Por Siempre Mi Amor #77 3/21/14

xlnt, did you say you were having issues with Univision's broadcast or was it someone else? Tonight's episode kept freezing and pixelating. It was a little frustrating. Just my cable company or is it from Uni's end?

Borlas explains that the death during the robbery was an accident.

Gonzo calls Javier for further instructions, but gets the voicemail.

Ara tells Art and Isa that Este got the ransom money from work, but Angelito still hasn't been returned. Isa is going to light a candle for the child's safe return.

Mau and Andy in the House of Tsuris. Andy fears she will never see Angel again.

Borlas and Dan arrive at the wharehouse.

Este is waiting for the kidnappers call. Dafne wants to be there for him, but he asks her to leave. She leaves. He frets.

While the kidnapper is taking Angel to the car for transfer to Caseta del norte, Dan lights a cherry bomb. Angelito makes a run for it. Dan and Borlas knock out the kidnapper.

Javier offers to give Art and Isa money. Anything for Ara's family. They explain that the amount of money lost is in the millions. Javier says he'll do whatever he can. Isa tells him it's a family matter and he is NOT family. Art thanks Javier, but agrees with Isa.

Borlas and Dan take Angel home, but don't go in. They want to avoid being questioned by the police. Happy Homecoming ensues. Angel explains how he ran to hide and one of his rescuers hit the kidnapper (catorrazo). Angel tells Este the kidnapping wasn't his fault. He heard a sound outside the window and they grabbed him when he went to investigate.

Ara encourages Art to accept Javier's support/money.

Isa tells Gaby about Javier's offer and tells her they have to step up their plans and ya. They make Operation Expose a Scum plans for the next day. Isa will invite Ara for lunch and Gaby will get together with Javier. At the right moment Gaby will text Isa and Isa will make sure Ara sees Gaby and Javier canoodling.

Dafne and Ara have a conversation that I guess I should go back and listen to, but I can't understand a word of Dafne's rapid-fire, nasal-y speech. I know she tells Ara that she's lucky Javier is putting up with her jealousy over her ex and not kicking her to the curb (hmm. Just call me the queen of awkward sentence structure.)

Andy tucks Angel into bed. He asks her to sleep with him. They snuggle.

Javier gets the news of Angel's escape.

Borlas feels good about helping with Angel's rescue. Dan asks Borlas if he still loves Mari. Borlas does, but Dan is his "carnal" now and it wouldn't be cool to move in on his carnal's girl.

Gonzo tells Este that the boss found out about the missing money.

Isa asks Fab how Javier has so much money. Fab is perplexed. Javier just has his salary. Isa explains about Javier's offer. They conjecture about Javier's fortune. Maybe an inheritance?

Ileana is checking in on Dan, but he's not home. She just brought some towels and things to eat. Borlas thinks she's so sweet. Borlas says that if Ileana is Dan's bestie, then she's HIS bestie, too and gives her big too-long and slightly icky hug. Borlas reports that Dan is doing pretty well at the job. Ileana tells Borlas about Dan's injured knee due to the beating. Borlas looks a little green and promises to take care of Dan.

Mari wants to go visit Dan. Tita gives her permission.

Este is in a panic about the missing money. Gonzo thinks he should be honest and confess to Methuselah.

Fab really thinks Javier is just grandstanding (fanfarronear) for the sake of looking good with Ara. Isa really doesn't trust Javier and wishes he and Ara would break up. Fab offers to hack into Javier's computer (even though he says he shouldn't.) Maybe he can find some clue there. Isa thanks him. Of course Javier sees them. Fab mentions that he said something to Sonia about Art and Isa's troubles and says Sonia is worried about them.

Este confesses to Methuselah about the money. The old man threatens to call the police, but Este asks for the chance to explain.

