Hello everyone, UPDATE SUNDAY NIGHT:
This has been an unusual weekend! I'm spending it in the hospital, hanging out with a family member (who will be okay). I've been watching robo on hulu with my phone & iPad. I'm going to try to write some sort of summary, but it's a bit dodgy on a phone, as I can't seem to get my browser on the ipad to work!
RECAP, briefly, from my iPad. events not always listed in order, please forgive, it's hard to edit on an ipad!
JL catches Ale burning the drug money at the beach. But rather than busting him, the have a heart to heart over a beach campfire. JL tells Ale that Monserrat hates him (JL) right now, and perhaps that's for the best. Monserrat thinks JL betrayed Ale, but that's not JL's style. JL talks about what a blessing Angel is, how much he cares for her (quiero, not amo) and he'll be empty when she dies. Ale is reassured that Monserrat never cheated on him with JL, but JL says, when Angel dies, he'll keep trying to get Monserrat back, that's just how he is. But... It's better that Monserrat hate JL for now... during this exchange Scheming Prima is watching them with great interest...
Bitch Maria fill scheming prima of Ale in on all of Ale's history. Scheming prima flatters Bitch Maria, telling her she's prettier than Monserrat, and so forth.
JL interrogates sleazy drug dealer who rats out Angel's dad (I think?). He feels very betrayed, and that's why he's ratting him out. he doesnn't know the identity of Joaquin's socio (business partner).
Ezequiel tells Medina that they haven't got enough evidence to pin anything on Ale. Medina tells him that he's got a powerful friend, he's pulled some strings, and they can get Ale now. Make haste!
Macario is warning Ale about JL, he thinks maybe JL conspired against Ale; I am missing something here. Ale doesn't think JL is conspiring against him. But I think Ale's a little worried. He asks Monse where she went to (or something) and is reassured by her answer. She is all loving concern about him.
Dim is joining the navy, and is sincere. Capt. Robledo knows Dim's dad would be so proud. Robledo has Refugio be in charge of Dim. Refugio acts very agreeable in front of Robledo, but as soon as they're alone, he unleashes his outrage on Dim, who says, hey look, I understand that no one believes me, but give me time to prove myself. Refugio later goes to JL to update him on the latest with Dim.
Hot Lawyer (co conspirator of Scheming Prima) is family friend of Josefina. They have a visit and she tells him how Dim is turning out okay. He was a gold-digger at first, but now that's all changed. Hot Lawyer is sure that Dim is a good guy. He smiles... Graciela comes in, all cool and aloof, and Sandro (Hot Lawyer) is all thrilled to see her.
Monse is reassuring Ale of her concern and love when in comes Ezekiel, ready to arrest him! Uh oh!
Sandro aka Hot Lawyer, has coffee with Fina and Graciela. He tells Graciela how his client is the niece of Benjamin, daughter of Ben's sister. Imposible, exclaims Gracie, the sister was sterile, couldn't have kids!
Both Ale's mom and wife wail in despair at Ale being taken away, but he kisses them both for goodbye and goes with the police.
Sandro is talking about his 'client' and the whole process of figuring out if she's an heir of Benjamin's, will Ale fight this? Monse says no. Graciela is all intent on this topic because she's obviously not happy to think Ale will be sharing his inheritance.
Drug dealer is visited by Medina, who offers him a deal: confess and I'll make sure you have to only serve a few years. Dealer says no thanks. the next scene has Angel's dad (whose name again escapes me) being furtively handed a switchblade by a guard, I think the blade is from Medina. No sooner has he pocketed the knife than Drug dealer spots him in the prison yard, comes over to accuse and argue with him for being a traitor. Angel's dad has his buddies pin down Drug Dealer, as he explains something (?) and then stabs him. Goodbye Drug Dealer.
The last scene is of Ale being checked into jail, the humiliation of having to state to the crime he's been accused of to the admitting guard, having his photo taken, and so forth. Ale gets to his cell and who is in a nearby cell but his old buddy, Amgel's dad! Angel's dad looks all teary-eyed as Ale gives him a venomous stinkeye.
END OF EPISODE!!! Didn't see the avances, but am sure they are MUST SEE TV!!!

