Corazon Indomable, #27, Tuesday, 06-19-2013 An impactante meeting leaves our galan in his usual state of clueless disbelief

Yesterday MC learned how to walk in 5 inch heels (already she is a better lady than me) and made Viewerville realize that not all people use cutlery the same way; Tobias found out the big secret, but he would not be a tn character if he decided to tell the truth immediately; Octavio, the Oblivious One, kept wasting the air he breathed; and Viewerville came to the terrifying realization that Solita is pregnant, too.

Today we start off with …a bit of yesterday’s last scene, actually: MC chatting with Justa, telling her how different she sees life now, thanks to Don Alejandro’s help, how ignorant she used to be and how much hurt she had to go through. Justa encourages her to stay positive, think about her baby, try to find the father, but MC doesn’t care about him anymore, he betrayed her and left her alone the wolves who only wanted to hurt her. Now all she wants to do is work, find a way to repay Don Ale for all the good he’s done to her.
Then the talk goes to Solita and how much she’s eating and Justa mentions that maybe Solita, too, is pregnant….

Alejandro is revising the latest balance sheet from the casino and tells Tobias that he doesn’t understand how come the gains are becoming increasingly smaller. According to Carola, this is because of the thief that is scaring away the clients.
But Ale’s biggest worry right now is MC, so he’ll take her to the theater tonight, to see a musical (oh, boy, will she put her shoes on the balcony banister like Maria la del Barrio did once upon a time when she went to the Opera?).
Alejandro sometimes wonders whether he did the right thing trying to change MC so much in such a short period of time (the screen slides to MC happily learning stuff), but she is making such a great progress and so fast (like all tn protagonistas are required to, duh!). Ale also plans to take care of Solita later on (thank God for that, did he hear us?).
Left alone, Tobias is wondering if he’s doing the right thing by keeping MC’s paternity a secret….Take your time, Tobias, no pressure…

Back in the girls’ room, MC rejects the idea that Solita might not be a virgin, anymore; she is only eating so much because they never had that much food before. Thanks God for Don Ale and his help, he has been so good to them.
Yeah, but he has his sins, too, Justa explains, including a daughter somewhere in the world, that he knows nothing about, but he’s desperate to find. Does MC get a glimpse of doubt from this? No, she just thinks this is why Ale is being so kind to them.
Justa talks about all the orphans in the world and how the women carry the biggest fault in this (okey…), because no woman should ever get pregnant by a man if she is not married to him. MC explains that she IS married, at least that is what she thinks, but if that was a lie, too, then the infamy is even bigger.

At night time, MC is putting on some make up, but she keeps it light, because she is not used to it (by light she means the TV kind, because her eye liner can be spotted from across the room). She is wearing a black bath robe for now and Solita is on the bed, looking on with a smile on her face (I’m so happy when I see Solita smile, she deserves it).

Don Ale is downstairs, waiting impatiently. Justa, maid by day, make-up artist by night, comes down to let him know MC is almost ready.
And there she is, wearing a red, long dress, with her hair all curled up (in a not savage way), looking forward to their night out. He is impressed by her progress, MC hopes she won’t embarrass him. Her pregnancy is not showing too much, so she shouldn’t worry about this, Ale reassures her.

And what do you know, Oblivio and Ed are at the theater, too (and it has to be the only theater in Mexico City, right?). Oblivio doesn’t feel like having fun, but Ed insists and off they go.
MC enters the theatre, reading some brochure. Oblivio sees her, but he has this confuzzled expression on his face that every respectable galan has to get at least every other episode. MC sees him, too, and she obviously knows who he is, but her face changes from one of surprise to one of fake ignorance. And we get a split screen of both our protas, accompanied by some intense background music.
Don Ale appears just as Oblivio is about to get closer, takes MC by the hand and they leave together, while our galan looks on, with his usual idiotic face…How can he have doubts that this is his wife?
Ed approaches him, wants to know what happened. Obliviosisimo (Oblivio doesn’t seem quite enough anymore) tells his friend he just saw a beautiful woman and wants to get closer to her. But Ed stops him, because she is obviously not alone. Obliviosisimo can’t let it go, though, he touches MC’s hand (she’s been watching the two men and knows he’s coming). After the touch, she snaps, asks him what does he want with her, does he think she’s someone else or maybe he’d lost someone like her (“se te perdio una como yo”).

