CI: Octavio’s Golden Goose May Get Cooked If Miguel Can’t Make Him See How Badly They Still Need Those Golden Eggs

Capítulo 111

Lo del Pasado:

Octavio storms out the hacienda door despite Salmona’s ordering him to stay put.

Lo del Nuevo:

Simona has to admit that her marriage has been a freakin’ failure.   Make that a Freakin’ Failure with a couple of capital F’s.  Miguel tries to cover for his brother’s brash behavior.  Baby Brother and he are close to getting the royal send off if he can’t finesse the situation. Salmona angrily says she refuses to overlook the latest of any number of Octavio’s humiliating insults [afrentas].  She’s certain, she says, that Octavio only married her so that he could be near Maricruz!!  Migui tries persuading her again with the idea of their leaving a while, taking that long cruise he mentioned…cuz he’s certain Maricruz will be evicted shortly and that she’ll be long gone before they return.

At the same time, Mr. Mining Company Big Shot tells Vargas that he absolutely refuses to throw all those people off the Narvaez land, let alone the woman he loves and who is certain will eventually fall in love with him. (As Hubby has always said, even the homeliest hombre thinks he’s a ripped Romeo.  This guy’s no exception.)  Big Shot’s job is on the line this time, but he’s not going to be the one responsible for evicting all those people, and especially not MC.  (How many men has Maricruz got drooling and madly in love with her by now, anyway?)

Back at Hacienda El Abuelo, Maricruz is still arguing with JA over the ick factor from his ridiculous marriage proposal; she still considers him only brother material.  JA shamelessly swears that he has no interest in Ester, and he can give his “ex” money towards the kid.  (Viewerville still wonders why MC hasn’t questioned him about how he’s come up with the kind of money that allows him to walk out on dumpy Ester, offer her alimony and the kid child support and still be able to give MC and Lupita the life to which they’ve all become accustomed—on a ranch foreman’s salary!!)  Maricruz cannot believe Ja would be so low down as to leave his wife and child like that!!  Her heart still belongs to Octavio Narvaez though she’s been turning him down ever since he proposed back on Isla Dorada. She gives JA a final “N.O.”  He tells her she may have done it out of pride before, and he’s not so sure she’d turn Octavio Narvaez down again.

Back at Salmona’s, it seems none of the crap Miguel’s been throwing at those gilt-edged, guilt-laden walls is sticking.  She says she knows what’s what, and saw the two of them making out the night she raced off on horseback and was thrown.  He tells her she’s probably guilty then of pushing Tav to it with her hostile attitude.  No!!!!  Can’t be! Besides, he started it!  He always starts it!  What was so antagonistic about bitchily toasting to Maricruz’s having forfeited her ranch to the Mexican government, right? (Riiiiiiiiiight!)  In the middle of this discussion, Salmona gets another head-splitting migraine.  Miguel yells for Ofelia to handle giving her the necessary injections while he rides over to Rancho El Abuelo to bring his brother back.

Tav has ridden? over to MC’s place and hastily offers her and Lupita his—or rather, Salmona’s--financial support if and when worse comes to worst. (He’s kidding, right?)  Maricruz tearfully tells him how she sold all the casinos and her house in Mexico to pay for the houses of all the people from Realengo.  She has a heart of gold, he tells her, and yadda, yadda, yadda.  He will not leave her and Lupita unprotected, either, no matter what!!  She says fageddabowdit cuz they both know she’s not about to accept a dime of Salmona’s fortuna--not to mention that we in Viewerville all know, i.e., that Salmona may have more than a thing or two to say about giving MC and mini-me a helping fingertip let alone a whole helping hand.  MC realizes that Salmona naturally wouldn’t part with peso numero uno for her, but Oblivio is nothing if not gallant with other people’s money, especially cuz he never seems to have any of his own.  But, MC at least agrees to let him provide for Lupita.  MC can handle poverty, but not where her mini-me is concerned.  He promises she won’t be forgotten or denied the same way MC’s daddy did to her.

At the same time, Solita is showing her still nameless little boy the lake and the woods.  Nazario walks up to ask her for directions to JA’s mini-manse not realizing that she’s a deaf mute.  Solita turns around, sees Twinesebio standing there and panics.  She races back with Boynonimo to the rancho.  She finds Santa who immediately assumes Perico has done something he shouldn’t have.  Perico later swears to Santa that he hasn’t seen Solita for a few days and wouldn’t harm a hair on her head.  But yeah, he stole a small kiss from her before.  He will pray for her. And, he really would like to go up to her room to keep her company.

