Por Siempre Mi Amor #108 (Mex #147) 5/5/14 Dr. Skankenstein is BSC, Dafne is Busted and fArt *Finally* Gets a Clue
Well here we are in the final week of this TN and still so much to resolve! Will the writers be able to bring this to a satisfying conclusion? We'll know on Friday. For now I want to say Thank You to all of you who have been with us on this very frustrating journey. Thanks to my fellow recappers: Corazon Salvaje, Tablet Jefe, J Desde NYC and Sara who have done a great job! Thanks also the commenters who have responded to our work and given us much humor and great insights into the characters. (Tofie your lists have been da bomb!) Many times I have enjoyed the conversations in the comments more than this novela which Univision did its best to sabotage. This was my first time recapping and I enjoyed it. I learned so much and I hope to do it again sometime in the fall. My final picture for Por Siempre Mi Amor is this:

On to the recap!
As Isabel runs toward the house she sees Marcela (aka Dr. Skankenstein) coming down the stairs. Isabel leaps toward Dr. Skankenstein and lands a stinging slap to her face. Isabel never should have trusted her. She can't believe her lies, that she's after her husband. Marcela calls Isabel loca. Isabel yells, "The crazy one is you, Marcela!" Marcela says Arturo hates Isabel now. "You're dead to him! You don't exist!" Isabel tries to get past Marcela to the house. They scuffle. Marcela hits Isabel with her medical case. The thump is so loud I have to wonder if she's carrying bricks in there. Isabel falls to the ground unconscious. Marcela takes a syringe and a vial from her bag and shoots Isabel with a sedative. This is daylight and out in the open in front of a house full of people. Why doesn't anyone hear the screaming or see what's happening here?
The nurse at the manicomio tells Dr. Santa and Gabi that Isabel is nowhere to be found. Dr. Santa tells Gabi not to worry, they have good security and they'll find Isabel.
Arturo notices that Bruno is lost in thought. "What's wrong?" Bruno tells Art that Ally wants a divorce.
At Casa Arte, Mauricio calls Gabi and tells her that Ileana helped Isabel escape from the manicomio. Gabi heads back to the office.
Gil and Agatha show Borlas his new bedroom. Gil is going to call his lawyer and start the paperwork to legally recognize Borlas as his grandson. Borlas says that he passed his exam thanks to his novia, the lovely Ileana. Gil and Agatha look really pleased about Borlas' good grades and his girlfriend.
A police cruiser pulls up outside Meth's county hideout. Inside, Feo is packing a bag while talking to Meth. Feo hears the car and peeks out the curtain. The police are here! They need to vamoose out the back.
Ileana tells Gabi, Andrea, Mauricio and Edgar that Isabel wanted to go talk to Arturo and Aranza. She offered to drive Isabel but then gave her money for a taxi because she had none. They all head out to look for Isabel.
The cops knock at the door of the hideaway. There's no answer. They are about to leave when Feo and Meth come running out from behind the house. The cops draw their guns and give chase.
Outside Arturo's, Lucha tells Gabi that she hasn't seen Isabel and that Dr. Skankenstein has pretty much moved in. Andrea says that woman can't be trusted. Lucha gets upset. She doesn't understand what is going on. Gabi asks Lucha to let them know if Isabel comes back. In the background, Dante watches from the bushes.
Feo and Meth run into the hedge maze and the officers follow. The bald cop manages to run down Methusela and drags him out of the maze. Agent Rosas says, "You must be Efran Gomez." Meth claims they've made a mistake, his name is Ernesto and he's an honest man. (Because every honest person runs like a rabbit when the cops show up.) Agent Rosas asks Meth about Javier Castillo, aka Fernando Cordova. Meth seems to know the jig is up.
Dr. Skankenstein drives with the unconscious Isabel in the back seat of her car.
Feo calls Dante who tells him that Gabi, Andrea, Mauricio and Ileana showed up at Arturo's looking for Isabel. Javier wants Dante to go to Iakani and look for Isabel.
Lucha tells Aranza that Gabi and Andrea were looking for Isabel. Aranza threatens to kick Isabel out if she shows up at the house. Lucha defends Isabel's innocence and says they'll just have to agree to disagree. Lucha changes the subject to Dafne. She thinks Dafne is faking her paralysis. She's sure Dafne can walk. They cook up a test to prove it.
At the police station Meth tries to cut a deal. He claims all he did was provide falsified documents to Javier Castillo. He did it all under duress. Javier threatened him and it was Javier who set up the money laundering business. Agent Rosas asks him point blank, "Are Javier Castillo and Fernando Cordova the same person?" Meth sinks back in his chair and looks at the floor. "Yes." He tells the police that Feo had plastic surgery to change his appearance, then killed the clinic staff.
