Mentir Para Vivir #92 Fri 2/14/14 Paloma's Birthday Bash Gets Crashed

capítulo 92

At Snoop Mansion, Homero listens to Jacqui's explanation and her desire to rectify her dead daddy's dastardly doings by using his vast wealth to do good deeds.  Snoops realizes that Daughter of Ho King is not involved with the Mafiosi de Santo Domingo.  She offers to get the inside skinny on the new realty development business that JL has invested her daddy's dinero in, if she can.

Later that day, Padre Huaraches 'n Socks has coffee with Piero.  He tells Piero he's in love with Jaqui.  Piero is all sour grapes-y and warns him about their going in cahoots with Snoops, cuz he only cares about the big collar and not about all the little people he uses and involves who might get hurt in the meantime.

Ric comes over in the evening to see Oriana.  He asks if she knew that Raquel is preggers and  if it could be Jose Luis's, even though she's claiming now that it is Caesar's and is willing to let Caesar keep the kid.  Ric reminds her that condoms do break and babies do get started.  She thinks back to the “forgotten” condom question she posed to Ric the last time they did the deed.  He asks her, speaking of condom questions, did she get any news at the doc's she might want to share with him.  Nope, she lies.

Afterward, Ric double-checks with Paloma, but she skirts the truth and says 2nes's pregnancy is for 2nes to tell him about, not her.   Back in her bedroom, Ori rubs her belly and thinks about the right way and time to mention she's expecting his kid.

Next morning, Jose Luis forces himself inside the fortressed gardens of Paloma's manse wanting to find out why Oriana has backed away suddenly and refused Alisa bike riding lessons.  Alina and Tito shy away from baddy Papi Boozehound's embarrassing attempts at burying the hatchet.  Tito puts his ears back and Lina and he trot away without a word.  JL is flustered, hurt and disappointed.  Oriana comes out to explain that after all the horrible, awful, rotten, no good, very bad things he's done, murder among them, that it's best he just doesn't see his daughter anymore.  He lies that he's innocent of murder, but Viewerville and Ori know better.  Paloma re-emphasises her disgust and 2nes's  refusal to let JL associate with either of them.  She snaps at him to fly off to his big ranch in Arizona. Then she screeches at him.  “--Get a life! And leave the two of us in peace!

JL loses his temper, demanding his visitation rights and gets physical with Ori just as Ricardo walks into the garden.  Ric goes after JL and the two of them start throwing punches, rolling around on the ground and eventually landing on a glass table which shatters.  (Hmmm.  Looks like Ricardo's been taking a few kick-boxing lessons on the sly.)  Ric gets the upper hand and puts it onto a huge shard of glass that he is about to slit JL's throat with.  Ori screams endlessly for Ric to drop the shard and get up.  He eventually comes to his senses, pitches it away and walks off, letting JL get up.  JL turns to Oriana before stumbling away and says see how easily anybody is capable of murder!

Oriana tends to Ric's wounds after a trip to the hospital.  They decide he's in no shape to go home, let alone face another of Mad Malaboo de Marilu's maniacal harangues.   They agree not to mention a word of the fight to Paloma, who now cannot attend the birthday party for the old gal.  Ori gives the word to Fabiola as well, then calls Fidelia to give her the 411 about  what just went down and how to handle it.  Ori blames herself (uhhhh-gain), but Fi tells her not to fill her pretty little head with recriminations of guilt.  It's her loco hubby's fault, not Oriana's, she claims self-righteously.

At Fortress Falcon, meanwhile, JL is bleeding on his couch with a comforting bottle of Jose Cuervo.  His manservant calls the doctor after helping him to his room.  JL spends his time putting together a crazy man's collage of six prints of the same Falcon family photo from years past.  Dr. Varonese shows up by surprise since JL missed his last visit and tends to him.  The doc gives JL grief for backsliding and tells him he should probably realize he's lost his family and move on.  JL refuses.  Dr. V. leaves, totally disgusted.  JL stares dementedly at the collage he's now stuck over his bed.

