Caray, Caray!

Monday was the beginning of Ultimos Capitulos! Things should really start rocking and anvils should start dropping now. This was episode #132 in Mexico, we got a full episode!

Leftovers:
Aranza returns home after going to see Javier. She wails to Arturo that Javier told her he'd been Isabel's lover from the start and Aranza meant nothing to him. Aranza and Arturo cling together and try to comfort each other through their tears. Seeing the results of her handiwork Marcela decides it's time to leave. Bruno walks Marcela to the door and she asks him to keep her up to date with what's happening to Arturo.


Tonight's Dish:
Isabel has returned home. Aranza screams at her and says she's seen proof that Isabel and Javier were lovers. She's seen the video! Isabel is taken aback when she hears there actually is a video. Still drunk, Arturo comes out and screams,"Get out! I don't want you in my house!" Isabel tries in vain to get Arturo and Aranza to listen to her explanation. She tells Arturo she loves him. Aranza screams, "Don't listen to her!" Arturo calls Isabel a tramp and yells that he hates her. He loathes her. Lucha covers her mouth in horror.

It looks like Arturo is going to get physical so Bruno steps in to try to calm him down. Arturo rages on and Gabino has to help Bruno keep him away from Isabel. Gabi steps up and tries to tell Arturo and Aranza that Isabel is innocent! Aranza screams of course Gabi would say that since she's Isabel's accomplice. Bruno and Gabi try to maneuver Isabel to the door but she breaks free, runs to Arturo and drops to her knees and begs him to listen. In the hallway Dante watches and listens and grins. I hope there is a big anvil waiting for this guy. What a rat bastard he is to think it's funny watching this family disintegrate. Finally Gabi drags Isabel away and she and Bruno shepherd her out the door. Isabel looks back at Arturo and he watches her go. Both look sick and stricken.

A welcome relief after that scene, Agatha and Gil return to the tenement after a date. He says, "Time flies when I'm around you. Life has given us a second chance at love and we should grab it!" Agatha feels the same way. He coos at her and she giggles. They are soon joined by Dan and Ileana who walk up holding hands. They think that Gil and Agatha make a great couple. They laugh and tease that Gil and Agatha look like they're in love, so when is the wedding? But Agatha wants Gil to woo her and win her before they talk weddings.

Bruno helps the drunken Arturo go upstairs to sleep it off. Arturo asks for another drink but Bruno says drinking more isn't going to help. Arturo slurs, "I hate her. I will remove her from my life and rip her out of my heart." Bruno says what Arturo needs is sleep. Arturo lays on the bed and Bruno takes his shoes off. Before he leaves Bruno assures Arturo that things will be better after he has slept and can think clearly. Arturo sees the picture of Isabel on the nightstand. He picks it up, removes it from the frame and slowly tears it in half. He wads the picture up and throws it to the floor.

Downstairs, Lucha and Gabino are saddened by the horrible events. They can't imagine Isabel doing the things she's accused of, but Arturo and Aranza are convinced that something was going on between Isabel and Javier. Gabino even heard some talk about a videotape.

Isabel and Gabi talk in the car. Gabi warned Isabel she was playing with fire and that damn Marcela didn't help. Isabel doesn't want to think about her, what she wants is to confront Javier.

Bruno and Aranza sit on the stairs and talk. He tells her to call if she needs anything. As Bruno leaves he tells Aranza, "Isabel lived to be a mother to you. I saw that. Don't forget the love Isabel gave you."

Dante calls Javier and gleefully tells him the Big News. Art and Isabel have split, he kicked her out! Dante is sorry that because of this Javier has lost the big prize he was after. Javier says ruefully, "I gambled and lost. Now Isabel will have to pay. I'll get back at her." After Javier hangs up he gets another call. "It's that idiot Sonia." He doesn't bother to answer.

