Weekend Discussion: Karmageddon for La Tempestad and PEAM denizens

I have basically ignored these two series for the most part because I'm not into comedies and because William Levy does nothing for me.  However, since both of these are ending very shortly, the Karmageddons of their villains should be a hot topic that deserves its own discussion.

Let's start with Veronica of PEAM:

She's insane, jealous, selfish, controlling, sadistic, and a killer.  She's responsible for several deaths, a near-miscarriage, child abuse, and several kidnappings.  What fate does she deserve?

Rogelio, on the other hand:

...is basically a white-collar criminal.  He's guilty of money-laundering and other crimes involving prevarication, but he's not a killer.  He's already in the slammer and (apparently) paralyzed from a major beating by Ury, so what else should happen to him?

Ury is a dirtbag:

A sadistic brute for whom greed isn't enough motive; he gets off on the pain and fear of others.  He's in the slammer but is that enough?  I don't think so.

Now for La Tempestad's evil ones:

Hernan has no morals whatsoever:

Obsessive, sadistic, selfish, and often divorced from reality.  Too bad he's gorgeous.  What should happen to him?

Esther is the quintessential spoiled brat:

She shanghaied Damien into marrying her, passed off a baby as his, tells more lies than I can remember, and is prone to violence (Then again, look at who raised her).  Being sold to Ernesto was appropriate but inadequate.  What should be her final fate?

Fulgencio thinks nothing is forbidden to him:

Tin-pot dictator, misogynist, killer.... and other stuff I didn't catch.  What should happen to him?

Comments:
All I have to say is Rogelio has paid enough. I think his defect to the good side began from that sock Elias gave him. He then began to show remorse by preventing a painful Valentina-Abuse scene, testifying for Jesus, showing an act of humility for Paty by singing sans pride (Kudos to Xochitl for the idea!), confessing his crime(s) and going to prison. The guy is repented enough in my book and he also was a Superb father which brought out glee even in Venomica's eyes when she was being ultra-sounded.

Both of these I initially watched with great interest and anticipation, but then became so bored with the endless back and forth and stupidity of some of the characters - especially Alma and Marina, the cloying and annoying Hernan, that they became too frustrating to watch. Whatever happened to the intelligence of Manana para Siempre, Amor Real, Soy tu Duena?
Also, the editing in La Tempestad
badly lost the continuity.
I hope the upcoming Lo Que La Vida will be better. Cesar Evora is such a good actor and fun to watch. Daniela Romo is terrific and William Levy was very convincing.

I need help with something at the moment. Does anyone remember a 2003-2004 novella where the villana is headed to the wedding to disfigure the female lead but she fails and harms herself? There is a post part where a man is asking her something but sees her face and runs away in which she removes the map blocking her face and it is revealed. Please don't ignore this, the memory is fresh in my head someone please LOL

Are you talking about Baja las riendas del amor? Cynderella

@CorazonSalvaje do you remember any actors that were starring in that novela? It could help..

And im watching Lo Que La Me Vida Le Robo online rights and its quite good, better then La Tempestad.I seen 4 capitulos ,watched Quiero Amarte as well and it bore me to death despite the good cast.

And Hernan should burn in hell.

I am trying to get over being so steamed up over how they have chopped up La Temperstad and ruined it in order to answer the question.

I like Fully, so we could have him die killing Ernesto. Two Villains down. And he saves Marina, Magdalena, and Mercedes.

Mercedes marries someone-it could be Robles or Claudio; like em both; and she has a life and stops being so clingy and is able to enjoy her children and grandchildren.

When you get down to that whole crime organization can be like a self-cleaning oven. But Commandante Robles should be able to arrest the remnant and get Commendations.

Ursulla-I am really sorry she killed someone, I would have liked to see redemption for her. Don't know what should happen to her. We could have her killing Hernan after she gives him another little Northern Girl dancing lesson with the gun. She'll end up in prison.

Estercita-the problem here she is a victim as well as a villainess. She'll have to go back and be Ernesto's wife for awhile. That gets rid of the fake pregnancy. She has to go to jail for awhile for being Hernan's accomplice. They put her through trade school and becomes a welder.

Baby should be given to DamGoodFather. Delfina will have full visiting rights. Baby gets Ernesto's fortune, Marina is the executer of the estate.

Rosy-I'm sure they'll redeem her, she hasn't broken any real laws. I would have her sorry, publicly humiliated, and an outcast for a while, and then have Laz and Luc forgive her. They only let her visit once a week, and she is not aloud to say anything bad about Luc's cooking.

Abigail-Fully will expose what he did to bring Laz back to R-Lady the Sea, which will reunite Laz and Luc. Abigail will go back to the town she came from. Rosy will talk about what a bad quilt maker she was.

AND WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN TO UNIVISION FOR MALICIOUSLY AND CALLOUSLY CHOPPING UP LA TEMPESTAD??
It is already happening, their stock is plummeting!!
This is true. LISTEN UP UNIVISION!

Great choice for the weekend topic, U.A. And I'm really enjoying the comments. I like all of Emarie's suggestions, especially the "self-cleaning oven" quip! And I too regret that Ursula went so far into evil that she is beyond redemption. The girl had her "fun" side, in addition to being a skank.

Corazón Salvaje..not ignoring your question, just don't know the answer.

I don't know that answer either.

Going out in a few minutes to see the HD broadcast of Tosca. Will be back later.

UA: I must have blocked it out, but I don't remember a miscarriage in PEAM. Vero did cause Alma to be bedridden for a couple of months of her pregnancy.

Thanks for the topic UA.

PEAM should be over already and Killeronica will no longer bother anyone. Most of the other characters were harmless and should end up happy.

LT, ITA w/Emarie about fates of characters. And I also want Uni to know their shredding of a solid tn while allowing weak tns CI and PEAM to continue w/out edits is unforgiveable.

Ursula actually jumped ahead of Estercita in the villain line when she murdered for Hernan. Ester's worse crime is being inconvenient to the main couple, and for that she will likely die. I'm thinking Ernesto will do her in. I hope Ernesto, Hernan and Fully all end up taking each other out in the most painful way possible. Ursula should go to prison for life or die in the crossfire.

Killeronica probably won't be killed for Val's sake. But being on the bottom rung of the totem pole in a tough women's prison, while reading about and seeing the happy lives of Jesus, Alma, Pati, and Rogue should cause her great distress.

What about the translation??? I don't speak or understand Spanish. I was so glad when I found this site, now Friday's episode won't be translated? Not a happy camper here.

Anon- This isn't a recap, just a weekend discussion topic. Have patience. The LT recap is coming.

Veronica should go to prison where La Tecolota is and be abused by the same meanie that harassed Alma. Then when the happy couple visit La Tecolota to help her and bring her money, Veronica can just rant and rave about their happy life while all the inmates jeer and make fun of her.

Rogelio has paid enough. He has already taken major steps to turn his life around. Vero and Yuri have not.

Since Yuri uses his physical advantage to victimize others, his best punishment would be to lose his physical advantage.

I think the fictional world would be better off without Vero at all. Even her own daughter is bummed out by Vero's very existence. I'd like to see Vero have a fatal accident as a direct result of her own efforts to harm others. Failing that, I think prison would be perfect. It's dirty, germy, and full of people that she thinks aren't good enough for her.
