PEAM #89- 7/11/13- I Can't Take It Anymore So I'm Off To Cancun (It must be nice!!)
We begin with a furious Alma banging on Paty the back
stabber’s door, Rogelio calls and she tells him to go to hell!!! Rogue calls
Paty screaming about Paty sending the video to Alma and Alma sending him to hell.
Paty plays stupid and then scolds Rogue. Rogue threatens Paty. He asks who is the male voice. It’s her boy toy, the photographer. Jesus
feels a little uneasy about Val and Xochy distracts him by sharing her secret
about singing in a bar and being Natasha and Ferny is in love with her. Paty
and her boy toy walks up to Alma and greets her friend as if nothing and gets
pimp slapped by Alma.
Paty tries to lie her way out and calm Alma down. She sends her boy toy on her way and
confronts Alma. Unbelievable, Paty
is still lying and Alma tells her that her father told her everything. The liar
is quiet. (It’s funny how Paty asks who told you and she always finds out who
snitched on her.) Alma lets her
know that if she doesn’t tell her the truth she is going to know the other
stupid Alma, not the one who she backstabbed.
Xochy and Jesus share a laugh and Ferny interrupts. Ferny
asks Xochy why doesn’t she wear makeup.
She jokes about being ugly. Xochy asks if Ferny plans on going to see
Natasha tonight. He notes the
change in Xochy’s behavior. She is
not as timid as before. Ferny is
looking for Alma, who is not in the office.
Alma wants the truth.
Paty’s friendship was more important than Rogue. Paty throws it back to Alma and says
that she never said that she was in love with Rogue. Alma remembers the boyfriend that mistreated Paty was in
essence, Rogue. Alma wants to know why she backstabbed her and she tells Alma
that she loves Rogue.
Paty is still lying. Paty tells Alma that Rogue never loved
her. (Who cares???) She has the nerve to say that she
valued their friendship. Bull!! A friendship is not based on lies and
deceit. She tells Alma that she
loves her!! How??? She will never forgive Paty or her dad. Paty once again turns the tables and
blames Jesus for also knowing what was going on between Paty and Rogue. Paty
has destroyed her life. Rogue
calls Paty to see what is going on with her and the boy toy. She tells him that she is doing what he
can’t. He demands that she come to
his house, she tells him that she is busy. She is not going and looks like she
is going to have a breakdown.
Alma thought bubbles to her many chats and kisses with
Jesus. She also thought bubbles to
when she told Rogue that the marriage is over and replays part of the video in
her head. Still thinking about
Jesus and his declaration of love. She also replays the discussion with her
father and what Paty said about Jesus.
She thinks about Val and how everyone has destroyed her life and sobs.
Ray is looking for Valentina and asks Chatita where is
she?? Ray asks why Chatita calls
him/her daughter, she also calls Ray, son. Chatita babbles on about Alma. Chatita has a bad feeling about Alma. Ray hopes that Chatita remembers
something about him, I’m not sure what.
Jessica wants to talk to Cardenas. He is busy but she shares
it anyway. She shares that
she did something bad to Alma. She is a demon and Alma is an angel. Cardenas gives her the que the heck
look!
Sebastard snatches up Rogue at his house. He blames Rogue for Alma wanting
nothing to do with him. He wants
to know how does Sebastard know and he tells him about the video. Alma hates him, his only daughter
because he was covering up for Rogue.
(Good, maybe he can stay with Rogue). Alma knows everything!!!
Newly liberated Gil wants to hang out tonight. Julio and Ricardo are not available;
they will be with their women. Jesus
asks Gil (who is actually working) to help him with some rubrics for a proposal
that Alma needs to present to the company President. Chatita shows up to Avon, looking for Alma. (I hope that she
can clear up the debacle that Paty created about Jesus.) She doesn’t remember
being there and talking to Alma a little while ago.
Jessica has a heart to heart with Cardenas. Cardenas has to pull it out of her
because she feels that he will think badly of her. She doesn’t understand his unconditional love for her.
