Mi Corazon Es Tuyo # 45, Luz to the Rescue

We start where we left off, Tamara slaps Fanny for having a relationship with Leon. Who slaps a person like that? Does she think she’s on Jerry Springer? But out of no where Ximena comes to the rescue and pulls her off. Why is Ximena at the corporate campus?

Luz shows Ana a loose tooth and Lichis is thinking about her guateque (new word for me; party). Ana says that she needs to dance a vals (waltz) with her father and then Ana remembers her dance with him and gets all emotional.

Fanny is in a meeting with Fer, Isa and Enrique to discuss being his assistant.  She’s not keen on the idea and acts like a spoiled daughter of the president. She left the university because she didn’t want to go into business administration. Then explain to us why you took a job working in business administration? Enrique suggests meeting in his office to figure out what she would like to do.

Now Isa and Fer are alone and Isa decides it’s finally the time to confess her problem that she and her mama are in extreme debt. They owe a lot! Muchísimo! She shows him the bills and he’s quite taken aback. He agrees to help her with it and she attacks him over the table with amorous moves. Yuck.

León, Tamara and Mau visit mama. He tells her that he quit his job.

Seba is still crying over his hate for isa and the loss of his mother. We feel your pain, son, we hate her too. And the mother that made her. Ana tries to console him.

Nico wants to talk with Bruno about what he feels for Manuela, and if Bruno does feel something for her and Bruno confesses to Nico that he does like Manuela as Manuela overhears him say this, she is overjoyed. Then he mentions his broken heart, the pain is so great, but just then YoMama interrupts and wants Bruno to do some reflexology on her feet. Bruno gets to work, he’s had reflexology training in his past life apparently.

Ana is now with the children in the homework room is giving them each a large sheet of paper to draw something with a different letter on each one. She gives them each a paper and they are to use the letters o,c,á,n,m,s,g, What’s it spell? No idea. Nico comes in and Ana rushes to get him out the door in order to not see what they’re doing. So it must have something to do with Nico's proposal.

Fanny meets with Enrique in his office. He questions her about what she likes and she thinks she may like to work in public relations, she likes working with people. He agrees to help to get her started on a new idea for the corporate image. She leaves excited, and he mutters to himself that she will be perfect for his venganza. Huh? Why does he want revenge? Is he mad that Fer married Isa? He should be thanking him for that.

Jen and Jon at work, he continues to look at her with moon eyes. I’m sick of him looking at her butt.  Jen suggests that Jonny do a comedy act at Chicago. No Jen, he’s really not that funny.

Fanny is back in Enrique’s office. He throws his idea to her. He wants to change the image of the business, the anniversary of the business is coming up and he wants the image to be more friendly and approachable. Can this new guy just start making changes to the business like this right away? Seems odd to me.  She asks if he’s run this by her father and he says no, but does she want to work on it with him? Yes, but her phone interrupts and she doesn’t have the professionalism to let it go to voicemail, or turn it off, so she answers it. It’s Margarita and wants her to come visit her. Later, Enrique wants her to get the project started and they will meet in 2 days. He also wants to learn more about her personally. I’m not sure where this is going, I hope it doesn’t go there. He tells her that he’ll see her tonight at the house. For what?

Jonny now visits Fer’s office to apologize for their last meeting when Jonny was drunk and tried to fight him. Fer is reminded of something Jonny said back then. He wants to know what Jonny meant when he said that Ana is not what she seems. Jonny hems and haws and finally comes up with Ana colors her hair.

YoMama walks into Isa’s bedroom and tells her about her plan she got from watching the worst TN in the history of Tn’s, that she hid Isa’s pearl necklace in Ana’s room to trap Ana and get her fired. They both are excited to see Ana's downfall with this move. But the problem with this plan is that Luz happened to be walking by the bedroom and heard the whole thing. Luz runs off to save the day!

Sebastian continues to cry and Ana gets him to dance away his tears. Dramatic herky jerky moves and the ripping off a shirt ensue while he tries to dance, but it didn’t work. He’s still sad. Maybe if he kept a journal and wrote down all his angst, that might work better. And we wouldn't have to see his dancing.

Jen is visiting Nico and wants to know why he’s so nervous. He finally tells Jen he’s planning a surprise for tomorrow.

