Lo Que La Vida Me Robó, #86, 3-12-2014, Pedro vicariously gets his groove on; Nadia and Montserrat fall into a trap to slander José-Luis
At least the pigeons always seem happy. |
Nadia and Pedro’s Mansion, Agua Azul:
Latest recruits on Team Pedro stand their ground in the face of Nadia's snarkiness |
Nadia notes Alfie and María’s closeness and wants to know if there’s something going on between them. Alfie says what if there were—and what’s it to Nadia anyway, and Nadia informs him that nothing good will come of his being with a tipa like María. At this moment Victor walks in, calling Nadia “Mi Amor.” María has a big ol' ironic laugh seeing them together, though Adolfo seems to be shocked and quickly is back at Nadia for her hypocrisy saying that she should watch what she says to Alfie since nothing good is going to come of her being with an idiot like Victor. Alfie wonders what Pedro would do it he found out about Nadia and Victor, but Nadia informs him that Pedro knows everything. Adolfo can't believe Pedro doesn't care.
FYI, our adulterous relationship has been officially sanctioned by the municipality |
Now it’s Victor’s turn to ask questions and he wants to know where María has been—Ale has been looking for her. She says who cares since Ale just wants to put her away in some mental clinic and she’s not going.
The Flash Drive to Rule Them All! |
He says the flash drive contains detailed information gathered by the police about a drug-trafficking organization that is currently being investigated and is working on the coasts in the area. Pedro claims that if Ale and Don Joaquín were growing illegal crops, it’s because they had someone in mind to whom to sell them and maybe J-L can find his name in the information. He wants J-L to look through the information carefully and settle the matter of whether Ale is innocent or guilty as soon as possible.
But I remember how this SAME WOMAN came in towards the middle of Amor Bravio and really messed with that show's mojo. |
Ale wants to know what OTHER secrets Cervera is guarding on Don B’s behalf and to remember that he (Cervera) now works for Ale. Cervera says that everything that Ale’s father told him was in confidence and assures Ale that he will protect Ale’s interests and confidence in the same way; however, if Ale has his doubts, he’s perfectly within his rights to find another lawyer. Ale backs off here and assures Cervera that he (Ale) is grateful for his loyalty and understands his reasons.
Why can't Padre A. let us fornicate in peace? |
Should we still watch The Colbert Report at 11:30 or should we give Jimmy Fallon a shot? |
But all of a sudden, María seems to get an bright new evil idea. She comments that Pedro’s own wife is Montse’s best friend. Pedro says, yeah, so what? María explains that she thinks that Pedro should work to plant some bad ideas about J-L in Nadia’s mind and then Nadia will of course go and tell Montse. Pedro seems a little slow on the uptake initially, but María explains to him something about how if they can convince Ale and Montse that J-L is working against Ale then things will go badly between them all and then maybe Ale and J-L will start fighting about Montse all over again. (Boy, I know we'd all excited to see some more of that old storyline!)
Unlike Pedro, the Patio must be content with only G-rated voyeurism tonight |
Some pool-side restaurant, Agua Azul: Over dinner, Victor and Nadia (good second fiddles that they are) also discuss Alejandro’s current awful situation and the charges against him. Victor tells Nadia that Ale is certain Pedro is behind everything and asks Nadia what she knows about the relationship between Don Joaquín and Pedro. Nadia tells him that Don J. and Pedro have known each other along time but that usually Don J. just called on the phone and wasn’t often at the house. Victor wants to know if she heard anything suspicious anytime Don J. was around, and she says no, that Pedro is always very discreet. Victor says they can’t allow Ale to go to jail since he is innocent, and Nadia promises that if she hears anything, she will let them know immediately.
Joaquín prepares for his make-over |
Mansion Mendoza: Josefina wants to know again where DIM Is headed off to so early in the morning, and he maintains he is looking for work and is in a rush because he has his first meeting in 20 minutes. She says okay but promises to do whatever she can to resolve their current situation. In the meantime, she hates to see him go off without having breakfast and then gives him a little something she made for him to eat on the way so he won't get hungry.
Adolfo works his second rate props, not complaining that Pedro got the tequila |
Pedro wonders why Alfie is surprised; after all, not only did Ale take J-L’s woman, Ale also wanted to kill J-L. Pedro tells Adolfo that J-L is in charge of the investigation is and going to falsify evidence to use again Ale. Adolfo comments that now he also understands what María told him.
