Por Siempre Mi Amor 2/7/14 US Capítulo 47
Ally, Zenaida and the bikers are at the hospital waiting for news about Tita after her percance (accident.) Bruno walks in and says they are doing routine tests on Tita. He's a jerk to the bikers. Ally tries to apologize. They say they are used to it.
Ara has come to ask FeVier for help. He fusses at her for coming to see him at work. There are strict rules. He can't help her right now because he has a lot of work. Ara receives a text about Tita's accident. He tells her to go see Tita and they'll catch up later tonight at Sonia's. They kiss. (blech.) Every time he says "guapa" I want to hurl. I can't remember who said it, but I agree that it will be his downfall.
Art, Isa and Gaby arrive at the hospital. They are a bit shocked, but are more gracious to the bikers. The bikers know all about them and Ara. Tita has mentioned them a lot. They laugh at the idea of Tita dressed like them.
Tita has an esguince (sprain.) She worries about her moto. Bruno thinks it's silly she talks about it as if it were a person. She tries to explain how working with the Angels gave her a new lease on life and it fulfills her since..."I went away to Spain" Bruno interrupts.
Isa liked the bikers. Ally mentions the Casa Hogar they want to build. Isa thinks it sounds like a good idea and wants to know more.
Mari and Dan say goodbye to the Hats. It breaks her heart every time she has to say goodbye. Dan promises they will visit them again. El Borlas and Gonzo look on from a car across the street. They follow as Dan and Mari pull away. (Yes, leaving the Hats alone in the apt.)
Raisin is pithed at FeVier for having an outside visitor. He asks about the meeting with Isa. He reminds FeVier that he is on probation and if he doesn't close these deals he's fired. The conversation is interrupted by a phone call from Mrs. Lidia Raisin (aka Elizabeth "Crazy Eyed" Dupeyron.) She's raging about the makeup she found all over his shirts. Raisin says it was HER makeup. She apologizes for being a raving, jealous lunatic. (I think she's not all there in the head.) Raisin hangs up and mutters that the worst thing he did was marry that crazy jealous broad. FeVier overhears it all.
The bikers won't be able to visit Tita. They understand. She needs to rest. Bruno is a jackass to them. Art and Bruno go to the cafeteria.
Estban is chatting with Ileana and Cristian. They tell him Ara's been seeing Sonia all along and now has left Art's house. Unfortunately, Tía did not exactly welcome her back with open arms. Este worries for Aranza.
The Hats are going nuts in the apartment. Agatha asks where Tassels is. She says she'll babysit them.
In the cafeteria, Bruno whines about his irresponsible mother. She's not acting as someone her age should and her "friends" are a bunch of thugs. Art tells him to chill. Did Bruno even talk to them? Art talked to the bikers and they aren't that bad! Bruno can't believe what Art is telling them, but concedes maybe he was a jerk. Art says Bruno is mad at Tita. Don't take it out on the bikers.
Tita is glad Isa likes the bikers. Ally asks Isa and Gaby if they will be part of the Casa Hogar project. They'd love to. Osvi arrives for a visit.
Ara gets to the hospital and asks about Tita and Zenaida mentions Tita getting caught in her double life.
Bruno and Art are still chatting in the cafeteria and Marcela walks up. Bruno leaves and Art invites Marcela to join him. She can tell something is up with him and asks if it's Isa. He tells her about Ara leaving the house.
Osvi is not pleased with the company Tita keeps. She tells him not to be so judgmental. He doesn't have the right to call them "mugrosos." She's going to tell him the whole story so he'll stop saying awful things about her amigos. He looks to the heavens and huffs "amigos!" (scandalous....get over it, Old Man.)
Isa gives Ara a big hug. She asks if she's ok and tell her they miss her...even if it's just been one day.
El Borlas and Gonzo follow Dan to the Avocado Abode. Now they know where he lives.
