Corazon Indomable, Episode #90, Monday, 9/16/2013 – Boy, Oblivio Really Is No Good!!!

Recap by LatinaInMD

Boy, Oblivio Really Is No Good!!!

The Short:   When I was enjoying this show, I liked recapping every little detail.  But now that I’m somewhat bored (sorry, gringo), I came up with this short Haiku version of Oblivio’s “accomplishments” in this episode:

Flee Shut Up Doris,
Lean on Simona for Dough,
Bye, Bye, Baby Girl!!!

Oh, ok, I guess a little detail is still in order, given this is such a “pivotal” episode.

The Long:

I’m still giving you all more or less a bullet-point recap because that’s pretty much what we got from the editors with this seriously chopped-up episode.  Was it just my impression, or were most scenes just seconds long?

Previously:  Lucia is on the phone with Ofelia, telling her they have sold the ranch and must pack up their belongings.  Octavio bemoans to Ed the loss of his parents’ beloved ranch, as if he didn’t spend the better part of his adult immature playboy life trying to get rid of it.

Doris demands that her daddy publicize Octavio’s expulsion to the four winds.  She also insists that he expel the “casino woman” on trumped up prostitution charges.

Maricruz is sad that Octavio is leaving town, as if she doesn’t know that she is just days away from seeing him again back on their stomping grounds in Tamaulipas.  Suddenly, she thought bubbles the brilliant (not) idea that she must take their baby girl to the airport to say goodbye to him.

Doris continues to argue with her daddy about the casino woman.  He reminds her that that woman has a daughter she must protect; Doris reminds him he has a daughter too, and swears that she WILL do what she can to throw that woman off the island.

Maricruz asks Juanita to hurry up and get Lupita all dressed up so she can take her to the airport to say goodbye to her daddy.

The guv warns Doris not to do anything against the casino lady; Doris tells him he is a weakling, but she is not, so wait and see what she will do to her.

Octavio bemoans to Eduardo that after he searched so much for his daughter (when, oh when, did he really search for her?), he can’t simply forget about her.  (Don’t worry, Oblivio, you’ll forget without even trying.)

Doris drives with Mariana in her luxed-up golf cart – are they really heading all the way to the airport in that thing? The “governor’s daughter” brags to her friend that if she could get back at Octavio, then she can easily do it to the casino woman too.

MA shows up at the airport with Lupita.  Octavio sees them and walks up to them, with tears rolling down his cheeks.  He asks if she is going to Mexico.  She says no, she is there so he can say goodbye to their daughter.  She hands him the baby, and he nose kisses here.  (I have the feeling some tears and snot were exchanged in the process.  Poor baby – I hope she got paid double for that.)

Ofelia goes to the Realengo and breaks the news to Esther that the Narvaez ranch was sold.  Esther wonders who bought it and Ofelia tells her all she knows is that it was a woman.

Octavio thanks Maricruz for bringing the baby to him, especially since he thinks they may never see each other again.  He begs her not to raise the baby girl with hatred towards him.  She asks him why he is such a coward and he tells her he simply turned into what she wanted him to be, “un giñapo”, more or less an empty shell of a man – come to think of it, though, when has he been anything but that?  He laments that the name he gave his daughter is now tarnished thanks to the expulsion order against him – uhm, I seem to recall Maricruz telling him his name appears nowhere on the birth certificate – and again suggests she had something to do with it.  She insists she had nothing to do with it.  He then practically begs her to re-marry soon, so that she can give their daughter a father, so she will never have to know what a “loser dad” she has.  She tells him she will never marry again.

Ofelia bemoans not knowing where she will end up.  Esther asks if Simona has returned yet and suggests that Ofelia wait until Lucia returns.  She thinks perhaps they only sold Octavio’s part of the ranch.

Octavio asks Maricruz if she is telling the truth.  She says yes, “I only loved once with all my heart and I will never do it again.”  The man who just hours (minutes?) earlier was telling his friend that he can’t simply forget about his child now suddenly tells Maricruz that he will speak with the lawyer and give up ALL his rights to the baby.  She calls him a coward again and asks if he will marry Simona.  He hesitates then answers no, but she knows better:  “You WILL marry her.  Your ambition finally took control of you.”  She caresses his cheek and tells him:  “Go with her, but you will not be free of me so easily.  I swear you will not be free of me so easily.”