Maddening Malaboo has been hitting back a few herself and she gives Fi grief about Ruben, who's there to pick Fi up for the party, as her romantic interest—er rather, his age and inability to “perform”.   Fi tells her she rues the day she allowed ML to come live with her in her house--”My husband's house,”  ML corrects her.  Same dif, Fi alludes.  “--And hopefully very soon  he'll throw you out of here!”  She snickers and says he won't cuz he's got no reason to.  Anyway, she adds, he's got his own closet full of skeletons to hide. [tenerle cola que pisar]  ML tells herself as she downs another trago and watches Fi leave that if she can't run the woman out of her house, then she'll make her life a living Hell for her!

Ruben and Fi arrive at Paloma's to check in on Ric and greet Fabi, who tells them the great news that she and Leonardo are now going steady.  Cheers all around.  The girl has a daddy for her baby (but I personally think Leo is asking for a basket of bad news, to put it extremely mildly.)

In another part of Hermosillo, Jaqui and Ma meet for coffee at a neighborhood cafe.  J tells Ma that Snoops knows all the details regarding Daddy's businesses and past deeds, as well as  what's what with Franscisco Castro and his CD.  She also tells Ma about their agreement to get the goods on the new biz that Castro and Unk have set up.  Just then Mathilde shows up and invites herself to coffee with the ladies.  Mad Hilde brags about her presidency and all the facts and figures she's got to go over daily.  She admits she's never been good with figures, prompting Ma to ask why then she bothered to accept the job.  Well,, it has to do with the shares of stock in Aresti-Breton—one of the largest and most prestigious companies in the city and the whole region, donchaknow—and her wanting to trade in her shares, blah, blah, blah.  Bottom line, Jaqui is an architect (what a coinkydink) and JL and Unk's new company can always use another architect's advice and whatever..... So Jaqui wangles her way into Mad Hilde's confidence and into a job at the new company (I think).

Later, in their room, Ma tries talking Jaqui out of this insane idea to bring down the new company for Sr. Homero.  If he couldn't find anything in all the years that her papi was alive, he sure as heck ain't gonna find anything against him and his now that he's six foot under.  “--You're good and smart, but you are not Wonder Woman, Jaqui.”

Later in the week, Ruben shows up to take Fi to Paloma's long awaited birthday bash.   Malaboo learns she's not been invited to Paloma's party and she gets moody.  Fi, forever the patient, kind-hearted lady, and Rube suggest it was just an oversight on 2nes's part.  Malaboo sneers and takes a few verbal jabs at 2nes's character.  Yep it's still all her fault that Ricardope doesn't treat her with respect, let alone slept with her, his wife, for gawdsakes!  Hic!  Fi gives in and says, Marilu's correct.  Nobody, especially Paloma, can stand the shit out of her anymore and Paloma doesn't want her at the party!  Satisfied now?   “--Let's get going, Ruben!”  Cara de drunken, dissed, and debauched Malaboo-hoo-hoo de Marilu.  She grumbles to herself that she'll make them sorry for this great insult!

At the party everybody who's anybody other than Marilu is there—even Jaqui!

Malaboo-hoo decides to doll up in between tragos and drunken disses for one and all, and crash the party.  Something to make her point effectively  is still missing, though.  Now what could it be?????  Ahhh, yes!  She pulls open a drawer in her dresser and lifts out
Ric's .45 semi-automatic.  (Dun-dun-dun-duhnnnnnn!)

Malaboo arrives just as 2nes finishes testifying to Paloma's generosity of spirit and heart and calls 2nes a ho.  Paloma takes Lina into the kitchen as ML continues her colorful rant about being the long-suffering wife keeping the home fires burning while 2nes burns the sheets with hubby Ric.  When Fi tries to shut her up and tells her to behave she turns on her also.  “--You behave!  You who goes looking for a lover—at your age!”  Piero gets up to try dragging her out of the room and possibly sobering her up.  Nothin' doin' though.  ML screams over at 2nes that she's stolen her husband and her happiness as well as a place in the family tree.  If it weren't for 2nes she'd have been happy as a clam!  What a way to pay back the favor she did her, huh?  (HUH is right!)

