Amores Verdaderos #51 Mon 1/21/13 Adorable Servants, Messy Dominatrixes and the Obligatory Riding Accident

* At the Balvaneras Lili and Angel are still talking about Cristina: Arriaga wants to make amends with her but at first he has to give her some time to cool down. All right Dad, says the Wise Child (I love this name and it suits her well, but it kind of tempts me to call her WC…), but don’t give her too much time because right now she’s planning to move out of their home.

* Kendho begs to her beloved Furry Casanova: please don’t leave her, she loves him, he’s the love of her life! *Viewerville: please, you’d be more convincing if you didn’t look like you just came from the set of a hardcore BDSM porn movie.* Nelson claims that he’s always honest with her, he never denied that his marriage with Victoria was above everything else. Please don’t call him again, adios. She screams at the closing door: NELSOOOOOON!

* While having a coffee, Betty and Salsero are brainstorming about where she should live now. He offers her his godmother’s house but she refuses it because come on, they’ve just met. She can’t accept his help. Dances with Sunglasses admires her bravery and her strong moral principles. His phone starts to ring and it’s the outraged Barbie doll who wants to tell him that they have serious problems because Nelson blew her off – but Dances blows her off, too. In the meantime the light bulb over Bea’s head lights up: she’ll live with her dad, problem solved. She thanks Salsero for listening to her problems, and our villano flashes a cute smile.

* Leo the Low continues his crusade against his hopefully-soon-to-be-ex-wife, and as usual, he uses their child as a puppet in his creepy war. Now he wants Guillo to find out where Beatriz works.

* Victoria tells Tomasina what Nelson did and she states that she actually prefers to know what her husband is capable of. He has become a stranger to her. A complete stranger.

* As if Kendho’s day wasn’t bad enough… she gets a phone call from Espanto who’s pretty much fed up with her and Salsero’s bullshit, and if they don’t find him a good lawyer right now, he’ll spill the beans about Nikki’s kidnap to Aníbal Balvanera.

* Filler scene: in Nikki’s room Neta Equis Okay is stuffing popcorn into her face and watching a cheesy romantic movie. Victoria joins her and she can hardly believe that Nikki likes these kind of movies. Well, she’s into cinematography. Anyway, Nikki asks Vic if Nelson knows about her country trip… because last night he got very angry when he didn’t find her at home. Don’t worry, honey, Tomasina will tell him.

* We’re back at Meta Imagen where Dances really tries to invite Betty over dinner: he would love to get known of her son and her father, and he’d also like to introduce them his godmother.

*Viewerville: seriously, man, who are you and what did you do to Salsero? The lovely moment is interrupted by Kendra, who at least changed her outfit. Now she looks like a worn out high school beauty queen.

* At the car Victoria accidentally drops her book. Angel picks it up and discovers Adriana’s photo, and asks who that young lady is. That’s her sister. Arriaga flashes his trademark wide smile: LOL, he’s just met that woman in front of the Meta Imagen headquarters! She has a temper, hasn't she. Victoria and Tomasina are impactadas.

* Kendra and Salsero have a nice little venom-filled chat: she admits that Victoria caught her and Nelson doing the deed; he’s amused at her anger and panic, and he taunts her hilariously. Kendho reminds him of the little fact that Espanto can ruin both of them, and then she storms out of the building. Dances goes back to his lovely lady and they start to talk about Guillo. He’s glad that the boy has such a great, loving mom, because unfortunately there are so many children who are neglected by their mothers… *Viewerville: All right, Salsero, we get it, you had a wretched childhood.*

* Jean Marie is in love! Actually, almost everyone’s lovesick at the Balvanera household: Polita developed a massive crush on Guzmán, and everyone thought Nikki would go to a party now that her mother is gone, but instead she locked herself up in her room and she’s watching romantic movies. And now our Romeo confesses to Polita and Tomasina that he fell in love with… wait for it… Estefano Longoria! *Is anyone surprised?*

* In the meantime the sad and frustrated Nikki and Guzmi are thinking about each other. Neta Equis keeps watching the corny movies and Frankie works out like crazy but he can’t get her out of his head.

* Best scene of the episode: Pretty Polita in Pink, who feels very hot that night, sneaks into Guzmán’s bedroom and jumps into his bed because, you know, she’s completamente mad about this fine piece of specimen.