JackAss tells Esther there are rumors that the ranch was sold and wonders if it is true.  She says she heard it but doesn’t believe it.  They continue their old argument about him wanting her to leave el Realengo.

Maricruz promises Octavio:  “My hatred will pursue you wherever you go.” He assures her that her hatred will not reach him where he is going, as if she doesn’t know exactly where Simona’s farm is.  She leaves with the baby and Oblivio “the weakling” practically collapses into Simona’s arms, bemoaning that he will not see his baby girl grow up, nor will she ever love him.  (Cry me a river, boy, you just gave her up without even blinking.)  Simona assures him that he can still see his daughter, but he doesn’t believe Maricruz will be going to Simona’s ranch any time soon.  (Oh, Oblivio, if you only knew….)

Doris and Mariana arrive at the airport and catch a glimpse of Maricruz leaving with the baby.  Doris hurries towards Octavio before he can board the plane and starts screaming for all around to hear:  “I came to say goodbye to you, criminal.”  She grabs his weak fist and touches it to both of her cheeks, pathetically pretending that he is hitting her.  She is still screaming like the BSC woman she is as he heads towards the plane.  She wants to follow him right into the plane, but Ed intervenes and demands that she leave if she doesn’t have a boarding pass.

Simona babies Octavio and tells him he is “now far from her reach.”  She caresses his cheek and tells him to forget about the disagreeable incident with Doris.

Doris now tells Mariana that the casino woman is next on her hit list:  “Daddy doesn’t even imagine how far I can go against that woman.”

Maricruz is back in her villa, holding Lupita and telling her that they have lost her daddy forever, as tears roll down her cheeks.  (Oh, please, woman after he begged and begged to be forgiven, and when you know full well you will be living practically next door to him.  Yawn.)

Octavio and Simona are now in Mexico City with Lucia and Miguelito.  I must say Lucia is suddenly looking quite youthful.  Simona recounts to Lucia the disagreeable scene Doris caused at the Isla Dorada airport.  They are discussing how well Miguelito is doing, and Octavio points out they have no more money worries – (of course, because they all only live in the present.  Who cares if the money will run out in about another week.  Worry about it then.)  Lucia declares it was “a blessing” that the ranch was sold, which is quite odd when she knows it was sold to her worst enemy.  Minor detail.

Seconds later, we now see Octavio and Simona back at the Narvaez ranch.  Octavio tells Ofelia that Lucia is still in Mexico City with Miguelito.  Ofelia doesn’t recognize the transformed Simona at first, but once Simona tells her who she is she complements her on her change.  Methinks she is hoping to snag a new job.

A manila envelope is delivered to Maricruz at her villa.  She opens it and out come the pieces of Octavio’s expulsion order, along with a note from the guv saying he has kept his promise and expects to get his “reward” in return…..(cut to very brief and useless scene with Octavio, Simona and Ofelia.)…..Back to Maricruz, who says she will safeguard those torn papers until the right time.  Moments later, someone else is at her door.  It’s the island’s police chief, there to inform her that she better sell her properties there quickly and leave, before they give her only 24-hours to leave too.  Once he departs, Maricruz tells Juanita that it’s time for her to leave the island too.  She has nothing to retain her there, not even the casino.  She has to return to Mexico, to the place of her childhood, where she suffered hunger and cold, the place where she fell in love, then was abandoned, blah, blah, blah.

Esther tells JackAss that she is his wife and doesn’t have to live in a degraded way like all the women in Realengo do.  If he wants her to be hard with him, then she will be.  She thought he had self-initiative, but now she has discovered that he was “born to receive orders”.    She adds:  “Everyone who lives here should have a better life, but they have adapted to living in misery, and I’m not going to do it.”  (Really?  I’d say she adapted quite well, given how dirty and disheveled she looks for most of her pregnancy and beyond.)  She warns him that from now on she will be different.  For added effect, she gives him a light punch in the chest and leaves him standing out in the open as she heads back, full of self-assurance, into their shack.