Dr. Ex talks to Art and he thanks her for giving Ara a job. Dr. Ex asks what the real deal is with his finances. Art says they are pretty bad and he may have to start selling off things. He asks her to keep mum about it with Isa and Ara. He doesn't want to worry them, especially Isa. She has enough on her plate with work and all those medical tests. Art wonders why there are not results yet. Dr. Ex says to be patient and also offers her support during Art's difficulties.

Isa makes plans to eat lunch with Ara

Gaby lunches with Javier. He throws out a few oily lines. Puke. Gaby sends the text and Isa asks Ara to accompany her to the restroom. (Not smooth at all, a 6 year old would have been suspicious.) Yeah, Ara sees Gaby moving in for a kiss.

I interrupt this recap to say that Ara has these two pairs of wedge heeled sneakers that are utterly gross (gold pair and black pir) and never go with any outfit she's wearing. Someone in vestuario needs to be fired.

Needless to say, Javier weasels his way out of it by claiming that Gaby is the one coming on to him all the time and that Ara is the only gal for him. Ara totally falls for it and yells at Isa and Gaby. She calls Gaby a zorra multiple times. Isa tries to reason with Ara and make her see the Javier is a womanizer. Ara and Javier leave and Gaby can't figure out what went wrong with their plan.

Sonia really needs Cuca to return to work for him (Gil I assume) and Fab offers to look for her. He leaves and Sonia mumbles about having to get rid of Cuca and tie up that loose end. (We're gonna miss you Cuca (Well, Vivi not so much.)

Borlas has been accepted to the tech school around the corner. Borlas blathers about Agatha. Mari arrives in her dorky-looking uniform for her new school filled with señoritas fufurufas (stuck up beaches), but at least her belly is covered (sorry, gringo.) Borlas asks about her bruise. Dan asks if it hurts. She says no, now that she's seen him.

Isa tries to talk to Ara on the phone, but Ara rebuffs her.

Mari tells Dan she misses him. She tries to touch his hand but he moves it away. He says he's busy. Mari wants Dan to come eat at Tita's. Dan says he needs to study, but Borlas calls out his lie. Dan asks Borlas to come along. So explain to me again, why isn't anyone telling Mari the truth?

Ara talks to Dr. Ex about how awful Art and Isa are being to Javier. They keep making him jump through hoops. Dr. Ex says they are just being parents. Her parents did the same thing to her boyfriends...well, except Art. She tells some stupid story about Art clearing a table and being nervous as hell.

Mari tells Tita Borlas is coming to dinner.

Sonia tells Javier about Isa asking Fab for help and tells Javier to be careful.

Dafne and Ileana are talking and both the broadcast and the recording freeze until Este arrives to tell them about his trouble at work. Ileana asks if he robbed his boss.

Fab gets onto Javier's computer. He will use a program to help him see everything Javier has done on the computer.

Avances

  • Ara tattles to Art about Isa and Gaby's plan.
  • Isa slaps Javier.

On tonight's episode: Cuca is sooo DEAD (like Molly Fisher of the Dead Pool). The question is how will Sonia kill Cuca ?

A.) Poison her coffee
B.) Hire Gonzo, Dante, etc., to shoot her
C.) Strangle her to death

I'm also putting Fab in the Dead Pool Hit List too.

List of victims so far:
1.) Eugenia-Sonia's cousin: RIP
2.) The 3 surgeons: RIP
3.) Some dude in prison: RIP
4.) Miguelito-Isabel's poor baby: RIP
5.) The Padre-RIP

Thanks Sara. Really Gaby? You don't see what went wrong with that flawlessly planned out and perfectly thorough plan? We've been calling it a disaster for a couple eps now and I'm not surprised Aranza took Favier's side. Ugh. I'm glad Arturo and Isabel didn't take his money because that would have ended in some awful way. Now that Aranza is firmly in the Anti-Isabel club again it might be easier for Favier's to convince her to marry him. Scary stuff there. Love the Dan/Borlas crime stopping team, thank God the nightmare of Angel's kidnapping is over. And you're asking the right question Sara, why isn't anyone telling Mari anything?!?