What an episode. I have a newfound respect for JL. My guess is that he wants to help Ale because he knows what it's like to be wrongfully accused.
Macario sure found the right time to spill the beans to Ale. But as many on The Patio have come to find out, Ale did not get angry at what Mac confessed to him about Montse. Not only that, but he was ok when Montse fessed up to lying about her secret visit to JL. What sucks is that now that Ale is showing his trust in Montse, those monkey writers want to separate them. Que the heck?
OMG. Ale's in jail and he still looks good in that prison uniform. I hope he's not in there for long, but I have a bad feeling because we still have ALOT of epi's left. Could Pedro be worse than Herny from LT? My vote for evil person of the year would have to go to Pedro. I think he's done worse things in a shorter amount of time.
Even though he's dead, I was glad that Samuel (the drug guy) said NO to Pedro. It's about time someone told him NO. Of course Pedro had Joaquin do his dirty work for him. It makes me wonder if that was the first time Joaquin killed someone. I fear he won't be with us for very long.
Very sweet scene with Dimi coming into see Fina sleeping. I was happy that Addie didn't convince him to stay out any later, and that he showed up at the Naval base the next morning. These scenes bring a smile to my face.
No spoiler here, but I see more bad things happening with the teaming of BM and Faby. They will probably use each other to try and get what they want.
Gracie looked like she wanted to go for a ride on Sandro's yacht, if you know what I mean.

The conversation between Maria and Fabiola was interesting because of Maria's information about the length of Benjamin's "illness." It sounds like someone was administering arsenic over a long period of time to off him. That's about as cold as it gets.
Again we have a situation where someone didn't know about being adopted. Sandro didn't, as evidenced by the look on his face when Graceless told him that Anastasia was sterile. Whether Anastasia knew of the baby's alleged origin we don't know. Graceless had no idea that Anastasia and her husband had a child at all. Did Benjamin swear Amelia to secrecy about this?
Benjamin must have spent a lot of energy keeping secrets. We have to wonder why. If he knew or thought he knew of the baby's origins he might have disinherited her partly as revenge against Graceless.
In any event, adopted children have equal inheritance rights. I guess whatever Anastasia and her husband had has been frittered away by now.
I'm going out in less than an hour so I'll end this post on the following note:
We have no idea whether Fabiola is the real deal. The following scenarios are all still possible:
1. Fabiola is the daughter of Benjamin and Graceless
2. Fabiola was switched at birth with Maria, who is the daughter of Benjamin and Graceless
3. #1 and Maria is also the daughter of Benjamin, who victimized Gaspar's wife. He certainly wouldn't have been above that.
All of the above could have happened and the woman who calls herself Fabiola now is an impostor who killed the real Fabiola at some point along the way. She could also have been a rehab associate who took advantage of a relapse death to assume her identity. That could have happened at any time.
The fact that Benjamin instructed that her existence not be revealed and the monthly stipend stopped is interesting. Is it possible that he saw her in Miami and realized she was an impostor?

Not my favorite episode and I'm beyond thrilled (NOT!) that we get to have more prison scenes. The writers sure do love having people thrown in the brink. Watching Ale get the crap beat out of him might be a channel-changing moment.

I have a confession. I also thought Dim looked damn good in his uniform. The actor is quickly becoming one of my favorites - every nuanced expression is totally on point.
I am totally confused regarding Fab. If she is an imposter, she must have assumed the identity some time ago as Amelia clearly accepts her. UA, you brought up interesting points to ponder.
Bonfire bonding. Who knew?? I wasn't expecting JL to pitch right in with burning the money and yet...in another life, he and JL would truly have been the best of friends.
I had a suspicion Ref would be in charge of Dim. It struck me as rather odd he was the one who was indigant at seeing the new recruit. JL kept his cool (as usual except where Monse is concerned) and kept to the business at hand.