Aranza talks to the portrait of Eugenia, "I'm sorry I trusted that woman. Perdoname. You are my only mama". Dafne and Esteban enter and ask what's wrong. Aranza cries, "Isabel and Javier really hurt my papa and me. They betrayed us in the worst way." Dafne and Esteban shake their heads, they don't understand. Aranza sobs, "Isabel and Javier are lovers." Dafne gasps, "Que?" Esteban looks stunned.

Sonia tries to call Javier but gets no answer. She leaves him a message, "Where are you? I haven't heard from you for days."

Isabel drops Gabi off and she asks, "Are you sure you don't want me to go with you to confront him?" Isabel says that isn't necessary. Gabi reminds Isabel that Arturo still loves her. Isabel sobs. They hug. Isabel tells Gabi that she loves her. Gabi smiles, "You're my sister." As Isabel drives away Gabi thinks, "I've got to do something to help."

Aranza tells Dafne and Esteban that Arturo caught Isabel and Javier together in a hotel! And Aranza not only saw the video of them, Javier told her himself that all he wanted was her money! She feels like the stupidest person on the planet! (Imagine that. I guess it never occurred to this dunce that a homely, pudgy 40+ year old man wasn't in this relationship for the scintillating conversations about nail polish, bikini waxes and homework.) Aranza needs to be alone. She goes upstairs. Esteban can't believe what he's just heard. "Isabel and Javier?? That's impossible!" He thinks he'd better go home. Alone, Dafne thought bubbles that this new situation isn't good for her. She was hoping Aranza would marry Javier and Esteban would forget about Aranza once and for all.

From the shadows Dante watches Esteban leave the house. "Your days are numbered, Esteban."

Gilberto visits with Sonia and Fab. He feels bad about how he misjudged Mari. Gil says he was surprised by what Tita told him. He asks Sonia, "Why did you set up a bank account for Marianela?"

Gabi is looking for Marcela at the hospital. The nurse says Dr. Evil isn't there and she isn't supposed to give out contact information. Well, Gabi really needs to talk to her doctor. She puts her hand on her belly. "It's urgent." The nurse agrees to give Gabi Marcela's cell phone number. She writes the number on a piece of paper and hands it to Gabi. As Gabi takes the note the nurse is called away from the desk. Gabi uses the opportunity to read the computer screen and get Marcela's home address. Instead of hiring a Cut-Rate Columbo, Art should have hired Gabi to investigate Javier.

Sonia doesn't really want to answer Gil's question and tries to steer the conversation in another direction. Did Gil know that Dan broke Marianela's heart? Dan was going with Marianela and then dumped her for another girl! There was a huge scene at Tita's wedding because of it! Sonia says that she opened the account because she felt sorry for Mari going to that rich girls school. Gil agrees, all the other girls make fun of her. Fab wants to know why Sonia didn't tell him. Sonia, who is looking particularly haggard in this scene snaps, "Because I didn't want to fight about money." Gil looks like he's not buying Sonia's story.

Esteban tells Mauricio and Andrea about Isabel and Javier. Neither of them can believe it's true. Esteban continues, "Javier was always after Isabel and only wanted Aranza for her money."

Gil says marrying Fabricio has done wonders for Sonia. She rolls her eyes. Sonia seems to have had enough of Gil's visit. She stands and Gil says his good-byes. Fabricio starts asking Sonia questions and she brushes him off. I'm sorry but I didn't catch this conversation. If someone could fill in what was said, I'd appreciate it.

Dafne comes to talk to Aranza. She understands that Aranza was in love, but Javier just dazzled her. Aranza says everything about Javier was a lie. She remembers Sonia telling her what a great guy Javier was. Aranza tells Dafne that she feels so bad, but she can't imagine how bad Arturo must feel.

Drunken Arturo tells Lucha to get all Isabel's stuff out of HIS house. She tries to reason with him but he yells, "Do as I ask!"

Isabel arrives at the penthouse. The doorman calls and tells Javier, "Isabel de la Riva is here to see you."
"Don't let her in. Tell her to leave. I don't want to see her."
The doorman is sorry, but he can't let her enter. Isabel screams, "You tell that man he's going to speak to me or I'm going to cause a scandal like he's never seen. Understand?"