Cassandra G.

I can only imagine the doozy it will be when everyone finds out that Javier is really Fernando. I hope BonBon can pull off a scene as potentially blood-shot and graphic as that (hoping he will be the one to give FeVer the 1,2 buckle my shoe or even better belt buckle and endless(or until someone intervenes but no one probably will at that point) fist-to-the-face action. I mean it would be symbolically correct (a galaxy of pain coming from his son- the son whose significant other he seduced, stole and slept with.)

Many thanks Sara. House of Tsuris and I appreciate the fashion comment during intermission. I do pay attention

Angel - Who were those masked men, anyway

The Duck - urgh, got one nerve and you're on it

Gabi - The Lady is a Tramp

Isabel - at least you're trying

Art - come on, don't look a gift horse in the mouth

ABrat - some things never change

Mari - god, wouldn't even go to the mailbox in that outfit

Fernando - well, I never

Ileana - not a bad guy but is it Dan out of desperation

Esteban - can't win for losing

Our little princess has snapped right back to her normal self again never giving the people that have protected and nurtured her the benefit of the doubt. This isn't Sonia's, Fernando's or even The Duck's fault but the fact she is a horrible little bitch, consistently biting the hand that feeds.

Thanks Sara!! enjoyed mucho. I noticed Ara is calling Isa Isabel again and not Mama. She's pithed. And I don't blame her .. what a lame trick even if she would have believed Isa and Gaby. I like the guy playing Gonzo. He'll never be a lead but he's a good character actor .. good expression and timing.

Sensational Sara. You filled in all of the mostly morbid events to perfection. Your embedded vocabulary is greatly appreciated.

"Someone in vestuario needs to be fired" and "Mari arrives in her dorky-looking uniform for her new school filled with señoritas fufurufas (stuck up beaches)" were among my favorites.

Poor Borlas has no social skills whatsoever. Blunt and incapable of finesse, his "gives her big too-long and slightly icky hug" made me cringe. But I think his heart is getting to the right place and his rescue of Angel has certainly set him on the path to redemption.

Although Angel is safely esconsed at home, Este's nightmare is still in full force.

So disappointed in Isa and Gaby's ill conceived and executed plan! Feo just needs to sit back at this point as they are throwing Ara right into his arms!

CD, I am really hoping you are mistaken about Fab joining the already too long death list! I fear Cuca's end is near but Fab's demise would be truly tragic.

Along with you and Cassandra, I'm puzzled why Dan is not telling Mari the "truth" as he sees it. Muddy waters indeed.

As frustrated as I am with Isa right now, you nailed it Tofie with
"Isabel - at least you're trying". Yes! She's hit her tolerance limit and at least she tried to fight fire with fire. After all the pain these years, I also noticed Anon that Ara has reverted to calling her "Isabel". From the previews looks like Isa gives Feo a good slap. Good for her! If she "loses" Ara to Feo, at least she will go down fighting.

Diana

Yes, Isabel and Gabi's ploy was sophomoric but ABrat was already sliding back to Fernando anyway after he so graciously offered financial assistance. The look on Isabel's face when Javier sat there and calmly insisting a bail out because he was family told it all. She wanted to scratch his eyes out then. I think Isabel has had enough and like a lioness protecting her cub (I personally think ABrat should land in purgatory and with Fernando in hell could still shout sweet nothings & encouragement to each other) will keep swinging. All it will take is one good connection and pow, to the moon.

Diana, I'm NOT shocked that Aranza hates Isabel again.

When this TN ends in May, I'm expecting the truth about how Eugenia died to severely devastate Aranza to the point of saying sorry to Isabel.

Like I said earlier, you guys remember Barbara Greco and how she kept on winning against the good guys ?

But is Aranza saying she is sorry enough for the hell she has dished out to everyone that loves her the most. I don't think so. She is due an anvil too and not one with a feather pillow attached.