Gabi, Andrea and Ileana go to Iakani to talk to Arturo. Bruno says Arturo isn't at the office. He asks if it's about Isabel. What do they know? Gabi says there's a lot to talk about so Bruno takes them to talk in his office.
As Dafne is sleeping Aranza slips into her room and hides in the closet. Gabino comes in and makes noise as he takes the wheelchair. Dafne wakes up and sees him leaving with the chair. She tells him to stop because she needs her wheelchair. How is she going to get to the bathroom? Dafne yells for Lucha. This time Lucha doesn't come running. Aranza watches as Dafne gets up from the edge of the bed and walks out of the room.
Gabi tells Bruno that Isabel recovered her memory. Ileana says Marcela forged papers to get Isabel committed to the manicomio and she helped Isabel escape!
Aranza hides behind the bedroom door and Dafne walks back in. B-U-S-T-E-D! Aranza slams the door and yells, "How could you do this? How could you lie to us, Dafne?"
Dr. Skankenstein drags Isabel across the floor of a dark, dusty basement. She thought bubbles, "What's the best way to get rid of you?" She walks to the stairs and leaves Isabel lying on the floor.
Aranza yells that Dafne was trying to trap Esteban by pretending to be an invalid. Lucha and Gabino listen gleefully from the hall. Art walks into the house and calls for Lucha. From the balcony Lucha answers that Dafne has been lying to them. She can walk! Arturo hears the screaming and heads up the stairs.
In the bedroom the girl-fight rages. Dafne screams at Aranza, "I hate you!" She bitch slaps Aranza and Aranza bitch slaps her back. We hear screams of I hate you! I hate you! Let me go! Oh please, please. I am enjoying this so much. Please nobody separate them. Let these two fight it out to their mutual deaths in a big pile of bloody hair extensions, fake fingernails, and platform stilettos. Arturo pulls them apart. Damn! He looks incredulously at Dafne who uses this pause in the action to jump past him and attack Aranza yet again. The two fighters are dragged away from each other and in the ruckus Arturo drops his cell phone. Lucha rats Dafne out for kicking the dog. Aranza says that Dafne was planning to run away and force Esteban to marry her. Forever Clueless Arturo is shocked as usual. Dafne begs him not to send her back to her parents. "You know they don't love me. You're the only family I've got!" Viewerville sits in disbelief as we hear Arturo utter words we've never heard from him before in regard to Dafne, "That's not my problem." He gives Dafne a look of disgust and orders her to leave the house. Dafne turns and begs Aranza not to kick her out. Aranza tells Lucha to pack Dafne's stuff. I have to laugh when Lucha says Dafne's things are already packed. Dafne sits on the floor and cries while Lucha clears the rest of her clothes out of the closet.
Dante shows up at Iakani looking for Isabel. The receptionist tells him Isabel hasn't been there for a long time. Didn't he know that the couple had divorced?
Arturo and Aranza talk about Dafne. "She lied." "I trusted her." "It's not your fault." "She was jealous of you." "She was jealous that Esteban loved me, me, me!" "She wasn't staying here for love, just for the benefits." Blah, blah, blah. You two are soooo abused. Boo. Freaking. Hoo.
Dante lingers in the hall at Iakani. (Doesn't this firm have any security? Oh wait, it's Arturo's firm. What a silly question.) He watches Bruno, Gabi, Andrea and Ileana leave. He calls Feo and tells him Isabel isn't there, but he did see Gabi and Andrea leave with Bruno. Feo instructs Dante to follow them, discretely of course, then hangs up and wonders if maybe Marcela knows Isabel's whereabouts.
Marcela ties Isabel to a chair and prepares another injection. Isabel is waking up and asks, "Where am I? Where am I?" Marcela says she hates Isabel more than ever now that she's pregnant with Arturo's child, "I'll make sure your son is never born. You and your son are going to disappear." Isabel says, "You'll have blood on your hands. What about your career? Your life? You won't get away with this." Marcela retorts, "You're mentally ill. No one will suspect anything if you die of a heart attack brought on by your lack of medications." (Hmmm, deja vu all over again. Shades of Sonia. Are they sisters?)
In the basement behind Marcela we see dolls. Hundreds of dolls. Dolls on shelves, dolls on the floor, dolls hanging from the wall. She picks one up and coos at it. It seems we've misjudged her. If anyone is an expert on mental illnesses, it's this witch. I wonder if she also has multiple personalities? Marcela decides she needs to go get a different medication. She leaves the basement. Isabel prays to God for help.
