La Tempestad Cap #32. September 10th 2013. The return of the WET WHITE PANTS! Alternative Title: Too Much Happiness Can't Be Good In A TN That Isn't About To End!
Boy, what an episode! Ok, let's skip the rehash and get to the new stuff....
Mayuya, the venomous snake, can't keep her venom inside any longer. She marches on over to where Familia Reverte, Jose, and Hernan are sitting at and yells at Marina that she's a hypocrite! Marina, our lovely heroine, isn't about to take crap from a venomous snake like Mayuya. She gets up and and yells at Mayuya "What did you just call me?". Mayuya lunges at Marina (and is very subtly held back by a smitten and dare I say it a very foolish Lolo) and calls Marina a hypocrite again. Padre whose sermon was interrupted walks on over to where the all commotion is happening and tells Mayuya to show more respect for God's house. "But this whore (fulana) showed no respect for Esthercita's feelings. Let everyone in town know that this woman is to blame for Esthercita's death. She killed her. She killed Esthercita" yells Mayuya. Reactions all around!
Back at church, Mayuya continues her accusations against Marina. Bea tells Mayuya to shut it already. How dare she accuse her daughter? "Your daughter made Esthercita's life a living hell. She got in between her marriage and took her DamFabHubby" yells Mayuya. Padre has had it and asks Mayuya to leave. But the venomous snake won't leave. She yells that she's only telling the truth. Hernan comes to Marina's defense and says that Mayuya is accusing, judging, and condemning Marina in God's house. With what right does she talk? Tia Rebeca comes to Marina's defense and says that things did not happen the way Mayuya says and to not talk about what she does not know. "DamFab told Esthercita that they would divorce on their return from their honeymoon because he would go with Marina. Surely, Esthercita lost it and she blew up the sailboat." says Mayuya. Mayuya yells that Esthercita killed herself because of Marina. Hernan has had it. He gets all up in the snake's face and tells her that she's accusing Marina without knowing. He tells her that he is getting tired of her hysterics (and so are we). "Let's get out of here" says Hernan. Familia Reverte, Hernan, Jose, and Olinto leave. Mayuya is taken back to her seat but the snake isn't done spewing her venom. She runs out of the church and everyone follows. Throughout all of this Fulgencio was sitting at his seat and keeping a low profile. Now he too follows the crowd as they follow the snake. Padre follows as well. Outside the church, Marina and Rebeca are leading Bea out of the church. Bea is short of breath and looks like she is about to pass out at any moment. The snake continues to spew her venom and accuses Marina of rolling around in the hay with DamFab with no remorse. Hernan tells the snake that Marina has nothing to do with DamFab because they are engaged and about to get married (Ha! In your dreams, buddy. And maybe not even there) DamFab finally shows up and says "What did you just say?" Marina calls DamFab mi amor and she runs on over to him and wraps her arms around him. Not really a smart thing to do since you are being accused of sleeping with DamFab, Marina. "Thank goodness you were not present mi amor. All that happened inside was horrible" says Marina. DamFab is pissed off and he tells everyone that no one has any right to accuse Marina especially Delfina who knows very well that they found explosives on the sailboat. "Someone tried to kill us. That is the truth!" says DamFab. DamFab now gets all up on Hernan's face and asks him where the heck did he get that he and Marina were going to get married. Hernan tells DamFab to calm down. That he was only trying to change the subject. It was the first thing that came to mind. DamFab tells Hernan to go and look for something else that comes to mind because lies don't help. They only make you sink further down. Hernan smirks and tells DamFab that it was all in good intention. DamFab tells Hernan that he isn't interested in his intentions. He is interested, however, in Hernan not getting near his mujer. DamFab wants Hernan to keep his distance from now on. Do you understand? he asks Hernan. Hernan says that he does understand but DamFab will have to explain how they are going to do that since Marina and him are associates now at the packing plant. Just then, Bea is about to pass out. DamFab runs over and holds her along with Marina. Jose runs off to go and get the doctor. Marina and DamFab take Bea into the church so she can rest while the doctor gets there. Hernan laughs in his mind and thoughtbubbles that Bea must be faking a crisis. Padre scolds Mayuya and tells her "look what you just caused." Delfina tells Padre that it won't happen again and drags Mayuya who doesn't want to leave away. DamFab asks Bea to let him help her. Bea tells DamFab that he's done enough with causing the whole town to badmouth Marina. Marina takes Bea inside the church. Hernan is about to go inside the church too but DamFab stops him. He tells Hernan that they have a lot to talk about. Hernan isn't impressed with DamFab's macho attitude. But DamFab isn't trying to impress him with his macho attitude. DamFab only wants Hernan to leave his mujer alone. "Can't you comprehend that you can't beg for true love you have to win it? Even if it pains you, I have won Marina's love." says DamFab. "I can give Marina everything." says Hernan. "Thats what happens with people without brains, they think they can solve everything with money. With Marina you are mistaken. I may be a poor fishermen but unfortunately for you, I'm the man that Marina prefers." says DamFab. Just then, Marina comes out of the church and tells DamFab that Bea wants to speak to him. Before going inside church, DamFab once again asks Hernan to keep his distance from his mujer. DamFab goes inside church.

