Alejandro Almonte Returns Lo Que La Vida Me Robo Episode 141 05/28/2014

Hi patio peeps! I'm going to just cover our major story lines because I have to be up in a few hours for my sisters graduation, with some luck I'll get three hours of sleep, I hope you enjoy the recap and feel free to fill in anything that I may have missed/skipped.

Alejandro Returns:

Last night Alejandro was outside of Montse's house, the plan was for him to reveal that he had survived the plane crash, little Laurito however put an end to those plans when he saw Alejandro outside of his house, Alejandro did not want his child to find out that he was still alive until he had been prepared by his mother for the news so he ran away and together with his mother came up with plan B which was to lure Montse away from the house and take her to a safe location where Alejandro could show himself without fear of Jose Luis showing up.

Rosario lies to Montse and tells her they have a social engagement to attend, she tells Montse to dress up because it is a formal affair, when Montse  suggests calling her husband so that he can meet up with them Rosario discourages her and tells her that the gathering is for women only, they leave the house and later arrive outside the church. Rosario tells Montse that her aunt Carlota would be meeting them there, she then asks her daughter-in law to go in and see if her aunt is already there, she will remain outside just in case Carlota is not inside the church.

Montse goes into the church and a minute later hears for the first time in seven years the voice of the husband she thought had died. Her face registers relief, confusion and happiness, but also anger. After a quick reunion the questions come fast, Montse wants to know why he abandoned her and their child. Where was he for the last seven years? What was he doing? How could he have left without them? Alejandro sits in silence while his wife continues to accuse him of abandonment. He finally tries to explain what happened, but only gets to say "please forgive me" before Montse leads him outside to the place where her father's remains rest, she then shows him an empty grave site with his name on it (dude, they took his last name!)- she explains that she had the grave stone placed so their child could have somewhere to visit his father on special occasions, she says her heart broke when she saw her child talking to an empty grave.

Montse continues her speech and tells Alejandro that she would have rather taken her son to visit him in jail every Sunday than to have had to endure the suffering of the past seven years-she tells him that he has returned to their lives far too late and then turns to walk away, finally Alejandro tells her that he has been in a coma for seven years. She returns and sits by his side, he tells her that the accident happened very quickly, the last thing he remembers is using Victor's phone and speaking to Graciela who told him that Montse had died, when he woke up from his coma he believed her dead and only wanted to return to Agua Azul to find Rosario and his son.

He explains that he arrived in Agua Azul on her wedding day and that he saw her and Jose Luis leave the church together with Laurito calling Jose Luis "daddy", and then he asks why she married Jose Luis. She explains that she remarried because everyone told her it was time to rebuild her life, but mainly because she felt a great amount of gratitude towards JL- after all Jose Luis spent years in jail for a crime that he did not commit and he sacrificed much in order for Montse and Alejandro to be happy. Alejandro asks if she loves Jose Luis and she tells him "no", then he asks if she still loves him and she says that she does, he is her one true love and then they kiss.

Josefina and Adolfo-he really is a giant marsh-mellow

Josefina and Victor discuss the possibility of Adolfo helping Vic stay in contact with Nadia, Vic is unsure of Adolfo and he reminds Fina that Adolfo and Dimitrio once used her in the worst way and she says she remembers but that she knows how to handle Adolfo and that she will do whatever is needed to help Victor and Nadia be together again.

We see Adolfo receive a phone call from Josefina and they agree to meet up. The place that Josefina picked for their meeting is also the same place where they shared their first kiss. Adolfo starts off by telling Josefina that he cares for her, when he sees her he sees the man he was before she left. Josefina gives him a hard time and tells him that he is a good liar, but Adolfo does not give up, he tells her he is being honest with her, he loves her and he is not after her money or anything else. She ribs him some more and says that once he gets her into bed he will dump her, he says that he does want to get her into bed but only because he wants to wake up to her every morning for the rest of their lives, until they are old and wrinkled. He continues and says he wants everything with her, a wedding, a little house with a garden and all the children god can give them. She agrees to give him the benefit of the doubt and they kiss, then she explains that there are two people who need his help and that she needs for him to help them without asking for anything in return.