Arturo and Aranza talk some more. "I was hard on you." "I was defiant." "I'm proud of you." "I won't be such a pain in the ass anymore." (Apparently Aranza has never heard that a leopard can't change its spots.) But... they loooovvvvee each other. I could just puke.
At the police station, Mauricio tells Agent Rosas that Feo kidnapped Angel and tried to have Esteban put in prison for theft and fraud! Feo was willing to hurt his own sons. Mauricio gets so upset that Edgar has to put his hand on Mau's shoulder to calm him down. Agent Rosas tells them that Dr. Santa has made an appointment to talk to him about Dr. Marcela Zambrano.
Gabi, Bruno, Andrea and Ileana try to talk to Arturo about Isabel. Arturo doesn't want Gabriela in his house. He doesn't want to hear their lies. Ileana yells that they have important information about Isabel. Arturo yells back that nothing concerning his ex-wife is at all important to him. Bruno gets mad and says Arturo better listen to what they have to say or he'll regret it for the rest of his life. Arturo gives them 10 minutes.
Feo calls Marcela, "Is Isabel with you?"
"I have her at my mercy, since you couldn't seem to keep her locked up."
Andrea tells Arturo that Fernando isn't dead. Javier and Fernando are the same person. Art doesn't believe it. Feo died in prison. Gabi is insistent "No. That isn't true. He didn't die in the fire at the prison. He escaped and took on another identity." Bruno cuts in, "He's been taking his revenge on Andrea and Isabel and that includes your daughter." Arturo shouts, "I don't believe it!" Gabi plows on, "Fernando didn't die in prison, the police have confirmed it." Dumb Arturo says, "That's impossible." Andrea and Gabi plead with him to try to understand. Ileana yells, "When Isabel recovered her memory, he had her put in the manicomio!" Gabi cries, "Isabel is expecting your child!" Arturo suddenly looks like something finally got through his stupid, thick skull.
Marcela threatens to expose Feo and his dirty deeds. If she does, he threatens that something bad will happen to Arturo. Feo is good at getting rid of people. Maybe Arturo will have an accident.
Arturo says, "Isabel is pregnant with my child?" Andrea and Gabi tell Arturo that Isabel always loved him and never, ever cheated on him. Gabi continues, "Your Amigacita Marcela provided Fernando with all the documents to have Isabel committed to the psychiatric hospital diagnosed as a schizophrenic." Andrea cries, "He's been behind everything that has happened, the explosion in your building, Angel's kidnapping, Esteban getting jailed, my mother's death. Fernando is responsible for everything! It's true Arturo." Arturo looks panicked. They have to find Marcela!
Marcela calls Arturo's cell phone which is laying on the floor in Dafne's room. She tries Art's home phone. It's busy because Arturo is trying to call her. Marcela paces in front of her car. Just an aside here: we know Marcela lives in an apartment because Gabi has gone there twice. I wonder whose house this is? Perhaps her parents? Since Marcela is obviously BSC I can't help wondering if her parents are dead and she's got them propped up in rocking chairs somewhere inside.
I did not get to see the rest of the phone conversation between Marcela and Feo. Could someone please fill in.
Marcela returns to the basement. She's back in crazy mode. She has the syringe in her hand and them picks up a doll and hides the syringe behind it. "I can't kill you yet. But I'll have to put you to sleep again." She walks slowly toward Isabel, passes her, then turns and plunges the syringe into Isabel's leg.
Aranza tells Esteban about how she discovered Dafne's lies. FF---> There's a knock at the door? Who could that be??
Dr. Santa brings the falsified medical documents Marcela gave him to the police station. He thinks Marcela should lose her medical license. Agent Rosas thinks she needs to do time in prison. I vote for both.
Esteban opens the door and Dafne waltzes through. She doesn't notice Aranza sitting on the couch on the other side of the room. "Esteban, look! It's a miracle! I can walk again." Esteban tells her to stop pretending. He knows. It's over. Take a long walk off a short pier. Make like a baby and head out. Dafne deals the "But you promised to marry me" card and Esteban shows her the door. Adios para siempre.
After Dafne leaves Esteban asks Aranza for another chance. She vows nothing will ever separate them again. Yeah. Right. This is Aranza you're talking to Esteban. It's just a matter of time...
Dante calls Feo and tells him that Gabi, Andrea, Ileana and Bruno are at Arturo's house. Feo wants Dante to find out what's up.
Dafne talks to herself as she pulls her suitcase down the street. Poor sad Dafne. She sits alone and forlorn on a staircase. Do I hear her singing a song?