DamFab is a just a few blocks away from church. He stops to thoughtbubble what a blessing it is to be alive although what happened to Esthercita hurts him. He then continues on his way to church.

Inside, Bea asks DamFab to sit down next to her. She has to ask him a favor. Padre watches the two conversing from afar and goes inside another room. Bea tells DamFab that she's dying. She tells him that she has a tumor in her lung that can't be operated on and that she's getting worse. She tells him that she's worried about her daughter's future when she dies. DamFab says that his intentions have always been to protect Marina. He swears that it will always be that way. That isn't enough for Bea. That's why she is going to ask him, there in front of God, to leave Marina. DamFab is impactdo. Huh? he says. Bea wants DamFab to understand her anguish. All she wants is Marina's happiness. She says that Marina needs a man that will protect her, get her out of R-Laydee, and give her the life that she's used to, and (of course) that man is Hernan (so much for wanting Marina's happiness. When will this woman get that DamFab is Marina's happiness and not Hernan?). Bea wants DamFab to promise that he'll leave Marina. "Make this promise to a mother that doesn't have much hope of living." says Bea. DamFab can't promise her this. DamFab can't give up on Marina so she can marry another man. He can't and he won't. Go DamFab! Bea isn't giving up. She insists that he make the promise. She wouldn't ask her this if it weren't for Marina's own good. "If you really loved her then you should make a sacrifice and give her up." says Bea. (And if you really love your daughter then you would understand that DamFab is Marina's happiness and you would get over whatever it is that you have against DamFab and accept their relationship. Seriously, the man just helped you when you were about to pass out. Ugh! Bea really annoys me) DamFab says that what Bea is asking him is to take his life, to stop breathing, to destroy his illusions. He says that he loves Marina like you only love once in your life. He says that because he loves Marina he won't leave her. Bea thinks DamFab is being selfish (and I think Bea is the one being selfish) DamFab says he isn't being selfish. He says that he knows that Bea doesn't accept his relationship with Marina because he's a simple fisherman and she sees Hernan like a big man but he finds it hard to believe that she's more interested in money than in the love that he feels for Marina. Bea says that of course she's not a golddigger. "But things being like they are, with all those woman confronting and insulting her daughter because of him. What life will await Marina? Who is going to defend Marina when you go fishing?" says Bea. DamFab says that he'll protect her. He asks her to trust him. He would defend Marina with his life if necessary. He would never let anyone hurt Marina. Bea wants DamFab to understand that the adequate man for Marina is Hernan (and I want you to understand and that the man that Marina LOVES is DamFab).
Outside, Marina paces around. Hernan asks her if she's worried because DamFab and Bea are talking inside the church. He could go inside and....Marina interrupts him and tells him to not go inside. She wants them talk. She is worried that Bea will get agitated and that the conversation will affect her mother's health. She wonders where the doctor is.