We get sepia flashbacks as Maricruz tells Juanita that she “has to” return to “that place”, perhaps to torture herself, but to torture “him” too.  (Oh, boy, more torture.  I can hardly wait.  Yippie….not!!!!)

Doris goes to the police chief demanding he inform her of what he has accomplished with “that woman”.  He tells her it’s better for her not to get involved, assuring her that señora Mendoza will leave the island no matter what.  She warns him that her father better not know that she is behind this plot.

Ofelia plays matchmaker, telling Simona she thinks “the time has come” for her to conquer Octavio.

Maricruz meets with Karim and informs him that she has put her part of the casino up for sale.  She can’t stay on the island because powerful forces oblige her to leave, and she can’t fight against them.  (Oh, oh, sounds like SuperMari is losing her fighting powers.  Gotta wonder what other powers she might be losing soon.)

Ofelia tells Simona she does not see Octavio doing well.  He looks very sad and without any hope.  Simona wisely notes that Octavio previously rejected her because he felt he was too good for her, but now he rejects her because he feels he is not good enough for her.

Maricruz offers to sell her part of the casino to Karim, asking only for a just price.  He tells her he only bought his part to be next to her and he is not interested in the rest of the casino.  She asks if she is then free to sell to someone else.  He says he prefers that she stay, but she insists she has no choice but to leave.

Octavio is back at the burned up shack, reminiscing about their past good times….Ok, maybe not.  He laments “poor Ramiro’s” demise, blah, blah, blah.  Sorry, I just don’t buy that he truly cares, and I’m sure most of Viewerville agrees.

Simona visits Esther at her shack and informs her that Lucia will be back soon to pack up her belongings and remove them from the ranch.  Now Esther knows the ranch really was sold.

As Octavio stands by the burned out shack, a man approaches him from behind.  What?!  It looks like none other than Ewwwsebio, with just a bit more facial hair and tighter clothes, but the same raspy voice.  But, surprise, surprise, Octavio doesn’t recognize the man or the voice.

Previews:  Maricruz informs Raiza that she is leaving the island.  Back at Simona’s ranch, Lucia encourages Octavio to marry Simona.  Later, Octavio tells Simona (yes, he doesn’t ask her, he tells her) that he WILL marry her.

Latina- I love your title and haiku. Great recap.

OK, so Ewsebio has a twin brother, who’s out for revenge against the Narvaez. Get in line, buddy. Maybe it’s not a good idea for Solita to return to the ranch if this guy us going to be creeping around. Even if he isn’t a rapist, like his brother, just think how traumatic that would be for her. And since Mari hasn’t bothered to find out who raped her (only her own traumas are important), she won’t get what’s up with Solita.

I did feel Mari’s tearful goodbye to Tav was ridiculous since she knows she bought his ranch and will be his neighbor soon enough. But I loved when she called him a coward. Truer words couldn’t have been said to describe him. Shell of a man fits too. Carlos- I really have never seen a weaker/lamer galan. (Rogelio in LQNPA was the biggest douchbag.) I can’t believe he was willing to give up his daughter, just because he’s been expelled from one tiny island. It’s not like he was expelled from all of Mexico!

I did laugh when just two scenes later Mari was willing to throw in the towel and give up when faced with the same threat, so it kind of weakened her coward argument a bit.

Daniel Arenas continues to show he’s really good with the little ones. With both Lupita and Miguelito he maintains eye contact and physical contact with the little ones. He always shows he’s aware that they’re in the scene, which the other actors don’t always do.

Hey, I know how we can wrap up this Isla Dorada storyline in one episode, in a neat little bow…

Karim gets ticked off at Doris for trying to expel Mari. He has her killed. The Gov, with the police chief in tow, comes after Karim for what he did to his daughter. Karim pulls out his little curved knife just as the Gov has him pinned to his desk, strangling him, and stabs the Gov to death. The police Chief shoots Karim dead, and one of Karim’s men throws a dagger at the police chief, killing him.

Teo takes over all of Karim’s assets (due to some clever paperwork he had Karim sign), including his part of the casino. Teo also becomes the new Gov of the Island. He and Raiza make peace, make love, and become equal partners in the casino, and in running the island as the Gobernador and Gobernadora. Marina and Tony lock eyes, fall in love, and Raiza and Teo leave them to run the casino. Next! (And on to Tamaulipas.)