* Pauwhiner and Hilda/Gilda/Whatever talk about the scandal at Meta Imagen. Paula feels responsible for what happened.

* Felipe and Beatriz pick Guillo up at Leo’s flat. Mr. Low is obnoxious as always and he tells Bea that he knows about her job. But don’t worry, he’ll make sure that she gets fired from that job.

* Nikki can’t stop thinking about Guzmi either, no matter how hard she tells herself that she has to forget him. The Husband of the Year shows up at the balcony and asks her about Victoria’s whereabouts. Nikki smells that something stinks in Denmark but she can’t put her finger on it. Nelson claims that’s everything is fine between him and Vicky.

* Frankie spent so much time in the gym trying to forget Nikki that Polita fell asleep in his bed. The surprised bodyguard finds the snoring girl and he starts smiling: oh Polita, what am I going to do with you?

* In the countryside Victoria and Angel have a wonderful day (just like Nikki and Guzmi last week) riding horses through a breathtaking forest.

* Bea tries to explain to Guillo for the umpteenth time that she and Leo will never ever live together again.

* At the Balvaneras, Nikki’s looking for Frankie. Well, he’s still in his room with Polita who finally woke up. The lovely maid confesses to RoboHunk that she came last night because her horoscope said that “las puertas del amor se iba a abrir” (love’s door were going to open). Frankie kindly tells her that there’s nothing more between them but a beautiful friendship, ok? They hug each other and they look simply adorable. All right, says Polita, as he wishes, but anyway, she’s very happy because she spent the whole night in his bed and it was wonderful. OF COURSE Nikki enters the room at this very moment, and when she sees them in each other’s arm and overhears Polita’s last sentence, she breaks down completely.

* Later in her room Polita, who’s over the moon, continues daydreaming about Guzmán but unfortunately she’s interrupted by Ms. Strict Tomasina who wants her to go to the kitchen ASAP.

* While Nikki is crying about Frankie (and his horrible taste in women), Kendra’s working on her next evil masterplan, which involves a huge amount of pills and artificial tears.

* Vicky and Angel arrive at the lake where the two enthusiastic kids decide to explore the whole area… but unfortunately her horse isn’t fond of the idea. Victoria falls off of her horse, and once again, she lies on the ground unconsciously in Arriaga’s arms, who desperately tries to wake her up. Sra. Victoria! Sra. Victoria!

Aribeth, I can't wait for your take on tonight's epi. So much stuff went on, and I have to say my favorite this evening was Polita's little scene with Guzmi, too funny.

Aribeth, your picture was sublime. It captured the friendship and camraderie of two people companionably spending time together in what appears to be paradise. Can't wait for your recap!

Madelaine, your recap of Friday's episode was your best yet. I posted a comment. Beyond sensational. The comments were great - a special shout out to gringo for sharing so much with us.

Diana

Aribeth - Ah, yes, the obligatory riding accident!

I wonder if Arriaga's horse is our Capricio from FELS? The horse moved in the same manner.

Polita with her Valentine hearts nightgown was too funny. She is so precious!

doris, Capricio - yes, what a magnificent animal. I remember thinking you couldn't have matched the horse and rider more perfectly :)

My, EY looked extraordinarily handsome last night. The man wears plaid well. Sigh...

Diana

I thought that Polita was very cute in her nighty and was a little disappointed in a jealous Nikki calling her a meatball with legs.

Carlos

Carlos--I caught that, too. Albondigas con patas. The actress is giving it her all here. She does have a lovely face and some pretty good moves. Too bad Polita's fantasies are one-sided. She needs one of the ranch hands from AB to come over for a glass of Baileys from her hands--he'd be a goner.

I've been lurking until I got caught up, so thank you all recappers for providing the textual imagery.

I'm a sucker for a pretty boy, so I've been putting all my marbles on Guzmancito. He's hopelessly hooked on our spoiled brat. He's been around the block a few times, so too bad he didn't get to meet Adriana first. Could Arrgh's eyes actually turn towards Adri now?

Cris is just making it harder and harder for herself to return to a normal relationship with Arrgh (I mean this in a nice way) by moving out. If this is her way of problem solving, I think the marriage is doomed. Of course, she doesn't think any of this is her fault. For Arriaga that is going to be devastating, if we are to believe what he told Lili yesterday.

Boy---we're moving right along, from the rumble Friday night to happiness by the lake.???