Suddenly Malaboo-hoo opens her purse and takes out the pistol.  She begins waving it around, eventually trying to aim it at Ori.  “--You're going to die because you wrecked my life!!”  Fi jumps up and tries to grab it from her or something, but we don't see exactlywhat happens next.  The gun goes off wildly and everybody's heart skips a beat.  It seems that Fidelia has to have been fatally wounded.  (Poor Ruben!  After he and she were just renewing their relationship together!  Sob. Sob.)

Ric is wakened by the noise of the shot.

At work in her office, Mad Hilde suddenly has the urge to call Fabi but cannot reach her.  Univision takes a moment to pay its bills and Viewerville is left holding its breath and mourning the loss of Ricardo's aunt.

As we return to the bummer of a birthday party, we hear ML screaming for the men to let her go.  Grampa Snoops leans over and picks up the murder weapon with his napkin, careful not to wreck the fingerprints.  (Goody!)  He calls Manolo to rush over and to bring his handcuffs with him.  The camera pans to a motionless Fabi lying totally unbloodied and unconscious on the floor by the table.  They carry her out and rush her to the hospital.  2Nes whimpers on the sidelines and blames herself.  Ric races into the room and asks Fi what just happened.  She tells him that Marilu's shot was meant for 2nes but that she shot Fabi instead.

Ori goes into the kitchen and tells Paloma that nothing happened, just another drunken tirade from a crazy woman who'd had too much to drink.  (QTH?)  So much for the party, says Paloma.  Yep.

Back in the dining room Lucina tell Sebastardo, Ric and Raqui that Fabi got shot in the stomach and most probably the baby will not make it.  Seb gets a brotherly hug from Ric.

Outside the manse, Homero gives the details to Manolo who takes ML off to jail.  Inside, Fidelia tells Ric that as much a pain in the ass that Malaboo's been, she's still family and they should really help her get a decent lawyer.  Ric gives in and says either way she's looking at being years behind bars if either the baby or Fabi dies.  And, BTW, Tía, Marilu's got a lover.  He's got a video proving it.  Somehow something has changed her for the bad and she's not the sweet girl she used to be.  Fi blames the crazy marriage.  He knows what their agreement was and it wasn't whatever she'd hoped it might be.  So no way, he sayz, is he taking the blame for this.

At the hospital, Seb arrives just as the doc comes out to tell Ruben,Leo and Caesar that the baby died.  The doc had to do a Cesarean (no relation.....) to get it.  And now Viewerville must wait to see if Fabiola flatlines.

We will be waiting for yet another one of your stellar recaps, Jardinera654!

5Ft Diva, belated thank you for Thursday's installment. I am truly going to miss your wonderful titles. They have all been excellent! Glad that your candy making was successful. :))

I can't believe that I missed this, but I am just now noticing the nose piercing on Jackie/Jacqui! Can't say that the odd color of red hair does much for me, but if our former Padre Plaid likes it, who am I to complain. :))

Fatima

What the hell did Fabi ever do to anyone? Hasn't she been through enough?

Looking forward to your brilliance, Jardinera.

I don't get the whole facial piercing thing myself. I have never understood actors or actresses who do this and/or get tattoos.

Me, too, J. I know that it will be worth waiting for.

I concur, Sara. With all of the craziness and shenanigans in this novela, Fabiola is the one paying the price????

I was happy to see Sebastian at the party and then reacting as he did to Fabiola's situation. I almost forgave Ricardo everything that I complain about (immature whining, blustering and occasional Ines-stalking!) when he hugged Sebastian so tenderly.

