Isela’s reaction of shock/speechless (LOL!) to Lauro’s proposal… Mini encourages the idea…

Isela finally finds her voice, says she is flattered… Lauro is about to die of a heart attack right then and there.. Mini gets worried. But he reacts and says he is happy go lucky. Isela starts planning the celebration (the wedding of the millennium!!... Mini coaches Lauro to let Isela have her day).

Carm and Rita seem to try to figure out their brand new cell phones. Carm is delighted about having a signal (LOL!) Rita will go swap hers …

MA and Mati… he told her about Lupe. He never would have imagined it. Mati understands. Mati will support him in whatever he does to support Lupe. He knows she would know he can’t stay and watch from outside. Mati is sure Lupe will understand sooner or later… But Mati tells MA maybe he should tell the Menchacas…. MA says if he knows her as he thinks, Lupe would face it without bothering her family.

Lupe and Carm at Fonda… they talk about needing help. Rita heard it on her way down and volunteers.

Nepo comes in, he came to see Nepo. He is there ot talk about their divorce. She also wants ot talk about DA. ‘That’ that he is going through… Nepo says that is his bidness, not hers. She insists they need to talk about ‘Lalito’ No, DA. But you won’t go until you hear me out..

Mini and Isela back at hotel… Mini says ‘the goddess is supposed to be me so I was surprised he proposed to you’… Isela gives herself kudos … Mini warns her ‘we need to go slow so he won’t ‘go’ before the wedding. As soon as you get married, you have to get him to change his will in your favor. Isela is very excited about getting married. (where is the Isela that worried about her body being rattled?)

Chuy and Tomas FINALLY talk to Tizoc about the goof-off about signing the contract without reading it. Tomas will do what he can for him. He has no experience in commercial suits but he will give them a hand, find out what he can.

Rita tells Nepo that she notices DA is not happy. He continues with soccer only to please Nepo, because he adores him. Nepo admits: ‘and I love him too, he is my pup’. Rita tells Nepo that DA wants to do something else (not sure if she said what DA wants)… Rita warns Nepo they will both lose him if Nepo does not let DA loose. IF he leaves, it is because he does not want you to worry about him. And your insistence is offensive, especially if it is regarding your own son. Nepo does not want to hurt him. Rita warns that if he continues with that intolerant attitude, he will lose DA. If he does not want to lose DA, he needs to accept him as he is.

At fruit bidness office, MA tells Carm what he plans to do to support Lupe. She offers any help she can give. MA says they have to keep it all without Lupe knowing. Carm says will be hard because how stubborn Lupe is… MA says it will be better for Lupe in the long term. He wants the best tests done so Lupe will be as healthy as possible so she will have a great future with Emi. Carm says yes, it is very delicate, we don’t want little Emi to get scared. MA: we are ALL scared.

Rita tells Nepo she married him to leave her house, but then she abandoned them. Nepo says it hurt big time. She regrets it, biggest mistake of her life… to leave a little boy who was not to blame for anything… she admires Nepo for having risen to the challenge. ‘ you have big #$)_*#$ … ‘ She asks him to just like he found heart to get himself and DA through it all, to find room in his heart to understand DA’. Nepo still has a hard time. Rita says DA is just trying to be himself and be happy about it, just like anyone else. Nepo asks her if ‘being gay’ is not an illness. Rita says he hates something that is unknown to him. Try to show him love, not hate. Nepo says he will try. Are we done talking?

Rita tells him that DA had feelings for some guy here at Nopalera… He did not say he still feels anything but I can tell. Nepo says he still is angry at that ‘darn rich kid’… Nepo leaves. Rita sighs.

Mati talks to Leo… says she has noticed he has become a bit isolated in the house. Leo hesitates to open up to her. Ok grandma. He told his friends about being gay, and they changed their attitude toward him. Mati says that is why you should choose your friends carefully. Leo says he had been wrong about them. Mati says hatred does not know race, social ranks or anything. And remember you left a good friend in Nopalera. He is much more friendly-uki, tolerant-uki… than anyone else he relates to.

Nepo and DA… DA tells Nepo he would like to get to know Rita more. He will probably never see her as his mother but wants to get to know her. Nepo reminds him he was his mother and father. Don’t you dare bring her here to my house.

MA with RPs at dining room, he keeps insisting Leo should work with him at the juice bidness. Mati likes the idea. Leo says ‘I thought the mother of all vices was..’ (and points to AS, LOL!) AS insists Leo was born for artsy things. Leo says meanwhile he can lend a hand in the juice bidness. They all leave AS alone. She gets the blues and talks to DaVinci, who seems sleepy.

Saul and Tomas… Tomas asks Saul for advice about Tizoc’s issue. Saul asks if the family knows. Yes, and they are all worried. Saul wants to hear more about it…

MA and Trofeo and Leo at the fruit office… Trofeo freezes as if he wants to pose for a commercial. Leo thinks it is funny. He even shoves trofeo away. Leo thought he could help with the label but that is done so he doesn’t know what he can do. MA explains this is our family bidness, so tuyu-ki as well.

