Mentir Para Vivir #56 Wed 12/25/13 Feliz Navidad! There is no comfort and joy for Paloma’s family tonight.

LOL I always laugh, when I hear the windsor family joke, and Mati with tree-face, she doesn't understand, very "dangerous" scene. And when she shouted Rhodalina, I loved Ori, she should always be so brave.
I loved Leo, when he run down from the upstairs because of the ringing cell phone, and Mati is a witch, she is so wicked with Fabiola. I loved the mother of 3 symbol above her head.
Maria had a tragic destiny, but I think a divvy healing wold have been on bad terms with our realistic tale. Beningno and perla are the shame of human species, they are miserable. No Maria, they will have less with one problem, and they were better intrested in Tv programme than maria's death.
But a fault, Maria was operated, but she hadn't cuts on her head, she should have had at least a head bandage. The scene with Ricky was so emotional, and she died laughly, I think it made the scene more dramatic.

The worse part of the Mati-Fabi "boys only want to get in your pants then they'll leave" convo is that it should have happened FIVE YEARS AGO when Fabi entered puberty, not when she's three or so months pregnant with three suitors. Talk about doing something once the horse is out the barn.
Homero and Leo being nosy is also apparently going lead them into trouble with JL and co.
I simply cannot get behind Matty. Her need to control her family is not healthy. The things she said to Fabiola last night were horrible and in my opinion emotionally abusive.
I guess Madhilde's getting knocked up when she was single is at least half the driver of her control-freakishness but it doesn't excuse the emotional abuse she is heaping on her unfortunate daughter. I hope somebody eventually kicks her clear across Mexico for this. The very idea that marrying Sebass (good one, whoever thought it up) should be her punishment for letting him rape her when she was unconscious displays a viciousness that screams out for a shink.
And Sebass will ultimately do something anatomically impossible if he keeps behaving this way in offices. And he deserves it.
I strongly recommend this for Madhilde

Can't wait 'til they find a way to get rid of the scurrilous brat.
I would have agreed with Mati saying she has a right to know about who Piero is, if she actually cared that he's a good person who loves and respects her daughter. She couldn't care less about that. She ONLY wants to know if he has money or comes from a family with a high society name. With those two things in place, she would care if Piero was a woman abuser who hurled insults at her daughter and thought she was a whore. In fact, that's exactly who she's trying so hard to make Fabi marry- SabAss.
The passing of Maria was sad but beautiful. Who was the ghost? Her mother, maybe?
I hope Leo also goes around in an armored car, because he and grandpa are about to become target number one. JL is close to finding out who they are, and it looks like Ori's refusal to back to him is about to drive him close to the edge.

A friend of mine from Guadalajara thinks my vocab continues to improve. If he only knew it was because of our TNs!!!
I agree that every mother has a right to know about their children, but Matilde is an emotionally abusive woman. If someone were to ask me if I would "prefer" physical abuse over emotional abuse, I think I would choose physical abuse. At least it is something you can "see". I have to think that emotional abuse is something that can harm a person for much longer than the physical abuse. Of course, physical abuse also carries the emotional abuse, but when dealing with a teenager, wouldn't it stand to reason that this could harm the teen for a long time afterwards?
What sickens me even more is Sebastian calling Fabiola a whore. Oh my gosh, I could have yanked my hand in that screen and put a vise grip on that little pinhead of his.
I guess we are just past the halfway point on this TN. I don't want it to end. It is a TN filled with substance and no filler. The Spanish is complex and really forces my brain to work hard, but I know this TN alone has really helped me!
...and dear Maria...I have to say it made me cry. Such a sad life. Thank you AlejoP for confirming it was Maria looking at herself. I had wondered about it, but wasn't sure.
Marvelous recapping skills, Paquita!!