Arturo is driving when he gets a call from Javier. Arturo growls, "You Bastard! I know everything you did!" Javier laughs. He's not afraid of Arturo and tells him things are going to get worse. "If you want to see Isabel again you need to do exactly as I say."
Advances:
Bruno tells Gabi that he and Ally are divorcing.
Andrea cries and tells Esteban and Aranza that Javier and Fernando Cordova are the same person.
A horrified Aranza realizes that she slept with Esteban's father!
Marcela tells Isabel that Arturo divorced her.
Arturo and Feo fist fight.

I just wanted to add that I was having TV reception problems again last night so some of the conversations may not be right. I had to give it my best guess. If anything is wrong, please let me know in the comments.

Really, I think the reason for the relatively low ratings this one had in Mexico was its time slot. This one didn't belong in the afternoon.
"Dr Skankenstein" -- good one! What I still want to know is why Osvy was so hot on the idea of fArt marrying her in the first place. Her anvil should be to end up in the giggle jacket herself in a facility for the criminally insane.

Tonight's episode for me was filled with mixed emotions, happiness and anger. Que the hell??? The witch doctor really carries a syringe in her purse. I just said that on Friday trying to add a bit of humor to my comment, not realizing that it was true. And boy is she strong, to carry a person and drag them while in stilettos. Unbelievable!! She is as crazy as the day is long!!!! I love the name Dr. Skankenstein, so fitting.
How much more does Isa have to suffer? Enough already! I can hear CD- saying I told you so, it's not going to end well for Isa.
Okay, Ileana, helped Isa escape and why aren't the police looking for Isa?
Are there only 2 officers in that department? The capture of Methusualah was ridiculous, I love what you wrote- "(Because every honest person runs like a rabbit when the cops show up.)" No one could call for back up while Feo roams free. I've had it!!!!!