Josefina tells DIM she went to talk with her brother. DIM assumes this means she’s leaving with Tomás for Mexico City, but she says, of course not—she went to beg him to renounce the power of attorney. DIM tells her to please not beg her brother. She says that things can’t stay this way, and that she wants the money so that DIM will be happy. DIM says he doesn’t want Josefina to help Gracie or him. He’s just sorry she has to go through all of this because of him and asks her to forgive him. She says this must mean that DIM cares for her, at least a little. DIM says it’s not that he doesn’t care for her, but that he’s not doing well and can’t give her what she deserves. He tells her it’s best that she goes with Tomás—to regain her life and be happy. She's not used to a life of misery. She say he's not, either, but he says that his problems are HIS problems, not hers. But she says again, the only thing she wants is to be with him whenever and wherever he wants because she loves him. Touched, he leans in for a kiss.
Not much heat but still progress! |
So you say it's someone I slept with once, wanted to run away with on my wedding day, and used to claim was the love of my life? Gosh, you've stumped me, Nadia! |
Nadia states the obvious, “It’s José-Luis Álvarez!”
It's not me--it's the man pretending to be my lawyer |
Alejandro informs her the documents are authentic. She counters this with a well, if they ARE authentic then Ale shouldn’t have a problem showing both of the wills to her. Ale says OK, the lawyer can get her copies. She says she wants to the ORIGINALS, and for a moment it looks like Fab might be winning the argument when Ale proves his brain really is still working after all and informs her that he doesn’t think this will happen. It’s fine with Ale, of course, but it just so happens that HIS lawyer tends not to trust anyone either.
It's not me--it's that I have all the money and a REAL LAWYER |
Mansion Mendoza: Nadia and Montse hug goodbye and Montse thanks Nadia for her help. After Nadia leaves, Mac asks Montse if she’s ready to go, but she says, no, that she still needs to talk to her Tía Carlotta and goes back in while Macario continues waiting outside. But back in the house, it seems that Montse has already formed some kind of crazy plan of her own that no doubt has to involve José-Luis. She hesitates in the hall, seems agitated and uncertain and then finally sneaks out the back door in the kitchen, making sure Macario, who is conveniently praying at the garden shrine at just that moment, doesn’t see her skulking across the garden.
Montse regresses to behavior from Episode One |
It seems he’s about to do it as a dare, but, now embarrassed Josefina stops him and they goof around a bit. He takes her hand and says, “Let’s go!”
Uni-brows growing more united |
Carcel, Agua Azul: Don Joaquin, sporting his new prison-wear, is escorted into an interrogation room, where Pedro waits for him, smoking his supremely stuffed pipe. Pedro wants Joaquin to call to get everything ready to frame Alejandro. Joaquin wonders what Pedro will do if he (Joaquin) refuses to do this? Pedro says how can he explain it to Joaquin, but Joaquin is collateral damage. The person Pedro needs to destroy is Alejandro. If Joaquin doesn’t cooperate, his daughters will suffer. Sad, angry, and resigned look from Joaquin.
Open Question to the Patio: Is it just me or is there something about this shot that also reminds you a little of the movie poster of The Graduate? |
José-Luis and Angélica’s House, Agua Azul: J-L sits at his laptop, diligently making his way through the copious amounts of drug-trafficking intel that Pedro gave him.
“So it’s true! You ARE trying to find evidence against Ale to put him away in prison!”
Indignant, possibly secretly flattered, over what J-L's unwavering desire for her has seemingly wrought |
End of Episode:
Avances: Agua Azul's finest, led by Basurto, draw guns on the beach in what looks like a big operation. The evil guy on the Flash Drive to Rule Them All appears suddenly in person (did I call it or what?) with a briefcase full of cash to give to Ale. Horrified Ale tries to refuse, but Evil guy also has a gun.

Thank you so very much for this absolutely fabulous recap and superb screen shots of this episode. It's a sparking gem!
Ay, Yi, Yi, how much more creepy can Pedro get????? My eyes, my eyes! It was like watching a horror movie, ewwwwww, just ewwwwwww! And that little chat with BM afterwards. She really knows how to cover her a$$ doesn't she?
Too bad Monse didn't remember how much BM lies about everything. Then she wouldn't be doubting JL so much. That was the perfect setup I must say. Too bad Nadia went and told Monse as Pedro and Addled both knew she would. Sigh!
Mac does know more than he's saying. He gave Fabiola such a strange look.