Ay, esa Matilde! Every time I start to feel the least bit sorry for her, she opens her mouth and says something horrible again.
I have a feeling Sebastian is going to screw up this whole Trejo Bonfil business and end up getting Francisco into even more trouble with Joaquin. Having Sebastian around to take the fall isn't going to work if he makes such a huge mess of things that it's not believable when people like Francisco and Antonio try to say that they had no idea what he was doing. Joaquin already thinks Francisco can't control "his" people...what's he going to think if he meets Sebastian?!
I will miss Maria. Hate to say it, but Sebass did have a point when he asked Ricky how he was expected to feel for Maria when thanks to the family’s secret he never got to know her. Of course, Sebass is a jerk and could have done better. But how different might he be today if, say, at age 5 or 6, they had introduced him to Maria?
Paloma is right to bar Matilda from harassing her daughter. But I wonder if Paloma is being so tough, like telling Ruben to go ahead and get a divorce [which to me is out of line, stay out of other folk’s marriage unless you see blood], because Paloma’s own husband was like Matilda. Paloma knows she should’ve never let her husband stop her from trying to find Inez. Being rich and also having Homero as a friend back then, she surely could’ve found Inez. I think Paloma is also working out her anger with herself for being pushed around by her husband. She should suggest Matilda get therapy because hating on her own daughter and being so crappy that NOONE likes her is a sickness.
I do believe I saw Tito wagging his tail on the lawn with Alina.
Strangely they blurred Benigno’s girlfriend’s cleavage.
This wasn't the case for the early episodes. Somewhere around ep30, Uni considered that nudity and started blurring that nude painting.
It was not out of line for anyone to tell her that the way she treats Fabiola will push everyone else away. This woman is out of her mind and very out of touch with modern reality. While being an unmarried mother is far too commonplace today it has to be worse to be married to an abusive jerk.
She has to be related to Bernarda of TdA if she believes that Fabiola should be punished for her situation... which was the same as her own.
I'm with you 5Ft Latina, every time I start to feel sorry for Matilde, she opens her mouth and speaks. Then I hate her again and wish her ill. I can sympathize with her about being kept in the dark and not being in on decisions, but she's created a landscape that is so hostile and abusive that she has forfeited her rights to be a part of it. Insulting and insisting isn't going to make the situation go away or get better and neither will 'I told you sos'. She refuses to listen to anyone while insisting on getting her way. All Paloma has to do to control Matilde is threaten to cut off her inheritance.
I thought the scene of Maria dying was very touching too. David Zapeda did a good job there.
Now everyone will know that Sebastian is working for Trejo Bonfil and JL and figure out what's up there.
Homero now is going to investigate Paloma Valdivia. Will he discover that she had 2 children instead of one? Not a spoiler, I am just guessing here. It would make sense that Homero would be the one to solve that mystery too if it's true.
Aaaand that's why I can't stand Matty. Everything she does is self serving. Deep down she is only worried about herself. I don't even take her despair about not knowing Fabiola's whereabouts as motherly concern. She was just worried Paloma liked Fab better. I make no bones about it, I do not like Matty and have no sympathy for her.
Maddy is such a control freak. She is emotionally abusive to her family. Can't believe she called her own daughter a "cualquiera". Hope Paloma does end up kicking her out of the house.
Maria's death scene was sad. Ric being there with her was good. I think he was the right person to be there with her in her final moments. I'm getting tired of Benigno and his lady friend. What other secrets could he possibly find out about Ric? I doubt there's any. I don't think there are any more skeletons in Ric's closet. All the Ori/JL stuff doesn't count. That's none of Benigno's bizness anyway.
It seems like with Leo's godfather now in the mix, things might get interesting with JL/Trejo Bonfil/CIC. We'll see what happens. Also, as mentioned, Seba might not be so helpful to JL.

Watching Maddie be so abusive to her daughter was sickening. I'm w/Sara in that I can't have sympathy for her b/c of her viciousness to her family.
Cathyx ITA that if anyone will find out about Oriana's past it will be Homer.
For a sickly old lady, Paloma certainly wields a lot of power. She uses her wealth as well as her fragile health to control and manipulate those around her. I feel a bit sorry for Matilde because she is the generally focal point of Paloma's ire.
I'm a little puzzled as to why Paloma didn't think of looking to her old friend Homero when she set out on her quest to find her disappeared daughter and grand daughter. He sure has a lot of investigative resources and experience.
I'm not seeing the significance of the ghostly apparition at the hospital. María's spirit? Ummm...OK...but María was wide awake for that kiss from her prince right before she died. I keep thinking that there was more to it than that.

I've realize the third to last sentence of my first comment wasn't clear. What I meant to say was I wonder if Sr. TrejoB is also going to see that JL's personal life interferes with business. If he, like Homero, hears the gossip about Oriana and all that, I don't think that will be a good thing. I do hope there are no serious consequences for him in the business deal, but it seems almost inevitable.
I wonder if JL will put Raquel to investigate Leo and Gramps or will he do it himself. If Homero puts the pieces together about Oriana/Ines and Franciso Castro/JL, that has it's pros and cons. On the upside he might be able to save TrejoB from losing his company. On the downside, Ori may go to jail, but my guess is that just like in QBA, it'll have to happen.