On the way back, Dr. Migui now tells Tav he thinks Salmona’s migraines are a self-defense mechanism Simona’s body uses when she and he argue over things.  Miguel tries convincing Tav that by removing the object of their continual arguments—Maricruz—by taking that long overdue honeymoon trip, it will help smooth things over with his wife and she’ll naturally get better.  Tav again insists that a newborn baby is too young to take and says he’s totally uncomfortable with leaving him at the ranch while they’re off on some endless cruise.   A bit later the discussion still is in full swing.  “Women all have their foibles like jealousy” and you just have to accept them as they are, advises Miguel.  Tav isn’t convinced--and we all know he ain’t exaca-acally thrilled any longer at the thought of being on his own with Salmona for any extended period of time.  He observes to Miguel that his wife has finally shown the other side of her personality.  She’s not just jealous, she’s envious and downright mean [malintencionado=cruel, spiteful, catty, vindictive].  There’s more to life than the money and the comforts Salmona has to offer them, Tav contends.  Oh yeah, replies Migui?  “--Just asks those who haven’t anything, the people who are being evicted again.”

Once Tav returns to the ranch, he races upstairs to see how Salmona’s feeling.  Salmona says she’s fine now, but their marriage isn’t.  She’s decided, therefore, to give him that divorce he was dangling in front of her the day before.  It’s obvious he’s still in love with his ex, though he dutifully denies it.  Maricruz rejected him and more than once, he reminds her; and they have moved on in their relationship.  Salmona says that’s crap and she’s the one ready to move on.  The woman is constantly thinking of ways to get close to him and she’s got him right within reach! Right where she wants him!!  She’s sick and tire of his racing off to Maricruz’s side every time she turns around.  He subtly warns her to reconsider because half her fortuna is up for grabs, though he shouldn’t and wouldn’t ever fight with her over it.  (Uh, yeah.)  She tells him she’s made her decision and she’s not changing her mind.  “—We are getting a divorce and the sooner the better!!”  “--Ok.  Fine!”

Downstairs Ofelia informs Miguel that Sra. Simona’s been crying the whole time and has decided to divorce Octavio!  Cara de major heartburn de Miguel!

Tav heads back to the living room now where Miguel is.  He tells him they’re getting divorced.  Migui asks if he tried talking her out of it.  Nope.  Awfelia then sticks her nose in (talk about your cheeky help!) She begins telling Tav that Salmona has been a saint to him, but he shuts her up, saying Sim asked him for the divorce, not the other way around.  (Tell her to stuff it and to get back to cleaning the toilets.)  Miguel tries convincing Tav to apologize.  Cara de tell-me-you-didn’t-just-ask-me-to-box-up-my-balls-and-grovel de Octavio.

Nazario has finally found Jose Antonio.  He lets JA know in no uncertain terms that he knows JA’s a crooked ranch foreman and that those missing 100 head of cattle were his doing.

Apparently, Tav has momentarily decided to put his family jewels into a lockbox, cuz he heads back upstairs to have another chat with Ste. Salmona. Unfortunately, he finds the bedroom door is locked.  She takes off her wedding band and refuses to answer him or to let him into the bedroom.

Across the way at El Abuelo, Santa tells MC about Solita and that Perico may be the one responsible for her upset.  MC thinks Perico probably isn’t the problem and gives him the okay to visit with Solita.  Solita is thrilled he’s there and he falls asleep while watching her sleep—but not before offering to take care of her and her little boy—a semi proposal of marriage????

Salmona tells Ofelia that she believes she’s losing the sight in one eye.  (How does somebody only “feel” they’ve lost their eyesight?  Why isn’t she panicked and screaming to see her doctor?)  Awfelia comes back downstairs with a message for Tav that Salmona says they’ve got nothing more to discuss.  He asks how she’s feeling.  Awfelia shocks him and Migui with the news that she thinks she’s lost part of the sight in one of her eyes.  One more thing for Tav to feel guilty about….Awfelia can’t believe he’s not running upstairs to see to her, especially now with this terrible news!  Uh-uhh. “--She doesn’t want to see me and I don’t want to cause her any more grief!”

