Por Siempre Mi Amor US #52 2/14/14-Worst Valentine's Day Ever
I have no idea what Mexican capitulos we got tonight. The notes that follow are based on what was aired by Univision. I'll flesh it out more tomorrow.
- Osvi and Tita plan to announce their engagement, but Art takes a page from Bruno's book (How To Be a Jerk and Alienate Loved Ones by T. Inpunchbowl) and spills all of Osvi's dirty laundry beans. Osvi has a son AND he never acknowledged him or gave him his name. Osvi swears he tried to take responsibility, but Katia disappeared and only recently showed up. Tita is devastated, breaks up the party and asks Osvi to leave.
- FeVier acts like a jealous girl and tells Ara if she's so bothered by Este seeing them together, then she should go console him.
- Ara confronts Ileana about letting Este in their room. Ileana swears it was Dafne and that she kept her word and didn't say a word about FeVier showing up. Ara doesn't believe her. Later Ileana confronts Dafne, who denies she did anything wrong.
- Este pouts and Chris encourages him to forget the capricious twit. (I'll rewatch and add more detail tomorrow.)
- Ara begs for FeVier's forgiveness. He says if she wants to be with him it needs to be foreverzzz.
- Este is broken-hearted about Aranza. Dafne swoops in to console him. According to Dafne, Ara never loved Este and he deserves better. Ara doesn't deserve him. She tells him any girl would want to be with him. When he asks who she confesses "Well, I sure would" and asks him to giver her a chance. Este thinks she's pretty and all but his heart belongs to Ara. After he leaves, Dafne declares (to herself) that she wants everything of Ara's including Este.
- Nick arrives in Spain and is immediately detained for the death of his wife. Nick thinks they don't have proof. Blah Blah Blah about autopsy. (I'll rewatch and add details tomorrow.) All the money issues he was dealing with in Mexico was just a trap of the Spanish gov't to get him to come to Spain. Meanwhile in Mexico, Gaby is worried sick and knows something awful has happened.
- Osvi confronts Katia. What they had is a thing of the past. It's O.V.E.R. Katia is still in love with Osvi. She's mad that he thinks he can fix everything with money. All she ever wanted was for him to marry her...something he will never do. Osvi tells her she's going to have to deal with the fact that she rejected his help and support for the child all those years ago.
- Art gives Osvi a chance to tell his side. According to Osvi he loved his wife dearly, but he and Katia had a passionate affair and she wanted him to leave his wife and marry her. He never stopped loving Art's mother. He offered to help support his son, but Katia rejected his help.
- Sonia is tired of FeVier having power over her. Fab is her best escape. She has to find those pictures. (I'll rewatch and add details tomorrow.)
- Mau discovers his watches missing and Min suggests that Gema must have stolen them. She brings up the incident with Isa years ago. Min encourages Mau to search Gema's room. He hesitates, but finally relents.
- Katia tells Fab his father is not dead and she's lied to him all his life.

Art showed a remarkable lack of tact and discretion - of course he should have confronted Osvi privately. I felt very bad for Tita who certainly didn't need the secret to be revealed in front of everyone on an occasion she thought and hoped would be a joyous one.
I did initially feel for Osvi but he did bring this on himself. As you wrote Sara: "According to Osvi he loved his wife dearly, but he and Katia had a passionate affair...". Well, there you have it. He loved his wife but cheated...
Tita was not the only one sucker punched - poor Fab is also on the receiving end of some shocking news. "Katia tells Fab his father is not dead and she's lied to him all his life".
I keep staring at Feo and I'm sorry, but I feel he is repulsive. I see no charm, no warmth, nothing at all that would make me want to befriend him, let alone romance him. Eeewww...
Did Nick really murder his wife?? I'm rather lost with this story. If he did, I would think he would have been smart enough not to return to Spain...
I think the previews also showed Isa and Art meeting Ara's new beau. This will certainly not bode well.

Art flat makes me mad every-time he opens his mouth. Sanctimonious dunce. Guess Art got his temper and impulsiveness from his mother because Osvi nor Fab seem to have those traits.
At least Osvi took it like a man and willing to accept the consequences. That in no way excuses cheating on his wife nor do I believe he still loved this wife as he strayed. That's a cop out
I can't understand why the whole Nick in espana even had to happen. He is intended to keep Gabi occupied and unavailable for Bruno but he could have just fallen into a manhole and disappeared. Same results
As unappealing as he is, I accept as normal and believable his union with someone like Aranza and/or Sonia. I never thought that about the Andy or Isabel pairing.

The whole loss of her engagement ring was a bit silly. I'm also not sure whether she should have dumped Osvaldo so quickly and so publicly.
However, the histrionics go with the territory.
Osvaldo made a horrible mistake, but Katia expecting him to marry her now is loca. She's going to be his Marilooney (MPV).
Please, Televisa, no more sex scenes with FeVier. Univision, you have my permission to censor those, OK? Just leave the ones from LQLVMR alone.

I totally forgot to throw another rotten apple at Minerva for trying to frame Gema for the theft of Mauricio's watches and the other jewelry. How long is it going to be before he and Andrea discover her gambling and that she's faking her bad leg?
MINE, MINE, MINE believes she is entitled to everything in the apartment. Gema is a convenient dupe and bet MINE has planted some evidence in her room. Only thing she is concerned about is getting caught.

Tofie---I agree, Iliana had fire Friday night, I'm liking her more and more. Her confrontation with the duck brought back memories for me. All the way back to Clase 406 a teenage novela in which Sherlyn stood up to a very strong
outspoken Anahi in defense of her teacher who Anahi was bringing charges against. I already liked Sherlyn but after she stood up to Anahi, [kinda the way Iliana stood up to the duck] that
cemented it for me---I was a Sherlyn fan from then on.
I would like to know the argument
between the two. Iliana didn't back down. It has been said that Dafne is a bully but that didn't deter her, Iliana has spunk when she needs it---I like her. Too bad that she didn't get the lead role.
One thing that I thought was strange about the whole BIG argument---they were in the lobby of a first classed resort screaming at each other and no one from the resort came over to ask them to quiet down. What's with that?
Ozzie is now paying the price for his past mistake. How many times in history has a man been brought down by the charms of a beautiful women? Don't get mad at me, I'm just asking but the question is always there in situations like this and should be asked.

gringo, ABrat saw Ileana first and chewed on her about sending Esteban to the room. She told her she didn't do it but the twit didn't believe it and stalked off to continue her romp with Uncle Feo. Ileana then saw Dafne and jumped her for the ass chewing from ABrat and Dafne played innocent.

I want Este to move on, but I DON'T want him to move on with Dafne. Unfortunately, it looks like Dafne will be successful eventually.
I felt bad for Tita to be blindsighted like that, but as soon as Katia came knocking on his door and making threats about telling the people he knew, Os should have taken it on himself to tell Art and Tita. He brought this on himself.