When Amelia told Macario about baby Fabiola, she said something about Benjamin keeping this secret from Graciela for revenge. I get no impostor vibe from Fab. Don't know if it's intentional by the casting folks, but Fabiola and Maria look like they could be sisters to me.
JL knows Ale was set up with the cash, so I'm not surprised he's going to keep silent about the bonfire. But if JL keeps foiling Pedro's setup, I fear for him too.
Interesting moment when JL told Ale to let Monse think he's dirty as it will help him distance himself for her so he can focus totally on making Angie happy. I'm glad Ale asked JL why he married Angie and what he feels for her, cause I think I knew but I wanted to hear him say it. Good morning y'all! Forgive me for not reading the comments yet. . I'm watching last night's ep on hulu+ and just had to react about a couple of things:
First, I can't stand Sandho or Fabulush, which I know is the way I should feel: He loudly inserts himself into conversations and relationships while Fabulush slithers in on a thin film of wine. She's using Maria and that's OK cause I know they're going to be foiled in the end.
The other thing is the amazing bonfire-side bonding at the beach between Ale and J.L. Their sitting side by side nursing tequila shots in a knee to knee caress hearkens back to the glory days of the JL/Fuggie bromance!
I also feel a subtle kinkiness in JL's confessing to still love Montse right to Ale's face. Kinky and nervy how he tells Ale he so wants to be alone with her and searches for any kind of sign from her that the flame is still there. Ale for his part seems to be under some kind of spell because he listens, enthralled, as JL then whines about being left alone for the second time when Angie dies and then appeals to Ale to let Montse hate him:
"My main virtue or fault/defect is that I never give up, that is why I tell you, let her think the worse of me, let her hate me" implying that if she does not hate him he certainly will continue trying and might succeed in winning her back. Da noive!
Now, just after JL drops the cup into the flames, puts down the bottle and says good night to Ale, he walks up to him very close and tells him he will keep him informed of the events. Go back and look at it: in a full screen of Ale and JL, Ale on the left and JL on the right facing us with the ocean gently crashing in the background it seemed as if JL was going to, that he even should kiss Ale!
WTF!!! I swear! I mean isn't that what direction does, set a mood, craft the emotional environment in which the actors tell their story. JL even seems to be looking at Ale's lips?! In this powerful scene, Ale has reaffirmed an alliance with JL to prove his innocence but has he accepted JL's narcissistic assertion that Montse is only with Ale because she hates JL? Que the heck? That whole alliance could've been established in a bar or in broad daylight, why the intimate tableau of a late night, ocean-side bonfire?

I've seen the actor playing Refugio in other roles and he always has the tendency to overact in spurts. Most of the time he's okay, but sometimes his overacted screaming scenes get on my nerves. I did think it was funny, though, when he popped into JL's office with a huge, overdone salute and JL waved it off with a, "ya, ya!" I read it as a fellow actor telling him to pull it back a notch... or three. lol

Cap'n and Diane I mean, I wasn't looking for that it was just like this dark yet intimate dance they were doing: at first Ale was tense and defensive, expecting JL to arrest him but when JL offered him a drink, sat down and started to throw bundles of cash into the flames as he explained that he was not trying to entrap him, Ale relaxed and sat down next to JL on the log, their knees touching. Then tension rises again as JL tells Ale how he still loves and has the hots for Montse. They are standing at this point. . .
. . .as JL begins to explain that Ale will be "mas tranquilo" more calm, have more peace of mind if Montse hates him they sit together again on the log. The talks turns to JL's motivation for marrying Angie and they continue their soul-to-soul.
Again, I was not looking for this but it struck me as a very powerful, intimate and character-revealing scene for JL and Ale. NO. I do not think they're gay but the way the whole thing was staged and played out I felt led to the point where a passionate kiss would have seemed to round out the scene and I was like "what the bleep!"
That's all, I know I'm carrying on. It just seems evident that despite their rivalry Ale and JL deeply trust each other and respect each other far more than they do the women they claim to love.

Me too. I'll be looking at that scene closely. Actually, the actor who plays José Luis really seems to move into the other actors' personal space. He did it with Montse yesterday but I've also seen him do it with other actors, guys, in confrontational scenes.
And I've noticed that Latinos, in general, seem to get much closer than Americans in personal interactions. Ditto for Russians. Years ago, I remember during one summer school session at IU, where a number of Russians were there for the season. There was an American guy sitting on the edge of a fountain. A Russian fella wanted to get a better look at the water and leaned in, resting his hand on the American's thigh. The student looked like he was going to faint. Really! Once the Russki got a good look, he ambled off. Nothing personal!