Adolfo guesses that it's Victor and she tells him he is right, she takes him to her house so that he can meet with Victor.

Fabiola is scared:

In Fabiola's living room she has a little meeting with Pedro and Sandho, she is scared that Alejandro might not be dead and Pedro tells her not to worry, Alejandro is dead and he is not going to get up from his grave in order to seek revenge-and he is right, the dead don't come back to life but people in comas ALWAYS wake up and seek revenge, especially if they are in a telenovela produced by Televisa.

Later that day Sandho meets with Graciela, he tells her Fabiola is freaking out about the possibility of Alejandro still being alive, and that the way to get to her is to try and find her long lost family. Graciela tells him to leave things alone and excuses herself. At the end of the episode she shows up at Fabiola's house and tells her that they need to talk.

In other news, Dimitrio is starting to pack in order to move in to his new crib and I'm starting to think he is really over Josefina! Also, Maria gets her job back on the pole and Jose Luis finds out first hand what it feels like to have people play you for a fool. Karma is a b*tch.

Come back tomorrow for what's bound to be an hour of must see TV!

Thank you Eli for your concise but nevertheless amusing recap, loved, "but people in comas ALWAYS wake up and seek revenge, especially if they are in a telenovela produced by Televisa."
Concise recaps are all I have time for these days...

It wasn't spelled out last night, but Graciela may be planning to continue her cruelty to her other daughter, Fabiola, that started at her birth. (If Fab is her daughter as we have puzzled over, I still think it is possible that Marie is Alejandro's sister, but if they are in a telenovela produced by Televisa it is possible both girls are somehow related.)

Eli, what a trooper you are. This recap just sparkled, in spite of your lack of sleep. So happy to know that you are young and resilient. Enjoy your sister's special day.

Emarie and I often pick the same lines and wouldn't you know! "but people in comas ALWAYS wake up and seek revenge, especially if they are in a telenovela produced by Televisa."

So happy to know Alejandro and Montserrat have FINALLY made contact, and so happy to have this recap to let me know that. Gracias.

I liked the reunion of Monse and Ale it was very touching to see and also very sad but atleast they are back together again. I wonder what Adolfo and Victor reunion will bring, hopefullly they can put their differences aside and that they can work together against Peddy. And am i the only one who is confused with Sandro and Gracie especially on which side Gracie is? My guess is neither, her intentions are to turn Sandho and Fab against eachother.

Eli,hope you have a wonderful time at your sister's graduation. Thanks so much putting together this great gem of a recap during this busy time!

I was losing patience with Ale there for a minute as he let Monse yell at him. How hard is it to throw in "Coma...I was in a coma" after the first "where were you". But then I thought, this is a TN and we have to have the drama and the big reveal, etc. Hey, at least we got that moment. She could have walked away and he hadn't explained himself. Seen that stupid plot line play out in other shows.

Was a little surprised by Monse's definitive "No" when he asked her if she loved JL. Thought we would get some hedging. But as we suspected, she did it out of gratitude and everyone's pressure. That may be a big part of JL's manipulation because he has sensed the big difference in her feelings. Speaking of whom...I'm sorry, why does anyone have to report to him where Monse is? And why is everyone nervous to answer him. Honestly people just tell him "Beats us. She's a grown woman. Maybe she's out shopping?" He looked particularly scruggy last night (term from my son which I guess means not so cool and put together.)

Loved Dim and Laurito together. Those two have a sweet chemistry. I'm not so sure that Dim is over Fina as much as he just wants to be a grown up, get his own place and try to make himself a life. He honestly feels that FIna doesn't want him, not the other way around, and so he's moving on. I get it and at least we don't hate the "other woman". I do dislike Fina being pulled into Adolfo's charms since she isn't aware of who he really is. I hate to see her hurt. I still think that Fina and Dim are end game.

