Caray, Caray!

Emi argues with Lupe about how he has changed. Emi goes to his room in a huff.

Lupe calls A-hole. He tells her she has to show up to the office with him to finish baking the donuts (signing the papers). Lupe agrees, but reluctantly, she was not counting on having to show her face.

The nurse is brought to the police bldg… Top Cop asks her where is Mati. Nurse looks down.

At Tomas’ Dr Miranda gives Mati the green light, he can certify she is fully recouped… Mati so glad. She needed his opinion… He suggests she rest another few days. And if you can spend that time with family, even better. Mati says she is already with family. Regarding the RP she will meet up with them later.

At club, AS is turning it on Beba, she wants them to bet some of their jewelry… The ladies take their quick exit, don’t want to play strip poker… AS throws kisses to the wind as the ladies take off… She also fans her newly won cash (was this donation from Beba and Chabela to AS' charities?)…

Chuy and Mati celebrate that she is ready for coming back to the wrestling ring… Mati says even though she feels guilty of keeping her grandkids, especially MA, in the dark about where she is, she wants to wait a few days more. Mati wants to make sure she is really really REALLY 100% ready to face the music.

Top Cop tells MA and Saul that the nurse testified that she blames the staff at the geriatric clinic. She is trying to wash her hands… The nurse says that since Mati was in the other geriatric, she also escaped a few times… so Top Cop has to let her go.

Chuy tells Mati that when MA took her out of the geriatric clinic and took her to the fonda, she did not look as wide awake and healthy as she is now. Chuy felt bad when she would call for Aureliano since he could not come to help her. Mati says that with Chuy’s family around, she felt like she had Aureliano’s presence by her. Chuy says that is how he lost his Marcelita. Mati says that life has taught her that sooner or later our loved ones that have gone still are with us thanks to the great memories they left us. We have to let them go and live the best we can in their honor. (Boy Mati looks grrrrrrrrrreat!!)

Vilma calls A-hole. He is trying to avoid coming to see her… Again she insists she needs to see him in person. HE promises he will come tomorrow, too busy today. When he hangs up he says ‘and you better wait another 30 years for me’.

At Fonda, the Menchacas are eating… Lupe sends Emi to bed. Perla tells them Tizoc will have another show tomorrow night. Tizoc does not look anywhere as excited about the new gig. Perla says we don’t want to see you, we want to see the other artists that will be there. She is excited about her newly found fame (as makeup artist??) Carm can barely contain her excitement… Chuy looks at her weird, thinking it is about Mati. She is super happy about Wendy’s upcoming wedding. Everyone talks about weddings, Perla mentions couples that were expected to end up married and in the end… NOT, like MA and Lupe.. She ends up making Lupe cry…

MA tells AS and Frida that he still can’t find Mati. AS is making a comment that Mati is in heaven surrounded by angels. Maybe the nurse that they found could tell us the truth. Maybe we could buy her to tell us. AS thinks they can ‘buy’ anyone to do anything now that we have money again… The rest of the family protest in unison.

Gwendy had prepared dinner for Nepo and DA. Nepo very thankful, ‘my soon to be wife’. DA very happy for them. Gwendy says ‘you will find a galan(guy) who deserves you!’. Nepo not so happy with that… DA tries to feed him a bite of good news by saying he has a ‘date’ tomorrow with a girl. DA leaves, Gwendy has to clarify to Nepo that DA is trying just to be on his good side… Nepo and Gwendy end up hugging.

AS is still lecturing her family that there is nothing like the power of money. Frida protests about AS’ ‘burgueoise’ thinking. MA is hoping AS is getting used to living on a budget. AS ignores that comment, says they have all been summoned to the corporate office tomorrow. MA is afraid he knows what that is about.

Leo is brainstorming titles for his new symphonic composition...

MA: ‘I studied music and I have no clue what I am doing?’

Lupe takes Emi to school. He suggests she buy another motorbike. She is not so ready to trade in. Lupe says she has to go meet his dad… she suggests to Emi not to be all the time waiting for his dad to come. Just go on with your life, don’t sit and wait for him to come. When Emi leaves, Lupe says ‘ay hijo, I hope it won’t hurt so much later on with the separation’.

