La Tempestad #25- 8/30/13: Aba Daba Honeymooooon!
Ahoy, La Tempestad Maties, and A Happy Labor Day to Y'all! Hope you are enjoying the last days of summer. We have moved to the pier again because so much is going on, on the water this epi. This recap will not be in order, so please enjoy your Tequila Sunrises, put the spyglass to your eye so we can see what is what with His Deliciousness (DamFab) and his lovely wife, er, his Pesering Wifey Pooh on that sailboat.
The Rehash:
Commandante with Jaz and she is scared. He wants to know about others in organization, like who is the leader, and that he knows she is really Lu and not Jaz. She only knows about Nereo and noone else. He'll go so as not to get her in trouble, they'll meet again to talk some more.
DamDelicious has returned to port as the Harbor Master has called him back in for something urgent. Ester stays on the boat. She isn't happy. She wants him to hurry. She thinks everything is going er, swimmingly.
Herny at the pool thinking about how he'll get rid of DamDelicious during his honeymoon, he is now a partner in bidness with Marina in which she will be close to him. Herny's womens have arrived. They work hard for the money, so hard for it honey, er, well you know. They are in his room changing. They now come out to the pool, group kissing ensues, I'll leave it at that.
DamDelicious goes to the Harbor Master to see what is up and of course encounters Marina. She called him back to tell him she'll fight for her love, she'll prove she ain't no coward. It's getting warm ladies and gentlemen. Now it's getting warmer with that nice bear hug he gives Marina, sigh! Besos now ensue. He'll think about her the whole trip and she'll be waiting for him to come back.
Ester is getting impatient on the sailboat. Her DamDelicious hubby should have been back by now!
DamFabilicious has Marina in his manly muscular arms and she tells him about hearing his Madrina and how the voice told her to get Damilicious to come back. He says he saw his Madrina and mentions it was like a warning of danger. The only danger is a trip with PesterEster. He doesn't think there is any danger. Marina wants him to be careful. Everything is fine and dandy, hush your mouth Capitancito! It's like putting the devil on the wall. Old German expression, my dearly departed Mama used to say this all the time. It's like saying, Don't say it cause it may happen! Now DamDelicious has Marina encircled in those manly arms of his, pulls her close and ravishes her with kisses. Ester comes upon them and is pithed. She doesn't confront them though, she feels humilated and thinks how long will this slut of a woman be chasing her DamDelicious hubby. but she will not be separated from her DamDelicious hunk of a manly man on her honeymoon. Yeah, keep dreaming Estercita! She stalks off.
The New Hash:
Ain't Misbehavin'
Damdelicious and Marina are still out in front of the Harbor Master's office still sucking face in front of the whole town. Just imagine if Fully or Herny had come by! What about Bea, the scandal! Anyhoo, it's time to say bye for now. Fabilicious tells Marina she is the only woman he will eva love, to remember that, but he's gotta go with the PesterEster. She knows she will think about him all that time and he asks her to wait for him. They ti amo each other and many besos and he reluctantly walks away. The theme song plays.
I Don't Wanna Cry, Don't Wanna Cry:
PesterEster is steaming mad and marches right down to that ole dock. She is clapping and yelling at the men on the dock to untie the mooring lines cause she is going on this honeymoon with or without DamFabilicious y punto! Off she goes. Does she even know how to sail? Hmmmmm.......
Mexico City:
Mercy (Mercedes) is thinking about her last visit to R-LayDee and thinking about that hug she got from Marina last time she was there. She smiles. She is interrupted by Ally (Alicia). Mercy is telling Ally that the new investigators she hired haven't found Maggie (Magdalena). Ally tells her they called and maybe have some clues. Mercy doesn't even wanna think about Maggie maybe being dead. Ally says "Shut your mouth" well, not, that, but ya know, don't think that way. Keep on keeping on in other words. Ally doesn't think that Maggie is dead. Mercy hates to think about the sad life Maggie has had. All the terrible things that could have happened to her. She will keep fighting to find Maggie. She also talks about calling that pay phone, and noone eva answers! Well guess what ya'll, the pay phone is calling! It's those two women that saved Mercy from that knife wielding ho the other night, ya know the ones that she took to the Chinese place? Well they have had a Maggie sighting one of the ladies isn't sure but the other one says she looked like the picture, but she was in a bad way. Mercy wants to know if the lady talked to her, where does she live. Nopis, from the lady. They just wanted to let her know since Mercy was so nice to them. Mercy is going to meet them at the same Chinese place. Mercy goes to the Chinese place and meets those girlz, Leona and Chivis. Mercy wants all the details. Chivis was the one that saw her face but didn't get a good look. They chased after her, but stopped cause Leona broke her heel. The girl was drunk and had dirty clothes on. They think she is homeless and an alcoholic, a lost soul on the streets. Mercy is very upset and prays. Later, Mercy goes home and tells Ally what she discovered, about Maggie, being an alcoholic, having a bad life, etc, etc.
R LayDee Dock:
How Do You Solve a Problem Like a Pester?
Damdelicious is looking for the sailboat and guess what y'all? It isn't there. Where is it you ask? Well, it a little ways from the dock. If you use your spyglass you can see it plain as day ; ) Damdelicious isn't happy seeing Pester on the deck, so he jumps off the pier and swims out to the sailboat.
Witchy Woman, She's Got The Moon In Her Eyes:
Marina has come to pay Madre Eusebia a little visit and finds her on the floor. Marina calls her name and asks if she is ok. Eusebia tells her not to touch her. She is still in limbo and if Marina touches her she won't be able to come back. Marina stays back. Finally Eusebia is back in the land of the living and Marina picks her up off the floor. Marina asks why she heard her, but didn't see her, and she didn't imagine her there? Eusebia doesn't know where she travels just does but she remembers talking to DamDelicious. What about the danger part? Did Marina get him to come back? She tells Eusebia that DamDelcious is with Ester, she started the sailboat and he went after Ester, she could have had an accident otherwise. Eusebia wants Marina's hands. She tells Marina that her and DamDelicious were made for each other, but there will be obstacles in their way. Marina is worried now she won't be with DamDelicious but Eusebia tells her it is only what she sees, and Marina is afraid cause she's heard it said that Eusebia is never wrong with her visions. Is there anything Marina can do to stop the obstacles? Only Dios and the Virgincita can do that. Marina has to go to work, but Eusebia wants her to sit and just listen she has some things to tell her. She wants Marina's heart to speak to her. No words, just listen. So Marina sits as Eusebia touches her shoulders and hair and tells her that is one, but in reality, she is two (a twin, but Marina doesn't know that) There are two bodies and two hearts very different from each other, Marina doesn't know her true origens but will soon. The truth will out from someone that will surprise her.
On The Sea, On The Sea, On The Beautiful Sea, You and Me, You and Me, Oh, How Happy We'll Be, Yeah Right!
Pester is sooo happy that DamDelicious could make it for the honeymoon by swimming out to the boat! She thought he'd never get there, no not that. She wants a toast, to their happiness and as the priest said till death them do part! Sha la la, Sha la la. Juarever! Oh, please! She is pithed cause he didn't also do a toast he didn't even say salud! He tells her she always wants things when she wants them! Oh, it's all about Marina isn't it? She tells him she saw him kissing that woman! He wants her to relax, she isn't going to. DamDelicious figures out that she took the boat out cause of that kiss with Marina. DamDelicious takes the bottle away from her. She is a desperate woman and wanted to seperate him from that woman and she succeeded, that's her story and she is sticking to it. He wants her to enjoy this little trip she wanted, por Dios. She's his wife and she wants attention from him and she's soooo jealous! Ya think! He is running out of patience, how many times has he got to tell her he didn't marry her for love? She doesn't want to hear that. She wants a chance with him, he reminds her this trip is a goodbye trip. She just wants a chance to prove she can change, do whatever he wants. I feel so sorry for her. She just doesn't get that he sooo isn't into her. Pester is really holding on to DamDelicious on that rocking sailboat. She is basically begging him, she loves him, she'll do anything to be the woman he wants her to be, she'll even love him more than that damn Marina, DamDelicious tells her to quit bringing up Marina's name. Pester seems to think that Marina is only toying with His Deliciousness and that Marina doesn't really love him. I smell major desperation! Marina just doesn't love him as much as Pester does! His Deliciousness is getting pithed! Pester says he made her blood boil the night they did the nasty, er the deed, she lurrvess her some DamDeliciousness and wants to show him how much, in other words she wants a roll in the hay. She is begging him for this night. Good luck with that, chicka! DamDelicous makes the uf sound and rolls his eyes. Pester has gone below and comes back, removes her skirt and unsnaps her bathing suit top and lays down right in front of DamDelicious, she wants to get the last of the sun. DamDelicious is at the helm just a shakin' his head and he says the things Pester will do to get his attention!
Empacadora:
Marina has come back to work. Olinto is there too and there are some documents that were saved cause they were in the safe. Does she want to check them out? Not at the moment. She asks Olinto about Madre Eusebia. Olinto says sure the whole town knows her and she is legendary for her visions, she is never wrong. You see, she has powers and uses them for good. Marina asks Olinto about her history. They say Eusebia drowned as a child and they brought her back to town, and she was stone cold dead. Then suddenly at the funeral, she opened her eyes and just like Lazarous she was resurrected! Eusebia was twelve when this happened. Eusebia thinks this happened to her to have a mission so to speak, to save people. And so she has done so. Marina says so it's a gift. Marina can't let it go and wants to know if Eusebia was ever wrong? Hush your mouth, no never, er from Olinto. Marina tells Olinto what Eusebia told her about the danger to DamDelicious on this little trip of his and Marina is worried. Olinto thinks maybe bad weather. Olinto says no worries, DamDelicious is the master of his domain, the sea that is, and can navigate with the best of them. No worries. Marina is very worried.
The Devil Went Down to Rosy's:
The devil, er Fully, has come to pay Rosy a visit. Seems he is there to tell her that he confessed to the Padre, her bubby, about being her bebe daddy! Oh, the shame, the horror, oh, my ears, my ears, is what Rosy is thinking. Fully is joyfully telling her that now her bubby, the Padre knows about her sleeping with the devil! She hits him with both her hands, ya know, sort of like swatting a pesky fly. He tells her nobody messes with the devil, er Fully. Fully tells her so she thought she could control him by telling Delfina. Don't nobody control the devil,er Fully y punto! Only Fully has control! He told her bubby the Padre in the confessional, but next time she tries to control him, he'll tell Laz he's the Papi! What will she tell Laz then? If she dares to spell the frijoles to Delfina he will tell Laz! Is that clear? Want him to spell it out? She gets it, the devil takes his leave. Rosy is upset! Later, the Padre comes to visit his sissy Rosy, who is very upset. She tells him about Fully's visit. Rosy tells her bubby she fell in love with the devil, er Fully, trusted in his sweet words of lurrvve, and she was his, hook, line and sinker! Just before Fully married Delfina she told him about the bebe, and he just walked away! Padre has it right when he says there is evil in that there soul, Fully's that is. Rosy agrees but she got something good out of Fully and that's her Laz! She says Laz is her whole life! He is also a big part of the Padre's. The two of them are the Padre's only family. Rosy says she didn't want to hurt Delfina, she is a victim of the devil too. She never told anyone so noone could point at Laz and make fun of him being a bastardo, well not that, but pretty close. Rosy now cries on her bubby's shoulder and the Padre tells her it must have been so hard for her to keep this secret all these years. He forgives her too and also gives her the benediction. Sweet! I am liking this Padre.