I'm no prude or stick in the mud, but what really does surprise me about the facial piercings is that some people in the service industry wear this "look" to work. While it does not repulse me, it still seems to shock me just a tad.

I agree. Fabiola has really taken one too many for this team. Are the writers driving this point home for a reason? I fully expect Raquel to get her anvil, but she's gotten away with a heck of a lot in this TN.

Fatima

I should clarify: I do know that body piercings are in keeping with the norm in many cultures. I was not referring to that, but to those 20somethings who have tongue piercings and are working at my local coffee/tea haus. I find myself looking at the huge silver ball on the tip of the tongue instead of looking at their face as a whole!!

Fatima

Life is cruel...Poor Fabi!
What will Karmageddon be of MariLoca now?

AlejoP.

Sheesh, it feels like I've been away for a long time, I've been so busy. Thanks 5ft Latina for yesterday's recap. I just watched this episode this morning and Fabiola gets dumped on again. And loses the baby too, so Marilooney will be charged with murder I think.

Another anvil is JL twice said that he's going to fight 'til death for Oriana, so he's going to be a goner too.

Jackie really bugs me personally. I don't like her hair or her voice. I'm glad I haven't had to watch her for very long. How can she possibly clean up Joaquin's mess by donating money to good causes? That doesn't bring anyone back from the dead or pay people he robbed back.

I'm not a big fan of body piercings either, but I'm also not a fan at all of tattoos of any kind, and everyone seems to have one or both of those things now. Actors should think twice about getting either of them since they can be difficult to cover up and it could limit their roles.

Poor Fabia indeed. But I'm guessing this will cause Matilda to change.

I feel like Fabi is similar to poor Solita in CI. The writers just have all types of terrible things happen to her. Thanks Sara for capturing my outrage with your comment.

ITA Niecie, that this could hopefully be Maddie's wake up call.

Wow! All these comments about Fabi. Now I have to watch the episode to see what happened.

When I watched this episode on TV, they went to a commercial when Marilooney shot the gun, then when we came back, they didn't show Fabiola getting shot, she was already laying down and being taken to the hospital. So I had to guess that Fabiola had been shot until they finally said she was.

I hates that it was fabiola got shot and lost the baby on top of everything. After all she went through with the baby and finding out it was healthy they kill it.

There are other characters that could've received a bullet and without such tragedy. That was just too much.

For a second there I thought paloma would end up shot though. All and all a very exciting episode all around.

Cathyx, that's true. It was a camera trick because it caught a close up of Fidelia at that precise moment so I personally thought it was her, but if you look closely when Mariloca aims the gun at Oriana, Fabi has left her seat and is standing next to her. Although I don't remember if Fabi and Ori were sitting next to each other or who and how many were sitting between them.

Very sad that she lost the baby even though that means she is no longer tied to Seba.

Well, AlejoP as Ric said it might not be so easy helping Mariloca even if they get her a lawyer. Too many witnesses and since technically its not just murder (of Fabi's baby) but also attempted murder of Oriana.

That really upset me when I found out that Fabi got shot. Matilde sensed something had happened. I'm also hoping that that will be a turning point in her life. On the other hand, if she adds insult to injury with her usual verbal abuse it'll make me wonder what point the writers are trying to prove.

Even though Jackie's piercing is tiny, I noticed it when she first came on the scene. Piercing is a trend that I don't like or understand. It's common where I live to see anything from brows, to belly buttons to holes as large as dimes in the ears. Google "youtube nipple piercing" if you really want a treat.

I'm not a fan of tattoos, but I could understand people liking them if they kept their rich color. Instead they all age to one dull color blue.

Did Ricky actually say or indicate he would get a lawyer for Maricoo coo? I hope not!

Foxy, I don't think he said that HE would do it, but somehow she will probably get one. Court ordered one maybe. We will have to wait and see.

Do they have court-appointed legal aid in Mexico? Based on how many people spend years in prison on charges rather than convictions it doesn't sound like it.