Tofie, I've always put Aranza in the Antagonist category from the very beginning of this TN.

Isabel is too weak to stand up for herself.

Conservative Democrat, yes I remember Barbara Grieco well and feel she is in excellent company with Feo and Sonia.

It is painfully obvious Isa is desperate and heartbroken at this point. Her agitation is fueling my angst and frustration that Feo rides every wave in an unbroken stride and it shows no sign of abating.

I already feel the relief of Angel's rescue fading. Am relieved but we need some relief for Isa now too.

Honestly, my caring for Ara extends only in that I don't want more heartbreak for Isa. Ara needs to be able to survive physically and emotionally so that Isa can as well.

Diana

Victor Newman could beat Feo and Sonia and expose them.

Victor would say, "I'll make sure you two will never see the light if day again. You got that !"

On Barbara Greco: she killed like what over 30+ folks. Interesting to see if Feo and Sonia can break that record.

I hope Isabel doesn't hold her breath waiting for Aranza to get her crap together. It comes to a point after you coddle, spoon feed, endure heartbreak, name calling, disrespect and ingratitude you become apathetic. It's high time Aranza be shown the door because Isabel is getting no where as a punching bag.

Aranza is the type person that has no redeeming qualities, none. It's her way or your fault.

Take Borlas, orphan turned bad with every excuse to stay bad and a little dimwitted to boot. However, he is willing to look in the mirror and didn't like what he had become. Instead of a perpetual pity party and blame game he can't wait for chances to redeem himself. How novel, I done it so I gotta fix it despite no guarantee of forgiveness.

Thank you Sara and thank you for feeling sorry for the gringo. Yes
I was suffering last night. Tofie had it so right---Mari, don't you even go out to pick up the mail in that dress/uniform. Get back in your jeans and midriffs please!

Tofie---You guessed it right yesterday. Isa and Gaby's plan sure turned South didn't it? Ara is really in with FeVer now.

It sure looks like Cuca will be the next to go. I never liked her much but don't want to see anyone get knocked off.

Diana---Think about it. If Sonia can get rid of Fab how much richer she will be.

The advances show Fab on FeVer's computer. What will he find? I can't wait for Lunes.
the gringo

CD, "Aranza in the Antagonist category" and though you were early to the dance, correct. I kept trying to give the girl the benefit of the doubt and sorely wrong.

No telling what information she can pass on to Fernando about Isabel's medical condition since she now works in Maricela office.

Thanks for a great recap. I am so sick of Ara that I hope she does marry Javier. Then and only then will she find herself in the same situation Isa was once in, only she will deserve it. I am hoping Fab will survive the carnage because I could see him with Gaby.
Javier must be a twin because he is forever overhearing conversations that keep him one step ahead. How can one person be in so many places at just the right time?
Art and Bruno are the most clueless. spineless TN leading men I have ever seen. These sappy roles ought to finish their careers as strong, romantic leads.
Dafne just makes me want to slap her.
Sonia's anvil is going to be painful!

Tofie, Cuca is likely to be get whacked this week or next week, just a matter of when she gets whacked.

I see the Dead Pool Hit List growing to double digits by the time this TN ends in May.

On Isabel: it wouldn't shock me if Isabel ends up dead.

Esteban better move on because Aranza is a lost cause.

Thank you Sara for the recap, technical problems and all.
Of course this was a double episode, online episodes 104 and 105. Mexico is up to episode 120.
This episode left me seething!! I was happy that Angel was free but Javier and Sucia always having a heads up on what's going on is sickening.
Saragossa are so right about the sneakers
Tofie- you are so right about Ara
CD- who could forget Barbara Griego
Some scenes missing from last night, there are more and anyone is welcome to add:
Borlas gets into some type of technical school/ program
Mari has a fight at school, no surprise! Btw- Mari looks cute In her uniform
Uriel comes home to Tita's house, he is beyond happy
Methulusah makes Dan sign a note saying that he will pay back the money that he stole- ugh!
Tita and Osvy are going to move in together and Balthazar is coming too. That should be fun for Zenaida.

