Mentir Para Vivir #47 Wed 12/11/13 Tito the Thespian Treats us to more Dynamic Doggie Drama
Labels: mentir
I get such a kick out of Tito. I wish I could get my chihuahua to sit still like that. Happy Thursday everyone!
Boy did Seba get a lot off his chest last night! I don’t really blame him though. He’s had everything handed to him and now it’s all being taken away. If he weren’t such a stinker, I’d feel sorry for him. It’s time he’s had his comeuppance but I have a sneaky suspicion there’s an anvil out there with his name on it.
Will Fidelia claim Piero is the baby daddy? Piero is so fond of her he may be willing to play the part and assume the responsibility. I’m sure she’s destined for the Luscious Leonardo but isn’t ready to plunge into a new relationship just yet.
Was Oriana’s red skirt short, or what? A little higher and they would have had to blur out her lady parts when she was coming down the stairs at JL’s house! She kept tugging at that skirt throughout the episode.
I'm glad Leonardo had enough sense to know JL was shady. The guy who plays Leonardo has gotten a galan role per novelalounge, so we'll be seeing more of him after MPV ends.
.
Where in the world are they going with Piero and Fabi? I'm just not sure about that one. I'm glad Leo is on the scene.
Sebastian is right about everything. And one more thing, granny is nuts, loony tunes, loca. That's NOT Inez, lady. You're delusional.
If granny is o wonderful, how did she produce a drogadicta y prostituta? If Matilde is so awful, how did she produce two great kids? If Ricardo is so noble, how did Sebastian get so screwed up? If Phoniana is so wonderful, how did she manufacture such a spoiled monster?
Raqui is an idiot if she doesn't realize that JL is just using her to relieve his physical needs and to get info on Ori. Speaking of blurring lady parts, Uni had to blur hers in the bed scene.
I guess I have been in enough LatAm countries and communities to know that form fitting clothes is not unusual and doesn't equate sluttiness. Women are expected to flaunt it, if they've got it, and still be chaste and pure. However, that was not the ideal skirt to go on the run in. Love how they got one over on JL by sneaking Ori and Alina out the back in a different car. His wild goose chase all over town was hilarious.
By the way, with a fabulous beach house like that, I don't know why Fidelia spends any time in the city house.
I don't know why Fabi didn't set Cesar straight and tell him Piero had nothing to do with her pregnancy. Who better to get a beatdown from an angry brother and dad than SebAss?
So JL goes back to the park looking for Tito. Wondering what that was all about. Did Alina's words that Tito was her friend finally sink in and he was going to take the dog to the vet?
The estate attorney's business-like manner throughout the drama of the meeting cracked me up. How about a triangle between Paloma, him, and the Good Samaritan’s grandpa? Paloma is all stressed over Ori's problems and needs a break.
With her experience, Raquel should know JL is playing her. He wants to shower afterward and said "no" pretty brusquely when she offered to join him.
ITA on Tito's performance. He has grown in this role from the days when he didn't even wag his tail or lick Alina's face after being lost.
"one with the bandages"! I LOVED IT!!!
Wasn't my little Tito El Bambino just wonderful in his role last night?!
I want that little doggie all for myself. :))
Why do I just want to slap Lila silly? The chick just bugs the heck out of me.
Fatima
I'm glad Leo found Tito before JL did. He just wanted to look good in front of Alina like "Look! I found Tito! He's alive!". Anyway Tito is still recovering so its not very convenient for him to return with Alina just yet.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Seba showed up late and underdressed to the meeting. Ric is being just a tad bit on easy on him still by letting him keep his surname.
I agree the JL is totally playing Raquel. But she clearly likes the attention. JL is like, what, the fourth dude that she's hooked up with in this TN?I wouldn't be surprised if she too turns out to be pregnant. And it'll most likely be by JL.
I really liked the scene with Ric and JL. I'm glad Ric, Mariano, and Paloma are laying down the law and that Ori was able to leave without JL having a clue.

I hope tomorrow opens with Fabiola telling Cesar that no, Piero is not the father of the baby. And why would Cesar think of Piero anyway?
These rich people and their beautiful homes. I thought the same thing, why would Fidelia even live in town when she has such a beautiful beach house. She doesn't even see her friends anyway.
Raquel doesn't care if she's being used, as long as the presents and money keep coming.
Leonardo is smart enough to realize that JL is responsible for Tito's condition. He'll be a good foster dad for that little pup until JL's Karmageddon gets him. Tito gives a great performance here; somebody should revive The Patsy Awards.
Sebastian is a piece of crap no matter who his sperm donor is.
I like Rick, but strongly dislike how he has dealt with Maria & Sebastion.
How could he have let Maria live in that hovel with an abusive (father). He isn't a good parent or brother, he throws Seb out drunk to drive????
I wonder if we will see Tito & dobbie interaction? Has Tito wagged his tail yet?
Casa del Mata Perros - lol - very well put.
I don't think we should be surprised by Oriana's run away (or is it runway) outfit - she's not one to sacrifice fashion for comfort.
I don't understand a couple of things about this show.
1. Why would Ricky be "in-charge" of Maria. Why isn't her father in charge. Wouldn't her father be in charge since he is her next of kin? I don't get that.
2. By the looks of Fedelia's beach mansion, she is RICH too! Why did Ruben leave her because Matilde was an heiress? I don't get that either. Fedelia already owns her home.
3. Why was Leonardo trolling the park at night. I am getting suspicious of his nocturnal activities as well? That is WIERD.
Cynderella
Good point about Ric not being in charge of Maria. She wasn't raising his son, he only gave money to Benigno to shut him up.
I think that Ruben picked Matilde because she was a craven sex fiend and what man can say no to that.
I enjoyed the meeting in Frog Park. JL is very good at menacing but Leonardo does menacing pretty well himself. Add Neron the Doberman to that and it's pretty effective.
I may one of a very few, but I wanted more of Raquel and JL. They make a pretty steamy couple. I thought for a moment there that he was even going to kiss her toes.
Carlos
So presumably this happened after Fidelia went to live with them, after Ric's mom died - by that time Ruben had already chosen Madhilde.
Also, as Cathy supposed, maybe back in teh day Maddy was the sexy foxy and Fidelia the demure virgin.
cathyx... skanky? I prefer to think of her as just skankish.
Carlos
2) Yes, Oriana’s dress was a tad short not only for her age but for a business meeting where she’ll be in the company of her husband’s rival. The stilettos gave the outfit an even more ”dressed to impress” appearance. I’m surprised that the combination didn’t fuel JL’s jealousy.
3) I don’t see the advantage of not telling Alina the truth about Tito. At least she would know he's alive and recovering. That IMO is not only the truth but more realistic.
4) Fabiola is surprisingly naïve. Why would she go alone to confront the person who raped her? What was she thinking?
Ric was smart in giving her his phone. And what a memory he has. He remembered Maria's doctors number out of the blue. I can barely remember my own number.