Back inside, DamFab asks Bea if she has considered her daughter's feelings. (Bea has most definitely not considered her daughter's feelings) DamFab says that Marina loves him and chose this simple fishermen and not that big man that is outside. DamFab says that Marina will never be happy next to a man that she does not love. Bea says that she has nothing against DamFab (it sure seems like she does though) and acknowledges that he's a great man but Marina is used to other things. "What will happen if after some time Marina realizes that she made a big mistake in choosing you?" she asks (And what will happen if it turns out that choosing Hernan is the bigger mistake. Have you thought about that Bea?) DamFab says that Marina is a woman of her word just like he's a man of his word. When Marina decides something it is because she has no doubts and she trusts him. He's incapable of disappointing her. He doesn't know how to explain and tell her that he's sure that he is the only man that can make Marina happy. Bea says that you don't only need love in a relationship (but love is essential and without it the relationship has no future) DamFab holds Bea's hands and asks her for an opportunity to get to know him so she can realize that he deserves to have Marina's love and that he'll never disappoint Marina. DamFab and Bea by now have tears on their faces. DamFab asks her for this opportunity in the name of the love that he feels for Marina.
Mexico City
At the night club, Mercedes hums a tune and remembers her encounter with Magdalena. She receives a phone call from Ernesto, who is by the pool and having a good time getting suntan lotion rubbed on his back by HadaEster. Ernesto is sarcastic with Mercedes and tells her how happy he is to being hearing her voice again. He asks her if she remembers him and and asks her to not hurt him by telling him that she does not know who he is. She tells him that only dead would she forget his voice and calls him maldito. She tells him that soon he will pay for all the harm he has caused her and she foolishy tells him that she's close to recovering Magdalena. He tells her that he hopes that she does recover Magdalena but he doubts it. Maybe she'll just recover what is left of Magdalena. He tells her that Magdalena is not her daughter anymore and says that Magdalena is not a person but a rabid animal. Mercedes tells him to STFU and tells him that it is all his fault. Ernesto says that he called her to tell her that he has being doing more business and has made more money so her plans of ruining him are ruined. She hangs up. Ernesto laughs.
At some bar, Doll drinks while Magdalena is quiet and pensive. Magdalena can't forget the words of that woman (Mercedes). Magdalena wonders if she has a mother that is looking for her. Doll thinks that perhaps the woman wanted to take her to work for someone like El Papacito. Magdalena wonders then why did that woman yell at her that she was Magdalena and that she was her daughter.
Back at R-Laydee
Doc Suspenders finally arrives and he's sporting his suspenders. Marina and Doc Suspenders talk a little about Bea's tumor not being malignant but that it is in a place where it can't be operated one and thats why Bea is always short of breath because it is invading her lung. Marina wants Doc Suspenders to help her. Bea comes out of church and Marina asks her if she's still feeling bad. Bea says that she's alright. Bea asks Doc Suspenders to examine her at home. Marina asks Doc Suspenders what he thinks. Doc Suspenders sees no problem in examining Bea at her home and says that if he finds it necessary then he'll take her to the hospital. Tia Rebeca asks Jose to bring the car near the church. Jose does as told and notices the grin on Hernan's face as he walks past him. Jose thoughtbubbles "What is this bastard planning?" Hernan the ever so nice gentlemen (NOT) offers his help to take Bea to the car. Bea the fool thanks Hernan for being ever so sweet. Bea tells Marina that DamFab is waiting inside the church to talk to him. Marina wants to talk to him later because now what is most important is Bea's health. Bea insists that she talk with DamFab. Marina says that she will do what Bea asks. Olinto also notices the grin on Hernan's face and also thoughtbubbles and wonders what's up with Hernan. Marina tells Olinto that she won't be able to go to the packing plant. She gives him some instructions and asks him to keep her informed. Hernan chimes in and says that Olinto has to keep both of them informed since he's also an associate. Olinto says sure boss whatever you say. It is so good to know that Jose and Olinto aren't fools like Bea and Marina are when it comes to Hernan.
At Ernesto's place, Ernesto asks HadaEster if she really can't remember anything. EsterHada says that she really can't remember anything. Whenever she tries she gets a headache and thats why she tries not to remember. Thats why what she is living now is so confusing for her. Ernesto tells her to stay calm. There is no need for her to remember anything. He wants her to think that her life started again and that she was born to this new life the first day that he laid his creepy and perverted eyes on her. He tells her that she's his. She belongs to him. Pervert.

