Sonia totally poisoned the Padre. 1 down, 2 to go (Cuca and Mari).
 

Though it does not surprise me that Sonia poisoned the Padre, I have gotten to the point where both he and Cuca are too dumb to live. I am sorry if I sound harsh but their continued, useless hand wringing and doing nothing for help Mari as a child and their continued trust in Sonia to do the right thing is so unrealistic for grown people with any intelligence.
 

Thanks Vivi, I wasn't able to watch the whole episode but thought that Sucia has something terrible to do with it.
Karen- I agree, I feel bad but Cuca and the Padre were acting too silly for me.
 

They didn't make it explicit in this Uni cut, but we did see Sonia ply Padre with multiple cups of coffee, smirk as she saw him starting to get ill, and gave him taxi fare so that he could be as far away from her apartment as possible when he finally expired. But the biggest sign that she did him in is that she promised to reveal the truth right away. We know she has no such intention. Nothing is going to keep her from becoming Mrs. de la Riva.

I guess she doesn't have to kill Mari if she finds a way to shut Cuca up. And she doesn't seem all that bothered by the incest. However, she doesn't know that Tita also knows her secret. Watch out, Tita!
 

I like how Andy and Mau continue to be a happy stable couple, even as they deal with the Meanie-Gemma mess. It was nice to see them interacting with Este this episode, listening and giving him advice about the Dafne-Cris mess he got himself into. Unfortunately, we know Feo has plans to destroy their lives too, and part of that will be getting Este in legal trouble with that job.

I didn't like how confident Feo was about using Ara's return home to his advantage. Plus, he has his man on the inside, Dante.
 

On last night:

1.) Not shocked that the Padre is getting killed off, knew too much.

2.) Tita better WATCH HER BACK because if Sonia knows that Tita knows about Mari being het kid, she'll kill Tita by arranging a robbery or sniper.

3.) Aranza: You are still STUPID because Feo is playing your butt.

4.) Odds that Gaby lets Art and Isabel raise her baby when it's born.

5.) Meanie's going to be caught sooner or later. I can't wait for Mau and Andrea to kick her to the curb .

This TN is like Dirty Harry's The Dead Pool with the victims pilling up:

Thanks for the highlights Tablet jefa. Although in this instance, the events were certainly the "lowlights". Sigh.

Vivi, thanks for confirming my growing suspicion that Sonia was responsible for the poisoning. I was also extremely frustrated with the Padre and Cuca, but I had hoped a sharp blow to the head to knock some sense into them might have sufficed(?) I think this is proof positive that Sonia is as calculating and cold blooded a killer as Feo.

I'm not sure why Feo agreed to return Ara home. Was it just to curry favor with Art and Isa so he might be perceived as "trustworthy". I thought the horrified look on Isa's face when he put his arms around her waist when she attempted (feebly) to hug him was well done. She is chilled the bone. I hope she is able to put things together before even more damage is done...

I still cannot understand how Feo can do what he is doing to his own son. Likewise Sonia and Mari. These two deserve horrifying ends. I shouldn't say it, but I did.

It was awful watching Sono smirking as the clueless padre drank that witch's brew and felt sick. The final straw was Sono reaching into her wallet to give him cab fare to get him away from the scene of the crime. She is a stone cold killer with a big anvil hovering directly above her.

I am also chilled and annoyed watching that grinning asshat Favier as he manipulates the chess pieces confident that he is cleverer than anyone. Hey, Loser, your anvil is probably even bigger than Sono's. I can't wait for those anvils to drop...SPLAT and adios.

Thanks to the person who coined the name Estebonbon. Perfecto. Ara is the perfect example of someone who has it all...beauty, wealth, great parents, a hot novio...and throws it all away . She will get all the good things back in the end , but she will suffer the bad choices she has made.

I want Gaby to keep her baby. I want Isa and Art to adopt the orphans.
 

It has been said by some that they can't wait to see Feo's evil smirk erased from his face by a big novela anvil. I'm with you guys on that. Several have mentioned how evil FeVier looks when he lowers his shiny bald head and looks up over the tops of his eyes. Yes that's an evil look for sure but for me, Dominika Paleta has the best/most evil smirk I have ever seen. She drives me half crazy when she brings it on---you know,
when she is somehow able to put that innocent look into her blue eyes and at the same time that half smirk comes on her face as if to say, I did it but no one absolutely no one will be able to prove it. I'm innocent, just look into my eyes. I have never seen an actor or another actress pull that combination look of both evil and innocent off to the PERFECTION that Dominika can, it's chilling--chilling perfection

Urban---Maybe evil looks/smirks could be the topic for a future weekend discussion.