On the boat Quasimodo and Carlota talk about the fact that they have few clients; she is worried that because of the thief they might go bankrupt, asks Teo to remain on land, look out for the ladron. He doesn’t seem to mind or be too scared, whoever helps him get rid of the life he’s leading, he’ll be grateful.

Back at the theatre, Ed manages to take Obliviosisimo away, while Ale asks MC what is wrong. She doesn’t tell him anything, but she is clearly very shaken up.
In the meantime Ed tries to calm his friend; when asked, he doesn’t believe the woman they’d just seen looks like MC at all, because she is so elegant and refined. He thinks Obli is obsessed, that’s why he sees her everywhere…So I guess the Clark Kent syndrome is working really well on Ed…and MC didn’t even need to wear glasses or a cape, just a pretty dress that uses more material that all the dresses MC had before combined.

After she takes her seat next to Don Ale, MC reminds herself how Octavio was the only man she’d ever loved and how much she hates him now; also, she doesn’t understand why she had to see him again.
Oblivio takes his seat, too, searching for MC all over the place, until he spots her at the balcony.
In the meantime, Don Ale start to tell MC about the importance of theatre as a cultural vehicle and a way of relaxing (or something - she’s not listening to him, so why should I?). He asks her if she’s ever been to the theatre…Yeah, right…Never!
MC looks on, sees Oblivio again, can’t help but whisper “Desgraciado” and then covers for it in front of Don Ale by talking about the beauty of the theatre.
Oblivio keeps insisting that she looks just like MC, Ed still doesn’t see any resemblance. But, what do you know, Oblivio has seen rage in her eyes, while watching him, from a balcony, at a significant distance (how perceptive of him, all of a sudden). Ed asks him to stop with his obsession, and I realize that if he had smarter friends maybe Octavio wouldn’t be such a clueless shmuck all the time.

The show starts and it’s the Swan Lake ballet; the music seems very appropriate for MC’s thoughts: she’s sure he’s thinking of the great resemblance between the MC he knows and the woman he sees now and she really wishes she could get back at him for everything that he’s done to her.
And all through the show Oblivio keeps looking at her, while I bet MC is barely able to keep a straight face, pretending to watch the ballet.

Back at the house, Don Ale doesn’t think MC enjoyed the night out too much because he didn’t see her smile once. MC blames her dark thoughts, apologizes and goes to bed.

The next morning, MC calls Serafina, tells her how much she’s learning and how many teachers she has, she even talks differently now. Unfortunately, she can’t come to visit, but wants to know if the pilot is still living there. Serafina confirms it and tells MC that he kept asking about her, at one time even saying that she was his wife.
MC doesn’t deny this, but adds that now she hates him because he’s hurt her so much, no matter how gentlemanly he behaves with Serafina.
Enter Octavio, who guesses MC is on the phone and demands to speak to her.
MC hears his voice and asks Serafina if Octavio is certain the woman he saw at the pension is his MC, but Serafina tells her that no, he’s not 100% sure. So MC refuses to talk to him, asks Serafina to tell him she is not who he’s looking for and hangs up.
Somehow Octavio realizes that the woman on the phone refused to speak to him, he pleads with Serafina to tell him where MC is hiding, but the older woman keeps saying that MC just hung up to fast for her to do anything.

Aracely and Teo talk about his new guarding duties, she is very worried for what might happen to him, because she cares about him a lot. Teo tries to reassure her that he’ll be fine, he’s so ugly the thief will get scared of him.

And we are back with the Narvaez, at the ranch. Lucia is lounging by the pool (what else?), as Miguel comes in, very happy because he’s made a deal with someone, he has a new financial partner. Joy all around, they’ll have money to pay up Octavio’s part of the ranch, money for the baby and money for Lucia to buy whatever she likes from the capital (she might need some new outfits, the poor woman).
MC is having one of her lessons, but what she’s thinking about is Octavio and how much she hates him (we get it, already!) and how one day she will have her revenge.