If anyone had a problem getting to the Fri Reina, like I did, here is the link
http://caraycaray.blogspot.com/2014/02/telemundo-y-mas-front-page-la-reina-del_10.html

Now THAT! is a good TN!

All I can think of with tongue piercings is spinach or lettuce getting stuck in there.
And imagine those tattoos in the wrinkles when you get old.

All I can think of with tongue piercings is spinach or lettuce getting stuck in there.
And imagine those tattoos in the wrinkles when you get old.

Everybody brings that one up but nobody seems to ask the other question of What happens if you get tired of them? A certain friend of mine (who doesn't have any tattoos) doesn't seem to think that anyone regrets this decision, but I know some people do long before they get old.

There are tattoo removal clinics and devices so there must be plenty of people who do regret getting one.

It's up amig@s. Thanks for waiting so patiently. Back atchya soon.

UA, you're probably right. Although despite Mariloca's actions it does seem like Fidelia and maybe even Piero are willing to help her get a lawyer. Too bad Piero couldnt get her out of the house when he tried. However, if she's informed that Fabi's baby died, I don't think a defense of "I really intended to kill my husband's lover" will help her in any way if she tries to use it. Like I said above, she could be also charged with the attempted murder of Ori.

Okay, what happens now..... Fabrick "of your life" survives and marry Leonardo "Devinci"?

Does Rick "Romney" now get his divorce uncontested, since MaryLulu is up the river, without a paddle?

Does Joe Louis "Falcon" move to
Arizona, and says "To Hell" with Orines, but leaves support money for Little Lina? (BTW, if Rick Romney adopts LL, Joe Louis is off the hook for child support).

With so few epis left, what will become of the remaining folks of Hermosillo.... Granny Poloma, Homer Run, The many Body Gaurds, and the recently introduced family of Joaqin " De Que Color".

A lot of action to come.....
I am about ready to rap this puppy up (Tito too). It's getting to be March Madness time, and most of the good NCAA BBall games come on at 7 pm.....Time to get hooked up with all my "Big Dance" partners on Caray Caray;JudyB., Guera, I think are commenting on Robo.

Meanwhile we have many plots to get straight here on MpV, I am ready to see what the end will be.

Fabi was bleeding in the stomach area when it came back from commercial break.

Ric said Malibooboo would get a lawyer but it really didn't matter cuz if Fabi or her baby dies, Malibooboo is going to jail.

I really don't think Mad Hilda can change, she will say she's glad Fabi's baby died, that Fabi's baby dying is a punishment etc. She hasn't been shown to change like Sebastian has.

Jackie's nose ring & clown hair don't bother me. She better not tell her mom what happened during Paloma's party, or Momma will have her back in Arizona or the Dominican Republic lickety split.

I think JL's destiny is to sit in a jail cell looking at pictures of Oriana and Alina for the rest of his life. That would be fitting. Maybe we'll learn his real name.

Raquel needs to be hit by the anvil truck but she'll probably get married to Mike or something.

Another outstanding performance by Tito Bambino. His steely glare at big, bad JL. His happy trot and gallant tail flicks as he exited stage left with Princess Alina. That little guy has star power on a level one rarely sees.

Except for her hair, I like naive, altruistic Jackie, and she seems perfect for Mariano. IRL, no one would be wearing spike heels again and walking sightseeing so soon after a bad ankle sprain, but, hey. Anything is possible in Novelaland.

It does seem like the writers are piling on poor Fabi, but, OTOH, I wasn't happy with the idea of her being tied down with a kid resulting from a rape while still a kid herself. If she lives, which I think she will, she'll be free to pursue her education, career, travel and enjoy some child-free time with Leo before taking on kids if they decide to adopt later. I believe in family planning and I don't believe that any baby that comes your way is always a blessing. Fabi is obviously greatly traumatized at the moment, but it may work out for her long term.

Thanks, Jardinera, for another wonderful recap. Always worth the wait.