At church, DamFab prays and says that he finally comprehends Christ's pain. He says that everyone thinks suffering is exclusive to woman forgetting all the torture that Christ went through to save humankind. He says that he doesn't compare himself to Christ but he also suffers. He suffers from the fear of losing Marina. Marina walks up behind him. DamFab tells Marina that Bea asked her to leave her. Marina can't believe it. DamFab says that he does understand Bea since all Bea wants is the best for Marina. Marina says that DamFab is the best for her. Her mother has to understand it. He is the best for her. They kiss. DamFab tells Marina that he asked Bea for an opportunity to show her that he's the man that deserves her. Marina kisses him and tells him that she can't stop loving him. DamFab tells Marina that he will fight. He will do what is necessary to show everyone that they are mistaken at condemning them.
At Bea's place, Hernan congratulates Bea on her debut as an actress. It was so real that he actually thought that she was sick. Ummm, she was really sick, dude. Bea assures Hernan that she was not faking. She really did get sick from the anguish of seeing those women attacking Marina. "Really? It was not all an act?" asks Hernan. Bea reminds him that she had told him that she refused to emotionally blackmail Marina and she wouldn't do that in God's house. She assures him that everything that happened was all real. Hernan wants to know what she talked to DamFab about. Bea tells Hernan that DamFab asked for an opportunity to show that he is man enough to take care of Marina. Bea tells Hernan that she will give DamFab that opportunity.
Back at church, DamFab wants to swear in front of God that he is going to love Marina, that he is going to respect her, that he is going to be faithful to her all his life, aside from protecting her from any threat. He swears in front of God that she will be in his heart for the rest of his life and that only death will separate them. Marina also swears in front of God that she will love him, respect him, and be faithful to him for the rest of her life without the good and bad moments they have to go through mattering. What only matters is that they are together. DamFab says that he knows that this isn't a wedding or anything like that but they sweared this on their own free will. DamFab asks God to bless them, to bless their love. Marina tells DamFab that he is the most DamFab thing that has ever happened to her. They kiss. He promises her that as soon as all this scandal having to do with Esthercita ends and people understand that they had no fault in her death he will come and ask Padre to marry them. Marina says that it will be the happiest day of her life. The two lovebirds share a sweet hug.
Back at Bea's place, Hernan tells Bea that DamFab will never separate from Marina. Bea says that DamFab told her something that made her think - that Marina's heart chose DamFab and not Hernan. She says that DamFab must have virtues that she is not aware of. And he most certainly does. Just Google William Levy. Bea the fool still thinks that Hernan is the best candidate for Marina. Hernan asks Bea then why does she not follow her instinct. "Aren't I your better option? Then disapprove of that relationship!" he says (and it he said it in a way as if he were demanding it) This should be another red flag for Bea but she's too blind to realize it. Bea says that she can't make Marina stop loving DamFab. She only has hope that with time Marina realizes that DamFab is not the man that is convenient for her. That is all that she can do. Hernan says fine I understand. He only hopes that when Bea realizes her mistake it won't be too late. He excuses himself and leaves. In the hallway, Hernan thoughtbubbles that he can't believe it and says that he will have to find someone else to work for him.
Wherever Ernesto's place is at
And that someone may be HadaEster who we see in the next scene. She is looking into the pool and having blurry flashbacks of being on the sailboat with DamFab and DamFab diving into the water. Macario of the bad wig shows up and asks her what's wrong. Did a memory come to her? He takes his handkerchief out and cleans his jacket. He says that he hates the filth of ordinary people and people that yell. Thats why he likes HadaEster -because she's quiet.
Back in R-Laydeee
Robles with an arm sling tells his men that they need to keep an eye on Fulgencio. He finds it strange that one of Fulgencio's goons err men have something to do with Nereo. One of the cops finds Robles' accident to be strange. He wonders if someone tried to kill Robles. Robles thought the same and checked the truck but found nothing strange. He says that perhaps the breaks from the tire got loose because of how uneven the streets are in town. He says that what now matters is that he discovered that there is a relationship between Fulgencio and the white slavery. They have to discover how involved Fulgencio is in all of this.
In Hernan's pad, Fulgencio is enjoying a drink and sitting on Hernan's couch. Hernan arrives and wants to know what Fulgencio's doing in his home. Fulgencio wants to know what Hernan hoped to achieve with that stupid scene in front of church where he said that he was going to marry Marina Reverte in front of the whole town. Hernan laughs and says that he is going to marry Marina Reverte (Keep dreaming, buddy!) but he doesn't know when but it will happen. Fulgencio says that with that insistence all he did was ridicule himself and put their plans at risk. Fulgencio says that Hernan became an associate of the packing plant to take over it and as of now he has not seen him do anything. Hernan asks him what he expects him to do with a company that is recovering after a fire. "A fire that you caused and that did not work just like all your stupid plans." says Fulgencio. Hernan reminds him that he is the only one that has done agains the packing plant and against DamFab. "And what have you done, Fulgencio? Nothing." says Hernan. Fulgencio says that if he has not gotten involved it is because he trusted Hernan and that was a big mistake. Hernan asks Fulgencio to take care of their business and leave the packing plant, DamFab, and especially Marina to him.
At Bea's house, Marina is with Bea. Marina is happy that Bea didn't have to go to the hospital because that means that she's doing alright. Bea wants to know what she talked to DamFab about. Marina says that she told DamFab that she loves him and he told her that she (Bea) decided to give him time to show her (Bea) that he deserves her and for her (Bea) to realize that he is the man of her (Marina's) life. Bea knows that this is difficult for Marina. But having accepted to give DamFab time will give her the chance to realize if she is mistaken or not about DamFab. Marina tells Bea that she will soon realize what a great man DamFab is. Bea only cares that DamFab will keep his word about protecting Marina. Bea tells Marina that she's not ok with the relationship but she can't blind herself - she knows how important DamFab is to Marina. Bea just hopes that DamFab never disappoints Marina. Marina tells Bea not to worry because that will never happen.
At Eusebia's place, Eusebia scolds DamFab a little for having escaped because he left her worried. DamFab is packing a bag with some clothes. DamFab says he has never felt so happy. He has never had that happiness in his life. Eusebia says that she knew that love would come soon for DamFab. DamFab says that Bea does not trust him that much but he will show her that he is the man that Marina deserves. "The strength of love is strong but the strength of hate is also strong and those two strengths confronting each other can cause an unbalance in happiness and cause harm." says Eusebia. DamFab tells Eusebia not to worry about him. He knows how to take care of himself like she and his father taught him. In moments likes this DamFab wishes that his father could be with him so he can share his happiness with him. Eusebia says that Michel never left his side and he will never leave while he stays present in DamFab's mind and heart. DamFab says that is how it is and how he has always felt his father - so close to him. "He is a anima santa that surrounds you with the permission of God. His essence is still found in those that love him. Thanks to you that always invokes him in your necessities and you ask him for advice, Michel Fabre is still a living memory." says Eusebia. DamFab says that his father was a great man and a role model for him. Thats why it hurts him to have lost his father's Captain's hat. Eusebia lifts up her arms and says "I'm the open door that no mortal can close. The light of God surrounds you and the power of God is wrapped around you and the presence of God watches out for you and wherever we are God is. Let your soul never lose hope because then it will die. Always keep present that miracles exists".
At the packing plant, Hernan stops by and asks Olinto about Marina. Olinto tells Hernan that Marina will be spending the afternoon on La Tempestad. Hernan gets all pissed off and slams his hand on the desk. He yells at Olinto and asks why no one informed him that today was a fishing day. He yells at Olinto to get through his head that he's an associate of the packing plant. Olinto gets nervous and a little scared and says that Marina isn't going on La Tempestad on business and thats why...Hernan interrupts and says "Don't tell me that she went for a stroll with that imbecile of DamFab?" Hernan wants Olinto to reach Marina on the phone which Olinto does but just then Hernan's phone rings and Hernan asks Olinto to reach Marina on the phone later. Hernan goes out to receive the phone call and slams the door on his way out. Olinto says that there has never been so much screaming at the packing plant before. He is sure that Hernan will continue to be yelling at him and giving him orders. Poor Olinto. I pity him for having Hernan as a boss.