Mama is Crying Her Eyes Out and the Devil Berates Her!
Fully the devil, comes home and wants Delfina to stop the crying. The reason Delfina is crying is cause her little girl went on her honeymoon without saying goodbye. Ay yi yi, already! She wanted to give her little girl a beso before she left. Fully reminds her what their little girl is like. Of course she has always done what she likes. But it pains Delfina not to have seen her little girl before she left. Mama Delfina, please get a hobby, check in with the Padre, he may have some good works for you to do, jus' sayin'. Delfina thinks that little Pester isn't coming back to live with them, gonna live with His Deliciousness, and Fully reminds her little Pester isn't going to the ends of the Earth. They'll come back and live in town, so stop drowning in your tears the devil says. Fully just doesn' understand, he has never understood her. Delfina is just in pain, she feels like a cast off set of old clothes, well not that, but she is in pain cause of the way the little Pester left. Fully wants to know if she wants him to cry with her? No of course not, and Delfina says he just don't understand. She goes. Fully has a little chat with himself. Of course he doesn't understand women, who does?
At La Guacamaya, The Hottest Spot North of Havana:
Some of the Tempestad's crew are at the bar and Cande and the girls jump up and down, there is a microphone, I think, and the band is playing. Okay seems they are getting a tingle from some battery, it's a game you see. And whoever loses buys the next round. Cande thinks the guys are babies. Can't take a shock! Another round goes around!
She Was a Long Cool Woman in a Blue Dress:
Bea is happy that Becky is going out with Jose. So are we on the Patio. We have been waiting for this, ya know? He's single, he's handsome and our Luciousness Jose comes in, all spiffy in a cream colored suit, sigh! They are going to dinner and Jose even invites Bea to join them, three's a crowd it seems, cause she turns him down. Bea says she'll just stay home and rest. Becky and Jose are concerned for her. Does she want them to stay? Nah, enjoy your dinner, por favor! Bea will just take her meds and rest. Jose asks if Bea is sure? Course she is, Marina isn't going to be all night, so go enjoy yourselves. So Becky takes Lucious Jose's arm and goes.
Who Could It Be Now?
Nereo is meeting Valdivia on the beach, but it seems there is a passenger that has hidden himself in the back of Nereo's truck. Who could it be? He is climbing out of the truck and hiding himself to see what this meeting is about. It's Laz of course. Seems this meeting between Nereo and Valdiv is cause Jaz wants to call her sister, but Valdiv thinks it's too risky and why is he wanting to help Jaz anyway? Not helping her, he's only giving her consideration since she became besties with that Commandante. Valdiv wants to know if Nereo thinks Jaz will spill the frijoles to this Commandante, well Nereo is hoping she don't. Well Valdiv will put him in contact with the person that has Jaz's sissy and not to make a mistake, they can't afford any more of Nereo's little mistakes! Lara comes out of nowhere, with a gun in his hand and grabs Laz and says what have we here? Hmmmmm.... Laz is now all trussed up like the Thanksgiving Turkey and Ruh, Roh, here comes Fully. He wants to know what was so urgent he had to come down there. They want him to have a look see to see this idiot that has become such a stone in their shoes. Fully just wants him dead, sight unseen, but Valdiv insists. Okay, Fully will have a look see and lo and behold it's his son, Laz! Valdiv says so what we kill him now? Fully threatens him, he is not to touch a hair on Laz's head eva, got that. Valdiv gets it but is wondering why!
That's The Way Ah, Uh, I Like it Ah, Uh, Ah, Uh:
Those lovely ladies are all dressed in red dresses, with wine glasses at hand and regretting they didn't get to spend so much time with the Herny one. He smoochies on all of them. He really needed to spend this time with them. Whenever he calls them, they'll be there, they'll be around just for him. Creepy!!!! He has planned a special dinner just for them. They are so happy, it's like being in Paradise with him, hmmmm....... I won't even go there. He has a surprise for each of them, and by the way, what happens at Herny's stays at Herny's, capiche? Yeah, they know. He can count on them, they are discreet, he thinks that's good, cause if they ain't there will be a price to pay, salud!
On The Dark Side Of Town:
We see Maggie all bedraggled and sifting through the garbage can looking for something to eat. Pobrecita! She finds something and eats. We get a flash of Ally hugging Mercy as she cries for her daughter, Maggie. Back to Maggie, looking for more food and washing it down with some type of hooch.
A Mama's Work is Never Done:
Bea is by her lonesome, and she is putting laundry away, that would be Marina's clean clothes. She starts putting the things in the drawers in Marina's room. She comes across an envelope in the drawer with her name on it. She opens it. Dun, Dun, Dun, Dun, Dun! Bea finds out it is her medical papers from the hospital and she finds out she has an inoperable tumor on her lung. Dios Mio, she thinks she is going to die. She is very verklempt!
It's Another Tequila Sunset:
His Deliciousness is down below in the galley getting a drink of water. EsterPester comes upon him. She feels he is being so serious on this trip. He says he can't give her anymore and please don't even go there, er, ask him to. Pester just wants him to be a bit more thoughtful of her. He's sorry but he can't pretend to feel things he doesn't. He just can't give anymore. She thinks he can and she is back to begging him again, mi amor. Please Pester, just give it up already, not that way, but hush and enjoy the trip! She wants him to take her far, far away, to save her. Then he can say he tried. Pretty please your Deliciousness with a cherry on top, well, not that, but she has draped herself all over His Deliciousness. His Deliciousness wants Pester to stop torturing herself, already, por favor! Accept the fact it is neva gonna happen. Now he begs her back! Pester is getting pithed again, and says all he thinks about is that Marina and she'll get her revenge on that woman. So Pester gives His Deliciousness an Ultimatium. Either he saves Pester, or she sinks everyone, in other words will exact her revenge on everyone! So is he gonna save her or abandon her, inquiring minds want to know. He just gives her the stink eye. End of Epi!