Thanks, Sara. I missed this episode, but it is getting to the point that this novela is very hard for me to watch. It is s frustrating because it seems that the bad guys are on a never ending winning streak and the good guys are clueless.

When a child gets involved with a bad person, a parent walks a fine line between warning them and trying to save them while not alienating them. Isa and Art are becoming more and more overwhelmed and panicked by the situation Favier has thrown them all into..and now their money is disappearing. They feel helpless and hopeless at this point...Lu's Isa is dealing with a health scare. This show is becoming a torture to watch. I need the good guys to start getting smart and lucky.

I wonder when the fabric of evil that Favier and Sono have been so successfully weaving will start to unravel and who will start to pull the thread that ultimately unravels it.

Tofie ...that was such a good analysis comparing Borlas who grew up with nothing and nobody to Ara who had a loving family, money, and every possible advantage. What makes someone weak or strong ?

Well Javier saw Isa and Fab chatting (yes, he's everywhere), so I imagine Fab will be caught at the computer and Javier will have some excuse to cover his a$$ for sure. I don't think of Bruno as lead material. His acting is so exaggerated and his faster than chipmunk speech is beyond annoying. Go back to Spain. Yes, I'm for Gaby and Fab.

Anon, You gotta wonder if B316 of the CIA from Scandal is helping Feo get away with everything so far.

Only one win by the good guys, well one good guy and one trying. Dan & Borlas risked their life to free Angel and succeeded though they didn't have any real skin in the game or know for what team. I hope that dynamic duo takes Gonzo out. Dan gives Borlas courage and Borlas pushes Dan to take risk.

I'm all for a Save the Fab campaign and ok with Gabi or Ally.

Yes, Javier saw Isa And Fab chatting but did he hear what they were saying?

And what if Javier catches Fab at his computer, it is Fab's company
isn't it?
the gringo

It is Fab's company but Fernando conducts himself like it is his and unlike Raisin has let him run amok. I think Fernando did hear or at least assumes Isabel after him. Art had the PI and Gabi tried to seduce him so easy to assume if Isabel is talking with Fab he better wipe everything or leave misinformation that proves he is an upstanding employee. Guess he will get that employee of the month parking spot.

Good work and I dearly hope Univision stops cutting this one up. We're only 15 whole episodes ahead of Mexico at the moment; at the current rate in a week we'll only be 5 episodes behind.

Does anyone else think the kid playing Angel is too young? I thought Angel was about a year and a half old in the opening episode so shouldn't he be 12 years old now?

My TV guide shows PSMA on today (Monday) at 11:30 am and at its regular 8 pm time. ??

UA. Way too young. Angels voice should be ready to start changing

Anonymous 8:15AM---I looked at the TV Guide online --- tv.com ---
and the yahoo tv listings. All of them have por Siempre Mi Amor in it's regular 8:PM time slot.
the gringo

Fab has joined the stupid ranks. I didn't see it, but from the conversation between Sonia and Javier, it seems big-mouth Fabrizio told his loving wife about his plans to get into Javier's computer. The idiot thinks he's sharing "family" business with her, not knowing her real family right now is "el diablo." Javier has been forewarned, so I'm betting Fab finds NOTHING incriminating in his (Javier's) computer. Chalk up one more for the dark side.

And little Angel was definitely two or three before the time jump, which was ten years, so he should really be around 12 going on 13. I was perplexed when Esteban told the police his little brother was 10! Continuity/script supervisor: wake up!

I am guessing that Angel's age was deliberately lowered to increase the level of our anxiety over the kidnapping.

Urban, Isabel is just like Olivia Pope of Scandal: WEAK & STUPID .