On the boat, Carola is telling Raiza how things have changed since Teo is keeping guard, there have only been one or two attacks. He is very loyal, that is why she wants him close. But Raiza still thinks he is ugly (such an important factor when you hire people).
Then she suggests that Carola should start changing the balance sheets, to make it seem like they are winning less, and maybe one day she’ll be able to buy Alejandro off. But Carola doesn’t dare to do this, yet, because Alejandro could come and verify if things are really that bad; he is a very good administrator, he’d realize something is wrong. But Raiza thinks this is their best chance to end up with everything, since becoming Alejandro’s wife doesn’t seem all that possible anymore.  So Carola is left wondering…

Teo is counting money, making plans about how rich and powerful he’ll be one day, able to buy everything, including people’s conscience (hmm….). He gets interrupted by What’s his name, (the younger guy we’ve seen before) who sees the money. It’s his money, Teo explains, he’s been working for a very long time and he also has Aracely’s money.

Alejandro talks with Tobias about his illness and how depressed he feels. He doesn’t need the doctor, he’d tell him what he always says. His problem is that ever since MC came to the house, all he does is think about his own daughter and what she might be going through.
MC comes in to join them, interrupting the bad moment.
She wants to start working, too, do something other than learn. She feels very bad because of how much Alejandro is spending with her and her sister. But he is just happy that the girls are content, Don Ale explains and then he starts to tell MC about the daughter he once had and how MC reminds him of her.
He’s spent so many years waiting for that daughter, but perhaps he’ll never see her. This impresses MC very much, she starts to cry, so Alejandro stops his story and tells her that until his daughter shows up, he wants to feel like she is her.
And when will she show up? MC asks. But Tobias reassures her that might not happen and Don Ale is even thinking she might be dead.

At the ranch, Miguel receives a letter from Octavio, where he writes about the two women he saw that looked like MC. He also mentions how he didn’t believe Lucia when she told him that MC is still in the village and so, he wants to know the truth from Miguel. Also, he wants MC to write him, so that he’s sure Lucia didn’t lie when she said his wife is still with them.
Lucia thinks the women Octavio saw could be MC, even the elegant one, if she gathered money by becoming a prostitute (Oh, Lord!). Miguel doesn’t agree with this, but he’s more worried about what he’ll write back to his brother. Lucia has the solution for this, too, Miguel just needs to write that MC is still with them and she’ll find some girl around the ranch to write a few words for Octavio, it’s not like he knows MC’s handwriting.

Carola and Teo talk about the clients still being scared because of the thief. Carola suggests that maybe Teo could mention this to Don Alejandro when he speaks with him again, but Teo doesn’t think his opinion would matter that much. But Carlota insists this will be good for business, she pressures Teo into accepting her request.

MC is thinking about the daughter Don Alejandro had and about the dad that abandoned her. She hates her dad just as much as she hates Octavio.
Later on, MC and Solita are preparing an apple strudel for Don Ale.

The two pilot pals are back on the island, all set up to have some fun.
Raiza asks Aracely how come she’s not afraid of Teo. Well, because she doesn’t see the ugliness of his face, just his soul. Besides, she doesn’t care if Teo keeps all the men away from her, she’s not interested in getting married.
Enter Ed and Octavio, Ed with a big smile on his face tells Aracely he hasn’t stopped thinking about her. Raiza is left alone with Octavio, who doesn’t seem too interested, but escorts her to the dinning room, anyway. Aracely wants o leave, but Ed tells her he is falling in love with her! Oh…how interesting (No, it’s not!)

MC gives Alejandro the strudel, he asks for some tea. Again, he is impressed by how fast she learns and he is so proud of her.
Later on, he receives another negative balance of the casino gains and Tobias suggests that maybe he is being robbed. Alejandro doesn’t think Carola would do this but decides to go to the island if things don’t change by next month (and if he’s still alive, I might add).
MC comes back whit the food and the tea and forces Alejandro to have a bite. He likes the strudel, Mc says she prepared it with a lot of love, because she sees him just like a father. Not the one who abandoned her, but the one she would have wished to have had

In the meantime, Solita faints in the kitchen…

Thanks, Adriana....I got a big kick out of OBlivio's face appearing on his letter to Miguel. Ha...special effects

Thanks Adriana. Your commentary had me laughing throughout your recap. I particularly liked your explanation of why poor Oblivio has such poor people skills (his equally clueless friends).

Oblivio remains painfully out of it, not a surprise, Lucia continues to be a lying lair who lies, and MC is being set up to hate both Oblivio and Don A.

Tks so much Adriana Noel

Ed & Oblvio are just the type to go to see Swan Lake, they are pilots after all & would be out chasing girls, at least Ed would.

Solita faints, well that confirms it, pregnant!

If MC was so smart, wouldn't she associate the name in the box with Ale, it's the same name !por Dios!.