At La Tempestad, DamFab and Marina wearing a beautiful yellow dress arrive. He asks Marina if she's ready to aboard La Tempestad and spend an afternoon together. Marina says that she's ready and she is sure that DamFab will make sure that she have an unforgettable afternoon. Marina tells DamFab that she and his crew have a surprise for him. We see the crew running over towards them. Some have instruments in hand.
Out in the corridor of Neptuno, Hernan talks to Ernesto on the phone. Ernesto wants to see Hernan in his country home before he returns to his home in the capital. Ernesto wants to see him today. He's awaiting some clients and it is important that Hernan be present. Hernan asks if it has to be today. Ernesto is like since when do you disobey my orders. Didn't you hear me? Hernan says fine I'll be there. He hangs up and says "while DamFab spends time with Marina". Ha!
Back at La Tempestad, DamFab tells the crew that he won't let them come with them. After all the two lovebirds want to be alone. Lagarto says they have no intention of coming along on their trip. Lolo says they are there for another reason. The cook says that it is something that will make him happy. Bagre says that DamFab is the soul of La Tempestad and without him the ship would not have direction and there can't be a captain without his hat. Bagre hands Michel's captain's hat to DamFab. DamFab is happy to see the captain's hat. Marina tells DamFab that they found it along with the remains of the sailboat when they went looking for him and the crew were keeping it for this special moment when he got back on the ship for the first time after the accident. Bagre says that DamFab is the captain again. He was the captain while DamFab came back and he gives him the Captain position back. The crew says a cheer for DamFab. DamFab and Marina kiss. DamFab thanks the crew and says that he loves them like brothers. Marina says that the crew love him like a brother too and thats why they had this surprise for him. DamFab asks the crew for help with untying the boat so Marina and DamFab could set sail on their love trip.