Fabiola sure was pushy! If I were Ale I would have been really suspicious of her, and I'm glad he is letting his lawyer, the real one, handle all of this. He does have some brain cells thank goodness!
Ah, Dimmy and Fina are so cute. I am glad they had that little talk, and that kiss. I especially liked the kiss because this time Dimmy didn't make that ewwww face and just kissed her. It was very sweet, and I think he is starting to fall in love with her. I too wonder what type of career she had before giving it up. It will be interesting to find out. I hope Dimmy does get some type of job.
Graceless is just horrid, and I hope whatever Graceless tells Fina in the future, just rolls off Fina's back. Fina, I don't think, is as cowed by Graceless as she thinks. OT: How ironic that when DC was in Una Familia Con Suerte her name was Josefina, they called her Pina.
I do feel bad for Joaquin now. Poor guy being threatened by the evil Pedro to harm his daughters. I hope Pedro's anvil is huge! Pedro gives me the creepy, crawlies.
Julia R:
I really loved the line about this flash drive to rule them all. I thought of the episode of "Big Bang Theory", lol. Thanks again Julia R, for this fantastic recap and the humor and wit you always insert in your recaps!
Your recap is an exquisite read, very well-written and thorough. Thank you! It must have taken you quite a while to write such a detailed recap and load all the pictures too. I really appreciate it.
You had me laughing out loud with your "Could it be that annoying Padre Anselmo yet again, stalking them to save their souls from mortal sin--and ruin the consensual sexual fun?" But then Oh man, that skulking in the bedroom...ICK I say! He is a true creepazoid.
It sure wasn't hard to trick Nadia. I'm afraid she's a bit of an airhead.
I can't wait to find out was Fina's career was/is.
Your recap was the bomb. Thank you so much. And the screen shots were awesome; loved every one of them. Thanks for your attention to detail and for the time you took to add all the extras. Please know that it is greatly appreciated.
Here were some of my favs:
"FYI, our adulterous relationship has been officially sanctioned by the municipality."
"But I remember how this SAME WOMAN came in towards the middle of Amor Bravio and really messed with that show's mojo."
"Gotta get your kicks somehow when you don't have genitalia"
"Unlike Pedro, the Patio must be content with only G-rated voyeurism tonight"
"Joaquín prepares for his make-over"
"Uni-brows growing more united"
"Bad Guy no doubt coming soon to an Episode Near You"
Pedro is not only evil, but he's creepy too. It's amazing how much power he has over everyone in Aguazul. He even has Robledo thinking he's an honest guy.
I must admit that it was pretty easy to fool Nadia, and in turn make Montse fall into BM & Pedro's trap. I am sure that Ale won't like the fact that Montse went to see JL, but by the look of the avances, he's got bigger problems. I am sure that Faby and Sandro will try to take advantage of the fact that Ale is in some hot water.
Favorite part of the epi was Fina and Dimi. They are just lighting up the screen. I really felt like Dimi was being sincere. I think that because he cares for Fina and is starting to fall for her, he doesn't want to take advantage of her. And he doesn't want anyone else to either. Especially Tomas and Gracie. I like the way she is 'standing by her man', so to speak. I thought it was sweet the way Dimi took Fina by the hand as they strolled away like a couple of newlyweds. Awww!
Julia: BTW, when Fina was talking about looking for a job, she said that even though she hadn't 'used' it, she had completed her degree. I am guessing she has never worked.
Off to bed...hasta pronto!
What I definitely want to see though is once they have some discernible income, Fina and Dim get the blazes out of that house! Graceless needs to be ALONE. She'll go stir crazy not having anyone to demean all day.
The rest of it didn't thrill me and was just mostly set up and showing what we already know: Nadia needs something to do and see a doctor about her Eavesdropping Syndrome habit, Maria and Adolfo are even boring to Pedro ( a supremely ick moment in that bedroom), and Monse needs to think before she acts on the gossip she hears.
Did like that obviously Rosario's radar is at full tilt with Fabs and thankfully Ale had the talk with his lawyer before Fabs started her smarmy questions on the will.
Wait until J-L gets his other surprise: his wife owns the former dance hall. Drugs, questionable dance club, yeah he won't be having a good day.
Daisynjay
The scene with Pedro in the bedroom terrified me, gave me the creeps, and made me laugh at the same time. That Pedro gets creepier every day.