Trofeo is excited about the future of the bidness. MA suggests Trofeo give Leo a tour. Leo ‘casually’ asks Trofeo if he knows where DA is. MA heard this and seems content about it.

Frida and the nerd guy.. she tries to inject some self-confidence in him. She has an idea about a campaign they can work on together. He reminds her about her old failed campaigns. He mentions something about kids, and she gets an idea about a charity about adopting children. (she smiles)

MA and Saul at the fruit offices. They talk that A-hole must be smoking internally about being now the sales manager after being Prez. Saul also tells MA about what A-hole is doing to his BIL, Jose Tizoc.

Leo and Trofeo are in the ‘field’ at one of the fruit juice stands… Leo comes with idea about juice stands at the ‘high end society’ zones… They can even come up with juice from fruit combinations with mega-attractive names. Leo starts undermining ‘proles’ like Trofeo for their limited vision. But he stops mid thought and goes ‘Oh my God!’ when they see DA coming toward them…

Frida runs into Tato… she tries to avoid him, he follows her. She wants him to omit himself. Tato insists he is much better catch than the loser Tizoc. She suggests he go find a volcano and jump in. She is seeing some page about babies in the internet… (seems she came up with giving the kid up for adoption)

MA and Tomas meet with MA at the fruit bidness office… about finding a way to help Tizoc. Saul reads the contract and makes some gestures at first ok, then it seems he is physically hurting. Saul says they can just pay the named ‘Charlie’ what he wants.

Leo tells DA that while he decides whether he goes to New York, he will help MA with the juice bidness. Trofeo laughs at Leo’s ‘uki’ talking. DA says what happened with the plans to go to art school in NY? Nepo approaches them too… Leo tries to hide behind Trofeo but Nepo had seen him. Nepo asks leo what he is doing around here. Leo …

MA tells Tomas he will help out. Saul mocks MA for being the ‘Saint Miguel Angel of La Nopalera’. MA says it is the least he can do for folks who helped his family out when they had nothing.

Lupe and Carm… Lupe is getting really nervous and anxious now that surgery is coming up. Lupe says if it turns out to be cancer, it will be very difficult later on. She does not want his family and least Emi to find out about it. Carm says we will try.

Leo explains to Nepo that he came to work in the juice bidness because MA asked him. DA defends Leo… Nepo gets angry again. Trofeo asks him to chill. Nepo even slaps Trofeo. Leo jumps in and says don’t want violence so he will just leave. DA nags to Nepo that they were not doing anything wrong, only to not have trouble with him so chill it donw a couple of notches… (DA leaves miffed)

MA again visits the school… goes to talk to Emi… This time Emi even is willing to share his food with MA. MA gives him a bottle of juice, says he wants Emi’s opinion on the juice. Emi likes the juice. HE seems a lot more friendly toward MA.

Tomas and Chuy are meeting with Tizoc. Tomas and Chuy are letting Tizoc have it about his goof-off. Chuy threatens him with a beat-down if he does it again. Tomas says they will try to get to a deal with ‘Charlie’. Chuy says hopefully, so this darn kid won’t have to spend time in jail. Tizoc is scared.

Isela and Mini are talking about her gown. Isela wants white gown. She is a widow so she can do it, Mini would not be able to because she is divorced. Mini says since he proposed I can’t stand you. Lauro comes in, again …yes, AGAIN!! Apologizing for his prostate problems. Isela says she found a small church. She wanted to invite half of Mex, but at least everyone will find out through the media. Mini tries to come up with the excuse of them not having lots of money since her dad died. Lauro says don’t worry. Mini even asks for permission to call him ‘papi Lauro’. He is ok with that. Excuse me. (AGAIN!!!) Mini mocks Isela about Lauro’s problem being worse than A-hole’s frustrations for Mini.

At Fonda, Tomas is helping Nepo and Rita sign their divorce papers. Nepo asks Rita when she will return to the Gabache’ (EU). Rita says not so fast, dear. She will stay a while working… at the Fonda.

Leo asks MA and Trofeo why they will keep the fruit juice stands if they are going to expand into industrial amounts. MA says yes, both. Trofeo mocks Leo because Leo does not understand the slang when MA talks to Trofeo. MA leaves. Leo explains to Trofeo that behind each prank there is a ‘reason’. Again, DA is nearby greeting Leo. Nepo again watches it and does not react happy but nowhere near as angry. Even makes a ‘oh well’ gesture.

Tizoc asks Tomas how he could settle the suit thing so quick. Chuy is just too happy to have that issue resolved. Chuy again nags at Tizoc for goofing-off. Lupe says don’t keep hammering the same nail. Tomas tells Tizoc he will just not be able to use the screen name Tay.

Lupe gets a bit suspicious about how come it got resolved so quick if recently he said there was no way out. Tomas won’t give details.

A-hole at office is irate when Charlie told him the issue is over. Charlie does not know where they got the money… A-hole is really angry out of control. Charlie just hangs up after telling him next time he wants to sue someone find another ‘pimp’. A-hole gets even louder and more out of control. You know who was my dad? Who was my grandpa? (now you remember that!)

Frida talks to herself and to her girl in the picture… what if I find the ‘to be parents’ myself instead of giving him in adoption?