Mexico City
Magdalena tells Doll that she doesn't want to be a street hooker. Doll tells Magdalena that she should decide to be a street hooker and shoves her. Doll calls Magdalena mugrosa again and Magdalena reminds her that her name is Magdalena. Magdalena turns around and sees a photo of Mercedes. Magdalena shows Doll the photo and says that it is the woman that followed her saying that she was her mother. Doll sees the photo and says that she knows who the woman in the photo is. The the guy at the newsstand doesn't want some hookers touching the newspaper. You can look but don't touch! Magdalena asks her if she knows that woman. Doll says yes, she is the owner of the place I worked, when I wanted to change my ways. Doll sees dollar signs and says that if Mercedes thinks that Magdalena is her daughter then they can get a lot of money out of her.

Back in R-Laydee
On La Tempestad, DamFab has his many muscular arms around Marina. He prays and thanks La Virgencita for having saved his life and for allowing him to return to his loved ones. Marina also prays and thanks La Virgencita that DamFab returned alright. She thanks the Virgencita for all her blessings and asks the Virgencita to never abandon them. DamFab leaves his father's Captain hat at the foot of the Virgencita.
At Hernan's pad, Hernan like always is behaving like an ass. One of his employees walks up to him and tells him that he has a call from Valdivia. But Hernan doesn't want to be bothered. He yells at the employee that he told him that he did not want to be bothered and tells the employee to get lost and to make his suitcase because he's going away for a few days. Note to employee: Don't pack any underwear for Hernan. That'll teach him. Hernan is all pissed off and he throws his glass as far as he can.

Back on La Tempestad, our two lovebirds are having another sweet moment. DamFab has his manly muscular arm wrapped around Marina. Marina loves the sensation of the wind in her face. Its like the wind takes away all the problems. DamFab kisses Marina on the cheek. DamFab says thats why he will never stop sailing. In the ocean is his life and in the ocean could have also been his death. He loves the ocean but also respects it. It can sustain you but then become your enemy. This makes Marina think how vulnerable they are to mother nature. Marina then thanks DamFab for having saved her from the fire at the packing plant. DamFab says that what matters is that they are together and they are starting a new life. A new life that promises lots of happiness together. DamFab says that at the moment he is like he has always wanted to be - next to the woman he loves and in the middle of the ocean. Marina asks if that admiration that he has for the sea is in his veins. DamFab says that he has it in all his soul. His father taught him to love the sea and to respect it but also to be afraid of it when its fury attacks. "Do you know that you are like the sea?" he asks her. "It makes me vibrate, it make me feel alive, it makes me feel my blood running through my veins next to my heartbeats" says DamFab. Marina tells DamFab that she loves him so much. More kissing. He tells her that even though life has been hard for him he has never given up and he never will. Now that he knows what love is he comprehends that life is worth living. More kissing from our two lovebirds.
Back at Hernan's pad, Hernan thoughtbubbles that surely Marina and DamFab are DamHappy together. Well, let them enjoy it because it won't last long. Oh no!
In the middle of the sea, Marina and DamFab are on a small boat. Marina is still in her yellow dress and DamFab is DamShirtless and showing off his bare chest and yes he's wearing WHITE PANTS.
They make it shore. They walk on shore and DamFab carries a basket full of fruit. They kiss some more.
Next we see DamFab walking along the beach carrying Marina. Marina has now lost the yellow dress and is in her pink bathing suit. They frolic and they kiss.
They get into the water a little and yes DamFab is now wearing WET WHITE PANTS. DamFab and Marina kiss again. Marina is happy that they came on this trip. They needed to get their heads distracted from all the problems. DamFab doesn't want Marina to talk about problems. He just wants pure happiness right now. He wants beautiful things just like her. He presses her against his manly body and bare chest and and they kiss some more. He asks her if she wants to eat. She is hungry but first she wants to go into the water. They get into the water and kiss some more and they play around in the water.
They kiss passionately while in the water. I guess Marina wanted dessert first. Their theme song plays in the background.
Now they are on shore and still kissing passionately. They slowly lay down onto a blanket that has conveniently been place on the sand. They still kiss passionately. It looks like they are about to make love. But rats the episode ends!
Cap'n Sylvia will tell us what happens next...
Avances: Narrator says that DamFab and Marina will have an unforgettable night. We see more kissing from DamFab and Marina in the love cave and yes I think there will be more then kissing. Delfina tells Fulgencio that she'll never stop throwing in his face that Esthercita died because of his fault. Ernesto introduces Hernan to his mujer, EsterHada and of course Hernan recognizes her. Someone shows up at Casa Salazar and Delfina calls out Esthercita's name. MUST SEE TV EVERYONE!