Thank yo, Madelaine for a masterful recap. I loved the asides, like Delfina needs a hobby="Mama Delfina, please get a hobby, check in with the Padre, he may have some good works for you to do, jus' sayin' ". It's so true.
I see that Bea's days are numbered. so Marina may find about her birth mother sooner than later.
As for Pestercita, I don't feel sorry for her. I know that love is blind and she is so spoiled that she will try to get whatever she wants, whenever she wants. She doesn't know the meaning of the word- no! I see a false pregnancy in her future. Poor dumb thing.
I love Levy's body language and facial expressions when dealing with her. He makes it look so believable.

I don't know how you do it but your recaps read like a page turner AND catch every detail. Like Chris in Fla, I had to really listen to get the garbled/confusing vision from Eusebia. Thank you for this dandy recap.
I so love your musical references. The lyrics make excellent titles. Have you always loved contemporary music? Do you have an impressive collection of music on your computer?
I, too, saw Damian eye the bed as he looked at Ester. Now, THAT, Damian, would be a bad idea.
But like you, Mads. I felt very sorry for her—she is so spoiled and entitled but I think she has really fallen for Damian. Plus then, out of some sort of misplaced manly code of honor that wasn't, he marries her and humiliates her on the same day! St Damian has a lot to answer for in this situation. I see his troubles with Ester as pretty much of his own making. He did not have to sleep with her in the first place. He did not have to agree to marry her. He did not have to give her a big ol' engagement ring. He did not have to go on this STUPID trip. He has given her so many mixed messages it is no wonder she believes she can somehow twist herself into a good enough pretzel that he will take a bite.
Dare we hope that these two will get off the boat before Herny's diabolical plan comes to fruition? I hope so. I would like to see Ester reformed rather that reduced to bits.