Latina, enjoyed the recap and your ongoing chorus of scepticism toward our messed up characters.

It seemed that they completely disregard any reality, even the shaky TN reality. I think the writers(?!) try to have our characters say the most outrageous and maddening things they can invent, even when there's no link to what happened before or what was said before.

Vivi, love your plot! I think it covers all the bases for Isla Dorada.

I will also add to my Isla wrap-up plot that Teo/Angel buys up Mari's shares of the casino with his mystery money (we will never know for sure if he was El Zorillo), so he becomes the full owner once he acquires Karim's shares.

Vivi- love it. We win. The actors get to go home. Perfect.

Of course, getting a lawyer would have been easier if not as satisfying as vivi's plan. Or threatening the gov with bad business pr.

Nah. The murder plan is still better, assumming no one else has a secret twin.

I hate Octavio in this episode. HATE!!!! How could he left his daughter???? He could try to talk to Maricruz about visits or something. But for him it's much more easy to say goodbye para siempre. And I don't agree, that he begged and begged to be forgiven. He never said "sorry, I was so stupid". He asked to return to him, but he never really say "sorry". And what is worse, he never said "i love you". So why should Maricruz forgive him and return to him?
And I hate Simona's smile in this episode. He was so happy to see Octavio and Maricruz suffering. And she didn't say, that he couldn visit her daughter. Her words were more cynical: PERO SIEMPRE SEGUIRÁ SIENDO TU HIJA, POR MUCHO QUE RENUNCIES TUS DERECHOS SOBRE ELLA (BUT SHE'LL ALWAYS BE YOUR DAUGHTER, EVEN IF YOU RESIGN YOUR RIGHTS OVER HER!). Really? I don't think, that Lupita will be happy to know, that her father decided to forget about her, but she must love him anyway. No way!!! And also Simona added: I HOPE SHE LEAVES YOU IN PEACE FOREVER. So she meant, that she hopes they never meet each other again. And with daughter also, I'm sure.
So now we'll see happy times in rancho. Oh, yes.
Alegria

Vivi, what wonders you did with this episode. Like watching yo-yo's with these people. Argh!!

But I agree about the kiddies and Daniel A. Sexiest moment that man has had. I mean nothing better than a man who is awesome with the kiddies. And little Lupita, such a flirt, sure likes her some Daniel. Who listened to the drivel he was spewing with his character...I just focused on the smiles and coos.

A Karim sighting. He won't let MC slip away so easy, and my guess is since we have Tav hooking up with Simona, I betting MC gets with Karim. Stupido.

Which also begs the question...WTH happened to TEO in this mess??

If Doris shows up on the ranch, my vote is for a "friendly encounter" with Moctavio. I would so enjoy the little guy getting his mitts into her perfect hair and watch her freak out.

A twin Ewwwssssbio? Really???

Daisynjay

Daisynjay- This great recap was a LatinaInMD contribution. I just posted for her.

Latina, what a great haiku and recap! Thanks!

Maybe Maricruz is not losing her edge so much on Isla Dorada as just being more interested in escaping the gov's repayment plan, actually taking possession of the Narvaez ranch and keeping Octavio on his toes.

The whole "coward" conversation with Octavio shows that Maricruz has had his number for a long time. She even knew he would be marrying Simona. What will his character have to do to be worthy of her love in the end? Can he do anything to be worthy of her love? Just thinking that he would have to rescue her from something or someone which would presuppose a bad problem for Maricruz that she could not get out of by her self. "Juarever" it is going to be fun!

At least there was a mooonkey sighting in Octavio's reminiscing about the "good old days" (for him and the mooonkey at least) on the ranch.

Jarifa

Thanks for the recap, it was frustrating epi!

I really do hope Karim takes out Doris for MA. She has to get some punishment. I don't want her to win full out.

I cant believe they are bringing back Ewwwwsebio, even if a twin! Just a bridge too far for me but I guess this is how the writers decided MA can find out the truth abt Solita, and get more vengeance.