Marcela opens her door to a very, very pissed off Gabi. "What are you doing here?" Oh, wrong question. Gabi grabs Marcela by the ears and pushes her backwards. Whoa! Do. Not. Cross. Gabi. I'm hoping in a couple more minutes Dr. Evil will look like Dumbo.

Javier comes out of the building and confronts Isabel. She demands that he tell the truth, that they were not lovers. She wants to know why he's trying to ruin her life. Because she ruined his. He spent 10 years in prison because of her. Now it's payback time. Isabel doesn't understand. He screams,  "Look at me! Look at me! Look at me! Look at me! Look at me! Look at me! LOOK AT ME! I'm Fernando Cordova!" Isabel stares unable to comprehend. "No. No puede ser. No puede ser. Fernando Cordoba este morte."  He smiles, "Dead? No, guapa. I'm more alive than ever. I'm here. The best part is that no one can prove I'm alive!" He laughs. Isabel shouts, "I'll tell Arturo and Aranza everything about your revenge." She runs to her car. He laughs until he realizes she's actually leaving. Javier walks toward Isabel. She can't get the car door open and drops her keys. He grabs her, she shoves him away and runs. He picks up her keys and follows.

Gabi screams at Marcela, "You're a liar and a traitor." Marcela is defiant. "I know that you were covering for her. I don't regret what I did." Marcela keeps backing away, further and further circling the coffee table. Gabi yells, "My friend is innocent!" then finishes it off with a hard slap to Marcela's face. Gabi picks up her purse and glowers at Marcela as she walks out leaving the door open behind her. Marcela looks like she doesn't know what just happened. Is it just me, or does anyone else wish Gabi would have left Marcela slumped against the wall with a smashed lampshade on her head and big clumps of nasty red hair all over the floor. But then again, Gabi is pregnant and has to think of the baby...

Isabel runs down the sidewalk with Javier close behind her. She runs out onto the street into the path of an oncoming car. The car hits her, she falls and strikes her head on the curb. The horrified driver jumps from the car and rushes to Isabel. He calls out to her again and again. She doesn't stir. The driver grabs his phone and calls for an ambulance. Javier, who has been watching from a distance, walks away.

Lucha sadly tells Aranza that Arturo has ordered her to get all of Isabel's things out of the house. Aranza is good with it because she hates Isabel now. Lucha reminds Aranza that Isabel loves her.

The driver is begging for the ambulance to hurry. Back in front of the penthouse, Javier gets into Isabel's car and drives away. A taxi pulls up and Gabi gets out and goes into the lobby.

Bruno tells Ally about Art, Isabel and Javier. Tita overhears and declares, "That's impossible!"

The doorman tells Gabi he saw Isabel leave and Javier left soon after. Neither of them have returned. Gabi worries, "Where are you Isabel?" She calls Isabel's cell, but it's out of service. She decides to call Javier, gets his voicemail and hangs up.

Arturo and Aranza whine and cry and hate on Isabel. Arturo says they need to be strong and pretend they never met Isabel. Aranza declares that she'll hate Isabel forever. She can't believe what they did. Isabel and Javier caused them so much pain. Arturo feels empty, like he can't go on.

A monitor beeps. The doctor tells the nurse that the patient needs to be sent to another hospital to be checked for brain damage. Has her family been notified? The nurse doesn't know but the patient's ID says her name is Isabel Lopez Cerdan. Isabel lies unconscious, her head bandaged, her neck in a brace.

Advances:  Just for kicks I'm going to give you the advances from the Mexican episode because they were better than the ones we saw.

Marcela calls Art and whines about the ass-kicking she got from Gabi
Gabi goes to the police station to try to find Isabel.
Arturo tells Ozvi that Isabel is dead to him.
The hospital doctor tells Isabel that she's pregnant.
Isabel, who is apparently now blind, tells someone that she's pregnant. That someone is Javier.
