Por Siempre Mi Amor #106 (Mexico #145) 5/1/14- Marriage is For Obligation Not Love, Sonia, You Are Borlas' Mother and Dr. Santa is Reading His List Over Twice and It Doesn't Add Up!
Happy May Day! I tried to combine the scenes as much as I could.
The past
Fab tells Tita and Osvy about Sucia's refusal to sign the divorce papers. Osvy tells Fab to give it time and his feelings will die for Sucia. Fab says too late, he feels nothing for her now.
The past
The witch doctor slithered in Art's bedroom to remember the old times, suck face and do the horizontal mambo.
The present
Her dress came off with one movement and they sucked face some more. Stupid Art is completely under the witch doctor's spell.
GIl
lets Cuca know that Borlas is Sucia's son. How ironic. Dan wants to
have a family dinner with Mari and Dan to let them know about Borlas.
Dan
asks Borlas about the test, he thinks that he passed thanks to Ileane.
He shares that he is in love with Ileana while she thought bubbles
about almost kissing him. She doesnt want to be too confident and think
that they are more than friends. Borlas is not confident enough to ask
Ileana if she feels the same. She is high class and he has a "little
thug in him" and he's from the hood. Some girls like a bad boy, oops, I
digress)
Speakimg of the horizontal mambo,
Zenaida slips into Balthy's bedroom in her nightie and chases a shy
Balthy around the room. She literally tries to jump his bones and lands
on the floor. She shows him a little leg and he calls for his mommy.
It wakes up Osvy and Tita and the whole household.
Art
is not basking in the after glow of the sex. He is not ready to start a
new relationship. The witch doctor begs to differ. (Hey witch doctor-
it doesn't sound like hot sex to me) Ewwww!!!
Isa begs for God's help. She has to prove that Feo is alive. The Lord will not abandon her.
The
whole Del La RIva/Escudero household is awaken. The virgin Balthy is
covered with lipstick and Zenaida's hair is a little messed up. Mari is
sent off to bed as if she didn't know what was happening and Bruno,
Tita and Osvy can't contain themselves from laughter. Balthy claims
that he didn't like it at all. He is going to sue Zenaida. He doesn't
want to involve Osvy and the family in such a disgraceful case, so he
won't sue. Tita is going to have a chat with Zenaida and Balthy is
leaving. ( I guess we needed a reprieve from all of the evil)
Andrea
is having a nightmare featuring Feo. A car appears with Gonzalo as
the laughing driver and a laughing Feo puts on his wig. The laughing
fools drive away. Andrea deducts that Feo wanted revenge and that's why
he kidnapped her kids.Andrea is sure that Gonzalo knew that Feo was
alive. She says that they need to find Efren, because he knows where
Feo is and they can find Isa.
Ara encounters
the witch doctor in the hallway during the night and witch doctor can't
wait to tell Ara that she spent the night with her dad. Ara is happy
that her dad has found love again and with such a good woman.
(Viewerville begins the collective eye roll and gags in chorus) Dumb
Art pleasingly watches.
The story of Gonzalo
and Efren knowing about Feo makes sense to Gaby. Mau remembers that
they were able to locate Efren when Este was arrested.
A visitor leaves her cell phone on the outside table at the nut house and Isa doesn't waste time in grabbing it.
Mau,
Andrea and Gaby (The Scooby Team- thanks VIvi) go to the precinct ansd
speak to the comandante. They know that Efren (who was never caught)
can give Feo's wherabouts and Mau can assist in having a sketch of Efren
made. The investigation is reopened.
Isa calls Gaby and thankfully
she answers. Of course she didn't get a chance to tell Gaby where she
was. The comandante suggests that Gaby call the number. They are
wokring on the sketch and the police will look for Efren Gomez aka
Methusulah.
An anguished Isa is still praying for help. She
speaks to the baby and vows to fight for him and not let him succumb to
the same fate as Miquelito.
The lady who lost her cell phone
causes a ruckus. The cell phone is found and Gaby calls her. Gaby asks
for Isa and the lady is rude and hangs up. Mau is going to call her, he
asks for Isa and she rudely hangs up again.
The
witch doctor says that Daphne needs a reason to live. (The witch
doctor is truly inept because we all know that Daphne is faking it-
right? UA) The witch doctor leaves but wants to be kept informed of any
changes with Daphne. Este slips in and the witch doctor tells him to
take care of his "girl".
An embarassed Balthy is leaving and then Zenaida tells him to told his horses, she will leave.
Borlas
gets the courage to talk to Ileana about them. (Borlas and Ileana
k-i-s-s-i-n-g) As Borlas tells Ileana how he feels, she sweetly plants
one on his lips. They kiss for real.
Borlas is in 7th heaven but just wait until he finds out that he is