Later that evening, Ana talks to Fer about Sebas and his difficulty moving past his pain of losing his mother and of our pain of Isa marrying Fernando. She tells him his dancing today was like he was electrocuted. We on the patio think his dancing always looks like he’s been electrocuted, even when he’s happy (think Elaine Bennis here.) Just then Isa storms in with YoMama and announces that Ana stole Isa’s pearl necklace. Ana is incredulous and Fernando is flummoxed.

Fanny arrives to Margarita’s house and meets Mau. Fanny falls in love with the cutie pie, who wouldn’t. Later, Margarita talks to Fanny alone. She pleads León’s case but Fanny thinks that having a wife and child and hiding that fact is a deal breaker.

YoMama wants to search, while Fernando defends his employees. YoMama says you can’t trust these lowly people. Ana is sure that they won’t find anything so she permits them to search. Up they go. YoMama goes right to the place she put it, in the night stand, but it isn’t there. She’s confused. Luz shows up and whispers to Ana something we’re not privy too, but we figure out what it was when they don’t find anything and Ana suggests that they go look in YoMama’s room. Yo thinks that’s a crazy idea, she would never steal it. Ana suggests they go look to make sure. Fernando promptly finds it in her nightstand. He asks what kind of game is she playing, Yo can’t talk fast enough but has nothing to say. Everyone leaves but before Ana leaves, she tells YoMama that she just shot herself in her butt, and Luz and Ana strut out holding hands while YoMama cries in frustration. Isa is duly embarrassed too.

León wants a divorce. But Crazy Bitch goes all crazy bitch on him and storms out.

Enrique arrives to the mansion and Manuela answers the door. Guess how she reacts to seeing him? That woman needs to get herself some, Stat!

Fer is trying to get to the bottom of what happened. Isabela, in true form, tries to throw mama from the train. But Fernando reminds her that she also accused Ana of stealing it. She said that her mother told her that Ana did it and she believed her. So Fer asks the next logical question, why does YoMama want to hurt Ana?

Avances: Enrique tells Fer that Fanny is very smart and very pretty, which makes Fernando squirm. Enrique finds out that Isa is preggers, and then caresses Isa’s hair.

Comments:
My guess about Bruno. His pain is he lost his wife and child and the child will end up being Ana. And as I said before in the comments, I think he goes somewhere and volunteers at an orphanage.

Dear Cathyx,

Thank you for the wonderful recap. You gave me some good laughs. I now wish that I had hung in a little longer with CI, just to witness a bit more of the worst novela of all times!

And, thank you for the wonderful hypothesis about Bruno and Ana. That will keep me going as complications continue to ensue!

I really felt for little Sebas last night. For the first time, I thought that he could act. Poor little guy and his father is interrupted with the nonsense from those two viboras.

I don't think that Yomama is on to whatever is happening between Enrique and Isabela. Her ignorance about that could make for some interesting complications.

I loved the scenes over the last two days between Johnny and first Diego and then Fernando. The two really showed the contrast between the two brothers. Johnny and Diego aren't so terribly different -- both know how to have fun, especially with women. But fate has smiled on Diego, giving him wealth and talent. Fernando is busy, doesn't have time for Johnny, can't understand why he's there and engages in some paranoia about who Ana really is. Fernando has a lot of work to do to be worthy of Ana and hopefully remembering his promises to his kids will get hims there.

Go Luz!

Great recap!

So happy for Luz and loved at the end where the kids were listening outside the room when Fer lit in to Isa.

Could Isa and Enrique not be in cohoots? Maybe his venganza is with Isa and using Fanny to make her jealous can be part of the plan.

Thank you, cathyx, for the great recap!

Luz rocks!

Regarding Bruno and Ana, hmmmmmm... Anything's possible, I suppose. (Frankly, I wouldn't mind hiring Bruno to practice some of that reflexology on my feet at the end of the day.)

I also found it amusing when Xime happened to arrive at the corporate offices, just when Fanny needed her. Maybe she was applying for the corporate sign-polisher job.

Surely, Enrique's vengeance scheme references some grievance from the long past. He cannot possibly be jealous over Fernan-duh marrying Isabruja.

I still have a difficult time wrapping my head around Isabruja, a Harvard graduate, resorting to seducing corporate presidents, resorting to pregnancy, and resorting to bullying under-educated, working-class folks to achieve her financial goals. Seriously, this brilliant woman had to have scored at least 2200 on the SAT. Why doesn't she just start her own Fortune 500 company? I know. I know. If I put on a beanie, I won't worry about such incongruous details.