Bruno returns from the cafeteria. Isa asks about Art and finds out he is with Marcela.
FeVier is not to happy about Sonia giving Ara his workplace information, but she doesn't see how she could avoid it. They are supposed to be friends, why wouldn't she know? FeVier tells Sonia she needs to convince Ara to get her hands on the fideiecomiso (trust fund) and to convince the capricious twit (thanks, tofie!) that is will solve all her problems. As soon as Ara has the money, they will activate their twin power rings and they will take it from her.
Gonzo, Dante and El Borlas stalk Dan as he walks down the street.
Art and Dafne dine. The doorbell rings and it's Dafne's dad and he wants to see Art. Art goes to see him. Dafne's dad wants to know why no one told him his little Duck was there. Art wants to know why the man hasn't tried to contact her the whole time she's been there. Dafne won't go anywhere with her father.
The three goons attack Dan. I write a bunch of profanity in my notes. I found it hard to watch. You may want to FF>>
Isa and Gaby go to Sonia's apartment building. Isa wants to talk to Aranza. She lost her son. She doesn't want to lose Aranza.
Dafne's dad gets physical. Art tells him not to touch Dafne and tells him to leave. Dafne is of age and he can't obligate her to do anything. Mr. Duck says Dafne can forget about forever. Dafne reminds him he's the one who forgot about him. Mr. Duck leaves and Dafne thanks Art. She wishes Art was her dad and she gets might huggy and clingy (I can't remember who noted the way too weird body language/signals Dafne throws out to Art, but yeah...you're right.)
FeVier is mad Ara won't answer his calls. Sonia thinks she needs to get there quick so she can tell her it's best she go live with her padrino. FeVier gets a call from one of his goons. Isa is in the building.
Isa asks Ara if they can talk.
Dafne is still crying on Art's shoulder. Art thought her dad had come to fix things up with Dafne. Dafne cries that she is just a nuisance to her parents. Art is so sorry this is happening to her. Dafne cries and clings. No one has every defended her. Ara doesn't know how lucky she is to have a dad like Art. He hopes Ara comes home soon. So does Daf. She loves her like a
My cable company oversells local advertising and I regularly miss a minute or two of many of my TNs, so they return to programming right as Isa is saying Ara is going to have years for that and why doesn't she live? She's telling her from experience. Isa lost her parents young and had to take a lot of things on her shoulders. She and Art can support her while she studies so she can have a brillant future. Sonia arrives. She notes that Isa must be worried about Ara. Isa tells her she's trying to convince Ara to come back to the house. Sonia thinks that's a decision Ara should make without feeling pressured. Ara wants to prove she can make it on her own.
Tita is coming home tomorrow. Her bike (Libertad by name?) took a lot of damage though and Tita will not be happy about it.
Ara is mad about Sonia turning her back on her. Raisin arrives and he knows Sonia has a guest. He is not happy. Sonia explains it's her niece. Raisin doesn't care.
The three *bleep* threaten Dan. He better not threaten them. If he doesn't obey them, the next time it will be Mari or the kids. El Borlas is dead to me.
Mari and Cuca are in the kitchen when Cuca receives Dan's call. She runs to give the phone to Don Gil and Mari runs out of the house. Dan passes out while Don Gil is trying to find out where he is.
Raisin decides who lives in the apartment. Raisin tell Sonia that Ara has 24 hours to get out or both of them have to leave. Ara is sorry she got her aunt in trouble.
Isa comes home. Art asks what was so important she had to talk to Gaby. Isa confesses she lied and followed Aranza to find out where Sonia lived. Isa doesn't agree with Ara living with Sonia. Art is not happy.
Sonia tells Ara it's a nightmare being a kept woman. Depending on a man is horrible. She has to put up with all kinds of humiliations because she didn't listen to her dad and get an education. Thank goodness Eugenia left Ara a fideicomiso so she could get ahead and do something with her life. Ara thinks her aunt is right. She will talk to her dad about the fideicomiso and move out tomorrow.