Hernán multiple sex romp was gross but I did get a kick out of the matching scarlet-hued outfits at the end. It gave a little Rockettes feel to the choreographed orgy going on.

Totally agree, Elna June, about Damian sending mixed messages Esthercita's way. Marrying her was totally ridiculous. How is divorcing her immediately afterwards going to enhance her reputation?!! Going on this fake luna de miel was a really bad idea. I still think he was trying to force Marina into admitting she loved him, perhaps unconsciously. Otherwise, none of it makes sense.

Thanks for the richly detailed recap. I was watching our twin 3 year old granddaughters (Madelyn and Lily) so there wasn't much uninterrupted time to pay attention to the television.
With the way Dam is trimming his sails, I think they must still be in the harbor.

I really don't see why Rosy is so ashamed that her brother learned that Fully is Lazaro's daddy. After all, she did get pregnant. I say announce it to the world and make him assume responsibility. This has to be the lamest most anemic confession by a bad guy... ever.

Ana- Marina and Maggie are identical twins. That's why Mercedes has been showing the prostitutes pictures of Marina for them to be on the lookout for Maggie. So yes, they are being played by the actress and why it has been so amusing to see Marina's perfect manicure through Maggie's grime. :) Given her limited acting experience, it will be interesting to see if XN can pull off two distinct roles.

The birthday party was on Sal y Pimienta. WL's mom was there, Carla Estrada (interesting), Chino y Nacho, the crew of La Tempestad & Ivan Sanchez. I did not see Ximena or Daniela.

Mauricio: loved that article. It reflected a lot of similar comments the patio peeps have made over the weeks.
The comment about Herny reminded me what's bugged me about his character. I can see a picked on nerd reinventing himself as a captain of industry (we've seen it in real life!) or even a buff, handsome guy. What is a real beanie tightener is to think said nerd would reinvent himself as a human trafficker. I mean, how did Herny start down THAT road for goodness sakes.

Good Morning Y'all and thanks so very much for all your kind words. Hope you are all enjoying this Labor Day Weekend. We have a Beach Concert series here every Labor Day Weekend, and this year it was wonderful cause it didn't rain. Mr. Mads and I were flicking our Bics at the concert ; )
I watched my recording a couple of times to catch all of Eusebia's scene. It was hard to catch it all at one time. She is what I call a low talker. I do like her character and the way she tries to help.
Yes, Bea's tumor is inoperable, but the Doc said if she took care of herself it wouldn't be a problem. I don't think the Doc ever told her though. I think Marina asked him not to. After glancing at that report, I think she saw tumor and just assumed she is dying, not that she is dying.

