FYI - in two weeks (12/24) I'll be traveling. I can have the post show up around the same time but won't be able to see the episode until Christmas or later. Thanks, Karen! This sounds like a fun episode aside from the bruja parts...you have me eagerly awaiting watching it. Isn't it time to leave work yet?

I'm leaving Friday morning and will be traveling for three weeks, so I will be no help with posting and won't be watching or probably commenting, either. Any bets on whether Fer will have FINALLY gotten a divorce by the time I get back?

Wow, what an episode today! So much happening!

Yes, Moncho's declaration was SO sweet, and Adelita's acceptance even sweeter. So cute together.

No kidding the arrogant witch Horny - how horrible. She wants Manny doped up to "sleep off" her illness and not be a bother. Keep her stashed at Fer's but come over to raise holy hell if they don't do exactly as she wishes.

This bit about Lucia being a hot babe at the gym and Willy trying to ignore her is going to be fun. I believe Moncho told Willy that Lucia twisted her ankle and that he was going to have Nacho take care of it. That was the "make Willy jealous" attempt.

I can't believe they've brought up the Horny after Willy story again - ugh, ugh, and bleeech!
 

Julia - enjoy your travels! We'll miss your witty comments and great observations! My money is on Fer still being married when you return but I'm hoping the writers surprise us. Moncho and Adelita are finally together and its not the last episode!
 

I'll be traveling as well, and without Univision for over a month. I do have Hulu+, so I can catch up later.
 

Thanks for the clarification Audrey! And I can't believe we are returning to Horny the Cougar plot either. The bad part is to create more jealousy Willy might actually start flirting w/that witch. Please writers go for something original.
 

Yes, Karen, that very same horrifying thought crossed my mind (i.e. Willy flirting with/using Horny).

I think Horny is destined for Karmaggedon. I look forward to it.
 

Holy short shorts, Batman, I mean Willy. Some of those ladies must have gotten quite a view. I did thoroughly enjoy the gym scenes, as usual. I love Moncho's new-found confidence in his scheming to help Lucia.

How everyone else hasn't run la bruja over a cliff yet is beyond me. She is the worst.
 

That was the funniest "low-impact" workout class I've ever seen. I don't think there's much benefit to the shimmying shoulders or the hip circles, the floor exercises were legit - but without floor mats! LOL!
 

I don't think those ladies go to Willy's class for the exercise.
 

I wish Judy were watching this one so we could get her professional opinion on the gym classes :).
 

Audrey & Julia - your analysis of Willy's classes is hilarious and true. Judy's input would be fun but she would probably tell us what we already know; Willy is eye candy and most of those exercises wouldn't necessarily help us though provide us with a great view of his attributes!
 

I just chuckle through those gym class scenes. It's a good thing all those ladies are already skinny. :)

No. One should never feel bad for Felipe. He is a whiny selfish baby who causes his own problems. I don't even know what happens, but I'm pretty sure about that.
 

Vivi and Julia - thank you for giving me my LOL moment for today regarding F5. You both summed up my feelings about this idiot so well. I must admit I FF through his self-pity act at the bar and tomorrow episode may focus on him as well. Icky! Moreover, we have little hope of a narcissist like him realizing if Cecilio and Zoe had not be trying to please his lying, cheating, selfish behind, they would have gotten together months ago.

After such a good Monday, things kind of slide down hill today. The high point for me was Horny trying to make a play for Willy. Thankfully the writers don't go for the Willy using Horny to make Lucia jealous. I must go into more detail as this was so fun for me and hope you all enjoy it also. He asks her if she has any pride as she tries to slime him. Then Lucia shows up w/Jazmin and Juanita and the former reads her as the hypocritical, lying, evil witch she is. Finally Willy tells her if she were the last woman on earth, he would never want her. It was awesome!

The rest of the episode was a lot of crazy.

A confrontation b/t Mr. C. and F5 with lots of hand-wringing from Zoe. The whole plot puzzling b/c F5 is a cheating cheater who cheats so why should we care?

Fer is bi-polar. In one moment he is rational as he tells Mr. C. he will be the go-between to F5 and for Mr. C. not to feel guilty. We go from this satisfying high to a completely disconcerting and staggering low w/the madness at his house. He actions here should put him under arrest.

First EWM thinks Lu Chong is Fer. Naturally he's scared out of his wits as she won't let go of his arm. Doris calls Fer to let him know about it. Next EWM menacingly stalked baby Aldo and thinks Doris is Isa. Doris calls Fer again totally freaked. He actually goes home and EWM has a total melt down claiming she's Sofia. I know we all know the answer to this but why, particularly after her melt down (screaming, breaking mirrors, hysteria) would ANYONE (let alone a parent) keep this person in HIS/HER home? The insanity continues w/Fer telling Doris not to tell the girls about this (but let EWM remain in the house with them) and he goes to talk to the doc. Doesn't this rise to the level of "we need to re-commit her?" I know, I know - stupid plot device.