Art is mad about Isa seeing Ara. Isa thinks Sonia is bad influence. Art thinks it's time Ara grows up. Sonia can't be a bad influence if Ara as the values he raised her with. She knows right from wrong. She's a mature young adult. Isa asks why he's changed his tune all of the sudden. For the longest time all he seemed to think was that Ara was a capricious twit just like tofie said. Marcela must be the one changing his mind. (Honestly I think that was a bit of a stretch.) It bothers Isa that that woman has convinced him it's ok for Ara to leave and go live with Sonia. (I smell an edited scene.)
Dafne meanwhile has made herself comfy in Ara's room and asks Lucha why mommy and daddy are fighting.
Art doesn't think there is anything wrong with talking to Marcela about his daughter. Isa doesn't like that she's become his confidante in such a short time. Art doesn't want to fight and neither does Isa.
Mari finds Dan.
Ara asks Art about the trust fund. Art is mad about Sonia blabbing. The trust fund was for Ara's wedding...not a capricious twit. Eugenia wanted it to be her wedding present. Ara is touched that her mom thought of her wedding day. She asks if Art is going to her mass. They will see each other there. Hug.
Bruno tells Tita to stay off the bike.
FeVier plants camera's in Sonia's apartment so he'll have evidence against the Raisin.
Sonia offers to stay with Dan and relieve Cuca. Don Gil isn't sure if Dan will like that idea. Don Gil will let her know.
The bikers tell Padre about Tita's accident.
FeVier is at Casa Arte to talk to Mau about new security software. Mau is not in, but he can talk to Gaby. One more test and he hopes Gaby doesn't recognize him.
Ara visits Eugenia's grave. She misses her. Isa is also there. She was putting flowers on Miguel's grave and she comes to Eugenia's grave every year. She's gone often in the past, especially when she and Ara fought. Isa asked Eugenia to help her from heaven. (I hope you feel like doo doo Ara.)
Gaby says FeVier reminds her of someone. He says Isa mentioned the same thing and what terrible luck to remind them of such a bad guy. Gaby is not interested in FeVier's software. He gives her the creeps.
Isa calls Lucha and asks her to clean the nursery. Lucha tearfully tells her they cleared everything out.
Avances
- Dafne is a little snake.
- Sonia betrays FeVier.
- Art wants to know more about Ara's boyfriend.

I agree, Borlas is dead to me too. What a coward. I will do a happy dance when he is thrown in jail with his crooked buddies.
Tonight was the only time that Sonia has ever been truthful by giving Ara the advice of not depending on a man.
I'm glad that Tita will be okay but Bruno really needs to grow up. It looks like Osvy will forgive Tita. I'm glad that they cleared that up.
I love Rodolfo as the Raisin.
I have a feeling that Gaby knows who Baldy is. She just needs the proof that Feo is not dead.
I am glad that Tita is ok and I'm sure Bruno will come around soon and chill out about the motorcycle group.
If the trust fund is intended as a wedding gift, can Ara just choose to get it whenever she wants, without marriage?
Dafne - I too got the impression The Duck is eyeballing Art
Ducks Dad - that didn't go well
The Three Stooges - you beat down Don Gils son fools
ABrat - gonna elope or church wedding, guapa
Bruno the Clown - just can't help yourself can you
Art - butthole
Isabel - she ain't really listening and your husband a butthole, good luck with that
Tita - gotta be me. I gotta be me
Ossie - you listening?
Gabi - Oh come on it's FERNANDO!
Sonia - leach
Poor Daniel!
Like you and Tablet jefa, I was extremely upset about Borlas. Stolen goods are one thing but actively and cruelly beating someone to a pulp is something else all together. One minute he is a caring and loving character, embracing the children and the next a street thug? Too big of a leap for me, the writers made a misstep here. Sadly, I agree Borlas is dead to me as well.