FInally Art awoke from his sleep and realized that she had been using them and was insanely jealous of Ara. Lucha never cared for Daphne and was as pleased as punch to pack the rest of her things.
Este, I'm glad that you are free but I wish that you took your time in taking Ara back.

The witch doctor tells Feo that she will unmask him to everybody and he tells her that if she does he will kill her because she won't be the first. The witch doctor wants to know if Feo is fooling her.

Just to clarify a little more, what Feo said to Marcela is that if she kills Isa, HE will kill Art. So, Feo's really the only thing keeping Isa alive right now. How ironic. The fact that Marcela can't reach Art by phone right now and confirm that he is well and alive, is what's driving her crazy (well, crazier than she already is).
I think the anvil the writers have to Ara is that just as she gets happy that she and Este are back together, with no more obstacles, she's going to find out she slept with his father. BOOM! But poor Esteban. He doesn't deserve the hurt from what he's about to learn about who the real Javier is.
I still hold out hope that Art will die, while saving Isabel. That would be a fitting end for him, and would leave Isa with something good if she saw his sacrifice.
I don't feel the list bit sad for Dafne. She had a very sweet deal and she messed it up all on her own.

Right - what I heard is Feo threaten Marcela that if she harmed Isa, HE would kill Art. That certainly stopped her in her tracks. Only Feo is allowed to harm/terrorize Isa, LOL!

mGreat recap! I am so disgusted with fArt-face and Aragant! They will come out unscathed and trip merrily into the sunset never being aware of or being held accountable for any of their selfish acts and unbearable sense of entitlement! They are both so disgusting that I turn the sound off when they are pontificating.

I. Hate. fArt. I do not think that ending up with him is a happy ending for Isa. Instead of suffering with Ferd, she will suffer with fArt and Aragant. Blecchh The police seem so inept.
That was the dumbest escape scene ever...Ferd loping across the grass...and then , he and Methuseleh pursued by the police guy in the maze. really ????And Ferd gets away ??? Que?
The doll doctor is crazzzzy. Watching her plunging that needle into Isa was horrible. I am hoping that an enormous anvil is swaying above her. It looks like she will be taking Isa's room at the nut house.

boy and now I realize that i should have been reading these recaps and comments all along. I love Guy Ecker, but his character was from the very beginning a loser. (Forever Clueless Arturo suits the character to a tee).

I'm a little confused about what has changed that Fart now knows Isa didn't cheat. No one could prove that before since Fart only believed the video, so how has the truth been exposed. The convo was going so fast and furious, I couldn't keep up.

Xint, you saved the best for last. Thank you for your wit and humor and always excellent observations. It's so hard to believe that this was your first time recapping and I hope you continue.
Loved the title and laughed at the screen shot. Perfection! adding so much the excitement of this novela which still has us sitting on the edge of our seats.
"Let these two fight it out to their mutual deaths in a big pile of bloody hair extensions, fake fingernails, and platform stilettos" was one of my many favorites.
"At the police station, Mauricio tells Agent Rosas that Feo kidnapped Angel and tried to have Esteban put in prison for theft and fraud! Feo was willing to hurt his own sons". Yes, Xint. There were so many heinous deeds and events but except for the continual persecution of Isa, this remains the most disturbing aspect for me.
I don't know if the end will be satisfying. I want Art to go away and Isa and Gaby strike out on their own with their children. Mau and Andrea will be happy. I don't really care about the rest although I wish Este well.

Art doesn't know that Isa didn't cheat on him. I was half-surprised he didn't accuse her of being pregnant by someone else. "Isa's pregnant, therefore she must not have cheated" is a total non sequitur, but the writers did rather imply that logic. Or maybe he believed the baby was his because that's what Gabi said? Hmmmmmm
The only thing that might make him think otherwise is his knowing that Javier is actually Isa's ex, Fernando. Then, knowing how Isa felt about Feo, having sent him to jail and all, he would conclude that no way would Isa would cheat on him with Feo.