I wish this show would start to wrap up but too many episodes left :(

Jarifa- He did already save her from being kidnapped and raped by Karim. It wasn't enough.

All Mari has to do to find out who raped Solita is ask her, or remember back to when Solita perfectly described the bearded man with a whip who was causing her distress. Since he's dead, and the rape had nothing to do with the Narvaez or Ewsebio's brother, I just don't see how this will lead to any closure for Solita.

Vivi, you are right. It wasn't enough. So what will he have to do that is going to be enough? When will his debt be paid?

Jarifa

Latina, great job, I loved all your comments about the absurdity of every situation. I was experiencing them too. Can this show get more ridiculous and nonsensical? Unfortunately yes.

How many times has MA declared that Lupita has no father and she will raise her by herself? How many times did Octavio threaten to take over custody of her? Now he gives her up totally, and MA is sad that she won't have a daddy. Ugh.

What kind of place lets the daughter of the governor have as much power as the governor? None of this expulsion plot makes any sense.

Now Eusebio has a twin?!? Good God, this is stoopid. did they regret too late that they killed him off so this is how they bring him back? I would believe it more if Eusebio just didn't actually die from the shooting, and Miguel thought he did.

Vivi, you have too much time on your hands to come up with your alternative plot, lol.

Cathyx- It took all of 30 seconds to think of ways for all of these characters to die. And no twins please!

Thank you for the very entertaining recap, Latina, it made me giggle more than once. I totally get your frustration, although I can't say I share it, because I simply don't care about any of these people.

That talk at the airport was sooo ridiculous! I have no more words to describe how much MC, Tav and their supposed love story turn me off - they are both truly HORRIBLE, no amount of good acting could ever salvage this story for me. What they said in their "goodbye" scene made no sense, nor will it make any tomorrow when they say the exact opposite.

I still can't believe this tn is so popular in Mexico! How on Earth...

Vivi, it would make sense that Teo ends up buying the casino. Maybe he will end up with Raisa too.

So sorry LatinaMD. I missed that at the start. Rockin' recap!!

Latina, what a great recap and I love your title and your commentary throughout is hilarious. My favorite line:

"But, surprise, surprise, Octavio doesn’t recognize the man or the voice."

Who could have guessed that Octavio might not recognize him?

My heart soared when I saw Eusebio, I hope that he survived that bullet to the head so he can face some real Maricruz vengeance... death was too easy. So Vivi, I hope you are wrong about him being a twin, however if he is, then I think it would be great if he's the good twin... it would be fun for us to embrace someone who looks just like a crazed drunken rapist. Maybe he could even turn out to be a good father figure for his nephew.

I'm actually a bit excited about the return to the ranch.

I love your wrap up for things on the island, Vivi. I'd miss Doris, however.

Carlos

Tks so much Latina. As I said before, recapping this mierda is tough duty, you HAVE to pay attention.

Not surprising, Oct doesn't recognize Eusebio, the writers brains are mush.
They have made Oct into their image.

Wonder where Ester is going to put her stuff?

I guess Aeromiedo doesn't care that their employee is a criminal? Did Oct have health insurance when he crashed? They never even bothered to look for him or their plane. I guess we are fortunate that they left our these little details, it would just extend the TN, ¡enough already!

Vivi, can we have your episode tonight???

Maybe they didn't sell Oct's part of the ranch???? What part would that be,the back 40, half the baths & kitchen, a bedrm or 2?

Oh, and cliche # 35, a twin to the evil Eusebio.
¡Dios Mio! they even have one over on PEAM!

Carlos- The twin brother thing is a certainty, since he thought bubbled about the Narvaez killing his brother and how he's going to get revenge. Let's hope he doesn't have the same tendencies (rape, murder, whips) as his brother, and keeps his anger focused on the Narvaez.

Nope. Not a surprise at all that Tav didn't recognize someone with the same unique build and voice as Ewsebio.

I just realized, if Mari moves to the ranch, which she will, she and Lupita then become targets for Twinsebio. What better way to hurt a Narvaez than through harming his lady love and his baby?

Good work. Yours; not the writers'.

The Governator is clearly out to lunch for not having Doris put in the manicomio long before this. She will be committing murder before this story comes to an end.