There are some really baaaad boys in this piece but deep and abiding affection and love between some of them as well. . and that's OK: JL is un hombre de palabra that is why he will help Ale, though I think he still sees him as un buen tipo but JL has also sworn to Ale that he will love and fight for Montse til he dies. Ale has accepted the pact and indeed may be more calm having Montse hate JL.

Hi there, all. I almost thought that JL was going to offer Ale some marshmallows to roast over that bonfire....two buds hanging at the beach. The guy playing JL is very intense. When he played the crazy villain Diego in Alborada , he really chewed up the scenery, especially when he was playing opposite Daniela Roma or Fernando Colunga.
I have been thinking about the saying " That which does not kill you makes you strong" and that would definitely be the case for Rosario. For Pedro, that which does not kill you makes you twisted and vicious. For Mony, that which does not kill you makes you grow up a little. For Gracie, that which does not kill you makes you desperate , even more shallow , and greedier. For JL, that which does not kill you has no effect on your obsession with Mony. For Fabulush, that which does not kill you makes you thirsty. For Dim, that which does not kill you makes you contemplative and reflective. For Josefina, that which does not kill you makes you steadfast and determined. For Maria, that which does not kill you makes you bitter and vengeful. For Adolfo, that which does not kill you makes even lazier and more useless. For Nadia, that which dies not kill you makes you reckless.

Ah, Susanlynn...Nietzsche...you provide a very interesting perspective on these characters and what doesn't "kill" them. Most appreciated.
For myself, I can remember wanting to slap the face of a person who told that to me in a moment of utter grief and loss. I found it neither comforting nor uplifting. Perhaps it was the way those words came out of their mouth as if by saying it, I would be miraculously "healed" (their words, not mine) of my loss.
Having studied a good bit of Nietzsche (and not always willingly), I have often wondered what his own words meant to him or how he took those words near the end of his life when he was suffering from syphillis. I wonder if those words ever came back to haunt him.

Fatima...My mother used to say this to me at bad times. Then, she would remind me of all the things her mother had survived..the death of two babies and two husbands, and the death by suicide of a son. It did keep me going to think of my beloved grandmother enduring bad things and carrying on.

Also the reason JL told him Yeah, yeah, was because they are friends and as long as there is no one else around, he hasn't got to do that. The military frowns upon fraternization. Officers are not to be hanging out with the enlisted personnel. It is not conducive to good order and discipline. Just the facts : )

Madelaine, ITA everything you said about the JL-Ale scene. My guess is a lot of crazy will happen to make Monse and the rest think Ale is nuts to continue trusting JL with the investigation, but this scene established why.

As JL's life was changed forever partly due to Dimitrio's duplicity, JL had much more reason to be angry. JL's reaction seemed well, non-reactionary compared to Refugio's.
However frustrating Refugio may be at times (bringing Esme back home where only the unforseen intervention of Nadia on her behalf saved her from Pedro), no one can fault him for being a true, loyal friend.

Great episode. I loved the scene with Ale and J L on the beach and found it and their conversation very true to life where things are rarely as neat and clean as we would like them to be. Judy B. And Niece I like and agree with your comments on "personal space" in different cultures. So true.

Diana, sometimes the lesser damaged person (Refugio) has a harder time forgiving than the main victim. The main victim MUST get past it, or the bitterness will kill him. As friends, we can often hold on to a grudge against someone who has deeply harmed our loved one, when the loved one (through much grief and prayer) has moved on.
Fatima--I understand your reaction. People who immediately respond blithely with "Oh you're strong, you'll get through this" when what you really need is for someone to wrap their arms around you and say "I'm so sorry..." Well...they're in danger of getting a good clout upside the head! People are uncomfortable in the face of deep grief and just want to utter some magical incantation to make it go away. Doesn't work.
When I was at the lowest point of my marital mess, one churchy acquaintance intoned loftily, "Remember, there are TWO people at fault in a marriage." I so wanted to deck her! Sure, it was the truth. But what I needed right then was sympathy, not preaching.