Cardenas is impressed that she cares what he thinks of her. She tells him about the video of
her kissing Rogue.
Elias is on the phone inquiring about a house that he is
going to see. Val is looking for
her mother and ask if she is going to be sick again like before. She wants to know what is going on. Are
they going to get a divorce?? She
knows that when she was at school her mom was fussing with Jesus. Elias tells her that things between her
mom and dad are difficult right now.
She knows that her Papa Jesus loves Alma.
Marisela tells Jesus that Chatita is here again looking for
Alma.
Alma is at her house with a suitcase packed. Thank goodness, Chatita is at the
door. Oh no, she walks past
Chatita and leaves. She can’t take
anymore, she has to leave!!
Chatita is trying to figure out where is Alma going. She makes herself comfortable. Jesus is looking for Chatita. Chatita found the flight information.
She sees a post it Flight F-403- 19:00 hours. She has to tell Jesus.
Jesus and the secretaries are speculating that maybe something went on
with Alma, Sebastard, Jessica and Paty.
Chatita is walking around town and forgets where she
is. She is totally confused. Phew!! She crosses the street and
almost gets hit by a car.
Cardenas thinks that Jessica was fired but she wasn’t. She feels terrible. (Where are her tears??) What she did Alma
didn’t deserve. She shares that
she loves Ferny but he loves Discua. Cardenas tells her that she needs to think
before she acts and speaks. Cardenas gives her another chance.
Sebastard scolds Rogue (too late!!) They now have a pity party together. They once again blame Jesus. Sebastard tells Rogue that he convinced
Alma to marry him knowing that he was deceiving her. He convinced his daughter that Rogue was honest and
hard working. Susana calls Rogue
to see if he has seen Alma. No one
knows where Alma is.
Jesus knows that work is of the utmost importance to Alma so
he is going to go to her house.
Paty is still hearing Alma’s words in her head. The boy toy, checks on her to see how
she is doing. Jesus calls Paty,
Alma is not there and she is in bad shape. She knows everything.
Back at the Ice Castle- Vero is having her own pity
party. Minerva inquires and Vero
shares that Jesus told her for the umpteenth time that he doesn’t love
her. He loves Alma who is
separated from her husband. Vero
gets an idea, hmm maybe if Alma could get back with her husband. She is going to call Rogue. (Que the heck????)
Ferny goes to visit Rogue who is not happy to see him and
insults him. He wants him to stay at the office and check out everything that
is going on.
Alma is at the airport waiting for her flight, while a confused,
scared Chatita is walking aimlessly in the street. A police officer asks her if she is okay. She is looking for Alma who is taking a
flight and she needs to talk to Jesus.
She needs to go to Avon.
Avon is not close so the patient officer will put her in a cab.
Flight F-403 to Cancun is called and Alma walks away.
Ferny is trying to find out what is going on with Alma.
Chatita returns to Avon for the third time to look for Jesus.
She was lost and a police officer helped her. She desperately needs to speak to
Jesus. Ferny tries to yell at
Chatita and she puts him in his place.
She asks if someone can find out where flight F- 403 that leaves at 7:00
PM is going. Jesus left his cell at Avon.
Jesus arrives at Alma’s and Sebastard is there. He asks where is his daughter?? Jesus answers him. Sebastard is very
condescending towards Jesus and Jesus very nicely puts him in his place. Sebastard thought bubbles to Susana’s
words about Jesus and invites him in. Sebastard asks Jesus what happened
between he and Alma in Toluca.
Jesus tells him to nicely to mind his business. Ferny is trying to figure out why Alma
would leave. Where is her car?? It’s
in it’s parking space. She probably took a cab. She was arguing with his
brother and her father. Sebastard
clutches his heart; he is feeling a little dizzy. Xochy finally reaches Jesus
and tells her that Chatita is there.
Chatita speaks to Jesus and tells him that Alma went to Cancun.
Coming attractions:
The lies mount, an alliance between Vero and Rogue but Jesus
is on his way to Cancun. Run,
Jesus, run!!!!!