Eli, thank you for giving us this splendid recap at great expense to your night's sleep, especially on such a day. Best wishes to your sister and family. Enjoy!

Much to love in this short, savory recap including "he then shows him an empty grave site with his name on it (dude, they took his last name!)" and "but people in comas ALWAYS wake up and seek revenge, especially if they are in a telenovela produced by Televisa" which Emarie and Judy also noted!

"In other news, Dimitrio is starting to pack in order to move in to his new crib and I'm starting to think he is really over Josefina". I thought the same thing. Neither is overtly yearning for the other, at least outwardly. Perhaps they both think there is no hope.

"Adolfo starts off by telling Josefina that he cares for her, when he sees her he sees the man he was before she left”. Julia said the other day that she liked Adolfo and Fina together and I do as well. Of course his murdering, lying personna is a problem and likely an insurmountable obstacle.

I agree Daisy, I do think Dimitrio and Fina will end up together although it appears it will be quite an extended process.

Monse's love for Ale is so intense that I do believe she never would have fallen back in love with JL. In life or death, Ale was and is the love of her life.

I was happy for Monse that she knows Ale is alive. I cannot pretend to feel any joy in their reconciliation due to Ale's lack of character.

And of course the writers are doing an all too convincing job of making JL every bit the jealous, controlling husband that Ale was once upon a time.

It's almost impossible to find any joy or light in this these days. I am staying with this only because of the marvelous recappers and amazing commenters.

Thank you Eli.

Diana

Thanks, Eli, for taking the time an effort to provide us with this recap he during your busy days.

Daisynjay, I like your style. Tekenovelas are all about failures to communicate. Sometimes one word is all that is needed to clear things up. ..."coma"

Well, like many of you,mInsm super busy right now.. I am off to teach verb tenses ...still at this ....and how technology is competing for family time together. Hope that everyone has a good day today as they move through his or her own telenovela.

Eli, small recap but it packed a punch! Coincidentally, I too am on the run today. Getting ready to have a house full of 11 year old girls this Saturday for my daughter's birthday. Thanks for the recap and enjoy the graduation.

I am so glad the Ale/Montse reunion finally happened. I kept seeing Ale just asking for forgiveness and thought they would drag it out tonight as well. Like you,Daisynjay, I too was losing my patience and you hit it right on the spot with your:
"How hard is it to throw in "Coma...I was in a coma" after the first "where were you"."

Eli, your "dude, they took his last name!" had me laughing this morning as I drank my coffee. I mean seriously, I know its a novela, but I'm sure Ale didn't go through life as just being "Alejandro" before he took on the Almonte last name. His grandfather must have registered him with his own last name. For goodness sake, the guy graduated from college! Why not give him back his old last name? I guess in times like these, the beanies that everyone mention come in handy. Where can I get one?

Also loved the scene with Fina and Adolfo. And she lost the bun! Finally! Don't get me wrong, I like her bun, but she looked so pretty and youthful the way she was last night. I think pretty soon Dim and Adolfo will be fighting over her. I like her and Adolfo together, but I still lean towards Dim for her at the end.

Maricruz

Eli- Have a wonderful time at your sister's graduation! Thank you for taking the time to give us a great recap.

Yay! The story is finally moving along now that Monse knows the truth. But I'm most excited about reading that Fina, Adolfo, and Victor are finally meeting to create a plan for poor Nadia and Vicky.

Diana- Thanks for the reminder that Ale was every bit the controlling husband JL is, and would actually task Mac with sticking by her side and reporting her activities. I really hope the writers have changed Ale this time around, but they can't make us forget what Ale was by painting JL as the crazy obsessive husband.