Lucia is frustrated by Willy but the casa hogar ladies agree to accompany her to the gym (see above for their "talk" w/Horny). Moncho will help all of them get memberships so they can hang out at the gym.

Barf's car runs out of gas and she threatens Knuckles she'll tell Marisol if he doesn't help her. Meanwhile he's still trying to pop the question to Marisol but thankfully though she is shameless enough to be his novia knowing she doesn't love him, she doesn't want to get married any time soon.

Sor Pilar or Sourpuss wants to close down the casa hogar b/c she's a vindictive witch.

The doc tells Fer EWM is obsessed w/him. While a shock for Fer, his friends have been telling him this for how long? Please writers give him back his brain :(

Preview - the Zoe/Mr. C./F5 mess. I have to tell you all in advance I don't care about F5 so I hope the focus is on the other two.
 

We're all with you Karen -- F5 is worthless & we don't want to watch him wallowing. That whole replay in his head should have proved to him that Cecilio & Zoe have only been long suffering and loyal to him but he won't see it that way.

I'm also with you all on that meltdown by Manny. It was so obvious that she was totally round the bend -- Fer should have called an ambulance & had her locked up for her own & everyone's safety when he wasn't able to raise the doc by phone

But it was all redeemed by the humiliation of Horny at the gym. Unfortunately she is out for revenge now. She is a dangerous enemy and now that we are starting to get the couples straightened out and are heading towards ultimas semanas it's going to be a romp of revenge -- from Horny, from Jorrible, from wacky Manny, maybe even from Felipe -- not to mention the possibility of danger from Mauricio and Jaibo. It's going to be a wild ride.

Güera - great point about Horny going into super revenge mode now and how our resident criminals, rIcky and Jaibo, have been MIA. They and the others you mentioned will probably do damage but when you consider only one couple is together, it can't be that bad.
 

Thanks, Karen! Amen to all your thoughts about Fer. This is criminal negligence. He is putting himself and everyone around him in danger. And if the doc knows that Mani-comio is obsessed with Fer and that Fer does not want to be with her, WHY would the doc think it's a good idea for her to stay in his home? Anywhere would be better than there!

Very satisfying seeing Horny so brutally shot down. Also, I'm glad Lucia heard Willy tell her he would never ever want anything to do with her, instead of just seeing them together and getting the wrong idea.

Speaking of MIA troublemakers, I wonder if Sabrina will reappear for some vengeance against Mani.
 

I was also happy to see Horny get shot down by one and all at the gym. But I agree, she will be dangerous now. Hopefully, she won't succeed with whatever she plans, but it will be something bad enough to land her in jail. She's the only villain so far who hasn't done anything jail worthy.

Ricky, Jaibo and Knuckles all have drug dealing.
Mani has murder and attempted murder.
Jorrible has theft and fraud.

Barf doesn't need jail time, plus it would be too hard on her poor mom. But she does need a major comeuppance.
 

Julia - We were definitely given the impression that Sabrina would come back for vengeance. I hope she does b/c EWM needs living people to reveal her crazy.

Vivi - thanks for your list of things that still need to be resolved. ITA that Horny needs jail time and Barf a good comeuppance.
 

At the doctors, we learn that some how Horny can forbid EWM from being committed again - only in a TN - and EWM has to stay at Fer's house. If I were Fer, there is no way that witch would have me taking care of her daughter at my house. We all know Horny would make Margarita and Jaime put their lives at risk and care for EWM any way.

Unfortunately we had to waste our time with Zoe an F5 arguing but she did read him the riot act. He remains the victim as he packs her clothes.

Horny goes to someone to try to harm the casa hogar ladies. This will probably play into Sor Grumpy's plan to undermine Lucia's project as well.

Fer actually has the good sense to send everyone, except poor Lu Chong, out of the house. Marisol pitches a fit b/c she has to go to the casa hogar w/Barf. Once there Barf continues to be a lying liar who lies and tries to torment Marisol.

Doris goes to Poncho's. Meanwhile, Gabino got the DNA test back and Doris is so busted.

After rescuing her, Barf and Knuckles have villain sex and she takes a peak at his will. She realizes amount of money he will inherit and how his obsession w/Marisol is keeping HER from it. It appears she may try to win him over w/her wiles. Icky!

Mr. C. brings Zoe her things and they talk but of course don't say what they need to say to one another. Sigh.

EWM wakes up and is still as crazy as ever. She starts to harass poor Lu Chong but thankfully Fer arrives to stop her. Unfortunately it appears she is getting more paranoid too.