Floridia---I AM WOMAN!! So is DominatriaHO. Did you see her swingin' that whip? LOL
FRiday---Yes, Vicky could have changed the locks but Anibal would have made a duplicate for Nelson.
Stop off for a Baily's to cool down. So funny. LOL again.

Wow!!! what a meltdown with Leo the Low---there's going to be trouble.

Somehow I don't think that DominatrixHo and Bea/Betty are going to be friends.
And after the meltdown last Friday, is there another one comming with Bea and Leo?

I agree---Polita stole the show last night.

Carlos, I was thinking about you last night. What is your Nikki going to do now?

Aribeth---I can't wait.
the gringo

I could not stop laughing during the Polita-Guzman scene. They are absolutely adorable together. I was annoyed with Nicky for getting in the way of that great scene with her crying and accompanying sad music. LOL!

For those who wondered if Odette’s son would have a role to play…well, now we know. He’ll be Jean Marie’s love interest! Will Odette make her son date Jean Marie to pump him for info on the Balvanera-Brizz family?

Oooh, Vivi--interesting to speculate, though I don't think Odette needs any inside spies. She's doing well enough on her own and it doesn't look as though MetaImagen has come up with any new clients in awhile. Now with Ms. Vicky swept up in her domestic troubles, will it be Anyballs or Furminator who picks up the reigns. Either one is a disaster for the company, IMHO.

The recap is up.

Alternative title: the many faces of Kendho and Salsero.

Oh Aribeth, as idyllic and charming as the beautiful scenery JA and Vicky are enjoying. This was wonderful!

Your pictures (Kendho in a snit was my favorite besides the smiling EY) were absolute perfection. "Wise Child" and "a nice little venom-filled chat" were excellent lines.

As you noted, "*Viewerville: All right, Salsero, we get it, you had a wretched childhood.*" But still, I feel this is one of but many factors that will set him on the road to redemption. He's already embarked on the most important -the love of a good woman.

Polita is lovely and loving and the expression on Francisco's face as he hugged her made me realize why I am such a Rulli fan. It shone with pure love and affection. All very real.

Leo is pure scum. I hope DWS, JA and Francisco are all there when he shows up at Bea's workplace to make a scene. What a welcoming committee that would be!

Let's hope Vicky wakes up quickly so she and JA can continue that dreamy ride.

Oh and Aribeth, the title was inspired!

Diana

Aribeth, truly wonderful recap and I always enjoy your screencaps, especially the screaming DominatrixHo lol.

One thing Aribeth. Jean Marie said he is in love with the Odious' one's son, Estafano, not Odious herself lol. They thought that at first, about the Odious one that is.

I too like the nickname for Lili, Wild Child. It does fit her so perfectly.

Nilson is an idiot. I don't think Ms Vikki is going to buy anything he is selling. She should kick him right out of the house and change the locks as someone said yesterday. I think the only reason she isn't doing it is because of Nikki. Even though Nilson can't be bothered about Nikki, poor little thing.

Nikki is another one that jumps to conclusions. Nikki should take a good look at Polita. Nikki might get a clue about being nice to people and if she really wanted to know what was up with this, she could have made her presence known. Or she could ask Guzmi later.

Glad Pauwhiner took the blame for what happened with Cris. It IS her fault for talkin' like Chatty Cathy. But she still hasn't said that Bea is her daughter, so Pauwhiner is still DTM.

Poor Ms Vikki, she can't win for losing. Loved Angel on that horse. He handled the horse so well and that big grin, sigh! So it looks like Angel saves Ms Vikki once again.

Salsero and Bea so wonderful together. I am glad he dissed Kendho. I hope Salsero is redeemed and Bea is really gonna need him, when stupid Leo the Low tries something to get her fired. I too hate what Leo the Low is doing to Guillo. It would be so great if the Angel, Guzmi and Salsero paid ole Leo the Low a little visit. Ole Leo would never forget it.

Polita was the best ever. Loved how she fell asleep and Guzmi just let her sleep in his bed, how cute was that??? I really hope she finds another love, she so deserves it and whatever guy it is would be so lucky to have her!

The nickname Wise Child was invented by NovelaMaven last week.

"One thing Aribeth. Jean Marie said he is in love with the Odious' one's son, Estafano, not Odious herself lol. They thought that at first, about the Odious one that is."

And that's what I wrote in the post: "he fell in love with... wait for it... Estefano Longoria!". :)

Actually, the gaydar is very strong with Estefano too, so I wasn't surprised at the turn of events.

