I continue to be disappointed with Marianela. Stop whining already and blaming Dan.
Daphne needs to move back home ,clearly it's been years so it can't be that bad with her family. It's only as bad as she has imagined in her head.
I was happy for Uriel. He was so appreciative.
 

CorazonSalvaje: An excellent recap - perfect title.

So many great lines but "they gloat over victory #EleventyBillionTwentyFive" and "Soni and FeVer spew malevolence over the phone" were a few of my favorites.

I was also happy for Chilaquil - about time something upbeat happened amongst this dredge! Although, are Ale and Bruno really going to stay together? Hmmm.

Is there any chance a miracle will occur and Ara will come to her senses and marry Esteban?? I can't believe the writers would actually go through with having her marry Feo but we still have such a long way to go, I fear that might happen. That would be horrid.

Gil and Agatha were another bright moment. Hope we are treated to a few more scenese of them together.

Poor Fab. Another victim. And Isa is just getting too painful to watch - being sabatoged every step of the way by not only the evil doctora, but Feo as well. Ack.

So, Gonzo bit the dust before he could squeal? He should have known that would be his fate- he's known Feo and Efrain long enough, they don't like loose ends. He should have just blabbed instead of trying to pressure Feo into getting him out of jail. He knew that wasn't going to happen.

I only saw the end of the episode when Isa was pressuring Fevier to put up or shut up-- buy the condo at the price she was offering, or drop the pretense with Ara that he's rich. Not sure why she weakened at the end. It's not like her relationship with Ara can get worse. Kick him out of the condo and sell it someone who can actually pay the asking price. Or will she have legal troubles if she kicks him out before his lease is up?

I like Gil and Agatha together. Frankly, I think what he's needed all these years is a strong female voice-- then he wouldn't have made those stupid mistakes raising Sonia and Dan.

Though Gonzo gets it, for me was anti-climatic. I've developed a blood lust for the bad guys.

Vivi, Isabel buckled after she threatened to tell Aranza he was not daddy warbucks and he countered he would tell Aranza she was lying trying to make him look bad just as she and Gabi did before. He also told Isabel again he would leave Aranza if she would be with him.

It astounds me Isabel keeps seeing Fernando alone because he wins every exchange, usually with a grope, kiss or proposition
 

Tofie- I know he threatened to tell Ara that Isa was up to old tricks. That's why I said it shouldn't matter to Isa-- her relationship with Ara can't get worse. Ara is her kryptonite and she needs let it go (unless Ara were in imminent physical danger). It's an easy way for any of the villains to control Isa.
 

Tofie, like I said above, Isabel is the Latina Olivia Pope.

Like Olivia, they're both weak and easily manipulated.

Okay, I have to vent:

Aranza's "plan" has a hole in it that is so big the only reason she can't see it is because she is dum-dum-dum-dum-DUMB! Art and Isa know the terms of her trust fund, that Ara has to get married to receive it. So exactly how is Ara going to explain where she got this huge amount of money to rescue Art? The lottery? Gambling? Drug sales? Prostitution? What a dunce!

Speaking of dunces, Isabel just blindly takes a bottle of a "miracle cure" for cancer without questioning it? Who's ever heard of "oxygen therapy"? Wouldn't oxygen therapy involve, oh I don't know... air?... since oxygen is a gas? Isabel, there is this thing called the Internet where you can look things up. Please, please, please use it.

I wanted to clarify something from yesterday. The reason I was so hard on Mari was because Tita has taken her in, fed her, clothed her, is sending her to private school at her own expense. Mari, who is 18 now, acted like an idiot at Tita's wedding. She completely disrespected Tita with her behavior. Someone, Ally or Bruno or even Zenaida, should have taken her aside and read her the riot act. Her behavior was unacceptable, broken heart or not.

Susanlynn - I thought so too but it would have been too sensible of Aranza to ask Esteban, someone she has known for 10 years and his parents work for her stepmother. I can't believe that is what she came up with when she asked her mother what to do.

Running through my head is what Fernando is going to do when he gets her across state lines with one of his cronies and no one knows where she is.
 

So Gonzo got killed, why? Even if he talked, he wouldn't get out. He was in for murder and there were four witnesses. Feo couldn't get him out---if there were no witnesses, maybe but not with four
people who saw everything. So why was he taken out?

Gonzo was putting pressure on Fernando to get him help and if he didn't he would talk. Fernando could have killed all the witnesses but still have a guy that could rat him out or kill him if released.
 

@gringo, there's a novella rule that in which you kill, you have a spot in hell reserved unless the writer can come up with something even more elaborate than death.

Gringo- As Tofie pointed out, Gonzo was threatening to spill about Fernando/Javier. He was a threat to Fevier, and so he had to be eliminated. He was stupid to think Fevier to get him out of jail with all the evidence stacked against him. But I guess he figured if Fevier could spring himself out of prison, create a new identity, and live like a king in plain sight, then he could at least get Gonzo out of jail.
 

Thanks so much for the outstanding recap! I have a question about Marcela. Now that we know her true intentions, and that she has no scruples as a doctor, is it possible that she caused the death of Miguel (Arturo and Isabel's baby)? Or perhaps didn't do all she could have to save him? (Apologies if this has already been discussed.)

Torbie- Had she been the only doctor treating Miguel, then I would have real doubts. But he had an army of doctors around him, working on him furiously, so I don't see how she would have been able to get away with it. It will certainly be a question that Isa will ask when she realizes the kind of sick person Marcela is. Who knows? Marcela just might admit to not trying hard enough to save the little guy.

Welcome Torbie! We're glad you're here! I was thinking the same thing about Miguel last night. Remember at first Isabel didn't want to go see Marcela about her fertility issues because she thought Marcela didn't do enough to save Miguel. Maybe Isabel was right to doubt her.
 

Feo should pull a Frank Underwood (House of Cards), look into the camera at the audience and say this:

"You see, Isabel is still dumb that she doesn't even recognize who I am."
