Wonderful, fabulous recap! I like your title.

Ah, when Art and Isa were dancing, I couldn't help but think about Betty and Salsero from AV and the salsa dancing. I miss them! Isa can dance, but Art, is a bit stiff. I do like their chemistry so tentative and so unsure. I like the way their romance is beginning.

Gema sure is easy isn't she? She goes from meeting the guy one day and then sleeping with him the next. I really hope he isn't able to get into Isa's safe. It will suck to be Gema if he does.

Glad Ara is with Tita, Ara is much happier, but I did feel bad for Osvaldo. Poor guy has trouble with communication. I hope he manages to turn himself around and be a great Abuelo. I am really liking his Major Domo/Butler Balthazar, he could just feel Osvaldo's pain and I swear he shed a bit of a tear.

I am really liking Bruno and Gaby they are very cute. I hope they end up together.

What a gutless twit Feo is, to have to scare women all the time and leach money from them. And to scare the Mama of his children! I can't wait for his anvil and I hope it is a gigundo one. He so deserves it!

Can't wait to see what highjinks So-not tries to come up with, and I hope she fails miserably!
 

Thanks so much TJ! I have to say I'm really liking this TN so far. This is the first time I've seen Guy Ecker. He has kind of an "everyman" quality about him that's very endearing. Isa and Art's romance is progressing exactly the way I would envision for two people in this situation. I wondered if Isabel would remember Arturo from the elevator.

Gema isn't just easy, she's a cinch. She will regret her actions in more ways than one.

I noticed something kind of funny. When Gabi and Bruno were talking and people in the background were dancing, there was no music! It sounded like an aerobics class going on behind them.

Oh , Gemma! Our mothers tell us not to talk to strangers for a reason ! I could not believe that she let a stranger into her boss's apartment and then into her bed. Yikes

poor Andrea. I am glad that she at least has a small group of supporters now.

I loved the seaside resort and the double date for the black and white dance. Both couples looked good together. I always enjoy double dating. Did you notice the sign had the words "black and white" in English ? Gaby looked better with her hair up or with the bangs off to the side.

So-no looked like death warmed over, but it looks like she is going to live to make more trouble.
 

TJ thanks for the recap and we all understand getting the team together. I've been able to catch up and thank all the recappers for their work.

Mads - ITA about Feo. Gutless wonder and creep whose anvil can't be big enough. The logic of these villains is such as mess: you hurt these women on multiple levels but want revenge on them b/c they rightfully put you in jail.

Yes poor Gema really lacks judgement. If you want to act crazy on your own time and at your own place but as Susanlynn noted, not at your boss's house and bed.

I completely agree with you about the maid. She was quite easy to seduce, yet she didn't come off as slutty...just terribly, terribly naive. And I'm going to be crude. When he was on the phone in the closet, I noticed Dante has small feet. Just sayin'.

Oh the kiss!! SWOON!!!!!!!!! I love Guy Ecker. I am developing a serious crush on this man.

Madelaine-I loved the scene with the repentant Ozzie and the eavesdropping mayordomo as well. Very tender and touching. Ozzie is coming around.

xlntperuvian-I love the pacing of Art and Isa's romance, too. I especially liked the scene with Arturo talking to Eugenia and feeling a little confused about having feelings for Isa. And OMG I noticed the same thing during Gaby and Bruno's conversation. Clomp clomp clomp!

Susanlynn-I am happy that Andrea is gathering a support group at work, but she needs to watch out for Tere!!!

Fantastic recap. "Ms. Alarmist", "single and ready to mingle"m "Can he also give her a loving personality and some compassion? I know that he works miracles" were simply great. "Art is not exactly, Rico Suave" was my favorite.

Madelaine, you plucked the memory of Betty and Salsero's sexy salsa dancing right out of my head! Unfortuntely, Art does not possess Santino’s amazing dancing and rhythm. An unfortunate scene where many of us are still pining for AV...

Thought Isa's not wanting to rush into anything and not opening herself to be hurt again was very realistic. Of course, Gaby will be advising her to throw caution to the wind at every available opportunity! (Thankfully!