None of these people can put 1 together & come up with the right answer.

MC really looked beautiful in the red dress.

Great work Adriana, I loved all your snarky coments, couldn''t keep from laughing.

And finally our cupcake from LQPNA is BACK. Clark Kent syndrome indeed.
- MC didn’t even need to wear glasses or a cape, just a pretty dress that uses more material that all the dresses MC had before combined. - loved it, soo true.
Still Oblivio is quite clueless, how can he even question it is MC just in a better dress? AB looks good in a potato sack - I wish I had that kind of looks - but get those 2 brain cells working man!

Lucia is still a spawn of satan, I bet she makes Awwfelia write a letter in the name of MC or is Awfelia is more educated that her handwriting could be convincingly bad enough for that? She thinks herself wayyyyy better than MC thats for sure.

Adriana:

Thanks for this marvelous recap. I am so enjoying MC learning everything and the transformation. I too really liked that dress and had to laugh when Ed told Tav to stop obsessing. If Tav would only go with his gut.

So now Raiza wants to fleece Alejandro? He should be checking out the casino. See what is going on there. I wonder if Raiza has been skimming this whole time with Carola's help, maybe?

Karen and Iriz79:

I so agree with you both about Luciafer. How much lower can she go? I am just hoping one of these days Tav shows up unexpectedly and I want to hear the lie she is gonna tell him then, about MC. Oh, and I wonder who this new partner of Miguel's is supposed to be, hmmmm...... cause no one wanted to lend him money or buy his cattle. Food for thought.

They may be dumb macho pilots but at least they are cultured. Points for them for trying to expand their pea brains with the arts, but at the rate they're going they'll need season tickets.

Kelly

I'm not saying that I would be stupid enough to fall for the Clark Kent syndrome, but I was watching one of those practical joke shows once. Sherman Hemsley (George Jefferson) was checking in at a hotel and Wayne Brady was behind the counter. Sherman knew Wayne Brady personally, but no matter how much Sherman argued, Wayne would not admit to being himself. Sherman finally started to doubt himself until the end of the joke and Wayne admitted who he was. I think that it would mess with your brain if the person were not where you expected them to be.

I've seen this plot line of not recognizing someone in Duelo de Pasiones. The galan did not recognize his onetruelove because she was in a different place wearing different clothes. QUE ? However, I have waved wildly to someone only to realize that the person is a stranger not the person I thought he/she was. That experience, however, lasted only a few seconds. Oblivious is definitely a dim bulb.......cute..but...dim. Hmmm...I feel that Mari may somehow end of with the guy who is investing in the rancho....thus getting control of the rancho and her enemies....just a guess.

Adriana- Great recap. I haven't had a chance to watch yet, but I am looking forward to the red dress and a confused Octavio. Poor guy. How funny that Ed just thinks he's obsessed and seeing MC everywhere. I wish MC had told Ale who Octavio was, even if it was after they left the theater and were at home.

Oh, and I'm glad to hear there are plans to get Solita educated. Yay! Still disturbed by the pregnancy storyline though.

@Adriana - excellent recap. I had previously watched this episode online, but I did rewatch it on Univision last night and Univision did not do the split screen of MC2.0 and Oblivio. In fact, Univision edited out almost all of the "caras de impactado" we saw on these two because they did not cut to commercials at that point like Televisa did.

In the scene where Don Ale discusses with Teo how much progress MC has made we also see flashes of her doing two things - working on an algebra problem, no less, on a blackboard, and reviewing a spreadsheet on a computer screen. Turns out our girl is a math wiz, which should come in handy.

Wonderful recap Adriana. Just what I needed. I'm sorry, but I have a very hard time staying focused when the two bruja's are talking about casino business. Yawn. I know it will be important later, but for right now just don't care.

I had thought Rod the Bod in Refugio was one of the dimmer lightbulb galans at the start of that TN in recent memory, but Tav is slowly passing him by for the lead. My first thought was, just say her name as you walk up, see what reaction you get?

I guess it's the Power of Persuasion - everyone seems to be able to talk someone into believing something even when they either know better or see something clearly with their own eyes. Yep, this is a definite park the beanie show.

Lord, I hope there is some way to go pass Solita's pregnancy ( which I HATE) and uncover the truth how it happened. But I have a feeling that will be a slower reveal waiting for her to be able to better communicate. We now have three pregnancies, so there has to be some major mix-up, problem, something that will surface down the road. Man, I hate those plot lines when children are involved.