Before I'm off for the day, my last comment is based on your last comment Eli :"Jose Luis finds out first hand what it feels like to have people play you for a fool. Karma is a b*tch."

It's all coming down on JL, for keeping the truth from Montse. I wonder how he will react once he knows that Montse knows? Plus I found it very ironic last night, that when JL asked Mac for his coffee black, just like Mac's conscience. I was like, look who's talking. If Mac wasn't trying so hard to keep the secret, a good comeback for him would have been, "not as black as yours JL!" ;-D

Maricruz

"And she lost the bun!"

Yes, Maricruz, forgot to note how I also loved how Fina looked last night. She even seemed more relaxed and coquettish that way. And how very shallow of me that after such an emotional episode all I could think about and do was jump online and see if I can find that dress she had on and in that lovely color. It will be a perfect dinner dress for my long weekend in Santa Fe this summer.

Who said TN's are only for the stories?

On to a string of conference calls. I need some of Mac's coffee to get me thru these morning.

Daisynjay

Haven't had a chance to read this recap yet, but I just wanted to thank Demetrios and AuntyAnn for helping me fill in the blanks yesterday. Greatly appreciated.

Eli, congratulations to your sister. Thanks for taking the time out to provide us with this crisp cleverly written recap. Well done. Now go enjoy and celebrate with your family.

The dates on Lauro's crypt confirms that we are definitely navigating the future. Fortunately for Alejandro it doesn't appear that things have changed all that much. Even fashion is very much as it was when he conked out.

The look on JL's face suggests that he realizes that his tidy little world that he has so carefully constructed is crumbling beneath his feet. He continues to annoy. His cutting snipe at Macario was uncalled for but the thing that bugged me the most was his careless handling of that pistol and the threatening way he pointed it at Zeke. That is certainly not the way he was taught to handle a weapon in the Navy.

Fina was drop-dead gorgeous. What a beautiful scene with her and Adolfo on the seawall. I'm not so sure that I'm trusting Adolfo... when he starts poking at his eye like that it generally means that he is about to do something he knows he will regret.

I chuckled when Pedro said that the dead don't come back to life... he will soon learn that our María has done just that.

Diana, I'm sorry that you're not finding any light or joy these days. Believe me, I understand.

Carlos

Peddy will soon learn that the dead really can talk,i cant wait to see his reaction when he learns that Ale ,Maria and Victor are alive and kicking. That would put Adolfo at risk though..

Eli - Thanks a bunch. Best wishes to your family on your sister's graduation. Enjoy your day and hope you catch some sleep soon.

I didn't expect Monse to be such a nag about Ale not contacting her in seven years. I kept thinking "will you shut up and let the man talk?" But then Ale looked so fine, so perfect that him being in a coma all this time never crossed her mind.

It makes no sense that JL has stopped shaving, just as he's gotten remarried and taken an important new job. Nobody does that.

I liked Fina's new hairstyle too. I couldn't tell if she was into the kiss with Adolfo, or just did it to convince him to help Victor and Ale.

Thanks, Eli for the wlnderful recap!

I feel sorry for Alejandro, Jose Luis, and Montse. Hey, JL waited all tnose years years in jail before they got married and It was SEVEN years since any contact with Ale. I can sympathize with JL being paranoid and trying to protect at all cost his marriage to Montse who he sees as the great love of his life, I don't see him as a bad guy. What a mess!

Run, Josefina, run! Still don't like Adolfo.

The wheels just keep turning in Graciela's head. LOL

All I can say is that the writers keep making these characters as complicated and contradictory as people in real life.

Jarifa

I heard La Malquerida is coming out in June 2nd.I wonder if i could be one of the recappers ,because it will have one interesting cast( I am a fan Alberto Estrella,Sabine Mousierr and GGC). I know i will have to suffer through the annoying Victoria Ruffo( I hope her role is stronger this time ,not of a crybaby)..

