The return of Lupita Narvaez CI #127 Wed Nov.7th, 2013
An open letter to Perrico:
Dear Perrico, I think I speak for all of viewerville when I say that you need to go pound sand! If you love Natrasha then go be with her and leave poor Solita alone. She needs someone who is kind and loyal and you are neither. Is there something in the water that makes you and everyone else in this godforsaken story believe that marriage is the solution to all your problems? Do I need to remind you that the last person who someone married out of pity now has a brain tumor? Do you want your own brain tumor? Thought not. Please Perrico if you don't love Solita leave her alone, or else we will all get out our pointy sticks and hunt you like a dog.
Kisses and Hugs,
Eli
Now back to our show, Jose Antonio returns Lupita to Maricruz, Maricruz is a happy panda, this might be a little mean but wouldn't most mothers be happy to have a mini vacation from their kids? Lupita was only gone for three days, Mari should have taken this time to go to the spa and relax, now she has to stay at Lupitas side at all times, we don't want her to get kidnapped again, do we? Anyhoo, Juanita our voice of reason asks Mari if she does not find it strange that Jose Antonio returned Lupita to her, Mari, who I'm now 100% sure has also lost whatever working brain cells she had says that Jose Antonio only returned the girl to her because he knew where Octavio had hidden her and he has always been her BFF. Oooo ooooo someone smack some reality into her, por favor! It looks like our dear Santa knows or very strongly suspects that Jose Antonio had something to do with the kidnapping but does she speak up? Nope, I guess we have more than one mute in this household.
Welcome to Crazytown
At Rancho Simona Ofelia brings in baby Octavio to visit his mom, this does not go well as Simona freaks the heck out and threatens to throw the baby out the window. Now, I personally am not a fan of babies, but I'd never threaten to throw one out of a window! We see that Simona has gotten on the train to crazy town and I don't think she's coming back. She also forgets that she's married to Octavio (can we blame her for wanting to forget this?) and Miguel tries to tell her that she's Octavios wife but she's just not buying it. Miguel thinks it's time to send her off to a mental institution, maybe he could go with her and be her roommate, they could do each others hair and nails, have pillow fights, it would be awesome!
Later Jose Antonio informs Miguel that he returned the baby to Maricruz because she was ill, Octavio gets wind of this and is not happy, he calls Jose Antonio a traitor -well duh buddy, did you expect anything more from a man who helped kidnap the daughter of his "best friend"? You're really trying to win the award for dummy of the year aren't you? Don't worry pal, I think this is your year, you have no competition, you will win in a landslide. Once Jose Antonio leaves Miguel tells Octavio that Simona has really lost it and needs to be put in an institution, Octavio argues that this is not necessary, she's not violent and if she's going to die she will do so in her home! Did Ofelia not tell him that she wanted to throw the baby out the window? Of course she didn't her doing so would make too much sense. Octavio also tells Miguel that a medical team will be coming in to run tests on Simona, neither Octavio nor Miguel realize that Simona has heard their conversation.
Once Miguel leaves Octavio sits and laments his awful awful life, Maricruz hates him and Simona is going to die, waaah waaah. This just makes me dislike him that mush more- I didn't even think that was possible. He puts Maricruz through hell just because his crazy wife asked him to, and while he's perfect;y healthy he has the gall to complain about how sucky his life is! Dude, it could be worse, you could have a brain tumor, just ask Simona how much fun that is! Get over yourself you big baby! None of this would be happening if not for you.
The doctors show up at Rancho Simona and ask Simona a few questions, all of which she answers correctly, she tells them she is perfectly okay and that nothing is wrong with her.
That's all I managed to get from youtube. Join us tomorrow for another episode of crazy, stupid and mind numbing television.

This was fantastic. Much better than the epi, which I caught sporadically.
Does anyone else think that maybe Sickmona is faking? After that convo with Ofelia about the bebe and listening in on Migreedy and DEADTOMETAV that maybe she is lucid and faking she is going round the bend? Hmmmmmm......
I want to see tonight's cause the preview was pretty good about Sickmona riding a horse over to see MC. This should be an interesting confrontation.
I saw a scene where Perico tries to get Solita to understand that he wants to marry her, but when he gets her to understand this and she mimes having a wedding dress, crown and veil, he backs off saying he can't afford all that. Then she is crestfallen. So I don't get what the heck he is trying to say. Is he saying he wants them to have a civil, no frills, no Church wedding? But what happens after the wedding? If he can't afford to have a small Church wedding, then how the heck does he intend to support a wife and child (and likely more on the way)? Ack! Stupid writers.
The mother-child reunion was sweet. The little actress really loves ABC's hair, and was having a bit of fun with that.
Mads- I think Simona is losing her marbles, but found out enough by eavesdropping to pretend to be sane to the doctors so that they don't lock her up. Yeah, I know that makes no sense, but we’re talking about these writers…
Eli...thanks for doing such a fine job on this, despite your DVD machine doing you wrong. Loved the open letter to Perrico. Hard to love him as a galan for Solita. In fact, we have NO galanes. Nary a one.
Not able to watch this on Wednesday nights when I have a class. So thanks for the recap. Hoping to see "ultimos capitulos" pop up on the screen some day soon.
Let's put everybody out of their misery (with a few notable exceptions.)
I think Simona is faking too. I think she is tired of Mig and Tav talking behind her back and she thinks they'll be more honest if they think she is crazy. Plus, she can do criminal things and not be blamed. I can actually see her trying to kill MC and get off on insanity.
it was a BIG help. --- I liked your line that says Octavio sits and laments his awful life. Yeah, he's sure got things screwed up hasn't he? We have Jack Ass, should we have Jack Ass 2?
Eli I also liked you're $imona has gotten on the train to crazy town. But---I'm with Madelaine in that I am wondering if $imona is faking it.
I have lots to do so I have to run but the advances did look good for tonight. What does $imona have up her sleeve talking to Maricruz? Something isn't right there for sure. Must see TV.

The scene that the recap starts with is about halfway through, but fortunately for all of us, nothing important happened in the first half, so no need to go back and fix the recap. We might as well just start with Lupita coming home again. But one thing that happened in the first half was Ester giving JA an argument about returning Lupita. Now if you remember, she was arguing in a previous show that Lupita shouldn't have been taken from MC the first time she was kidnapped, she felt sorry for MC. Now on this second kidnapping, she's apparently made a 180 degree turn and decided she's good with it.
Also, the padre is now doing a lawyer's work and bringing a court order to Vargas for Octavio to bring back Lupita. Vargas argues that if he can't see Octavio because he's hiding out in order to give it to him, there's nothing he can do. Now remember, MC just hosted his wedding at her house when the child was stolen, and he can't be bothered to help her now. And I guess he's not on any honeymoon or anything either.
I was a little confused by his telling her that she can't have a wedding with the frills. Really? I have no idea a what he is thinking. Does he perhaps think the fact that she already has a child that this precludes her from a traditional white wedding? If we can get together the neighbor ladies for Vargas and his bride (and what a stunner she is) then surely we can throw something together for Solita. That said, let me add that I don't approve of this marriage in the first place.
Am I the only one worrying about Abelardo? I think this guy and Nilda have the potential to bring us lots of fun if he survives this last little setback.
Eli, as cathyx points out you can find the episode the following morning after it airs here at Unvision closed captions (Spanish and English) and all. It's where I capture the photos to caption in my recaps.

The thought that Simona is faking is great.
And since I've missed stuff here and there what happened to Miguel's baby son?