I actually was feeling sorry for Kendra last night. Her outfit really did her no favors (where are the censors when you really need them?) and it looked as though Nikki might have done her hair in a style similar to that she did for Nabila awhile back.

Carlos

Fabulous job Aribeth! Absolutely loved the pictures.

Since Vicky and JA keep trading off on saving each other, it means we should expect him to have an accident sometime soon so that she can save him. I'm not so worried about this horse fall. It just looks like she had the wind knocked out of her a bit. Anyway, more opportunity for them to solidify their bond.

As Vicky and JA rode their horses, I wondered if Cris likes to horseback ride and to just commune with nature. I couldn't picture her doing it-- just being one with nature like that and being quiet. There are actually many things that JA and Vicky share in common and enjoy. For example, I bet Cris was never that excited about JA's dad's anthropological work as Vicky was when he told her about it. I really wish the writers hadn’t added the element of sexual attraction between the two, because I really think this could be a good story of true friendship between a man and a woman. I think they should have waiting to introduce the attraction until they were both free (for other reasons).

Aribeth - Thanks. Love the photo of Salsero and of JA and Vickie riding.

Paula should've told Beatriz to move in with her. Beatriz needs to be in a secure building. That is so more important than folks finding out Paula and Beatriz are mother and daughter.

A romance between Jean-Marie and Odiosa's son should be fun. Hopefully Jean-Marie will wake up to how evil Odiosa is when he sees how she berates her son.

Maybe an up side of Nikki thinking Guzmancito got it on with plus-size Polita is that Nikki will realize having a little meat on her bones may not be such a bad thing after all.

yes, Polita and Guzmi.... so cute/amusing.

The "Meatball on legs" crack *was* wicked -- but also wickedly funny. Since Nikki said it to herself rather than to Polita, I don't think those of us at the Nikki table need to put the paper bags over our heads. Yet.

When these girls feel their self-esteem wounded, they aim right for the fat, don't they? Nabila implies that Nikki looks fat (!!!); KendraHo refers to Victoria as "fat and forty" (double slam, that one).

But now to read the delicious recap!

Oh my, it IS delicious -- soooooo funny! And I love the screenshots you chose. Thank you so much, Aribeth!

Vicki and the Big Angel sure are accident-prone. I think they should be required to wear crash helmets at all times -- or at least when they are together.*

*But not if they are sipping Bailey's together. Because it would ruin the ambiance.

Thanks, Aribeth. The new semester has started , so I often can't stay up for the whole show. Also, it's hard for me to watch the scenes of Leonerdo while my daughter is dealing with divorce and custody proceedings with a miserable person who has made all our lives difficult and stressfilled. I need some positive vibes right now, so I'm trying to focus on Big Angel , but I may have to bail on this novela and rely on reruns of Father Knows Best and Donna Reed to lift my spirits. Kendrho is worth a couple chuckles...red wig...black leather and whip. Maybe the horses will help.

Aribeth - Thank you for the recap and the screen caps. Well done.
Wise Child is a good name for Lili. WC, not so much. LOL. She has enough problems already.

So Paula finally says she feels responsible for Hurricane Cristina. Well, duh, Paula. D'ya think?

Vivi in DC - this telenovela may still take the route of true friendship between JA and Vikki, while teasing us all along the way.. I often wonder if the writers are playing us.

NM - Yes, crash helmets *and* Michelin Man suits.

susanlynn - Definitely stick with the fun, light comedy TV shows if that is what you're needing. Positive, happy, no-brainer stuff is good medicine. (((Hugs)))

"I often wonder if the writers are playing us."

Indeed they are, Doris. I have it on the best authority that the writers' cages,,, er.... I mean OFFICES are littered with bobblehead Doris and NovelaMaven dolls. And you don't even want to know what they are launching off THEIR lanchaNerfazos.
[snort]

Aribeth, Fabulous recap and gorgeous photos! Also beautifully written - especially for one writing in English as a 2nd or 3th language.

Gringo - ROAR! CRACK! BAM! POW!
That woman is on FIRE! BEWARE!

Nikki continues to be insecure and shallow. NIECIE, I think your comment about the weight was very perceptive.

Anita, Glad that you are with us.
You may have missed the segment where Odette made plans to butter up Jean Marie for any information she could use against her arch rival.