Fernan-duh did earn two points with me last night. One was for his welcoming Luz into his bed, placing her between him and Isabruja. The other was for his expression of disgust when Isabruja snuggled against him in bed. (I still root for Diego, though.)

Carvivlie - I do think Isabruja and Enrique are in cahoots, plotting something dastardly.

CathyX, big thanks from me also for the splendid recap! Much appreciated.
Mati: I agree with your comment about Sebas, poor kid. He is doing a good acting job. But his little sequence of trying to dance "heep-hop" while crying was painful to watch.

By the way, the stolen necklace scheme was used in one of my favorite movies, "My Man Godfrey" (1936). Two snotty rich sisters are vying for the same man. He rejects one of them: in retaliation she hides her pearl necklace in his room and then brings in the police to search the room. Luckily he had caught on to her and had moved it before the police came. It was fun to watch then and fun to see it again now, with the addition of little Luz.

Such a great recap Cathy! Boy, did you get a fun one to give us. And I'm all for your theory on Bruno. Ana may not find her mother, but maybe she finds her father?

I think YoMama learned a valuable lesson...don't ever borrow plans from a TN that couldn't keep it's plots and characters straight. Spells Failure for sure.

And could Luz have been any cuter in knowing she one-upped the brujas. That should help with her nightmares. Loved how Ana and Luz walked out all proud, hand in hand, after telling off YoMama. And I guess we found out where Isa gets her tantrum antics.

One would hope this would put a stop to the "Let's get Ana" intrigues, but I wouldn't count on it.

I do think Enrique and Isa are in cahoots, but hearing about a pregnancy may not have been something Mr. Smarmy expected. And my guess is there is an extremely good chance the bambino is his.

As for this whole idea of revenge...my guess is it business related somehow. Maybe Enrique's family was hurt by either Nico's or Fer's business dealings.

Since it's apparent Enrique and Isa had something going on and know each other, they recruited each other to get what they want: Enrique his revenge and Isa her millions. Explains why Isa zeroed in on Fer so fast and furious and wanted into the company.

Ana needs to knock a club over Fer's head to help Sebas, or recruit Diego to do something. That little guy is not in a good place and could fall into an even deeper depression.

Sorry....wayyyyyy too much Johnny gracing my screen. Is he best buds with Osorio or something? His leering now at Jen is getting tiring, and please dear lord, tell me we won't have to watch him do a comedy routine. Darn, there's that nausea again....

Daisynjay

Cathyx, thanks the recap was great. Tamara would make it on Jerry Springer, wouldn't she? Yes, Isabella did try to throw her momma from the train.Very funny.

The funniest scenes for me were those in search of Isabela's pearls with Ana so confident and even taunting on the sidelines with Luz, as Isabel and Yolanda ran amuck. After this fiasco, Isabela and Yolanda are going to have to be a bit more careful in their harassment of Ana. My favorite of all was Yolanda shaking her tiny fists and stomping her tiny feet at the end in total frustration and humiliation.

Traveling Lady, I too have enjoyed the Johnny scenes with both Diego and Fernando.

Cathyx, It seems we are seeing some depth to Johnny's character beyond his staring at Jennifer's rear. LOL

J in Oregon, interesting comment about plot and My Man Godfrey

Poor Sebastián was so upset he could not dance at all.

I cannot wait until we find out why Enrique wants revenge on Fernando and use Fanny. He says wants to change the image of the company to make it "fresher and friendlier ": Fanny now knows. but Fernando doesn't know about it? What was that all about? This will be an interesting plot line. Isabela must be involved somehow.

I think Fanny will be slurped back into the León camp sooner rather than later.

Jarifa

Does anyone know exactly what Fernan-duh's company does or manufactures? Could Fer's company have put Enrique's competing company out of business?

Cathy what a funny recap. I loved it!

If Fanny's choices are either Leon or Enrique, please let her go back to Leon.

I loved the title, Luz to the rescue".

Ecuador Bound,

Fernando's company "La costeña" is a canned food company that exists in the real world. I have some of their products on my shelves. I love how the novelas mix fiction and reality.

Jarifa

Jarifa - Very interesting. Does the company have to pay the tn execs. for advertising?

