Tj~~~~ wonderful recap. So many things going on. Had to laugh at the little tete a tete with Eva and Adri these are two funny people. It was too funny when Eva was twisting poor Adri's wrist. I was waiting for him to yell Uncle anytime, lol.

Glad Renato is showing Rebe up, it is too funny and glad Pluti didnt' beleive he is gay. How in the world she is going to get Pluti to marry her, I'd like to know.

Pluti is just a stalker. Can't beleive he kissed Helena's hand. It looked like she wanted to wipe her hand right then and there with some hand sanitizer, lol. I liked your remark about the boots, shovel and gas mask, lol.

Now they finally know Felix is missing. Hope they investigate to find out what the heck happened to him. Hope Eva gets that CD from Renato and they can figure out what exactly Pluti has done.

Hate, Hate, Hate, Daniel, that little putz has got to go. I am so afraid he is going to hurt Jennifer. I don't like this story line at all.

Like how Claudia is turning the corner. Eugenia and Claudia looked like they were having so much fun. I hope it continues.

So what is Pluti planning with Fairbanks I wonder. More intrigue for sure. Loved your title to by the way, and love the Blue Skirts, they are just so cute.
 

Yes Madelaine I too wonder what PLuty is up to with sleezy Fairbanks. Is Fairbanks our resident ugly American or is he Canadian?

Thanks TJ for a fun recap and for translating that Helena plans to be a friend to PLuty to keep her enemies 'cerca.' I think that's significant.. I like the way she's developing her savvy. We'll see how well she can swim in the shark tank. I just don't want her showing up to work in shiny suits!! Lately she 's been partial to the neon, summer ensembles and I think she should stick with those. It must have been summertime when they filmed these particular episodes.

Oh yeah and before, I sign off TJ, I loved your suggestion that Eva be taken by extraterrestrials to solve the JC/Eva dilemma. Gertie

I didn't like the meeting that Helena had with Pluterco and his henchman Mendoza. Helena better watch herself very carefully. It looks like Pluterco is setting her up to take a fall-- probably a legal fall in reference to FITSA and Playa Majahua. Fraud sounds like a good and familiar charge. She is going to pay for giving him the boot.

Seems like Rebeca has the first and last word in snakeskin print couture with her snakeskin print skirt and snakeskin print bracelet. Last week she had more snakeskin print clothing and snakeskin print earrings. To top off her repitilian predilections, I liked that both Eva and Marcela called her a snake this time around. Eva's snake imitation was so funny as was her mule imitation witih Renato.

It is so good to see Renato finally gaining the upperhand and also knowing that his disc might help prove JC's innocence.

I sure hope JC tells Helena about Eva when he is JC and not Eva. the latter would be just super creepy.

Jarifa, I did want to comment on Rebeca and her snakeskin wardrobe, thanks for bringing it up. I have a snakeskin print dress and I laugh to myself when I wear it.
I can't figure out the alliance between Fairbanks and Pluti, but I'm sure that someone will. We have such sharp viewers. All I know is that the alliance doesn't seem to be a positive one and Fairbanks hasn't gotten over losing his girl to Juan Carlos.
 

Thanks, TJ. I laughed at your comments, "Now what is he [Pluti] up to?" and "face drop alert." I am enjoying Renato and Rebeca, one more fun pair of one aggravating the other- like Eva and Pluti, Rebeca and Pluti, Onesimo and Rebeca, Eva and Rebeca... hell, everybody aggravates Rebeca!
 

Tablet Jefa, I am not referring to Rebeca's snakeskin print choices as a bad thing . . . I share in her fondness for the look and am glad to know you do too! :)

Thank you, TJ. I only caught the ending last night, unfortunately, but the way Helena and Eva were talking, it's obvious that I WAY overestimated Helena yesterday when I said that the reason she had forgiven Juan was because the thesis proved Pluto was a liar. I mean, I know she knows he's a liar - but it appears that she hasn't yet realized the full extent of his deceptions. And, frankly, it's a pretty big thing to wrap one's mind around. But I think I'm going to have a hard time keeping track of who knows what and how much!
 