Miguel is emphatic that Tav has a reason not to allow Simona to divorce him.  He can’t leave her alone with a baby now that she’s sick and disabled! Heck, says Tav, exasperated. She’s the one with all the money. So, it would be totally demeaning for him to stick around like that after what she told him.  (Here, here!)  Didn’t you hear what she told Ofelia??  She wants nothing more to do with him.  Aw, it’s just a bad eye.  (Just?)  “—It’s really been a pain being married to Simona!  It thinks it’s the worst thing I could have done!”  Miguel offers to be a go-between for the two of them, to see if he can’t patch things up. Naw, she’s too used to giving all the orders.  (I have now developed a major crook in my neck from watching this endless verbal tennis match!  Miguel’s apparently on speed or something.)

Migui tries another tack.  Look, he tells Tav, if he plays his cards right he could do whatever he has a mind to regarding MC, still keeping Simona happy and ignorant. He just shouldn’t be so obvious, flaunting it in her face like he does.  “--Hey!  She’s the one that always provokes me with her spiteful attitude!”   Yeah, says Migui, don’t be so stupid then.  You know she’s jealous and imagines all sorts of things.  Tough, says Tav.  He’s only been honest (mostly honest, Tav) and he’s not about to change his ways for her.  He can’t stand her, to be totally honest.   And, he doesn’t like the way Miguel talks down about MC.  Should be obvious why, Migui says, considering the way he detests her.   Tav then informs him that if there is a divorce, once he’s free he’s going to go back with MC.  “--What’s with you and her?  Has she cast a spell on you [embrujar] or what?” Tav’s had enough for one night.  “—Think what you want!”  So, Migui starts planning and plotting to avoid being thrown out on his backside once Simona chucks Octavio.

MC finds Perico and Solita both asleep, her hand in his and his head on her lap.  MC wakes up Perico and downstairs in the kitchen she gives him the 3rd degree about his “modeling” for Natasha.

Meanwhile, Ingeniero Cifuentes tells his buddy that he’s going to fight for Maricruz and the people she’s sheltering on her lands.  It’s a shame to uproot all those people and make them suffer like that.  You cannot just sweep people off their property like that; and to think that the woman spent all her fortune trying to give those people a new home.  His buddy tells him the company will laugh at that and ignore him. There’s too much gold being mined in that area daily.  Cifuentes says he’ll make them understand somehow.

Perico admits that he loves Solita and MC’s not opposed, but his only complaint is how to deal with a deaf mute.  Sign language aside, a mute person doesn’t need a tongue to understand love, etc., etc……..

Miguel chases Tav out to the back yard where he’s trying to catch a few zzzz’s under the stars, since he’s been locked out of his bedroom.  Migui says think of their and their children’s futures if he throws it all away like this and doesn’t fight the divorce.  Tav, tho’, can’t stand Salmona’s constant jealousy and sniping.  It’s gone too far and it’s all been baseless.  Not exactly, says Miguel. Okay, says Tav, so he lusts in his heart…..but Maricruz has rejected him numerous times.  He had no intention of giving up Salmona for MC.  Then why hasn’t MC remarried, Miguel asks.  What’s she waiting on?  Dunno.  It’s just her independent nature, believes Tav.

Thanks Jardinera, and so early too. Did you get whiplash following this along?
I can not follow what Miguel has been trying to do. Did he want them to break up? Did he want them to stay together? Did he just want Simona to get worked up and then die?
And Octavio, he says he will divorce to marry MC, then says that she will never marry him, then says that he will not give up on Simona. My neck hurts.

Santa should have suspected that Solita ran into Navario since she's the only one who has a working brain cell in this show.

Thanks, Jardinera, for a fantastic recap.

It is really comical seeing Miguel trying anything to keep Simona and Octavio together. His suggestions and comments just get more and more ludicrous. He'll suggest anything so he doesn't have to get a real job. Whatever happened to the legal proceedings re. Eusebio's death? Did the monkey writers forget about that?

Speaking of mooonkeys, nobody had to worry about chaperoning Perico's visit with Solita because our changuito was right there in the window watching everything. Will Maricruz take him with the family when they all have to abandon Rancho Abuelo?

I actually watched the music/video before the promos last night and found it interesting that someone had taken the time to coordinate the music with Maricruz' s slapping Octavio. She slaps him on the accentuated syllable of "ol-VI-da-te" in the song. And these are the same people who have given us a novela that runs loosey goosey with time, plot and consistency? Sort of ironic.

Jarifa

@Jardinera - excellent recap. I especially loved your asides about Octavio's family jewels.

I didn't bother rewatching this episode last night (saw it more than 2 months ago), but I still enjoyed reading your take on it.

"certain will eventually fall in love with him. (As Hubby has always said, even the homeliest hombre thinks he’s a ripped Romeo. This guy’s no exception.)"