The plan for Natalia was perfect and I don't see any fault with her running to Monse with what she'd heard. That's what Victor asked her to do. Thank goodness she chose to tell Monde, and not Victor or Ale, because surely some violence would have resulted.
Monse knows JL better than most people. It is SHE who shouldn't fall into this trap, just like she refused to believe that Ale knew about the drugs despite what the evidence and Joaquin said. If tonight, she doesn't listen to JL or doesn't believe him when he says Maria is setting him up, then I will blame her, not Natalia.
Fina and Dim were the best part of the episode. Loved their scenes. As AuntyAnn pointed out, Fina was saying she got her degree. In Spanish when someone says they finished their "carrera" they mean they got their degree/finished their studies. So Fina went to and finished university, while Dim did not.
How the hell did Pedro get into that bedroom? Good grief, I think Adolfo will end up with ED for a while after that one. Nobody deserves to have this happen.
As for what will ultimately happen to Pedro I hope it includes lots of public humiliation.
Of course Monse going over to JL's place will cause a fight and I see a prison uniform in Alejandro's immediate future based on those avances. This bitch from Miami and her fake lawyer will be more poison in the stew after that.
I am so tired of seeing Josefina getting abused by Graceless. I guess she makes an easier target now that Monse has told her mother off.
The "creep-out" from last night was of course BM and Adolfo being spied on by Pedro waiting for them to finish up. Almost as creepy was Pedro getting on the bed to talk to BM up close and personal. At the end of the scene he gets even closer and seems to sniff something. Was it her bandages? Very weird and disturbing but entertaining at the same time.
Glad Ale was thinking when Fabiola requested the "originals." Maybe there is some hope for him yet!
I wonder if now that Josefina has confronted Dimitrio he will be returning to contemplate his father's tomb. Will he be leaving his depression for some action?
Jarifa
I realized after I look at it this morning that nearly all my screenshots are pretty blurry. I always take blurry photos, too, so this seems to be my fate. Hope you enjoyed it anyway.
I'm starting to think I reached my peak at a re-capper at episodes 66 and 76, though. This episode was much harder to do and to think of anything interesting/remotely funny to write.
I THINK I might be officially halfway through the run. I really am in awe of the others on my team who have been doing this for a while AND always so well.
AuntyAnn: Thanks so much for helping me on what Josefina said. I heard something that sounded like "terminé mi carrera" but it was only her degree, yes, and she never started a career.
Mads: Was that line used on "BIG BANG THEORY" too? I've never watched the show but all things Lord of the Rings are just in the air.
My best to you all--it's snowing AGAIN in Boston today. Hope things are as sunny as Agua Azul wherever you might be!

Also, don't feel that you have to be funny all the time. Often a series like this has episode where nothing funny happens and there is nothing funny to express. There are certain things in the world that should not be the subject of a joke.
This recap is marvelous from the screen shots, and they are fine just the way they are, to the whole body of the recap. Urban is right that sometimes there is just nothing funny in these capitulos. You always go above and beyond when you do these recaps. This is wonderful and no worries, don't eva feel bad ; )
My fave line of all: "But I remember how this SAME WOMAN came in towards the middle of Amor Bravio and really messed with that show's mojo." It's true! That stupid woman messed with the show's mojo and she is messing up this show's mojo, too.
Maria and Adolfo are really just laughable, unbelievable fools right now. They are predictable and utterly boring.
To see Adolfo (he doesn't deserve the -ito at the end of his name now) in action now tells me that this guy is not going to repent. He is willingly going along with Pedro's evil schemes. Adolfo has no clue as to how far Pedro will go and that includes how far he will go with Adolfo. Adolfo is such a wimp. He will probably run to hide behind Maria's, (the cualquiera), skirts.
Fabiola and her "lawyer" are slime almost on a level equal to Pedro. Not quite, but getting there.
Julia, also agree with Urban's comment to you. We don't expect funny all the time. You have written some incredible recaps and we have enjoyed reading them all!
Fatima
"So you say it's someone I slept with once, wanted to run away with on my wedding day, and used to claim was the love of my life? Gosh, you've stumped me, Nadia!"
Delicious.
I think we are all our own harshest critics... this recap is a a gem.
Pedro may be on a roll right now but this is something that he can't sustain for long because the choices he gives people are just not generous enough to maintain cooperation:
Joaquín was given the choice of prison or harm to his family members.
María was given the choice of death or prison for Alejandro.