Fun parts - in the very beginning of the episode, Willy's crew teases him and messes up his hair.

Gabino visits Beba though it is more business than personal; he wants her to tell him where Poncho lives. Nevertheless, we can imagine they had a nice evening together. Oh and Jorrible tries to stop Beba from seeing Gabino AGAIN and she tells him to stuff it AGAIN. Unfortunately the episode ends with Gabino charging Doris.

This was a great episode. Horny is going to cause problems with Casa Hogar while her three granddaughters are staying there because her daughter is loca. This is going to come back and bite her big time! LOL

I have decided that Fer just needs to keep EWM heavily medicated and in bed with a blow-up male doll. She is so loca she would happy as a clam.

Poor Doris, I hope this whole baby thing works out for she and Pablo.

Just poking my nose in here to clarify what Barf was reading. You got it right Karen, she was reading the terms of Knuckles' daddy's will but in order to get the money he has to be married!!!!!

I've been home sick and started watching, although I have seen earlier episodes and do read the weekly recaps and comments.

Wow, that Lucia does clean up great, no?

I'm kinda hoping Doris gets to keep the baby--if there are no relatives to step forward, but she so needs to get sooo busted that it is NOT Fer's baby and she was never pregnant--even though it will break his heart and the Tres Marias. They really love the little guy and Doris is go good with him.

Sorry, but the I can't come to your place because of MadMan-ny and you can't come here because of SilentSarita is just too junior high. They did it in a boat once, and on the office couch, how about meeting in the garage for heaven's sakes--and going to the office, of course.

MadMan-ny was acting too normal today. No wonder everyone is confused. Fer needs to hire a round-the-clock psychiatric nurse for this basket case. Yeah, and keep all the family away from her, including himself. He and LuChong could go hang out with Cecilio for a few days.

RP - great observation about Horny's evilness biting her in the behind regarding the casa hogar. Hopefully it will unravel in a way that the Marias can see their abuela for the witch that she is.

Anita - sorry to hear you've been under the weather. I hope you recover soon. I think Doris will eventually get Aldo but she must come clean about the baby and the Isa/Fer where can we meet is completely junior high.
 

Hooray! Chicho finally got a few minutes alone with Jazmin. He's delightful. I loved when he messed up Willy's hair and then smoothed it. Also when he dropped into Nacho's class and joined in the exercise while having a little private info session. I guess Reina doesn't get a young buck for herself because she's not into exercise!
 

Jueves

Doris gets arrested and goes to jail w/Aldo. Later he is taken away from her. We learn Jaibo is in a coma; hey that's something we would have like to have known earlier. Did I miss it?

Doris makes her declaration and calls Poncho. Fer, Isa, EWM, Lucia, and Poncho all go to chat w/Gabino. Fer is devastated to learn Aldo is not his.

F5 wants to dissolve his partnership w/Mr. C and continues to be a victim. Thankfully this is his only scene.

Fer goes to work w/la loca b/c its an excellent idea to bring a crazy person around more people she can harm. For some reason the office workers don't all quit and continue to charade. Fer allows EWM to be alone w/both Suzie and Isa and once her's our of her presence, she puts on her crazy and really a killer face.

Sor Grumpy complains to the Bishop who shuts her down.

Willy and the casa hogar ladies play games at the gym; the game being him resisting Lucia and them trying to get her back w/him. He pretends to have a new girlfriend named Amanda and sends her flowers at the gym. Anita, now the junior high antics have moved to another couple. Basta!

Julia - yes watching Chicho and Nacho getting excited about their lady loves joining the gym was fun. I hope Reina is matched with someone also. Maybe another one of Willy's co-workers can fit the bill.

RP - ITA that today not much happened though the info on Jaibo was quite a shock. Maybe rIcky is in one too which would mean we just have to deal w/Barf, Knuckles, Jorrible, and Horny. Also if rIcky goes quickly, then poor Lala can just go into mourning.
 

Jaibo has been in a coma ever since the car accident he had when fleeing town. We learned about that shortly after he handed the baby over to Doris and Idrogo paid a visit to the fleabag hotel.

Right, and Idrogo got Jaibo's cellphone from the car accident. That's how he caught reIcky and also how he found the calls to Doris that indicated a link between her and Jaibo.
 

ReIcky ran over Willy and took off and we never heard from him again.
 

Fer taking Manny to work because there is no one to take care of her at home - lame, lame, lame! This storyline just couldn't get more ridiculous. Fer would have to chain her to his desk if he wanted to be sure she didn't cause trouble at the office. Is gullible Isa going to fall for her lies again?
 

Sorry, no Jaibo wrecked his cousin's car. ReIcky took Doris's car and hit Wiily with it on the way outta town.
 