It was sooo considerate of Sonia to provide cab fare after poisoning her victim. What a classy touch. Evil, evil, evil. I'm sure Sonia said that she was being forced to "cozy up to a brat that isn't even mine". So Mari's NOT her kid. I kind of thought so because the writer's let the Mari/Dan relationship go too far. So maybe poor unloved psycho Dafne could be her kid?
 

I am confused. How does Sono know for sure that Mari is not hers. If Mari is not Soni's daughter, why didn't she just tell padre and Cuca that ? I suppose Cuca's name has moved to The top of Sono's hit list now.
 

Susanlynn, That's what the English captions said, "I'm being forced to cozy up to a brat that isn't mine". Did anyone else catch that?

Remember that Cuca claims it was Sonia that dumped the baby, but she only saw a "blonde woman". So we don't really know for sure it was Sonia who dumped the baby Mari.
 

Kathy- I don't use the captions so I didn't see that written. Did she say it out loud or think it? And yes, why would she play along with Padre and Cuca if Mari isn't hers? Unless she did something worse to her baby, that she doesn't want to admit-- killed her/him.

It would be awfully coincidental for another blond woman to dump a baby in Sonia's family church, just when Sonia was supposed to be giving birth.
 

I watched the show last night. I wouldn't miss it for anything but I didn't see So-not put anything in the padre's coffee. Did I miss it? Maybe I left for a minute to get some ice cream.

Dafne cannot be Sonia's child-- she's older and has her own set of rotten parents, who already confirmed they only got married because they got knocked up.
 

Kathy and Vivi: I read the captions in Spanish, and I also read that Sonia said that Mari was not her daughter.
 

Aleta, Let me get this straight: if Mari is NOT Sonia's daughter, then who in the hell is Mari's mother ?

Conservative Democrat- Unless Ally is lying about never having stepped foot in Mexico before Bruno brought her, and she had a baby when she was a teenager, I think we can cross her off the list of possible suspects for Mari's mom. Sonia's the only viable blond suspect around, so I really don't know where the writers are going if somehow Sonia isn't Mari's mom.

It would be great for Mari and Dan though if this somehow ends up being the case, because right now, they are in for a world of hurt and anguish when they find out they're related.
 

I remember when Aranza was in the car accident Sonia was actually concerned, and I thought it was odd since she doesn't have a soul. Maybe, just maybe, she switched Aranza and Mari if she and Eugenia were pregnant at the same time. She would have access to the baby and that way her kid could be raised in wealth, on her cousin's bill. I'm just spitballing, but are Aranza and Mari the same age? I already forgot how old Aranza is.
 

If Mari wasn't Sonia's child why didn't she just shut it down early with Padre and Cuca? She could have told Cuca she lost the child or some other lie. I still think Mari is Sonia's

Maddy- Mari is not yet 18. Aranza turned 21 when this story started and all her friends are the same age. They are all too old to be Sonia's child.
 

I should say Ara turned 21 when the story started after the time jump.
 

Maybe if Mari is not Sono's daughter we will never know who abandoned Mari as a baby, but we should find out what happened to Sono's baby.

In this episode, Sonia definitely said (under her breath) that Mari is not her child. This was already heavily implied in two previous scenes weeks ago. The first was when the padre initially began talking to Sonia about Daniel and Mari, and Sonia had a very puzzled expression. We could hear her inner thoughts, which were something like, "What on earth is he talking about?" It was clear to me that she was surprised that the padre thought Mari was her daughter, but, for whatever reason, Sonia decided not to clear up his misconception. In a later episode, Sonia was confiding in that girlfriend of hers (BTW, do we know that woman's name?), and she mentioned something about the padre and Mari. The friend then reminded her that the padre "didn't know the real story (or the truth)," and Sonia agreed, but quickly shut down the conversation, as though she feared being overheard.
 

I kind of stopped watching Por Siempre ,a lot of time ago,how did Feo turn bald and how does Isabel not recognize him as her former husband by his voice,did he mindblow her by saying he is Feos twin brother or something?
 

I have lots of to catch up,i love Robo i completly ignored Por Siempre for a few months..