I don't exactly recall the deals he offered Adolfo and Dimitrio but they weren't good.
It looks as though he's betrayed the narcotraficante that he's been doing business with (a particularly ba and dangerous decision).
I still think that it will be María who ultimately betrays him and brings him down.
Jarifa, I thought that Pedro sniffed beneath the sheets and then wrinkled his nose slightly.
Carlos
I still have to wonder now what plans Pedro has for Monserrat, who will not sit still at any attempt to seize Alejandro's inheritance.
Rosario's BS detector seems to be working. Good; someone in that house is being clear-headed.
Thanks Julia - hilarious captions!
The more I thought about it the better I liked the idea of Angie and Esme turning La Escondida into a more reputable club. If they change the name to La Guacamaya they could serve the house special, Guacamole a la Guacamaya.
The screenshots looked good to me. Not all of them were able to load but that's my issue not yours. I will walk over and get a better connection later and enjoy ALL the pictures.
I, too, am counting on Maria somehow bringing Pedro down. She has been stupid lately, clouded by her obsession, but early on in the show she had one of the more clever, albeit sinister, minds.
Your recap is a complete delight. If anything, you get sharper fortnightly.
I was especially delighted with the juxtaposition of this:
" It's not me--it's the man pretending to be my lawyer "
and this:
" It's not me--it's that I have all the money and a REAL LAWYER "
Thank you so much. I'm so glad you decided to join this recapping team.
[I'm not thrilled with the direction the story is taking either -- except for the sweet knitting together of our unibrows]
[I still think they need the parrot, though!]
Wouldn't it be great if Josefina's training is in clinical psychology?
Clinical Psychology! Perfect.
In that brief scene anoche it looks like Angelica made good on her promise to buy La Escondida.
Esmeralda will be the headliner. Esmeralda takes Virginia under her wing (as V is despondent that her Daddy is in the penitentiary and abandons her studies). It turns out that Virginia is a natural and becomes a star, packing the place in every night. Dimitrio and Adolfecito work the bar. Josefina gets a complete makeover, looks stunning, and classes up the joint in her capacity as the club greeter. Maria works the tables as barmaid/lap dancer.
Graciela organizes the weekly MILF night fun.
Prosperity for All!
Yes! And they should call the parrot "Nadia" and every time someone is about to speak out of turn, the person looks around and whispers loudly: ¡Nadia nos está escuchando!
Pedro sitting in the dark in the bedroom corner was a surprise. ...a creepy surprise. Yikes I think that the writers are having fun slowly revealing the depths of Pedro's depravity. I thought that he might hold up a card with a score on it after observing the performance. I think that he might have given the happy couple a 3 or 4 at best. I think that as in everything else, Pedro would not be an easy grader.
Hmm....we should make bets on Josefina's degree. I am thinking liberal arts.
Fabulush seems to have packed a couple hats. Macario seems to be looking at her suspiciously. ...maybe it's just the hat.
Carlos...Happy Retirement...Are you enjoying it ?
We missed the snow, but we got high winds and temps in the 20s. However, daughter in Toronto got a lot of snow.
Hey, maybe not so far fetched. How many times have we seen Fina be the quiet voice of reason talking sense into people? I could see it!
I would be surprised to see it be business or accounting. Why in the world would she need to let Tomas have POA rights to handle her finances then? They better not have that be her degree because my beanie may explode then.
Fashion design would probably be out, but how about interior design? She did have a lovely home. Or an art, teaching or nursing degree would be a good fit.
Now I'm anxious to find out. Whatever it is, how amazing will it be to have someone besides Victor actually do a day's work in this group ( besides the poor servants).
Daisynjay
Dim and Fina were the best part of the episode for me. He's melting and she continues to love him in spite of himself.
Pedro is such an out of control villain. His showing up in the bedroom w/Adolfo and Maria was insane; I can see it being spoofed on "The Soup"
Fatima, while I'm not a fan of Adolfo, as Carlos noted, he's in a do-or-die situation w/Pedro.
OT for Nanette & Sylvia, I show RH in my film & tv adaptation class. One of the things I noticed watching that film is how the Disney cartoon version, a favorite from my childhood, parodied the bad guys.
Nadia is pretty but oh so gullible and dumb. Montserrat is running a close second, after being sharp as a tack with Maria. Lastima.
Still, I refuse to be downhearted with this ugly turn of events. 'Cause my total favorite couple in the whole wide world is making significant progress.