I did notice the water bottles on the company's table, when Fer, Isa, and Enrique discussed business, bore the Mi Corazon es Tuyo logo.

Jarifa, now that you mention it, I buy their chipotle peppers and other canned peppers. How funny that they use a real company. And now they want to change the image, and perhaps some fraud to go with it with Enrique wanting to do some damage. Will this affect the real company? Too funny.

Thanks, Cathyx! So funny! I especially loved the lines about throwing mama from the train and Jerry Springer.

YAY LUZ!!! She is the best. I love it when a dastardly plan backfires. And now Fer knows that Yomama, at least, is out to get Ana and is willing to try to forge evidence to do it. I hope he will remember that for the next scheme.

Maybe Enfrique used to work for the chile company in Abismo de Pasión and he's mad that La Costeña controls so much of the chile market? Did Elisa send him to get revenge?

I always wonder about the real-world companies that are featured in telenovelas. They are sponsors, and I suppose they like all the exposure of their brand name, but the way things work in telenovelas it's hard to see how that is GOOD publicity most of the time. They make the companies seem really poorly run and full of idiots who don't do any work. Like Avon in PEAM.

I think we will be seeing more and more of this blatant corporate sponsorship as novelas become more and more expensive to produce.

Remember PQEAM was set in the corporate backdrop of Avon; and how could we forget the Tundra character in LQLVMR who took on a life of his (or her, depending on your gender preference for autos) own throughout the novela!

Great Cathyx, and loved

"his dancing always looks like he’s been electrocuted, even when he’s happy (think Elaine Bennis here.)"

All Isabela has to tell Fernando for a reason Yomama has it in for Ana, is she is protecting her daughter, because Ana struck her.

I hope Luz finally tells Fernando what she heard during the conversation, though it was cute how it went down.

So, Isabela got no lecture from Fernando about her large debt only a quick agreement to help.

Wow, Fanny has a big target on her naive back and Enrique will leave a mark.

Does anyone have any recommendations for novelas with JS?

I'm loving him in this novela! I've seen LQNPA, FELS, MDET, and LEV. He was fantastic in all. I didn't watch QBA because I loved Mark Tacher in the original, LHDM.

Tofie, I had the same thought on what Isabela could tell Fernando about why YoMama did that. She knows Fernando is still in love with Ana and she was just trying to help Isabela out.
I'm hoping the lecture on money will come at a later date.

I don't mind corporate sponsorship on TNs. So far it hasn't been to intrusive for me. Even in Abismo de Pasion and La Que No Podia Amar with the Tostitos bag needing to face the camera all the time, it didn't bother me. They didn't discuss the product ever. I would like to see more creative uses of the product placements.

One thing I never understood, is how Ana's hair goes from being straight to curly when she is dancing at Chicago. Is she wearing a wig either on or off the nanny job?

GoBlueFan, they show Jen using a straightener on it after she performs, so she must have naturally curly hair.

Talking about "in your face corporate sponsors". remember that PEAM took place in Avon regional corporate offices in Monterrey? Smart advertising.

Jarifa

PSMA had Home Depot.

Good work.

How would a food company need a "friendlier" image? That should be the first thing anyone thinks of in terms of a corporate image.

Luz definitely saved the day. Isabitch and her mama better think twice about messing with her. She is Fernando's favorite child and he would never stand for anything happening to her.

If Jenny marries Nico and moves into the Mansion, doesn't she automatically become the Senior Senora? I thought that was how it was in LA cultures. Wouldn't it be great to see Jenny taking on Isabruja?

Not necessarily. I think the mansion is in Fernando's name and he pays the bills, so he is (theoretically) the master of the house.

Yeah, I guess Fernando had to buy the mansion for all those kids.
I think Jenny won't hold any punches with Isabruja, whereas Ana feels she has to remain calm, especially after the slap heard around the world.

Urban - You note something that has bothered me in the past. Fernan-duh does seem to obviously favor Luz. In real life, her siblings could not help but note this favoritism, and it would serve as a source of contention between them and her. Not to mention, of course, it would not promote optimal self-esteem in them either. For me, he continues to live up to his name: Fernan-DUH. This 'galan' is clueless.

Thank you for the great recap Cathyx. I love the idea of Bruno being Ana's father, although you would have thought his mama would have know if he had a life before becoming "Fernando."

Ecuador Bound, I agree about Isa the Harvard grad being totally inept. Perhaps she is not the Harvard grad? I would assume she's been lying about everything!