Love that observation Jardinera. Yes, the homeliest men have no doubts, and the loveliest women, in contrast, have plenty! Why is that?

Also got a kick out of your observation that the crap Miguel is throwing at those gilt-edged, guilt-laden walls didn't seem to be sticking! But willing worker that he was, he just kept on pitching. The endless back and forth of the brothers was tedious last night, but I'm still a sucker for the tender embraces between Maricruz and Octavio, hunky dunce that he is.

Love your rock 'em, sock'em style Jardinera. No other writer I know can match it. Thanks.

Jardinera:

Thanks so much for this marvelous recap!

Now Simona is losing the sight in one eye. Why isn't she going to the doctor? Hairline facture! I can't stand what she has become. She used to be caring and now, blech.

So what is Nazario going to do with the info he has on JA? Blackmail maybe?

I like Alvaro. He is a really nice guy compared to all the other yahoos that have been after MariCruz. At least he is fair.

Tav needs to get off the pot and just do what he wants. Forget about Miguel. Why doesn't Miguel just marry Simona? I bet she'd go for it! He could sweet talk her into it! One can hope..........

Can't wait for tonight when Tav confronts JA! What is he gonna do?

CathyX: "Did you get whiplash following this along?" Yes! and morning migraine to boot! LOL! Oi vey. As much as I was rooting for MC and Tav to remain King and Queen of the Prom, I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. The "will he/won't he" and Miguel's constantly changing his arguments to answer Tav's objections with his flibbertygibbet answers were worthy of Salesman of the Year. Trust me! I should know! I think docs like dear Carlos are obligated to take a course in Sales Rep Sparring along side Advanced Signature Scribbler before they can graduate med school and apply for licensing exams.

Jarifa: "...nobody had to worry about chaperoning Perico's visit with Solita because our changuito was right there in the window watching everything. Good thing, too, because he had the door closed and nobody could check to see whether he had both feet firmly on the floor! LOL!
===========
LatinaMD: that's fandom for ya! 2 months ago and you still write as clearly and wittily as if it had been the night before!

JudyB: IMHO most beautiful women are self-conscious and/or guilted into believing they're nothing more than eye-sores.... As for our "Hunky Dunce", yeah, I'm a sucker too! Couldn't take my eyes off DA. The camera is so kind to him. Talk about some real eye candy! He's murder on my insulin levels!
=========
Madelaine: "Why doesn't Miguel just marry Simona? I bet she'd go for it! He could sweet talk her into it! One can hope.........." Yeah, I've been tracking with you about that possibility. They're totally suited for each other, more so than Luciafer and Migui ever were. Watching them chat together you'd think they were an old married couple. One is just as conniving, self-centered and stingy as the other--a perfect pair of matching bookends.

Thank YouJ Jardinera for making sense of a totally confusing episode. Miguel should make a move on Simona, Give her what she wants, a man to grovel at her feet. Miguel would be perfect for that. And where is the bebe?? Where is Mini Migi And poor little No Name, the little guy was obviously frightened, too young to fake the crying.

JudyB I loved your observation about homely men and lovely women.

@Jardinera - I'm nowhere near as clear and witty as you, but thanks for the compliment.

Oh, and I agree with you and JudyB about homely men who think they are gods and beautiful women who think they are bleh. (Last year I saw an interview of Ana Brenda where the interviewer asked what were her "beauty secrets". She responded with something like "I'm aware of my limitations. I know I'm not a classic beauty, so I try to focus on my strengths - my eyes and my hair." I was flabbergasted that SHE would say that. (I wonder what gringo would say to that.)

Excellent as always Jardinera. Very entertaining.

So Santa couldn't determine what Solita was trying to communicate? OK... but I wonder why Maricruz didn't even ask her what was troubling her.

I too am confused as to what exactly Miguel is wanting to happen between Octavio and Simona. He doesn't want them to divorce and yet seeing them affectionate with each other disturbs him as well.

I guess someone must have come to fetch Octavio's horse since he rode back with Miguel.

Carlos

Great recap!

Watching Solita suffer because she couldn't communicate was horrible. Will someone please teach this girl sign language! All of these episodes that she wasn't in, why weren't the producers using that time to teach the actress sign language to use now.

Watching Nazario call JA out was great. It would be interesting if he decided to tell MC about JA's extracurricular activities. After all of the harm his family has done to her family, it would be nice if they paid it back, even if unknowingly just to spite JA.