rich. He will be walking on clouds. His heart was broken but with
Ileana's kindness she fixed it. He formally asks Ileana to be his girl.
He gets all tongue tied and nervous. Ileana says yes
Daphne
starts her guilt trip, that she should die so that everyone can be
happy, blah, blah, blah. Este has been thinking and he will marry her.
Daphne wants to get married ASAP and not to tell Ara, oops anyone.
They will go away and get married and return as husband and wife. Este
looks like he swallowed a lemon. He feigns happiness and looks as if he
just heard his death sentence. Oh right, he did.
Este and Daphne get their stories
straight, they are going Valle De Bravo. Lucha will get a suitcase ready
for Daphne and she tomorrow morning they leave. She can't wait. She
thought bubbles that finally, Este will be hers. Only hers
Bruno
can tell that Art has some evil nookie. Ewwwwwwwww! Bruno is glad
that he is in a better mood but not because of the nookie. Bruno tells
Art to let his love for Isa die before starting a new love. He tells
his story, before he let his love for Gaby die, he proposed to Ally.
Unbeknowst to both fools, Ally is eavesdropping. Bruno is giving up on
love and staying married, (now typing that sounds terrible, imagine
hearing it) to Ally and being a dad to Uriel and Pulga. It's the most
painful decision that he has ever made. They didn't hear Ally walk away
and she told the secretary not to mention that she was there.
Gil
welcomes Borlas, Cuca is happy but Borlas doesn't know why. GIl tells
him that he is Sonia's son. The poor thing looks ill. Agatha gives the
details about Lucero, FF to today. Borlas will get everything that his
mother refused to give him starting with a last name and a family.
Borlas is visibly moved and hugs Mari. Who knew that his real family
was so close. Tio Dan welcomes him to the family.
Ugh
Feo( I thought that I would have escaped seeing the pudgy, little man
tonight, but no) and the with doctor are having lunch and he tells her
that he has submitted the necessary documentation that will allow Isa to
be medicated. She figures out that Feo secured fake documentation and
she shares that she doctored up Isa's file. Feo wants the witch doctor
to be as convincing as possible if Dr. Santa calls her for an evaluation
before dispensing the medication to Isa. Feo wants Isa to be crazy for
real and locked up forever. The witch doctor tries to dig as to why Feo
hates Isa but Feo keeps it to himself.
Dr.
Santa is talking to another doctor. The tests that the witch doctor
brought in do not match their latest tests. The other doctor knows that
the witch doctor is a excellent Neonatologist, he didn't know that she
was qualified to be a psychiatrist. Thank goodness- Dr. Santa is going
to investigate how the witch doctor came to diagnose Isa as a
schizophrenic. Since Isa has been there she had not showed any
traces/episodes of schizophrenia. Something is not right!!
Dr,
Santa asks Isa what does she do for a living. Isa tells him about Casa
Arte and Gaby. He can check their website, but an emergency occurs and
he has to leave.
Sucia has a tantrum in the
lawyer's office and refuses to sign the divorce papers. Fab tells her
to sign because their marriage is over. Sucia begs for a last chance.
She outright refuses to sign. She wants to be Mrs. De La RIva. Fab
looks like he wants to choke her. The hearing office makes another
appointment since they could not come to an agreement.
Gil
is taking Borlas to meet his mom. Borlas becomes visibly nervous. SHe
hasn't looked for hi all of his life, he saw her at Tita's wedding but
he would rather not see her. He asked about his dad. Borlas has Gil.
Gil and Borlas hug and the family has dinner. Agatha, you are a miracle
worker!
Fab tells Tita and Osvy about Sucia's refusal to sign the divorce papers. Osvy tells Fab to give it time and his feelings will die for Sucia. Fab says too late, he feels nothing for her now.
At the dinner table, Gil tells his family that he and Agatha are getting married.
Borlas can't wait to share his news with Ileana. He is related to Dan. He is his uncle. Borlas leaves a tip in coins. (Cute- he's trying)
Bruno and Gaby are meeting Ally at the same restaurant. Funny, Bruno and Gaby are at the table and Ally is watching.
Dr.
Santa checks the internet and finds out that the witch doctor has a
master's degree in psychiatry. Then he checks the Casa Arte page and Isa
is telling him the truth.
Borlas goes to
Sucia's for a face to face. She tries to shut the door in his face but
he is not having it. He tells her who he really is. Sucia is left with
her usual "deer in the headlights- duh- expression".
Coming attractions:
The witch doctor wants to be Mrs. De La Riva
Ileana helps Isa escape- Must see TV!!- Sara, it looks like you have a good one.