And while I think sometimes Sebes dances like Elaine, I think he has shown some good moves every now and again-- like when he danced with the street guys.

Have a nice Saturday!
Rebecca

“For someone with an MBA Isabela knows nothing of money.” said Hera. “Perhaps the degree is falsified.”

“That seems very likely,” said Athena. “One would think a woman like that would know something of money or a man like Fernando wouldn't marry her.”

“And that's not even with the bills from that travesty of a wedding,” Aphrodite said.

“On another note, I think this new guy is up to something. It takes a lot to creep me out,” said Demeter.

“'Enfrique” is just the right name for this guy. If I were producing a Frankenstein movie in Mexico I'd cast him as the monster,” said Hermes.

They all laughed.

If Isabela doesn't have a degree like she should, Fernando should step down as CEO of the company. To not do a background check on ones righthand man should be punishable by resignation.

Cathy, thanks for such a detailed recap.

The favoritism of Luz was mentioned as a possible point of jealousy for the other children. That's certainly a possibility, but it could also be that she's everyone's favorite baby sister and gets a pass for being so well loved.

Victoria Gomez, you were asking about Jorge S. novelas. I really enjoyed Mariana de la Noche. Jorge is in love with Mariana (Alejandra Barros), is hotly pursued by Angelica Rivera (later to play Gaviota), and is opposed by Cesar Evora (in his prime). Lots of great supporting cast, including Rene Strickler, Patricia Navidad, and Patricia Reyes Spindola. Filled with intrigue and dramatic plot twists, beautiful scenery.

La Paloma:
Thank you so much. I loved AB in "La Verdad Oculta" (she was so hot with EY) and AR (Gaviota)in "Destilando Amor". I look forward to watching MDLN after I finish "Los Plateados" with Mauricio Islas (gorgeous guy).

I think the other kids gave Luz a pass because she was so traumatized by their mother's death. Nando and Fanny are mature enough to not be jealous of her, but Alicia and Sebas might yet show some degree of envy because they're at "that awkward age."

Adriana Noel here:

Thank you, Cathyx, you were very entertaining - I bet you had a blast recapping about Yolanda's humiliation. Yey!
I LOVE your theory about Bruno!! And maybe Ana's mom does turn out to be a rich woman, so she can put Isa in her place the only way that bruja would understand it - by using the power of money.

I'm pretty sure that Enrique's revenge has nothing to do with Isa - she's not worth the trouble.

Ecuador Bound, I CAN NOT understand Isa, either. She goes to Harvard, is smart enough to land a Vice-President gig and leaves it all behind because she married a rich guy? Oh yeah, she's like 2 days pregnant, too.
I can totally see Enrique go there with Fanny. She is hurt and vulnerable right now and the actor died his hair dark, maybe in an attemp not to make the pair so creepy? Fanny does seem to get pretty chummy with the boss... That's so strange, when I was 19 I thought that all guys over 25 were old, the ones over 30 were as good as dead to me.
And yeah, young girls are attracted by older men for all kind of reasons, but she is still a teenager, for God's sake.

At least Fer is trying to keep his promise and be there for the kids.
For now...

Some 19-year-olds need older guys because guys their own age don't appreciate them. This is particularly true of intellectual high-achievers who discover that guys their age are intimidated by their GPAs.

I don't think this applies to Fanny but if Enfrique intends to take advantage of her he is more than worthy of that moniker. Here's hoping that Ana can spot this fast enough.

I think Enrique is licking his chops and believes he can use Fanny to execute his revenge what ever that is. He knows Fanny is sheltered, naive and hurt. Perfect for a predator.

Absolutely. I can't recall this actor playing anything other than a villain. Also Isabitch recommended him so he is connected to her somehow other than professionally.

Sorry I haven't provided a weekend topic but I've been very busy with the opera group. I have three performances to attend this week and still need someone to relieve me of an extra ticket.

What kind of high heel shoes does Ana wear while being the Nanny? They sort of have a style like the Christian Louboutin shoes, but without the signature red soles.

Tofie and Urban:
I see Enrique as a pure villain, probably because I've never seen Lisardo play a good guy. To me, he is perfect for the bad guy role. Tofie, predator/stalker/creep would be the words I would use to describe him.

Now there are two characters that I don't look forward to seeing on the screen: Johnny and Enrique.

