Caray, Caray!

* Lo refrito: Polita freaks out in the bar, the Angel confesses his neverending love to Zombictoria.

* Lo nuevo: the nurse politely kicks Arriaga out of the hospital room because the patient needs to rest. He leans over Vicky for the last time and whispers that even though his feelings are forbidden, he can’t stop loving her. The crying Angel slowly leaves the room, and whoa, suddenly Ms. Vicky opens her eyes and we hear her inner thoughts: I love you too.


* Lili tries to tell Poli that she never told Frankie about her feelings, but Polita, the little anger bag is so indignant at Lili for “betraying their friendship” that she leaves the club with a big huff. Lili runs after her, Polita, Polita, please, listen to me, Polita, wait for me… but suddenly she bumps into a young boy… Oh God, he’s BoyToyRobRoy! Roy apologizes, but then he doesn’t want to let her go because he’s completely enchanted by her beauty. Seriously, Preciosa (precious), you’re the prettiest woman in the entire club! A woman… Lili likes that word.


* Arriaga is still agonizing at the hospital corridor. Cristina shows up behind him and asks him about Ms. Vicky. She’s better. Then why does he act like that? I feel guilty, says the Angel. He should’ve been with her. Cristina, who feels terrible for seeing him that sad and desperate, tells him it wasn’t his fault, and she tries to convince him to go home and have some rest. No, he isn’t going anywhere. Cris is tired with arguing with him (I don’t recognize you anymore!), so she decides to leave. In the waiting room they meet Guzmán and Adriana, who asks about Liliana’s birthday. Mother Goose gets irritated (as always), and tells her to stay away from Lili. Adri apologizes again. When they are out of the hearing range, José Ángel reproaches Cris for being rude to Adriana, and Cris reproaches him for only caring about Ms. Victoria’s well being.


* In the bar Roy invites Lili for a glass of champagne. At first she doesn’t want to drink because she’s already had a cocktail, but he manages to convince her. She confesses that she’s feeling a little bit down because she loves somebody who isn’t interested in her. Oh come on, says Roy, that guy must be blind or an idiot! However, his surprise couldn’t be bigger when he finds out that this sweet young girl doesn’t have the slightest idea that he’s a huge star. She’s afraid that now he thinks she’s a stupid, boring girl, but on the contrary, he says she’s a gorgeous woman. Liliana is grateful for his words, which are the best present he could ever give her. No, says the BoyToy. He has a better one… and he kisses her.

* In the hospital Vicky remembers back to the gunshot: Tomasina in the car, the masked man, the gun at her waist… and then she thinks about Arriaga’s sweet confession. A little, tired, coy smile shows up on her face.
* Adri and Angel are waiting outside. Aníbal, the Furminator, Neta, Tomasina and Dances join them. Adri is surprised at seeing her sick father there, to which the Don grabs her hand and answers that her worrying is the best medicine he can get. Adriana’s so embarrassed at the situation that she quickly hugs Nikki. The nurse shows up and tells them that Victoria woke up. Everyone is happy and relieved. She says Vicky wants to see her daughter. Nelson is offended a little bit.


* Kendho is standing in front of her mirror, and while she’s enjoying the view, she tells Mia that the Balvanera fortune will be hers… now that Victoria is dead and Adriana is fighting with Aníbal.

* In a beautiful and lovely scene the frightened Nikki tells her Mama how much she loves her. Forgive me, Mom, and don’t leave, please, don’t leave me. Vicky tells her that she adores her, too. But, please, tell her what happened to Tomasina. Did the kidnappers release her? Nikki doesn’t understand what she’s talking about, and when Victoria starts coughing, the doctor sends Neta out of the room.


* In the club Little Orchid enthusiastically talks about her future plans: she’ll study, she’ll do important things, and she wants to be more independent and less childlike. And do you want to have more fun, too, asks the BoyToy. Yes, she wants that, too. Great. The two kids leave the bar together.

* Neta tells Tomasina about the kidnapping. Tomi is shocked: Qué? Kidnapped? Me? Seriously?

* At the Balvaneras’s kitchen Polita cries a river to poor Jean Marie, who just can’t calm her down. And how could you leave Liliana alone in a club? Polita hopes that traitor has the worst birthday ever.