Tita's newfound passion will keep her energized and happy. Osvy should go along for the ride (so to speak)...
Bruno is starting to annoy me. What a snob! Think both Ally and Gaby deserve better. Speaking of them, Ally's storyline isn't what I was expecting. I thought she was going to be revealed to be nasty and/or have some secret agenda that would put the steps in motion to clear the path for Gaby and Bruno to be together. But, now that she is getting involved in Tita's world, I like her. It will be interesting to see where this goes.
Gaby's instincts about Javier were spot on. She and Isa both are clearly repulsed by him. Can they put two and two together??
At least Javier's spying reveals Sonia betrays him. Let's hope their is a deep chism there which will quickly lead to the revelation of who he really is.
Sara, thanks again for this wonderful recap.
Diana
Tita can't let Bruno make her close the Batcave!
Plot hole: Those cameras installed by FeVier will need to have their batteries changed frequently. How is he going to do that?
More later; gotta go out now.
Borlas being sad at the thought he lost his best friend was understandable. But the truth is Borlas' attack was savage. I just can't connect this very violent act with the sweet soul that we had become accostomed to. It was too much of a departure, too heinous an act for this character.
Diana
Aranza: you're a stupid girl who doesn't know better because once all of the secrets regarding Sonia and Feo are revealed, Aranza will be super devastated.
Daphne eyeballing Art ? I didn't see that. She's too busy googling over Esteban.
Did anyone see the scene where Art and Daphne's father were going at it?
When it is all over what will she actually lose? Those left standing will welcome her back with open arms and everyone live happily ever after including Esteban. The proper consequence should be expulsion at best but why not she get caught up in a scam and end up behind bars? I would be ok with that. Aranza is not some young girl that has made a few mistakes in judgement but can be flat ass wicked. Sonia suggested the 10 year old Aranza damage 5 outfits but she cut to shreds everything in the closet and threw in on the floor. And the lunatic adult (I use that term very loosely)reduces a baby crib to kindling. If she were a man, as Borlas, why wouldn't she also beat someone to a pulp in a rage.
Girl got it easy and Art can't even provide tough love because she has a cushy trust fund feather bed to land on. (Can't wait till Fernando gets his hands on it) She made her bed, lie in it
If there is any ambiguity I don't like her at all and see nothing worth redeeming
Tofie- your lists make me laugh everyday. Please keep them coming.
UA- the batcave- awesome!
Vivi- the attack stemmed from jealousy but was brutal.
Diana- I agree- the attack was brutal and although I definitely get Vivi's reasoning, she may change her mind when she sees the episode.
I'll start out with the beating---
it was brutal, three against one,
Den didn't have a chance. If he comes out of this with just a couple of bruises---I'll scream. Kicks to the face, he should have facial fractures along with several broken ribs. Even when it was clear that Daniel was finished
and defeated, they didn't stop. The beating hurt me just watching it on TV and I was all comfy last night. One thing for sure---If Borlas ever thought that he had a chance with Mari, he lost it last night. Good guy Borlas no more.
Talking about three---When Dafne cried and hugged Art last night, I was buying it but three times??
After the third time I was saying QUE!! what's going on here.
Sara said that the advances show Dafne as a little snake. What? I thought that So-not was the snake.
Is it possible that we have a big snake and a little snake?
How did So-not betray FeVier?
Tofie---Tita-gotta be me, I gotta be me. --- Gabi-Oh come on, it's
Fernando --- Sonia-leach ---ABrat-
gonna elope or church wedding guapa
If I switch over to Cuban coffee,
will I be able to write like you?
Vivi---Great perspective/insight on mentoring in this novela.
It's only Saturday morning and I can't wait for Monday noche.
the gringo
Tofie, you may be right that Aranza might regain all she has/will lose/lost. In contrast, Isa has suffered a tragic loss with the death of her son that she will never get over. Although Ara isn't responsible, Ara has caused a lot of emotional and psychological damage, among other things, treating Isa despicably for years. Although I do not care for her, I am afraid for what will happen to her as her relationship with Javier progresses. NO one deserves him. Sigh.