I've only seen Lisardo playing bad guys too, but I don't have a problem with seeing him on screen. I think he's quite handsome and I never noticed his blue eyes until he dyed his hair, which surprisingly to me I don't mind either, I usually hate it when men dye their hair. It definitely takes 10 years off his age. But Jonny is not attractive to me at all, and since he's also annoying, he could disappear and I would be happy.

Lisardo looks better with blond hair. This dark brown looks completely wrong on him, but it might also be a bad combination with his wardrobe.

thoughReally enjoyed the great recap, Cathyx and all the comments.

There is something I wanted to find out about, for a while I've been seeing those letters/marks at the end of words. What is the purpose of it all and how do you do it? I guess just for amusement? I guess you have to use a particular font? Just curious.

Ann-NYC

Ann-NYC, I don't know what you are referring too. I don't see letters and marks at the ends of words.

Ann-NYC:
If you copy and paste the letters/marks that you are referring to, one of us would be glad to answer your question.

Cathyx and Victoria G,

Thanx for answering.

What I'm talking about: se Urban's comment 7:56 pm on Sat.

Thanx.

Ann-NYC

Ann-NYC:
Are you talking about the words being in italics or the quote marks at the beginning and end of the sentences.

Victoria G.,

The Acoe with markings on it at the beginning and end of sentences and sometimes when they use an '.

Ann-NYC

Ann-NYC:

If you email me, I will try to answer your question.

email me at:

vikkideanegomez@gmail.com

I think it is better to answer your question through email and not take up blog space.

There are some really savy bloggers on Caray, Caray who are experts in HTML texting. Much more savy than I am.

Lisardo was a very good guy in Palabra de Mujer with Yadhira Carrillo, Juan Soler and Edith Gonzalez. Never made it to the evening hours but ran on Univision during the day. I read that it was a bust in Mexico, perhaps leading Lisardo to bad guy roles???

Urban:

I have talked to Ann-NYC; and she is definitely seeing something that I think is weird on the recaps and comments that I don't understand.

You are such a blog genius that I thought maybe you could provide a better answer than I am able to give.

Would you please lend a hand?

Her email address: anncos3@yahoo.com

Thanks so much for your recap Cathyx. So happy Luz was the heroine in this episode and hope we see less abuse of Ana.

Also not pleased w/the potential seduction of Fanny by icky Ricky.

I think I know what Ann is referring to, but I don't have the technical knowhow to explain what it is. Sometimes there are comments that I will read other places, not here, I've never seen it here, where in place of quotation marks or apostrophes, or question marks, there are symbols. I think that something in my computer is reading those in computer language instead of what they should show up as. That's the best I can explain it.

Cathyx:
Thank you so much for your help. She might be getting ANSI symbols mixed in with regular HTML text. I'm not computer savy enough to help.

I love how everyone on Caray, Caray is always lending a hand. This is a great community.

Thanks again

Cathyx and Victoria,

Thanks, that's it!!! Cathyx I get it everywhere you use an ' --
in your recap. And in Urban's
comments they also start and end sentences with symbols. Crazy!!!

Thanks for your help and explaining it to me.

Ann-NYC

PS: It is even used in Leon's name.

That's Leon without the '.

Karen, perfect name "icky Ricky"

Thank you for the recap cathyx and others during the week.

You did a wonderful job of following the twists of the CI-derived frame up.

It looks like Leon's mom is going to have a better chance of thawing Fanny than Leon himself. Must want to recruit a better mommy for her grandson.

I am confused by the entry of Enrique. He was referred by Isa, but I clearly remember that Isa got nervous and dodged at least one of his calls. Yet when he arrives, they seem to be cooperating beautifully so far, though to what end isn't clear.

Does anyone remember the "referral scene" (or can they at least recall which episode it was in?) Did Fernando seem to already know who Enrique was when Isabella made the referral. Either I missed that segment/episode, or it went flying way over my head.

It also seems that Betty has some history with him? The scene with Fanny and Betty suggested some romantic history, or at least some previous lusting on her part, but I didn't notice much reaction, if any on his part upon seeing her. Did I blink at the wrong time?

And then he's plotting revenge, but do we know against whom yet? Isabella? Fernando personally? La Costena?

We seem to have a new character with many possibilities, few of them good for our hero and his family.