I loved the beach scene in the entire shape and form ,them sharing a drink and talking like nothing happened suprised me and Fabiola looking at JL like she landed from Planet Mars made me shudder..I hope she doesnt end up with JL ,she loves wine too much ,hope she doesnt learn how to vine from the Sweaty One

JL knows that Graceless was the mastermind and that Dimitrio wasn't smart enough to think of that on his own.

Diana You certainly don't have to tell me about being too invested in this TN! I'm right there with you. I'm glad Dim is transforming. Certainly have no objection to that! To me, they are the most interesting of all of the couples and I enjoy seeing their interactions.

Diana You certainly don't have to tell me about being too invested in this TN! I'm right there with you. I'm glad Dim is transforming. Certainly have no objection to that! To me, they are the most interesting of all of the couples and I enjoy seeing their interactions.

I hate the whole Macario being instructed to follow and report on Montses whereabouts. Keeps me from the Ale table. He still is holding her as a possession.

Fatima, I hope you're wrong about future withdrawals. This TN is well-written so far and the acting has been top notch.
The only thing that would make me withdraw from it is if it became a standard narco story filled with gratuitous violence or if it became as illogical as CI did. There are times I wish I hadn't stuck that one out.

Urban, Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. What I meant to say is that when this TN comes to an end, many of us will have "withdrawal" syndrome because some of us (you are looking at her) have invested so much in this TN.

Fatima, it IS sometimes very hard when a treasured TN ends. A lot of us Gancho folks really missed that delightful romp once it ended. Fortunately, we also have an "investment" in each other on the blog line, so that keeps us going through the adjustment to the loss of favorite characters and storylines.
And of course we would hit it off if we were ever to meet. And I've had the blessing of meeting several CarayCaray folks as they have passed through Columbus. Maybe one day you will too.

Judyb...wow...you are so right about the person whose loved one has been hurt having trouble with the culprit who did the damage. As my own personal novela continues , I find that your comment is so helpful as so many of your wise words have helped me. We seem to take one step forward and then a step back, but I guess that is life. Sometimes issues are not resolved easily and completely. You put out one fire , but the embers still smolder. Some problems and some problematic people just seem to hang around making life complicated and agonizing for folks who just want to get on with things and live their lives. C'est la vie, n'est-ce pas ? Talk about having an albatross around one's neck. Regarding personal space differences between cultures, I have experienced this over the years with my students. I have read that Americans like to have about two feet between themselves and other people. Years ago , I had a student ,a teenager from Mexico. Every morning before class started, she would kind of stand next to me and lean against me as she said" Hello" as I stood at the lectern . Certain cultures are big on giving hugs and kisses while others never touch you in any way.

While I don't like Ale keeping tab on Monse I can never sit at JL's table because he lost me back the hacienda when he would not take no for an answer. I don't think he's "honorable" for helping Ale. I'll wait and see if he does not revert to form and starts his reconquest of Monse before I sit at his table.Romy
I also suspect that Alejandro has Macario watching Monse because he's concerned for her safety. He isn't yet aware of the threats Pedro made against Joaquin's family but I'm sure he's smart enough to see the possibility.

I couldn't agree with you folks more, that this is a very supportive and caring community. I have had the very good fortune to meet a few of my Caray Caray pals, and each time at the first meeting I felt like I was greeting an old friend. It has been a lot of fun getting to have face to face time with some of you and I truly hope to meet more of you. JudyB, although we have not (yet) met, my spies report that you are even MORE fantastic in person. Hard to imagine but I know they would not lie.

I am so very glad to hear that, because sharing is also a special gift that one gives to others. You are a good listener on this board and I'm glad that it is not just one way. If I could, I'd like to share a report about my progress in my Spanish lessons!!
A Spanish speaking friend took me to a wonderful restaurant last night. She and her family love the place and I can see why. I have never seen so many happy people in one place all at one time! There was this wonderful Karaoke going on (I don't usually pay attention) in Spanish. There was a wide variety of songs that were sung (including Banda, Nortena, "in the style of Vicente Fernandez" and so on). Some of the singers were really good!
The food was incredible and really rich. Not only was I able to read everything on the menu that was in Spanish, but I was able to order food for both of us and carry on a conversation with the mesera TOTALLY in Spanish! She spoke to me like I knew what I was doing!
My friend remarked that my Spanish had improved so much since we had least seen each other. She knows I watch the TN and the news (I love Jorge Ramos). I have told her about my CarayMates and the CarayCaray site.
I said that so many of our recappers go that extra mile and give us lessons in verbs, tense, dichos, etc.
I can't tell you how excited I was. I know it was only one night and I had my friend for back up, but some day soon, I might be able to go to that wonderfully happy restaurant on my own.
Never in my wildest dreams...thank you SO much Caraymates for so many wonderful language lessons I have received here.