Can anyone trust Adolfo, aka the scorpion? I think Josefina has made a huge mistake thinking she can handle Adolfo. Adolfo is a very conflicted personality - a cold blooded murderer, friend (?) of Maria the viper, and sometimes in-love-with Josefina. Victor and Ale need to watch out because we do not know which way Fofo will turn.

I am so happy that we got our Ale and Montse reunion. I too wanted Ale to hurry up and say he had been in a coma.

Niece in MD said, "It makes no sense that JL has stopped shaving, just as he's gotten remarried and taken an important new job. Nobody does that." However, I wonder if a person would do that if they were slow decending into madness. As we have seen, JL has changed, is changing and may change further (and for the worse) once he fully knows his plan has completely unraveled.

Caryn

Eli, it was concise, neat, and sweet! Thank you so much. :))

I thought it would be an endless "perdoname" with the usual TN cliche "walk away before the important stuff comes out", but it wasn't. I would have turned it off right then and there if it had been.

JL looked even scruffier last night; a downright slob even with the Miami Vice get up.

All Rosario needed was a sandwich board sign and some blinking lights and she could have led JL right up the stairs of the church.

Macario...why in the world would ANYONE trust you with a secret?!

Graciela's makeup HAS changed. They did a flashback to her in an early moment where she was tormenting someone and it was clear that they are now putting dark shadows under her eyes. She has started her mental downfall (in my view) and it has to get worse as a person can only juggle so many lies and games.

The eye shadows and hair shadows are creeping up on JL and Graciela.

There are some loose cannons out there (here's looking at you Adolfo and Maria) who are going to throw their wrenches into the works. I predict unexpected fireworks.

QUESTION: (...and I think Oxnard Huero asked this yesterday) Has Fabiola spent all of Alejandro's money?

QUESTION: Did JL really go to jail for no reason for 7 years? I've missed this part of the story.

Lastly, I nearly died laughing when I saw Alejandro's crypt with NO last name! Holy Cow! It sure surprises me that both Montserrat and Rosario allowed this to happen. Pedro and Graciela have that much control over people in this little blue water town?!

Fatima

Dear Eli, Thanks so much for doing this wonderful recap and with so much going on for you! It was really funny and well-written. I missed a lot of this episode, but after reading your recap, I feel I saw all I needed to. Best to you and a big congratulations to your sister! Julia R.

That's funny that Alejandro's tomb had no last name. It's like he's famous, like Cher, only one name required. :)

Seriously though, they could have put his mother's last name on there, which was the only one he had before he became an Almonte, and was still part of his name even after that- Dominguez.

Fatima- JL caught Ale burning up drug money (part of a ploy of Pedro's to frame Ale and send him to jail). He could have carted Ale off to jail, but believing Ale was innocent he instead helped Ale burn the money. Later, when Fabi testified against Ale and told the authorities about the money burning, JL jumped in and said it was all him and Ale had no part in it. That's why he was sent to jail for 7 years. His reason for doing it was 1) he wanted Ale to be free to make Monse happy; 2) Angie had just died and he didn't seem to be thinking straight; and 3) he was on some weird kick about wanted to stay far, far away from Monse by making her hate him. It was all foolishness, but resulted in Monse thinking JL was a criminal who had tried to frame Ale, when the opposite was true. Now the writers seem to want to turn that into reality this time around. We'll see how dark of a place they take JL to.

JL is the Rodney Dangerfield of police chiefs, No respect! What he needs is a large, hanging police badge; he should just ask EZ for his old one.

Fatima

“QUESTION: (...and I think Oxnard Huero asked this yesterday) Has Fabiola spent all of Alejandro's money”?

I did not ask about this, Fatima.

Thanks for this great recap Eli and enjoy your sister's graduation.

Diana I feel your pain and that's why I focus on the secondary characters. Adolfo is a danger and as Anon @ 10:53 said he can't be trusted. Thus, I'm not happy with Fina being with him.

Karen, I just read your comment and then re-read mine.