Ale seems to be weakening and walking more labored. I so don't want to lose him as a character!!

We are definitely in for the dreaded baby swap cliche, !Dios mio! not sure I can take that idiocy, especially if Luciafer gets her hands on any baby.

I'm back to thinking Miguel isn't so bad, except the time he spoke so harshly about MC with her standing there. He is just more of a dummkopf than Oblivio, as hard to believe as that is.

Very smart recap. Thanks a lot
I have 2 question
1. What is Clark Kent syndrome?
2. Why are you all thinking about kids mix-up? Lucia lives in rancho, girls live in capital. I dont think that girls will meet with Lucia soon. May be one day, but now I dont know how it will be useful to the plot. May be I'm wrong.
Alegria

Lucia's baby is older than MC's and Solita's, plus she doesn't live anywhere near them, so I can't see how there can be a baby swap storyline.

I do doubt the healthy birth of all three babies, so I'm officially putting one of them on the death list. If Luciafer's baby dies, she will just become more bitter and evil and probably somehow blame it on MC. If MC's baby dies, it will harden her more and make her convinced of getting revenge. If Solita's baby dies, Viewerville will rejoice (don't mean to be so callous), and Solita will probably sink into greater depression. All bad options, so I vote for option #3, because I don't want Solita to have to raise Satan's spawn, when she has so much other crap to deal with.

Thanks Adriana Noel, I loved Obliviosisimo. Is truly oblivious to not recognize the woman he's married to and had many romps in the hay with. Goodness. And he believes his friend who has only seen MC briefly once. ok.

That's all Solita needs. Not only is she pregnant, but her breasts will get even bigger. Ouch.

Am I the only one thinking that Raisa is the one stealing the money? The will or course make it seem like Teo is doing it by him counting his money, and he'll probably go to jail for it.

Alegria, Kent Clark syndrome is from the Superman show and movies. Kent Clark was a reporter by day, wearing nerdy glasses, and became Superman when he was needed to save somebody. His only disguise was the nerdy glasses, yet no one recognized him, even though he looked exactly the same.

Great job Adriana Noel, very well done. I especially liked:

"Tobias is wondering if he’s doing the right thing by keeping MC’s paternity a secret….Take your time, Tobias, no pressure…"

Actually I'm inclined to think the longer he delays reveling what he knows... the better for us.

Vivi, I'm shocked... you're predicting a death... and an infant's at that. Yikes!

I'm inclined to think that since there are 3 babies on the way (3 is a magical number in TNs) that they will all survive and though this TN is rife with cliches, I see no baby swap on the horizon. Place your bets and ready the BINGO cards.

Carlos

I don't know if there is going to be a baby swap, but I do agree that something bad will happen to one of the babies, not necessarily death, but maybe some disease...
Let me think...MC's baby and Lucia's baby would be cousins, maybe one could help the other with a health related issue...I have no idea!

To make MC's transformation and Oblivio not recognizing her beyond any doubt more believable, I think they should have changed her some more. A different hair cut, hair color, maybe if the MC he used to know didn't have perfect teeth and skin...

Adriana Noel---Thank you so much. This was certainly not a funny episode but your snarky comments had me laughing all the way through the recap. It was great. What a hoot and to make something funny that wasn't originally funny is sure genious.

Just a pretty dress that uses more material than all the dresses MC had before combined. LOL

Lucia is lounging by the pool [what else?] Another laugh.

WOW!!! Maricruz/Ana Brenda is as pretty in red as she is in white. Green, OMG! Actually, I think that she could wear any color beautifully. She could even make dull grey shine.

Oblivio just couldn't believe that the beautiful goddess in the red evening gown was the same country wild flower that he left behind. His half brain cell was on overload
last night. A near meltdown.

Two piolts with class, the ballet?
Who would have guessed?

Latina in MD.---MC a math wiz? Yes and my guess is that she will end up owning the rancho and when she does, I will be cheering the loudest of all.

School for Solita before the baby or after the baby?
the gringo

Adriana Noel, I thought that Solita is a foundling that was taken in and not actually related to Maricruz.

Carlos

Yes, Carlos, Solita is not blood related to MC, I was talking about Lucia's and MC's babies being cousins.