Sylvia, amiga,I likely should have said "private" rather than "secret". I am indeed a private person and quite quiet in "real life". I find myself opening up here because I never feel judged. Our "conversations" are sincere and heart felt. We "hear" and acknowledge each others voices.

Fatima...I love that "Spanish conversation story". The first time I spoke Spanish in real life was years ago when a woman in a grocery store parking lot asked me if I could give her a jump start. Alas, I had jumper cables in the car but have never been able to lift the hood of the dratted thing (the push latch release needed stronger fingers than I had).
So I nabbed the first man who exited the store. Asked him if he could help us start the car. The older woman with him looked at me coldly and sniffed "He only speaks Spanish".
I managed to babble "Esta mujer..su bateria esta muerta. Puede usted....VROOOOOOM."
Dear guy smiled at me like I was the Second Coming..."Usted habla español1", he smiled. We were instant buds and he understood me perfectly, even though I couldn't remember the word "arrancar" for "start".
I do a lot better now that I have a Colombian friend and more opportunities to learn and practice, but never since have I experienced the "high" of that real life moment seeking help.

But at least, here at CarayCaray, we are stumbling together, and leaning on each other when we need to....and also cheering each other on!

Judyb and Fatima...A few years ago, I was in Sears and a young guy started talking to me in Spanish. I recognized the word "bano", from watching Amor Real (They were ALWAYS in the bathroom) Then, he said "baja,, , and I was able to say "no...aya",...and point. I was very proud of myself. Sadly, other than gathering a bunch of vocabulary, I have not really been proactive about learning Spanish. However, even though I am very passive, I have more knowledge than I had six years ago when I first started watching telenovelas.

JudyB, I just saw the brackets for the NCAA B-Ball Tournament. Is Ohio State your school? I see they are seeded 6th in the South and will play Dayton this Thursday. Dayton, if I remember correctly, is usually pretty darn good.

Been absent from comments for a bit and have missed it. I'm so happy that Dimi is indeed turning around. Can't wait for him to have enough hard earned dinero to get the heck out of his mommy's house! What will she do without her bebe! One thing I'm confused about, I thought we knew that Fabiola was Graciela's hija, no? Anyway, a bit ago some of you were commenting on nature vs. nurture, and she (Fabi) certainly has Graciela's money grubbing nature! Not looking forward to the weeks we have of proving Ale's innocence, but I'd like to go on record to say that I bet he and JL ARE good friends at the end. Eventually JL is going to get that there is no more Montse for him and he's going to MOVE ON. Maybe Pedro will try to whack JL and Ale will save him and then JL and Ale will kiss and make up--although I doubt that it will happen in the way Lila thought was coming in the last epi.

You should be proud because you put yourself out there on the line and spoke Spanish. Of course you are learning (as are most of us) and it can be uncomfortable to take that step of just trying to speak another language when you know it's not perfect. The best way to learn another language is to throw caution to the wind and just DO IT. Hooray for you! (And for all of us.)
Fatima...while Elvira struggles with her iPad, I'll continue OT and say that yes, I'm a Buckeye fan and we'll be playing Dayton who is always a good team. As is Xavier and Cincinnati and Ohio University.

Hi, Rebecca. I think JL and Ale do warily admire and respect each other now and Ale would be added to the best buds society with Refugio. There's just a little matter of a petite but uber hot blonde. I think JL is going to die in the end, maybe yet again saving Ale's or maybe Montse's life and he'll die professing his love for her.
Cap'n. I think my receptive Spanish (reading and listening) is probably darned good and I probably could speak but I'm just too scared! The few times I have I was told I do well and have a good accent but I'm afraid of being laughed at. (Which also happened once!) My ability to speak Spanish reminds me of my Son's command of English. He has autism and does speak but pronouns and tenses are still difficult for him and he's always used "canned phrases" that he's heard from tv and videos to express himself the way many of us probably use novela phrases with ease! At (nearly) 27 he's still improving. He, however, is not afraid to speak and keeps plugging away. I need to take a page from hisbook!
Anywho, love Caray family too, or The Caray Nation as I like to call us and yes, everyone is tolerant when some us (looking in the mirror) go on rants about about a favorite character, story angle or conspiracy theory!