"Of course his murdering, lying personna is a problem and likely an insurmountable obstacle". I burst out laughing. Have I really stooped so low that I am pulling for a murderer? I have to take this far less seriously.

Well that pulled me out of my funk!

Diana (smiling, finally)

Maricruz, I'd give you my beanie but I had to adjust it so tightly for this story that I can't get it off!

I'd like to be glad that Ale and Monse are together but because this is a TN by Televisa, I am sure they'll be MAJOR wrinkles like JL refusing to divorce Monse and maybe a priest stepping up and pronouncing it forbidden by the Church. And of course we're all waiting for Monse one day soon to faint.

I think we can all be sure that the only way JL (or Ale) would give up on Monse is if he's dead. No matter what happens in the plot from now on, his fate is sealed.

If Monse is pregnant by JL, this will be a test for Ale-- perhaps a much needed one. Could he love, truly love, a child that is JL's? Right now it doesn't seem like he could. But being able to do so, would show major character growth for him, which we haven't really seen yet for him.

I hope Fina has some good sex with Adolfo, and that's it. He's a murderer and a drug enforcer. They have no future together. But that doesn't mean they can't have fun until the truth comes out, or that he can't be useful/helpful to her. Right now they share the same goal-- saving Nadia and Vicky. No way would Adolfo do anything to jeopardize that, no matter how untrustworthy he is.

Thanks everyone for the great recaps this week. They are a joy to read and it really helps so I know what scenes to watch and what ones I can skip.

Why can’t Ale ever lead with I WAS IN A COMA FOR SEVEN YEARS. He pulled the same thing with his mother. I was holding my breath while Ale’s story took three times as long as it should have, expecting JL to interrupt before he had a chance to tell Mons that he WAS IN A COMA FOR SEVEN YEARS.

As others have noted, Maria not changing from her stint in rehab is because she’s mentally ill—has been probably since she was born or from childhood. I think she was molested by her uncle. I think her not grieving for her father longer than two seconds was because he either turned a blind eye or she thought, as a child, he should have known and saved her.

Is JL looking greasier because they are making him a villain?

Fatima: you mentioned a few days ago about your “one true weakness”. Your empathy is not your one true weakness, it’s one of your strengths.

Eli, I hope you're enjoying the reward of a wonderful day with your sister. Thanks for your recap.

Fofito/El Alecran always talked a good game with Finita, but can he turn his evil life around? With Dimi and Josefina, we had the unibrow couple. Now that she has upgraded her looks, do we have Fofito/Finita as a couple?

I'm glad Montse and Ale finally got to meet and talk. Not an easy road for their reunion, or for anything at this point. They need to go for a long ride in the Toyota Tundra, carrying a picnic lunch of Subway sandwiches. Then all would be well.

"And of course we're all waiting for Monse one day soon to faint."

But of course! Requisite plot twist. I'm for voting she heads back into Ale's arms very very soon and THEN she faints. So they we have the added fun of who's the sperm donor? Shoot me.

Side comment: can little Laurito get a buddy? How about a play date with Victoria. That child broke my heart playing outside with his remote control car in the STREET! No wonder he's sad his buddy Dim is leaving.

Daisynjay

Vivi in DC, thank you for explaining why JL went to jail and did not pass "GO". He sure had some strange reasoning going on there, that is for sure.

Oxnard Huero, OK and sorry. Someone asked that question yesterday and I thought it was you. My apologies.

Karen, I agree with you that Adolfo is a danger. His mouth speaks one thing, but his eyes say another. Fina doesn't seem to be able to "read" that part of him.

Daisynjay, you said: "But of course! Requisite plot twist. I'm for voting she heads back into Ale's arms very very soon and THEN she faints. So they we have the added fun of who's the sperm donor? Shoot me. " I am DYING laughing!!!