Jackie's piercing doesn't bother me at all. It seems like an authentic touch for a young woman in a creative profession like her.

As for actors having piercings, yes, that seems short-sighted to me, but a little nose stud like she has may not even be real. It could just be an unusual outbreak of realism from the wardrobe department.

Unlike tattoos, piercings are easily removed. I saw a documentary about a reformed gang banger that was trying to get his life together. He was covered with tattoos, even on his face. It was extremely painful to remove the tattoos, not to mention expensive. People were helping him, so the tattoo removal was donated.

Thank you Jardinera! Great recap. This episode actually moved along quite swiftly.

The writers made an interesting choice in having Fabi shot, as it really opens up so many different possibilities for her. Had anyone else been shot, other than them dying, it really wouldn't have made a huge difference in any plot points. Fabi losing the baby, however, changes quite a few things for her, and could also change her relationship with her mother. If Mati is tuned in enough to know when there has been a disturbance in the Force with her daughter, then there just might be hope for her yet.

At least now Rick can finally divorce Marilu. Maybe Ori will finally tell him she's expecting his kid.

Loved Lina following Tito's cues and the two of them flouncing out on JL. I love that this little dog is so integral to the plot, and such a huge pain in the butt for JL. Big man vs little dog. :)

Jardinera, thanks for the recap. You had a doosy of a party.

Carolina and Vivi thanks for giving thoughtful analyses of the possibilities for Fabi. I'm just still bummed she keeps getting dumped on plotwise.

While Maricoocoo is going to jail, does that mean Ricky can get a divorce? I don't see that crazy woman letting him go just b/c of the murder of a child which she blames him for any way.

Great recap, Thanks Jardinera.
Oriana/Inés has come quite good at lying, er .. covering up the truth. She wasn't truthful with Rick about the pregnancy, nor with Paloma about Fabi. I can rationalize her not telling Paloma about Fabi, but hope the pregnancy denial isn't going to turn into a mini series.

Foxy- I think the whole group decided not to tell Paloma about Fabi being shot, not just Ori. They likely want to wait to bring the cardiologist, or at least her nurse, as usual when they break bad news to her. Now, as soon as she sees the doc, she knows something is up. :)

Karen- From the other tns they've shown, like Por Siempre (Andy and Feo), once someone is a convicted criminal, their spouse can get a divorce, regardless of whether they object. So I think Rick can finally be free of Mariloca, whether she wants a divorce or not.

Jardinera - Great recap.

My favorite scene was dog vs man. Strange that later Alina wanted to see JL, after she had walked away from him without a word. Bad editing?

I'm going to bet that Matilda comes through for Fabi. I hope so cause I would like to see how the actress can make an about-face seem authentic.

Vivi, thanks for the follow-up. I missed that it was a group decision.

Dear Jardinera,

I am late to the game, but want to thank you for the wonderful recap with just the right witty touches.
Ten more episodes.

Vivi - great point that Marilu's shooting of Fabiola and the loss of the baby does open up more dramatic possibilities for her than some other scenarios. It certainly does make us all root for her even more, as she is a very sympathetic character who has suffered quite a bit.

Comparing the long suffering Fabiola to the long suffering Solita in Corazon Indomable, I am much more accepting of the Fabiola storyline because I feel like the writers, and other characters, are treating her like a human being with feelings and emotions. While Solita was treated worse than a pet. In fact, Tito is getting much more care and consideration for his suffering than Solita ever did from any of the other characters in CI. Bad things happened to her, and we saw NO resolution, NO growth, NADA. However, we have seen Fabiola blossom into a strong young woman, who becomes more sure of herself each day.

Hi there ladies and gents. Fabi's entire story is a sad one but harder is the Leo storyline. Sucks. Seb and she should have ended up together in this once his rehabilitation/salvation is at hand. Leo doesn't seem convincing as a love interest in this thing at all--no more than Piero who are about the same age it seems--both were cradle robbing dopes IMNSO.