Herny's hissy fits are becoming more public knowledge especially after he chewed out poor Olinto! I hope Olinto tells Marina all about that! I also loved the aside about not packing Herny's undies, lol.
I really liked Marina's bathing suit. That was a nice one piece and the color was fab. I so enjoyed their little picnic. Dam Delicious looks so Dam Delectable I must say!

Oh Mauricio. What a DamFab recap. The pictures were amazing. Truly. Though they were all spectacular (particularly Dam and Marina on the beach kissing)- the one of "venomous snake" Mayuya looking as though she just swallowed a large, bitter lemon was fantastic.

Reminds me of a strategy that college team assistents use if the basketball players treat them badly. They just put their UNWASHED uniforms in the dryer and then give them back with every one else's clean laundry. Next time, the player is unfailingly more courteous. Don't think it would work that way with Hernán however. Poor guy would just get fired.
Watching this episode, I finally understood why the writers usually delay the happy ending for so long. Our favorite couple was, alas, Damboring with all their endless I love you's, I'll always protect you's, smooch smooches.
Maybe when they reach criterion behavior tonight it will be a little bit better. But sorry to say, the romance had me nodding off.

Yes, Vivi, the music did skip. So they clearly eliminated something. Maybe if I'd seen it, I wouldn't have been so bored!
Up to now, Hernan has been smart in his actions around Bea and Marina. But uttering that inane "we're getting married" bit in the middle of a crowd, plus that insane-looking grin of his when everybody else is looking worried or concerned, is just plain stupid. He's losing his grip on his control and (smart) people are noticing. Jose will definitely remember how inappropriate Creepy was on this occasion, should another incident happen. He'll be quick to put two and two together. Not sure Olinto would, but you never know. At the very least, he (Olinto) is suspicious and definitely doesn't like Hernan. I don't think Bea will doubt him yet, although his outburst at her for not going along with his scheme somewhat surprised her (not enough to make her suspicious, though).

Some surprises for me were Damián refusing to budge an inch with Beatriz pleading for him to honor a dying mother's request right there in front of God. And good for Beatriz for not joining up with Hernán in his evil plot. Hey, she gave it her best shot but she will not resort to lying and deceit.
And Wow, one guy (of course a very special guy) can drive that big boat all by himself? I'm impressed.

Perfect timing!! I needed a break this afternoon and this was wonderful Mauricio. Fun episode though I really could do without another Mayu outburst for like...weeks. Gees, snake is too kind a word for her.

I'm taking a little time off from the Great Prison Breakout on QBA to muse a bit over Bea--again. One of her main reasons for favoring Hernan, or so she says, is that Marina is used to a different (and she meant higher) standard of living/lifestyle, city girl vs. fishing village matron and used to finer things. She wonders what will happen to Marina after she's gone without a man (she means a rich man) to care for her.
Excuse me, but the two of them have been living fairly decently on Marina's earnings and whatever Ariel left them. Wouldn't this be part of her estate, to be passed on to Marina? (Of course we know that Mercedes if FAR wealthier than Bea could ever dream to be.) Still, why would Marina immediately be impoverished, upon Bea expiring, in accepting the love of an exciting (well, JudyB, maybe not last night), manly man like DamFabMan and share her wealth with him.
Also, if they do marry, it is very customary for marriages to start with bienes separados, if Bea is truly worried about Damian mooching off his wife.
I did notice that she changed her tune a bit before deciding to give DamDelicious a chance--she's worried about Marina's safety and needing a man to protect her. DamN, for that she could hire a bodyguard (Big A anyone, or Guzmi?) during the time DamFab is out fishing. No husband is expected to offer protection 24/7 under any circumstances. For one thing, the pair would soon get sick of each other and end up quibbling over which end to squeeze the toothpaste from.
I see anvils coming in the person of Hada/E. and Herny. If Esthercita returns to the NSDM and regains her memory, she's going to be pithed at the Padre for annulling their marriage so quickly. Somehow I think Mayuya will be grazed by an Esthercita-flung anvil, too.
So far, I'm enjoying all the hijinxs in this tn without it getting really maudlin (like CI--sorry fans, I just don't get it..enough with the Venganza Monologues).