Solita does know sign language. Tobias (I hate that they disappeared him!) used it with her and also MariCruz. I don't understand how Solita lost the ability along with Maricruz to communicate. I guess the rancho has a magical ability to make you forget everything you have learned!

Jardinera, Latina, Emerald Rose...I've long been fascinated by beautiful women who have so much self-doubt.

Two explanations: 1)Confidence is directly related to testosterone levels. Men's confidence wanes as their level drops. Ours were lower to begin with.
2) Most women I know, including me, have had boyfriends or mates who criticized certain aspects of their bodies. Not necessarily with ill intent-- they just feel okay pointing out that your feet are ugly (too many pointy-toed heels) or your hips are fat, or...my favorite...a dashing lad who preferred busty women and observed glumly one day as I extricated myself out of his sports car "I've always been a breast man but I guess now I'll have to be a leg man." It was funny so I didn't mind. But I don't suppose it did a lot for my self-confidence either!

Thank you much Jardinera---

A lot going on today, a lot of things on my mind so it will be short today---I won't bore you guys. Besides I'm on a backup computer, mine went out yesterday, so I want to take it easy with this one.

Miguel was sure workin' hard on One Cell last night, I thought that Tav would cave, he usually does.

The monkey and Solita last night--
is everybody happy?

$imona didn't give her "required" 15 minutes with Miguelito.

LatinaMD---Ana Brenda has limitations? what limitations?

Even if Maricruz gets JA to confess his stealing from her---she
will still lose the rancho because of the mining company.
the gringo

@gringo - Ana Brenda said it, not me. The interview is from July 2011. See for yourself. She said it at roughly 1:40 to 2:05 -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15Y_XbveG7I

She said: "Yo estoy consciente que mi tipo no es el tipo de la nina exquisita, bonita, guapa...." This roughly translates as "I'm conscious of the fact that my type is not the exquisite, pretty, goodlooking-girl type...."

gringo, twice now you've said:

"$imona didn't give her "required" 15 minutes with Miguelito."

Why should she? He's just a guest in her house along with his daddy. As for her own son, I'm not sure any of us had great expectations for her as a mother. Besides, SHE'S GOT A FREAKIN'HEADACHE!

Carlos

Great work.

Miguel should have married Simona; that would have suited him well. He's more turned on by money than by sex, anyway, as far as I can tell.

If Simona dies of a stroke or whatever else that headache heralds, he's still got it made as Octavio will inherit everything she has. That would also allow Octavio to remarry Maricruz and take back the property they originally inherited.

Where somebody is about to find gold (or was it oil?).

Hey UrbanA! Yeah, it's gold--don't remember oil being mentioned, but diamonds were. Either way, if the Mexican/state government does force MC off the rancho, then Tav and Miguel wont ever be able to purchase their land back--at least not untill all the mines officially peter out.

Emeraldrose: Oops! Sorry I skipped you earlier! My bad! All good questions!! I definitely think this little actor's days on screen are numbered, at least for the foreseeable future.... It's really a niggling irritation that little Ewwwwnonimo remains unchristened and that the newborn has been doesn't merit a nanny or a christening either--unless I blanked out somewhere during a past conversation. I'm stumped on a good name for Octavio Jr.

Carlos/Gringo: Those headaches will come in very handy as the ultimate excuse for Tav to finally abandon fulfilling his "husbandly duty" towards his cold fishwife. Jes sayin'.

Carlos/Madelaine/Carviville: As for Santa and MC playing charades with Solita over her reason for panicking, I wondered myself, but mental faculties were beginning to run out of steam by 3:30AM. ITA with whoever complained that it's as if these writers are alternated or shifted around and the next one doesn't give a tinker's damn about continuity. There were numerous scenes with Mari-Ale teaching herself to sign for Solita's sake. Guess she needs to brush up on it...not that she pays enough attention to her kid sis these days to really have it sink in....

The government takes all gold, oil, etc, even if you own the property it's found on? That's messed up.

Urban, messed up barely begins to describe what we see on screen these days.

Jardinera, you gave us a super recap! Enjoyed reading it, although I was both disgusted and amused at Miguel. His philosophy on women and how they operate was waay out of date, as well as stupid and condescending.

However, I saved my real anger for Solita's should-be supporters, MC and Santa. They didn't really try to understand the source of her anguish, even when she tried to mime it to them. There were earlier efforts at sign language, but little to show for that now.

