reprieve of Duende”. (What is “reprieve of Duende”? Is this what the party/celebration is for)?

Another question, was it ever shown what Isadora did with or wanted with the pictures of Don Daniel and Rocio?
Thanks

Foxy--Duende is a real bull that was so "brave" he was pardoned in the ring and sent back for stud duty. Apparently it is an occasion for celebration.

Mai Tai--LOL. They wasted a lot of on-the-set time on it, if you are right. They HAD to have hired a double for Rene's repelling down the silo.

Another question ... I'm a city girl and severly farm and ranch challenged. What on earth was that opening that Roman fell down used for? If it were a well, wouldn't there be water in it? Someone said that it was a silo used for cattle? how?

foxy--I think Hissy looked at them and later put them back (they were in a fake book). I think she is still sniffing around Cayetano's back story.

Thanks Anita, now I remember about Iago and his wonder bull :-).

Foxy- A silo is where grain and hay used to feed cattle is kept.

Foxy--Silo's are usually above ground. Here in US they keep whole grain, like corn in it for feed. It looked like there was hay in the bottom of that one. Hay will mold and has to be used up. Maybe it wasn't being used anymore. Grain can be kept for years in a properly climate controlled silo (and keeping the rats out).

Also, Duende is a bull that defeated the Matador. His reward to to be put out to stud.

That hole is a silo that holds hay that has been harvested and stored there. But I think usually there would be a built in ladder.

About the picture, Isadora hasn't met Rocio yet. When she does, she'll put two and two together and figure out Rocio's secret. And then who knows what devious plan she has for that information.

About Dan acquiring dual citizenship, I think in real life it would take a lot longer than it took Dan to get it. I finally got dual citizenship with Italy. If you are a direct descendant from someone from Italy, Americans can get citizenship there. Not all countries allow dual citizenship, but I do know Mexico allows it too. But it took over a year to get it accomplished. Besides getting all the copies of certificates of everyone and everything, then they all need to be apostile, which is a seal put on by the state. Then it had to go to the consolate to review and then off to Italy. Maybe Mexico doesn't require quite as much redtape, but I think it would take more than a couple of weeks to get it.

Cathyx- Sometimes just starting a process of residency or citizenship is enough to make a person safe legally. But, I would also be fine with some telenovela magic to speed up Dan's dula-citizenship process. :)

That's dual-citizenshop. Although, Dan could also become a dula if he wants.

Thanks so much to all the recappers and those who further explain and expand upon the nightly shows.
I agree with the speculation that Miriam is alive, why else would all evidence of D's arrest be missing? Perhaps Miriam was able to verify D's innocence and then her brother took a leave of absence to take care of her. The question is did the baby survive?

I'm also guessing that the medallion will in some way save Cam since it brought Daniel good luck thus far.

I so love the writers and actors in this novela. Thanks to them for noting that the viewers have some amount of sense. I have not noticed many overt, in your face PSAs here, they're more subtle and properly tied to the story. (I'm thinking of that out-of-nowhere domestic violence PSA in LQNPA).

Yola

Vivi, haha, I actually looked up dula to see if it was a real word and it means a common pasture ground. Did you know that? It was only in my much bigger dictionary. Probably not a common word.

Hi Everybody! I am so happy to have found this blog as I've been a bit obsessed with this TN and my Spanish is not quite up to the task of understanding it all.

Thanks, UA, for a great recap. Nothing quick or dirty about it at all.

Welcome Carolina!!!

Welcome Carolina!! Best site ever.

Cracks me up that the bad guys keep asking each other, "Are you with me or with that other bad guy?" It should be pretty clear by now that no one on Team Evil is with anyone else. Estupidos.

Kelly

Why are they wrapping Leoncio's mouth up? It can't possibly be necessary. What they might do in this type of injury is maybe wire his jaw shut, but I doubt that is even necessary. Any nurses or doctors out there who can comment on what would be done for a person who has had a tongue injury?

anita- i'm glad they did spend some set time! that outdoor space with the seating, candelabras and bulls heads and everything was so gorgeous! and we saw some new angles of MQ, the decorative gate where cam planned the party with Mar, the shady treelined walk that Isa & Cay walked down. even the silo was sort of pretty. Yago on the fence with the bulls running around behind him. (texting "hey babe, booty call tonight?")
it was a visually gorgeous episode!

and cathyx, i don't even play a doctor on tv but i want to talk a about that! i thought my husband would enjoy Leo's scene in prison, so set the scene for him with the explanation that it was just a big obvious reminder to viewerville. they think we're dumb. maybe tongues need heal time, but yeah, wire it! interestingly, it even keeps him from expressing himself with a smile or a frown. all he can do is bug his eyes out.

So how would one translate the bull's name? Boss-like?

and UA, muchas gracias. so appreciative of your efforts!

-mai tai

Late to the party again, and I have not seen the episode.

UA- it was a great recap. Never apologize. You are amazing. I loved the screenshot. Looks like Xi had been wearing her 18 hour girdle for 19 hours. That's the problem with Rameraware.

Anita - Were those violins I heard while reading your expanded version of the proposal?

Please, Camila, say ACEPTO!

Greetings Carolina! We love fresh blood around here, especially if it's snarky!

Rosemary la Otra

A very belated thanks, UA. I was sick yesterday and part of today, so I'm coming even later to the party than RlaO. I just wanted to say thanks to UA for this excellent recap and to all the Caray crew who added such interesting comments.

Terrific recap, UA! You caught stuff that I must have been too tired to catch and I went back and watched the tape again. Thanks! My favorite sidebar remark was "There are neither clocks nor calendars in hell." Visions of Hotel California with that remark!

mai tai- You're thinking dueño.

Duende= spirit; magic; spell; elf; goblin; fairy; magical creature or magical quality.

Thanks Vivi. I also was wondering why they were turning over MQ to the bull.

Testing new picture uno, dos, tres

Yola, (or anyone), your comment "I have not noticed many overt, in your face PSAs here"? What does PSA stand for? I have seen those initials many times before but just now getting the nerve to ask?
thanks,