Enjoyed the recap Adriana and continue to be amazed by your fluency in English. So many native speakers could not write as well. And you're confident enough to make up your own words!...loved "confuzzled". YES! that describes Octavio perfectly.

I can believe some doubt seeing Maricruz where she "didn't belong" and all dolled up. But when Octavio heard her voice (regardless of a change in grammatical patterns and accent) he should have known immediately.

If I see a former student after some years and she has a different hair color or weight change, I'm hesitant UNTIL I hear her voice. Then I know exactly who she is. Voices don't change like appearances do.

But another "can't believe" moment was that these two hot young guys would go to a performance of Swan Lake. One of the most boring ballets ever IMO and even if Eduardo raved about one of the ballerinas, can't see them sitting through a whole performance. Better just wait around the dressing room door with some roses and an invite out.

Oh well, put on the beanie and enjoy Maricruz gettin' some larnin'.

Variopinta---I'm with you, keep Evil Eyes Lucifer away from the babies.

cathyx---They will pin it on Teo, the weakest one.
the gringo

Carlos- I think you're rubbing off on me. Thank goodness you are more optimistic than I am about the chances of all three babies surviving. :) But I agree, a swap is unlikely.

Who knows, though? Solita could turn out to be related to any of them knowing novelas as we do.

Good work, Adriana.

We finally see dresses that don't have those absurd sleeves that don't fit with short dresses. Oy. I was also hoping that Maricruz' hair would be different enough, but that might be too big a change for her.

Don Alejandro definitely needs a new eye doctor.

Tobias better not delay too long in telling him that Maricruz is his lost daughter. He deserves to know.

I actually think Oblivio didn't do too bad in this episode. He recognized MC and didn't give up even with Playboy Ed telling him to give it up. Also, MC does look quite a bit different, but still her of course. Her hair went from light/medium brown to black (and very shiny and healthy), she is wearing a ton of makeup and is holding herself much different. I can see one Ob being confused.

Thanks, Adriana an excellent recap. MC looks lovely in all the bright jewel tones she's wearing now. I'm surprised Don Ale didn't hire a professional makeup artist to teach MC. Maybe the stair coach covered that.

Oblivisissimo--perfect, he's even more dense than before. I don't know why the two guys were dressed down for the ballet, Eduardo especially. They wear tuxedos to the casino, but jeans, jackets, and no tie to the ballet? Maybe their hotness buys them a pass.

Speaking of menswear, love to see Don Ale rock the smoking jacket around the house. Maybe Monito should have a tiny smoking jacket?

I won't worry about the babies until they're born. I WILL worry about Don Ale leaving this life before he finds out MC is his hija.

Adriana Noel, Thanks, I reread your comment... I wasn't paying close attention the first time around... duh.

I'm betting that Lucia won't be fooled by the new and improved version of Maricruz... she hasn't even encountered her yet and yet has an idea of what's up.

If Solita's pregnancy is confirmed tonight will it occur to Maricruz what has happened and who is responsible?

Carlos

Solita was taken in as a foundling, I think she is Aracely's sister.

How can there be a baby swap when they live in different places,?? Mrs. Mejia magic, that's how. Maybe MC will go back to the pueblo, when (if) she realizes scuzz is the father of Solita's baby to get him arrested.

Swan Lake was a little off the wall for 2 pilots w/o dates that talked them into it. Oblivio is a total aguafiestas. Eduardo needs a new amigo.

Thank you all for your words, I'm glad you've enjoyed the recap!
The tn is getting better, but still, making fun of it comes naturally, because there are to many times when you just have to throw logic away and embrace the crazy.

JudyB, thank you for you appreciation, but I didn't make up the word "confuzzled", I saw it somewhere one time and I just remembered it when I was trying to find the best way to describe Oblivio. Sometimes words are really not enough...

I couldn't find a good enough word for the Narváez hermanos.
confuzzle is perfect. It is in the Urban Dict.

Well great...we've all learned a new hip word then...."confuzzled". All the better!

Now I want apple strudel.

cathyx, thanks. I forgot about superman.
I think it's too difficult to believe, that someone can change so much. It's easier to think, that someone can simply look like twins.
Alegria

1. Yes, it is NUTS that Octavio doesn't recognize Maricruz. Across a crowded room is one thing, but actually talking to her face-to-face!?!
2. Yes, now that Maricruz can read, after hearing Don Ale's story don't you think she'd at least CHECK the papers in the box?!!?