Yeah, make sure Perrito's not going to break her heart and throw him to Solita for comfort. That still doesn't address the problem! She needs to be able to explain and to be understood, to know the source of her nameless baby. She also needs to know that Nazario is not Ewwsebio.

La Paloma: It's as if all Solita's been taught is knocked back to zero again because nobody can understand her or makes an effort to inform her. She's got a functioning brain if anyone would bother to allow her to really use it, and she is now at least 3 yrs older --18 or 19 with a kid. Frijolito time.....

Thank you, Jardinera, and also Latina for Monday's recap. My cat Angel decided to sleep on the warm DVR, causing it to reboot, so I missed a bit of Monday's episode.

I hope Ana Brenda never changes her looks. She's so beautiful just as she is.

I agree with everyone on the sign language. After all this time, I would think we could have some simple communication between Solita and Maricruz, like "What happened?" and "I saw the bad man."

And looks like the Mejia horse teleporter was working again!

What I am not understanding in all that is why Miguel didn't just tell the local police (even if they're idiots) that he killed Eusebio to defend his wife.

UrbanA: Yeah, somebody mentioned a few weeks back that the minerals are automatically government property and the owner gets practically nothing re: public domain purchase price when it takes it over and evicts the owner.

Urban: Miguel shot Eusebio in the back and there were no witnesses, other than Lucia. And the demented Lucia told Miguel to go on the run. I don't think it was his idea.

UrbanA: Regarding Miguel killing Ewwwsebio, I thought the same, but I believe he felt since he had no witnesses and since he was seen to have fought with the SOB that he had very little chance of being believed. They don't have the same legal form, following the French/Napoleonic legal system, which I believe is the reverse of ours, i.e., guilty till proven innocent. Anybody else with a better explanation please feel free to add to this hypothesis. That's why they had to pay Twinsebio to put in his own hand that lie about his brother having admitted to him and others that he'd been hot for Luciafer and was anxious to uh-hem, have his illicit, rapacious, and predatory way with her....

Yeah; that being the case he doesn't have enough brain cells to do the right thing.

Aleta: Thanks! We crisscrossed postings.

Things a little different here

Not tonight dear, YOU have a headache.

I see we're litigating Eusebio's murder yet once more. Aleta, you said that Miguel shot him in the back... I did not see it that way. Eusebio was on top of Lucia on his knees. The bullet hit him on the right side of the head. Here is that scene, judge for yourself whether it comes from the front or back. I think it came from the front but I don't think that it really matters. My opinion is that Miguel was protecting his wife and was justified in shooting Eusebio in the midst of an attempted rape. Other opinions differ. Even so I think Miguel was foolish to run and would have been exonerated had he stayed and turned himself in.

Carlos

So I guess the question is, should the punishment for rape be death?

cathyx, I don't think Miguel considered himself to be meting out punishment for rape, he was protecting his wife by ending the rape... rather effectively I might add.

In fact, in years past death has been a punishment for certain violent rapes here in the United States.

Carlos

So if you are being mugged, is it ok if I shoot the mugger dead?

cathyx, in a word... yes.

Of course other opinions vary.

Carlos

Even if he's unarmed?

cathyx, I don't even own a gun so I'll not be shooting anybody dead any time soon. I don't like the idea of shooting anyone who is unarmed. However, I do not like the idea of someone stronger attacking someone weaker in order to rob them or do them harm. Thus, if a mugger is shot while attacking someone for whatever reason, I will shed no tears.

Carlos

Sorry guys, I'm posting this late cuz I am having severe migraine.

I am calling the Narvaez brothers "balimbing" a name for a fruit called, I think is the "star" fruit- it is a many sided fruit and so when you slice it, it looks like a star. Balimbing is a term for someone who has many sides. Aren't Miguel or Octavio obvious "Balimbings"?

I too can't figure out Miguel. What does he want, for the couple to be together or to be separated? As for Octavio, now he declares his undying love for MC and now he says it's only Pity.

Can anybody educate me please on this- If one receives education from a deaf/dumb school and learn how to sign, does member of his family learn from the school too, in order to learn how to sign with him?
Then, if Tobias was able to show or teach Solita to sign, how would Santa learn to sign if nobody would teach her too? Also, remember that Maricruz went to the Isla to take care of the Casino losses, and that Don Ale had said that the education of Solita will come right after MA. Therefore, while she was being educated, MA was gone. So there was no time learning this great tool, how to sign language.

Why is Santa playing the devil's advocate lately. And she is surrounding MC with negative aura. If MC starts to listen to her and then to JA this tn will really give me a headache.