Thank you Vivi- I'm using Sebastard. It has a nice ring to it and is so appropriate.
Xochy is a smarter person than Vero because it took Jesus once to tell her that he didn't love her and although she didn't like it she got it. Vero doesn't get. How many times has he told her???
Why does Alma believe anything that Paty says. If she told me that today was July 11th, I would have to check my calendar.

They already used that ''hard to believe that in real life all people making line at the airport yield for someone with any excuse and let him board the plane'' thing. First with the wedding dress and now because ''he is in love and MUST GO SEE the woman he loves''.

Thanks Tablet Jefa....I stopped watching this after Paty planted that cruel lie that Jesus knew all the time about her affair with Rogelio. She must really hate Alma more than we realized. You've never liked the character of Paty (while many of us, including me, were charmed by her comic moves and exuberance). Perhaps you intuited how deeply cruel the character really was.
But another ugly moment was Marta, looking like the Witch of Endor and holding a mirror so she could secretly watch Valentina at the playground with Minerva. I see a terrifying kidnap plot coming up. Ugh.
Soooo...too much drama right now in this comedy. Bring back Discua, please!

As someone whose hips and knees ache all the time from too much dancing and exercising on hard gym floors, I have a great deal of sympathy for the old gal lurching around and still earning her paycheck.
But juarever, your description was hilarious and I love your sense of humor. So all is forgiven. FOR NOW.

Crazy episode and you really did a wonderful job getting this madness down in detail for us TJ. Like Judy, I may have a softer spot for some of the characters, but can chuckle still at your snarky comments.

No, thank YOU Table Jefa for the wonderful recap. I'm honored that my nickname for Alma's selfish, horrible father was used in your recap. The man really does blame everyone else before even considering his role in creating this mess.
OK. Now that Jesus knows Alma is headed for Cancun, why can't he leave her alone and let her deal with her issues. Yes, we know that Alma left with a misconception about him (he only suspected Rogue and Pati, he didn't know for sure), but he doesn't know that. He knows she is going through a rough time with Rogue and her dad. Now, she obviously just needs some time alone. Is that his business? Why does he have to run after her? As her assistant, he should be CHA (covering her a**) at the office, and keeping things under control while she pulls herself together.
Of course, I also wouldn’t mind finally seeing some romance between these two, and what better place than Cancun? :)

I was *wrong.* The obsessively responsible Alma just up and left. Ok, her world has just crumbled, but at least she should have remembered her job and named someone to be in charge.
Didn't Chucho make it all the way to Cancun before? Or was it just the airport? He certainly was on a tear to put Rogue and Paty together.
The photog did get them together, but now he has been compromised. Paty is stuck with him for as long as he wants to hold the photos over her head.
Paty's tears didn't affect me one bit. What did she think, that this secret was going to stay in the box forever? Or be able to lie her way out, as always. Nopis, didn't feel sorry for her, but loved her attempts to keep herself sanitized.
Sebastoturd and Alma's convo was funny, through the anger and the tears, because Alma didn't really know the whole story and Sebasto didn't know she didn't know and spilled the beans. (Are we keeping this straight? I'm as bad as Chatita, but I don't have as big a bra as she does.)

TJ thanks for your recap and putting up with these crazy characters twice in one week. I'm like you, Paty was not all that funny to me based on her affair with the fiance of her supposed best friend and her parting lies just demonstrated that again. I had to ignore her tears as they seemed to be b/c she got caught not real remorse.

I am kinda sorry I missed the conversation between Chatita and Ray, I guess, but I think I'll let your recap be my only memory of this episode. I suspect that "she is going to know the other stupid Alma" is YOUR joke. It's too funny to have been in the actual script. :-)

Well my spanish is weak, but it sounded to me like Alma did say something about the other stupid Alma. It was quite a scene!