Leo's behavior is frightening, and I fear all too real in the case of abused women. Years ago, I knew of a most attractive couple, well educated with good jobs where the husband was an abuser, and she was afraid to leave. He'd promise her the world when he wanted to make up with her.

Leo is a BUM, and I fear that there are many Leos in this world.
Good for Bea in showing strength to keep away. She had better be careful about hitting him again though, because he will let loose with a great fury and believe that he is completely justified.
I will give the actor (Julio Camejo) credit for his realistic performance and making me despise him.

NovelaMaven, I presume that you are a different person from Novelera on Telemundo, but I believe you go there too. Are you the one (among many) who used to rave about William Levy a few years back?

Floridia:

Yes, I do woman the Telemundo page along with Jean. And yes, Novelera and I are two different people (though we have some tastes in common.)

I was on the Triunfo del amor recap team. Did I rave about William Levy? I don't know. Do you count as raving my tagline for the credits after each episodes: "Sweet William Levy in a kayak"? He does make for very nice eye candy, though. :)

Thank you Aribeth--Great job--Great screen shots. Loved everything.

Diana---I know that I shared more personal imformation than I should have last Saturday and Sunday but Fridays episode was very real to me. Anyway, that's water under the bridge now. I will add though that when a meltdown like that happens, it never really 100% goes away. It's to bad but life must go on and so you learn to live with it--make the best of it.

It looks like the writers are writing Christiana out of the picture. I hope that I'm wrong. It's to bad that Christina went so far. I hope that she dosen't loose her mirrage because of it. It will hurt Lily also.

Florida again---ITA Julio Camejo is playing his part perfectly. I would not like to play a bad guy though as they are hated by everyone.
the gringo

Thank you Aribeth! I loved all the pictures you chose. Great scenes.

I especially love the Jean Marie shot. I have a little crush on him.

Both Nikki and I want to know where Guzman slept if Polita was in his bed all night. Did he sleep on the floor or in the chair? I wonder how long it will take him to convince Nikki that he luves her. Gosh, I wish the writers had paired him with someone else. Kendra and Polita would be my two choices!

"I especially love the Jean Marie shot. I have a little crush on him."

hah! I *know* you, Sara. You only want him for his petits fours! (And maybe to borrow his jammies some time.)
:)

Thank you Aribeth! What a wonderful recap and I love your screencaps too! Perfectly chosen!

Oh, I'm totally rooting for our Salsa Dude. They'd better redeem him, dammit! I'm thinking that if he sacrifices big enough (just not to the death, please) and if we find out that he was very "wronged" by Nil-son (whom we all hate anyway) that maybe he can be forgiven and redeemed. But he's going to have to suffer/sacrifice big time to make up for some of the crap he's pulled.

Polita is absolutely adorable! I too wish for her to find her own galán, and I hope he's a cutie not unlike our own Little Gorilla, Guzmancito.

Much love for Guzmancito. I agree with whomever said that you could see the sweetness and love emanating from him in that scene with Polita.

My goodness, Big Ed looked mighty fetching in that plaid last night. Forgive me, I do love Big Ed, but he looks a little gorilla-ish in the suit (not bad, I mean we're talking about Big Ed here) but in plaid he is divine.

Loved how Salsero blew off Kendra in a big way. I think that if Salsero had his druthers, he'd just pretend that nothing ever happened before, nothing with the kidnapping, forget it all, and he'd focus on winning over Bea. Well, sorry Salsa-Dude, I don't think it's going to be that simple for you.

Oh I too look forward to Big Angel, Salsa-Dude and Guzmancito giving Leo the Low the well-deserved beat-down that he's angling to get soon. Especially Salsa-Dude. I want him to be right there, front and center, delivering justice to Leo the Low.

Did anyone notice that the movie dialog (barely heard during the scenes with Nikki and Vicki) had the actors speaking in English? Saying things like "Oh my love" and such (in English) with (pretty obviously) non-native accents. Pretty funny that they had her watching English-language movies.

Airbeth--Loved the recap. You do have a beautiful narrative style and better sentence structure than many journalist' columns I read. I think I do remember your saying English was not your first language. We must raise a tinkly glass of Bailey's to your teachers.

Thank you, Floridia for correcting my gaff. For story purposes, it makes sense for Odiette to think she needs a spy inside. However, if JM and Estefano really do become attracted to each other and start something--Odiette will be quite surprised that her little nefarious plant isn't going to work.