* Actually, Lili is having a quite interesting birthday with Roy: they are making out in his car while he keeps saying that oh, Preciosa, you’re driving me crazy, you’re gorgeous, you’re awesome! Liliana likes his smooth worlds and sweet kisses, but when he starts to unzip her dress, she finally realizes that this was a very bad idea. She jumps out of the car like crazy and runs away, leaving the puzzled superstar alpha male behind.


* We’re back in the hospital, where Tomi fells horrible because Victoria almost died because of her. Vicky says that no, it was her fault, she should’ve called one of the (three dozen) bodyguards who work for the Balvaneras. Anyway, Victoria tells Tomasina, as one Arriaga fangirl to another, that Angel confessed he loved her! They’re over the moon. Tomasina wants Vicky to give herself a chance with José Ángel.


* Kendrat calls Nikki to ask about her beloved mother. (Aka: is she dead already?) When Neta tells her that Victoria survived the operation, she tries her best to hide her annoyance. And what about Roy? He surely was with her all the time. No, he wasn’t because the poor boy had to practice all day. And anyway, he can’t stay up late. *Viewerville: massive eyeroll* But Guzmancito was at her side all day. Kendra warns Okay that she has to be careful with that golddigger Guzmán, especially now that she’s in a vulnerable state. He’s and opportunist, don’t let him fool you! This is the moment when Frankie knocks on the door and enters the room.


* In the meantime Kendra tells her little baby that she hopes stupidity isn’t genetical and she won’t be as idiot as her sister. (LOL!) The doorbell rings. Kendho hopes that Nelson came to visit her, and of course, he must be sad because he’s about to become a widower, but she’ll comfort him… She opens the door, and oh, sh*t. It’s Salsero. Hi Puchis, did you miss me? Dances came to lay down the law: first of all, don’t call him Puchis again, and second, he knows it was Kendra who tried to murder Ms. Victoria. He warns her to back off. Kendra informs him about the baby and tells them to keep his mouth shut… unless he wants Beatriz to find out about his crimes.

* Frankie confesses to Nikki that he couldn’t sleep and he wanted to see her... because he’s worried about her. Neta appreciates his words and at first she flashes a nice smile, but then she remembers back what Kendra told her… So as usual, she breaks the spell and asks Guzmán about his “girlfriend”. Is she rich? Frankie gets angry and he answers that yes, she’s rich, and her father is richer than the Balvaneras! If Nikki ever needs money, just let him know, okay?

* At the Arriagas Lili tells Cristina the tale of her disastrous birthday: her fight with Polita, the cute guy she met, the champagne, the kisses, the car… everything. Kudos to Cris for not freaking out much.

* In the hospital Arriaga asks Tomasina about her newest friend. Doesn’t she find this situation strange? He could be one of the men who attacked Victoria! Tomasina says that Bonaparte is a decent guy, he surely doesn’t have anything to do with the murder attempt. José Ángel is still ridden with guilt and he swears that from now he won’t leave Victoria’s side for a second. He’ll always be with her. *Viewerville: yes, because that’s exactly what your family and your marriage need*

 * Liliana confesses to her mother that she’s sick and tired with being a little girl. She just wanted to feel like a woman. Cris says that Lili doesn’t need to rush into a stranger’s arms: she should wait for the right man who marries her, and please, don’t make love when you aren’t in love. Especially not with a stranger who could give you an STD. Cristina’s face lights up when she remembers back her first time with José Ángel… the love of her life.


* Finally, it’s morning. Everyone and their mother is in the hospital, waiting for the news. The doctor joins the Balvaneras and informs them that Victoria is getting better and she’s allowed to see her family. Everyone is happy and they head to the hospital room… except for Furminator who tells Arriaga that he isn’t part of the family, he’s just an employee, therefore he can’t visit Victoria, period. He’s such a nice fellow, isn’t he. The Angel stays silent but he looks very angry. Guzmán tries to cheer him up, take it easy, brother, tranquilo, tranquilo… But Arriaga confesses that he’s fed up with Nelson antics, and the next time he insults him he’ll break his nose.