Oh, and I actually like the animal prints too. But for a while it was just leopard, leopard, leopard. I'm glad she eventually expanded her wardrobe to celebrate the rest of the zoo. :-)
 

OK, here's a thought about Fairbanks.

Maybe he was never really engaged in the first place. Maybe he and Pluti have been working together from the very beginning, and they found this chick to pose as his "fiancee" and trick Juan into blowing that deal for GI.

A long while back Pluto told Onesimo (pretty sure it was Onesimo, but maybe it was Mendoza or Felix, don't think it was Rebeca) that he planned to get ALL of the company's shares. He would get the company into a ton of trouble and then when its value plummeted, he would generously buy up the rest from the remaining shareholders.

I don't remember if he explicitly said what he planned to do after that, but the next logical step would be to sell the shares to someone else. But who would buy those shares if the company seemed like it was worthless? Unless Pluto already had a buyer lined up who knew it wasn't really worthless...

And that buyer would be Fairbanks.
 

Thanks, Julie for remembering all of that. I had forgotten much of it. I like your idea. It would fit in with the JC fraud charges (Pluterco getting rid of him and making a bundle) and with the current FITSA- Playa Majahua problems ( I don't think we know yet the exact nature and scope of that situation--it is still too sketchy) and possibly pinning it all on Helena since it is "her project". Destroy the company, destroy Helena as payback and make anothe nice profit for hiimself.

Guau, Julie, what a nefarious plot development that would be. Could Pluti really have been that foresighted? I think that It was to Mendoza that he outlined his plan to let the company go into the toilet and then buy up all the shares so that he would own the whole thing. i thought at the time that he was going to keep it & run it for himself -- knowing that it was really a sound company. I wonder why he is so obsessed with owning this company. Obsession, thy name is Plutarco.

Thanks, TJ! I had to stop watching when I was afraid Eva was going to spill it all to Helena. I don't think I can take the Big Reveal.

Now that I know it's safe to go back in the water, I'll watch the rest. Can't wait to see Renato maul Rebeca again!
 

Julie, I like your idea bout Fairbanks. He could have been in cahoots with Pluti way before. Pluti acts so entitled with everything, especially G.I. he treats that as if it were his very own precious : )
 

And as Jarifa said, destroy Helena along the way as pay back. If she keeps saying, "this is my project" she will be butting heads with PLuty and Menoza and anyone else PLuty pulls in to do his dirty work. She will not just be in Pluty's way but in harms way. If she is wise enough to partner with Juan And Eva to get evidence of Pluty's fraud she will have enough to win this battle. Which makes me realize, if Juan tells her now that he is Eva, Helena would be understandably angry enough to write *both* Eva and JC off and that would be a catastrophic loss of allies.

Adriano has been too blindly loyal to PLuty to save his own company from what's about to happen. Renato, the ambitious company climber, could be key to the success of either side in my opinion. Gertie

This is my take on the forgiveness issue. Remember how Helena told Eva she wished that Juan would show up at the masquerade party? Well, not only did Pluti humiliate her by proposing marriage (again) in front of "hundreds" of people but Juan shows up as Zorro when she last expects him to and is at the most vulnerable. He appears out of nowhere to make the evening magical, and that's enough for her to get over the "hump" and decide on the spot that she'd rather be with him than with Pluti. I may be wrong but it makes sense. Perhaps.


 

Fairbanks is American, from L.A. *supposedly, but he has a thick accent when he speaks English). The Canadian executive was from Alberta and wanted to do business with Helena until her travel agency got shut down.

On the forgiveness issue, I think we're pretty sure that Helena is somehow, some time going to forgive Juan.....but the circumstances are anyone's guess. There is going to be pain or extreme urgency before she forgives him .. ...Thats my opinion.

. This is a smart woman who at some point is going to get sick and tired of being manipulated. I don't know how she stays as even tempered and professional as she does what with an ex who stole money from her and left her pregnant, a boyfriend who tried to steal her project, a boss who did steal her project and shut down her company, a job interviewer who tried to rape her, a business associate who tried to get her in bed before signing an agreement, a colleague who poisoned her, a dad who tried to kidnap her son...how does this woman still have fight in her??. Gertie