Madelaine- yes, I thought about Betty and Salsero but you're right Art and Isa were more tentative in their dancing. I have a feeling that Osvaldo is going to get it together with Tita's help. I agree-Feo is the lowest of lows. Yep, what ws Gema thinknig at her boss' house, in her bed. Yuck!
xintperuvian- I'm still laughing about Gema being a cinch. You are very observant about the music.
Susanlynn- I agree, Gema didn't listen to her mother. Yes, I saw the sign and thought oh wow, english and no spanish. Hmmm.
The stylists are doing a good job with Gaby's hair becasue they are cleverly adding extensions and making it look very natural.

I too felt a little sorry for Ozzie. Perhaps he was too rigid with Artie and then made the same mistake with Ara but he does seem to have a good heart and I think will come around.

Well, t least we now know that Dante will play a part and it won't be a good one. He really looked menacing when he put on those sunglasses.

I wonder who is making the calls to Andrea - my guess would be Gonzalo but who knows.

MeanieMin needs to stop praying to St. Jude. He is the patron saint of hopeless causes and she is more than even he can handle. It's interesting to me that the two sweet kids, Esteban and Ara both have problematic grandparents but I'm betting only one of them will end up with a good caring one. I think it is WAY too late for Meanie.
 

TJ- No need to apologize for late recaps and such. It happens. We all know this is volunteer work, and sometimes real life takes priority.

ITA with all the comments regarding easy Gema. Wow! That hookup was all kinds of tacky. In Isa's bed! Kind of dumb of Gonzo to send Dante to get into the safe, without the combination.

I also really enjoyed Isa and Art's first kiss. It was interesting how in the moment Art was. He is a man, after all, and another part of his brain took over. Meanwhile, Isa couldn't shut off her mind and just go with the moment. But he was just as shaken with grief, pain, and guilt afterwards as she was. Hopefully, Gabi and Bruno can help their amigos get past all that, and just enjoy the new love that's come into their lives.

I know she's awful, but Grandma Meanie cracked me up when she mocked Esteban's sweet little voice after he wished her goodnight. LOL! One day, God's going to strike her with lightning for blasphemy.

And what you said about Art and Isa's perception of the kiss was dead on.
 

TJ- The first kiss between the widowed galan and the heroine (whose first love/fiancé had died three years before, and who had just been betrayed by her husband), played out in a similar way in Amor Bravio. He was all in the moment and initiated the kiss. But she freaked out, feeling like she had betrayed her first love, and not being able to trust a man after what her husband did to her. But it was later, in quiet moments by himself, that the galan cried, spoke to his dead wife, questioned his feelings for the heroine, and asked for a sign from his wife of her approval-- very much like Art did.
 

Isa and Art are both too wounded to be able to handle this attraction right now. It is way too soon for Art even if he is a man (LOL), he has a very wounded little girl to think about. He needs to put Ara first and remember the promise he made to her. At this point Isa and he should be ships that pass in the night because the timeing is wrong, very wrong for them right now.
 

I'm trying to do two novelas right now and all of the other things that life has for us and so I got behind but am caught up now. Thank you Corazon Salvaje for yesterday. Arturo is single and ready to mingle was a cute line.

I enjoyed last night as did everyone but I have a couple of questions. #1 Feo was arrested and his buddy/partner was arrested a day or two later. OK, I guess that this young guy Dante is somehow tied up with these two in some way---but who is Gonzalo and where does he fit in?

Question #2 is for all you lades, I guess that I am the only guy around. I like Guy Ecker. I mean that he is good looking and a very good actor but every time I see him I am always thinking---can't that guy ever comb his hair?
Then I catch myself and say, it is combed. Do any of you ladies have the same thought or is it just me?

Oh, I like the butler Balthazar, he cracks me up. I always think that he is trying too hard to look/act snooty.

Gringo- I'm assuming that the middle part and bangs both Art and Bruno are sporting will disappear in the time jump. The same with Gaby's flip and bangs. Ojala!

Gonzalo is F-No's friend/accomplice who was arrested, but he was set free on bail, due to lack of evidence. He never implicated F-No in giving him the forged checks and said he got it elsewhere. Gonzalo is also the one who has recruited Dante to help F-No in his plans to get back at Isa and Andrea. We know from a conversation between Lucha and Gabino some time back that their son Dante was turned to a life of crime by his no-good friend Gonzalo.

Thanks Vivi---So Dante is Lucha and Gabino's son and is working for Feo and Gonzo---not good.

Bruno has those two strange curls
right up front on each side. I have wondered if they are natural or is it something that the hair department did.