Thought definitely has nothing to do with it and if I were a character in this tale I'd be telling Gabi that marrying a mama's boy is the worst move she could make.
Though I loved the girl-fight, I hated the fact that Arturo threw Dafne out of the house like that. She's a brat, but still a vulnerable young woman and now she's out on the street. Arturo could have at least paid for a hotel room for a couple of days. I have a feeling though that we haven't seen the end of Dafne.
I think old Ozvi had the hots for Dr. Skank. She always seemed to cozy up to him while Isabel kept to the normal father, daughter-in-law relationship.

gringo, oh, dunno I began ponderin that one as she sat forlorn on the curb. I'm with you her immediate banishment harsh but have little sympathy (I do think she has loved Esteban for ever though), those widdle feet ain't webbed for nothing and believe an enterprising sort such as she will do swimmingly. The girl just got desperate trying to stick a round peg in a square hole. The writers dumped on her pretty good and she can either come out of this (like Sonia) bitter and wanting to murder the world to get her way or take inventory of the wrong turns she's made, buckle down and start over. As I mentioned before and something I admire her for is her ability to size up a situation and lay the truth out there and once she sinks that bill into you won't let go. I know several very successful trial attorney friends the same way. Oh, who am I kidding that would be too much work and she is not quite pretty enough (sorry Duck) to be a cocktail waitress in South Beach so maybe the social director on the love boat. Lots of cute guys.
Dafne can always run to Ileana, who I'm sure will put her up in her home. She put Dan up. She can also bring her own parents to task and demand her rights to be in their home. Until I see multiple doors slamming in her face, I'm not prepared to cry any tears for her. She's not destitute or alone, despite her best efforts to tick off he people who care for her (her friends and their parents).
The ultimate blame for the duck's fate is on her parents. Her father is a selfish jerk and her mother a shrew (and who the hell knows what else).
Anyone who finds herself in such a position that she lives with a classmate should be looking to the day when she has a career and an apartment. Instead the Duck is looking to become Aranza.
Prediction: She will fall into the hands of a pimp.

I don't think the Duck was the nicest of people, but I wasn't comfortable with her ending up alone on the streets. Yes, she needs a lesson and a comeuppance, but I don't think she is in true villain territory....YET. There is time for her to get her life back on track.
She had toxic parents and as has been said fArt isn't the best father figure either. And as far as Ara goes, she was one selfish friend. Did she really ever listen to Dafne? I don't think there is a lot of difference between Ara and Dafne.

Dafne is too selfish to learn her lesson - or rather, the lesson we would want her to learn. She'll move in with Ileana, who has a terrific relationship with her parents and then will decide to BECOME Ileana, only this time she'll plan her takeover better because of what she's just been through. She'll first win over any staff, then the parents and on to a sequel.
Don't understand how the writers have kept Fernando one step ahead of everyone else the whole time and suddenly he pulls a bonehead move like running away in front of the cops. Really?

Actually, there were plenty of times when Ara listened to Dafne's troubles, and that's why she opened up her home to her in the first place. Dafne burned her bridges there. And with Ileana, who has also been a supportive friend to her, she has done nothing but be snide to her all these years. Same thing with Este, until she started being nice to him so that she could have him as a boyfriend. Let's not even talk about Cristian. Sorry folks, but Dafne has always been an ungrateful brat, when she should have appreciated the people in her life since she had such crappy parents.
Well Meanie was stabbed to death for her transgressions so Dafne may not be with the living much longer

Gringo- I do wish her the best. I think she should go knock on Ileana's door, and learn from her mistakes this time and be grateful. Then she needs to get a job, or try to keep the one Isa gave her, and start contributing to Ileana's household, or get her own place. Just sitting on a curb crying and feeling sorry for herself isn't going to do it for me. He's what makes this show fun & watchable! Like he totally steals the show! I just like how quickly he figures out everything cuz of his awesome henchman who fills him in on what's happening which is why he's always one step ahead of all the idiots in dumb-town! He's just too clever for these protagonists! Which is why I think he should not be able to go down easily without a fight! So don't disappoint me, writers!