Is Josefina not the more adorable creature? I have developed a total Girl Crush on her. So I figure Dimetrio must be falling too.
But Carlos, now that Carlos Syndrome has been categorized, analyzed and identified, are you still suffering from it? I admit, you have defended the most heinous (yet juicy and succulent) Bad Apples in the past, and dang if they haven't all been rehabilitated! But are you still believing in the Insufferable Maria? Seriously? If so, I guess I'll have to accept her rehab potential because to the best of my recollection you have NEVER been wrong. Never!
But Lordy, it's clearly going to take a long time. I HATE THESE EXTENSIONS. EVEN MORE THAN I HATE DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME.
OT for Karen, I know I've seen the Disney version of RH, but I fear I don't remember it. Will have to check it out when I get home. Last night Mr. S shared with me a spare hard drive upon which a friend of his had downloaded numerous movies. Alas, TAoRH was not among them. (However Overboard was, and it is just as funny as ever. Better even what with all the quintessential 80's styles.)
Judy, one doesn't suffer from the Carlos Syndrome... it's more like a pleasant intoxication by beauty and as yet, unrealized virtue. Though I'm expecting redemption for María, I fear that it may be one of those tragic redemptions involving extreme self-sacrifice and lots of tears.
Fatima,
"Adolfo is such a wimp."
Perhaps, but I thought that he demonstrated quite a bit of courage by refusing to shoot that guy, thus risking his own life.
UA,
"How the hell did Pedro get into that bedroom?"
Very quietly I would imagine. He's not only creepy but also a creeper as well. I was surprised that they would get in on in Pedro's own house.
Carlos
I am hoping that Maria decides to try a little variety if she gets tired of Addled and tries to seduce Pedro.......oh no...empty toolbox.
I have seen the Disney RH....many times...many, many times..in fact , I have seen ALL the Disney movies many! many times. Robin is a sly fox. I especially love the lion as the evil king and the snake as the slippery advisor . Clever.
I watched Pasion again today. I think that I appreciate it more now than I did when it was first on. Little did I know at the time that there would be no more historical novelas in my future.
“uni-brows growing more united”
“slumber party of evil”
I wouldn’t go anywhere near Pedro’s side, not even with a 10-foot pole, BUT Adolfo and Maria were boinking in his house and they are not even guests there. Pedro did seem to enjoy the after-scent with Maria though, and I’m wondering if there’ll be kinky doings between these two down the road.
What’s up with Victor? Does this intelligent hombre not realize that once his sperm does the job that Pedro will have him killed? Nadia needs to tell Victor about Pedro’s missing avocados and killing the doc so Victor knows what he’s dealing with.
So JL has a dastardly meeting with Maria at his home where Angie could catch them in their evil-plotting? Got my fingers crossed that Monse is too smart to fall for this.
Now I’m voting for Esme and Angie to turn the Escondido into a dance club. FG’s a good dancer and Sandro needs a place to take Gracie.
Carlos, congrats on your retirement!
I actually think Pedro and Maria are meant to be together. She is the only one of his flunkies to come up with a good idea. He may come to respect her and "oh no" if he finally feels for someone other than himself. As one of the other posters stated, she could end up being his downfall.
Do not underestimate yourself. We all know it takes alot to write a recap and to add on screen shots. Do not think one of your recaps is better than tge other. All of your work, along with your fellow recappers, is a pleasure to be devowered by all.
Nanette,
Thank you for the High/Low lists from yesterday. As always a joy to read, and a great way to summerize and recall the previous week.
Carlota and Monserrat can get involved.
As to what Maria would be good for at this point I am wondering whether she might try to seduce Pedro. If he tries to get the wrong kind of physical with her she might be a good street fighter and in the process find out about the empty tool box. That could work either way with her.
I just now saw your congratulatory messages from yesterday. How very sweet of the both of you. Thanks, you guys are the best.
Carlos
Your recap was rich with detail and rife with humor. "Montse, utterly convinced ofJosé-Luis's intrinsic good-guyness", "Why can't Padre A. let us fornicate in peace?" and "Buck-naked and vulnerable, surprisingly ballsy María still throws some attitude back at Pedro and asks what else is she supposed to do Montse", were among my favorites.
Thank you for all of your time and effort! This was a joy to read. Sensational.
Looking forward to reading the comments tomorrow but after a 14 hour day, I must eat and attend to my Juliet.
Diana