Octavio needs a brain transplant for his failure to see how he failed MariCruz.

As for a live Eusebio or an identical twin? Egad.

Vivi, that whizzed right past me last night. I love all the possibilities this presents. I like my idea of a good twin though it seems unlikely what with his thought bubbles of revenge.

Carlos

Variopinta- The airlines does/would care that Tav is a criminal. That's why he's no longer a pilot and was just a passenger on this flight. That's also why he thinks he has no other choice but to return to the ranch and become Simona's trophy husband. Of course, we know the ONE AND ONLY COPY of the expulsion order has been ripped up, but it doesn't seem that Tav actually checked in with his employers to see if they had been informed he is a "criminal" on Isla Dorada. Who cares about little important details like that though?! The plot says everyone must go back to the ranch, and the monkey writers will find any way to accommodate that, even if it means people doing things that make no sense.

Carlos- Hey, if Mari can still be considered good, when she thought bubbles about revenge all the time, then Twinsebio could also be good.

vivi -- I love your Isla Dora extermination plan. Do you think this could be accomplished in one episode, or maybe between commercials?? This Guv, SUD, Karim stuff is getting really old. Teo/Angle and Raiza would make a perfect couple and a great Guv and first lady. They have my vote.

I love the interaction between Daniel Arenas and baby Lupita. She can not take her eyes off of him. I noticed her little hands reaching out to touch him. What a touching addition to the story.

Thank for you insightful comments.

Latina, Loved the B.O.R.I.N.G. tribute to Octavio as well as the Haiku. And your world-weary disgust at the inconsistencies, absurdities and contradictions in this plot and these characters.

For me, I only concentrated on one thing last night. How Well Daniel Contreras holds babies. Maricruz handed her off like she was a Cabbage Patch doll. But Octavio rounded his arm around the baby so there could be no slippage with the hand off and then continued to do a terrific job of interacting with and flat-out loving that little baby. Either he has a ton of nieces and nephews or he is just a natural with infants. But he's a pleasure to watch with that darling child.

For the rest, phooey. Tho' I could go for Vivi's wrap it up now scenario!

Whoops...Daniel Arenas. Talk about "slippage!"

LatinainMD---It was hard to get thru your scepticism and scarcasm but I must thank you for the recap anyway. Maybe it's best that I don't understand Spanish as I truly
enjoy the scenes and the story behind them.--- The goodby scene at the airport was pricless, maybe not the words that were spoken but the look in Oblivio's and Mari's eyes was Oscar worthy.

She has to return to Mexico, to the
place of her childhood, where she fell in love, then was abonded, Blah, Blah Blah. Blah, Blah, Blah NO!!! That was a touching, beautiful flashback memory scene which sets us up for the stories next phase.

Mari doesn't have to sell her ownership in the casino, Razia and Karim can run it in her absence.

Alegria---Octavio never said that he was sorry or begged for forgiveness----BUT HE WILL.

Daisynjay---I don't see a MC/Karim
in the future but I do like your idea of Mocativo in Doris' perfect hair. LOL

Carivivile---A wrap up?---NOOO0, 100 more episodes would be great.

I hope that Oblivio doesn't hook up with Simona but it looks like it's going to happen. Dumbass. Which leads me to the other dumbass
JA Dumbass. Looks like Ester is going to straighten him out. GO ESTER!! Realengo needs someone with
foresight and determination. Go girl! I can't wait to see if she teams up with Maricruz to help the local people.

I'm not sure about the EWWsebio twin, I was thinking that it was EWWsebio's ghost/spirit. Why didn't he look up? Can't wait for tonight.

Oh, gringo, I admire your optimism. I have none left, and at one time I had as much optimism as you, maybe even more. The ironic thing is that just about everyone criticizes the monkey writers' lack of creativity. I, on the other hand, was perfectly happy when they simply copied and pasted past versions. It's when the writers decided to get "creative" that they completely ruined C.I. for me. sigh.

thanks, Latina. OMG...Just what we needed ..Twin Ewwwsebio. I could not figure out why they killed off Eww who seemed to be a key character since he attacked Solita and burned down the shack. When he appeared, I was wondering if Oblivio was having a vision. let's see where this new development goes....can't imagine. Is the Twin the one who was actually killed , and is this guy really Ewwwy ?