MA and Saul talk at MA’s office in fruteria… MA is depressed about the meeting at the office about the clause… MA asks Saul don’t go get wasted about Gwendy, you should pray to St Jude. that is what I (MA) did in jail and it worked for him (Thanks, Mads!)… Saul is not in mood for lectures, so he is delivering his signature farewell and MA cuts him off ‘I know who you are!’. Saul takes his exit.

A-hole is asking the secretary not to eat in the office. He seems to be a bit nicer to her than usual.. Mini comes out to try to ask how come he is so happy and nice today. A-hole asks her what she came for. Mini says she wants to keep an eye on him… so he won’t doublecross her on the deal they have. Mini says after you get the Presidency and the control over all the money, I hope you hurry up and give me what you owe me. Mini asks how fast he will divorce Lupe. A-hole laughs it off saying he is in no hurry. Lupe is his wife, and he won’t rest until ‘she is my WOMAN’ (so much for him divorcing Lupe once he gets the company and money). Now there is a personal selfish ego component to his agenda.

At Fonda, Lupe and Carm are cooking. Lupe’s cell rings. Carm asks Lupe if she will answer, She won’t. MA keeps dialing her. Lupe leaves a voice mail ‘maybe you are fed up and maybe you won’t want to see me. But I won’t stop telling you I can’t be without you… You gotta think about it. Remember that those who are keeping us apart have very good reason to see us split…’ the voice mail recorder cuts him short. Carm keeps trying to ask Lupe what is going on. Lupe won’t tell. Carm tells her she knows Lupe is keeping something from her. But she feels bad. Carm says you used to tell me everything but now..’ Lupe spills it ‘I married A-=hole’. Carm can’t believe it.

Mini tells A-hole he is ‘in love with’ Guadalupe. A-hole keeps insisting he is not in love with Lupe… Mini asks ‘you will tell me know you did not fall for me? I am a goddess(diosa).’ A-hole says ‘you are not diosa, you are odiosa (disgusting). A-hole is also completely sure MA did not feel much for Mini either… MA is head over heels for my wife… and that is why I will make her mine. A-hole goes to his office. Mini walks away miffed.

Perla and Tizoc talk… He keeps saying he is the young pop star, but he looks and sounds not happy at all. He is not happy to be a ‘pop star’. He would like to do his own music… Perla again nags ‘how could you sign that without reading it??’ Tizoc asks her what are you saying, you don’t know how to read either… Perla says that is what we models have our ‘mana-hers’ for.

Lupe crying tells Carm that A-hole threatened her to take Emi away if she did not marry her. Carm says you should have told us your family about it. Lupe says I had no choice. That is what we agreed to, that as soon as he fulfilled the will clause, he would leave us alone. Carm says she does not think A-hole has any ‘word’. Lupe feels the same but she is hoping for the best. Lupe’s cell rings again, but it seems to be an alarm clock. Lupe says its time… Carm gives her her blessing.. Lupe admits she is afraid. And cries on Carm’s shoulder.

At office, MA and the RP have arrived. AS asks MA if he found out why they are there. MA tells them it is about the grandpa clause… The RP guess right, that now their cousin will be in control of the company. AS signals for MA to come close… ‘A-hole married Guadalupe??’ At that moment Lupe shows up. AS turns to her ‘you?’

Mati and Tomas… Tomas had bought her an outfit (THANK GOD!!! GOODBYE RED SILK PJ”S!!!!)

Mati herself is happy she will get out of the PJ’s. Carm comes in running. Carm tells Mati that she just found out something and she thinks Mati can help them with it. Mati asks her ‘what is up’.

AS tells Lupe ‘I knew you are a leech, a arribista, trepadora, someone who just want to climb up classes’.

MA stands between AS and Lupe and tells AS nothing of what she is saying is true, you should apologize to Lupe. Lupe says I don’t need anyone to defend me! Leo joins AS’ bandwagon afraid they will end up ruined.