Nanette, thank you for your kind words. I've spent most of my life being told it is my weakness to the point that I believe it sometimes. Thankfully, there are those times that I know it has helped me. I can "read" eyes very well. Thank you so much for your kindness.

Fatima

I want Adolf to end up with Fina. No one knows who he is. If Pedro and E.Z. die with Maria, he could get that little house with his 2.5 kids in the country.

Ale may not have allowed Montse to leave the house, basically holding her captive, to keep her from leaving him but I don't see JL doing the same. I can see him making it difficult. But he moved in with Montse, gave his former place to Dim, so poor thing really has nowhere to go. I wouldn't want to be sleeping on the couch at Esme and Ref's place. Maybe he and Ale can switch places at Josefina, the Saint of Male Broken Hearts.

Eli,
Thanks for the recap. It was precisely what this epi needed. An informative and fun summary.

Exactly what I needed. The reunion between Montse and Ale. I can breathe a sigh of relief. I too thought for a moment that Montse wouldn't let Ale explain. I totally understand her POV. Plus JL planted the seed that Ale had forgotten about her. So she was joyous to see him alive, but wondered what took him soooo long. I did love the fact that the first words she said to him were, "Alejandro, mi amor!" In that instant she probably was like "JL, who?" She forgot that she was married. I was worried that they might do the typical novela thing and not let Ale explain where he had been, but thankfully they talked and got some things clear. I liked that Montse went in for the kiss at the end. There was more chemistry in that kiss than the "noche de bodas" between Montse and JL.

Shut up Mac! OMG! He almost spilled the frijoles. I just loved the look on Rosario's face, when JL was coming up behind Mac. Priceless!

I don't know if Fina can trust Fofito. I think he cares for Fina, and he does want to help Nadia & Vicky, but I got a bad vibe from him last night at Fina's house. It might have been that eye-mind moment that made me feel uneasy. Plus the fact that BM is living with him, and he is going to tell her about Ale. I really hate that. If Fina was willing to give Adolfo the benefit of the doubt, then he should tell her about BM living with him.

BTW, the blue button-down shirts are back! My Ale looked so handsome.

Daisynjay,
I loved your comment about Montse not fainting til after she spends some quality time with her man Ale. You took the words right out of my mouth. Wouldn't it be interesting if Montse and JL only did the deed on their first night together? Impossible? Not in Telenovelaland.

Back to work...hasta pronto!

Thank you, Eli, your recap was just what I needed after the busy day I've had.

I was afraid that Ale would drag this forever and Montse would be too upset with him for lying.
Nevermind that, she's just too happy that he's alive. She didn't even blink an eye when she told him that she didn't love JL... Hehe, I guess now it's JL's turn to be the oblivious husband.
I agree that both men can't live in the same world. JL has already given up Montse in the name of his great love once, there will be no more sacrifices from him. So that only leaves ... fighting to the death.
I wonder what will keep Montse with him, though. I'm sure she won't just go back to Ale, there would be no drama in this.
I hope she's not pregnant!!!

Vivi...

I hope Fina has some good sex with Adolfo, and that's it. He's a murderer and a drug enforcer. They have no future together. But that doesn't mean they can't have fun until the truth comes out, or that he can't be useful/helpful to her.

Love that philosophy!. Might as well love the one you are with.

But does Fina know how many times a scorpion can sting a night and how long it takes to replenish that venom?

Oxnard...HA. !!!!

Vivi...very pragmatic !

Why waste those kissable lips, long-lashed soulful eyes, and general hotness? I'm a pragmatic girl. ;-)

Vivi

Why waste those kissable lips, long-lashed soulful eyes, and general hotness? I'm a pragmatic girl. ;-)

Sounds like you should be on the next plane to Aguazul.

But, hey, if Carlota and the Little General EZ can compartmentalize their lives, who are we to judge about the private goings-on of Fofito and la 'Fenomena'?

After all, Afolfito does have that rose tattoo with the thorn in the shape of a "J".