The danger of a Leo in real life is that his response to anger will only escalate and become more illogical. Further contact between him and Bea should be minimized and she should always have one of those men with her.

There was a Leo in real life we came in contact with at our office many years ago. He was so insensed that his girlfriend (and mother of a toddler with him) would dare break up and move out on him that he started harassing her at work. He was banned from the premises and she no longer had to answer phones (that was before caller ID). She got a restraining order on him. Unfortunately that was useless. He got a gun and on a Sunday morning went to her house, forced his way in and killed her. Fortunately the little boy was with his grandmother. We didn't know anything until she didn't show up at work on Monday.

So. BEA--WATCH YOURSELF. Glad DWS is showing so much interest in her. She's going to need him and all the other guardespaldas--if she will only tell more people about being beaten.

Oh Anita, that is such a sad story. Yet we hear things like that too often. I will never understand that frame of mind-- I will make you stay with me, you can't leave me, and if you do, I will beat or kill you. It's so scary.

NovelaMaven,

Yes, that was it,
"Sweet William Levy!"

I used to really adore him, but now there are others I like as well. I like Big Ed, but even better, I like the looks of Fabián Rios and Jorge Luis Pilar. So far though, I think Sweet William wins the prize for his very special technique of kissing, and he has been endowed with lovely full lips to perfect his craft. I like how he works his way into things very gradually and sensually --
he doesn't devour his women with big movements. He savors them very gently and deliciously.

Floridia- You're making me blush. But that is a perfect description of WL's kissing technique. He could teach classes to other tn galans.

Anita,

That is a tragic but all too common story. Many people believe that as soon as a gal issues a restraining order, that it is like the kiss of death. They are afraid to do it. Such guys go beserk and have only one goal in mind.

William Levy...seeing his name mentioned... still love him the best! miss him mucho mucho!!!

Vivi,

Sadly, I am probably a lot older than Sweet William's mother, but in the words of the old song, "I can Dream Can't I?"....."Can't I adore you although we are oceans apart."
OJALA!!!

I never thought of myself as a voyeur, but I guess this is an exception.

Yes, NovelaMaven, you've busted me. I just want Jean Marie for his petit fours and jammies.

I want Big Ed for everything else.

I may incur the wrath of Elvira for this....but I think Arriaga is sexier than Rogelio "Puppy Dog Eyes" Montero. And less damaged.

I'm also harboring a secret hope that DWS pulls an Antolin and redeems himself.

Aribeth, loved what you put about Estafano, lol.

Anita~~~ Meta Imagen is really Anyballs' company. He had the smarts to lure top clients away from Odiodette and this is why she hates him so much, plus they had a little do-si-do and he dumped her and she has never forgiven him. She wants revenge on him and big time, since she couldn't have on him directly, she is aiming now at Ms Vikki who is the creative brains behind Meta Imagen. Nilson just works with the models. He is the one that truly has no brains in this bidness. He tried to get Ms Vikki to stay more at home with Nikki and tried to replace her as Creative Head, but Anyballs put a stop to that. Nilson doesn't have the right stuff to do her job.

Madelaine--Thanks for straightening me out. Serves me right for missing the first month or so of AV. I knew it was Anyballs company, but didn't know that it was he that stole Odette's clients and not the other way around. It makes better sense now.

Susanlynn: Sending a great big hug and words of encouragement. That said, if you decide not to watch, please stop by if only to say hello. Your delightful sense of humor will be sorely missed.

Anita, what a sad story about your co-worker. All too common an occurrence and very heartbreaking.

Women should be supportive and encouraging of each other. It's interesting (and sad) that weight is often used as a weapon, cruelly and heartlessly. Going straight for the underbelly - picking at what is for many of us a sensitive issue happens way too frequently. No matter how intelligent, humorous and loving someone is - if they aren't "picture perfect" they are fair game for ridicule. Ack.

Diana (getting off my soap box)

Thanks for the fantastic comments!

NovelaMaven:

"Vicki and the Big Angel sure are accident-prone. I think they should be required to wear crash helmets at all times -- or at least when they are together.*"

LOL, and I totally agree! :)

There is another bodyguard, not too bad-looking, in the household. I forget his name, but he subs the others sometimes, and he seems very nice, intelligent and level-headed. He could be for Polita. They should definitely give her someone. He's a little "by the book" for her right now, but that could provide some humor.