Diana
The odds alone ensured Daniel had no chance. And yes, the beating went on long after he was bloody and battered. Hoping for a nice, long incarceration for all 3.
Diana
CD-I don't have any proof, but I just get a hinky feeling about Dafne when she is with Art. Maybe it really is that she just wants a dad...but I feel icky when she starts glomming on him. She still wants Este, too. She even asked FeVier if he had any single friends. Ew.
gringo-the voiceover during the avances called Dafne a little snake (I think.)
OT for gringo: I read today that there are 200 episodes planned for La Gata with room for extensions if the audience reacts favorably. 200??? That's a lot....
Episode 90 aired in Mexico last night. I know we won't catch up, but is it possible that we'll get close enough that we won't be subjected to these edits anymore? It ends May 4 in Mexico, is it at all possible that Univision will decide to air unedited episodes at some point?
up the screen. Now if Anahi and Dulce Maria can pull in a lead role.
Tofie---A colada? Will that help me write one liners like you do?
You're becoming a star on the PSMA
blog. I'm jealous.
I couldn't believe Bruno last night---he wouldn't shake hands.
Are people in Mexico that class conscious?
the gringo
Tofie, this scenario reminds me of La Verdad Oculta where one of the young women, who was a very Aranza-like character and who was responsible for her uncle's death, ended up with a cute guy, a great career, support from the family and a great house. I loved LVO, but that part of the ending just sucked. She deserved some kind of punishment.
Bullfeathers to that.
As an aside, I described Tita's storyline to a friend who doesn't watch this and she was very amused at the idea of a 65-year-old widow biker babe with accomplices behind her wussy son's back.
Our boy Dan beat nearly to death the latest and for good measure let Sonia at em too to pick his bones
People have been saying that So-not betrayed FeVier. Sonia is a pretty tough cookie but if she has betrayed FeVier there will be a price to pay. I wouldn't want to be in So-not's shoes, Fever is cold blooded. They have to turn on each other at some point or how else will Aranza learn the truth about her mother's death?
the gringo
1.) Feo
2.) Sonia
3.) Efrain
4.) Dante
5.) Gonzo
6.) Borlas
and likely many more.
Cuca and the Padre are likely going to be targeted down the road, y'all watch!
Sonia, I expect, knows this is a possibility and will take steps to best him instead and/or work on a plan B. One plan B is her fall back Don Gil and doubt she wants the complications caused by Mari exposed as her child. A wildcard is Fernando's recent but continued rebuff of her sexual advances as he works ABrat and Isa. Could the Snake become jealous as well as frustrated?
If he finds out Sonia is double dealing him (or whatever) he will probably stay quiet about it and drop a bomb on her when she least expects it.
Why should I care about what happens to the snake???
Urban---Yes you are right, it's too early for anything major to happen.
Sara---Blackmail the Raisin? I believe you are right. Feo is shrewd he's thinking ahead. The Raisin might be good at running a business but he doesn't know who he is dealing with.
Sara---You had better start saving up for a new television because when El Gato starts, Maite
and Daniel will burn up the screen
Conservative---That's a good list
but I think that Gonzo should be in front of Dante, don't you?
the gringo
Something else bothers me a little and hope someone can help. Duck Dad runs over to Arts to get The Duck already angry with Duck Mom for letting her go and not telling him. Why did Art jump on the guy so quickly? Yes, Duck Dad lacks tact but it is his daughter, they are adults and could have talked this through. Instead we have Art throwing him out like he did Esteban defending the waif.
to leave with him
the gringo
Art has been ticked off at Dafne's dad for a long time-- he expressed his outrage to Isa many episodes ago. So I'm not surprised to hear that he went off on the guy when he was finally in front of him.
