He took Lupita! God help him! CI 10/29/13

Hi everyone-

We had a minor snafu and there won't be a full recap today, maybe tonight I can do something to fill everyone in on what happened last night. I did not watch the whole episode but did catch the last few minutes, I can tell you that Octavio thought it was a good idea to take Lupita from Santa by force. I have a feeling that he is going to regret that cause sh*t just got real.

In the mean time feel free to discuss last night's episode :)

Oh no he di'nt.

Oh yes, he did!

Thanks for posting this Eli. Not a whole lot happened last night except of course Octavio did kidnap the little Lupita... not a well thought out move.

So now Maricruz has Lupita styling her hair during quality time? Shameless!

Today is the Lovely Linda's and Cunning Carlos' 43rd wedding anniversary. We've taken off the rest of the week and at this very moment are hidden away at a top secret location in a hotel in downtown Houston. We are going to watch tonight's episode of Corazón Indomable and then dash across the alley to Vic and Anthony's Steakhouse to consume some rare beef. (Oops, I may have given away our secret location.)

Thanks in advance for the good wishes.

Carlos

LOL! Golawah, that is EXACTLY what I was going to write after I read Eli's title and note. :)

I didn't watch last night; but I don't think I can watch the aftermath of that idiotic move tonight either.

Happy Anniversary Carlos and Linda!

Vivi, I'm going to pour myself a very large glass of wine and recap in real time. I might even have to have 2 to get myself through it. I usually recap it the next day, but I need alcohol to do it this time and I don't like to drink in the morning.

thanks, Eli! for doing the recap.

Oblivio taking Lupita is very upsetting to me.

Carlos...Congratulations to you and the lovely Linda on your anniversary and wishes for many more happy years together.

And also, it may help to make this show make sense.

Yeah - I hope Maricruz brings down the "full force of the law" on stupid Octavio. If you aren't the custodial parent, you can't just take the kid.

Of course this is a telenovela, so who knows if the authorities will do anything.

Happy anniversary Carlos! The sad part about Octavio taking Lupita:He had to tell her who he was! How many times has he seen her?!

They've done a lot to make Octavio unlikeable. But somehow for me this despicable act crosses the line. I'm don't think I'm going to be able to get over it.

And when Octavio came into the kitchen, Lupita just looked at him and then looked away. No 'Hi Daddy' from her, or even a smile.

Happy Anniversary Carlos, I love rare steak.

Happy anniversary Carlos! Are you sure you want to spend it watching this? Seems like Mentir would be better for a romantic evening.

Kelly

Thanks for giving us a peg to hang the comments on, Eli.
Carlos, best wishes to you and the lovely Linda for a happy anniversary and an enjoyable evening.

Carlos---Your shameless statement sent me half way to the moon. I was really going to let it rip but
as you informed us, it's your anniversary so no harsh words tonight. I don't want to ruin anything or help to set a bad mood
so have a good time in Houston.

Well, the unloving, Uncaring, unfit mother lost Lupita last night---GOOG!!! It serves her right for being such an UNFIT mother and almost never giving Lupita her "required" 15 minutes a night. Or maybe that was the writers fault. Oh well, Mari was going to have Lupita taken away from her anyway by the Child Protective Services---It's A GOOD THING that little Lupita is now with a loving father who will FOR SURE give Lupita her "required" 15
minutes of love each show.

Has anybody been wondering that since $imona is going to die any day now, why she doesn't get headaches anymore, not even when she is stressed or arguing.

I wonder what part Old Mustache will play in getting Lupita returned to Maricruz.

Can't wait, 1 1/2 hours to go for ANOTHER GREAT NIGHT!!!
the gringo

Grinog- Yep. A few of us mentioned some episodes ago how strange it is that Simona has no more symptoms. Once again, bad writing.

CI is about to start but wanted to send Carlos a Happy Anniversary!!!

Happy anniversary to you and the Lovely Linda, Carlos! Wish you had been watching last night's Marido en Aquiler over on Telemundo for your anniversary. Lots of romance for several couples and a Tarzan-and-monkey scene to boot.

Gringo, I'm with you! I wanted to see CI as soon as it came on, but I'm working late tonight. Ojala, the cat did not cut off the DVR again and I can watch it when I get home because I'm sure I will need to unwind.

Carlos:

Very Happy Anniversary to You and the Lovely Linda, may you have many more!

Tav is dead to me, I should have said that maybe 20 epis ago! I can't believe he walked right in and stole Lupita. What made me the most mad was $imona's reaction to her. Shame on her!

Eli:

Thanks for putting this up! I missed most of it too. No worries though this is good : )

Carlos enjoy your anniversay and your steak.

Just when I couldn't think any less of Tav, wow. And what is truly horrible is that he is so stupid he doesn't realize his wife will abuse her. I'm ill. Tell me again why this TN can't be sliced to ribbons like LT.

What a sad episode.
Gringo, are you just being sarcastic or really have turned around. Please say yes to the first and not to the second.
For me Octavio is really dead and buried.
When Rodrigo knelt down to ask Luciana to forgive him in Refugio, my heart melted away but I think I won't ever forgive this guy. What a stupid stupid Guy.
Can they do this in Mexico? Meaning kidnap their children and or charge a single woman with immorality based on rumors and false documents?
I too am also wondering what happened to the illness of Simona. NOt a single sign of her dying. Maybe it's time for a friend of mine to visit her to speed up the process.(heeeheee! she is known to have that uncanny reputation and even was invited in her days to speed up the dying process of dying people.(Kind of like a bridge to the other side, they said. She has a calming effect on them and so when she touches them, it's like saying to them, it's all right to let go. Go on.....)
Lastly, I wish you many more Carlos and your lovely wife, Linda.