Chris in FL

Chris, all good questions about Enrique. I don't think Fer knew him or about him before except that Isa had someone in mind for her replacement.

Cathyx, sorry to be so late but wanted to thank you for this wonderful recap.

"We feel your pain, son, we hate her too. And the mother that made her"; "No Jen, he’s really not that funny" and "Maybe if he kept a journal and wrote down all his angst, that might work better. And we wouldn't have to see his dancing" were all excellent.

I missed this so really appreciate your humor laden, well written summary.

I would love it if Bruno were Ana's father. She so desperately wants to find her mother - finding out he is her father would certainly soothe her heart.

Loved Luz ruining Isa and Yolando's scheme.

Please, please, Fanny...Don't go back to Leon.

Great comments all.

Diana

cathyx, great recap.
another place i have seen symbols shown is when the client software can't figure out what the symbols stand for... like some html code for spaces, letters with accent
for example & a a c u t e ; should be read in html for á
and i have seen series like %20 to mean spaces or line feeds...
but the italics instruction is right below the edit comment box.

great recap. of course my favorite moment was when Ana was laughing while Yola was looking in Ana's drawer and Fernando was like 'Mrs! there is nothing there!' and then Ana suggested they look in Yola's room and stayed behind when they left to thank Luz 'Te adoro amorcito!!!'

i totally agree with Jarifa and others, this really backfired on YoMama and IsaBruja. Now if they try another scam on Ana hopefully Fernando will remember this one.

ITA with your wondering about Enrique's revenge:
I’m not sure where this is going, I hope it doesn’t go there. He tells her that he’ll see her tonight at the house. For what?
if Fernando did not know Enrique before the day we saw him come in for interview, that means the revenge, chances are, is not against Fernando but goes all the way back to Nico and La Costena as a company... i agree that it might be about the competition (Enrique's family had a competitor business) or something Nico did to Enrique or his relatives.

I doubt Isa and Enrique are scheeming together... it sounds more like Isa owed Enrique a favor and that is why she referred him to Fernando, but has no knowledge of Enrique's revenge. Otherwise the revenge success would trump Isa's attempt to get her hands on the Lasc treasure chest.

Yolanda told Isa she was watching a comedy (not a tn) LOL!! I thought it was intentional there to refer to CI as a comedy as critique...
Then when Fernando finds the necklace in her nightstand drawer, she whines that he should not talk like that to his favorite MIL!! (LOL he only has one MIL!)
and yes, totally agree that Isa threw momma from the train... that is strike 2... first introducing her as her nanny and now throwing her under the bus about the scheme backfiring... i would not be surprised YoMama turns on Isa before the finale.

I really don't want Fanny to go too far with EnFrique before someone catches on to them, probably Ana...
and the previews, with EnFrique finding out Isa was 6 wks pregnant and asking Isa 'are you sure that baby is his?' was a OMG moment for sure. congrats to all those who predicted that.
I still have the prediction of Ana being Bruno's child.

Marta, very interesting reminding us that Yolanda had referred to the scene from CI as a "comedia". Besides being a critique, it also gives us insight into how evil Yolanda is. That was the scene where Maricruz had to dig the necklace out of the mud with her teeth and Yolanda thought it was funny. I am really enjoying Carmen Salinas in this one.

Marta, good surmising about Enrique's possible beef with La Costaña. When he was meeting with Fanny, he was the one suggesting to change the image of the company. And he asked if her father new of her ideas of the change. She said no, and he was good with that. That makes me think that he wants her idea to be bad for the company perhaps hurt the company, and then he could blame Fanny for it. So I think Marta may be correct that he wants to hurt the company and will use Fanny's inexperience to do it. So maybe there won't be anything sexual between them.

cathyx, i hope you're right in:
he wants to hurt the company and will use Fanny's inexperience to do it. So maybe there won't be anything sexual between them.

What was the original audience's reaction to FeVier in PSMA when he went after Aranza? We were outraged here and here we have a girl more innocent and a villain just as slimy.

In PSEM we knew Fernando's intent in wooing Aranza and had his partner in crime, Sonia, assist. Not only a sleeze factor but it also was a predator stalking his prey. I just hope Icky Ricky doesn't sleep with Fanny.

Quiero Amarte is on right now for those interested :3

CS:
Do you know when it started? How many stars out of five would you rate it?

Amor Real started last week on Galavision at 11 am.