Cesar Evora has probably worn out his galan card by now unless he loses a bunch of weight; he is 54. I wish Televisa would get Edith Gonzales back because she is fabulous no matter what she plays.
HSG has a big future as a lead villain based on this performance.
Here's a novel idea for an ending: Isabel gets free, fArt finds out what Marcela did and refuses to marry her. She kidnaps fArt and shoots him up with sodium pentathol or something similar and Isabel has to rescue him!

TJ thanks for this great recap. Things are looking up for Isa, thankfully. And why on earth is Este letting himself feel guilty enough to agree to get married? His parents, some of the only sensible people in this tn, have told him not to make that mistake and yet....
Yeah for Dr. Santa, another person who actually thinks, an unfortunate anomaly in this tn. And yeah for more happy moments. I may actually watch this episode b/c it does not seem that Isa was tortured.

Ha! Dumb Art just slept with the enemy! What a fool! And of course Isa doesn't get the chance to tell Gaby where she is. But don't worry, folks! It's only a matter of time before she gets out of that nut place! And bla bla bla enough with the fillers aka boring parts already! Just skip to the good parts, dammit! :/ It's such a pain to have to sit through all the unimportant/irrelevant subplots that do not add to the story at all! Like, who cares??! Also, last but not least, FeVier is the best villain ever! :D Yeah, that's right! I said it! Everything he does is pure evil genius & that's why I like him! Simply put, the bad guys are the best & for once in a telenovela someone does it right cuz all of the other so-called villains suck! :P

As for Dafne-I don't think she's faking it. Like gringo mentioned, it would be hard to fake it when being poked and having ice rubbed on your feet. Plus, we haven't had one of those cliched scenes where the supposed paralytic patient gets out of the wheelchair and walks around when they are alone. Whenever Dafne is alone, she stays in the chair.
I hope Isa does escape and it's not a red herring of an avance. I can't wait for tonight! Must see TV!

I felt a slight glimmer of hope last night for the very first time! Anxiously read every word of your wonderful recap.
In addition to what Sara noted, I also though "The witch doctor slithered in Art's bedroom to remember the old times, suck face and do the horizontal mambo" and "Some girls like a bad boy, oops, I digress" were a few of my favories.
Thrilled Borlas has a new family. But I was puzzled as to why he wasn't told privately, given a chance to digest the news and then have the family reunion? Clearly awkward but Borlas came through like a champ in spite of such shocking revelations. My heart went out to him when he asked about his father and of course looked crushed when he was told he was Sonia's son. Gil did have the very best intentions even if not executed in the best possible way. Give him credit for confronting Sonia. How hard that must have been.
So happy Isa is thinking clearly and that there is finally a chink in Feo's plans. As you noted Karen, "Yeah for Dr. Santa, another person who actually thinks, an unfortunate anomaly in this tn". Still chuckling my agreement.