Hi all, I'm still in the game.

For some reason I didn't think Willy had ever gotten OUT of junior high. His antics have always reflected it. When he's serious, he can be exceptionally perceptive, though--I'll give him that much.

Really, Fer--today was take crazy wife to work day? Then to ask Susie to help her finish her cross-word puzzle? Puleeze. It was all done just so Man-y-Comio could go brag to Isa how Fer made love to her the night before and how much he lurrves her.

Isa, you are a FOOL if you fall for that crap. You know Fer wanted to be with you last night. He's not that hard up that he'd have nookie with a crazy bat just cause he couldn't have you.

So, Doris is still lying. She told Gabino that she lost her real baby (NOT) at two months, but didn't tell Fer. Then she met Mayela and the unwanted pregnancy so she faked the rest of the pregnancy arranging to get the baby, not to disappoint Fer. Gabino wasn't buying her story, but probably won't be able to crack the 2-mo. miscarriage line.

I felt sorrier for Poncho right now than Fer about losing Aldo. I wonder if the Duo of Legal Eagles will be able to get Doris off--Gabino thinks she deserves some time behind bars. Oh, I forgot they are mad at each other and F5 wants to dissolve the partnership.

Audrey - I too winced when Isa looked like she was going to believe EWM. She's crazy and before crazy she was a liar so you'd believe her now b/c.... . Another bad plot device though EWM not being in the manicomo is the most ridiculous part EVER.

Though Willy has been immature, I found the flowers bit childish and hurtful. He was a gigolo which was one of the reasons Lucia had trust issues and he knows she loves him. How is having a fake gf going to help prove her love?

Anita - I thought Doris wasn't coming completely clean. Since she's in jail now, what's the point? Is it so hard to say you were obsessed w/Fer, tried to trap him w/the baby, and never got pregnant.

I just view this as more bad filler. Perhaps when we hit the last few weeks, the writing will improve back to the level it was in the beginning.
 

Doris can't face letting Fer know that the original pregnancy was only a lie intended to trick him into being with her. The rest of the story is bad enough but she knows that Fer & the niñas would never forgive her for making the whole thing up. Of course, how much does Manny know? She knew about the fake baby but did she know about the initial fraud?

I too was dismayed when Isa seemed to consider that Fer might actually have gone so far as to have sex with Manny in order to keep her calm. We have enough issues to clear up between now and the end we don't need another breakup of Fer & Isa. They need to stay strong & togethe while they work out all the obstacles.

Will & the fake gf-- too stupid to be be believed. Grow up you two!

Güera - EWM knows the baby was fake and I guess that is why I had hoped she would come clean however horrible the truth is. If fact, Doris wanted to tell earlier but EWM threatened her. I guess we'll have to live through the Lobo family hating Doris until EWM slips up and says something; unless Poncho knows and tells.

But Isa believing EWM, that's just stupidity. Fer is one of the worse galan's ever but if he had relations w/EWM, he would tell Isa as he regrets the foolish marriage.
 

So saddened by what's going on in Connecticut today. There's no words to express it.

Univision naturally and rightly has been following the story here on the East Coast. If they stop the coverage before our silly little show runs out west someone please try to recap it.
 

I expect it was pre-empted on both coasts. What I wonder is whether the episode targeted for Friday will play on Monday.

I wonder, because the episode was available for viewing on Hulu+ today, just as if it had aired yesterday. If they do skip Friday's epi I'll try to so a mini-recap, but I won't know until we see Monday's episode!
 

Audrey thanks for the info about Hulu+. I'm in the East coast time zone and have no idea what happened on the West coast. Julia is in that area but on vaca now.

Unfortunately w/Uni track record they could definitely not show the Friday episode so thanks in advance if they don't.
 

It looked to me like today they had at least half of what was pre-empted on Friday, so I wonder if they kind of squished two of the episodes together cutting half of each. Doris spilling the beans about Manny to Isa and Manny choking Susie to find out where Fer went were all repeated today.

A photographer was taking pictures outside the Lucia's casa hogar, and I think he caught Mauricio and Barf kissing. Now we know Horny hired the photographer. Doris had to suffer a long list of angry visitors, the last of which was shown today (Isa). ReIcky is alive! He was harassed by his landlady for past due rent and he's out of money. And looks like he's going to leave where ever he was.

I'm pretty swamped as we are heading out for a month-long journey tomorrow (in our motorhome).

I'll be off the "grid" for a few days - well, not completely, as I can surf with my iPad, but I won't have access to Univision programming for over a month and will have to keep up via Hulu+, and I won't be able to catch up via Hulu+ for a few days.

So the recaps WILL BE APPRECIATED! Feliz Navidad a todos!