If it really is Eww's twin , and he wants revenge, he may play at being Ewww's ghost and haunt someone.... meh .

OK so he's Ewwsebio's twin. But the writers missed an opportunity by not having the real E return. Why ? The murder charge against Miguel would be dropped and he could return to paradise. I can see them all living with Octavio and Simona's ranch.
There's going to be some major head butting between Maricruz and Simona over Octavio.
Daniel Arenas should win an award for his interaction with Lupita; the little girl just can't get enough of him, much to MA/MC's dismay -- she wants a part of him too.

Loved the recap.
Vivi - Great plot line. 'Twinsebio' - too funny.
Alegria - You are so right about Simona's smile. I guess she couldn't stay a likeable character. After all she learned from the best, her BFF Lucia.
Gringo - I'm with you - I totally enjoyed the airport scene.Lots of unspoken words.
Maybe now, with the appearance of Twinsebio, there was no murder. Miguel can come back and bribe him to pretend to be the original Ewwwsebio. The writers have to have the whole gang together somewhere.

And one more thing. I cant see Octavio and Simona together. She looks like his older sister. And he acts like she is his older sister.
Daniel looks younger then he is in real life. And his style in novela makes him look younger. Isadora looks good for her age, but she older then Daniel and with this new image she looks more beautiful and more older.
And I really don't like pairs, where the man is younger. And it's obvious, that he is younger. In Marimar Inocencia aka Simona looks ok for Sergio.
Alegria

Latina, thanks so much for this recap. Your asides were hilarious as was the haiku!! Glad you have the patience to give us the 411 on these nuts.

Vivi - I loved your plot. So many bodies and useless characters done away with so efficiently. I wish you wrote TNs or at least gave the writers notes so they could write better.

It just occurred to me how Juanita (and Solita) is so lucky, she wears sneaks and even gets to eat whatever she wants for lunch because there is always a sweater tied around her waist. And still she looks just as beautiful as the divas.

Teo Angel buying Mari's half would be neat, but as Angel he is also Karim's assistant. So would he have to put the prosthetic makeup on for the sale?

If Dumtavio is continually considering marrying women for money, does it not occur to him just to flatter Mari and all she has could be his? It would be more satisfying if she lost everything first, and then he got on his knees to beg her forgiveness, because while she has money, I would never trust him if I were her.

Whether it is EWWsebio's twin or his ghost/spirit, it looks like the
Narvaez' are in for a rough time ahead. Well, at least Oblivio, I don't know if Miguel will come back

Can't wait to see what Lucifer may be up to. I hope that she doesn't trash the house when she comes to pick up her things. Where is she going to put her things? In storage

Ester and Maricruz working together to better the lives of the people of Realengo???

What is to become of crazy Doris? Ship her Houston. Let Carlos deal with her.

Please Mari, Don't sell the casino. It's a good steady stream of income.
the gringo

Gringo- Remember, this is just one of many casinos, and not even the most profitable. Don Ale mentioned this. It was more about the sentimental value because this was his first casino. Since the Police Chief is threatening to just seize the casino outright, Mari has been scared into just selling it before she is expelled and robbed by the government of Isla Dorada. She really should have verified with the Gov first if he’s really behind this, before jumping to sell her shares.

No twins in QBA, what's up with that?

Twins in CME too.

Cathyx-Baby twins don't count, unless you mean the lie about Renata and Roberta being twins.

Does Milamores's lookalike long lost dad (played by the same actor) count in QBA?

I wondered why Ewseubio went to the hospital rather than dying in the outback. That makes a comeback about inevitable.

Thanks Latina. Title is aptly haiku-ed.
Vivi, bloody hell good packaged story.
I like the Lupita flirting with the dad.
What can I say about the wishy-wsshy Oblivio.
I'm having nightmares over Ewwsebio's return if indeed he is not "The Other".
Alegria, you're so accurate with the saintly Simona. I was wondering why should she be called a saint when she did nothing to help or support MC then and clearly she was one of them who would readily mock and look down on MC. All she wanted was Oblivio and for me she can have him.
