Mentir Para Vivir #88 Mon 2/10/14 Marilooney gives it her all and ... fails
Here is a brief recap of what has happeend (many thanks to Vivi, who added her piece of work, too)
- Ric and Oriana break up again, because she is not willing to wait on his divorce - regardless of that, she will still be married
- Joaquin's daughter, Jacqui, finds out about her father's affairs from her mom, Rosa; she is shocked and upset, she wants to go to Mexico to set things straight, see what really happened; her mother warns her to be careful with Uncle Sam
- Rosa agrees to free JL from his position, especially since he still has the CD; Sam doesn't agree with this, he wants to kill 'hem all
- Maddy offends Cesar one more time, when he refuses to work for the real estate company; later with Ric and Piero, Cesar expresses his worry about his parents being involved in said business
- Homero is wondering what will Joaquin's widow and his eldest daughter will do now that he's dead; will they continue the family business? also, he's thinking about asking Ruben to snoop for him
- Ruben thinks Cesar should find out if Raquel's child is his and Cesar agrees
- Marilu sneaks into Rick's room while he's sleeping and dreaming about getting it on with Ori. She gets a few sleepy kisses out of him, until he wakes up, kicks her out, and runs to the shower to wash her cooties off. While he does that, she rips apart his desk and bookshelves and finds Ricky's gun. She fondled it, looking crazy, and takes it with her. (Vivi)
- Sam asks the bodyguard to kill JL; the bodyguard tells everything to JL and asks for his protection, but JL couldn't care less - he fires the guy
- Tony and some guy, Feliciano, talk about the way the real estate business will work: fake invoices, poor quality materials
- Maddy doesn't want to hire Seb, she screams at Tony, putting him in his place
- Fabi isn't feeling too great; Seb apologizes once again and asks her to marry him; she says no
- Oriana and JL meet; she tells him he can see Alina twice a day, but first they have to convince the girl that he's not evil (Good luck with that!)
And, in the meantime, enjoy this video some more. Seriously, EVERYONE stop what you're doing and WATCH THIS! (Televisa galans wish you a Happy Valentine's Day). This is what wet dreams are made of.
Ha, I guess I can write a long Preview for tonight's episode, but I've spoiled you enough already!
Again, I'm very sorry for the mix-up.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. You made my day. I still can't close my mouth.
Glad to see that Pablo is shaving again, but what's with that insanely short haircut on Eduardo? The man has nice, thick hair and it should be longer!
I can't wait for this series to end, sorry to say. That cast deserves better.
It is a sad think when we are in Ultimos Capitulos and I don't even care what is happening on the screen. I've never seen such bland final episodes.
Thank heaven the recappers are awesome!!!
I think Vivi is correct -- you are a night ahead. No matter. Last night's wasn't much of an episode anyway. And reading ahead won't spoil any surprises.

Oooops!
I'm going to take down the recap, save it for tonight, but I'll leave the video.
I'm so sorry, I always check when I'm not watching the episode before but this time I was in a hurry.
What I remember from last night.
Mrs. Joaquin sets JL free, hires a lawyer to figure out how to get out of shady biz, and tells Sam too bad, so sad, I'm in charge now. Jackie decides to go to Mexico to investigate. JL and Ori have lunch and he does his best to convince her that they can have what they once had, now that he is mob and booze free. Sebas sees Gabi at school, apologizes for all he did to her, and asks her to marry him. She says no. Later Cesar tells her that he may have knocked up Raqui, and he's concerned about his baby having a last name. He wonders if Fabi doesn't want to consider marrying one of her galans in order to provide her baby a name. Fabi says she'll go it alone. Mati rips Tony a new one for suggesting Sebas work for them. Marilu sneaks into Rick's room while he's sleeping and dreaming about getting it on with Ori. She gets a few sleepy kisses out of him, until he wakes up, kicks her out, and runs to the shower to wash her cooties off. While he does that, she rips apart his desk and bookshelves and finds Ricky's gun. She fondled it, looking crazy, and takes it with her.
Shame to see MPV petering out like this, but I always love the recaps and comments. I did enjoy Ricky tossing Marilu out. No idea what Marilu is going to do with the gun, but she was mumbling about its history so maybe she'll use it somehow to get Ricky in trouble with the police.
They are all swoon worthy, buy I find my CdlF particularly yummilicious.
Vivi wrote about what happened in a previous comment.
If you want we can share the space, each getting half of the episode. Or you could get the whole thing, since it is YOUR day. Let me know how you prefer to do things.
¡Dios mio! muy caliente. Tks Adriana Noel, you made my Valentin's week.
Only thing missing was Colunga. Yáñez is getting a little thick around the jowls. Who was the one on the left in the last group photo, he was the only one I have never seen before. He also had an individual photo between Zepeda & Rulli.
Off for a cold shower.
Niecie mentioned the Sam's henchie (the guy who came after Mike and looks like David Beckham). Sam tells him to stick with JL and watch him, no matter what. He tried pleading with JL that he's already lost his job, Sam will kill him if he comes back empty-handed, and that he'll be loyal to who pays him-- JL. JL doesn't take the bait. He gives him what's in his wallet and tells him to hit the road.
Sam still wants that cd. Mrs. Joaquin isn't too concerned about it. She and JL made a deal. She sets him free, he keeps the cd to himself. She trusts him and is satisfied with that. Sam is not.
So happy to be posting in my home (I've been w/o power since late last Tuesday night).
Thanks so much Adriana for that video. It really made my day. ITA that Eduardo should have his long hair as it is gorgeous.
Vivi thanks for the recap.
I noticed that Fernando Colunga is absent, too, he must have been in vacation or something because everyone else is there.
Interesting to see who they paid most attention to (at least in my opinion): William Levy, Sebastian Rully, Eduardo Yanez and Cristian de la Fuente - they were kind of the main poster or something.
OT - Yanez and Levy: They're both working on a film with Emilio and Gloria Estefan -- http://entretenimiento.univision.com/despierta-america/farandula/video/2014-01-29/eduardo-yanez-william-levy-y-emilio-estefan-juntos-en-una-pelicula

I'm at the office, so I don't dare watch the link you sent until later this evening. I'm sure I will enjoy it greatly. :)