Anyway! I hate dumb art cuz he's so dumb. And I hate arranza cuz she's such a *bleep* & traitor to her friend dafne the duck as you all call her. Like just like that they kick her out! Pfft! So much for "loving" her like she was part of their family! And all because of ONE damn lie! Like they didn't even bothered to ask why she lied to them! Like they were just so focused on their own pain like omg boo-hoo! We don't care! -_- And they were SO quick to kick her out that it almost seemed like they were just looking for an excuse to get rid of the "burden" they did not want to deal with anymore & so this was the perfect way to lift that burden off their shoulders! That's just terrible! And also notice how QUICK arranza went to tell that jerk esteban about all of this which was SO convenient for him cuz now HE had a reason aka excuse to break up with dafne cuz he couldn't just tell her himself! -_- how pathetic. What else? Oh, yeah Illeana is awesome! All telling dumb art about the truth, like yeah! You tell him, girl! :D
And then of course the best part of the show is every scene FeVier is in! ;) like didn't u guys missed him in yesterday's episode like it just wasn't the same without him? ;) c'mon, admit it already ppl! FeVier Fan, you killing me "all the idiots in dumb-town!" And our bad boy did snap back just like elastic after the close call. He is brash and very clever to threaten Marcela with harming fArt, plus that call to Art was classic in your face so he ain't going down easy.
Oh, and another thing: Dumb Art is the pudgy one! :P HE'S in much worse shape than my fave FeVier! And that's the truth y'all! Don't try to deny it! Peace!

^ omg 70% dying?! :( nooo! Well, at least it's better than him ending up being bullied in prison cuz THAT I do not want to see! :/ As for 10% disfigurement, eh don't really see that happening to him & it wouldn't be the proper punishment for him cuz it seems pointless when he's already been somewhat disfigured in the beginning after he escaped prison. So he's already been disfigured and he's already been in prison so I guess the proper "punishment" left for him is death, I guess. :/ So if that's he case, then let me be the first to say: R.I.P. FeVier, the greatest telenovela villain ever! You will be missed. ;(

You'll not get an argument from me on the best villain ever but I was one that wanted Fernando to end up in a North Korean Gulag not death. No way a befitting end can be dreamed up that can do the "King" justice even anointing him with boiling oil and if his end in anyway directly or indirectly the result of an action of Art's a travesty is committed.
Tofie, I just wanted to say I love this: "I too wanted to puke hearing the conversation between fArt & ABrat concerning all the heathen masses trying to take advantage of their generosity, financial, emotional, social and moral only to be taken advantage of. Good thing they are perfect and there remains a gutter they can cast them back into. You captured them both perfectly.
Did you notice that *both* times, first when Arturo discarded Isabel and then Dafne, he used the phrase, "This is how you pay me back?" He clearly thinks those around him owe him something for being in his mere presence. Art has an overblown sense of self-worth that he's passed on to his not-so-darling daughter.

xInt, I remember a conversation with my grandmother when young and I started doing well professionally, unexpectedly. She said, hon money can bury a lot of sin and buy you a real nice pair of jeans but respect for yourself and others is not for sale
Tofie - yeah! Fev sure knows how to quickly capitalize an opportunity & gain the upper hand in situations where it seems that he's cornered and yet somehow he figures a way out of the mess he's in like easily escaping the cops on his tail 'cuz - dare I say it? - he's a smooth criminal! ;) and seriously, I just love how he keeps messing with dumb art and now he's made him mad & feeling all stupid cuz he is! XD ha! That's what he gets for being such a dumb fool & jerkwad! And I agree that if somehow the idiot dumb art manages to be the one that ultimately "defeats" this awesome villain who's clearly SMARTER & BETTER than him...then it'd be the most heinous act ever done in the history of all telenovelas!!! He just cannot get all the glory & be considered the hero of this story cuz he's not dammit! :/ So if that actually happens - we riot!