How old is Fabiola?,her supposed parents died while she was 3 and the event happened suposedly 20 years again so she would be around 23 years old. Because of that i doubt Urbans current theory even if it seems somewhat convincing to me but doubts about keep stirring my opinion.. Thanks Cap'n. That IS funny! You're right. At my age my skin oughta be thick enough by now. Maybe I should check one of the 3 major university around me and see if there are some informal language groups where I could pair up with someone trying to learn English like your situation. That would be perfect!

Put a fork in it, it is done!!! I can't believe I got through it, but am glad I did. quite an episode, wasn't it? Well, my relative gets out of the hospital today, so I look forward to that. We did enjoy this iPad, watched some movies on it.
Demetrios, Anastasia and her husband were killed in a car accident 25 years ago. If there is any chance that Fabiola is Graceless' daughter that would have made her 9 years old at the time of the accident because she would be the same age as Alejandro, who told the jailhouse clerk that he was 34. Which makes sense from a casting perspective.
That would also coincide with Marcario's and Amelia's involvements in the baby situation.
There is no way that Fabiola would be Gracless' daughter if she were only 23, as that would have put the birth between Dimitio and Monserrat, who were 28 and 19 in the opening episode.

Unless she was born muxh before Fabiola makes little sense and people recognize impostors right away ,especially if they act as their supposed children,from the tone of her voice,her manners,her style of walk etc .An impostor cannot copy absolutely everything but if your theory is true,then well Fabiola trolled all them good and now she has suddenly gotten all rich!!

Sandho, Fabulush and Graceless are all greedy. Gracie helped kill Bennie by inches and (thinks she)killed her own newborn, so I have no doubt she'd hurt Montse if need be to get her paws on pesos or dollars! I think Sandro is like some of those guys you see on "American Greed." He's probably considered charming and charismatic and could easily "borrow" the trappings of wealth and lie smoothly about it. Do we have any dirst on him?

JudyB, I'm so terribly sorry to hear about your friend. And Susanlynn I am very sorry about your friend too. When things like that happen I always wonder "WHY?", but there is never a good answer to that question. Your friends will be in my thoughts and prayers, and my heart goes out to their friends and family, especially you whom I know. I know you will be strong even though you feel like crumbling, because that is what we do to help the families.
A couple of years ago we lost my favorite cousin (my age), who died about 2 months after being diagnosed with lung cancer (a shocking diagnosis), and that same year we lost a longtime family friend who had been in remission from breast cancer. That is why Mr. Sharkbait and I decided to throw caution to the wind and sail South. We don't know what our futures hold, so we decided to do the thing we wanted to do rather than wait. Last night when the huge full moon rose I thought of my loved ones who are no longer on earth, but who are still alive in my heart. It made me sad, but it made me kind of happy too, or maybe grateful is a better word, that I am able to have memories of those people.

Sylvia...You and Mr. Sharkbait are wise to live in the NOW. Hub and I have had a lot of family responsibilities for many years, but we try to do something for us every now and then...a walk, dinner out, a movie, a few days at the shore.
I like this quote : " Nothing rooted in love is ever lost, for it has become part of the living whole." --Pam Brown. And, of course the Navajo concept "to live in hearts we leave behind is not to die."
I really believe that those we love and lose hover near us. I say good morning to my dad every day when I go out to the mailbox for the newspaper and look at the field across the street , and my grandma often seems right beside me.

Susanlynn, Mr. S and I were fortunate that we could make the break. No kids, and his mother had passed away a couple of years before. He was his mom's primary caregiver (with help of an angel who lived with her 24/7) in her final years and we could never have left while she was alive. But when we had the opportunity we were able to take it. Just like you and hubs take your opportunities when you can. I think that is the most important thing, that we appreciate those special times.