ITA that Alina's rejection of her daddy in this episodio was bad editing/story-writing, but I believe the writers gave up at this point in the story, anyway.

Jardinera- I don't think Leo is as old as Piero. He's supposed to be in his early 20s, while Piero is in his late 30s.

Vivi: You're right, but it's hard for me to make these distinctions any more, je-je.

He's still a fool IMNSHO. Oh well, just film fantasia.

Thank you so much Jardinera654 for another wonderful weekend recap! It is always worth the wait. :))

Some odds 'n ends thoughts:

--Tito My Bambino is such a scene stealer! I love that little doggie. The look he gave JL was priceless! I hope we see him in more TN

--Could Oriana's red dress have gotten any shorter?! She could hardly walk in it. I thought it was going to hike over her fanny any moment. She sure has the bod to wear the stuff, but holy cow, what a short dress!!

--I thought Diego Olivera (sp?) acted his scene with the multiple SAME pictures of his family on the wall very well. He is a jerk, a liar, and a murderer, but in that one moment, he looked like a normal every day kind of guy who is sad at losing his family. I think it is these types of moments that have made Oriana feel so conflicted. What a handsome and manly man he is!

--I like Sebastian's new hair cut. He looks believably reformed. I agree with all who have mentioned the wonderful moment that Ric hugged him.

--I think we could just toss a coin in terms of what Matilde's reaction to Fabiola's shooting will be. Maybe it will take this to see just how controlling she has been as I don't think Matilde sees that part of herself at all.

--Homero and Paloma make a very cute couple. I think Paloma, the actress, is a very, very attractive woman with an incredibly beautiful smile. My mother always used to say that the best make up a woman could wear is a smile, so I find myself enjoying people who have beautiful smiles (like "my" Juan Soler!).

--I agree with Jardinera654 that Leo, as cute as he is, just doesn't seem convincing as a love interest. I would not be believing his words

--I wonder what will happen to Piero. Will he end up alone and unmatched at the end?

--Lastly, I DO love David Zepeda and would much rather see him as a galan versus the villain. I will take him ANY day and wish I could live in a TN world where I could wear my short dresses with my fab tacones ALL day long and NOT have to work. That plus someone calling me "mi amor" every five minutes would be fun. :))

Yes, this TN derailed, but I love the characters and the actors and I am going to miss them and all of the beautiful shots of Hermosillo and vicinity.

The TN can get wacky sometimes, but I have to say that I look forward to a break from the day to day reality.

Thank you again, Jardinera654

Mrs Mejia just began filming a novela, La gata with Daniel Arenas y Maite Perroni. I wonder if there be any caray watchers afer la basura CI

http://www.peopleenespanol.com/gallery/inician-las-grabaciones-de-la-gata-con-maite-perroni-y-daniel-arenas-fotos?xid=pespdaily02172014

There will be a new telenovela that will replace Mentir Para Vivir after it ends. I saw the ad for it on Univision during commercial break and it'll be called "De que Te quiero, Te Quiero" amid believe it will star Livia Brito and Juan Diego Covarrubias as the protagonists.

Will anyone recap that novela?

A very VERY belated thank you to all the recappers!
I've been away all last week - I'm changing work and I'm still trying to get used to the new situation.

I agree with all of you that Fabiola has really gotten ALL the bad karma. Pregnant at 18, HIV positive, SHOOT in the belly!!! She's the perfect victim, it appears.

Thanks for another most excellent recap, Jardinera. As always, it's a real treat.

Yikes, poor Fabiola. I was so hoping for her to forgive Sebastian and for the three of them to live happily ever after.

Vivi, you are so right about the differences in the treatment here of Fabiola and the way that Solita was treated in CI. Of all my problems with CI, the thing that troubled me the most was the way her character was treated by those who supposedly loved her.

Once again Friday, I couldn't help but notice how poorly trained Nerón is. Leo drug him away by his collar and I thought someone had pointed out earlier that He is Leo's dog in real life.

Carlos