I have always been a fan of contemporary music. I always listened to the radio way more than I ever watched TV. Most of the music is stored in my brain, lol. When I write for some reason a lyric will pop into my head, think pop up video, and it so fits what I am trying to say. I do have albums and a working record player too ; )
Yes, Fully protects his children doesn't he? Well, he is heavy handed with Pester. I wonder if he'd be the same with Laz? I think he actually really likes having a son, even though he won't acknowledge him. I wonder what Laz would do if he ever found out?
I do feel so sorry for Pester, the poor thing. Fully treats her like crap, her Mama Delfina treats her like a baby, Myaya pulls one over on her every chance she gets, and His Deliciousness is the first one to treat her with some affection and now she thinks that is love. It's really sad. He has told her time and again that he doesn't love her, but I really think since His Deliciousness slept with her, then marries her to "save her reputation" she thinks he loves her. So sad. I too don't think he should have married her or gone on this trip with her. It's all kinds of wrong. I also think the one with the drinking problem is Pester. I am glad His Deliciousness took that bottle away from her.
She is also very child like. She isn't mature enough to really see what is really going on so to speak. She just can't understand why His Deliciousness doesn't love her, but loves Marina instead. She believes she has it all and then some. She acts like she is sixteen instead of twenty one? I don't know how old she is supposed to be. Kudos to Laura Carmine for this excellent portrayal of this character.
As far as XN goes, I like her character portrayal also. I don't think she is stiff, nervous maybe. She is sure portraying the Maggie character pretty well. This must be tough for her, playing two very distinct characters on her first acting gig. I can't wait to see what she does.

I remember Mejia saying that the PesterEster character is supposed to be 18 years old. Which makes me wonder who would be older - Laz or PesterEster? Maybe they are around the same age.
Ok. I'm diving in to watch the episode finally.
Mauricio- According to the timeline of when things happened, Laz has to at least be a couple of months older than Esther. His mom was already pregnant when Fully married Delfina, who I'm sure was a virgin bride.

mads..."pop up video"... Gave me a giggle..I have a few old albums and 45s, but I never play them . I love the satellite radio in my car because there are stations for the 60s, 70s, oldies love songs, etc.

I've been sucked into watching the Colin Firth version of Pride and Prejudice (Ovation channel) and can't tear myself away long enough to watch my LT recording. I could watch this version of P&P 100 times, and never get tired of it.

Totally agree that Ivan Sanchez is doing the best anyone could with his ridiculous character.
Also ITA re: Laura Carmine. Despite her annoying behavior, she brings an element of vulnerability and truthfulness to her character so I find myself wanting a good outcome somehow for her. I too think she's a fantastic actress, and she's really funny when she goes off on her tirades.
Many may not agree with me, but I found myself wanting her to survive in Amor Bravio, even though her character was not the person you'd want as a sister. Laura has the ability to bring dimension to her characters so that they are not totally one-sided. I hope to see her in many more TNs to come.

Marta- I think many would actually agree with you. I would have loved for Ximena to change her ways and have a good relationship with her sister and her new brother Dan. I would have loved it had Alonso also survived. The two of them were two great characters. Bad, but very vulnerable and redeemable. But, they came up against Hissadora, unfortunately.
Vivi - Thank you. You've described it well. I was feeling the same way about Alonso. They were great characters (he and Ximena), and I liked them together. It would have been wonderful if they were able to change their ways and survive, but alas, we had Hissadora, and so it goes.

ITA re LCs portrayal of Ximena in Amor Bravio. I hated her one minute but then feared for her safety the next. And Viv and I were, apparently, the only two people who watched "Quien Eres Tu" but she was GREAT as the lead in that. I don't want her for DamFab but I don't want her beat up by Fully either:(

Vivi...I've never seen Colin in Pride and Prejudice, but I loved him in Bridget Jones and other movies. I saw on a news show that there is a statue of him as his character from P&P that is moved around England. It was shown in the lake where the movie was filmed. I must watch that movie.

I agree about not wanting her with DamFab, but she has to get away from that horrific father of hers. Now, if somehow, some way Hernan could redeem himself (meaning get out of the human trafficking biz) and get over his obsession with Marina, they might make a good couple. just sayin'