A-hole opens the door… ‘I suppose you all know my wife, Lupita.’ Please come in. AS thinks ‘Santa Maddonna, don’t let them strip us down again! Don’t allow it! Please…’ Lupe tells A-hole she wants this all to be over asap. A-hole tells her he tried to talk the Board out of requiring her to come. They were also requesting that he bring Emi but he had to work hard in convincing them that that was not necessary.’ Lupe asks A-hole that they need to talk about preparing Emi for not seeing A-hole anymore. A-hole is not ina hurry to talk about it. A-hole brought an engagement and wedding ring to Lupe. She is miffed about it… but he says we have to ‘play the part’. He wants to hug her to celebrate, she just rolls her eyes and turns her back to him.

MA is nagging at AS about offending Lupe. AS only cares about their fortune going back into thin air. The secretary tells them that they all need to come into the conference room. The meeting is about to begin… MA makes a comment like the girl sounded like a vendor at the fruit market…

Chuy and Perla in Menchaca kitchen… Chuy asks for Carm. Perla says she left and left her alone there. Chuy says at least we have a little while before we open the Fonda. It is almost 12. Perla quickly turns on the radio…. Seems it is time for ‘Tay’’s dayview airing… The silly cellular song begins… Perla begins to dance. Tay is doing his choreography somewhere with a few dozen fans… He is dancing but you can tell from his face that he is just not that into what he is doing.

At the fruit market, DA comes to see Nepo. Nepo asks DA what he is thinking about his career. DA says he is planning to coach soccer. Nepo again brings up the subject, prefers him running after a soccer ball even if as a coach, to running after guys. DA asks ‘you are going to start with that again?’ Gwendy comes in before it gets nasty.

Tizoc finishes his cellular song. The manager comes to the mic… says to the fans that there is more… he will do his second single now… But Tizoc grabs the mic and says he will sing now something special to the girls in the crowd. He tells the girls in the chorus what to sing… the managers are a bit concerned about what he is up to.

Gwendy and Nepo… Gwendy again is trying to tell Nepo to give DA room to be himself… Nepo insists DA is not like ‘those guys’. It will pass. Gwendy says ‘he is that way and that way you have to love him and respect him.’ Nepo wants to stop the chatting, wants to get a bit warmer with her… she likes it.

Tizoc plays the guitar and sings his ‘amor de microbus’. To the boos of the fans. But he keeps on pushing to sing it… the girls in the crowd are losing their breath… Tizoc finishes the song. One of the managers comes to the mic to finish the presentation. The other manager whispers through his teeth ‘I am going to kill you’. They both charge Tizoc, but Tizoc says ‘I am going to sing what I feel like singing’. The manager threatens Tizoc that this little ‘number’ will cost him a lot of money.

At the office, the Board insists that Emi be there. A-hole says that is not necessary. But AS, since this would be an excuse to postpone the signature, insists that Emi be present. Things get a bit irritated around. The Board is ready to make the official naming of A-hole RP as the President of the RP corporativo.

Tizoc keeps confronting the managers, says he wants to play his own music, that maybe they should look for a guy from ‘pueblo’. The manager says ‘you are a 'product' I created. And you have to do what I say if you really want fame and money. Besides, You do as I say, because if not, you will end up in jail’.

Back to Board meeting. They say A-hole has complied with Don Aureliano’s will. The birth certificate and marriage certificate certify he has. Lastly, A-hole, you must sign the papers that will make you president and controller of all the assets of the RP family. A-hole is so happy to oblige… I and only I will manage all the assets and corporate administration. A-hole is about to sign when the door opens and in comes Mati ‘One moment!!’ (seems Dr Miranda is right behind her, he is the one that opened the door for her). Everyone is looking at each other’s faces, MA is confused. A-hole turns white as paper.

Previews: Isela and Mini chat that all of A-hole’s plans just went down the drain.

Then we see that at Board room, Mati enumerates A-hole’s crimes to him in front of the Board and when she says A-hole abandoned her in the park, MA is about to beat A-hole into poblano sauce.