One of her main reasons for favoring Hernan, or so she says, is that Marina is used to a different (and she meant higher) standard of living/lifestyle, city girl vs. fishing village matron and used to finer things. She wonders what will happen to Marina after she's gone without a man (she means a rich man) to care for her.
Excuse me, but the two of them have been living fairly decently on Marina's earnings and whatever Ariel left them. Wouldn't this be part of her estate, to be passed on to Marina? (Of course we know that Mercedes if FAR wealthier than Bea could ever dream to be.) Still, why would Marina immediately be impoverished, upon Bea expiring, in accepting the love of an exciting (well, JudyB, maybe not last night), manly man like DamFabMan and share her wealth with him.
Also, if they do marry, it is very customary for marriages to start with bienes separados, if Bea is truly worried about Damian mooching off his wife.
I did notice that she changed her tune a bit before deciding to give DamDelicious a chance--she's worried about Marina's safety and needing a man to protect her. DamN, for that she could hire a bodyguard (Big A anyone, or Guzmi?) during the time DamFab is out fishing. No husband is expected to offer protection 24/7 under any circumstances. For one thing, the pair would soon get sick of each other and end up quibbling over which end to squeeze the toothpaste from.
I see anvils coming in the person of Hada/E. and Herny. If Esthercita returns to the NSDM and regains her memory, she's going to be pithed at the Padre for annulling their marriage so quickly. Somehow I think Mayuya will be grazed by an Esthercita-flung anvil, too.
So far, I'm enjoying all the hijinxs in this tn without it getting really maudlin (like CI--sorry fans, I just don't get it..enough with the Venganza Monologues).
Katy--You were posting while I was still thinking, re the annullment. I would think it's valid, Padre put the papers in before the accident.
Marina and Dam need a secondary love theme. I like "Hoy Tengo Ganas de Ti", but getting tired of only hearing that. They need a second song to play during the ordinary kissing moments, and save "Hoy" for their really big moments. In AB we knew when we heard Don Vicente it was a really important scene.
So Beatriz says she's not talking about money, but rather of protection for her daughter when she (Bea) is gone. Excuse me? What kind of protection are you providing her right now? And (if she's not referring to $$$) does she think that big, studly Damian with his manly muscular arms will offer LESS protection than skinny, smarmy, weeny Hernan? Woman, get a clue!

I don't even think Bea knows what she wants or means. She's not looking long-term, even though she says she's thinking of the future. What she sees in that right now the whole town hates Marina and is speaking badly of her (calling her a slutty husband stealer), and in her mind Damian is the reason for that. She doesn't want Marina to even experience the pain of a hangnail, much less the pain of being the talk of the town. She wants Marina away from the pain-- meaning away from Damian and away from that town. Hernan can help achieve both those goals. She’s not put much effort in thinking beyond that about who Marina loves (Damian not Hernan), or if Hernan would actually be a good partner for Marina in the long-run.

Vivi...I'm with you. We've heard Hoy Tengo Ganas de Ti so much we're ready to scream. Para Soñar (sometimes played in the closing credits) is a beautiful duet and would do quite well as an alternate love theme.
I'm quite happy with Tia Becky and José's love theme (Mi Almohada de JoséJosé) but we're sure not hearing THAT ONE very often, more's the pity.

Good of DamFab for not having given into the emotional blackmail. The writers could have very well gone that route. I'm so glad they did not.
The beach scenes with DamFab and Marina were amazing. I enjoyed them. I hope that we get more happy time with our two lovebirds before the sure to happen suffering time begins.

Good for Beatriz, standing up to Hernan's pressure. I was proud of her. Did anyone else notice that scary screeching "eee eee eee" Alfred-Hitchcock's-"Psycho"-type music playing when Hernan was leading Bea by the arm out of the church?! Very scary and appropriate - because he's evil and also plays violin. ALSO, I am relieved that Damian was honest with Marina about what Bea had asked him to do. None of that hiding secrets crap.

I also want to mention some other things. I liked the single tear that fell from Magdalena's eye when she was talking to Muneca in the bar. Very subtle. And I liked how they split the screen during the phone call between Ernesto and Mercedes. They obviously had some fun with it. Lastly, I noticed Hernan wiping away Bea's tears as he lead her away from the church. It was very touching - no wonder she's entranced by him!!!