I realize that Zenaida and Balty was meant to be comic relief, but it was so ridiculous! Balty a virgin? That thought did occur to me because there was so much absurdity in the first place, but it makes me feel really bad for Zenaida.
Feo has topped the villain scale, indeed, although Pedro of LQLVMR could surpass him with 60-70 episodes to go.
HSG and LC as the villains would require very worthy nemeses, for which I nominate Jorge Salinas and Silvia Navarro. What a story I could make out of that combination.

Thank you for the wonderful recaps! I do not comment much, but I do faithfully read. I am feeling so disturbed by these last episodes, that I had to comment that because of these recaps, I have been able to digest them in a lighter light. I hate the way Isa has been tortured. I hate the way Art has been acting. I am one of those who would agree with an ending of Art sacrificing his life for Isa and the baby instead of them ending up together. I just cannot see him redeeming himself! I am glad there is only one more week; I feel like I have been holding my breath this whole time. Thanks again everybody! I appreciate all of your work. Gabi said Ally wanted to meet with her and Bruno said the same thing. I think Ally is going to dump Bruno in front of Gabi. In public. Which is pretty low class to me.

I don't think it a plan other than Esteban believing he made a commitment and owes The Duck but moreover just a ploy of the writing staff for ABrat to swoop in and stop the marriage. I find it hard to even look at ABrat when she is on screen and think much less of Esteban for mooning over her still. Not like there was any ambiguity about her motive to leave Esteban or what she did with herself for the last year with Javier. The boy is just stupid. I know we have all commented on it but my mother called me last night and typical whatcha doing, well I'm neck deep with a Mexican soap. Now she doesn't watch and after a good laugh I gave her an 80,000 ft. snapshot and when I got to - and she dumped the son to give her virginity to the father but no one knew at the time he was the father but everybody thinks the father did it with the stepmother but the boy still moons over the girl- I didn't get to finish. She just said that boy is stupid and she said she had to go.
Love makes some people stupid, and Estebonbon has been stupid in love with Ara since they were 10 and she got into a fist fight to defend him.

Sorry to be soooo late to join the party, my internet provider was down for several hours and I've just been able to get online

last night but I guess that would be too much to wish for. I don't think that even the magic genie could grant us that wish.

Art is completely under the witch doctor's spell.
It's been mentioned but another one of your good lines was--Some girls like a bad boy, oops, I digress.
So the writers were playing with us about Isa getting to a cell phone. In reality she could have hid behind the tree just for a few seconds and said that I am at the XYZ psych ward before she dropped the phone and ran. Also--
Gaby could have had the police trace the owner of the cell phone, tracked her down and told the lady that it was of EXTREME importance as to where she was when she lost her phone. however,
that may be asking too much for a novela.
Susanlynn---Dr. Witch/Bitch is PERFECT.
So it took Aranza a long time to accept Isabel but Dr. Witch/Bitch
is A OK. WHAT???!!!
I have always been ready to join the galan redemption crowd but---

Yeah! Dr. Santa is actually a good doctor that really cares and wants to help people.

How does Ileana solve the puzzle and find Isabel? I CANT WAIT--I CAN'T WAIT. Must see TV tonight.

Fer - so evil - and then he stands up and we see this short, older, bald guy with an enormous beach ball belly! Ick! So ridiculous that Ara would ever have anything to do with him!
I am afraid I will be bitterly disappointed, but it would be SO COOL if Ileana does rescue Isabel from the manicomio! Isabel needs a few episodes to see what her ex (that she leant know is an ex) is up to, and Fev still has time for one more attempt even after a rescue.
Yep - Ara - hey you spent the night with Dad, cool! Ick! Not even 24 hours divorced. The punishment for Art will be everyone pushing him to marry the bitchdoctor ASAP while he starts to realize things aren't quite right and that Marcela gives him the heebiejeebies!

Here's a novel idea for an ending: Isabel gets free, fArt finds out what Marcela did and refuses to marry her. She kidnaps fArt and shoots him up with sodium pentathol or something similar and Isabel has to rescue him!
